A weeklong celebration of our favorite edutainment program with artistic prompts everyday! The show first premiered on the 21st of January so let’s celebrate!

What sort of Art is allowed?

Any! Traditional/Digital art, Writing, Cosplay, Video edits, anything you can make! Anything you wanna make! Sew a doll, bake a cake, whatever! Sadly, prompts aren’t made with all types of art in mind, so feel free to interpret them however you want to fit your medium!

Jan 21 - Redraw

This year we start off right on the Anniversary! So, we'll do a redraw, and leave that up to how you, the artist, want to go about this! You can either redraw an old Cyberchase piece of yours or redraw a scene from the show itself! [Keep rules in mind!]

Jan 22 - Science

Cyberspace is FULL of science, even if it's sometimes entirely fictional and fantastical. Do you have a favorite scientific genius? Or is there a machine you think is really cool? Some sort of technology you wish you could have for real? It's time to blind us... with science!!

Jan 23 - Magic

Cyberspace may be full to the brim with science, but there are many things that simply unexplainable except by the total opposite of the spectrum... Magic! Who Biddi-Boppidi-does it best? Got a favorite magic spell? Maybe the real magic was the friends we made along the way.

Jan 24 - Summer

Last year we had the prompt "Winter," so let's flip that and have fun with a summer theme! It's time for some fun in the sun, a trip to the beach, a cute summer fit, a picnic, a hike, and so much more!

Jan 25 - Crossover

What is this, a crossover episode?? Yes! And you're in charge!! What characters do you want to see interact? Who do you want to see come to Cyberspace? Or who from Cyberspace do you want to see go where? When? Why?? Go nuts!! AAA

Jan 26 - Enemy

All right, we've had OTP, Friendship, and Family as a prompt! Once again it's time to completely flip the script with Enemy! Will you draw Team Hacker? Another baddie? The main goodies vs the main baddies? Or maybe two characters who just do not get along!! Remember to keep it civil and keep it fun, please!

Wings of Fire Roblox Out of Context!

My name is Rae and welcome to my blog!! You can also call me Mistletoe if you'd like as it's the OC of mine people seem to associate with me the most ^^ My pronouns are she/her and I'm a 22 year old butch lesbian who loves Wings of Fire and dragons in general! My in game username is wofrobloxoutofcontxt, though I use the display name of Dot.

My main blog is sunlow though I ask you not to follow if you're a minor as I sometimes reblog adult jokes! You can however check out either of my YouTube channels, mukuross which is for video editing and gaming, and ikustaba which I use for art and specifically Roblox gaming!

I made this a few years back in 2020 during the height of the pandemic when I had just met some new friends via WOF Beta, and we all decided this blog would be a fun idea (: I am the only one running this blog, but I do consider many of my close friends to be strong contributors as many of them are in the images I post!

While this blog was made with Wings of Fire Beta in mind, I also accept submissions for other Wings of Fire games on Roblox! The only exception to this is Wings of Fire Seven Thrones, and if you'd like to know why, please click here! All that being said, I'd like to state some more things about this blog, specifically some rules with submissions and people who follow!

First and foremost this is a safe space for minorities. Racists, ableists, queerphobes (including exclusionists), zionists, TERFS, and anything like that is NOT tolerated at all on this blog and will be blocked on sight.

This blog does not tolerate proshippers. This includes the Dragonets of Destiny with each other, as they're adopted siblings. I'm not going to take any arguments on this, so please don't try to convince me otherwise. I don't go by the term antishipper either, so please don't try to put me into either category. I'm just some normal guy.

I don't take submissions that are sexually explicit in any way, including jokes. Those are against the game's rules anyways and for a good reason. I'm sure there are minors following this blog and as an adult I don't want to share anything of that vein with them as it would be extremely inappropriate. Remember that if someone is being inappropriate in game to not engage and report them to an admin immediately. Hey there everyone! I was inspired by some friends to finally make a new introduction post, this one for me and my system. I am an endogenic soulbond system named the Dragon Soulbond System. I am married to my in-system spouse Vandarian, and we plan on sharing more of us and our system together!

