Daily Check in 08/05/2025 MasterCard got REALLY Spicy with me today. As soon as I mentioned Itch io and Steam to the first rep he HUNG UP. The second one I called was apologetic and filed my complaint ticket, but WOW. They are getting really tired of these calls. Which means KEEP IT UP! PayPal was much less spicy with me today, and filed a complaint ticket for me and offered to send me a list off all the stuff they won't process. Which is really just a list of the things they require APPROVAL to process, which is very different. Lot of false information going around over there and they're back to playing dumb about the situation with Itch io and Steam. Which means we need to keep the pressure on. Strip still refuses to take the call, and Visa just read the script and hung up as usual, though I was able to make me direct me around the sight a bit first. They even

directed me to their website where they have a fun little article about the situation called "Combating Illegal Adult Content." https://corporate.visa.com/en/about-visa/visa-network-integrity.html You'll need to scroll down a bit to find the article. When I asked what illegal content they were combating, I was directed to send them an email about that question and they finished the script and hung up.

Keep calling and keep asking questions! Don't let their excuses go unchallenged. This about about "illegal activity" this is about censorship and we can only fight it by making our voices heard!

personally, i find it highly unlikely and narratively unsatisfying if it were anything other than whm's little parade of death maidens?

if it weren't them, then the inevitable arc of desscaras learning to live with their presence in her life—whether she acquires them or ichi—falls flat. in general, libro's death is the only personal connection whm has with any of the characters. everyone else is understandably hostile, but only desscaras has personal beef with them.

i feel like taking that away would needlessly cheapen those character bonds, or worse, introduce a sort of "well, they didn't hurt anyone we care about so are they really that bad?" type of thing which is just. bad. a "morals should not be relative" type of bad.

Can't wait for the inevitable day Ichi realized he Is No Longer Okay with martyring himself. Can't wait for the random day while laughing and having fun with friends and family Ichi got hit with the fact that he wants a Future with them and that's not possible if he Dies. I can't imagine being a writer and caring about what anyone on twitter thinks. I guess this is because I have a fairly wide historical perspective; when I study math I feel in myself the tradition of Euclid, Al-Khwarizmi, and Riemann. When I read a story I think about it in the context of Beowulf and the Mahabharata. And of course when I study science I feel myself disengage from the human condition entirely, I seem to be in the presence of immeasurably vast Nature. My worthy critics when doing any kind of creative work are myself and Einstein's God.

can I be so real with you. can I be honest. totally aside from the moral panic about women on booktok being """porn addicts""" because they're reading erotica, I think it's so fucking goofy when people act as if there needs to be some kind of societal reckoning with how tiktok books "aren't very good." like, okay? they're commercial products mass produced for entertainment. tiktok didn't invent that; you're going to have to take it up with pulp magazines and dime novels and comic books. you guys would throw up if you found out about Fanny Hill.

people are sick and tired of localizers messing with translations instead of doing their jobs they vandalize the series inserting their own jokes/politics etc into the translation . or censoring stuff if they have na issue with it like if they think its sexist or in fire emblem fates there are two characters whose romantic s supports were localzied to be non romantic

or how many times they changed a characters personality or how they came off ( like making them more confrontational etc)
