i unironically love mobile gaming b/c it's about the only type i have time to play (besides ffxiv) all while carrying it around in my pocket. (p.s. 9 days until wuthering waves releases come play!!)

i have a love for miniatures. to curb that i only collect ones for my BJDs now and hunt for them via lucky finds in antique shops.

i do chinese > english fan translation for novels and series i like. update times are sporadic, however (cough these days most of my writing is just RP stuff)

my favorite genre of YouTube videos are 1) gossip/review channels for cdrama land, 2) horror let's plays from ManlyBad*ssHero, 3) real life disaster stories (ScaryInteresting is very thorough & the cave diving ones are super freaky). i like listening to them while doing the dishes/laundry

i can sleep sitting up on long plane and bus rides! women envy me men hate me etc etc.

▐ HOW LONG (YEARS/MONTHS): – it's gotta be close to 10~12 years by now

▐ PLATFORMS USED: – tumblr, but ezboard (forum RP) made up a good chunk of my early RP days

▐ BEST EXPERIENCE: – a lot, but any time characters from different fandoms just kinda connected and became friends/enemies/lovers whatever after a thread. the crossover interactions are always magical in a mfrp group

i also want to try more action RPs like fight scenes, they seem challenging but the potential for coolness tempts me every time ▐ PLOTS OR MEMES: – plots are great but i'm more of a "have vague outline throw self in threads" kinda RPer. things tend to change as you RP since it's such an action/reaction cycle between you and the other mun so it's nice to keep things flexible between the start and your end goal? i also think some of the best plots can happen out of a random meme response tbh ▐ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: – length doesn't matter to me as long as it addresses stuff in the other reply. i've had threads with long and short replies within the same RP session and that's fine, whatever fits the flow. wordcount only matters for rank up hahah ▐ BEST TIME TO WRITE: – apparently in the PM during breaks in work or late at night. mornings i'm too busy....most of the time (or still asleep) ▐ ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES: – i wanna say i'm 25% mary sue (the muse, not the trope) god we will never stop crushing on cute guys or wearing cute dresses when we can get away with it

what’s a grammar rule you find yourself breaking or ignoring a lot?

so APPARENTLY according to this post you’re supposed to indicate interrupted dialogue with dashes OUTSIDE the quotation marks like what. what is this monstrosity of a grammar rule:

i’ve always been like:

“Eiden Itadori, you useless idiot—” Aurelius paused to sip his wine before nudging the other’s forehead with the tip of his shoe, “—stop blocking the sidewalk.”

sorry eiden so yeah the correct version looks so unnatural to me but now that i know this rule there’s the agony of following through because i know i’ll be more bothered otherwise aughhhh anyways

i do love breaking rules maybe i’ll resist convention. be a grammar menace like what also because be elegant or die

11. when you are writing a reply, how much ahead in the thread do you plan?

even with “plotted threads” i just write by the seat of my pants and let random tangents happen on the way to the end goal, kinda like meandering drunk down a sidewalk u get me lolol

but sometimes i get an idea for an interesting reply or reaction for my muse & how it’d affect the vibes of the thread 2-3 replies down; then i either write the Thing and see how my partner replies (because the outcome might change as we RP in real time), or pause before the reply to tell them “hey Y i think i’ll make A do this next do u think it’ll make your muse XYZ in response”

i don’t plan too far ahead or too specifically because then it’s less RP and more acting out a script u get me

20. if you are writing a wrong reply that’s not working out, do you save what you have to be continued at another date, or do you scrap it and rewrite?

sooooo i always save what i have because the cardinal rule of writing (that i follow) is that you can always use what you've written later, or for something else. (i have recycled bits of discarded replies into replies for other threads and that worked fine!)

and then leaving the reply along in drafts to go and do other other replies (or visit other muses) helps because i think it lets my subconscious stew on it until i know what i want to say. half the time it's not the words that's gotten me blocked as it is the mood/tone i want to convey in the reply. once i find the right language for it things flow much more smoothly.

also sometimes what i draft is just crap but i need to SEE the crap later with fresh eyes before i burn it all to start over (it's carthartic)

Perhaps it's best that Eiden saves this question for last—when Aurelius is the drunkest he's ever been, enough to end up half sprawled on the couch instead of sitting straight up (an impossible task, now that he can't even tell what 'straight' means).

"Whhhhhy not?"

That's not an answer, Eiden complains, and impelled to follow the rules of the game (because if he didn't uphold the rules, who would?), Aurelius gives it one more shot. But not before jabbing an index finger into Eiden's chest with every sentence.

"You...challenge my d, dignegy, too." (dignity)

"Whenever we meet, you call me n-names. You'll never change no madder whad I say. I dis...dislike that I can't…corntrol youu… You don't respeck me....either. You're either afraid or ahnnoyed...annoying."

"Klaws likes you. He'd rishk his life for you, even when I'm here, and that is unacepticble. Unacessible! He is far too...preshous a soul to rishk... If he dies I'll kills you too...it's...verrry easy."

He tries to make a slashing motion with his hand, but goes too wide and hits a lamp instead. Scowling, Aurelius kicks the lampstand until it falls over—luckily onto a neighboring couch instead of the floor.

"Everyding has tobee perfeck," he goes on, advancing towards Eiden on the couch by leaning far, faar over. "I'm awready done…I can take him home…"

"But you...all of you...are in...my way..." A hand reaches out, but it overbalances him; the next second sees Aurelius fall face-first into the couch cushions before he quietly passes out.

the only innuendos he makes are the unintentional ones and i think it's better if no one tells him when he does...

don't expect him to nurse you when you're sick because he'll screw it up: blahblah the bath is too cold the compress too warm he used hot water from the tap to boil the soup etc and still undercooked the chicken in it etc.

but he's very good at mental soothing when he wants to be and he enjoys guiding people thru their problems (the people he likes i mean). despite all his scorn for humanity he recognizes that they're capable of miraculous things with the right drive, and he's very willing to give them a nudge in the right direction.

maybe rather than taking care of others, he enjoys the feeling of others depending on/listening to him? lol

there's no resentment involved unless you cling to him incessantly (see: architect in their latest thread)

yeah he's so petty about it too

too polite to be outright territorial but he fits the profile of the sulky love interest lurking over their guy while you try to make casual conversation with him at a bar; aury with klaus gives off different vibes than aury by himself.

fortunately it's only a state that applies to klaus himself, he's more indifferent with his other relationships.

with acquaintances/friendships: more tolerant, more patient, more willing to hear things out (and take advice). unquestioned trust, to a point where he's unfortunately gullible.

with klaus: 5-year old spoiled brat, but surprisingly sweet. klaus gets 100% of his time/gaze/attention/whims. it's the kind of devotion that might turn your head a bit, but thankfully his partner is very sensible about it all. he doesn't care if he looks like an idiot here because 'OMG!! klaus!!'

answered here but if i really think about it he'd probably focus on one trait and make a nickname out of that
