The other day there was a thread with many commenting on how weird it was there are no photos of Tyler's party other than the one of Harry and Meghan and Gail King and Oprah. I decided to do my own search and nothing. So I read a number of articles and all the articles are basically reprints, all have the same talking points.The article below from Tatler (imo it was a press release from Monteceito) sounds like it was written by a 12 year old. Besides how poorly its written the several main points in the article raise doubts for me that there was a big bash.According to the Tatler article (as mentioned all articles cite the same points) a worker from a nearby lighting company, which had been hired to help decorate Perry's mansion for the party said:"There was ‘a lot of music, dancing and singing,... ‘Lots of speeches and food too. Everyone was having a lot of fun. It was a good party. There were a lot of famous people but I cannot say any more,’ he told MailOnline."If Perry wanted everything hush hush and told hired help to not say anything about who he invited why were Oprah, King, Harry, Meghan, Brian and Tracy Robbins named? Furthermore what person below 80 says things like "there were a lot of famous people there", "everybody was having fun" and "there was a lot of singing and dancing" Who talks that way these days?2) Another oddity and I quote*"Another source also mentioned that a ‘*male person who sounded like Harry was heard making a speech’ at one point during the evening."Who is this source? Why did that unnamed source divulge the name of a guest when the other person apparently was under orders not to name names? How convenient that of all people who were named it was Harry! Top 5 Favorite Fics 💖

these are in no particular order!

3 AM, the time when most people die - this is a hard core logo (1996 canadian movie) fic which just kind of Happened, and it hung around on ao3 for a solid few days in a 0 kudos 10 hits sort of state, which had me giggling every time i thought about it. 2023 goal of writing for me, myself & i achieved (0 kudos on a fic)! ✅ (that said, it does also bring me great joy to see that the number is upwards of zero now. lovely to see an obscure thing find its audience. <3)

Your hands in my back pockets - a starsky/hutch fic, and in some ways the opposite to the previous one. i had a "this is alright" sort of feeling about it when i hit post, and the (lovely! very flattering!) way people responded to it surprised me somewhat. reading it back now, i don't know what bothered me about it at first - it's nice, it flows, it's all good! plus, i really like the title. it's a good s/h title.

POV: It���s a lovely day, you’re sipping a refreshing cold drink on your 70s apartment balcony, and the upstairs neighbor who always waters the sago palm outside your front door when you forget about it has that one friend over and his windows wide open. - this is a starsky/hutch all dialogue fic, and it was just plain fun! very easy to write, thankfully not hard to read, and the title is completely ridiculous in a way that still gives me a kick.

How To Build A Triangle (or accidentally fall headlong into one, or whatever the fuck) - can't not mention this one, i think. it's the roy/jamie/keeley ted lasso fic i wrote in record time (for me), and i had a blast doing that and i think that's palpable in the end result. i have warm memories of this!

Oh, kiss me like the final meal (Yeah, kiss me like we die tonight) - h50! steve/danny! they'd gotten swamped by all the starsky/hutch in 2022, but they made a minor comeback this past year. and again, this fic was just plain fun - a scene that really needed the mcdanno rewrite, and i'm glad it happened, and that it decided to flow so smoothly it grew twice as long as intended. the gag with the gun is still good, the banter works, and i like "it tastes like a laugh".

Fandom Fic Events 🤝

my knee-jerk first thought was none, which would have been a blatant lie for this year! i wrote a fic for the SHareCon (starsky/hutch con) zine, which is currently still zine-only but will appear on ao3 at some point in the future, and i also wrote something for this year's Starsky & Hutch Advent Calendar, which can be found here (which will also lead you to all the other lovely advent calendar gifts of 2023 and previous years!). neither of these things would have happened if starsky & hutch fandom hadn't been such a warm, welcoming, unbelievably well-organized space. <3

Projects for 2024 👀

oh god. oh god i have so many things on the grill.

the end of 2023 was a stretch of time where i did write some, and at times even a very decent amount, but nothing seemed to be getting finished - which was annoying for a bit, and then sort of petered out into oh well. it'll happen, eventually, when it wants to. which means that currently i have a whole bunch of nearly finished things for a whole bunch of fandoms:

bad buddy - should this be top of the list? who knows. but oh, i need to write something for this - i have to, i need to, you know. it's just that it's turning out to be more of a challenge than most new things i start writing for, because i do feel i have a reasonable grip on the characters, but the fact that it's a thai series which i'm only consuming through fan-generated subtitles is clashing with some of the fundamentals of how i usually write fic, as it turns out. usually i watch a thing and then mimic character voices to write a section of (probably mostly, maybe only) dialogue, which then gets filled out with descriptions and an actual setting later on. the problem with bad buddy is that i love, love subtitles, and i love, love the people who write them, but they do (understandably! naturally!) lead to some very clunky english at times, and i just can't write things like "are you chickened out, fierce eyes". i cannot. which means i need to half-invent the right english character voice (and how that blends with the little i know of thai speaking patterns and customs), which takes away the thing i usually lean on way more heavily than i previously realized i did, so. it's a journey! it's an experiment! i'm learning things! i'm making choices! and i'm pumped about it but it's also REALLY slowing down the bad buddy fic production.

