Ok so based on this chart here, Eunsung falls under the Posessive type - specifically the Deprived: Clingy type. He will not stop clinging on to you, and if you leave him - he will be so unstable and won't be able to continue his career. But that doesn't mean he won't try and find you.

So the current story I have in mind is that the cult is trying to bring Soregujitsah (Eunsung's mom) to Earth to kill off unworthy souls, and to recreate Earth in her own image with her followers surviving the process. Originally, this plan almost worked successfully when Eunsung was born. However Eunsung's father, Pygulamon (PIE-GUHL-LAH-MON), split Eunsung's power into two - making the ritual incomplete.

Enraged, Soregujitsah decided to find Eunsung's father, but could not find him. But knowing how much Pygulamon loved his childen, she took out her hatred and disdain on Eunsung. Eunsung could not even go against his mother since his power was split.

The cult, fearing her hatred, swore that they will do everything in their power to bring Soregujitsah back to earth. But to do so, they needed to find the other half of Eunsung's power.

And that power, was unfortunately in you.

And so, with this power, you are able to develop and change his personality - regardless what type of MC you are. Your actions and decisions are extremely important, and will determine whether you two will live peacefully, or die as offerings to Soregujitsah.

It can also change the type of yandere Eunsung can be:

Imo, Eunsung is quite similar to Milo in @perfectlovevn (amazing vn!!! Love the MC); Eunsung can have multiple routes in how he wants you.

This is just a little overview of how various Eunsung can be. It's not everything, but hopefully this can give you an idea:

Deification vs Actual Deification:

Deification - Eunsung worships you like you're his god (ironically). Actual Deification - You become an actual god/goddess, while Eunsung fully embraces his god form.

In terms of the asterisks:

*Delusional - This one is a rabbit hole. You can enable him into taking drugs, making him lose sleep, etc. You can possibly encourage him to think beyond his capabilities (which he can cause he's a seahorse-siren deity). This can send him to an early actual deification, corruption route.

*White Knight Syndrome - Eunsung, realizing that you can't always be together, will do anything it takes to protect your "delicate" existence. This will put him back on the original route, but due to being corrupted by your advice, the ending will change. Can also lead to actual deification.

Explanation on Perseverance:

Perseverance is a meter that shows how determined he is in keeping the two of you together. This can appear in the Posessive and Obsessive Routes, but having a low and mid meter just causes bad endings (lol).

Tears well up in your eyes as you aimlessly wander around what feels like the maze of your busy city. Your parents had deemed you old enough to start going home on your own instead of bothering to come pick you up, leaving you all alone in the middle of a city. Clearly, you didn't practice your route home enough, because you were anxiously trying to get home.

The city was big. Like, really really big. Big enough for a tiny child like you to hopelessly walk around, desperate to find any sort of familiar store or house. The soon to be setting sun makes your growing nerves flare, your eyes sting from the sight. You miss the warm wooden floors, the big soft carpet in the middle of the living room that your mom told you to stop laying on even though it was really comfy.

Shoving back tears, you stare down at the concrete, aimlessly walking around and traversing It feels like you've been walking for forever, and even though it's only been 30 minutes, it's too much for your little legs to handle. You pick up the pace, trying to walk faster and find your house and escape this horror.

Soon, you start running, dashing along the streets as your sort-of-too-big-bag hits against your back. Where's my house!? You think to yourself, tears blurring your vision. You're only a kid, you don't wanna end up on the streets!!! What if your parents never find you!? What if you end up as a kid on the back of a milk carton!?!? What if—

With blurred vision, you flinch as you bump into someone, jumping back. As a child, it's nothing to have to crane your head to look up at people, but this person is tall. Taller than you've really had to deal with. Sniffling, your eyes dart around, examine your surroundings.

A subway, you think, based on how dim it is now. You remember your parents taking you here when the car was broken that one time. How did you get here? You look back to person you bumped into.

They were tall, bright yellow skin and big blue eyes staring back down at you. A party hat sits lopsided on their head and one of those party horn things, the ones that you like hearing at birthday parties. "Huh?" They ask, peering down at you. Their fluffy hair bounces with their movements, looking blurry in your tear filled vision.

You open your mouth to apologize for bumping into them, but all that comes out is a choked sob. A few of the tears you were struggling to hold back cascade down your face, one, three, four, five, until hot and wet globs of salty liquid pour down your cheeks. It's too much. This is too much. You wanna go home, not talk to some random robloxian, as cool as their party hat was!!!

