*Falls to the ground on my back; crawling away backwards like a bad horror movie.*
*chucking random things at a figure in the distance.*
“Back the fuck up! Get away from me!” I yell.
It is Ensung. I already am poised against him. The balance of my favor weighs heavily against him.
(Not the art, you are amazing, he is just not for me!)

Aww, oh well! I understand since Eunsung is more of the submissive Yandere type. He doesn't necessarily radiate sex appeal like ✨ Karma ✨, but if you train him well (through the asks) - he'll become a lot more scarier over time. Eunsung is basically the perfect candidate for those who want to dominate and corrupt their Yandere to their fullest potential.
Unfortunately, Eunsung is a poor idol that is surrounded by bad luck, specifically - his murderous, underwater cult. They've basically been shielding him from interactions ever since he was born, which has caused him to have such a timid personality. However, not much of his fans see this 'timid' side, since he has to cover up for the cameras.
Other than that, all the fans see is a confident, overworked Eunsung. Yay!!!
Tumblr media
There will also be a LOT more side characters coming from Eunsung's side, including those that were not mentioned in his introduction. Examples of this are:
Eunsung's manager
Other members of the idol group, Coralia - U-Jin & Dak-Ho
Cult members
Karma's family (finally!) - especially Karma's 5th brother
Within this range of side characters (help), I will also be going into Eunsung's godly origins, how he, a deity, was born into the Earth so secretly. There is so much lore around Eunsung that the characters surrounding it would need another blog on their own!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And if I had to be honest, I feel terrible about the introduction, since it didn't hit the mark compared to Karma's. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to flesh him out more with your ask, Lotus Anon.

Eunsung and I are grateful!

