Oh my god, I’m like so stressed but of course I decide to start writing something else while In the midst of writing something else. 🙄 so have a bit of venom steve with spiderman eddie. Promise that Never Say Die will be updated tomorrow after I get out of school (:
Eddies fingers stuck to the ceiling, somehow holding his entire weight. Now, years later he was still confused as to how the hell a ceiling didn’t just collapse when he was crawling across it. There is no explanation for the things he can do. All he knows his that he can do them, and no matter what he’s going to bring Justice for his Uncle. The Harrington’s were the last stone that was left unpicked. The last clue to the mystery. If he didn’t find answers here then Wayne Munson’s death was going to be for nothing. And worst of all his Uncle wouldn’t receive Justice. So that’s how he finds himself crawling around Robert Harrington’s office. Waiting patiently for the older man to leave.
The man’s glasses were falling off his nose, but he was so concentrated on reading his papers that he doesn’t even notice. Whatever that was in those documents must be really important. Eddie moves closer to the window like doors that lead to the balcony. Of course the rich bastard had those. Slowly, and as silent as possible he drops down from the ceiling. Crouching on the carpet, hoping that he didn’t make a wrong move and alert the man. Which was why he hadn’t entered through the doors now behind him. Carefully, he crawls to one of the curtains. Using it as a cover, moving and standing behind it. Becoming one with the cloth. He felt stupid but he didn’t care.
His legs start to ache from standing for so long. Twenty minutes pass before anything exciting happens. Robert Harrington’s doors fling open the rest of the way. A loud crack from the wall, where the door knob created a reasonable hole in. There, stood the most beautiful boy Eddie has ever seen. Wearing a outdated polo and blue jeans. If he wasn’t currently on a mission, he would have fallen on his face from stupidity. He would be lying if he said there wasn’t a slight drool puddle forming in his mask. He knew he was gay, but this guy buried any doubt in his mind (which there was very little to begin with) into the ground.
His eyes have a fiery look to them. Like he was on a rampage of some sort. How a angel like him could possibly hurt a fly was beyond him.
“Stop drooling over Steve Fucking Harrington, Eddie. And focus on what they’re talking about. The suits not catching their voices dipshit.” Henderson’s voice startles Eddie back to his main purpose. If he could move, he would shut off his ear piece the other hand made him. Internally he’s already making note to swat the little shit upside the head when he got home.
Discreetly moving his hand, he subtly rolls one of the gadgets Dustin made him. Watching it roll under Robert Harrington’s desk. The mic catching their voices now. Though Eddie could hear them with the naked ear, Dustin could not.
“Father-” Steve Harrington’s voice is louder then what Eddie imagined it to be. Though he doesn’t understand why he was imagining it in the first place.
“Don’t talk to me like that young man. Remember who you’re talking to.” Mr. Harrington’s voice is in a low growl. Holding his authority the best he can. Though, like with his business the authority he once had over his son was slipping through his finger tips.
“Yeah- I’m talking to Robert Harrington. The biggest fraud of New York City.” Steve has a feral grin on his face. Eddie could barely see him through the curtain, his heart was racing as he’s sure he could see him if he glanced over at any second. “Now- Mom wanted me to tell you, that Dinners done. And that if you don’t go down to eat, she’s going to to cut your balls off.” Steve grins.
“Eddie there’s something off about him.” Dustin’s carefully mumbling into his ear now. “Look at his hands.” He points out.
Eddie listens almost immediately. Eyes flashing towards the others hands that now gripped the corners of his fathers desk. His veins didn’t look right. They looked black? And like they were crawling under his skin. Eddie wasn’t sure what was making his hands to look like that but there was something terribly wrong. He’s heard tales about the Harrington boy. About how he was the nicest one out of them. Now Eddie didn’t personally know him, but his gut was telling him that there was something off about this guy. Most likely he didn’t act like this way normally.
Robert Harrington stands up, jaw set tightly as he moves slamming the book that he was looking through. Moving and closing it in a drawer and locking it shut. Before he’s moving, walking out of the room without a word. Steve’s eyes immediately flicker to the curtain. A amused look on his face as he relaxes his shoulders a bit. “You know there are better hiding places in here.” He says calmly. Hands fidgeting a bit as his veins seem to start to crawl faster. Wrapping themselves around his hands.
Eddie doesn’t see the point in hiding anymore. He moves, walking carefully with his hands up in defense. Steve’s eyes never leave him. “What are you doing in my fathers study?”
“Looking for answers.” Eddie says simply. Sounding vague.
“Hm- mind sharing with the class?” Steve sasses. Crossing his arms over his chest. Hiding his hands, trying to control whatever that was currently happening to his body. Though Eddie could now see that the others veins on his neck were beginning to do the same thing. Moving up to his face, which was scrunching up in a pained expression.
“Eddie.” Dustin’s warns. Sounding a bit to anxious for Eddie’s liking.
“Um- Justice? Hey dude are you alright?” Eddie asks moving forward carefully. Not expecting the other to turn violent. Just as fast as the other entered the office, whatever black substance takes over his body. Reaching out and grabbing ahold of Eddie, before throwing him out the glass door.
Before he is forcefully removed from the others property though, he swears he catches a glimpse of panic and remorse written all over Steve Harrington’s face. Up until whatever that shit was, warps it’s self around his face. Creating a new one. One that he recognized from a few of his past crusades.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - Expanded Marvel's New York
youtube
Digital Deluxe Trailer
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch for PlayStation 5 on October 20, 2023.
Latest details
Expanded Marvel’s New York
In the video, Creative Director Bryan Intihar provides a deep dive into our expanded Marvel’s New York, including the ways we’ve evolved the game since we last masked up and played as our Spider-Men. New locations, updated exploration, exhilarating traversal, near-instant switching between heroes, a rogue’s gallery of villains, new abilities and gadgets, and brand-new Suit Styles are just some of the ways we’re upping the game this time around.
So, what’s new?
In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we’re nearly doubling the size of Marvel’s New York. Expanding beyond the East River, you’ll swing and soar over iconic landmarks across Queens and Brooklyn—complete with story missions, side quests, and city activities! This expansion also means even faster traversal options such as the Web Wings, which can be combined with traditional web swinging to move at exhilarating speeds.
Players will also be able to switch between Peter Parker and Miles Morales in the open world, near-instantly thanks to the power of the PlayStation 5. Both Spider Heroes are important characters to the grand story we’re telling in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and each will have their own separate side stories to uncover throughout the city. Help students at Brooklyn Visions as Miles Morales or accept new requests for aid as Peter Parker via the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man app—you can even choose to tackle certain activities as either Spider-Man!
