One of my earliest 'feeling weird abt tickling in media' moments was a Wishbone book that was retelling some vintage scifi story. There were these giant jellyfish aliens that had some sort of energy beam that tickled you and made you too weak to get away, and for some reason that really interested me, tho couldn't quite put my finger on why...