starsky & hutch - many things are happening! many many! they're just happening slowly. there's one particular fic about starsky and hutch comfortably out at a party and hutch fielding questions about names which has been 98% done for a month or two, but i need one (1) more connective paragraph to wrap things up, and apparently i'm in no hurry. and i love that for me, at the same time as i'm tempted to flick my brain and go Do It. Just Do It. oh god, and then there's a much older comedy fic stuck in close to the same situation only there it's 95% and the missing part is the end, which is at least a little more serious, and there are. i think literally a dozen probably. things that are cooking, bubbling, making interesting little noises. it's yet to be seen which of those turn out tasty.

h50 - there are some shorter wips here that have great potential to go somewhere, but mostly i want to finally (finally!) wrap up a flip-flop state of mind, which only needs finishing touches (albeit a bunch of them) on the final chapter, and then maybe 200 more words for the short epilogue to round things out. i had somewhat hoped to get that done before the new year, but it didn't work out that way, and i'm at peace with it - the longer this fic takes, the more comical my initial estimate of "i can probably get this done within the month" becomes. and after that's done, i can refocus my energy on Sweet like a chic-a-cherry cola, another ill-fated plan which i Will see through (while also enjoying myself), dammit, but i think for that one i'll need to pre-write the whole thing before i start posting again or i'll just keep going in circles.

nashville - it's been a while since my rewatch, so i'm not sure it will ever really come together, but i have a fun little 5+1 will/gunnar thing which lives half in a google docs file and half in my heart. could be nice!

sga - there's One Fic that's near done and has a few turns of phrase in it that keep making me go "oh, this might be worth finishing, actually" every time i return to it, but i think i'll need to let that happen a few more times before we actually get there. there's also a light and comedy-ish aro/ace john fic (heavily featuring john&rodney and john&team) on a low boil. i think that one might need to wait for me to rewatch the show at some point so i'm correctly immersed in the Vibes of it all, but it's very dear to me, so it still gets a permanent In Progress label.

due south - there's one particular thing that i might get back to? maybe. it could happen. @redgoldblue's dedicated live reporting on their due south watch, as well as their ds fic, did stir something in my brain.

other - there's literally two paragraphs of hard core logo fic kicking around in my notes which might turn into something some day. (when i started writing 3AM those new words were intended to blend with the two existing paragraphs, but they never did.) there's some ted lasso that can still be considered wip, but my ted lasso fic moment burned bright and short, it seems, though it's nice to know the framework is there if i ever do a rewatch. oh man, and there's a weird homoerotic over the top (because that's what this canon is) tango & cash wip which i hope will make it across the finish line some day, but i wouldn't be surprised if in the end that's, like. coming to an ao3 page near you soon! in 2026.

Well, thank you for the kind words, darling. There seems to be, indeed, a cluster of people whose only raison d'être in this fandom is to make sure no dissenting opinions from the current narrative are ever heard again. So much so, that they are ready to stalk shipper inboxes every single day - you can easily imagine I am not publishing everything and if I do, it is just to show how far things can sometimes go (very far). It makes one wonder, truly: do these people work? are they raising families? form healthy relationships? It seems to me, every single time, I am either reading the tantrum of a 12 year old or the cold, brutal rebuke of a 55 year old bitter man. I know I don't have the time, nor the slightest interest in doing the same and I was very disappointed to see some shippers cross the street, in a useless attempt at dialogue. And if anything else fails, those same people will go as far as try to hack your Tumblr account or email and of course, publicly insult you almost on a daily basis - who is pathetic and delusional, here, I wonder?

But make no mistake, querida. The Sopranoes will never admit to sending Anons (especially those blowing their own trumpet), nor using clones to monitor our slightest comments and immediately share with their ilk. Obsessive behavior, combined with revolting hypocrisy, pathological victimization and plain harassment. It has been like this from Day 1 and it is what it is: it will never stop.

As sure as I am they do not deserve any of my time and attention (and believe it or not, I am), I wish I'd have the same tact and discernment as in my professional life. A friend I trust and respect very much even tried to explain several times (and alas, to no avail, it would seem) that it was not productive to even grant them this time and attention, at all. She was right, of course and I am probably wrong. But sometimes, too much is really too much and, despite my best efforts, I never could quite understand that 'turning the other cheek' parable. 💥 How do you feel about criticism?

bruhhhhhhh. This is a heavy one.