Kraven the Hunter and the monstrous Venom join our roster of villains and will strain our heroes, their relationships, and the place they call home. However, they’re not the only two villains causing trouble in the city. We won’t spoil it for you—but our Spideys will need to, ahem, #BeGreaterTogether, to stop them using many new skills, gadgets, and abilities!
In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we’ve layered on a new set of abilities and skills for our heroes: Pete’s new Symbiote powers and Spider-Arms are aggressive and relentless; meanwhile, Miles brings an electrifying and thunderous quality to his bioelectric venom power, as well as Evolved venom abilities. Mix, match, and deploy these abilities with ease using a streamlined control scheme and combo them in fights in all-new Spidey style!
Speaking of style, let’s talk suits! Featuring 65 suits, which include new original designs and fan favorites from films and comics, players will have an expansive wardrobe of costumes to equip in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. We’re also delighted to announce Suit Styles, an all-new feature that unlocks alternate color shaders for some suits, which provide over 200 ways for you to outfit your Spider-hero!
The Digital Deluxe Edition
In May, we also revealed the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Digital Deluxe Edition featuring 10 exclusive Spidey suits, additional Photo Mode items, and 2 Skill Points. To bring these 10 suits to life, we partnered with several artists across comics, games, and films! We spoke with these artists to give us a little insight into their designs. We’ll be sharing deeper dives into these suits on Insomniac Games’ official social media accounts, so stay tuned!

Stone Monkey Suit – Designed by Victoria Ying: Heavily inspired by Chinese legends, this suit brings an acrobatic and uniquely mischievous design to the world of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The suit is practical and stylish!
Tactical Suit – Designed by Bend Studios: From Bend’s concept artists Joel Mandish and Darren Quach, the Tactical Suit is inspired by Japanese media and the vast universe of comics. It’s a futuristic and lighter design that stands out in our roster of Digital Deluxe Edition suits.
Aurantia Suit – Designed by Raf Grassetti: The Aurantia Suit is an evolution of traditional Spider-Man designs that incorporates slick and practical spider motifs! Highlights include antennas infused into the mask elements, giving it a stealthy appearance made for Peter Parker!
25th Century Suit – Designed by Anthony Francisco: Featuring an ultramodern design, this suit incorporates a unique fishbowl-like helmet and an array of lights. This futuristic suit sports bulky yet fashionable boots and a sleek design all around.
The EnC0ded Suit – Designed by Kris Anka: The EnC0ded Suit brings a cyberpunk flare to Miles Morales’ wardrobe! If you look closely at the suit, you may spot a few interesting details such as abstract lettering reminiscent of popular phrases from Spider-Man lore!
Biomechanical Suit – Designed by Jerad Marantz: The merger between organics and mechanics, the Biomechanical Suit is inspired by popular anime creature designs, pushing an “otherworldly” style in its use of materials and themes.
Red Spectre Suit – Designed by Sweeney Boo: Let’s paint the town red! The Red Spectre Suit spotlights the young and adventurous nature of Miles Morales. It merges Spidey’s heroic motifs with stylish fashion!
Tokusatsu Suit – Designed by Julia Blattman: This design takes heavy inspiration from the world of insects and live-action Japanese media known as Tokusatsu. The design keeps Miles Morales’ iconic red and black color palette and incorporates a grand sense of Tokusatsu-like heroism!
Agimat Suit – Designed by Anthony Francisco: Inspired by the indigenous tribes of the Philippines, the Agimat Suit is a playful and colorful design suited for Miles Morales. The suit gives off a hint of royalty with its high contrast purple and gold color palette!
On top of all the exciting news today, we’re thrilled to announce a special collaboration with EARTHGANG (feat. Benji) to bring you “Swing,” a new music track featured in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Listen to it first in our Digital Deluxe Edition trailer! For “Swing” and other music from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you can listen to the full soundtrack showcasing a score from award-winning composer John Paesano on your favorite music streaming platform starting October 20th.

Yuri Lowenthal always wanted to be Spider-Man — and he’s got proof. As we chat over Zoom weeks ahead of the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, he excitedly whips out a photo of himself as a child, clad in that signature Spidey mask.
“That’s me and my sister. I must have been, like, five. That’s her as Batman. And me wearing the Spider-Man mask. If you had told that kid that when he got older, and arguably, too old, that he’d get to play Spider-Man…” he trails off. “That doesn’t even compute. It really is just a dream that I hope I never wake up from.”
The veteran voice actor has portrayed Peter Parker in various projects since 2011, but he really hit it big when he landed the titular role in Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man series, the first game of which was published in 2018. For his work, Lowenthal was nominated for best performance at The Game Awards that year.
When he returned to portray Peter for the highly-anticipated sequel, which dropped on Oct. 20, Lowenthal couldn’t rest on his laurels. In the game, Peter becomes entangled with Venom, a murderous alien symbiote with a frightening hive mind. As the symbiote takes hold, Peter becomes increasingly aggressive (both verbally and in combat), a significant departure from the happy-go-lucky character fans are accustomed to.
“I’m gonna be honest with you, it was hard for me, because Peter is your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man,” Lowenthal tells Variety. “To make Peter not friendly was difficult for me, because I’d gotten into a place where Pete was easy. Pete is me. We’re friendly and we’re helpful, and I understood all the decisions as we went along.”
“Getting him to the place that he gets to was difficult, because it felt so antithetical to who Pete is. I was exhausted at the end of those sessions in a way that I’m not usually exhausted. Psychologically, it was difficult to push Pete into those things, and it tired me out in a way that I was not expecting,” he continues.
Of course, Lowenthal didn’t work alone in crafting the symbiotized Peter, collaborating with Venom actor and horror icon Tony Todd. A big grin flashes across Lowenthal’s face when I mention Todd. “Can we just talk for a second about how awesome Tony is? He’s so cool. So cool. He’s so cool!”
“I’ve loved getting to work with him,” he adds. “That was a really big part of the process for us, because we knew it was an important part of the story. We really had to figure out how the symbiote affects Peter, not just as a blanket thing: At the beginning, how does it affect him? How does it affect him an hour into having the suit? How about two days into having the suit?”
In developing Peter’s dark side, Lowenthal drew inspiration from the properties of addiction. “At the beginning, when Pete first gets the suit, it is the best thing in the world. He’s jazzed: ‘I’ve got all these new powers, I can be a better Spider Man. It’s a win-win! I am the greatest! This is the best thing that’s ever happened to me!’ Which is how drugs are that first time, and then it starts to take its toll,” he says. “That shiny new energy wears off. You’re more a slave to what it does to you than in control of it.”