You arrive at the airport almost an hour before the members are supposed to show up and help to offload some of the luggage that wasn’t shipped directly to the arena. There’s already a crowd that buzzes to life when the company vehicles pull up. They quickly settle back down when they see that it’s only staff onboard, but you’re a little spooked by the number of professional looking cameras that had been pointed in your direction.
When the members show up, they pile out of the vans and line up to greet the crowd, before heading towards the security check-in.
You’re impressed by how immune they are to the bright flashes, screams of their names, and having so many phones shoved in their faces. You follow at a sedated pace, not wanting to be captured in the pictures and videos, and wince a couple times when the security team has to step in and push away fans who have gotten a bit too close for comfort.
“Is it always like this?” you ask Eunsung in a low voice.
“Pretty much, I think today there are more people than usual.” He shrugs. “You’ll get used to it after a few more times. Probably when we’re in the United States then it won’t be the same, less fans but more people overall.”
You stare at the back of Chan’s head, covered both by a beanie and his hoodie, and try to imagine feeling as unbothered by the mass of bodies and cameras as he appears.
The flight to Japan is relatively unremarkable, it’s just over 2 hours which is enough for you to fall asleep, but not long enough to actually get some rest. Thankfully, Narita Airport isn’t as crowded with fans as Incheon Airport. There’s still a large group waiting at the arrival terminal, but you’re not as concerned as before.
As much as you’d love to explore the city a bit, you’ve arrived so late in the evening that there’s no time to do anything but check in at the hotel and grab a quick dinner with your team before you have to head back. You’re tired enough that you don’t really mind, intent on saving up energy to enjoy yourself for these next shows.
Luckily, tomorrow isn’t a concert day, there’s a day of buffer before Friday, the first of the three concerts in Tokyo. There are more Japanese concerts, but they’re much later on and some of them haven’t even been announced to fans yet.
You spend the first day helping get the venue set up for the concert. It takes surprisingly long to unpack anything, and you’re exhausted by the time you’re in a car on the way back to the hotel.
When you unlock the door, Chan and Hyunjin both turn to stare, looking like deer in headlights. They’re clearly recording something, Hyunjin has headphones on and is carrying a portable microphone. You back away without saying a word, and close the door quietly behind you.
You text Chan a quick apology for interrupting, then message Felix, asking if he’s busy. When all he does is send you his room number and a million exclamation marks in response, you make your way down the hallway. The boys have individual rooms, but they’re all clustered together on the same floor so it doesn’t take long before you’re standing in front of his door. You take a moment to compose yourself. You’ve been trying so hard to not bother Chan, but it seems like no matter what, you’ve found a way to be a nuisance.
You end up spending the rest of the evening sprawled over Felix’s bed as he, Han, and Minho eat their way through a variety of Japanese convenience store snacks. You try a few of them, but after a couple with strange flavours that none of you can manage to swallow, play it safe by slowly emptying a packet of fruit jellies.
Surprisingly, the first concert goes smoother than any of the Seoul dates. The Japanese staff are extremely helpful and organised, although you’re not even close to fluent in speaking Japanese.
As you’re waffling between staying up to see when Chan comes back and just going to sleep without him, your phone lights up with an incoming text.
[12:24 am - received]
Sorry, lost track of time and forgot to let you know but I’m recording something with Sungie rn
I’ll try to be back soon, but don’t wait up
Sorry
At this point, you’re not surprised, just disappointed. You had heard that the members got more free time while touring and had stupidly gotten your hopes up that it would mean Chan would take some of that time to get proper rest. You keep telling yourself that you should trust him and that he’ll actually take care of himself if he needs to, but it doesn’t stop you from worrying about his health. You know that if you’re feeling effects from not spending enough time with him, then he must be too and that scares you more than you think it should.
It’s almost like the day before went too well, because bad luck strikes in no time. A few of the managers and coordis have come down with something by the afternoon of the second concert, leaving the team dangerously short staffed. There isn't enough time to get any replacements, the only option is to divy up the responsibilities as evenly as possible.
Shortly before the start of the concert, you’re tasked with distributing the baskets of water bottles and hand towels around the edges of the stage for the boys to use as they perform. It’s nerve-wracking to peek out at the audience, you can hear their chatter from where you stand on the sidelines. Doors have already opened and many Stays are already seated, eagerly awaiting the show. You’re grateful for the mask that you had decided to put on at the last second as there are multiple people who look up as you walk on stage, a few of them even cheer as you set the little basket down near their section. You just bow to them and then quickly make your way off, sighing in relief when you are finally out of sight. You have no idea how Chan or any of the members could handle being in the spotlight with so many eyes on them.
By the end of the evening, you’re so drained from running around backstage and hauling various equipment, outfits, and accessories around. You get a couple of concerned looks from a few of the staff when a bout of dizziness forces you to put a hand on the wall for support. You wave them off and laugh, but are forced to take a minute to wait for the vertigo to recede.
Luckily, you can hear the strains of the encore music starting and know that it’s an okay time to take a short break. You make your way to the staff room without a problem and pick over the leftover food. It’s only when you start eating that you realise just how hungry you are.
“Y/n? What are you doing here?” Yonghwan walks in just as you take another bite and your cheeks flush as you have to chew quickly to swallow the food.
“Sorry,” you say sheepishly. “I didn’t have a chance to have a break for dinner until now.”
“Oh,” he falters. “I’m really sorry to ask, but do you know when you’ll be finished? We’re getting everyone ready to clean up.”
You wipe your mouth and stand up to throw away the remains of the bento box that you were eating, there isn’t much left in it anyway. The sudden movement is enough to leave you light-headed for a second, but you catch yourself with a hand on the table beside you and recover almost right away.
“I’m done!” you say brightly, relieved to see that Yonghwan is typing something on his phone and hadn’t noticed your brief lack of balance. “We can go now.”
Your late meal seemed to have done the trick, giving you enough energy to help out after the show without any problems.
On the ride back to the hotel, you fish out your phone to find a few unread messages from Chan, first letting you know that he was doing a live in Minho’s room, then heading to the gym with some of the guys. You’re oddly touched that he kept you updated and also how he’s been going out of his way to leave your shared room available for you to use since that first night, even if it’s more inconvenient.
The room is still empty when you make it back, but Chan returns when you’re halfway through your nighttime routine. You pop your head out of the bathroom to greet him and hurry through the last few steps of your skincare, but by the time you’re finished, he’s already situated himself at the desk, hunched over his laptop with a pair of headphones on. As the days in Japan have passed, he’s unearthed more and more equipment from his luggage and it’s all spread on a couple tables in your hotel room.
You bite back a sigh at the familiar sight and skirt around him to climb into bed. It’s close to 1 in the morning and you’re exhausted. The long hours you’ve been doing combined with the amount of running around required for each concert means that you’re sure you’ll pass out the second that your head hits the pillow. Already your arms and legs ache from the extra physical work that you had to do and you’re sure that you’ll be extremely sore tomorrow.
You know you’ve been running low on Charge, that it's one of the reasons why you’ve felt so worn out these days, but at the same time, you don’t want to interrupt Chan. You’re trying to respect his boundaries and honestly, you’re a bit wary of what his reaction could be if you asked him to stop for the day. Sure, he hasn’t snapped at you or raised his voice at all since that night in his studio, but you’re still hesitant to broach the subject.
The light is still on, but there’s the rhythmic sounds of Chan working and the hum of an air conditioner that are making your eyes heavier and heavier. You give in, putting your phone onto the side table and nestle into the blankets.
Suddenly your alarm is chirping in your ear. You turn it off immediately, not wanting to disturb Chan, then sit up blearily, not sure how it’s already morning.
You’re still so tired.
It feels like you haven't rested at all, even though Chan’s arm is still slung around your waist and your legs are touching. You rub the grit from your eyes and give yourself another second before getting up. Your vision whites out briefly and your muscles protest when you finally stand. When you stumble into the bathroom, you splash your face with cold water, hoping that it’ll help shock you awake.
You’re reminded of when you were a teenager and forced to pull long hours to study for the CSAT. At that time, your brother had already graduated and was well on his way to becoming a doctor. While you were proud of your brother, his successes had always increased the expectations on you. He had excelled in science and your parents had been thrilled that he was following in your abeoji’s footsteps. On the other hand, you had set your sights on majoring in business, a degree that was more manageable, but still fairly well respected.
That didn’t make things any easier, though. Throughout your schooling, your eomoni had always strictly monitored your grades and social life. She kept close tabs on your attendance at cram school, organised sessions with private tutors, and was liberal with her scoldings whenever you weren’t within the top students in your class. The pressure had been unbearable and the only thing that had gotten you through was the knowledge that making it into a good university would get you out of your family home.
You don’t know if it’s the time that has passed since then or some sort of influence from the soulmate bond, but you’ve never experienced such strong physical impacts from lack of sleep. Maybe life after university has spoiled you a bit too much. Prior to your switch to managing Stray Kids, you had gotten used to at least 6 or 7 hours of sleep each night, a far cry from when you were studying and lucky to get 5 hours.
You had been a little bit miserable all the time, but looking back, it had been a valuable experience. You had learned a lot about time management, prioritisation, and most importantly, how to ensure sleep deprivation didn’t affect your performance.
Unfortunately, there’s no miracle that occurred overnight, and when you get to the concert venue in the morning, there’s still a significant number of staff who are unwell. It’s less than ideal, but at least the day before proved that the team will at least be able to survive the night.
You end up trailing behind Eunsung, tasked with retrieving cases that contain backup microphones that were somehow lost when everything was put away after yesterday’s concert. This area backstage is poorly lit and crammed with boxes and equipment that’s all shoved to one side so that there’s just barely enough space to have a walkway. It’s not a surprise that the microphones weren’t found earlier.
The case that you’re holding is heavy, and you have to lean to one side so that your body weight can aid in keeping you balanced. Ahead of you, Eunsung is easily carrying one in each hand, while your arms are starting to tremble from exertion.
You’re suddenly overcome by another wave of dizziness, something you’re getting better at anticipating. You slow down to take a break and steady yourself, but the case that you’re holding clips the edge of some scaffolding at the same time that your foot doesn’t quite clear a bump in the ground where a bundle of cabling has been taped down. The microphones are dropped with a thud, you lurch to the side and close your eyes, bracing for impact.
You don’t even feel yourself hit the ground.
The next thing you know, you’re blinking back stars, shrinking away from a light that’s shining directly in your eyes, but a hand cradling the back of your head prevents you from moving too far.
“What?” you try to say, but your voice comes out sounding warped. Your head is pounding and feels like it’s been stuffed with cotton. The light turns off and you sigh in relief, it reduces the pain to a dull throbbing that seems to be in time with your heartbeat. Your vision is blurred and you can barely make out the face of the person that’s holding onto you. “Eunsung.”
“Oh good, you can recognise me. Do you remember your name?”
“Y/n.”
“Good. And do you remember where we are?”
“Concert,” you say. That part is easy, the music is so loud that you can feel the vibrations of the bass from where you’re lying on the ground. Even from here, there’s faint cheering that you can hear every so often.
“Do you know whose concert?”
“St- Stray… Stray Kids.” It would be embarrassing how long it takes you to recall the name of the group, but your headache makes it hard to think, let alone feel anything other than pain.
“Okay. What country are we in?”
After a moment, you finally remember, “Japan.”
“Perfect. Do you remember what happened?”
“Uhm. I was… tired. I fell.”
“Great. Now are you feeling dizzy? Nauseous?”
“Mmm. Dizzy I think.”
You crack your eyes open and when the room spins around you, immediately retch. When nothing but bile is brought up, you remember that you've hardly eaten anything today. The concert has already passed its halfway point and you don't even recall stopping for a lunch break. The increased pressure from your gagging makes the pain in your head explode and it takes everything in you to keep the nausea at bay. At your side, Eunsung takes exaggerated breaths and you force yourself to follow them, feeling a little bit better once you’re able to breathe properly again.
“Okay. Seems like you might have a concussion, but I'm hopeful that it’s only a mild one. I’m concerned about the fact that you were unconscious, but it was only a few seconds and otherwise you don’t seem that bad. I really want to get you to an actual doctor, but first let’s get you sitting upright and see how you feel then.”
Sometimes you forget that Eunsung has done extensive safety training and doubles as a first aid attendant for the team. Now, it’s obvious. He’s clinical and calm, hands steady as they support your back and neck before lifting you into a sitting position.
Even though he does it slowly, your vision swims and you start to list to the right, away from where Eunsung is crouched beside you. He’s quick to grab your shoulder and tip you back. You keep going until your forehead hits his chest and this time, he doesn’t try to correct you, just wraps his arm around you securely and lets you stay there.
“Y/n, how are you feeling now?”
“Hurts,” you say, turning your face towards Eunsung so that his body blocks out all the light. It had seemed so dim earlier, but now you can barely open your eyes without tears forming. Even that movement makes the ache in your head intensify and you let out a groan.
“Can you be more specific? Does anywhere hurt more?”
“Head.” You lift your hand and fumble, trying to pinpoint where the pain is coming from. Your fingers hit a tender spot and you immediately retract your hand, not wanting to get close to that area again. “Ow, there.”
“Good job. That’s here you hit your head, but it doesn't look like there’s any blood, which is a good sign. I’m going to get you some ice and try to get the swelling done.” At that you clutch at his shirt tightly.
“No no no, don’t go,” you say frantically.
“I- Okay. Are you still nauseous?”
“Uhm.” You take a moment to assess yourself, then confirm. “Not anymore.”
“Okay, okay. I’m going to bring you with me and we’ll get you to a better place to rest. I’m just going to lift you up and I think I saw that there was a room close to here that would be good.” It sounds like he’s talking more to himself than you, and you’re happy to stay quiet. He guides your arms to loop around his head and then gently lifts you, one arm around your back and the other under your knees. “Y/n? Is this okay?”
“Yeah,” you say faintly. “Just go.”
He takes a couple steps before you stop him, tugging at his shoulder.
“Wait! Oppa,” you say urgently.
“What?” he asks, panic leaking into his voice for the first time.
“The microphones. We need to bring them back too.”
“The- Y/n, who cares about the microphones! You just bashed your head against the side of a trunk so hard that you blacked out. You need medical attention right now!”
“But, the show,” you say meekly. “They need the microphones.”
“Yn- Okay,” Eunsung says with a sigh. He can probably tell that you’re not going to budge on this. “We’re going to bring you somewhere safe to rest. I’ll get some ice for your head. Then I’ll ask someone else to bring the microphones.”
“Mm, okay.”
He continues walking and you have to bite your lip hard to stop yourself from making any noise. Although you know he’s trying his best to be gentle, the slight jostling of each step just exacerbates your headache. It’s hard for you to track the time passing, but eventually he eases you onto a couch, reappears with ice, then collects you in his arms again to carry you to a company car.
It’s surprisingly fast getting you to see a medical professional. One of the Japanese staff accompanies you to help translate and the three of you are relieved when the doctor allows you to go home. He goes on for a while, explaining symptoms that you can expect and a recovery plan, but you tune it all out, trusting that Eunsung and the other staff member will keep track of it all. Before you know it, you’re back at the hotel where you force Eunsung to bring you back to his room.
“They said it was just a minor concussion, right?” you ask once you’re settled in bed. You feel remarkably better after having something to eat and drink and being able to spend time not moving. Your stomach has settled now that there’s food in it and your dizziness has subsided almost completely.
“Yes, luckily it’s not too serious. You had me really worried for a moment.”
“I’m sorry. This is really bad timing too. Did they say how long it’ll be until I can work again?”
"Normally, it'd be at least a couple weeks until you feel better, but with the soulmate bond? He said your recovery will go more smoothly. Could be half that, maybe even more depending on how much Charge you get."
"What if- what if I'm not getting enough Charge. It’d still just be two weeks right?” you ask, avoiding Eunsung’s gaze.
“Y/n,” he says warningly.
“I- Things have been busy. We’re both… busy,” you say weakly.
“How much less?”
“My head hurts,” you say instead.
“Y/n-”
“I’m tired. It’s been a long day. I want to sleep.” You turn so that you’re facing the wall. Moving again makes your head throb, although the painkillers that you’ve been prescribed are starting to dull the pain.
Eunsung sighs. “You can rest for now,” he says to your back. “We’ll talk tomorrow.”
You know you're going to have to move back to your room tonight, but the doctor advised you to have someone monitor your condition for the next while. Based on the past few days, you have no idea when Chan will be back, so it’s easier to just stay with Eunsung. You know how much of a hypocrite it will make you seem to have scolded Chan about resting when it turns out that you've also been neglecting your own health and you're already embarrassed enough. You don't think you can face him right now.
You were telling the truth when you said you were tired, but still sleep doesn't come easy.
Coming off stage, Chan feels great. The energy from the crowd, being able to see so many Stays, having a chance to have a lot of fun with the rest of the members, it makes all the long hours and sleepless nights worth it.
After handing off his mic and taking a final group picture, Chan searches for Y/n. He’s so happy and he wants to share this moment with her. A brief look around doesn’t yield any results, but Chan’s not concerned, he knows that even though the job is finished for him, the staff still have a lot of work to do.
He manages to catch Minyoung as she’s shoving cases of makeup into a large tub.
“Hey, just wondering if you’ve seen Y/n around? Had something I wanted to talk to her about.”
“Ah,” she says. “I haven’t seen her around, I think that something came up during the show.”
“Oh, thanks.” Chan’s mood rapidly sours, but he does his best not to show it. He checks his phone again, but there’s no new messages from Y/n. It’s odd, but Chan wants to give Y/n the benefit of the doubt and not jump to conclusions. It wouldn’t be the first time that Y/n got pulled away to deal with a different issue or was too busy to notice that her phone battery died, he reasons.
“We still have that dinner tonight, she’ll probably turn up there.”
“Right!” Chan had forgotten all about the dinner that was planned as both a celebration and a kick off for the tour. He feels a bit better knowing that attendance to the event is basically mandatory and the rest of the staff must be scrambling to get everything finished before then.
The restaurant that they head to has been fully rented out, so they don’t have to worry about being spotted. It’s crowded with staff, some being people that Chan has never even seen.
When he hears a couple of coordis sitting at an adjacent table mention ‘Y/n’ and ‘soulmate’ in the same sentence, he’s instantly on guard and focuses on what they’re saying. If it was somehow found out that Y/n is his soulmate, it would explain her sudden disappearance. They would need to contain that information fast.
“They’re just so cute together, it must be so nice to have a soulmate,” one of them sighs.
“And especially one you work with, since we’re going to be travelling so much. I heard that they left early together today,” the other says conspiratorially, resulting in a gasp from her friend. Chan's confused, but keeps listening. “I wish I could do that, I think I would be fired on the spot if I even thought about taking a break during the concert.”
“Oh! Someone mentioned that they did see Eunsung-ssi basically carrying someone out earlier, I guess it was Y/n-ssi. Lucky girl,“ the coordi says wistfully.
Eunsung? Y/n leaving early? It's not unusual for Chan to not be able to keep track of where Y/n is and he couldn’t be that obvious about asking around for her, but she’s never actually left without at least texting him before. It would explain why he still couldn’t spot her when he had glanced around the restaurant.
“Hyung.” Jeongin cuts off his train of thought. “Is everything okay?”
“Huh? Yeah,” Chan looks down to see that okonomiyaki that was in his plate has been subconsciously shredded by his chopsticks and has basically reverted back to its precooked form, just a pile of ingredients. Being on stage always requires a lot of energy and before this meal, Chan had been starving. He’s starting to regret the amount of food that he had scarfed down though, it has seemed to all consolidate into one big lump that now sits uneasy in his stomach.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, just got full all of a sudden.” He pushes away his dish, the sight of the uneaten food is enough to make him feel a little queasy.
They’re interrupted by clapping and look up to see that a cake is being brought out, fizzling sparklers and a printed image of a tour poster decorating the top. Chan joins the group to take a picture, but can only manage to swallow a couple bites of the cake before he hands it off to Jisung who happily finishes it.
When Chan gets back to the hotel, Y/n still isn't in their room yet. He checks his phone again, but there’s still no notifications from Y/n. He sends off a message, asking if everything is okay then showers. When he checks his phone again, there’s still nothing.
At that moment, Chan hears the familiar whir of the lock and he looks up at Y/n shuffles in.
"Oh, you're back already," she says, eyebrows jumping up in surprise when she notices him.
"Where else would I be?" Chan replies. Even he can tell his tone is more waspish than usual and Y/n pauses only a couple steps from the door.
"Uhm. Sorry," she says cautiously. "I just thought you might have been at the gym or something. You're usually out until later than this." Chan narrows his eyes at her response.
“We had the team dinner tonight.”
“Oh, was that today? I completely forgot.”
"And where were you?"
"I- I wasn't feeling that well. I left the concert a bit early to get some rest." Now that she mentions it, Chan can tell she’s holding her body differently, more gingerly, like any sudden movement could cause pain.
"But you weren't here, where did you go?"
"I didn't know if I was getting sick. I was concerned about passing something on to you so we found a doctor that could see me on short notice. They said everything was fine."
"Oh," Chan says, starting to feel bad now. He shouldn't have paid attention to what the coordis were insinuating. "Sorry, I just-"
"Just wanted to snap at me?"
“You didn’t text,” he says lamely.
“Sorry. I wasn't thinking straight, I forgot to let you know.”
"I guess I was just worried," Chan admits. "I couldn't find you after the concert and you weren’t at dinner, I didn't know what happened."
"Sorry,” she says again, “Things were kind of hectic. I- I didn’t know that you would notice. And I really did forget about the dinner.”
“Wait, did you go by yourself?” Chan doesn’t know if he’s asking to see if there was any truth in the overheard conversation or because he feels nervous about Y/n out in a foreign city by herself.
“No, Eunsung-oppa was with me.”
“Oh?” Chan tries to sound nonchalant. This whole conversation has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions and he’s ready to get off.
“He’s the one in our team that we go to for anything medical related. He does the first aid training and knows all the protocol for if we have to fill out paperwork. We also had one of the Japanese staff there to help translate.”
“Ah.” Chan’s an idiot. He feels like the worst person in the world. He’s so dumb for jumping to conclusions.
“Yeah.”
"As long as you're okay. Come here."
Chan opens his arms. When Y/n walks into his embrace, they both sigh in relief.
“Feel better?” Chan asks.
“Yeah, I guess I was just tired,” she says, but there’s something weird in her voice. He pulls away slightly.
“Are you sure you’re okay?”
“Yeah! Just- just had a weird day. And… I had a headache. But really, I’m fine now. I feel a lot better knowing I’m not going to get you or any of the guys sick. How was the concert?”
“It was good! Great, actually,” he says. Thinking about it brings a smile back to his face. “I know things are busy for you right now, but we’ll have to get you in the crowd for one of the nights! I want you to be able to see the show that you worked so hard on, it’d be a lot of fun.”
“I’d like that too,” Y/n says, smiling wistfully.
“I can mention it to Yonghwan, he can figure out logistics. We always have some tickets reserved in case we want to invite guests, they’re good seats. Maybe a little far back, but you’ll be able to see everything that way. One of the cities we’re doing multiple days might be best, I know the second show would probably be less busy for your team.” He stops himself when he catches Y/n trying to hide a yawn. “You must be tired, sorry I’m rambling. Go wash up, we can go to bed now.”
He releases her from their embrace and watches as she has to collect herself the second they break contact. She's obviously still not feeling well, but Chan bites his tongue instead of voicing his concern. He could see that Charging had seemed to relieve her symptoms and they’re about to sleep anyway. They’re going home tomorrow, but don’t have to leave until the afternoon so Chan’s looking forward to finally getting something close to a full night of rest.
Usually at airports, Chan tries to tune out all his surroundings. He’s aware of the occasional sasaeng that gets tickets to follow them into the departure area or even onto their flight, but knows better than to give them any attention. Today, he happens to sit right beside the two coordis that he heard gossiping last night. Trying to be casual, he turns off his music and slides off his headphones so that he can better hear what they're saying.
"-so glad to be heading back home. It feels like it's been forever since I've seen my boyfriend." He catches one of them saying.
"Ugh, at least you have a boyfriend. I haven't been on a good date in months!"
"Maybe you can find one at work too. Didn't Y/n-ssi and Eunsung-ssi meet at the company?"
"You're like, obsessed with them. I swear, one of these days they're going to find out you keep talking about them."
"Oh come on, if they didn't want people to talk then they wouldn't be so obvious about it. Look at the two of them now, you can’t say that they're doing a very good job of hiding that they're soulmates."
Last night proved why Chan shouldn’t give weight to any of their comments, but still Chan looks up from where he’s been pretending to read something on his phone. Eunsung and Y/n are sitting shoulder to shoulder, laughing at something on one of their phones. Something curdles in Chan’s stomach as he watches them.
“It doesn’t help that Eunsung-ssi is so handsome. I’m sure he could have been an idol or at least a model with those looks if he wanted to. I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off him if I were Y/n-ssi either.” The coordis both giggle at that.
Eunsung is tall, at least 180 cm, with broad shoulders, perfect double eyelids, and a stupidly symmetrical face. His hair seems to always fall in artful waves over his forehead and when he smiles, it reveals his even and bright white teeth. It’s true that he looks more like a stereotypical idol than Chan does, even after hair and makeup have transformed him into a different person. Chan doesn’t notice that he’s glaring until Seungmin nudges him gently.
“Hyung, any reason you’re practically burning a hole in the side of Y/n-noona’s head?”
“Huh? Y/n, no- I- just-” The pair laughs again, Y/n tilting off to the side as she closes her eyes. Eunsung reaches out to steady her with a hand to the shoulder and doesn’t remove it. Instead, he uses the contact to pull her closer so that she can lean against him.
Chan forgets what he was saying. Seungmin eyes him knowingly. For once, he doesn’t make any comment.