"Ah– Hey, don't cry!!" They quickly try to comfort. You flinch a little as they pick you up, holding you with somewhat ease and pulling you up to be eye to eye. They stare at you, a concerned frown on your face. "Whaddya doing here? Are you lost?!" They ask frantically, clearly not very good at comfort.

Still, it's good enough. Shakily, you nod, your throat feeling too closed up to let out anything that won't be embarrassing. The party themed robloxian blinks at you worriedly, not quite sure how to address the situation. They try to help anyways, thinking.

"Where r u coming back from??" They ask, tilting their head at you. You mutter out the broken answer of "*School,*" and they pout just as much as you at the mention of that wretched place. "Blegh." They mumble playfully, sticking out their tongue in mock disgust. "I hate that place."

Both you and the robloxian picking you up jump at the sudden voice of someone speaking, a voice a bit deeper than the one in front of you. You turn, blinking before shrinking back in surprise at the sight of him. Another robloxian, muttering something in another language.

He looks pretty standard for a robloxian, normal cap, porcelain white skin, a sweater with stylized red text that look like the Roblox logo on it in, just in a different language. What really gets you, though, are his manibles, chittering as they huff. Their eyes are a piercing red, a shade casted over their gaze from their cap. Normally, you would've been terrified, but they look like a beetle!! You love beetles!!!

"Pest!" The other person says excitedly, smiling happily at the beetle-like person. The name certaintly adds up. "Do u have ur phone on u? I forgot mine at home, and this guy needs to call their parents..." They ask, and he tilts their gaze towards you.

Pest just sort of blinks at you, clearly not having expected his (who you think is) friend to be holding a child in their hands. Still, he sighs, obliging. "Yes, I do, Poob." They murmur, fishing through their pockets and pulling out a phone. You squint. It's an android.

"Thank u!!" The party robloxian, Poob apparently, smiles. They set you down and Pest tugs you along to a bench, sitting you down inbetween him and them. You awkwardly sit there, stealing little glances at the beetle next to you. They have beetle horns. It's so cool.

Poob hands you the phone and you awkwardly fumble around with the keypad, trying to think. ...You sorta don't remember what your mom's phone number was. But that's okay!!! You can figure it out. You read a book that said your gut will tell you which one is right. Somewhat nervously, you try and find the right one. Settling on what you pray is the correct one, you hand it back to Poob, letting them dial it and wait to see if it picks up.

As Poob works on calling your parents, you turn to look at Pest sitting next to you. You stare in awe and excitement at him. Mandibles. Beetle horns. How cool is that!? You wish you had horns!!! Curiously, you reach out to him, poking their mandible lightly.

As soon as you poke at Pest, he jumps away from the touch, flinching back. He yelps something in that same language as before. He narrows his eyes on you and you giggle, wanting to feel the sharp edges of them more. "DO NOT." He hisses at you, clearly not sharing the sentiment as they lean away from you.

Giggling, you lean closer, all previous fears of ending up as a missing child poster forgotten as you poke at him again. Another yelp comes out of him and Poob chuckles behind you, watching as you torment poor Pest.

Eventually, Pest gives up to his fate. He mutters under their breath about being unable to hurt a child as you giggle and poke at them with excitement, feeling his horns and looking at his extra arms. Poob stifles their giggles as they speak on the phone to your parents, informing them of your location. You can hear Pest let out soft grumbles as you giggle joyfully.

Soon enough, the familiar sound of your mom calling for your name catches your attention. Poob and Pest look up, watching as your mom tugs you up out of your seat. "Bye bye!!" Poob does a mock salute, picking you up again and holding you up to eye level. They blow their party horn at you, and in response you blow a raspberry back, soft giggles escaping the both of you.

As Poob sets you down, you immediately rush to hug Pest, and he freezes in place. Still, he hugs you bag, giving you a gentle squeeze that makes you beam. It's brief, but comforting nonetheless. Your mom thanks them for the help and you walk away, beaming with the knowledge that you have two new friends. Maybe you should visit the subway more often!!