Lowenthal didn’t have to live in that headspace for the entirety of recording, though. He also played on the opposite end of the spectrum, portraying teenage Peter in a series of flashbacks. While the first Insomniac Spider-Man game picked up years after Peter became a superhero, these scenes give a rare glimpse at a naïve kid adjusting to his new powers. At one point, he even forgets where he’s stored his spare web-shooters.
“I was excited that Insomniac decided to make that first game eight years after he gets bitten by a radioactive spider, because we’ve seen that so many times,” Lowenthal says. “You didn’t get to see that part of Peter’s experience and his life in that first game at all. And while we didn’t need it, hopefully seeing some of it in this game, you’ll realize how much maybe you missed it a little bit. It’s okay to go back.”
These scenes gave 52-year-old Lowenthal a chance to flex his ability to sound significantly younger. “When I first came out to Los Angeles to be a movie star, like everybody else, so much of that work was about how I looked. I couldn’t play that if I didn’t look like that. Whereas in this world, if I can sound like that, I could be that. So, luckily, I’ve had a little a little practice in the ‘sounding like a teenager’ department.”
In the flashbacks, fans also get more details on Peter’s friendship with Harry Osborne (Graham Phillips), who returns in this game after being seemingly cured from the illness that kept him isolated for years. “We’ve talked about the relationship between Pete and Harry. We haven’t gotten to experience it yet,” Lowenthal says. “It’d be one thing to say, ‘Hey, Harry’s back. Remember? We love Harry! They’re good friends.’ What a brilliant way for them to create the relationship that we all need to feel in this game between Pete and Harry for anything to work.”
Spider-Man isn’t the only big project Lowenthal has rolled out recently. He voiced fan-favorite character Smoke in Warner Bros. Games’ Mortal Kombat 1, which released in September. Lowenthal admits he wasn’t as familiar with the franchise as he was with Marvel, though.
“I’m steeped in Spider-Man. I grew up reading comic books. I was not a big Mortal Kombat player,” he says. “In my first session with Dominic Cianciolo, who was the writer and the voice director, I’m like, ‘I love that I get to play a new character in Mortal Kombat!’ He’s like, ‘Oh, honey. Smoke is not a new character. We haven’t seen him in a while, but he’s not a new character.’”
Lowenthal adds that roles like that don’t just fall into his lap, even at his level of expertise and notoriety. “I know everybody thinks that at this stage of my career, I don’t have to audition for anything anymore, which couldn’t be further from the truth. If I’m lucky, I’m still auditioning multiple times in one day.”
And perhaps it’s this constant auditioning that makes Lowenthal feel so connected to Hollywood’s ongoing labor disputes. At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con in July, where Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 became the first game to appear in Hall H for a panel, he made an impassioned plea in support of striking creatives. “We are here this weekend, but we stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters and everybody at the WGA and SAG,” he said. “We’re able to be here because we’re in a different contract for games, but that might not last forever.”
Within months, that prediction became much more real, as SAG-AFTRA members voted overwhelmingly in September to authorize a strike against 10 major video game companies (including Insomniac and WB Games).
“We’re fighting for essentially the same things that the writers were fighting for. The same thing that our film and TV actor brothers and sisters are fighting for,” Lowenthal says. “I’m hoping that the gains that were made by the writers recently will help make our strike shorter.”
“Something that I think will affect everyone going forward is the application of AI. None of us are against technology,” he adds. “But I think because it’s so new, and has such a potential to exploit the people who helped create it — the performances that were fed into machines to create it — we just need to establish some guidelines, and an open line of communication between performers, writers, creatives and AI companies, so that we can all be on the same page.”
Lowenthal continues, “I know a lot of people are like, ‘Y’all just want more money.’ Sure, I would love to be paid for work that I contributed to. But even more than that, it’s a consent issue. If all of a sudden, you can take our data and just make us do whatever you want to, it feels bad. I think anybody can sympathize with that and go, ‘Yeah, I would hate to get puppeted into saying something or doing something that I never did or wanted to do.’”
On Oct. 16, SAG-AFTRA announced that it will schedule more bargaining sessions on a new video game contract, in hopes of averting a second strike. For now, Lowenthal can bask in the glory of the new Spider-Man release.
“The people who work on this game truly love Spider-Man and love telling these stories,” he says. “Nobody’s coasting on that first game. Nobody’s like, ‘Well, that was good enough.’ What they tried to do with this game was to up everything, and I just hope that people feel that.”

Spider-Man 2 verse draft (2.0)
As mentioned in the pinned post and the about page, I write a Harry Osborn mainly inspired by Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man games (and the Hostile Takeover novel) but with heavy inspiration from other sources, such as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie. I also started writing Harry as the Green Goblin around six months before the launch of the second game, and at this point it's an intrinsic part of the portrayal.
So, Spider-Man 2 and after Spider-Man 2: let's talk about the differences between the game and my portrayal.
Regarding the Green Goblin:
After almost three years in stasis, and approximately two months before the start of the second game, Harry is taken out of the tank and the Symbiote rejects him shortly after. That leaves Harry himself joining the desperate search to find a cure, and he's a key player in developing the G-serum.
This G-serum, at this point, is imperfect and painful but it works. And while Harry does not publicly show himself just yet, the Green Goblin appears as his desperate way to obtain Spider-Man's blood, and reverse-engineer its healing factor.
Shortly before the events of the game, the newest G-Serum formula fails. Harry bonds again with the Symbiote in yet another reckless, desperate attempt... and it works, this time. The Goblin vanishes as he appeared, two months after the first sighting.
Regarding the events of the game:
Harry works at Oscorp until the Emily-May foundation is ready to begin operations, and then goes back to working there for a short while after it's destroyed, until Harry's rampage as Venom.
The Symbiote, once bonded, absorbs the effects of the goblin Serum. Harry's fighting style as Venom is still very much that of the Goblin, in many ways, for all he tries to hide it.
Harry is not particularly interested in becoming a vigilante, having already many responsibilities on his plate. Still, he worries, especially after knowing who the Spider-Men are, and between that and a certain guilt for his actions as the Green Goblin, he ends up helping out anyway.
Harry also prepares the serum before Peter brings the Symbiote back to Oscorp, and injects himself with it hours -despite knowing it will likely fail again, because he's getting that desperate- before he has the chance to bond with the Symbiote.