First and foremost, I'd like to make it very clear that I don't expect everyone to like my fics, or my writing style, or my sense of humor... or anything about the content I create.

I understand everyone has their preferences and what they look for/want out of a fic.

That being said... criticism on fics, especially in comments or through anon messages, seems a bit unnecessary. Like... you could just, idk, NOT read the fic.

You could hit the back button. You could go somewhere else. You could sit down. You could learn to bake bread. You could look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, "How would I feel if someone said this to me?"

If you're just commenting to be rude, hurtful, or anything that's not 100% kind... you're an asshole. Plain and simple. All you're doing is hurting someone who spent many hours working on something (FOR FREE) when you could just... not be a dick.

I'm also very iffy when it comes to constructive criticism as a whole.

Did the author ask for it? Is your "constructive criticism" necessary? Is the story a WIP? Because if it's completed and published... babe, please just don't bother. (There are exceptions to this rule. I think we all know what they are. If something could be seen as hurtful, problematic, hateful to a group of people... you could gently bring that up to the author. but that's not what we're discussing here, so let's move on.)

If you really feel you have to bring up your "constructive criticism" to the author, I'd suggest you dm them (NOT on anon. If you're criticizing on anon, you're a pussy. Don't be a pussy. The author doesn't get to be anon, you shouldn't get to hate on anon. Say what you want to say with your username attached if you actually think it's 100% necessary the author sees it.)

I don't think criticism of any kind, constructive or just plain douchebaggery, belongs in the public comment section. And that goes for any fic I read, not just mine. I fucking HATE when I come across somebody being a dick in Ao3 comments, and I will usually go full 32yo Angry Mom/Karen Mode and insert myself in their thread like "HELLO, DICKHEAD. I'M KATE. NICE TO MEET YOU. LET ME SAY WHAT THE AUTHOR WON'T."

Now, if the author ASKED for criticism... that is different. (Also fucking brave of them.) If they asked for it, I'd still advise you to 1. make sure it's actually necessary they hear it, and 2. say it fucking nicely.

Tell them everything you loved about their fic. Tell them how it made you feel. Tell them the lines that made you sob or laugh or smile. Then (and only then) VERY NICELY AND GENTLY, offer them your advice. And know that it's 100% not up to the author to acknowledge your criticism and/or respond to it.

Because again, babes, we do this for free.

Also? I'm fucking soft. I cry over literally everything. I put my whole kateussy into my fanfics, and if someone says something rude about them, I will cry actual tears. I'd really rather you just NOT read my fics, you know?

I've been reading and writing fanfics since I was 12 years old (that was 2002, children). I have read hundreds of fanfics I didn't think were great. I've read hundreds of fanfics that sucked. Not ONCE have I ever told the author that. And I never would. It's not my place in the world.

At the end of the day, anon, I think it's important to ask yourself: "Does this person need to hear what I'm about to say?" the answer is usually no. This can apply to so many situations in life.

Please be nice to each other. The world is a shitty, terrible place. Our little safe corner of the world (AO3/Tumblr) doesn't have to be terrible or shitty.

Let's just... be fucking nice to each other, please.

EXPERIENCE  /  HOW  LONG  (  MONTHS  /  YEARS? )  : RP, since 2013-ish. My first-ever blog was made around there, and I've been RPing ever since, but I've been writing for a good few years before that. I'd saaaay maybe four or five? I can't check since I deleted all my oldest stuff, but it's around there.

BEST  EXPERIENCE :  In general, I'd say an RP I did with a pair of friends from another fandom with another muse from years ago - where my muse was being chased down by a worried friend after having run away (after either hurting them or BEING hurt, can't recall), and was offered a deal with the demon sin of Gluttony, which he took and has since forever regretted - that one took until 4am and was one of my favorites~ I don't think I've had something that's made me stay up that late just to get more of it, since.

RP  PET  PEEVES  /  DEALBREAKERS : I definitely hate when people control my character - taking them and making them act or move more than just briefly describing them taking a thing in a plot/thread where we both know they're gonna take the thing.

One dealbreaker I have though - Guilt trips. I've had people do this to me before where for whatever reason, I didn't really wanna thread something - either the thread itself wasn't something I wanted to do or I just plain didn't vibe with their muse and made an effort to tell them as politely as possible that I didn't think my muse would be able to interact well, if at all, with theirs. And always, ALWAYS the response would be them going to their blog, and vague-posting about me and how I should be writing with THEM if I wanted to rp so bad, as well as people guilting me into refollowing them after deciding I didn't want to follow them after all, usually for the above reasons of 'my muses won't gel with theirs after all, whoops'. Basically - if you knowingly, intentionally, try to leverage my anxiety as a means to keep me interacting with you, you can consider me gone. For good.