Like his ending wasn't catharic tbh I was recently rereading all his previous seasons and stories and really got sad at how much potential it had and their were so many things left to explore. Voltage did him wrong😭😭. His past family sister and everything else rushed over just like that. I hate it tbh but then again voltage prioritizes it's profitable routes🫠. So what I really wanna know that do u have any personal headcanons, ideas, plotpoints literally anything u thought we would get to explore with him or even tho the route has ended u still believe in these personalized ideas and opinions u have of the boss x mc, his past personal life etc.( I am so thirsty for more of him💀). I'm doing okay thank you very much. I completely understand the feeling of loss and frustration over this as I feel it too, and will always feel it. I'm not sure the reason he was dropped was because he wasn't profitable enough. I have been trying to find out why he was dropped like this but sadly never received a satisfactory answer from Voltage

I'm a bit skeptical to think they have dropped him for financial reasons, since many other titles aren't profitable yet they keep writing for the characters from these titles? Seiichi/Boss is from one of their currently most popular titles, both in the Japanese and International app. MK has a great ranking overall, whether it's in the titles ranking, or character rankings during the elections in the two versions. They could have kept up with him given MK's theme that's full of possible plots, and stop writing the same office romance titles (that are bound to stop soon since there's not much to explore within these themes)

It's possible he was cut short because the author had lost inspiration for him and didn't know where to go with him anymore. I tried finding his author since Seiichi shares Kazuomi's writer. I think I found the correct person on X and tried contacting them but obviously they didn't respond. I might try again to contact more people linked to MK or even contact JP fans if I can find any haha but I'm not very confident that there's a definite answer as to why he was rushed. I think it was a poor decision to stop him when this title is one of their most profitable and longlasting as of now...

My Headcanons About Boss' Route from Masquerade Kiss 💋

Like you said, his story had a lot of potential! It's a shame his sister Reika wasn't reintroduced after her arrestation since she had mentioned she would come back to take revenge. It was pretty much foreshadowed that she'd be back, so the final chapter ruined this opportunity.

If we remove the final chapter from his story, or tried to change or implement it later, I think some events would have turned out this way:

We would see Reika figure out a way to come back once again as an antagonist to take revenge on Seiichi and MC. More details on their relationship would have been developed or explained. The reason they were at odds since childhood is not that well explored.

We would have learned about his past in more specific details. The marijuana plantations on the Japanase island where he grew up would have been mentioned. They probably are part of why he became an agent, or why he left his past behind

The PoV of how he became an agent. Like, how did Seiichi decide to join the EAC specifically?

More explanation of his other work with the police?! Because it was literally said he worked with them too behind the scenes and then it was never mentioned or used again?!

More parallels of him as Tom Cruise/Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible. We have already seen him have similarities with him, and since MK is inspired by MI and the MC is a fan of the movies, she also refered to Boss as her "personal Tom Cruise". Boss' skills of taking a new identity doesn't only stop at changing his behavior and habits. He is very meticulous and also knows how to completely change his appearance and height, which is similar to Ethan Hunt's specialty. We might have gotten a moment that's similar to a scene from one of the movies.

More details about his grandparents and how he was raised. What his parents had become, more key moments with the family that welcomed him overseas etc...

That's only my wish but I wanted to see more in depth the moment he met MC, like his PoV of that moment. I also wanted to see the way he trained her when she was a new recruit. Can you imagine what kind of trainings recruits must go through to be able to do what MC does now? It would have been very interesting. That also could have been a parallel to MI because Ehan Hunt trained Lindsey in the third movie.

If the story lasted longer, and Seiichi was able to have MC become a senior agent without him having to fake his death and get rid of the EAC's bad apples, it would have been interesting to have him train her in knowing how to torture someone to obtain information, as it is required of senior agents. It would have brought more development to MC as well, and show a new side of Seiichi's set of skills and the cruelty of the job.

Seiichi and MC would have a private wedding ceremony (but I headcanon that the moment he proposed to her, they were already considered "spouses" emotionally since they can't have an actual ceremony nor be legally linked as Seiichi doesn't have the papers required for that)

An alliance with the 3S's and Kazuomi, Kei and Yuzuru would inevitably help Seiichi and MC with some missions in the future.

In his story, MC doesn't become independent as an agent but stays with the EAC, but imagine if instead, Seiichi and MC started their own agency? They would pick their own allies such as Luca (Hugo's cousin) and maybe the whole EAC bunch we already know. It would make it easier for them to be together too since they would manage the same agency

They would have a child, or two, or three?! I once made a fake daughter for him and MC you can see HERE and made a fake story with her. I'm thinking that since Seiichi's story ending left a lot of plot holes, I should start making the fake stories again to change the scenario 🤣 I know having even one child is hard enough for simple humans but for spies, it's even harder to manage. But I wanted to see that happen for them