Hello!
You did "How They Would React When You Received A Sexual Text From An Unknown Number." Right?
Can you do the same for Jake and Jaeha and Eunsung, if you can? Thank you! <3

Jake Kim:
TW: Maybe yandere Jake?
Jake was muttering underneath his breath as [Name] phone was laid on the table, they weren't home and had received a text from an unknown number.
But what infuriated Jake the most is that were they were asking a nude photo of them, wanting [Name] to send to them.
Then a moment later, Lineman entered the room. Worried after seeing Jake distressed state. "Is something wrong Jake?" He asked as the male looked at him.
"No..."
Lineman saw the text and was in shocked, that someone and the audacity to ask them that, [Name] was the boss partner for god sake!
"Boss?"
Jake looked at him with danger lurking in his eyes. "What?" Lineman gulped but straighten himself.
"Should we do something about this person, boss? We can beat him up."
Jake sighed, he doesn't know how though. "Do you have any suggestions?" Lineman sat down. "Well..."
Lineman had started to lay out suggestions on what they can do as Jake listened, he then thought of a plan as they were going to teach the guy a liessoon.
-
[Name] came back home with a tired look as Jake greeted them with a hug and a kiss.
"Welcome back honey." He kissed their forehead as [Name] relaxed into his touch. "Thank you, and I completely forgot about my phone.." They leaned away as Jake followed her behind.
"Yeah, it's just by the table."
Jake felt incredibly happy, the sound of that guys scream was the best thing that could ever happened in his entire life. That was his fault for asking a nude photo of you.
"You seem happy."
"Yeah, something... good happened."
Tumblr media
Eunsung Han:
"Eunsung!"
"Babe."
He opened his arms as they crashed right into wrapping each other's body. "Do you need something?" He asked while caressing their hair, they didn't answer which made him worried but got even more worried after feeling [Name] shake.
"[Name]? Honey?"
"Eunsung... I don't know what to do..." They pulled away making Eunsung see the tears streaming down their face, it alerted Eunsung.
"What? Did something happened? Did someone crossed with you?" Eunsung held their shoulders, [Name] showed their phone to him as he looked over the contents.
He swore he saw red, the unknown number asking for a nude photo and [Name] refusing and asking them to not message them which only made the person got mad and started to threaten them.
It made [Name] scared and even more when the person sent a picture of their house, Eunsung gritted his teeth but he calmed himself down as he knew his lover needed comfort at the moment.
He turned off the device and hugged them. "It's alright... shh. It's going to be alright." He mumured as they hid their face against his chest.
-
"You bastard."
Another kicked was sent into the male body as a blood sported of his mouth, Eunsung glared at him and stomped on their head. and leaned down.
"Oi, it was a fucking mistake for you to threaten my partner, how dare you scare them."
"L-Look.... II'm so-sorry..i would-wouldn't have done that if I-I had known!"
"So, you are saying that if it was someone else, you would continue to harrass them? You bastard."
"W-Wait no! AGGHHH!"
Eunsung sent another kicked to his stomach, he then grabbed his hair. "Hope you have enough time, for another beating."
Tumblr media
Jaeha Han:
"This person is pretty stupid.."
Jaeha said while looking at [Name] phone while they slept beside him, he chuckled as he had already thought of a plan. He looked at his partner adn kissed their forehead.
"I won't let anyone disrespect you."
-
"So... you done it?"
He nodded. "Yup, we found the man and managed to threaten him. It was difficult but managed to get it through his skull." Jaeha smiled.
"Good, good."
"Jaeha!"
He looked and saw them walking towards him. "What is it?" They plopped down next to him and kissed him in the cheek. "You aren't busy, are you?" Jaeha shook his head.
"Nope."
"Let's go on a date! I saw that a new cafe opened recently."
"Alright."