Regarding the situation after the game:
As the serum exists, Norman perfects it and gives it to Harry two months after he's taken to the hospital. Between the new dose and the traces remaining in his system, after around a week of steady changes it allows him to wake up... and remain apparently stable in what used to be the phase 2 of the serum, with enhancements but keeping his appearance.
Despite the events that transpired at Oscorp, and the way they've been covered up, Harry reveals his return to the world by returning to work at Oscorp as his father's right hand.
Knowing what he knows about the Spider-Men and their identities, the Goblin is no longer an active supervillain. It's still a tool Harry uses when needed, and is not above revealing if the situation absolutely calls for it, but generally speaking the Green Goblin is gone. All is well.
And then, one by one, some of the other test subjects of the G-Serum begin to die, to disappear, or to attack others seemingly unprovoked.

Random JP Headcanons (SFW, hobbies and lifestyle edition)
Likes doing the laundry and ironing his clothes himself when he can. Cybele likes it too: he loves sleeping on the fresh, warm pile of clothes.
Knows a dedicated tailor through Shadaloo (maybe a team of them), who makes sure to provide JP with the right outfit for the job.
Appearances and fashion are important when deceiving people, so he takes the time to research and wear clothes that will get him the respect or response he needs.
(Such as the Nayshalli-esque suit from the comics, and robes from arcade mode he wears while in the midst of executing his plan for the tournament, but once it's over, he changes into something following his personal tastes a la Alt Costume 2).
Probably knows how to cook, but more often eats at local restaurants and such. Not only does it taste better and saves him the effort of preparing a whole meal, they double as building rapport with business owners, or places to host importat guests for lunch/dinner.
Part of him really does enjoy travelling the world, learning about, and bonding with the people he's plotting to use for his own gain. He just doesn't care quite enough to feel bad for them.
He loves dissecting what makes people tick and finding the exact ways to manipulate or take advantage of their desires, weakness, and habits. It's much like a game for him, to see what he can do and how far he can take it, but still get away without conseauences. Reminds me of a certain attorney one must better call.
Doesn't like sleep because it's a waste of time. That said, makes sure to sleep, but just enough to not be tired, less he make the wrong decision in exhaustion.
Takes short naps with Cybele curled up in his lap. But Cybele, too, doesn't stay still for long, and they both get back to their lives soon enough.
Somewhat of an insomniac. He'd rather stay awake in bed thinking of the next stage of his plans, the logistics of his current one, or whether he made sure to feed Cybele today.
Definitely a workaholic, he's constantly working on some nefarious plan or another, keeping himself busy and his schedule full. I'm sure he spends a lot of time just dedicated to covering his tracks, and making sure his schemes are watertight to prevent any in the first place.
In an interview with devs, they said his theme is inspired to be something JP himself would be listening to as he thinks of his next move. So he definitely enjoys having music playing in the background while he works.
Enjoys various orchestral pieces, or operas, ballet, the works. Based on his win quotes for Manon ("Ballet is truly one of humanitiy's greatest achievements.") and Zangief ("Seeing you, I can't help but recall Mosolov's Iron Foundry, tovarisch."), I'm opting for the easy route and nominating Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev as some of his favorites.
I'd go into more detail about which composers or ballets he'd like, but I don't know enough about music to go too deep. That said, I swear parts of his theme are references to . something. They just sound so familiar...
Likes chess puzzles... but I'm personally not a fan of their decision to make this his canon. It seems so obvious and typical for the "evil puppet master pulling the strings behind the curtains" kinda badguy y'know?
I much rather enjoy his connection with playing cards, as if they wanted to go for a 'safe' hobby for his manipulator/ deceiver type character, poker would make a lot of sense. Chess just seems forced in there, whereas he has visual connections to playing cards with his overall design, font for his name, World Tour moment with the Antique Playing Cards gift, etc.
My hc though, would be pool/ billiards. It fits the dapper, gentlemanly aesthetic he has going on, and he wields a cane, invoking pool cue energy. He'd like practicing and perfecting those crazy trick shots. Plus, Venom from Guilty Gear: it's the ranged, purple energy, tricky type character vibes.
He says in his World Tour conversations that he doesn't keep up to date with the latest news or gossip too well... which is a blatant lie.
His entire recent plot against Ken and Nayshall hinged on using social media virality, sensationalistic news reports, and manipulating public opinion through conspiracy and entertainment: and there's no way he pulled this off by being ignortant to what the audience craves, or what the internet likes to consume.
Plus he was an accountant/ financial advisor with a keen interest in human psychology, the economy, sociology, morality, and culture. He most definitely keeps a close eye on the latest trends or world wide news, out of genuine curiosity and fascination in people, if not out of necessity to make his schemes work right.
#and this got really long but one thought leads to the next#and by the time i realize it's already morning#sf6 jp#jp rambles#this one is sfw but i'll do a spicier edition uhm. later. eventually.

Artist Post - Dustin Brown
28/04/2024
(Brown, 2024)
While getting some final inspiration before submitting my pre-production work, I found this piece by Dustin Brown. This is a 3D modelled character made using Maya. Dustin is a senior character artist at Insomniac Games, so this is a really high quality art piece to take inspiration from.
Venom has a similar head shape to the character I want to create, so in this piece I'm really looking at the way he has modelled his teeth and mouth shape. Additionally, the overall bulkiness of the character is something I'm now looking at, so using this model as a reference for muscle placement in the arms and legs will help me with my own experimentation.
The overall shininess of this model is really effective for the character. Venom is meant to be an alien that attaches to a host for survival on Earth, wrapping around the human body. The shine gives it an almost slimy look, which is exactly what this character needs. I'm looking at making my character have a slimy look overall too, like its skin is always a bit wet, so I will need to look at textures with different roughness's to achieve this.

YOUUUUU!!!!!
TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS PLEASE I BEG OF THEE
https://www.tumblr.com/proheromidoriyashouto/724701739947884544/an-atsv-au-where-gabi-lived-and-has-a-son-named?source=share
I wish I had more of an au about this specifically for you.🩻🩻🩻LMAO It actually inspired a more bad end Spider!Gabi variant AU. Gabi Lives but her son does not, for medical neglect reasons. She spirals but Peter (still spiderman but along the lines of a venom variation) and the Web Warriors of their 'verse help her from going to the point of no return by reminding her that Hope is a choice to made everyday and her little Miguel Andres wouldn't want her to lose it all over him. She would want to remember him with love.