About Our Relationship

Vandarian and I have been together since the 29th of December 2015 and married in May 8th 2018 (this is a guess since we were going through trauma at the time and don’t remember our exact marriage date) and we have three beautiful soulbond children! I’ve been host to a soulbond system since I was very young but didn’t know until recently that I was part of a system or what it was called, I just called things my own words until I learnt of the term soulbond and endogenic systems. I feel so much happier being able to connect to my soulbonds in a better way which is awesome! We thought we’d make a proper post for everyone to know about us :)

I am Noven Hethreku, but you can also call me Dragon or Entesi. I am a disabled, queer, autistic dragonkin boy from Australia who is a digital artist and character designer. I am obsessed with dragons and cats, and I love drawing characters based off of them and also other creatures that I like. I am a practitioning psychic and medium and I often practice my magical abilities with my soulbonds. I am in the process of making things such as a webcomic and a video game and I want to make content for people to feel happy about and see what I like to make. Vandarian Rintzu Bluuven | 26 | They/them or fae/faer, occasionally he/him

I apologise for the old art, this is the only full reference I have of them that I’ve drawn, but I plan on redrawing them!

Vandarian is my spouse. They are from a species of alien called Bluuven (they don’t like being called alien by most people though as it has bad memories tied to it) and they are two years older than me. They are incredibly intelligent and can build almost any sort of technology, and can also grow sweet plants with their magic. They’re very sassy and have a lot of energy, and they’re very protective of me and my soulbonds. Van has DID, schizophrenia, autism, PTSD, anxiety and depression, and we help each other through the things that are upsetting us. They are very talented at many things such as dancing and singing, and they love showing off for others by looking good and showing that they’re very talented in the stuff they can do. They have tentacles in their back and they have mind reading abilities which are both from their species but they also have some unique abilities other members of their species don’t have. They are an absolute sweetheart and make me so happy

We are always happy to talk about our soulbond experiences so long as you’re being friendly so please feel free to ask us about stuff or share your own soulbond stuff! We always love meeting other soulbonds systems and we would love to see you guys if you want to chat! South Park Olympics - Point Guidelines

Here are the guidelines for how points will be calculated, based primarily on effort and time committed! Not all types of fandom creations will be listed here, but if you want to submit something that isn't, all you need to do is reach out! We'll add point guidelines for that category to this post.

Most categories have a 'cap' on points that can be acquired per piece. This doesn't mean there's a cap on how many creations from each category you can create! It only means that you can't earn more than the point cap per individual creation.

Below the cut are the point guidelines! Any questions can either be directed towards this account (@spinthetags) or @alister312, and additional clarification will be added to this post!

ART (based on Artfight rules):

Either digital or traditional is allowed!

Rough sketch: 2 points (base)

Clean sketch/lined: 3 points (base)

Lineless art: 4 points (base)

Monochrome color/rough color: +1 point

Flat colors/B&W: +2 points

Simple shading: +3 points

Full shading: +4 points

Abstract background/simple props (such as benches, chairs, grounded objects): +2 points

Detailed background/complex props (such as complex objects or environmental backgrounds): +4 points

Comics/extra panels: Full points for first panel, plus half points for each additional panel (granted that it retains the same qualifications as the first panel). Points cap after three panels (max 24 points)! You can keep adding panels after that, but points won't be given.

WRITING (fanfiction, meta, or anything else!):

100-400 words: 2 points (base)

Every additional 400 words: +1 point

Ex: 400-800 words = 3 points, 800-1200 words = 4 points, etc

Points are capped at 4800 words per chapter/oneshot! (13 points)! You can keep writing after that, but additional words won't be considered. If you’d like to extend your story, feel free to either create another work or add another chapter! For each chapter after the first one, only half points will be granted, capped at three chapters (25 points!)