Hey, can you write a headcanon about the trio(dowan, eunsung and sunjae) together, please❤️.
RQ Trio in a poly relationship with reader
Uhh i wasnt sure if you meant together like three povs in one headcanon or like a poly relationship, so I'll just combine that :3
btw sorry for the late reply, had this sitting in my drafts for a while
Choi Sunjae
He's the one that suggests a poly because both of you guys have wandering eyes tbh
After you guys all get together, he definitely dotes on you the most as a way of asserting his dominance around the two other guys
I think he does have the most money, and spoils you lavishly. Your alone dates consist of candle-lit dinners and shopping sprees. Sometimes whisks you off to another country without telling the others, he and Eunsung fight it out while Dowan fusses over you.
When he picks group dates, he makes you guys go to amusement parks together (duh) and idk why but he would also take you guys to one of those fancy winter cabins with hot springs.
Very careless. Lost both you and Dowan multiple times due to his bad habit of wandering around. Cannot lose Eusung. That would be the other way around.
Confidence MAX. Will make dirty jokes and will definitely slap your ass. Does it in front of everyone else and makes a big show of it.
Also just as something extra: his hair is dead. So dead. Teach him how to use conditioner. Takes the least time showering out of everyone.
Loves it when you make him food. Likes it even better if you bake. Maybe you guys can make cookies together while you scream at him for making a mess. He likes you when you're feisty
Doesn't know how to do laundry. Also his room is really messy. Plays games until 2 in the morning and you don't know how he still looks so good. Sometimes has you sleep in his lap while the other two are stressing over where you went for the past 3 hours.
His stereotype: making you wear outfits that he picks for you and carrying all your shopping bags like trophies
Han Eunsung
Second person to get roped into this mess
Sunjae caught you checking him out and he was like, why tf not (my bi king)
At first Eunsung was a little hesitant to show affection to the both of you, but he eventually eases into it and becomes the mom of the group :3
Eunsung gives me home-maker vibes, so I think he would cook you a nice meal and maybe take you on small picnics as a date.
Absolutely holds grudges towards everyone but you. If he's beefing with Sunjae he'll start begging you for attention by constantly clinging to you and nudging his head against every part of your body. You don't throw him off like you do with Sunjae cause Eunsung is babie, and that kind of pisses Sunjae off lol.
You do his tie for formal events and pretend like you guys are one of those film couples. Vows he'll make your future exactly like the movies and goes to kiss you before you guys get interrupted by Sunjae. As a heads up, EVERY moment where you and Eunsung set the mood will get ruined by Sunjae.
When he picks group dates, I think he'd want something relaxing and peaceful. Most fond of stay-home dates, but if you were to make him pick somewhere outside it would be a beach date. Refuses to wear swimming trunks by itself.
His stereotype: Classic classy couple look. Unabashedly wearing your pink fluffy purse without question when you ask him to hold it.
Ha Dowan
Third person (and second person to get roped into this by Sunjae)
Second darling in the group after you
Sunjae caught Dowan this time (thank goodness) staring too intensely at your chest, and since he saw you and Eunsung also sharing his interest, you guys gained a new member
Puppy all the way. Is kind of scared of both Eunsung and Sunjae, so he sticks behind you all the time. He's your baby
Too scared to ask for physical affection, so Sunjae teases him and tells everyone else by yelling it out loud in the living room. Max cuddles afterwards
Such a polite guy, doesn't know where to look when all of you guys go out to the gym together. I headcanon him as a titties guy, so better get those soaked tanks in
Doesn't have a preference and never picks your separate/group dates. Follows you around anywhere you want to go, but he doesn't mind checking out the aquarium or local fair. Especially likes it when you feed him carnival treats, he secretly likes showing you off
Talk to him if you want someone who actually comforts you. The moment you're upset, Sunjae will immediately be gone to murder the man, and Eunsung will give you a kiss on the forehead before following Sunjae to murder that man. Dowan will stay and hold you when you cry. Give him a reward later
His stereotype: literally thinks you're the most perfect person ever. Super gullible and always falls prey to your tiktok pranks because he doesn't want to think of the possibility of you not loving him

Have you ever thought about red flag uke? Sure, it's easy to find red flag seme, but the uke.... Do you have any BL recs about red flag uke?
Also, can I ask BL recs that kinda remind you of Bokuto x Akashi from Haikyuu? Where one is oblivious, loveable, straight forward person and the other is quite, serious but always looking after the other?
Sorry for this random ask, thanks if you want to answer.....
Hi! It really is easier to find red flag seme (makes sense since the word means “to attack” or “to be on the offence”) but the way authors/ artists depict uke characters have been changing as well ~ I currently don’t have access to my computer, so I’ll just list the titles I have in mind and update if I have any additions next week (ish). Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Research is serious business, you guys.
What people consider a “red flag” differs to be honest, some people draw the line at cheating while others may or may not excuse murder depending on the situation. Some want the character to be sweet to their partner but be toxic otherwise, while others want the relationship itself to be toxic. I don’t know which case you feel drawn to, so I’ll be going with my gut (again) lol
Checkmate (Tan): He’s manipulative! He’s petty! Everything you need in a toxic uke, Soohyun has it. And interestingly, Eunsung is not exactly put off by it. I was asked whether I know another title like Checkmate and I honestly don’t. I have reviewed it in the past (now the main story is completed and side stories are being released) so if you want more info, I suggest you check it out.
Wonna Do It? (Cho Sangduck): Another title I mentioned in the answe I linked above. Can be found in Lezhin’s library. This is a very short, unhinged story that I need continuation of immediately!
Liveta (muzi): I have briefly read this one and liked it, you might want to check it out on Lezhin.
Mad Place (Junah): Tbh I was very enthusiastic going into this series and read 30+ chapters but my interest fizzled out. The uke in this title is scheming something (I didn’t stick around long enough to find out) and you can consider him a tad manipulative. There’s crime and investigation and you might find it more intriguing than me! On Lezhin.
Pornographer + Pornographer Playback + Mood Indigo (Maki Marukido): All three are in Manga Planet’s (Futekiya) library. The main character Kijima is an author, and while Pornographer (Playback is the continuation) focuses on him and Haruhiko, Mood Indigo is Kijima becoming an author and his relationship with his editor. I suggest you read Pornographer first and then read Mood Indigo for better context! Kijima will frustrate you to the max skcjdnjc.
A Lotus Flower In the Mud (Tamekou): This is not just a red flag uke but a red flag all over fkfnfj. Be mindful of the tags before you go in!
The King of Home Cooking (Lee Hyun-joo): The uke in this is one of the most frustrating characters I’ve ever read, he’s so unlikable and remains that way until the very end and that’s kinda why I like this series xD It has a very interesting theme as well, highly suggested! Can be read on Tappytoon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A s for titles similar to BokuAka. I have a previous list that would kind of fit what you’re looking for (except the first and the last one). Here’s another list with puppy seme x cool(-ish) uke types.
That’s all I have for now! Hope you like the recommendations.

Shownu, Jung Taekwoon, Go Eunsung's Anatole | THE SINGLE 🔗
We met Shownu, Jung Taekwoon, and Go Eunsung, who played the fatally attractive Anatole in the musical . This time, the three Anatole became each other’s ‘love enemies’.
BY Editor Jang Eun-ji | 2024.04.20
Tumblr media Tumblr media
website translation and original undercut, edited by me to be easier to read
Both the shirt and pants are by Jiyong Kim.
Appearing as Anatole in the musical . Please briefly introduce what the musical is.
Shownu: This is a song-through musical inspired by the 70 pages of Volume 2, Chapter 5 of Tolstoy's War and Peace. It premiered in Korea in 2021, and this is its re-run.
Taekwoon: The fact that it is a full-length musical with almost no dialogue and only singing may be of interest, but is an immersive performance in which there is no distinction between the stage and the audience, and the audience's participation is so high that they are part of the work. It's even more special in that respect.
Jung Taekwoon also described the character Anatol as ‘stupid’ on Seo In-guk’s YouTube channel.
translation note : 병맛 [ 'internet slang' term derived from the phrase "병신 같은 맛" which itself is not a legit phrase as well. Literal translation would be "taste of stupidity" English phrase would be something like "fcked up".]
Taekwoon: In the play, Anatole is a character who promises love to another woman named Natasha, leaving her spouse behind. Hedonistic narcissist. She could be described as a ‘golden lover,’ but she seems to be a person who just sees things. The reason she doesn't keep taking off her wedding ring is because she doesn't take it seriously. In my view, I don't think Anatole made any definitions of right and wrong, regardless of social norms or opinions. When I was researching the character of Anatole, I thought of a person around me. A person who makes you click your tongue. (Laughs)
Tumblr media
Inner tee is Coperni, jacket is Bonbom, pants are Dsquared, shoes are Balenciaga.
Since each person's interpretation of Anatole was different, I think the way he expressed it would have been slightly different. How did you apply and express that interpretation to your body?
Taekwoon: I tried to make a difference in Natasha's attitude towards people other than Natasha. Don’t we also put on a slightly different appearance than usual in front of the people we want to appeal to? In reality, he was an ordinary man, but when dealing with Natasha, he tried to show his appeal through exaggerated speech and a sloppy gait.
Eunsung: The background of the musical is Russia, which is famous for ballet, and I thought it would be good if people would think of a ballerino when they see Anatole's gait and posture. The appearance of lowering the shoulder blades and lifting the chest tightly, as if wearing a corset. From the first appearance, rather than showing a light appearance as if it will fly away, it has an elegant and restrained appearance that is easy to fall in love with, and gradually reveals its foundation as it progresses. I thought that would add tension to the play and paradoxically make the character more attractive.
Tumblr media
Top, pants, and scarf are all from Acne Studio.
I think the singing style was different from usual and it was also different from how I prepared for the performance.
Shownu: Of course, it’s my first time, so there are difficulties and pressure. But what I needed was not how difficult you thought it was. If you think it's difficult, you can't start anything. My personality itself is like that. So I didn't even think about it being difficult. I sang it the way I felt without trying to change my singing style. I had a hectic day asking questions, learning, and practicing with my seniors and brothers. I'm still in a daze. I don't think I've become comfortable enough to recognize that it's difficult. (Laughs)
What did you think after your first performance?
Shownu: Are you hungry? Ah, I meant it to be funny, but it wasn't very funny. sorry.
Taekwoon: I’m not saying that for nothing. Shownu usually takes really good care of himself. To show off my good side, I don't eat much or eat snacks. After you run around and play passionately on stage, only then do you feel at ease and feel hungry. Among the outstanding musical actors, there is not a single one who lives like a hedonist. Most live like practitioners or athletes, training to develop their skills to the highest level their bodies will allow. Due to the nature of the job, self-management is very important, and Shownu's qualities are already visible.
Tumblr media
Eunsung T-shirt is Althirteen, jacket is Bally, pants are Levi’s, shoes are SGWL. Taekwoon jacket is Golden Goose, pants are Acne Studio, innerwear is Calvin Klein Underwear, and shoes are Yowi. Shownu's jacket is from the stylist's collection, pants are Levi's, gloves are Dolce & Gabbana, and shoes are SGWL.
In the play, all three play the same character, but in today's pictorial, the concept was based on the assumption that they are three men who love the same woman at the same time. If you are each other's romantic enemy, what do you think is the charm of the other person that keeps you in check the most?
Shownu: Eunsung is a mood maker and, above all, he has great drive. Eunsung is always the one who gathers us all at once and makes reservations for places. He is handsome and sexy to men. Taekwoon is really gentle, warm and delicate. He really cares about the people around him. But it's sexy.
Eunsung: Shownu is really attractive in appearance. She doesn't talk much and only says what to say. He has a sweet personality, but he also has a good body, and when the opposite sex sees him, he seems to burst out laughing just by standing still.
Shownu: Hyung, it’s all a meticulous strategy. (Laughs)
Eunsung: But actually, that’s the worst. They disarm people and take no responsibility.
I would like to ask one last question. For the audience coming to see , what are the three actors' favorite parts?
Taekwoon: ‘Balaga’. It's the hardest, and I feel the most alive.
Shownu: I also ‘Balaga’. It is the most passionate and hot. When performing that song, the actors and the audience truly become one and everyone is covered in sweat.
Eunsung: Of course, it’s ‘Balaga’. I can boldly say that Balaga is the song that represents the identity of . To add a little lie, there was a time when I went into the dressing room after Balaga and wrung out my sweaty shoes with both hands. (Laughs) It's that much fun, so hurry up and reserve your tickets. I really want you to experience it.

Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media

anya genuinely has good intentions 90% of the time, her biggest problem is getting them across correctly after leading such a spoiled life. she is exceptionally generous, never knowing to want for anything herself, she never allows those closest to her to want for anything either. however, this can sometimes get under people's skin when they view it as pity or think that she sees them as a charity case (which, honestly, she does sometimes). she is very straightforward, saying what she means and meaning what she says. she is also the first to defend her own character or that of her friends should anyone try and start something with her or someone she cares about. she is never afraid to ask for something she wants and will absolutely advocate for others should they need her confidence. simultaneously, she is never one to accept a “no” easily, and is exceptionally good at using charms or logic to negotiate out of any rejection. she makes a great hype woman because she tends to be incredibly objective, but if she doesn’t think something is working, she will try her best to offer solutions for improvement. she can be a bit of a try hard sometimes, but she really just takes her passions seriously, whether it be her career, talents, or relationships.

anya is the princess of kpop, truly. she is rich, beautiful, talented, and charming, someone who is hard to outmatch in the public arena. she is the most popular member of the group, never failing to make waves with a simple instagram post. she is constantly in some deal or campaign with luxury brands, however her ambassadorship with yves saint laurent is currently her longest running and arguably most iconic. she is also widely known for having several high profile dating scandals, from exo’s kai to jean arnault. her princess role is consistent within the group, however it is more of a lighthearted joke with her members and fans than how seriously the press and the public tend to take it. she attended private school in england for her entire education, so her english speaking voice has a very posh british accent that most fans adore, however it adds to the whole princess bit. her members love to poke fun at her by copying her accent or certain words she uses, but it is always in good fun. she is not one to get her hands dirty if she can help it, and she often catches teasing for that as well. in games and challenges they do on variety shows, she will go all in for puzzles or mental battles but as soon as it’s something physical, the rest of her members do not want her on their team.
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥   history
na eunhye is the eldest daughter to the youngest son of a powerful chaebol family. she was never very close to her immediate family, her father largely absent, her mother far too overbearing, and her little brother off in his own world, especially during the school year she spent off in england at school. but the one person in her family she worshipped more than anything was always her grandmother. her father’s mother, hong soonhee, was the matriarch of the family and lived in a huge mansion in the mountains outside seoul, where anya spent her summers more often than not. being the youngest girl of the family, she was always soonhee’s favorite. when she had her grandmother in her corner, anya never even need ask for anything she wanted.
her mother, who honestly married into the family for he connection to the money, was almost jealous of the relationship she had with soonhee. anya’s grandmother never liked her mother and had a knack for disagreeing with her on most things. when anya announced that she decided she wanted to pursue singing, her mother was absolutely against it. although she had taken ballet and piano lessons all her life, and had a rather beautiful voice, her mother believed it to be a very improper profession and entirely useless in life. but her grandmother loved to hear her sing, constantly asking her to give her little concerts every time she visited her house. although she wouldn’t normally agree with the idol life as a career, she simply wanted her favorite granddaughter to be happy and if performing did that, then she would back it 100%. especially if her mother was particularly against it.
she was accepted into both sm and yg entertainment, and was struggling to pick between the two when the small, newly rebuilt rainbow entertainment offered her a spot in their newest lineup that was set to debut in less than a year. her grandmother was hesitant, knowing that sm and yg would both provide the best shot at fame for her granddaughter, but anya knew she could train for years and years at those companies and never debut. she wanted her shot at fame as quick as possible, and took the leap with rbe. it was hard getting along with the other girls at first, some trainees treating her as if she had bought her way into the lineup, but going through the trials and tribulations of debut together brought them all that much closer.

'He's a good man.' is one of the things that lives rent free in my mind. It shows Hae-in strong mind and character so well. It also shows how much she loves him.
It's been 2 years since they've been rocky now. (I'm not justifying Haein but at this point for what ever reasons) He hasn't been paying due attention to her. They've separated YET when asked about him she immediately without hesitation says 'He's a good man.' That's one hell of a compliment if you ask me.
Bonus: Eunsung can BS all about her rambling or going on for too long (what she said there was beautiful as well) but this line right here is crisp, to the point and so so beautiful.

What kind of person is your husband? You were always cold and suspicious of others. So I was curious about the person you chose to marry. It feels like you're hoping I'd bad-mouth him. But you're wrong. He's a good man. You saw how he jumped in to save me in that dangerous moment. You're wrong. I saw him hesitating. He hesitated to save you.

hwan/seungmi is kind of interesting, in a way, bc it's like... i never really bought that they were genuinely attracted to each other -- might be a fault of the actors, idk, might be a fault that they never kissed -- but it was always. to me, hwan did care about seungmi, she was this kid who he felt sorry for and looked out for, and he wanted to protect, even when he was bratty and rotten hearted. and seungmi, she saw as the one person who was kind and warm to her, and she craved that as her anchor. they are security and safety to each other.
and maybe it's that the sparks are gone, but they still try to look out for each other. hwan is loyal enough to not cheat on seungmi with eunsung, even tho seungmi does secretly know that hwan likes eunsung, he's not going to do anything. and seungmi lies lies and lies like her mom, even tho guilt twists her up inside.
i just. idk. hwan asks early on why do you like me, to a drunken seungmi, and instead of kissing him, she just hugs him.
like everyone says they're dating, and seungmi says that if hwan is poor that doesn't matter to her -- which i believe of her, tbh, her mother has a few choice things to say about that, i know, but seungmi is dedicated, despite her conflicts -- and they just. they're this weird nebulous relationship that they do gain comfort from each other and do care for each other.
but seungmi gets chastised constantly that she didn't 'secure' hwan, and i think that means become fiances/married, and i'm just like. i'm not sure that was ever in the cards for them.
i'm not sure romantic is quite it, what they have, for me.

I really can't get over White Christmas episode 2 though. Like, I've seen it three times and it's not even my favorite episode of the show but its little mini mystery with Kang Mireu seeking out who framed him for breaking a statue and got him expelled is so great. Like:
-Lower stakes than the other mysteries of the show, but for Kang Mireu (and Yoon Su, the eventual culprit), it's so intensely personal. One is getting kicked out of the school, and the other is being trapped IN the school (in a different way from the snowed-in dilemma, lols, though there are parallels) and they're both so upset that it's hard to say who's been hurt more by these events.
-Yoon Su, a mostly harmless dude in the middle of a mental breakdown, quietly pulled off a vicious revenge scheme. You wouldn't expect it of him! And when he's discovered, he has NO APOLOGIES and proceeds to give a villainous "I was completely justified" monologue.
-Kang Mireu is such a mix of contradictions. He comes across at first as violent and irrational, ready to beat up anyone involved in framing him, but he's also really sneaky and clever, and by the end of the episode, you see that he can be compassionate as well. When he's heard Yoon Su out, he apologizes and just leaves, without attempting to either explain himself (he's never done anything to harm Yoon Su on purpose!) or ask Yoon Su to reveal the truth about the frame job. Of course Mooyul and Jaekyu follow up on that, but for Mireu, the idea that he's really hurt someone completely sidetracks him from his own revenge scheme. He's one of the first characters to have his moral character tested, and you discover that, while many characters in this show look nice or at least harmless but can get dangerous when pushed, Mireu looks dangerous.... and when pushed, it turns out he's a genuinely good person??!
(This show felt the need to devote almost a whole episode just to introducing and developing Kang Mireu and you know what, they were right. This babe.)
Tumblr media
-Of course there's also other stuff going on, other characters being developed. The teacher shows a darker side (and also an amount of trust in Mooyul as a good influence that's just begging to be challenged). The letters are further investigated. Yoon Eunsung and Park Mooyul has some tense conversations. Yang Kangmo makes a remark that he couldn't possibly stop a guy from recklessly bungee jumping off a roof bc he's "just a camera". It's all very intriguing.
And in the midst of all this, Kang Mireu still finds the time to sneak into Park Mooyul's bedroom and flirt with him. This is a show (and a character) with good priorities.

