there are multiple reasons that i think the popular fanon interpretation of tenrose where they were having sex in season two doesn't make any sense and is objectively wrong but really when i entertain the idea that they were having an explicitly sexual romantic relationship the way people think they were (and yet we never saw them kiss, never saw them even LEAN IN TO KISS) i get very frustrated because that's a completely different relationship than what we saw on screen and it doesn't make me feel validated at all.

their relationship is deep and romantic and valuable without the kissing, because it's walking this thin line, where we know they want to be together fully and are almost there, but haven't quite fully realized it, especially toward the end of season two.

but if they were kissing and having sex and it was meant to be some sort of secret from the audience? i find that insulting and half assed writing, which it's not. tenrose is a story about a love so deep you are afraid to approach it because it will take you down. it's about wanting everything and taking nothing because you're afraid of losing it again and how your own repression hurts you in the end because you lost anyway. that's why we never see them kiss in season two, not because rtd is a prude or because that was all off screen.

doomsday is so painful because toward the end of season two the doctor is embracing his feelings for rose. he was starting to open up to her- and then it was all snatched away before they could do all of the things they wanted to because those things weren't in the cards for them yet.

I’m not sure if this is a hot take or not but oh my god in terms of character depth the show has completely eclipsed the original books. obviously lestat was always an insanely fleshed out character because anne rice was obsessed with him but tbh armand, daniel and louis have been given more depth in this 5 episode run then in what 14 books of the vampire chronicles? i mean armand was already a fascinating character to begin with and assad takes what he’s given from the source material and just creates a whole new being with his performance!! plus the additions to his backstory and relationship with louis add a lot i think. but daniel and louis in the source material? they had none of the original armand potential! louis was a white plantation owner.! plus he was incredibly whiney and i always found him flat and kind of two dimensional in the books. how the writers and jacob anderson managed to create the perfect horrific anomaly that is our louis from that…? fucking astounding to me. and daniel??? book daniel is a fine character, sure. but the layers the show added by letting daniel move on from his first encounter and grow into eric! daniel add so much to his charcter!! ITS THE WAY OLD AND YOUNG DANIEL CONTRAST EACHOTHER COMPLETELY AS INTERVIEWERS YET ARE STILL COMPLETE EMOTIONAL MIRRORS OF EACHOTHER. ITS THE WAY THE DYNAMIC BETWEEN THE VAMPIRES AND 70’s AND PRESENT DANIEL SEEM LIKE OPPOSITES AT FIRST BUT GRADUALLY WE SEE ITS BEEN THE SAME BETWEEN THEM THE WHOLE TIMS. DANIEL IS STILL TERRIFIED AND DANIEL IS STILL BRAVE DESPITE IT. LOVE LOVE LOVE alien stage sm... @VIVINOS and @QMENG are absolute geniuses. When I first heard about this series and I heard about aliens and humans I thought it was going to be something really cliche but I was so surprised by how interested and int reading the premise was. The pet humans obey all the aliens and are there only for their sick entertainment. The pet humans rebelling against the aliens because they have the knowledge for it and they know that if Anakt was real, he would have helped them by now.... I love all of it and I wish we had more info about the characters....I absolutely adore ivantill and mizisua. But as surprising as it is I don't really hate Luka tbh...he's been abused and brain washed by heperu for too long to the point he thinks he's indebted to them...sure he gets off of other people's pain but he's also just a survivor of alien stage and a pet human at the end...

About the final round...hm... I was really upset but it makes sense honestly I don't think till stood a chance against Luka if all people is the only ever contestant who could ever rival him with votes and popularity was Ivan. But I was REALLY REALLY upset that till died after falling into Lukas mind fucking.... It's just shows how much she was haunted by Ivan's death ... But finally seeing Mizi and smiling for the first time after round six, he dies peacefully in her arms, joining Ivan and sua in a place hopefully better than Anakt Garden could ever be. Where there's no aliens, just a reunition if friends... But poor Mizi, Hyunas death is near and the only one left standing is her and fuckass Luka...

Round 7 left me with more questions and trauma then answers and closure in conclusion 😭🙏

WHAT IS UP WITH RAMSHACKLE???

Idk what's going to come after Book 7, but I HOPE we get Book 8 and that it's all about Ramshackle. I want to know wtf is going on with our boi Grim and where he came from, I wanna wtf is going on with Yuu and literally their presence in twst at all (ik they were isekaid but everyone's been getting the vibe they're in twst for a reason yk), and I wanna know what the hell that scene at the veryyyy beginning of the game with Crowley(?) and the dark mirror was all about (or maybe that'll be explained in Book 7?)