I was going to say subaru first, but laito's charming personality stopped me. The reason being, subaru is more subtle with his affection; he doesn't outright say it or show it without hesitation. He does it secretly, you'll kinda have to read between the lines in his words if you wanna hear his affection. Don't get me wrong, he does voice his emotions, just not as openly as laito. Most of the time, I feel like he'd rather try to show it through actions rather than words because tbh I'd be bashful to say what's in my heart too lol. Deep talks would happen more often with him tho, once he trusts you enough to talk about himself with you, you're not leaving him bbg he can't have the one person he cares about leave him behind <3

While people think the man is creepy, you couldn’t help but l̸̩̈́̿͆̔͌́ő̶̗̠͛͊͑̍̿v̵̨͎̈̄̀̚ĕ̵̖̦͔̘͇̑͊̿̌̑̄ [1] him. It didn’t matter that they didn’t shower or seem to understand that his clothes being thrown everywhere in his home wasn’t exactly the best for their mental health. The deteriorating mental health of your beloved truly did help you in a way though. It meant that he’d need someone around and what better person to help them than you? None of those other people in Uncanny Valley can help him like you could. They’re just tiny little humans, lacking anything significant about them. You, on the other hand, can protect your lovely little gas station worker by simply existing. Changing most of your form to anything he may desire is something you keep in mind, watching, together with, seeing what they may or may not like. Of course, some things you do rather wish to keep; a more human male figure seems more appropriate to you at times when you’re with the guy. It had taken a while but after watching how other men looked, you had been able to achieve the appropriate image.

Due to the time loop, it appears that John Doe forgets about you. Every. Single. Time. You’re doing what you can to ensure he chooses the right options. You’ve been trying for so ļ̴̢̹̫̪̙̀͛̈́̓͛o̸̬͔̍͛n̶̜̽͛̾̀̕g̵̨̖̎̇̄͐̈́̇[2]. So why can’t the person just r̵̬͇̓̋e̴̹͐m̵̨̢̈́͝e̶̻̭̔̄m̸̧͚̽͊b̵̯̑̈́ē̴͔r̴̭̙̊[3]? That’s all they have to do. Remember you! It’s all you want! You want to be remembered, for all your trials and errors to be acknowledged! You distort reality for him! You’ve even given him gifts you thought he’d like; he’s accepted them every time but soon enough, those gifts get pushed aside, along with forgotten, when the new day arrives. But today there will be a change! There has to be! You’ve tried your best so you need to make this one count. It’s either the route he chooses leads to the right outcome for you both, or one that leads to one they will surely hate.

You see him on the bus, staring into space. For a human, he’s more uncanny than most. Maybe that’s what brought you to l̷̹͊͘ộ̸̊͐v̴̛̬͈͆̂̈́i̷͎̪̝̾̔̂ṉ̴̱̪̑g̸͙͛̄͌ [4] them. Then again, not seeing anything odd or weird in a place called Uncanny Valley would be wrong. He truly does fit in with the town in a way; the behaviour that is. Their looks give them more of a wild, unhygienic appearance more than anything. So many other humans stay away from the guy because of it, leading to a wide berth on the bus. It works in your favour after all; you possibly can’t go a day without watching the darling thing. To catch your interest out of all the others is an achievement in itself. Oh, they truly should be proud of themself because of that.

Seemingly sensing your staring, the yellowed eyes look towards your glassy ones. Once met, your grin widens tenfold. It seems to nearly split your face in half, showing off way more teeth than a human can possibly have. They blink at you, the black shirt they have on changing its design to an eye with a question mark as the pupil. The lips that never seem to close fully lift just slightly, more in a confused smile than a happy one. You’ll take it though, feeling warmth clouding your brain at his simple grin. You lessen your beaming when he looks away, starting to zone out again by how unfocused their eyes start to look. The warmth starts to edge away now that their attention is no longer on you. You can feel your lips fall into a straight line, feeling empty with that small amount of attention lost.

The bus stops, opening its doors to let off the passengers. John is one of the first to get off, letting you follow him from a distance, having taken the back of the line to do so. They’re heading to the gas station, working another day behind the counter. The long, messy hair of his is easy to spot in the small crowd; not to mention that they, along with a few others, are heading to place. Not many stop by thanks to the reality-shifting you do to try and keep John more or less alone. It makes time drag by slower, plus, you can watch him for longer.