VIDEO EDITS:

15 seconds: 2 points (base)

Every additional 15 seconds: +1 point

Video edits are capped at 2 minutes, 30 seconds (11 points)! You can make your edits longer, but points won't be given beyond that.

PLAYLISTS:

Playlist of 10 songs: 2 points (base)

Every additional 5 songs: +1 point

If each song is given a brief explanation as to why it's present in the playlist, +4 points will be given. All songs must be accounted for!

If you draw your own icon for the playlist, additional points will be given based on criteria in the art category.

Playlists are capped at 25 songs (max 9 points)! You can keep adding songs, but they won't be considered.

MEMES (or image edits):

Screenshots with text added/names added to templates: 1 point

Character pngs added to templates/text added to videos: 2 points

Because memes require less effort to create than other mediums, each person can only earn a total of 5 points by creating memes. After that, points won't be given!

Redraws of memes will be considered using the art criteria.

REBLOGGING:

You can earn points by reblogging other people's creations, too!

Only works created for the SP Olympics will be considered.

You can earn points by reblogging creations from either team.

1 point will be given per reblog, and only one reblog per person will be considered on each work. Spam reblogging does NOT count!

24 hours after the piece is posted, reblogs will be counted and points will be counted. To make keeping track easier for the mods, reblogs after the initial 24 hour period won't be counted. Points from reblogs will be added at the end of the week!

NOTE: Point values for PMVS/AMVS are still being considered, and will be added shortly! Suggestions are welcome!

I'm having a bit of art block at the moment. So I thought this might be a good time to go back and talk about the 3 games I released this year to give them one little bit of love before the year ends!! As well as some thoughts on where they'll be going next year!

First Up: Released August 10th, BOYZ: WORLD WIDE WEST! (x)

 This was a "pseudo-multiplayer" quickdraw game. Make your very own BOY, and battle foes in quickdraw matches! The big draw was using codes from other's wanted posters to duel their BOY in your game!

This was the game I actually planned to make at the start of the year. I had the idea in my head for a bit, and I think it came out pretty good! Sadly very few people actually participated in the #BOYZWWW tag to share their wanted poster. But I stand by this concept! I've got ideas for updates to make to this game in 2023. I would really like to add real back buttons to each option so it's easier to enter codes and build a boy. But I think there's also potential to touch up some menus and make them look more original and less like RPGM menus. I wouldn't hold my breath for it coming out any time soon. But yeah... I do already have a small idea for a sequel to this game! It's a bit more ambitious than I can do at the moment, but I'll keep my mind on it. This was my favorite game I made this year! 

Next: Released November 6th, DaRoach! (x)

A maze running arcade styled game. Play as DaRoach and try to collect gems and treasures! There's a 10 stage arcade ladder with a small story, and an endless mode with various layouts to try and master! 

This game was something I wasn't planning at the start of the year, but randomly I had the idea that I could make a simple arcade game pretty easily. It took a bit to figure out what it should be about and how DaRoach should look, but I think it came out pretty good! This game really needs to get touched up a bit in 2023. Thanks to SumRndmDde's custom menu plugin I can FINALLY add a score present during gameplay. But I also would like to potentially touch up tilesets and gameplay to look and run a little better. I know this sounds silly. But I already have plans for the next 3 DaRoach games. I'm not joking. The whole DaRoach lore is already figured out. 3+4 won't be able to be made soon. But DaRoach 2 isn't entirely out of the question eventually. But I'd still need help to get it done.

Lastly: Released December 13th, FLYTRAP! (x)

FLYTRAP is a simple Game & Watch styled game where you control Marty the Flytrap and stop flies from biting your stem! It's a simple blocker game, jump in front of the flies before they reach the center!

This game was completely spur of the moment. After playing Garden Gaurdian and redrawing old G&W fanart. I realized I could make a GW game pretty easily. And people seemed interested so I sat down and made it quickly over a weekend. I'm still shocked by the love this one got! There's not a whole lot to the game that can be cleaned up in 2023. But I certainly think there's room for improvement with playing on phones. However my main goal is to add additional game modes that make the game harder/slightly different since it's easy to edit. I do have an idea for a sequel to FLYTRAP but it'd be more of the same. Nothing too fancy. I don't know when I'll get around to it but it's one I could even potentially do in RPG Maker. Maybe. We'll see. No promises.