MUSE  PREFERENCES  FLUFF,    ANGST  OR  SMUT  : Fluff and angst are both amazing. Smut... Technically I'm okay with smut as a concept, but given the characters here are early-20's at best, and canonically in the range of 17, I do not want it on my blog in any capacity. ignoring my rules and asking to ship with me when your character's name is not in my ship list (yes, this includes OCs. if OCs aren't mentioned it's very likely because my muse has a very specific romantic inclination and chemistry won't trump that the muse is already leaning toward someone/other people by default. should be obvious but I literally recently on another blog had someone completely ignore that muse's ship list and still send me an anon to ask to ship with me (and the whole thing was indicative that they only wanted to write with me to ship and didn't really see my muse as their own muse but just as another tool in the shed). my ship list tends to be very tiny for any muse and I prefer it that way anyway because it wards off the idea that people are only writing with me to ship. I love shipping with certain pairs, but I don't write explicitly for that and am much more comfortable with the idea that people aren't following me to ship with me/going into things assuming they will be able to convince me into it when they would have presumably read my rules and know their character is not on that list. again, as in my rules, one-sided your-muse-likes-mine is totally fine - just don't get mad when it remains one-sided because you were warned. if your muse is on the list (for any of my muses), yes, it means I'm open to discussing it/writing it./being receptive of it.

disrespecting other writers plain for everyone to see on their dashboards. this includes saying vague shit like "there are no good (character name) muses out there". that is very much not the same as "there are no writers for this character/I can't find any of this character". that's a very intentional dig at certain character writers and implies they're not good enough for you because nobody writes that character the way you want them to (versus simply expressing a desire to write with a certain character but not finding anyone who writes them).

using my muse as a blank slate who is just a base directly off the game you probably played if you're here. if any of you have paid attention to my threads with a specific Flynn (hi Natty!), you are probably aware my muse is heavily influenced by canon side material. that stuff is a core part of my muse. my muse is not just a rip taken right out of game-only canon. the more I write, the more formed he becomes as his own individual muse. if you cannot respect that and will consider it "ooc" for my muse not to be a blank slate direct rip from canon every time I write with a new muse, that's a hard dealbreaker. (on that above note, for any Flynn writers who are unfamiliar with the canon side material that Flynn is a primary part of (i.e. very directly relative to things that affect my muse), I do not hold that against you and am completely willing to work things out with you! that shit is hard to find and is JP media only. there's a slew of side content for Vesperia that the west never got so I know many if not most people won't even know a lot of it exists)

PLOTS OR MEMES: I do both, but I'm more likely to be able to work out plots with characters either in my muse's canon(s) or muses from other Tales games ("canons" is things such as canon side material, Tales gachas Yuri is in, etc). if I don't know your character well (canon or OC), memes tend to work better. I find it difficult to plot specific things out when I don't know a particular series well or at all. that said, I'll write with people who know my character and are okay with using one of his verses even if I don't know your character/series. I love memes for writing, but I will definitely struggle to actually plot if I don't know the franchise. I also love randomly sent memes just for the sake of writing things!

LONG REPLIES OR SHORT REPLIES: long. short for me is like three paragraphs and I just physically can't find myself doing less. things like one-liners might pop up in dash commentary and such, but for actual threads, I write long replies because that's what comes to me. sometimes motivation really hits me with muses my muse feels close to and you might end up with a ten+ paragraph reply, so uhhh... sorry about that in advance (and my paragraphs can get bulky so doubly sorry in advance!). typically this stuff happens in more emotion-driven threads though.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: NIGHT! NIGHT! NIGHT! I'm a night owl in general, but my writing energy tends to go yeehaw on me at night.

for writing (stories) i'd say in early middle school when i realized fanfiction was a thing. before that i just did a lot of journaling, or i'd finish a trip with family and write a long essay about everything we did on the trip. anyways when the fanfic itch hit i wrote obsessively and even titled my story journals as i finished them so i could keep them in chronological order. (like i had one named after spring, another for summer, fall, winter, etc. and then a series named after favorite gemstones x flowers). i think i filled 40+ notebooks of various sizes by high school? they're still somewhere in the basement at my parents' place probably.