She goes underground-vigilante/the Punisher from then on while Peter does the daylight/limelight spiderman stuff and thats the norm for a long time. Gabi heals, but that and previous trauma resulting in her own "Hero's Origins" as a teen have left scars. Then the Avengers a la Ironman reach out for the Web Warriors to aid in fighting Thanos on Titan.
Specifically, Gabi's vigilante persona, since she has a Plot Device/thing~ that could give them an edge against the Mad Titan and half the spidey team leaves for space with her while the rest stay behind with Peter.
Titan happens.
Kingpin's Collider happens.
Everyone but Gabi and Ironman and Nebula died in space.
Gabi comes home to find Peter dead, a new spiderman flipping around under his name, and the remains of the Web Warriors in tatters.
Figuring out who Miles is pretty quickly--she was spidering with Peter for 10 years or so, she's a veteran of the game--she gives him the run down.
Their villains are tough. If Miles is just starting out at level 1 spiderman after a week, Gabi's party of spiders grinded their enemies to level 40 through merciless beat-down-grudge-match cage fighting for over a decade. He'll stand no chance against their rogue's gallery on his own once they start making moves to fill the power vacuum.
Kingpin particularly poses an issue since he's had heroes and their loved one's assassinated in broad daylight before. Even the smallest slip can compromise people which is why Gabi and Peter formed a team to watch out for each other. It worked, until they made the choice to split up, anyway.
So, knowing that Miles is young and scared trying to figure this out on his own, she offers herself as his mentor in Peter's place. She'll assume a more public persona to purposefully draw more attention as the real threat to villainy between the two of them, and Spiderman will swing through the boroughs of New York protecting its citizens.
Her new alter-ego is called Felicidades! and people publicly cheer it out when they see her. (She sets it up with some friends the first few times til it takes off.) Gabi wants Miles to really feel like heroes "bring hope" when they arrive and not lose his spark the way its been dimmed for her. She's been hardened by the loss of friends and personal suffering, but refuses to
Gabi in this AU is specifically Miguel Juan O'Hara and Xina Kwan's daughter. Miguel worked for Alchemax until he tried to leave and they orchestrated his death though she could never prove it. (Inspired by another au-In every Universe, she is Loved by Tired_Writing_Teach
???I think. It's been a while since I read it. )
Xina Kwan was the Black Cat in their 'verse before she met Miguel until her death when Gabi was young.
After Miguel's death when she was a pre-teen, Gabi wound up in the custody of Tyler Stone and was subject to experimentation that Peter helped save her from which is how they met and provided the Plot Device that made her crucial to killing Thanos.
Gabi identified previously as a spiderwoman along with four of the other Web Warriors, but in creating a new persona she identifies as Felicidades! the Lucky Cat. She is a Miguel!ATSV!spider-variant type, with some Insomniac!Black Cat bits thrown in, and a ton of fun stuff because she's my daughter and I love Ironman. (Her moves are largely the same but since she was more of a "black-ops" vigilante before most people won't recognize her. And if they do, they can't prove it.)
The AU from the post sparked this but didn't flesh out on its own, unfortunately.
#a Gabi Lives AU just not the one you wanted lol rip bro#atsv au#gabriella o'hara can be spiderwoman and the black cat girls can be 2 things#and the spot is their friend which serves to piss off ATSV!miguel#her miles and 1610B miles are going to meet#its all in my head#i have another one but thats more of a venom!gabi verse#and by that i mean a sleeper!gabi 'verse and boy howdy i love being mean to my girl

Hackers claimed to have leaked over 1.3 million files from Sony Corp. division Insomniac Games, maker of the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. The enormous leak includes game roadmaps, budgets, and detailed information about Insomniac’s upcoming Wolverine game, which a document says is slated for 2026. According to the files, Sony plans to release several Marvel-inspired titles in the next decade, including Spider-Man 3, based on Venom and X-Men games. The files also reference a new Ratchet & Clank game apparently slated for 2029.
Insomniac and Marvel’s licensing commitment is as high as $621 million to develop and market the X-Men games by 2035, according to one document, which was one of many circulating on the internet. Sony did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Cyberdaily.au previously reported the leak. [...]

After the Sovereign post last night, I feel a bit more comfortable talking about the rest of the team, so here's a brief overview of what my inspirations are for these iterations of the characters, in the order that I expect them to join the team.
Entries with question marks are ones I'm still uncertain on, so if you guys have any ideas, I'd be happy to hear them. Also for entries with multiple inspirations, the one's in bold are the main ones, with any others being supplementary to compliment either their Persona's element, or just them in general
The Phantom Champions (Name not final)
Aaron/Joker = Spider-Man
Futaba = Ironheart, with elements of Ned Leeds from the MCU or Ganke from Insomniac Spider-Man (aka "Guy in the chair")
Ryuji = Electro (though he's still a hero), Static Shock (not Marvel but it felt fitting), with elements of Flash Thompson (the good elements, he's not a bully, nor was he ever)
Makoto = Venom, elements of Gwen Stacy (a mix of TASM, Spectacular, and Spider-Gwen)
Ann = Black Cat, Firestar, elements of Mary Jane Watson
Haru = Psylocke? Invisible Woman? Elements of Felicia Hardy
Yusuke = Iceman? (I want someone else to pair that with, but I can't think of any that fit)
Kasumi = Silk, Dagger, Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan)
Hifumi = Honestly still undecided. I just know I want her on the team (Best guess at this point is like... Ronin or Hawkeye, but those are both a stretch to me)
Morgana = Wolverine? Rocket Racer or Night Thrasher?
Sae = Daredevil (Electra)? Maybe She Hulk?
Akechi = Moon Knight, elements of Harry Osborn
Sophia = Viv Vision, elements of Friday and Vision
Zenkichi = Toxin
The "elements of" parts are things that would effect them out of costume, though those elements would be very minor, mostly just little nods here and there. For the most part, they're still the same characters you know, they're just in different roles.
The way I approached this whole thing was as a "What If?" scenario. Where one small change in the past caused a butterfly effect that altered the present. So if I didn't think it'd make sense to change, I didn't change it. The only real exception to this is Makoto's dad being alive at the beginning, but even that could be explained as an unseen consequence of that butterfly effect.
I also tried to keep everyone Spider-Man adjacent, but some cases it's a lot harder to do that with while still keeping it a good fit.