And that's all the games I made in 2022! Thank you all so much for your support, and thank you for playing anything I put out there! It all means the world to me! As always, these smaller games are leading up to me finishing Once Upon An Adventure, my full scale RPG. I don't know when it'll will be done. I'm at a point where I'm pushing myself to just be happy with what I am making currently, I want this to be the last round of asset making I do. I don't think it'll be done by 2023. But I'm hoping I might be able to show more videos by then. Currently Im working on the maps! I'm on the second to last chapter for dungeons. Then I can do towns, then hidden areas! Once that's done I can build them all in game, then start working on overworld sprites and then when its all put together I can record footage of maps! There's still a LOT of work to do on Once Upon An Adventure, but please look forward to it and please look forward to more updates in 2022!

I do still plan on doing 1 short game per year. And I have a couple of ideas. I'm thinking of maybe letting people decide which one I should attempt? We'll see. A big goal I have for game making in 2023 is to try and enter some game jams. I've made games in really short times already so I think entering game jams could be a ton of fun. So don't be surprised if you see stuff like that from me. And as always I'm working with @CloudyGamesLLC and @SeafloorGames for various projects. Please check them out!

I FORGOT I MADE THESE MONTHS AGO,  its a Marble Hornets Cartoon au! I have a main story for this but it’s a bit long so I’ll include it under the cut.

The au takes place before the whole Pocket Tape reveal in Entry #75. Jay and Tim are investigating in Rosswood when they uncover a trapdoor hidden in one of the many potholes littering the woods (which they find by tripping over it of course). Going into it they discover a room full of tv screens, old and new alike, and evidence that the hooded stranger they’ve seen has been here. One of the appliances is faintly buzzing with light, and upon getting closer the detective duo turn to static and get sucked into screen.

When they get their bearings they find they’ve been transformed into cartoon characters, and work together to find a way to escape the jumbled landscape of technicolor chaos they’ve entered. Along the way they find Hoodie (and realize its Brian), Jessica, and Alex. Unfortunately, they also run into the Operator, and it’s even more present in this static-filled world.

For this story the Operator has its origins connected to a neglected film from decades ago, it draws strength from being filled and recorded. It still maintains its vagueness as to whether it’s purposefully targeting people or if it just happens upon them, but this scenario would give me more of a chance to explore how characters like Alex and Tim, who both showed an interest in artistic careers that didn’t pan out, deal with those lost passions. This whole cartoony scenario could also remind all the characters of fond memories, and give them a bit more hope despite everything that’s happened. And everyone will have to team up together, I think that’d be cool :D

Each character is in a different animation style they have a connection to. Jay and Jessica are in styles for shows they saw as kids, Tim’s style is from a movie he watched frequently when he was little, Hoodie’s style is similar to the old-fashioned footage he edits into his videos, and Alex has a realistic style to reflect his disconnect from the others.

I’d want to redraw some of their designs since these are older drawings, but I am happy I found these again.

That is a rather flattering assumption, my dear, but I believe I've proven to have a horrible track record in answering asks, and where is the fun in sending such nice asks to someone who will just hoard them and then feel too ashamed to answer months late? ^^; Anyway, thank you very much for this askl! ❤️ And while it is a bit mean to make me pick favourite(s) from my children, I'm only gonna pick one here (not even my biggest recent fave), because I want to talk about it and show off some details.

