i was just going to delete this ask like i do all scam asks, but i figured id post it just in case other people are getting similar things for... not being gullible? for trying to stop other people from being scammed and sending their money to scammers instead of actual palestinians?

wait i read ur tag and i am so curious! u say “its like when u say ur eating tortillas but u dont mean just the bread” but i cant figure out what u mean, ive only ever seen tortilla = tortilla. do u use tortilla to refer to like quesadillas also? tortilla + cheese?

ahh this might be a finnish (+some other countries) thing. if you're, for example hanging out with friends, and you decide to "make tortillas" it doesnt mean making the bread from scratch, but getting those pre-made tortillas (the bread) and putting filling in them like this

the 2nd pic is a tortilla package and as you can see they do sell the bread with the name tortilla as they should, but people just refer to wraps made with tortillas as tortillas here. quesadillas are quesadillas though!

#also lots of americans and mexicans complain about not being able to get real tortillas in europe but i cant remember what #tortilla bread (let me call it that please i knoww. i also call chai chai tea sometimes bc it makes it clearer what im talking about etc.#)#actually is supposed to contain and what ours do #ok its not just americans and mexicans but that was leading to my 2nd interesting thing which is #foods often arent made in an authentic way in other countries. ofc there are authentic restaurants but most of them arent #ie. from what ive understood. italian restaurants in america serve italian-american food which. yeah makes sense!#and in here if there's a regular chinese restaurant - they have probably modified the dishes to be more in tune with finnish tastes #same with sushi and pizza and burgers and whatever. they out bananas on pizza in sweden.... anyways #and like yknow kebab places can have different options and flavors depending on what country they operate in #but the tortillas – those are like. someone got inspired by hearing about texmex cuisine probably and then we got what we have now #or something. idk. my point is that what they call texmex cuisine here is heavily influenced by finnish food habits and preferences #so it's far removed from the original and v mixed in with finnish stuff #idk if that makes any sense #im not saying there arent any ''authentic'' places to get stuff from btw #but thats not the norm #ahh i feel like i worded this very poorly but someone smarter than me can probably grasp what im trying to say #ask

#tiny ramble. just bcs. but its kinda funny how like. the scavs plot is sorta forgotten when it comes to the ''happy'' LL ending?#like. they just got a baby. and crnkcase just got an alien boyfriend not that long ago. but thats all gone when they jump #and sure yeah. the jump is great for the LL crew. there's a reason its the ''happy'' ending #but no baby. no alien boyfriend 😔#flcrum would prob be happy about that. but grim and msfire def got attached. and crnkcase was just gaining some confidence in love. so?#idk. i just think its interesting how its kinda assumed by those that are more interested in the LL crew that the scavs would just fit in #bcs yeah. they worked well with the LL crew. but thats during quite the distracting and more important than socializing event #and bcs of that. the dynamics and real nitty gritty character interactions arent explored much #beside frt mx. love that they got buddy buddy with him ngl. wish we had more honesty. its a fun dynamic to explore #but yeah. idk. i think there could've been some idk. im tired. im running out of words. but interesting dynamics between the LLs and scavs #other than just everyone being super chummy and the scavs being just. idk. the ship class clowns or just background plot devices #like. theres a lot of interesting varied and nuanced relationships with the LL crew. so itd be a given with the scavs thrown in the mix too #let there be beef and tension and misconceptions and misunderstandings. along with the friendships and cooperation and community #ig it boils down to those who are more fans of the LL crew giving the same attention and care to the scavs equally to achieve that #not like. throwing shade or smth there. just like. idfk. scraping the bottom of the barrel for scav content makes one desperate #and some content just... isnt it. which just leads to looping back to reading scav-centered stuff again lol #sorry. star's post(hi) about krk made me think about a certain popular fic and my feelings about it and post-LL fics in general #im very aware of my own character biases. and how that affects my perception of content. but sometimes ya just wanna complain to complain😔#not saying the fics in mind are bad or anything. just that theres a plethora of LL-centered fics. and only a few scavs ones post-canon #so i tend to get nitpicky with LLcrew-centered scav stuff. but generally any of the scav-centered ones? i cherish either way lol

it is quite interesting to me how the feeling of the sounds of a word can change how the word feels imthats such a nothing sentence i mean like oo sounds bigger than like ee sounds to me you know. and of course theres kiki and bouba snd all of this.

#this is prettyyyy much not related but i rly like seeing the like. things that a ton of languages have in common like the word for mom #ending to have m sounds bc thats one of the first sounds babies are able to make its very very cute to me yk.#i just think language is sooo interesting and like. theres just so much cool shit with languages you know . and every language is so so so #unique and it makes me kind of sad that i cant understand every language fluently bc i think likee. IDK i think its easy to think that the #only different thing abt languages is like the words yk when i was a kid the only way i thought if languages was like Oh instead of sayin #apple they say pomme which was stupid LOL but ykwim its like. everything about languages is so like. its all manmade its all made by the #people who speak that language words rise up in languages out of necessity and its constantly shifting and changing like. its so beautiful #and thats why i think its silly when ppl think of languages as this like Still thing that like. yk. i think its good when languagss change #and mix together and drift apart and fracture into totally different languages its just so beautiful to me .