A lot of this stuff still needs fleshed out, but these are the basics. Curious to get some opinions on this... and maybe some suggestions for Yusuke, Haru, and Hifumi because dear Lord do I need help with them
#au thoughts#phantom spider au#again this is just for fun. none of this will have any bearing on this account unless plotted out beforehand#though at this point it's looking more and more likely that I'll end up making that multi-muse account for the rest of the team#also not everyone gets their powers as soon as they join. Futaba is actually one of the last people to gain their Persona#OOC - Out of Costume;

adding onto this, if you dont like insomniac venom because this easily couldve been a goblin story...
yeah no thats entirely fair and i see where you're coming from
harry didn't need to be venom in order for this story to work but im guessing they just. REALLY wanted venom in this one
i like what they did for the most part but the messy parts are very apparent and it makes me wish they just did the black suit in this game and had peter fight against harry osborn as hobgoblin or something,(this event inspiring norman to become the green goblin in the next game, kinda taking what his son did and trying to honor him in a way) with the regret coming from peter's actions corrupting the symbiote instead of the symbiote overcompensating for peter's wants and needs, and then do venom in a shorter game *afterwards*
yeah it'd be a black suit story where we don't get venom by the end, but the comics went a little while with peter not having the symbiote but venom wasn't around, so why not adapt *that* part of the story?
again, i like insomniac venom, but i feel like there couldve been something else done to make this story even better
who knows, maybe if we get a venom spinoff game we can right the wrongs that this game did in its third act, despite the things it did right
lemme say it louder for all of the people who still have problems with this guy:
HE'S NOT EDDIE BROCK.
yeah, yeah, i know, whatever, you wanted eddie brock, i did too, believe me, this was the outcome i wanted the LEAST, and insomniac harry is NOT my favorite venom
but whenever you criticize insomniac venom, i can't help but notice that all of the critiques in question are rooted in stuff that eddie brock was known for
you want harry to be all of these different things and ALL of those things are things that eddie brock did and all of those things are what made HIS venom so special
the goofiness, being an anti-hero, the specific way that he hates spider-man, all of that
you guys hate insomniac venom because he's harry osborn, and not eddie brock
i get you don't like venom and goblin being so tied at the hip, believe me, i don't either, venom calling norman osborn "dad" is NEVER gonna sound right, and the ultimate cartoon fumbled the ball hard
but look at this venom for what HE does and not what eddie does
you gave THESE two a chance but not harry?
"that's different" no the fuck it isn't you and i both know that these two are WILDLY different takes on venom
and i see NO ONE bitching about them
this is a new take on venom, with a person that has practically never worn the symbiote before because by god did the ultimate cartoon barely even try, give it a shot
holy shit
if you don't like insomniac venom, that's fine, trust me
but judge him on his own merits, don't judge him based on what eddie brock did, or what flash thompson did, or what dylan brock did, or, fuck, even what mac gargan, angelo fortunato, lee price, and peter parker did

𝙸 𝚆𝙰𝙽𝚃 𝚈𝙾𝚄 𝙰𝙳𝙳𝙸𝙲𝚃𝙴𝙳 𝚃𝙾 𝙼𝙴
summary : laying with you i feel like moving clouds high in the sky
pairings : aki hayakawa x fem! reader
caution warnings : smoking (cigarettes), mentions of fingering, a fic without a plot
words : 1.6k
inspiration : cigarette (ft. Tablo, Miso) — offonoff
Aki is cautious, even on his days off, he’s still highly aware of his surroundings and refuses to put his guard down. Paranoia laced his bones like a second skin, flooding his sanity and bathed him in alamort—his colleagues taunting him with obscene mouthfuls, referring to his tension as volatile metallics. He reminds them that it’s always better safe than sorry at the end of a job, his eyes always glazed in wet, insomniac entrapment. Of course, nobody took him seriously until after they were dead.
So in these lunar gold moments, where evening arrived too early, he wandered inside a morphean building with shame and guilt. The inclescent sign that read ‘DECADENCE’ in English flashed against the ebony ink night sky; showing the dense population of Tokyo that they were willing to open their doors for the damned and beautiful. Even inside the crimson illuminated lobby, where only one man sat at the front desk, Aki still kept his guard as he unconsciously created half moon circles into his salt stain palm from the tip of his nails. He nodded his head to the man with cimmerian eyes, who in return smiled at his favorite patron as the man pointed to the ceiling.
See, boy of misfortune that’s laved in bittersweet sickness was rooted to this love hotel for two years now, his feet pierced in magnetic obsession that always had him crawling back. He was a regular, someone the staff knew by name, despite the hatred that calloused him of how easily they spoke his name. It rolled off their tongues like venom and they made it sound harsh—their tone the equivalent of choking of funeral soil. He hated the illusion of their voices and it could be the overwhelming shame that made him hate them, but he can’t shake the feeling that they could be dangerous.
He held his breath as he looked at the man, feeling the apprehension kissed his skin as he melted into a cold sweat, but he understood. That she was waiting for him in the same room that overlooked the same LED sign that promoted the same ramen stall on the same main street. Aki left the same lobby to take the same left turn to the same ricody staircase, climbing the same nine floors up as the warm light bathed him in hues of champagne drip. He ignored the same art pieces that made him feel uncomfortable throughout the years of visiting, traveling down the same narrow hallway where the same wooden floors tripped him up before sighing at the same wooden door. Aki has frequented this room so casually that the owner of the hotel molded an exact replica of the key to this room.
The scent of peonies enveloped him into a serene eumoiriety as a sheen moisture of humidity coaxing his face, the strands of his acantho hair clung to his skin. The room was bare with little to offer besides a bed that was displayed in the center, adorned with the same pale blue sheets that Aki had messied and soiled with his own multitarian elixirs. In the far end of the room, the balcony doors were open to allow the evening winds to consume the fragments of fornication as the sheer curtains swayed against the current of cool zephyrs. Between the alterations of fabric, you stood amidst the foundation of taboos as you leaned your body against the iron railing, looking outwards towards a malice devoured city with half dead people being the buildment of a devil’s desire. Aki blinked as he watched your wet hair sway against the gust clear currents or how the tips of your hair dribbled warm water and pooled beneath you.
Aki pulled out the pack of cigarettes he recently purchased, tapping the cardboard box against his open palm with thunderous shockwaves in the hopes to pack the cigarettes tight. He fumbled with the packaging but he managed to quickly peel away the thin plastic that encased around the box and threw it to the ground; grabbing a cigarette between his fingers that stained his skin in the scent of tobacco and fig before brushing the filter against his bottom lip. Between the billowy curtains and harsh winds, Aki witnessed a scintilla of mist that blew east from your lips and dissipate into the astral atmosphere—the smell of your cheap cigarettes that were laced with poison was pungent. Aki watched, observing how the ash from your cigarette gravitated downwards towards the concrete versus the cherry cola ashtray that was shaped in a heart. He witnessed how your toes curled as you leaned your body down more against the railing, watching you lean further and further downwards until you began to slip.