I thought about picking my recent cowboys DTIYS redraw, because that would illustrate pretty well the direction where my art inevitably seems to be going (and the one time where Cobb's face didn't fight me like it was his job - and returned to the old normal of Din giving me grief lol) BUT, then I remembered that I filled my (so far) last Desert Witch!Cobb AU drawing with quite a few details, and I want to show them off and talk about them a little. So here we go:

I wanted to showcase the colour palette I predominantly used in all my pieces for the Monster Mash drawings - I'll admit that I'm not very confident in my colours, so Procreate's feature of generating colour palettes for me from already existing photos is an absolute godsend, otherwise I'd be stuck with my purples and pink-oranges for eternity. I had to add the blue for a bit of contrast though, but by the third drawing I really enjoyed the warmth of these bright oranges and reddish browns. They added to a nice and cozy feeling while I was freezing and huddling close to my little electric heater.

Plus this is a good shot to point out all the shinies dangling from Cobb (he's now got a mythosaur pendant with dangling beads for the teeth(?)), and the tattoo on his arm I had an awful lot of fun with! Something's clicked in my brain and now it's permanently stuck on pairing Cobb with suns and moons imagery (mostly the moons, because A) Din is the one who is shiny and blinding and hurtful to look at when he's fully decked out in his armour, and B) I find the dichotomy of the deadly sharp points and curve of a crescent moon vs the gentle face of a full moon very fitting for our Marshal here). So he's got two crescent moons on the underside of his forearm and elbow, and a third one on the right side of his neck. And there is also a sun on the curve of his shoulder, behind the sharp-toothed skull (because I gave in and finally put a sun on him after you all somehow kept seeing it on him - although it still eludes me how you managed that ^^;). He had another one on his right shoulder as well, but well. Glass doesn't take all that well to tattooing, does it? He's also got a lot of swooping cloud and smoke shapes to match his eternally billowing robes and the sand-storms that hide in his pockets.

And now to the fun part of the chaos that the background was:

I really wanted to put an absolute mess of a workbench behind Cobb, and I tried my best to deliver it - then forgot to take into consideration how much of it he'd block out with his shoulders XD and so I filled it with books, datapads and candles, little notes and jars and vials and a real fancy scale that I tried to model after the krayt dragon. And then once I realized how many of those details got covered up, in my infinite wisdom I erased everything instead of just masking them out so that I wouldn't even be tempted to somehow work them back into the picture... so I had to take these snapshots from my process video (hence the poor screenshot quality, sorry ^^;) but this way you can also see how I used those box shapes to try and keep even the otherwise circular/organic shapes of the flowers and pots (and cauldrons omg, were those a struggle!) in perspective. I think that was a neat little trick.

It was really challenging, and I cursed myself a lot for the angle I picked for this picture, but in the end it was very rewarding to see that while I never thought I'd ever be able to pull off a detailed background, I still managed to do this here!

One again on the cusp of finally attempting a fic, and once again its crack taken seriously

You know all those fics where 2012!Mikey shows up in Riseverse and the brothers instantly adopt him and he doesnt want to go home? Yeah its that but from the 2012 gangs perspective, as they fight the Rise cast in stages (they win, they "get Mikey back"). Leo and Donnie are always Extra™️ so its set up like a videogame, and the boss battle is Splinter Rat Jitsu. Theres a fog machine so all 2012 can see of Casey Jr. is the glowing eyes in his mask. April introduces herself by coming up behind 12!Raph and hitting him so hard he flies. Donnie's "stage" is Albertoland and he's clearly unhinged the entire time. Raph doesnt really wanna fight so its essentially him just pushing 2012 back with little effort. Leo and Mikey Dr. Delicate Touch are a duo. Cassandra comes out of the shadows with both her masks on and gives 2012 a run for their money. At the end 2012 run through the last door, expecting to see 12!Mikey tied up, but he's just chilling with Draxum on the couch eating chips and salsa

Every time i play around with a 2012 x 2018 crossover set in 2018 verse i get secondhand self conscious and dial back the affection between 2018's extended cast. But you know what? No. Let 2012 and every other verse get uncomfortable with being in a environment filled with so much undisputed love

