I was thinking about different animals and how their natural traits would work in an anthro setting like yours

Imagine owl lookouts, having 360 degree of vision just by turning their heads

Secretary birds guards kicking the everything shit out of anyone who comes too close (btw look up secretary birds, they have a dumb name but are secretly one of most birds ever made)

Or how would animal instincts work in an anthro world, like predator animals locking on any quick movement, aproaching you from behind and freezing when you look at them, having the urge to chase when someone is running

Or maybe some herbivore are eating together but one of the group doesn't eat but just observes everything and they switch with someone else so they can eat

Omg dude these are absolutely fire ideas!

I do have to be honest tho, since I dont have much experience with animal instincts both in the animal world or in fiction, I might forget to do cool things like these fjkfl

But!!!! This does make my noggin work!!!

I have some scene ideas where Narinder acts like a feral werecat, Lambert fighting with a wolf-folk in the collisium chapter and charging at it like a bull while the wolf makes fun of their sheep side and things like that!

My look on these characters might be more human sided but I will try to put some animal aspects in them %100!!

I looooove the owl lookout idea!

And I love secretary birds! They have eyelashes for days xD

The eating habit thing is also very cool!

The ears are definitely the part of the head that I've been dreading the most, because I've always struggled to make them work. I was never 100% satisfied with the ear results on past heads, so this time I'm trying a different method. It's based on TinnatuPaws's ear patterns, not actually printing and using any of them directly because I wanted that front border to have a slightly different shape, but taking the general method/idea. Took a couple hours to put together a working pattern because I only had a vague idea of what I was doing, and I guess the final look is pretty similar to TinnatuPaws's canine ear design anyways so perhaps it would've been easier to just use that one directly but w/e too late now. I think it turned out pretty alright, but of course the real test will come once I actually put fur on it.

These ears also probably look a tad on the large side for a standard housecat--that was intentional; I'm a bit worried about this head base being a bit too small compared to the other parts of the suit so I'm gonna try compensating by exaggerating the ears, head floof, and cheek floofs a bit. This base already has proportionally very large eyes so I think I can get away with it. Fingers crossed!

I did try on my previous head with the new body the other day to get a better idea of the size ratio and it looked alright, though while the base for my previous head is similar in size to this new one, I do think it might be sliiiiiightly larger overall, even accounting for the fact that it has fur and this one doesn't yet. Hopefully the difference won't be all that significant and I won't be walking around with a comically tiny head, but as with the ear method, the real test won't be till I actually fur it. So....we shall see.

usa people of voting age. i dont have to tell yall all the ways harris sucks, and i dont have to tell yall how trump sucks in all the same ways and more, but there's one area in which they do differ greatly and demonstrably: their attitude to climate change. the current administration has shown that the democrats believe climate change is real and are making efforts to improve. are they doing amazing? of course not. yall love cars and oil. but things are being done!

now please consider what will happen when the usa, #1 contributor of CO2 in the world historically and still at the top currently, completely stops doing anything to improve that; in fact increases their investments in fossil fuels greatly. Consider not just its literal effects on the climate, but in particular its secondary effects on every sliding-ever-rightwards government right now, looking for any excuse to do nothing.

i know yalls politicians like to point to chinas emissions as a reason to stay inactive - but for basically everyone else, you guys are china. so please... try to make sure that the leader of the biggest economy in the world will be doing something, anything, to reduce global warming for the next four years

Indiana became a state in 1816 aka the Year Without Summer; and while it didn't become a state until December of that year I will be using this for 2 wttt Indiana hc;

A. Indy is always cold, main reason he's the premier hoodie thief in the statehouse.

B. because it was such a horrid year for crops Indiana, who I think was about ten physically when he *popped* into existence, spent their first while on the planet rationing food & regularly going to bed hungry. This developed his lovely habit of hoarding food, and being the worst offender when it comes to the "you're not leaving the table til you've cleaned your plate". None of these habits were helped by the fact that (according to me) he was raised by Virginia who is the same way because of the Starving Time.