You lurk about, staying hidden among the aisles to let John get comfortable in the beginning of their shift. You don’t want to appear suddenly like you have so many other times. It always seems to lead to the B̵̟͚̝̫̣̹̯̈̿̑͐ ̸̠̟̬͙̍͊́̇͆͜͠͝Ȁ̵̡̰͙͍̱̹̯͆̿ ̸̓̀̋̒̇͜D̷̰̖̥̤̣͈͕͂̒̓̽͌ ̷͉̼̦̒̈́ ̶͈̲̏͐ͅE̵̗̘̺̥̰̠̟͆̅͒̐̔̈́ ̵̙̞̭̪̙́͐͊̿͝N̷̩͋̕ͅ ̸̨͚̯̈́͑̌̀́̾̚D̸͍̩̫̈̈́̋͗̽̕ͅͅ ̷̮̩̋̋̈́͊͋̀Ĩ̸̥͈̙̦͊̅͘̚ ̷̳̱͕̻̜͚̋̊͐͝Ṇ̷̡͓̟̃̆̊̔ͅ ̷̭̬̇̆̈̈́͊G̴̤̒̐̍̈́ ̶̣̺̒̚Ș̸̲̺͇̋̈ [5]. You can feel your desperation taking over, leading to your hands shaking.

You grab the first thing you can get your quivering hands on, leading the object to your mouth. A tearing sound echoes in the store as your mouth widens, the skin going from your lips to your ear tearing open to reveal more teeth. The object is placed in your mouth, your jaws clamping down on it, completely as well as utterly crushing the item. You can hear glass shatter and crunch as you eat both the glass as well as pickled quail eggs. The taste combined with the texture of both floods your mouth as you try to get your mind in order. By the time you finish, there’s a puddle of juice on the floor, the jar, metal lid, and pickled eggs all having been eaten. Your hands have stopped shaking so you allow your face to go back to the human male face you’ve constructed, alongside altered, just for John.

With a clearer head, you look around the aisle. Your glassy eyes make eye contact with a horrified mother with her three kids. The children, all ranging from ages four to eight, stare at you with awe mixed with terror. The mother, on the other hand, looks like she’s about to pass out with how much panic seeps out of her. You give them a large, toothy grin, wiggling your fingers mockingly. She herds her kids away, shushing them when they try to protest. None of them will remember this by tomorrow.

Deciding your beloved has had enough time to settle into their shift, you start to approach the counter. No one is at the counter, letting you walk right up and stand before him. He’s staring off again, almost always does so when bored or understimulated. The skin at the edges of your eyes crinkle as you smile, this one not as wide as the one who had given them on the bus nor to the family in the aisle. With no answer, you reach into your pocket, pulling out your closed fist. “Hi.” Your voice, now sounding like it comes from you, carries a cheery but unhinged tone. The yellow eyes you’ve come to adore look at you, now more focused and full of attention.

“Hi,” They blink in surprise at your presence, clearly having missed it until you appeared. “How can I help you, sir?” Your closed fist hovers over the counter, your smile never wavering, as you release your gift.

“For you!” Teeth, some bloodied while others are nearly shiny clean, land on the counter with a clattering sound. John stares at them, his mouth forming a straight line despite never closing all the way. With no answer from him, together with their eyes going unfocused again, you try to smooth it over with more words you deem to be complimentary. “You smell good.” It jolts them back into reality for the moment. You can see his pupils start to expand, nearly swallowing all of the yellow. His shirt even has the eye change, the pupil on it now a heart. You know you haven’t won them over just yet but you have the seed planted in his mind now.

“Uhm… Ok…” His voice shakes, along with his hands as he drags them closer to himself. The black nails they have shine in the light, only adding to their appearance you’re fond of so much. He scoops them in his hand, putting them in the incorrectly-worn jacket’s pocket. You’re not sure if they’re genuinely happy about your gift, or absolutely horrified by the fact that they were just given teeth by a stranger, in their mind that is; you both know each other already if only he remembered you.

“What’s your name?” You lean towards him, hands gripping the edge of the counter so tightly, they can see the strain in your knuckles. The smile he gives you is still small, pupils still enlarged. Quietly, as well as shakily, they point to their name tag.

“That’s definitely one of the names I’ve heard. I’m _̵͙̋̈́-̴��͖͍̆̆-̵̧̨͆_̸̦̞̊̆-̵̢͗͝_̵̰̇̕-̷̩̭̈́͋_̴͙̺͇̦̅̃  [6] but you can call me [Redacted]!” Your hands are clutched together near your chest as you tell them this, flashing distorted and gorey images in their mind. The smile on his face seems a little more strained now, a spiral appearing on his shirt. Maybe giving them your name confused them. Then again, anyone who isn’t like you will only hear it as garbled glitching. You’re only hoping the more understandable name you’re allowing them to call you is enough.