“Idiot!” Aki cried, his calloused hands gripping your waist as he pulled you down into the depths of your shared room, “You need to be more careful!”
“I was completely fine, Hayakawa-san.” You rolled your eyes, “No need to worry about me.”
Aki lit his cigarette as he inhaled the first cigarette from the last two hours. His lungs inflated with venom that bit his esophagus, the taste of tobacco flowers shoving down his throat in between the bursts of nicotine obsession. He blew the mist from his nose, feeling his airwaves clog in an arcane burn, “I worry about you like I do anyone else.”
“Aweh, you think that highly of me?” You teased, flicking the end of your cigarette off the balcony.
“Don’t push your ego, you’re not that important to me.” Aki argued, “but I refuse to see any more people die in front of me.”
The beige chair in the corner collected the dust and ash shared between them from purgatory evenings, and despite it’s broken appearance, Aki still sat gingerly in his favorite chair. He quickly dragged another puff of his cigarette before welcoming you into his lap and cradling you close into his arms that were strained with catastrophic dolent. He hissed as your body connected with a freshly blue bruise that blotched him in orchids blooming beneath his flesh—before you could apologize, Aki shook his head and told you not to worry about it. You notice how his body heat radiated with nuclear fission and how it burned like a thousand suns, clearly he was overworking himself and his body is unable to keep up with the demands of his mentality. You couldn’t say anything though, knowing that he’ll get upset and excuse his hard work for determination and becoming the savior of a saccharine generation, so instead you encouraged him to smoke. Maybe chain smoking fifteen cigarettes will keep him bound to you a moment longer, distracting his pulsating hate for devils with the taste of attraction.
You grabbed another cigarette from your carton, placing it sweetly between your lips as your head hung off from the arm of your chair. Your hair mimicking cascades of waterfalls as it fails with the downward spiral of gravity, ichor pooling in your head as Aki lit the cigarette dangling between your peach gloss lips with your butane lighter (shaped and molded to resemble a lock and heart) that he found ridiculous. You inhale deeply through your nose, collecting the smoke into your lungs before you allow it to bleed into the atmosphere.
Aki set aside your lighter before returning his hand to the inside of your thigh, knowing that after two packs, while your organs are festering and dying, his long fingers will slip between the hem of your panties and thrust between your love. Deep conversations will fall into malicious silence as the only thing Aki can clearly comprehend is your soft moans echoing into the sky. His fingers buried deep within you in rhythmic depths as he looks outwards into the skyline of his newly acquired city—wondering what devils wandered about in the far corners of Tokyo before questioning what Makima was doing in this very moment. Sometimes, he’ll look at you and picture Makima unraveling beneath him, lips agape with apricot blush dusting her skin.
In his mind, he knew you were beautiful but you’ll never compare to Makima. Honestly, he doesn’t know why he’s so enamored with her but he’s drawn to her like the sun is with supernovas. There’s always something alluring about the mysterious darkness that blanketed over her, making her feel archaic and silver. To Aki, you were the light, something that felt safe yet dangerous. You can melt him, burn him and you could just as easily cremate him like any other fire devil—you were a hindrance to him but he was addicted to you like every cigarette shared amongst you. You brought life into halcyon days, where flowers stretch their long necks to kiss your nectar.
Besides, those are sensations and thoughts for later. You placed the cigarette you’ve kissed between his lips, allowing to suck and nurture on the vile as his spine relaxed further into the beige chair. His thumb swaying small circles into your flesh as he exhaled the taste of rot from the cheap cigarettes you loved so much. His stress induced head felt a tad bit high from the smoke and your touch that the world around him began to circle slowly and sweetly. His heart thrumming in euphoria as he gladly took another drag of your cigarette, cherishing the feeling of light fingertips against his chapped lips as you held the cigarette for him.
Decadence was a hotel he was swore was the gate to hell from his mortal reality, and somehow you lingered in the corrupt realm of the ninth floor as a distraction from the vile and decay he bathed in. Blood and killings were a part of his life just like how breathing, starving and lust was. However, on the ninth floor of a man made hell, you became a calm addiction that Aki craved—numbing the deaths of his buddies, colleagues and friends after a cry, a funeral and sex. The cigarettes shared between you were the conversations of apprehension, loss, pleasure and possible happy endings. The smell of your pastel breathing places him in a corrosive mood and suddenly, he could devour the moon raw.
You placed your fingers against his lips, encouraging him to take another long hit as the tan filter was eaten from the saliva shared between hallowed bodies. “Smoke up a glimpse of heaven.”

exposure writing. | part two.
twenty sentences, made possible by @monkbeauregard, @magnoliaash, @lady-of-himring, and @mostly-vo1d. writing while babysitting is slow going, but it’s going!
Now she is every bit more beautiful than she was before, the rich blue fur creeping up her arms a sign of their intense love and trust for one another. Still, it took a long time to get used to.
“She needs to understand the severity of the situation, mother,” Bastian argues without quite arguing. The venom vanishes from his tongue the moment that he is speaking to her, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. She already deals with enough as it is. “I’m just trying to make her understand. A fauna with Moon Mage abilities? It’s impossible. She’s just asking to be experimented on at this point. And she brings danger to the rest of us as well!”
“What’s done is done, dear heart,” she says, moving from the doorway to sit at the table across from me. With just a wave of her hand she inspires Bastian to sit down as well. With the change of stance comes a near instantaneous change of attitude; the anger that sets his shoulders like a brick wall drains from him just like that, and he slouches into the chair as if suddenly exhausted. After the day we’ve had… well. I’m pretty exhausted too. The sun has just barely set but I could go to bed with little trouble. With someone who self-identifies as an insomniac, that is really saying something. “Now all we can do is deal with the fallout. We’ll figure it out, kids. I don’t want either of you to worry.”

Tooz's Spring Challenge:
*2020 KISSING STUDY*
My challenge is a study in kissing. Choose an adverb or adjective as the title to describe a kiss that maybe you've never WRITTEN or DRAWN before. Please tag me and message me directly with a heads up. I would be devastated if I missed it.
Below I have a bunch of suggestions, but if you have a different word or phrase that speaks to you as inspiration, RUN WITH IT!!!! Plus, if you have more suggestions to add to the list, let me know and I'll add them to the original post.