Tumblr media
It feels like you’ve barely fallen asleep by the time that your alarm wakes you. The hum of Charge between you and Chan is faint through the layers of clothing that you wear. For once, it doesn’t bring you any comfort. Although the two of you had maintained physical contact throughout the night, it feels like you’re miles away compared to the previous nights that you’ve spent curled around each other. You have no idea when he had finally gotten back to the dorms even though you had a fitful sleep.
The second you extricate yourself from the sheets and break contact from Chan, your stomach drops. Exhaustion seeps into you and you have to steady yourself on your bedside table to avoid losing your balance. In his sleep, Chan shifts, rolling towards the warm spot where you were previously lying, but doesn’t wake up. Remembering what happened last night makes things worse, so you do your best to compartmentalise it so that you can focus on the day ahead. One day with less sleep and less Charge can't hurt you, you think to yourself.
When you check the time on your phone, you realise that you must have slept through your first alarm and you’re going to be late if you don’t leave in 15 minutes. The adrenaline is enough to fully wake you up and you stumble to the bathroom in the dark. Somehow, after getting ready as fast as you can without waking anybody, you make it to the company in time. You’re lucky that the early hours mean that transiting was smoother than usual and you didn’t have to fight your way onto the bus.
You unpack your things at your desk and head down to the room that was booked for the interviews planned for the day. The bright studio lighting that has already been set up exacerbates a pounding in your head that you hadn’t noticed before, but you ignore it to greet the staff that are already there.
When Eunsung enters the room and sees you, concern immediately creeps into his expression. He sidles up to you and bumps your shoulder with his.
“Rough night?”
You lean in close to him and whisper as if sharing a secret, "stayed up late rewatching a drama."
"Ah," Eunsung nods, immediately accepting your lie at face value. "Which one?"
"Moonlight Lovers. Last few episodes."
"Say no more. I've never been able to watch that without shedding a tear." You both laugh at that, knowing Eunsung could cry at a sad commercial. You don't know if he believes your story, but you're just grateful that he's playing along that nothing is wrong. He knows better than to prod too much, it’s a sure way to get you to instead close down even more.
"Is it really that obvious?" you ask quietly, fingers reaching up to poke the eye bags that you had hastily covered up this morning. You’re pretty sure that last night you had done a decent enough job making sure that your eyes wouldn’t be swollen today, but hadn’t had a chance to look at it carefully. Since you had barely enough time to get ready, you had hoped that you might be able to touch up your makeup more before starting work, but had been swept away in preparations the second you had arrived.
"No, I just know you too well." He laughs when you swat his shoulder half-heartedly.
The boys file into the room right after you’re finishing getting everything ready, but before you have a chance to leave the room. You smile and greet them with the rest of the staff, but studiously avoid looking at Chan. Just the brief glance when he had first walked in had stung. He looked… normal. Maybe a bit tired, but he always looked tired and well, that was what had gotten you into this mess in the first place.
Maybe to him, last night was just another night and you were being too sensitive. But his harsh words had reopened a wound in you that you thought had long scarred over. Somehow, it hurt even more thinking that he was totally unaffected.
You quickly try to pack up everything you need, handing out a timeline of the day to the team who are helping film that outlined which interview is for which company, what props, if any, are required, and whether or not a company representative would be present to help facilitate the interview. You make sure Eunsung has a copy of all the questions that Stray Kids are supposed to be asked and which are off limits, both in English and Korean. Almost all of the members are familiar enough with English that the interviews go smoothly without any other help, but a lot of the staff aren’t as fluent. You have a quick chat with the company translator and make sure she’s also comfortable with the schedule and what’s expected of her.
After making sure that everything on your checklist has been completed, you finally grab your things and leave, almost colliding with Felix in the hallway.
“Oh, you’re not staying, Y/n?” He asks, grabbing onto your arms to steady both of you. He smiles at you and you return it but look away quickly, not wanting to meet his eyes, and shrug off his hands.
“Sorry, I have some meetings that I can’t miss this morning. I hope the interviews go well Felix-ssi!” you call as you head to the elevator. When you glance back, his smile has faltered and he’s still standing in the hallway, looking a bit lost.
You’re not sure if he’s more surprised that you’re not going to be attending the schedule or your sudden return to addressing him formally. You had done your best to keep things more professional while at the company, but it had been surprisingly difficult, especially when most other managers also addressed the members more casually.
You feel a bit guilty, but last night had served as an important reminder that no matter how close you seemed or felt, you were still just staff. This time, you won't forget your place.
When you finally get back to your desk and open up your laptop after finishing all your meetings for the morning, you despair at the number of emails that have piled up in your absence. You start to sift through them, filing away the ones that don’t require any response. It’s probably a good thing that you’re not in a hurry to see Chan or any of the members, there’s a lot of work that you have to do in the next few days and not enough time to be distracted by attending schedules.
Your phone pings and you see a message from Eunsung waiting.
[12:14 pm - received]
lunch?
Huh, you hadn’t even realised it was already noon. Even though you hadn’t had a chance to eat this morning, you still don’t have much of an appetite. So far, tea has been enough to sustain you as well as provide the much needed caffeine after your late night. You’d had enough foresight to throw a protein bar into your bag before you left, but it still sits untouched on the side of your desk. You know that you should probably eat to help make up for the Charge that you missed last night, but you can't bring yourself to take a bite. Just looking at the bar is enough to make you nauseous so there's no way that you'd be able to stomach any other food.
[12:15 pm - sent]
sorry. have a mountain of work to do so i don’t have time today