“Are you doing anything after work?” You decide to try and go for it, hoping that maybe, just maybe he’ll say yes like he’s done a few times before. Besides, he said “No” in the previous day. So this time, now that you’re more normal, they should say yes.

“No… I’m not doing anything. Why do you ask?” He seems genuinely interested this time, leaving that fuzzy warmth to worm its way into your head. An odd gurgling noise escapes you, making their brows furrow in confusion as you suddenly leave. Behind you, just before you exist, you can hear a small “It was cute but in a creepy, stalkerish way… And a little weird… A me type of weird.” escape him. Their comments don’t sound disgusted however, they sound more like you’ve successfully gotten their curiosity paired with their attention.

It’s a few hours later that John leaves the gas station. You can feel your entire being shake with excitement, feeling the hope that his choices will lead to the correct ending; no more time-loops or reality-shifting needed. You’re quiet as you creep closer and closer to the oblivious person in front of you. You can hear their mumblings about “finally getting off work” combined with “can’t wait to sleep.”

“Hi,” You’re practically hovering behind him, staring with large pupils. Your hands are shaking as you clutch them near your stomach. You refrain from touching him in case you scare him away. An entire body shudder is an answer you receive; just faintly you can hear them swallow. “Oh… My bad. I didn’t think I’d frighten you so bad…” You give him an apologetic smile, despite not feeling sorry at all. Seeing any reaction from them only feeds your infatuation. Before he can even respond, you’re leaning in more, invading his space. “Can I come home with you? Please? We can.. We can get to know each other better! Have a relationship!” You’re coming on strong, you know you are, but you can barely hold in your desperation.

Your last sentence seems to surprise them, seeing that spiral on their shirt appear again. Maybe should reword it… “Like- Like a great friendship! Best friends!” Your hands are shaking so badly, forcing you to dig them into your gut to hide it. That doesn’t hide how your voice shakes as you trip over your words. They lick their lips, glancing away from you for a second to process your words.

“Alright… Yeah. Yeah, you can come over-” His pupils are large again, a barely-there flush slowly crawling up his neck and towards his face. Their words are cut off when the bus arrives. As soon as those eyes leave to look at the bus pulling up, you dart away. You have to make it to his apartment as fast as possible. You have to get there before they can. Unease, curiosity, and excitement waft to you from the entrance of John’s apartment. You made it just before they had, vibrating with a feeling of fear mixed with passion. Slowly, he carefully enters his apartment. The trash, including the ungodly smell of everything in the apartment, would usually turn people away but turning off your smell to some things, or even rewiring your own brain can make it smell like it’s a new sort of heavenly desert, helps you enjoy John’s scent and their unhygienic apartment.

“Anyone home..? [Redacted]? Anyone?” Hearing your name from those lips makes a wheezing sound from the build-up of emotions. The sound you’ve let escape you allows John to locate you easily in his living room. There’s a nest of both unwashed clothings paired with blankets made on the sofa.

“Hello, John!” You can feel your mouth salivate. You’re so close. So, so close. You can smell their anger, their shock. You’re confused by it but try to push on. He said you could come over! They shouldn’t be mad at you for doing just that! “It’s unfair, you know? So, very unfair!” You cry out, feeling your eyes start to water. The stress from so many time-loops, so many rejections, and constantly having to alter your looks taking its toll. “You’ve NEVER given me a chance! Never! Not ONCE.” The static garbles some words while enhancing others. “I did everything right! I did everything I thought you’d like! That you’d LOVE.” You see the person before you sweating slightly, brows furrowed in concentration. Maybe he to, is stressed from all these loops and finally feeling its effects like you. “I can be anything you want! Anything you like!” The more normal form you have shifts to a more distorted, uncanny one. Neither is your true form but the most humanoid you’ve ever been; all of it has been for them. So much energy. So much time. It’s all been put into what he wants or what they may find even remotely attractive.

Finally, you settle on the more uncanny form. You’re shaking with your stress. Sweat covers you layers, forcing your clothes to stick to your heated skin. The anxiety is creeping into your voice the longer John is silent. Your tears are so close to spilling over as you choke out your desperate question. “What’s wrong with me…? Don’t you love me?”