then i found ff.net and realized people posted their stuff online so i tried that a bit, and when ff.net started getting dated i moved onto ao3. i don't have as much energy or drive to write the crazy crossover AUs i used to do but it's still nice to post there, or make up original short stories for fun. anyways TL;DR i'm always writing something somewhere sometime~

for RP i wanna say...early 2000s? back when forum RPs were a thing. and i don't mean the fancy kind they have now where you can custom-theme your posts, but just plain message boards where you started a topic to make "threads" and replies to that thread made up your interactions, and the rest of the board was divided up so you had locations in one place and character profiles in another, etc etc. they were everywhere and constantly opening and shutting down so i went everywhere too, lol. also signed up for this digimon PbEM RP group where they had a plotline and an all-original crest lineup but you had to make up your own digidestined and digimon and apply to join. then we'd RP on a word doc and email it to the next person in the group to get the story going. it was sooo old school but it was genuinely fun. i also applied to join a livejournal MFRP group but got rejected because my app wasn't good enough hahaha that got me a little scarred so i hid away from MFRP for awhile

(also a special bonus to the time my friends and i RPed as neopets faeries in a composition book we'd pass around in school between periods.)

for tumblr RP i think it was like 2014 or 2015 after a RP hiatus? the messageboards were dead or dying by then and heck if i was going to learn livejournal and its weird system so i joined some ancient chinese themed MFRP group with a similar chinese drama-inspired muse but that shut down within a month so i wandered around until i found a bigger more active group and stuck around there. and now i'm on and off here. :)

when it comes to RP, i think i lean more towards description because i need to give context to my muse's lines. but for stories i'm more dialogue heavy, and i enjoy writing exchanges back and forth between characters.

i don't know if i'm the best person to ask but when i'm stuck on writer's block i work on a different...writing project..... you know they all have different vibes and stuff so a change of scenery gives the mind a break and stuff? it's good.

and it works because i still wanna write, i just don't want to write for Thing A so why not Thing B lol.

it also helps to find a focus, most of my writing block woes come because i don't know where/what to do next, so maybe i find a song, a pretty quote, or an icon that gives me the right "vibes" for what i want to express and think up the rest of the post from that.

it also helps to have a smaller goal to work towards even if you don't know how the ending will turn out. for example, if in a thread my A is interacting with your B and i think to myself "well according to what i've read in B's app he'd prolly hate A and think him a prick, so it'd be interesting if A gets a chance to showcase his prick side in this thread eventually," then i'd insert stuff into my replies to gradually make A more annoying and play off what B replies to work towards that "goal."

of course since RP is directed by both sides those mini-goals sometimes get sidetracked, but then it's fun to see in what new direction we take the interaction instead haha

PREFERRED ROLEPLAY TYPE: the best roleplay connections are those that are cross-genre. a lot of different tropes and moods for the same characters, to make up a vibrant story. a thread here, another there, no need to write them chronologically at all! i do have some favourite tropes (hurt/comfort, villain/victim, kink...) but even those work the best when included in a multigenre arc. so basically anything goes!

PET PEEVES & DEALBREAKERS:

any kind of making fun of and/or harrassing, bullying, making callouts, or trying to dictate other people's fictional enjoyment. i don't care if the subject matter is something i'm personally disgusted by; if you call people gross, freaks, weird, for the fiction they enjoy, if you reblog callouts that focus on fiction, i will unfollow/block you. boundaries are fine, a polite "dni if you write (topic)" is fine. but if you even push your pinky toe over the line towards making it anything more than a personal boundary, i do not tolerate that, and i do not feel safe around you.

not letting me know which muses you are interested in. the amount of people who follow me, but never do my interest tracker or initiate interaction (i'm ok with the tracker not being done if you send in stuff or just plain tell me in a message which muses you want to write with), despite this being in my rules, is frustrating. i can't read your mind. i can't just assume all of my muses are free game, unless you tell me that. i give people several months to do this before unfollowing, but eventually i will unfollow, as there is... no interaction. i will happily interact first, send memes, etc. if i just know what muses you are open to.

assuming i'm not interested/am upset with you if i don't respond to ooc messages fast enough. it's fine if it's a dealbreaker for you if someone is responding slowly, but you don't get to say i "wasn't interested". you don't know that unless i say that plainly. i rarely talk in real time. i take hours, days, weeks, even months to reply to people ooc. fuck, one of my best friends and i sometimes don't say a word to each other for over a year, and we still are best friends. i do try to not take literally months to reply to people's ooc messages, because it's not very productive in the sense of keeping plotting going, but taking days or a couple of weeks is just normal, imho, especially if it's not every message several weeks apart all the time.

PLOTS OR MEMES: a little bit of both! i prefer to plot a little at least, but whether that's before writing, or after sending some memes and writing a few responses, is all the same for me! i'm very flexible about this, though, so totally winging it, or plotting in detail, are both fine for me as well.