:((((((((
Amused, you lock and put away your phone and focus on your work. You really are scrambling to finish everything and probably wouldn't have taken a break even in normal circumstances.
Only 15 minutes have passed before there’s a knock at the door. Nobody else is using this work area today and you’ve learned over the years that Eunsung is one of the most persistent people you know.
“Oppa,” you whine, not bothering to look away from your screen. “I told you I didn’t need anything for lunch.”
“Uhm.” Your neck hurts with the speed that you whip your head around to look. Chan’s standing halfway through the open door, looking out of his depth.
He’s still in his outfit for the press junket, hair carefully styled and makeup immaculate. He looks like a different person. Sometimes you forget that the bare-faced, curly-haired boy in shorts and a hoodie that you’re used to is the same as the polished idol that is presented in front of the camera. He seems so far away, even though he’s right in front of you.
“Sorry, I thought you were Eunsung-oppa. He was… teasing me earlier,” you explain, embarrassed.
"Ah," he says. "You didn't eat yet?"
“Not yet, I’ll get something later,” you lie. “I have a lot of work to do.”
"Oh, okay. We have a break right now. I wanted to talk." He scratches the back of his neck awkwardly. “About… you know. Yesterday.”
“It’s fine,” you say quickly, forcing yourself to smile. You try to stay concentrated on the email that you have to send, but it’s hard enough to think of the right English words to use when you're alone. Instead, you stare at the blinking text cursor, already wanting this conversation to be over. Maybe it was better when you thought he didn’t care about what he had said to you.
“No, it’s not fine. I shouldn’t have said all those things. I was too harsh. I hurt you. I'm sorry,” he insists, stepping closer.
You finally turn to look back at him, but still can't get yourself to look him in the eye, instead focusing on the cut of his jaw. His hair has grown long enough that curls are starting to gather below his ear even after styling. You wonder how long it will be until the stylists are able to wrestle him away from his laptop and into a chair to cut it again.
“Okay. It’s not fine,” you concede. “But I forgive you. I understand that you felt frustrated. I can tell that you’ve been wanting to talk for a while and I’m glad that I know how you feel now. The delivery was just… poor, but it’s really not a big deal.”
That's not a lie, but your fingers start to curl into your palm anyway, nails digging into the flesh there. The tiny pricks of pain ground you, not stopping the hurt that came from Chan's words from echoing in your head like they had been the whole day, but distracting you from it.
I don’t need you bringing me food. I don’t need you reminding me about schedules. And I definitely don’t need or want you telling me when I should be resting.
It stung, especially knowing what he really meant when he said that.
I don't need you.
Looking back, you could see how you were acting overbearing. Yes, there was a soulmate bond connecting you two, but really that didn’t give you permission to act in such a familiar way. More than anything else he had mentioned, it had left a bitter taste in your mouth that he compared you to your eomoni when he now had the insight that your relationship with her had caused you so much pain. It hurt even more to think that maybe that was the reason he had mentioned her, that you had been that much of a burden.
No matter what he argues now, there was truth in what he said in the heat of the moment, frustration and lack of sleep bringing forth his honest thoughts.
I’m good now! I’m really good now. I was also good when you were not here. When you were not my soulmate.
You had never really considered what things would be like if you weren’t soulmates, there had been no point in it. Well, you hadn’t considered it until yesterday. After half an hour of trying to sleep with no sign of Chan returning, you had rolled onto your side and reached for your phone. With shaky fingers, you had pulled up Naver and typed in 'can you break a soulmate bond.'
The results had confirmed what you thought. There was no evidence of a bond being broken before. Of course, it was possible for soulmates to live apart from each other for extended periods of time. It just required more food, more water, more rest for both people in order to compensate. That seemed even more inconvenient than the current situation and you knew it would never work for you and Chan.
This was the next best solution. You promised yourself that he wouldn't have to pretend that he wanted you around anymore. You'd keep your distance, stay professional, just like you had done before your First Touch.
“It’s not how I feel, I was just-” Chan protests.
“Chan-ssi,” you interrupt gently, hiding your feelings by reverting back to the formal speech that you had used when you first met. He blinks in surprise. “I don’t want you to feel like you have to hide things from me. You don’t have to worry about me. I’m really okay.”
“I know I don’t have to, but I do. I wanted to clear up everything. I know it’s not an excuse, but I was stressed.” He explains, cheeks slowly turning pink. “There was just a lot happening and then you were there and I don’t know what happened. I really really shouldn’t have yelled. It won’t happen again.”
“I believe you,” you say. “Thank you for apologising. You can go now.”
Maybe it’s a bit harsh as Chan visibly blanches, before his expression is wiped clean.
“Oh, okay.”
“Sorry,” you say, making sure to soften your voice. “I just. I really do have a lot that I have to finish right now. I appreciate that you came to talk to me, though. I’ll see you later.”
“Right, see you later.” Chan echoes faintly and turns towards the door. After it closes, there’s a long pause before you finally hear his footsteps resume.
The rest of the weeks before you leave for Japan seem to somehow simultaneously crawl by and pass in a flash. You’re frustrated by how unproductive you feel like you are at work compared to the amount of things you have to do because you keep getting distracted, but once you’re off, there’s nothing that you want to do. You spend an disconcerting amount of time catching yourself staring at your phone not realising it has already timed out and all you’re looking at is a black screen.
When you confess this to Eunsung, he starts dragging you out for dinner with the rest of the team. It keeps you busy and you have fun in the moment, but every time you get back to the dorms, the emptiness that has been plaguing you creeps back in.
It’s the same today. When you enter your room, there’s no sign of Chan other than the clothes that he was wearing earlier sitting on a pile on his side of the bed.
It’s no surprise to you, he’s been alternating between being out late at night, either in the studio or working out, or hunched over his laptop with his headphones on. You’ve gotten used to it by now and honestly don’t mind the decreasing number of interactions that you’ve had. On the surface, things are fine between the two of you, but everything is stilted in a way that it wasn’t before. Your relationship, whatever it was prior to that night in Chan's studio, has been strained and you don’t want to do anything to test the breaking point.
You shower quickly and head to the kitchen for a glass of water. When you pass through the living room, Felix is sprawled out on the couch, doing something on his phone. He straightens, legs falling back to the floor when he sees you.
“Hey stranger,” you greet him, instinctively smiling. In the safety of the dorms, with his hair fluffed up to form a dandelion puff around his head, you can’t help but treat Felix with the warm familiarity that you’ve tried to restrain the past few weeks. You had been friends with him way before the mess of your relationship with Chan and you feel guilty every time you see him at the company.
“Y/n! It feels like it’s been so long since I’ve seen you. How have you been?” You make a face at that.
“Work is crazy, you know. I think I’ve been dreaming about planning the tour, it’s basically all I think about these days.” You shrug. “But I can’t complain, I really like doing this and it’s not like you guys are spending the days relaxing. I wasn’t expecting to see you here.” You abandon your task of getting water and settle beside Felix who puts an arm around your shoulders to tug you closer.
“I miss you,” Felix says quietly. “I know that you don't have time to come to our schedules anymore, but I miss having you there.”
“Aw, Felix. I miss you too. You can always come and find me, I’m never going to be far.” You wrap your arms around his waist and rest your head on chest. You don't tell him that it was more a choice by you rather than time constraints that led you to stop attending schedules. Felix is well intentioned, but you know he would immediately confront Chan if he found out that you weren't as 'okay' as you had assured Chan and that would just make things worse. You don't want to be more of a bother than you already are.
“What were you doing on your phone?” you ask after a moment of silence. Felix picks back up his phone and unlocks it. He has to turn it horizontal to properly show you the screen and the motion means that his arms encircle you.
“It’s a new game I’ve been playing,” he explains. “I’m still not that good, but it’s been fun! I thought Hannie would be around to play with me, but I think he’s still at the company.”
“Show me how it works,” you prompt him. You aren’t really interested in mobile games, but are rewarded when his face lights up. He starts by giving a quick tutorial of the game and showing off all the characters he plays as, before continuing on where he had left off.
The steady beat of Felix’s heart combined with the gentle rumble of his commentary and the constant exhaustion that plagues you these days easily lulls you into a semi-conscious state. You’re not quite fully asleep, but only partially aware of what’s going on around you. You keep thinking that you should get up so that Felix isn't stuck on this couch with you, but can't muster up the energy to actually move.
Eventually, you hear the front door open and footsteps pad towards the two of you.
“Is she sleeping?” a voice that isn’t Felix’s whispers.
“Yeah, she must have been pretty tired, hyung. I think she fell asleep almost an hour ago.”
“Thanks for taking care of her, Lix. I’ll bring her back to our room.”
A pair of hands ease under you and shifts your weight from Felix and into the person’s arms. The Charge sparks to life and you can’t help but lean into the comforting buzz, nestling into the warm hold.
It must be Chan, you think blearily.
You want to protest that you can walk yourself, that you don’t have to be carried back, but the Charge feels so good and so safe that you just relax further. It’s only a short walk down the hall, but the gentle rocking puts you back to sleep before you reach the bed.
Trying to balance concert practice, promotional photoshoots, and getting approvals for the next comeback means that it takes Chan an embarrassing amount of time to notice that something’s off.
It starts with the little things.
In between filming for a dance practice video, the members get a short break. Everybody collapses in different parts of the room, only getting up when a staff member enters with a couple trays of drinks. A small crowd forms and Chan waits until everyone else has taken their pick before heading over. He’s disappointed to find that there’s only iced americanos left. When he instead goes to fill his water bottle, he finds Felix already at the fountain.
“You didn’t get a drink?” Chan asks. Felix scrunches up his nose in response.
“They only had coffee today.”
“Don’t they usually have other options? I thought you’ve been getting that fruit tea these days.”
“That’s only when Y/n is organising the order. She always tries to get me things I like.”
“Oh, that’s nice of her.”
“Come on, hyung, you’re the one that’s her soulmate, shouldn’t you know this? She’s the only one that remembers to get that weird custom protein chocolate smoothie thing that you always drink.”
“I-” Chan stops to think. It’s true that he had been favouring a strange specialised order from one of the cafes that they usually get drinks from. He had stopped by there one afternoon when he had been in the area, then mentioned it off-handedly when eating lunch with the team and from then on it had appeared at a lot of their schedules. Most of the time, a staff member’s phone gets passed around to order their drinks or they just get served a variety of drinks to pick over, but now that he’s trying to recall, it’s been a while since either of those have happened.
He hadn’t thought much of it at the time, he’d just been happy to have a drink that he liked. He hadn’t even realised that Y/n was the one behind their personalised orders, but feels off-kilter knowing that he had never thanked her for it.
Y/n hasn’t attended Channie’s Room in weeks either. Chan knows that everyone on her team has been scrambling with work related to the international legs of the tour, but even with a heavy workload, Y/n had never missed an episode before. Having her in the room had been a quiet comfort that Chan hadn’t appreciated at the time as much as he should have.
He misses her.
It doesn’t feel the same. Chan finds himself playing a song and turning slightly to see what Y/n’s reaction is, or reading out a silly pick up line and then feeling his smile drop a little bit when he realises Y/n wasn’t there to hear it.
He’d like to say that he’s playing it off well, but Stays can see it too. It’s almost embarrassing how fast they catch on. The comments that scroll by, most of them too fast for Chan to read, are getting increasingly concerned for him. Where previously they had spammed messages about how happy he seemed, they’re now pointing out that he looks tired, that something is different. After enough people tell him to eat more or get more rest, he just ends the stream, annoyed and guilty at the same time.
Another time, Chan’s spending the evening in his studio with Changbin and Jisung, trying to finalise a guide for one of the tracks they’re planning to record.
“Oh hey, I didn’t know noona was close with Minyoung,” Jisung says. When Changbin makes a noise of interest from where he’s sitting beside Chan, Jisung flips around his phone to show them an Instagram story that Minyoung, one of their stylists, had posted. Y/n, Minyoung, Eunsung, and a number of other people are crammed together in a booth at a dimly lit restaurant. They’re all smiling widely.
Chan looks a little too long at the way that Eunsung’s arm is slung around Y/n. Even after Jisung takes his phone back, Chan keeps thinking of how natural it looked, Eunsung at the perfect height so Y/n could rest her head against him, his hand curled around her shoulder, pressing her tightly against his side.
He can't remember the last time he saw Y/n smile like that.
“It makes sense,” Changbin comments. “Y/n hasn’t been spending as much time in the dorms lately, but the tour is coming up so close. I’ve heard that her team has been going out a lot to try to keep up morale and get to know each other before we leave. It’d probably be suspicious if she keeps cancelling."
"I wish we could have team bonding dinners to keep up morale before the tour." Jisung pouts.
"That's what this is!" Changbin gestures towards the spread of empty takeout containers that fill Chan's desk.
"That's the dinner part, where's the bonding, hyung?"
In response, Changbin immediately pulls Jisung into a headlock causing him to shout.
"Don't you feel closer to me now?" Changbin looks up at where Chan is zoned out. "Hyung, don't we look close?"
"Uh, yeah. Super close. Can we just focus on finishing this guide first and leave the bonding for later? I promised that we'd send it for review by tonight."
Contrary to his words, Chan’s thoughts continually wander, straying to the blurry image of Y/n. They get the guide sent off, but Chan's not fully satisfied and he can tell the others agree.
He doesn’t know what's wrong with him.
Really, Chan should have known that something is up the evening he finds Felix over at their dorms.
A flare of something curls in his stomach at the sight of Y/n curled up against Felix. When she turns her head, nuzzling his chest, that something becomes a sharp twist of emotion, one that Chan still isn’t able to identify.
He knows that Felix is strong enough to carry her to bed, but still steps in and scoops her up before he can make an attempt to get up. He lays her down on her side of the bed as gently as he can, but her face still scrunches up when he lets go of her. He cups her cheek until her expression smooths out, then steps back.
When he returns to the living room, he joins Felix on the couch and they stare ahead at the darkened screen of the TV for a moment. Chan can tell that Felix has something he wants to say.
“Do you think she’s been working too much, hyung?” Felix finally asks in a hushed voice.
“What do you mean?”
“It just seems like she hasn’t been well recently. I don't know if something happened or if she just hasn't been getting enough rest.”
“It’s probably her job,” Chan says noncommittally. He's definitely not thinking about a late night in his studio a few weeks ago. "Everyone has been busy these days.”
“Hyung,” he says tentatively. “You’ve been working a lot lately too, we’re a bit concerned-”
“What is this, some sort of intervention?” Chan’s not quite sure where the sudden burst of irritation is from, but it seems to be a common occurrence these days. “First Y/n, then I can’t get Stays off my back, and now you? Why is everyone ganging up on me so much?”
“No, it’s-”
“Felix! Just leave it, okay?" Shaking his head in frustration, Chan stalks back to his room.
Sitting heavily on the bed, he buries his face in his hands and lets out a deep breath to calm himself. Luckily he didn't wake Y/n during his conversation with Felix and he takes the time to study her for a moment.
He has to admit that Felix is right, under her eyes are shadows that never used to be there and even in her sleep, she's not fully relaxed. It's just for the next few days, he tells himself. After my deadlines have passed and once the concerts resume then we'll both be less busy and have the time to focus on each other.
In the meantime, he slides under the covers until he's right behind Y/n. He loops his arm around her waist, then pulls her closer, relieved when he sees that the tension in her body drains away.