The silence seems to stretch on. John’s own stress seems to melt away as realization dawns on them. He blinks a few times, staring at you as everything falls into place. Maybe it’s your shaking. Or it could be the fact that you just poured your entire being into your rant but a smile makes its way onto their face. It reminds you of your own in a way. There are too many teeth, pupils dilated, together with the shaking of their entire being. “I do love you…” Their voice shakes with this declaration, breathing getting heavier. You can feel your pupils dilate and warmth flood your entire body. “Of course, I love you… But not when you pretend to be something else.” Be yourself? But that isn’t what John wants… No, it is. He’s saying it right now so they must mean it. “You don’t have to alter your appearance or your personality for me… It’ll all be fake then.” His eyes are wide, smile just as big as excitement courses through them. How could you not notice how unhinged he was? They have to be just like you! You had just pushed too fast, that was it! Made them lose interest too fast! “I remember the past loops… All of them. You’ve been trying for weeks, haven’t you?”

“Every day. I’ve been looping this every single day… Hoping! Hoping you’d say yes!” Your tears are finally rolling down your cheeks. You’re getting choked up, wanting the right answer so badly. Wanting to end the endless Ạ̶̏̐ͅ ̷̟̅̆͌̄G̷͖͌̋̓ͅ ̷̼̬̯̦̌̈́͘͠O̸̤͍͙͑́̈ͅ ̶̟͕̒̽͛N̷̡͙͉̾͆̇ ̸̧̻̮͋̆̄Ÿ̸̢̰̪́̽̕ [8] you’ve had to endure to get John to just yearn for you as you do him.

“We're just going to keep meeting like this, aren't we? It's just some endless loop…” There’s a pause as they finally make a decision. “So… We may as well see what happens then.” You feel your legs give out, the stress exploding. You grab your shirt close to your chest, sobbing in happiness on your knees. A genuine smile spreads across your face. Your entire being shakes as you feel the time loop ends. Finally. You finally achieved the Correct Ending.

A hand settles on your shoulder as John crouches down in front of you. It’s tight, grounding even. Your sobs don’t stop even when they sit in front of you. When the hand leaves, you look at him. His grin is shaking, alongside his body. His eyes are glassy with unshed tears. You don’t know why but you don’t care. You latch onto the man in front of you, gasping for air but also to get as much of his smell as you can. Your nails pierce his skin, making the wounds bleed, with how tight you hold onto them. This doesn’t bother them though as he latches onto you just like you’ve done. Their nails sinking into your own skin brings no blood. Only indents are left behind. Gentle static noises surround you both as your sobbing subsides. It’s more of a gentle buzzing as you let your form slump into John’s, letting it mould itself to his. No more time-loops or needing to shift reality to get John to love you anymore. Not when you finally have it.

Mb reader got stuck in a fishing net, and Wallace was there in a right place, in the right time.

Or reader just used her voice to lure him to her, but that didn't really work, cus...u know...with this man usually nothing goes as planned (mb her charms don't really affect him as most mortals, for some reason, idk, probably after the events of COFWR his brain remained just not screwed on right), and she's confused at first, and flees, but decides to watch him from distance, because...well, nothing like that ever happened before. And after a while reader doesn't really see Wallace as a potential lunch anymore...he just...it feels like a waste to just devour him (unless😏).

And...idk what's next, I got it just that far😆sorry))

What's getting me is this could easily be something that happens to him! Wallace steers the ship through dangerous isles even though he's told NOT TO EVEN TRY SOMETHING SO INSANE but maybe it takes them to their destination faster or it's the scenic route and he loves a detour. Whichever, he takes everyone toward an unmapped area from myth and legends known as SIREN ISLAND! From afar, the cannibal mer-ladies see this cruise liner full of people as a buffet! They're ready to chow down and send the most beautiful of their clan to go drive the captain over, fast food delivery, am I right, but it doesn't go the Readers way because maybe there is a net as you suggest, or a guest thinks she's an actual woman fallen overboard, leading to Wallace and Gromit trying to save her, just for the siren to turn tail and swim back to her group because...she's a fish, soon as they see the rest of her, they'll lose their shit and escape and this sounds like such an amazing feast! Maybe even a breeding ritual since sirens are canonically all chicks and they need lonely sailors to...continue the bloodline. Ensure the siren's survival so to speak. It becomes a thing, she's trying to get Wallace to come down in an escape raft to see her or bring the cruise ship onto her island where everyone's stuck after that and are bound to fall prey to all the other sirens, leaving the safety of the liner and enter the water. Uhhh ooohh. --- OR! If you wanna be cute, Little Mermaid thing, Wallace is fishing and his boat capsizes, she saves him and keeps him safe until Gromit reaches her island to make sure he's alive! I don't care, both are perfect and I love you for your ideas!

Hello! I went to sleep while finishing GC so naturally I had dreams abt it and some random questions- would you ever consider adding character descriptions for a Trans MC? (I know this is more work for u so feel free to ignore jus curious).