LONG REPLIES OR SHORT REPLIES: i'm fine with all lengths of replies, but medium, generally? i also think we should normalise reply length varying. if the muses are having rapid-fire dialogue, it makes no sense to write several paragraphs just to make the reply longer, when you need to give the other muse a chance to respond, anyway. and when there's a time-skip and descriptions of what happens in between, it makes no sense to try to jam it all in one little paragraph, a lot of the time. so whatever suits the reply? but also, 2-4 paragraphs as a general guide is my preference. single-para can feel too restricting, and over four paragraphs, especially if they're all chunky ones, makes it harder for executive dysfunction. don't worry about either of these, though! i think the best really is to just write what feels good for the reply, be that shorter or longer.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: legit this just varies, there is no specific time, although i do try to keep a regular sleep schedule (with varying results lol).

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES: no. i may have some similarities to some, but i am not extremely like any of them. i am actually jimmy price from hannibal. only half joking-

RULES, LAWS, IMPORTANT STUFFS.FIRST AND FORMOST! I love ALL pairings. I will not tolerate any hatred towards any character.

1) These rules are subject to change.

2) There will be no hate messages on this blog. Meaning if I get sent a hate message it will just get deleted. I will not waste my time brooding over your message so you are just wasting your time typing it up.

3) No god modding. Understandably my characters can’t win EVERY single battle and will not win everything. I usually like taking a few and then your character takes a few. I will always, ALWAYS, come to you and ask how the end of the fight will turn out that way I can write accordingly.

4) Writing. I don’t expect a novel back if I write a novel, and sometimes I do. However, I do expect something to work with, please do not respond back to me if I leave you with a detailed post only for you to give me a one liner, it just kills the mood. – In addition! If you would like to respond to an ask please link the ask on a fresh new post, and tag me just in case, that way it looks more appealing. I do that with other roleplayers. C:

5) Original Characters. I love original characters, I personally suck at writing and developing them so for all of you original characters out there I applaud you. However, please don’t use me to come up for ideas of your original character, that’s not my job. If you like for a starter please understand that I will be staring at your character about page for a long, long, long time. It’s a little difficult for me to write for an original character so please be patient!

6) Ships. Here we go … This is a huge one for a lot of people. I am a Multi-shipper or trash – I’ll accept either lol. You are free to jump in my inbox or IM me and be like “Hey baby. You and my muse * suggestive eyebrow wiggle*”. I will most likely be like “FUCK YES LETS GO!” and bam! We ship. But here is my problem with most people: I have a lot of ships that I absolutely adore however, if you don’t like the ship me and my roleplay partner are doing you can either unfollow or shut the fuck up and ignore it, black list it – whatever. I’m saying that in the nicest way possible. I’m tired of people complaining that they “Hate this ship but I saw it and read it so now I’ll bitch on my blog about it.” Calm down, grow up and again, unfollow that person or ignore the post. Plain and simple or else you’ll probably be hearing about it from me. I have been in too many fandoms where this goes on.

7) Exclusives/Relationships. I am a-ok and more than happy to exclusively ship when it comes to main ideas and plot, but please remember that I am only one person and I do like interacting with other people. Exclusives doesn’t mean you own me in anyway. Exclusives to me normally mean that you are a close friend and most likely already have my discord. The more was talk IC or OOC the more likely I will pick you as an exclusive for main plots.

8) Reblogging when you have no permission. During my time of roleplaying on many sites tumblr is probably the worst for this rule. Anyone who reblogs threads, asks or any other communication between my partners that they are not tagged in will be kindly asked to delete the post. If not deleted within 24 hours you will be blocked from my page and I will not remove it.

9) Nsfw. Is only available for people who are of age and adults. I am 29 and I do not take light of being tricked when it comes to age. I will be asking your age if it is not in your mun section or anywhere visible, I will not be held liable if you are lying to me. You MUST be of legal age, please ask if you are interested in rping nsfw.

10) Personal Tags & Passwords. I don’t do personal tags or passwords. Final answer, if you follow me then it means you understand that I will NOT be tagging any personal tags.

11) Triggers. I don’t expect people to tag my trigger mainly because it only happens around Halloween time. ONE. I go by Lyria and I'm a 25+ year old student. My first language isn't English so if you were to find any mistakes I can possibly make, feel free to drop by and tell me. This blog is a low activity RP blog of Jinhsi of Wuthering Waves, heavily headcanon based on canon factors and bound to change as the story progresses. Furthermore, the blog is not affiliated with the fandom, meaning that what the fandom where my muse belongs does doesn't represent me. Until further notice, this blog is on semi-hiatus indefinitely. TWO. I tend to write more multi-paras or novellas more than one-liners, or unique paras. This said, at times I might be posting one-liner calls to break the ice and reach out to more people to interact with! I'm aware that some people struggle by wanting to match the length of the reply, just know that there's no need to match the length of my replies! I admit that I tend to write a lot, but don't let that be an issue to you. If anything, as long as you write enough to have something to work with, that's enough.