2018 boys cuddle on the couch. One of the boys will plop their head in 18!April's lap. Casey Jr. will slide up under 18!Leo's arm and doze off while leaning into his chest. Draxum comes over for lunch every Saturday and 18!Mikey excitedly calls him "Dad" while bouncing around him the first hour he's there. 18!Splinter kisses his sons goodnight if he sees them on his way to bed, including alternate universe counterpart sons. The Hamatos are huggers and every time 18!April or Sunita or Cassandra drop by, and on the rare occasion Sr. Hueso or Big Mama deliver something, they get a big hello hug. Cassandra greets Casey Jr. with hugs and dramatic cheek kisses and Casey Jr. has the biggest smile on his face the whole time. 18!Raph's just constantly beaming affection. 18!Leo will drape himself off everyone and everything. "I love you"s are said in almost every goodbye. No one is ashamed to admit they crawl into each others' beds at night after bad dreams or scary movies, often just telling a 2012 thats looking for them to jusy come to that room that morning because theyre comfy and dont want to move. 18!April regularly wears 18!Donnie's sweatshirts and trades off with him throughout the day (she likes baggy sweatshirts, Donnie likes warm sweatshirts), even after 12!Donnie and the teasing his brothers not-so-quietly do makes it a little uncomfortable, because this is something small that makes the other happy and a couple stares is hardly a price. 18!Mikey actively does gestures of affection (ex. making someone's favorite meal, making a painting, playing with April's hair, etc). 18!Donnie will walk away from a project if someone expressly states they wanna spend time with him (videogames are a whole different story). Sitting on top of each other because the booths at Run of the Mill cant hold 12+ people (Leo's sideways in Donnie's lap with his arms around his neck, Mikey is sitting on top of the booth with April sitting in front of him between his legs and his plate balanced on her head, Cassandra is propped up on Raph's shell and Casey Jr. is on his knee, Sunita has one leg on the seat and the other in April's lap) while 2012 try to pretend they arent uncomfortable with being squished together in a row. Todd shows up being Todd and 2018 actively and enthusiastically join in his sappy friendship things. The boys using their ten thousand dad nicknames for 18!Splinter. 18!Mikey running around to get goodnight hugs and kisses

An analysis on "Anime Rock, Paper, Scissors".

OR

"Debating the ethical and morals of an AI Tool with an E-Rate Artist."

Okay, so, like, first of all: I love this video. I've been watching and rewatching it all day. I love it that much.

It captures everything about anime I fell in love with. The over-the-top dialogue, the dramatization over something so mundane as, the the trappings of dark fantasy. It taps into a very specific core of nostalgia for me.

BUT!

Yeah, I love this video to hell and back. But, well, there's no real getting around the messy fact that AI was used in the process-hell, you can even see it in the video thumbnail. Even if this is a few steps above most AI art, AI art will always have a certain 'look' to it that makes it stand out.

So, full disclaimer: I'm not an animator. And I feel I have no real horse in this race, even as an artist. Hell, I wouldn't even really call myself an artist. Sure, I can say I have roughly 13 years of experience drawing, but I don't think my art is really on a level that makes it very appealing and I honestly feel as though I've reached a peak. Like I've reached the apex of my potential and, well, it's not much.

So excuse me for putting my foot in my mouth about a topic I don't really have much to contribute to.

So, Corridor Digital's animated short is 1/2 rotoscoping and 1/2 AI art generation. The AI was trained to emulator a dark fantasy anime style by feeding it screenshots of Vampire Hunter D. The process for how its done can be seen here.

I'm kind of on two minds on this. For the most part, I don't think AI is gonna replace actual artists. Cause there's just a lot of stuff an actual artist can do an AI can't do. And while the entire process isn't shown, a lot of editing and manipulating had to be done in order to get the AI where they wanted it. A lot of choreography and filming technique was needed. How effects work, writing-art is more than just scribbling on paper and an AI might be able to mimic art, but it can't 'draw'.

Hell, the video still has a lot of jank going on after what was most likely months of work. Like I said, AI art just has a very specific look to it.

But let's get to the nitty gritty: feeding the Vampire Hunter D art into the ai to replicate the style.