Also on that note I wanna add that the naming scene did in fact make me cry, I know it’s not the internet to be trans coded but- it just struck a cord with me- jus the fact that I got to choose my name and my fathers were happy for me🥲😭🙏🏼a whole box of puffs+ gone in one sitting. First off, that is very sweet and I am loving that you dreamed about it!

I had wondered about making something of the sort, but like you said, it adds to an already complex system. My thinking when I did the character creation as it is was that, at least in this world, whoever you are - you just are. That's kinda how I see myself because I've always been in a grey area for my own identity. So, I just am. That's why I didn't enter any sort of specified option for transitioning.

I don't know if anything like the Trans descriptors will be in the game. If I did them, I'd want them to be at least meaningful. So, I won't say no, and it's something I'll take to heart when I consider the scope of the project.

You will definitely see more of Zahn's backstory even if you don't romance them. Each RO will have that sort of baggage and you will be able to "try before you buy" so to speak. I haven't decided how deep that will go or how those will change depending on if they are romanced or not. I'm considering designing it so that you would need to romance them to get the entire scope of their background, problems, and such and help them find some sort of closure during their route. Zahn will start opening up more before you know it though!

Do I think something different will happen? Yeah definitely, firstly because of that good point you brought up about Fyodor's hand, but also because I think Asagiri would do more with the story they currently have than rush it like in the anime. I feel like chapter 110.5 was meant to set suspense, letting the readers think it'll follow the anime but suddenly take a huuuuuge U-turn in something else.

Would absolutely love that actually, no matter how anxious and fearful it makes me.

Now onto the matter of Dazai being alive-

Okay jokes aside I'm seriously grasping onto the fact Dazai was able to speak a few more words after being shot point blank by Chuuya as a HINT he's not yet dead. Very, very, very badly wounded; yes. But not dead, also because I don't think (or wanna think) that Asagiri would end his character off like that.

This can be the same said with Fyodor. Him dying before we even know some of his past? The specifics of his ability? Seems very unlikely, so I'm somewhat convinced he'll be fine and won't have a helicopter accident like his anime counterpart.

Sigma, I wanna talk about him for a moment. I SINCERELY wish Asagiri is going to bring him back soon. I'm semi-believing that he just got knocked out by the overwhelming amount of info he got from Fyodor, cause if he actually did die by C&P, I reckon it'd be a more bloody scene than just his white-eyed stare in that one panel.

Chuuya? In the manga at least, I don't think he's faking the fact he's a vampire. I could believe it in the anime, but with the manga and extra details we have, I'm more inclined to think Chuuya's under the vampirism but he's like, not under its actual control. The scenes where he looked out of breath and where his dark-vampire eyes paled (and his reaction after shooting Dazai, doesn't seem very "hey I'm under mind control I have no free will" of him) have me considering that he's able to override the mind-control effects cause. Seriously tho. Chuuya has a god 24/7 inside of him. Yeah, Arahabaki is probably just a mass of energy and isn't likely to be a voice in Chuuya's head that sasses him, but years handling that sort of mental weight has got to give him an advantage.

-or so I'd like to think. I'm all hypothetical and guessing in my answers btw. Asagiri is writing such a story that so many events can happen that the story itself has its own parallel universe. I can't fathom what they have planned.

jean ohhhhhh i think she could be so interesting but theyu always go a boring love triangle route with her im so sorry jean you dont deserve anything bad thats ever happened to u... i think my favorite portrayal of jean from the movies, apocalypse and dark phoenix, even though i dont really like those movies i like that jean, in the first movies she mever really did enough then died came back died again, it was neeeeever really about her, i LOVE her in x men 97!!!!!!!! they did the best job with her there. absolutely heartbreaking fr. in evo shes fine but never gets the spotlight, i think if they had gotten to do a dark phoenix in evo it would have been so good. i think a telepath with so much power its a danger to everyone around her and has to be mentally blocked off as a child is a fascinating thing that they just never do it quite right tho, i think x men 97 forgoing that storyline in favor of the less explored comic ones was the best choice they could have made for her, i love it when her and scott have a difficult relationship and have to work with that, but i also think she should break up with him and date emma frost imagine that, i also have never liked the wolverine/jean/scott love triangle thing but i did like the love triangle in x men evo with rogue/scott/jean, but i think they did her dirty in that. i like jean having way too much responsibility and being burdened by it then deciding to screw that and blow up i think its so much fun, she deserves to explode the world as a treat