THREE. For comfort reasons, this blog is highly selective and private. However, if I receive asks about the game or headcanons, this is not a requirement. Sometimes it takes me a lot until I follow back. If you see that it’s taking me a while or I’m not following back, I have nothing against you. FOUR. Godmod and infomod unless we’re talking about a pre-established thread is a no. Please, don’t do that. If I don’t reply to a meme or a thread, there’s a chance that Tumblr ate asks (which happened to me twice by now, hopefully it won’t happen again) or that I forgot in case of the threads. Coming to me and asking doesn’t hurt, but I’d be grateful if you don’t pester me for responses. If you send a meme ask and you want to make it into a thread, you're more than welcome to do so! In the event you'd like to plot something out before doing that, feel free to drop by my IMs or asks and we'll discuss something out.

FIVE. In terms of exclusivity, I used to practise one-sided exclusivity with me only adhering to the portrayal of the person I’m shipping our muses with and say that the other person can ship with someone else’s portrayals of the same muse as I write without a problem which I’ll still be implementing. However, it’d be wrong of me not to admit that it’d be nice that if we’re shipping our muses, that said exclusivity is reciprocated if possible. Regarding smut content, it'll be tagged with a plain #explicit tw tag. It won't be put under read more, but rest assured that R18 visual imagery won't be used, only writing.

He doesn’t actually have suspenders in the movie but they were a popular headcanon for him in 2012 plus they’re hot so I included them. It was important to me to include this transitional onceler in between vestler and suitler to remind us all that this is the same guy going thru different stages of his life.

I really love the way I drew and coloured the folds of his coattails here too, as well as the moss I added last minute onto the truffula tree trunk.

The frame started out as just a plain brown rectangle and I thought, now that's not very seussy, so I referenced the Too Big To Fail frame in the movie. I believe it took me two whole days to draw just the frame. :,) And the seuss portrait I just referenced from google images but it was a challenge too; I had to completely redraw it near the end to make him look more accurate.

Lorax holding up a portrait of Seuss and using it to guilt the Onceler was inspired by a gag in Osomatsu-san where the characters would apologize to a portrait of their irl creator Akatsuka when they felt like they were being a bad adaptation of his original work 😂😂😂 loved it.

This is my fav interaction in the piece...you can see it as either aftermath onceler taking the hat off of biggering onceler to foreshadow his fall, OR you can see it as aftermath-ler taking off his OWN hat to crown biggering-ler as the fool, because he's learned what a fool he's been. And actually a 3rd interpretation is aftermath-ler telling biggering-ler "yes enjoy your happiness while you can, king" 😂

And then with old onceler's hand on aftermath onceler's back, an act of consolation...I think it's very important to be able to forgive ur past self for the stupid things you've done, or else how can you continue? How can you grow? I can guarantee that 10 yrs ago we ALL did stupid things in the fandom. I originally drew aftermath frowning but changed it to a smile because he's thankful for the lessons and he can still look back on things fondly. I feel the same as him and I hope others do too. I’m REALLY proud of this little area of my zine piece. The hand and blood is a ref to Truffula Flu, our zomb apocalypse AU. I had to redraw it twice to get it right. And I’ve drawn many a onceler chain but this is the BEST onceler chain I’ve EVER drawn. It took me many redraws to get it to look this way. Look at it just reaching out at you so fluidly..!! The lighting and the rust! Proud of me!!

As you guys have probably gathered by now, nothing is ever too late to change for me. If I felt like I could redo something to be better, I'd DO IT. The tree is another example, I was rly bothered that it looked like tentacles (right) so I completely re-rendered it to be more soft and fluffy (left). This was actually the first time I've EVER drawn old onceler, so I worked EXTRA hard...I hope I did him justice!! Every hair, every thread, every little thneed tuft was drawn with care. I even manually drew in the shadows for the stripes on his robe so they would look indented! And if you look closely in other screenshots, I also manually added shadows to every piece of thread that makes up the onceler suit stripes.

The LET IT GROW is in seuss font, but I didn’t type it, I drew the letters while mimicking the font’s style, then added edge lighting to make it look carved into the pot. Unfortunately we couldn’t keep the zine title in seuss font as well due to copyright restrictions and I think I might have died if I were to draw the title in seuss font too LMAO

The Audrey is of course intended to be movie Audrey but it's MY zine piece and I wanted to be a little self-indulgent.....so I drew some symbols on the plant pot representing my audrey oc, Audrey Grace. 🤫😇 She means everything to me. She is a direct result of the fandom and she keeps me in the fandom.