On the one hand, this is kind of what I think of when I think of AI being a tool to be used rather than an outright replacement of animators. And I think this is a good showcase of how amazing the technology can be. It looks amazing despite the hiccups.

And artists try to replicate art styles all the time. Hell, some people market themselves on their ability to replicate a certain show's look. I've seen people try to sell Hades style commissions, there's an artist who redraws screenshots of various anime as if they're an early cartoon network show, and don't get me started on Pokemon, Dragon Ball, and Sonic - the big three of style emulation.

BUT!!!

And yes, it's a big 'but'; that's not really what's happening.

I'm not smart enough to put what it does in my own words, but I'll do my best anyway: it's more-or-less a glorified trace job, with (ideally) hundreds of different pieces to work off of to generate a completely new image. Usually without the agreed upon consent of the artists.

I hate to throw around accusations like this, especially when I lazily and hungrily eat up this content like potato chips, but it really is art theft on a grand scale.

I still admire the technical skill that went into this. Even if 'anyone' can do it, there's still a lot of work that went into making this and getting something that's workable. But I don't blame people for calling Corridor Digital out on this when it's so damn blatant.

Now, I won't stop watching the video - like I said, I'm not someone with a real foot in this race, now do I wanna start some kind of revolution against or anything. It's just something to think about after seeing some backlash.

Now, the movie's out on YouTube. In fact, there are 3 different videos of this movie, dubbed.

And the movie came out roughly 23 years ago. This is NOT yanking it out of starving artists like many are claiming it is. It's practically collecting dust.

However, it's still blatantly robbing other artists who worked on this movie of their credit. But, again, they're using the ai to mimic a certain style and using their photos as a template to follow. But it's still using someone else's work as a reference. Speaking of, it's not like what I uploaded was a legit upload of the film - it's a pirated, uploaded without the rights holder's consent.

So...?

I don't know, I guess I can just kind of see both sides of the argument. I'm not here to tell you that the video is bad or that AI art is inherently bad or that AI generators need to be destroyed. And I'm not telling you that the video is completely and totally free of any shady practices. Personally, this all just feels morally gray to me and Corridor should've hired some concept artist to feed into the AI.

Just wanted to throw my thoughts out there.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX Episodes 99-101 Subbed (Finalized) - Fixes/Edits Breakdown (Part 2)

Since it’s 2023 and Tumblr still has a dumb link limit in posts, I had to break up my Fixes/Edits Breakdown post supplementing my 99-101 Release Post with my usual animation fix/edit breakdown into two parts, since I wanted to still link to the images to give the interested a visual element.  Details for 101's fixes below the cut! (Part 1 for 99 and 100 here.)

Fixes/Edits! (101) phew

After Ed Special-Summons Diskguy from his Cemetery, he draws two cards from his effect, but as we get a peek at the cards, they're actually just blank cards. Fixed this in AfterEffects by applying a Devilguy and Doctor D proxy, as he plays both shortly after this (though we don't get a shot earlier confirming whether he had Doctor D in his hand or not, but Devilguy's in front so just the Magic Card border's visible).

As Saiou bemusedly says that "Ed can't hope to leave even a mere scratch on the firm wall of destiny," we see Ed's field in front of him, with Defense-Mode Devilguy's card under him positioned in Attack Mode. Fixed this in AfterEffects by applying a proxy correctly in Defense Mode under him for a frame, masking in his legs and coat around it, then using Sony Vegas to re-keyframe it panning across the screen.

On his next turn, as Saiou explains the effect of the Necro Sacrifice card he activated, the shot in #2 is reused and slightly zoomed in, with Saiou slightly redrawn and holding onto the same error with Devilguy. Fixed in Vegas by just zooming in my fix in #2 and recreating the pan across the screen.

A few shots later, after Saiou summons The Empress and Emperor to Ed's field through Necro Sacrifice, he tells Ed he can choose their Battle Modes--but the shot of him moves to the right a frame before Ed starts sliding into a split-screen to declare Defense Mode. I fixed this in Vegas by masking out Ed's full split and redoing his slide-in to happen simultaneously with Saiou moving, using some of the background to hide his original slide-in.