For inspiration, here is the 2014 New York Times Annual Video Essay.
youtube
"In an essay for the magazine A.O. Scott writes about the history and importance of the movie kiss. “Cinema may not have invented kissing, but I suspect that over the course of the 20th century, movies helped make it more essential,” he writes. “What is undeniable is that movies — Hollywood movies especially, but far from exclusively — made kissing more visible. They established a glamorous iconography and an elegant choreography for an experience that, in real life, is frequently sloppy, clumsy and less than perfectly graceful.” The videos also serve to prove that thesis."
Quoted from Esther Zuckerman's article in Entertainment Magazine, December 10, 2014
Fluffy, Smutty, NSFW, Steamy, Awkward, Sloppy, Chaste, Fake, Deep, Teasing, Forbidden, Venomous, Lethal, Clumsy, Painful, First, Last, Love's True Kiss, Formal, Stolen, Intimidating, Humiliating, Disgusting, Tasty, Breathtaking, Stunning, Unexpected, Disappointing, Graceful, Deadly, Undead, Life Changing, Phantom, Hallucinated, Delusional, Manipulating, Coercive, Denied, Confessional, Platonic, Sexy, Stage Kiss, Pretend, 7 Minutes In Heaven, Spin the Bottle, Drinking Game, Truth or Dare, Kissing Booth, Blindfolded, Masked, Kissing Bandit, Blind Date, Kiss of Death, Kiss of Life, Resuscitating, Obligated, Imagined, Confusing, Wedding, Betraying, Orgasmic, Swoon Worthy, Dizzying, Boring, Regretted, Death's Seal, Fruity, Sticky, Slimy, Scratchy, Dry, Violent, Consensual, Non-consensual, Surprising, Dubiously Consensual, Inhuman, Godly, Animalistic, Bloody, Scary, Loving, Tender, Sensual, Stiff, Loveless, Reverent, Anonymous, Secretive, Sealing the Deal....
I can continue adding to this list. It's just a boatload of descriptors that popped into my head, definitely not all-inclusive. I haven't even broken out a thesaurus yet!
Artwork works too!!! I would be THRILLED to have art entries!!!! I bet everyone would be thrilled with art! How exciting if you did fanart specifically of someone's kiss story. Or vice versa! If someone wrote about your kiss artwork!!!
ANYONE CAN SUBMIT AND JOIN IN!
NO RULES! (Although please tag it /preface it with appropriate warnings so readers can be responsible readers. And if explicit or not safely for work, under 18 need to stay away.)
It's not a contest. It a challenge, a creative prompt. No time line. :-) This is all just for fun! I'm going to try to pop out some drabbles or short one shots to challenge myself too.

I'm going to be honest. A part of me doesn't even want to do this. But I find it funny I'm really keen on the idea of my take on Spider-Man, and what could be the MGADD version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Is that he is essentially a character with so much unresolved trauma and anger. He has gone through so much at such a young age. He's basically if the 616 version of him had all of that tragedy maybe thrown at him so quickly. Or even All that hurt maybe has pushed him away from people being close to him. That he's realizing how mentally ill he is. And not even his more "Super" allies/friends such as the Fantastic Four and Daredevil couldn't help him or the fact he isolated himself from them.
To where his "Unbreakable will" is tested because he's in a really dark place that he is close to becoming everything he stands against. And it was because an event or a series of events nearly broke him.
And I seem to really like this insane idea that not only is it Mary Jane Watson who helps him out of his darkest point. But it's also a 13 year old girl who saves him from that darkness because she represents the kind of hero everyone should be. Who inspires him to become the true Spider-Man he was once before. And him worrying about the similar Hell this kid could go through like him. But realizing she can take care of herself. Yet still acting like a brotherly figure to her. And if something were to happen to her, he would fight like Hell to make sure that kid is safe.
It's weird I like this crossover idea even though from what I know. These two in the 616 version have canonically met once or twice. But here I am making this idea of these two having a brother and sister relationship. And Peter and others realizing Lunella (The show version that is) is basically a positive parallel of what Peter could be.
Here's some of my Twitter threads about this.
If the links work on my phone. I'm going to be honest that during all of these developments. I even shared one of my drafts. I've been hesitant to make Peter much older. Mainly because I want him to be at an age where he can understand Lunella much more. And where his character development makes sense. Even though I feel like a way to look at this version is that he's maybe kind of like the Insomniac version. But he went through more 616 moments like he's fought Venom, he's maybe dealt with Sin Eater and whatever else. I'm wondering if I should even include the Stacy's because I...strangely don't like them. It's mainly Gwen Stacy who I have an issue with. But she doesn't die yet the situation with her and Peter is kind of worse. But giving her character development in a sense.
Also, Betty Brant basically filled in that gap already. I'm very aware of the "Coffee Bean" gang between Peter, MJ, Jerry, Gwen, and Flash. But do I want to cover that anyway? And me feeling like are the Stacy's even needed anymore when they are just going to die? The same could be said about others.
But honestly, the sibling-like relationship can/could still work if Peter is 12/10 years older than Lunella. Yet I'm also thinking of changing the age he became Spider-Man to 15 (His canonical age when he became Spider-Man) to 16. Maybe 16 instead, making his career as Spider-Man into 7 years. Yet he's dealt with a lot of shit already, he's a grown ass adult.
I genuinely like Spider-Man. And maybe I'll continue this. Especially as I replay Insomniac's Spider-Man 2. I decided to delete my original save. I still like the game.
I kind of want to make my "The Batman"/"Man of Steel" take on the character. But he's already gone over his origin. Yet these stories.
Looking into these and understanding their importance. Granted, I'd love to do something with Mysterio. I have ideas about him and he's one of my favorites. I have said before my ideas seem like they would be essentially a remake of the 1977 and 1978 movies for the CBS Amazing Spider-Man TV show. But you have more connections to the comics with characters from the comics.
I should be done talking about this now. This is why my focus is on other things and I worry of making something like Spider-Man Lotus. But that's me being too paranoid. Despite the funny fact I thought about jokes about my Spider-Man being "Imagine Simon Laurent if he got spider powers" and everyone just becomes hilariously terrified. Even though realistically, it's more like, "I envision Kyle McCarley voicing this guy." Or it could be Blake Roman.
To end this on a funny note. Here's this silly video featuring something Kyle actually said.

A silly thing I just wrote on Twitter because the Spider-Man fandom strangely annoyed me when looking it up on that site.