I think it’s so cool that since it took 6 months, I would improve like halfway into working on this piece which made me have to go back and redo some things LOL XD. I came across them while working on the zine and a lot of their art reminded me of my audrey so I was very taken!!

I composed the piece chronologically to mirror the rise and fall of our fandom experience, followed by the calmer, peaceful present days. Aftermath onceler in the piece represents the perceived death of the fandom but outsiders don’t realize we have AUs, we like characters other than onceler, we can extrapolate the story any which way...so that's all represented by the right side of the pic. We won’t stop biggering!

the old song coming from the sea (deltarune theory post)

i never expected onionsan of all characters to be the one whose dialog i'm hinging this theory upon, but utdr is full of surprises. also as a note before we start: all of these images are described! other note, the quality of them varies as some are my own screenshots, my friend's, or sourced from youtube videos. i have also had to splice some of them together into one image due to tumblr's image per post limit. this will be a long one so read the whole thing under the cut.

if you talk with onionsan in chapter one of deltarune, they will tell you they have something they need to tell you tomorrow. they've also, interestingly enough, forgot their own name. during the course of conversation, they also forget kris' name and the name you try to give them. this was not part of their character in undertale.

we'll talk about what onionsan has to say in deltarune chapter 2 in a bit, but first let's go into who shows up if you don't talk to onionsan in chapter one.

it's clamgirl! or at least it appears to be until you talk to them.

the character's idle sprite is clamgirl's but when you talk to them, they have the clamguy's talking sprites. i've taken to calling them clamindividual. anyway clamindividual here has something to tell you about a weird thing they saw yesterday.

wow, too bad you can't go back to when it was yesterday, huh player? (wink wink nudge nudge) . Ok, you're saying. Very cool , Cosmo, but why in the world would Mr. Fox want us to talk to onionsan of all people? why would he be worried about people missing that?

this is why. behold, onionsan's chapter 2 dialog. (some lines i have skipped over for sake of time and clarity, i'd urge people to go get the onionsan dialogs themselves since who knows where this plot thread is going honestly.)

well that's weird. onionsan sure seems like they need to stop forgetting things! my advice to them: don't do it! and speaking of things you've probably forgotten, this isn't the first time this "not new" sea song has been mentioned in these games.

to be fair, it's a pretty easily forgettable (or just plain missable!) throwaway line, just a little flavor text to make your journey to your next destination a little more flavorful. its also in good company with other "throwaway" lines such as: "beware the man who speaks in hands" and "beware the man who came from another world." riverperson clearly knows shit.

(side note: the delta rune itself is also pretty dang old, given its existed so long monsters have forgotten its original meaning. just thought that was interesting.)

and now for a clamgirl detour, aka: why it matters that clamindividual shows up if you miss onionsan.

well for starters, it makes yet another connection between suzy and the end credits song, don't forget. clamgirl is the only character in all of undertale who mentions suzy.

after having this exchange, a mysterious photo album appears in sans' workshop. and inside the photo album...

so that's one thing connecting suzy to don't forget. and deltarune chapter 2 provides the second thing. if you don't talk to onionsan about the mysterious song they've been hearing, you get basically told to by someone wearing the appearance of clamgirl, the one who originally told you about suzy. i think suzy is singing "don't forget." the phrase was already linked to her, but with onionsan's memory loss, i feel the song they are hearing sung might be don't forget. there's also another thing, suzy is very likely an aquatic monster.

the aquatic monsters in the city live in a crowded aquarium. for a child about frisk's age, suzy most likely lives with her parent, clamgirl's neighbor. clamgirl is an aquatic monster from the city so she likely lives in a crowded aquarium, for suzy to clamgirl's neighbor, she would need to be an aquatic monster as well. (perhaps some kind of marine lizard? susie also seems to relate herself to godzilla, who comes from the sea. maybe suzy's a godzilla?) either way though, she is underwater and there is a song that onionsan is hearing coming from underwater and there is one song that we hear in deltarune which just so happens to have a phrase strongly associated with suzy in it. it's not conclusive yet but this is why i think suzy is the singer of don't forget. i've also talked about this before but i don't believe suzy is susie! i think similar to catty and catti they may be related in some way but i don't think they're the same character or toby somehow misspelled her name in undertale (yes i've really seen people say that.)

i think the fact that suzy probably used to live in waterfall is also significant, waterfall is the only place where you can find a certain man who doesn't exist, after all. tell me what you think! i wrote all this in one sitting so i hope it makes sense haha =)