A bit later, as he explains how The Devil's upright effect destroyed Devilguy, Saiou adds that the destroyed Monster's controller takes damage, but as he does so, we see the card he has face-down on his Disk looking like a blank orange card. Fixed this in AfterEffects to The Material Road card he'd drawn and set previously in 100.

After the eyecatch, good Saiou and Ed have a mental conversation as rain pours around them (Saiou holding up an umbrella for Ed), and as Ed reminds a resigned Saiou that he chose him as someone who could alter his fate of destruction, Saiou dejectedly turns away saying that it's too late for him--and while he turns away, his uniform's shoulder and the outer rim to the shoulder strap/flap suddenly vanish, leaving the trees behind him visible, though they return as he moves to look up. As detailed here, fixed this by redrawing both for the 36 total frames this issue was around for in Photoshop, applying redrawn rain lines as needed, then inserting the fixed frames into the video in Photoshop.

Some time later, Ed's summoned Bloo-D onto his field; as he explains to Light Saiou that he can absorb an opposing Monster, he's shocked as their split-screen splits apart to show Bloo-D poised to do just that--but you'll notice that their splits are a bit uneven as they split out. Fixed this in Vegas by redoing Ed's split's slide-out to be more timed with Saiou's.

(8) After Bloo-D absorbs The World and has his first attack against Saiou rendered damageless, he activates the effect of his D-Burst in his Cemetery--as he explains that it lets Bloo-D attack twice this turn, Saiou slides into a split-screen in shock before they split out to show Bloo-D behind them as his ATK's halved to do just that, but a few things happen: 1) a repeat of #4 happens but in reverse, as the shot of Ed moves to the left a frame before Saiou's split starts to slide in, 2) after their splits meet, Ed's side starts to move a frame before they start to split, with 3) a black screen behind them as they properly split before Bloo-D appears. Fixed these each in Vegas by 1) redoing Saiou's slide-in to be timed with Ed moving, 2) adding a border to Ed's side and masking in Bloo-D between them to start the proper slide-out right as Ed moves, and 3) using Bloo-D to cover up the black screen.

(9) After Saiou narrowly survives, he starts his last turn and activates his face-down The Material Road before then activating The Spiritual Road, but a couple things happen: 1) the shot of The Material Road flipped up zooms out slightly a frame before The Spiritual Road clicks into a split-screen as it activates, and 2) after both are glowing, the split-screen splits apart to show the pillars of light forming near Saiou, but Spiritual Road's split moves a frame before Material Road's does to start showing Saiou. Fixed these in Vegas by 1) holding the frame just before the slight zoom-out over the zoom-out frame so it happens right as of the split-screen happening, and 2) holding the split-screen a frame longer over Spiritual Road's early moving so the split-out starts on the next frame with Saiou showing.

(10) During the 102 preview, we see the shot of Saiou activating Light Barrier, which shows the field as the screen zooms out and the barrier's formed, but Bubbleman on Judai's field has his Defense-Mode card under him facing to the left; should be facing to the right with its effect box visible to Bubbleman's left. Fixed this first for 102 before applying the fix here, using a proxy in AfterEffects to place a correctly facing card under Bubbleman and masking him on top of it for a frame, then using that frame in Vegas and redoing the zoomout for it, using a quick layer of solid white that I masked in per the bit of light from Light Barrier's forming that floats over Bubbleman to recreate it.

If I'm reading the specs correctly, to connect a second monitor, all I would need would be 1) to use one of the included Thunderbolt 3 DV ports (it has two), and the second display itself - the included video card (any of them, actually) should support the internal display plus a second at up to 6K with 1 bazillion colors. I can live with bezels, but other than that would like the two displays to appear as "seamless" as possible for use as an extended desktop. My goal would be a second display that matches the resolution, color and (as close as possible) the size of the built-in display.