200910 Sunggyu on Vlive Channel +
Sunggyu recently started working out. Sungyeol taught him how to work out to be fit while they’re in the military.
He didn’t have a Kinky Boots show or recordings today, so he took a rest and watched the Korean movie, “Deliver Us from Evil” at home.
He shares a Netflix account with his manager/long time friend Daehyun. They haven't had an argument while working together.
Fans said he is so good at expressing his anger on Kinky Boots Act 2. Sunggyu said it’s because he doesn't do that in real life. He gets along with the actors who play Lola very well.
When he went camping with Minseok and Eunsung, he had so much fun singing or grilling choco pies. Choco pies taste much better if you grill them. He hasn't met his friends recently because of the pandemic.
The reason he said he sometimes wants to go back to the military is because there he's always with someone. But he only feels like that very briefly on very rare occasions. It's much better to be a civilian.
He has recorded about five new songs. He actually recorded more but picked the five for his next album. He’s waiting for more songs to be composed. He thought of releasing “Closer” and talked to Jongwan (of Nell), the composer of the song. But Jongwan said he wrote the song for 26-yr-old Sunggyu, not 30-yr-old Sunggyu, because he thinks Sunggyu sings ”Closer” with different emotions now. They originally recorded the song when they were working for the album ”27.”
Kinky Boots requires much stamina as he’s on stage pretty much throughout the musical. The conveyor belt scenes are hard and the songs are also very high notes. Fans asked if he would play the role of Lola one day. He laughed and said if he would be able to do it. It's a very attractive role. He might play it if he gets the chance but maybe it's not the right role for him. He will have to take off his shirt if he plays Lola, so his mom won't like it. He sang ”Land of Lola” briefly. His favorite number is ”Soul of a Man.” At first, it was hard for him to sing because the notes are very high. But it's the song he expresses Charlie’s emotions, so he likes it very much now.
He said he expressed his anger on the show ”You Are My Oppa” only because the producer asked him to do so. Same with ”Sesame player” or ”Weekly Idol”.  But he expressed his anger during dance practices because he was actually upset. When he was younger, he was harsh on himself so he sometimes got frustrated and got mad or cried. He's more mature now. He had been under a lot of stress because he can't do what he had planned due to COVID19. But it's not something he can do anything about as it is the pandemic, so he has accepted it.
He almost cried when he heard the news that his first Kinky Boots show is canceled while he was getting ready on the backstage. He was very disappointed and sad because he prepared so much. He wasn't able to do anything on that day. Same when his show got canceled again. But then when he finally had his first show, he was very nervous. He had two shows on that day too. He was very thankful.
These days he doesn't meet with anyone, so he didn't get a chance to see  Sungjong on his birthday but they talked on the phone.
Fans told him his MBTI is the complete opposite of Woohyun’s. He said their personalities are very different and he thinks it’s good because they can complement each other. Everybody knows their personalities are different.  They had arguments but not often at all.
He doesn't like taking selfies and he hasn't taken one for a while.
He really misses his family but he can't go visit them because of the coronavirus. He really wants to meet his niece. His mom wants to see his Kinky Boots shows very much.  But she spends much time with his baby niece and nephew so she can't really take the risk. Sunggyu is very sad that he cannot go see his family during the big holiday, Chuseok (Full moon festival). He realized how precious it was to see people you miss at any time.
Sunggyu has a very good relationship with his older sister. He hasn't met his new niece, unfortunately, but his sister showed her to him on video calls and also sent him many photos & videos.
He learned how to drive from his manager back then. He used to drive an SUV because it felt safer and more convenient, but now he doesn't have a car.
He will get a flu shot sometime next week when he can take a day off. You need to take a rest after you get a flu shot. He's not afraid of getting vaccines. The reason he frowned when they drew his blood at the military was that he didn't want to see it. It feels weird. But getting vaccines is ok. He's used to it. He got so many in the military.
He doesn't want to get tattoos because he thinks it will be too painful, not because he's scared. But he sometimes thinks it looks cool on others.
They haven't decided if his new album will be mini or regular. Some composers are the ones he hasn't worked with before. He wrote some lyrics. He hasn't picked the title song. He doesn't know how many songs will be on his new album. He might have a song featured by a rapper. It’s probably not gonna be Dongwoo because they sang together a lot of Infinite songs. It will probably be someone new. Jangjun’s too busy so it won't be him.
He's not sure if he'll be able to have a showcase in this pandemic. He really really hopes he can release a new album. He hopes so, much more than Inspirits do. He really hopes he can have an online concert. He wants to see his fans with Yeobongs, too. He got shy saying the name Yeobong because it means “Honey”. There were other candidates for the name of the light stick that were too funny.  He said Kkobong was a too funny name for the lightstick as it means an underling. The fans said it was his idea and then he said it's a cute name and actually a shortening of kkoma eunwonbong, meaning a mini light stick.
He really really wants to have a fan meet at the end of the year. He wants to have online concerts and fan meets more than anyone. But the time and his turn have to come. A lot is going on at the company. He really hopes he can have them. He is not a board member of Woollim.
He really wanted to be very active after his military discharge. He wanted to feel compensated for the 2 yrs he was gone. He didn't expect this pandemic and he's sad and disappointed. He was very upset when his concerts got canceled. He'd been waiting for them for so long.
These days he gets foods delivered as he cannot go out to eat. He recently loves Mexican foods such as burritos or tacos.
Now he will eat, take a shower and take some rest to get ready for tomorrow’s performance.
He promised to do another Vlive next week.
“Stay healthy everyone. I know it's hard but please find a way to be happy even in this pandemic. Hang in there everyone. Stay safe. See you again soon!”

reality quest men as Yandere! Otome! characters pt.1
other parts: eunsung, sunjae
this version of Dowan as a full fledged Yandere! here
Ha Dowan
WARNINGS: fem reader, slight (very) ooc, this wasn't meant to be yandere, also mentions of stomach chub...EVERYONE HAS STOMACH CHUB AND IT'S ADORABLE!! i don't make the rules. Dowan likes it too.
First love interest. Easy manipulated and gets obsessed with you the moment he sees you. The classic pathetic jealous loser stereotype because trust me, even if he loved you to hell and back, he would not say a word about it.
Still in his loser coded era when you meet him, and you replace Arin as his first girl. Still doesn't know why you stick around tbh, but he's hooked on you either way. You guys definitely met from seating arrangements. First day of school and his new seat partner is you, Dowan might be a late bloomer from the way he's reacting to your presence.
Get to know him in class, and he's this huge nerd. Does calculations on powerscaling within games (even though it's mainly due to being bullied, poor boy), and genuinely updates data on the Wiki about his opinions and stats. Ask him about what he's playing and make your own account. If you want to take advantage of him, just hint at being bad and he'll offer to grind for you for free #simpalert.
At the beginning of his transition, you stick around him often and comfort him. Sometimes he gets a few bruises from hits, and you patch him up. You guys have a tradition of meeting up at the park every night so Dowan can train, and you can sit still and look pretty while you hold on to his water bottle.
Tease him by saying you'll give him a kiss if he finishes his workout everytime. He flushes and brushes it off while you laugh. Baby him after his workouts, you guys don't have a lot of time alone during school, so maximize this time! Go to a roadside convenience store, or bring him a home-made bento. Force feed him. He secretly likes it.
He bulks up a lot during this time, and you're very surprised by the progress. The lanky boy you once knew was gone, and in his place stood this new, muscled guy. He's still your little puppy though. Order him around and force him to carry you on his back while he does push ups. He can't even think of the strain when you're on top of him.
A special event might trigger here. A group of teenage boys looking like a stereotypical otome gang show up and try to hit on you. One of them grabs you by your shoulder and in comes Hurricane Dowan. But now he's not so skimpy anymore, and one squeeze of his hand is enough to send them running away. Give him a kiss as a reward, he's still waiting for that offer :).
As a way of thanks, invite him to see a movie with you the next day. The system will help you and make it a required event. Pretend to be naive and accidentally squish your chest against his arm during a jumpscare. Slot it right between your breasts, put those girls to good use! Cling onto him when the movie ends using the excuse of you "being scared". He'll buy into it.
Later on, you meet Eunsung, and he's pretty taken with you too. Dowan knows he's in trouble, he sees Eunsung's face and finds his old self reflected on his expression. Remember when I said jealous? You really don't understand why he's trying to monopolize your time all of a sudden.
Dowan doesn't really understand it either. He doesn't understand why Eunsung is suddenly a part of your life when you haven't talked to any man besides him. He wanted to believe he was the only one you thought of. The idea of Eunsung sharing a spot with him didn't seem right to him, and as much as he respected Eunsung, he wishes he wouldn't have let the two of you meet.
Cue him starting to follow you around like a puppy. It's really weird to see him everywhere all of a sudden. Library, hallways, wait...was that him behind the pole near your window? Don't think too much about the love letters in his backpack with your name scribbled on them. And don't even look at his nightstand when he invites you over, it's definitely not a lock of your hair in that plastic cup you threw away a month ago.
Has his transformation taught him nothing? The only thing that changed was that now he was a buff pathetic jealous loser with questionable habits. Is that a pagan symbol on his desk? Oh, looks like he's made a doll of you out of felt, how sweet. You don't know why he's sweating so much though. Honestly, the fabric looked a little too familiar...
Dowan isn't too phased by your behavior. He lays on your lap as you run your hands through his hair. You came to his apartment after you heard that he was sick. He looked fine when you got there though, maybe he was right when he said you had a healing aura.
A notification goes off on your phone. It's Eunsung's contact. Before you can reach for your device, Dowan grabs it using his full strength and crushes it to pieces. You're stunned into silence.
Panicking, Dowan quickly apologizes for his actions.
"I'm so sorry Y/N!" His eyes are teary as his face begins to redden,"I didn't mean to do that-you know I didn't mean to do that!" Fat drops cascade down his face as you hurry to comfort him. You pull him close, and he positions himself in the middle of your chest, cuddling into your two mounds of flesh.
"You know I'd never upset you..." he mumbles into your shirt, "I'll buy you another phone...just trust me, okay?" You're frozen solid when his icy hands begin to creep around your waist, rough pads rubbing your soft stomach as he kneads and pulls.
Was the game always meant to be this way?
"I'm tired..." he pouts at you with big eyes, "can't we go cuddle?"
'Okay.' You hesitantly reply. He happily picks you up and spins you around, you slightly giggle from this gesture. He places you on his bed as he pins you down, a gigantic grin on his face. You don’t think you've seen him like this before, his eyes crinkled like crescents, bright irises full of stars. His joy was pure and real, and it was absolutely beautiful.
You placed your head on the juncture of his neck as you let yourself unravel in his embrace. One of his hands lay lazily around your waist as the other threads through your hair, large palms softly massaging your scalp as you feel the last remnants of your consciousness slip away.
In the corner of your sight, a small red warning sign flashes on and off again, until suddenly, it stopped.
Dowan wipes away the last of his crocodile tears as he feels your breath evening out. He holds you close, trying to take in your warmth and your scent, the softness of your skin against his. He nuzzles into you again, a content smile resting on his lips, a stark red glow dissipating from his eyes.
[end of episode 1]
Edit: okay all of them are jst gonna be yanderes I've realized that I physically cannot write a healthy relationship. quotev has done a number on me throughout the years