Most importantly, I want to know what the fuck is going on with Ramshackle dorm itself. Perhaps that should not be my priority, but look, I like spooky dorm lore, and I also think there's too many weird things about it to ignore.

Something that's embedded itself into my brain since I first found twst in 2020 is the ghosts that reside there. I sure do think it's interesting that ghosts who have confirmed to be students are haunting an abandoned dorm. The other ghosts we have met are all adults, such as the chef ghosts, the cafeteria ghosts, etc.

Crowley says Ramshackle dorm was abandoned because the ghosts there kept pranking and scaring the students away... but I really don't believe that. Ghosts are the norm in twst and I doubt either staff or students are incapable of getting the ghosts to screw off. They've been quiet pleasant to Yuu and Grim after the prologue, after all.

I find it more likely that whatever it was that caused their deaths is what led to Ramshackle dorm being abandoned and left standing where it is instead of just... getting rid of it? You could argue it's a part of the school's history, but if that were the case, it shouldn't have been left to rot at all.

The presence of a TWO GRAVES on Ramshackle's grounds is something very ominous and not talked about nearly enough.

Look, before and after Ramshackle was repaired:

Those are definitely graves/tombstones. I do find it very kind and respectful that the tombstones were either restored or replaced and given a better "site," so to speak, but I still find it strange that they're there at all. Remember, we have way more than two ghosts at Ramshackle, and though these could belong to two of them, idk why there's just two and not graves for all of them.

Some people have theorised that our beloved boi Skully was actually a Ramshackle student, as his portrait shows him wearing the nightmare suit even though he isn't "lost in the book." Was that Ramshackle's uniform? I wouldn't be surprised if Skully went to a dorm called Ramshackle with a uniform like that tbh. But if one grave belongs to him, then who does the other grave belong to?

Something else I've always found interesting about Ramshackle dorm is the fact that it doesn't have a mirror or a pocket dimension by extension. It exists on school grounds, in the corner, far away and out of the sight and minds of the rest of the campus:

It's also tiny compared to the other dormitories. If you were to take the physical dorm buildings themselves out of the pocket dimensions and plonk them next to Ramshackle, all of them would dwarf it in size. It just doesn't feel like a dorm. In fact, it feels more like an on-site house or a home that could belong to even a staff member.

Grim and Yuu are mysteries, but the Ramshackle dorm is even more of a mystery to me. Why is it haunted by the ghosts of students who don't seem to ever leave the dorm? Why are there two graves, and who do they belong to? Why was it really abandoned? Why does it seem to be in a permanent state of decay? (Even after renovation, the land around Ramshackle is very dull and lifeless.)

Why doesn't it have its own mirror and pocket dimension? What was the uniform like? What were the requirements/"Shape of thy soul" to be assigned there? Who was the dorm based on, if not one of the great seven? Maybe a "smaller" historical figure like Noble Bell College with Frollo? What the fuck is up with that mirror in Yuu's room and those visions and Mickey? (Mr Mouse, you BETTER be plot relevant and not Disney nostalgia/IP bait) Does the fact that Yuu and Grim are students officially staying in the dorm mean the dorm is open again? Are students able to be placed there next year?

Why does it seem that this dorm just completely disappeared from NRC's history and memory despite being there the whole time???

Movie starts with Saltarian who tells fans to record for the first 2 minutes, to show how happy they are etc and posted a qr code for fans to upload those recordings. I guess it will be put up on RHRN website. We'll see. There were also photos of fans who attended LA ritual. I fucking loved the person who showed up in a giant Plushia suit. I LOLed! Then fans were asked to put down the phones and enjoy the movie. The beginning was narrated Star Wars kinda style (a little bit) with the small recap of the chapters and about Copia's worries that he might die. And yes, it literally began in space lol. The movie is basically is like what we saw in small snippets Ghost posted earlier. Plot mixed with a really good show.

And the plot: -Short footage of Copia and Ghouls arriving. ALmost the whole set was the same as any other concert from Re-Imperatour + a few awesome exceptions. -Dews does that annoying thing with guitar, Rain stops him, takes his pick and throws it into the crowd and Dew...he freaking showed him YouSuck sticker on the backside of his guitar. Peak Dew moment! -Copia asked the right question about the Clery. He also does not quite understand what it does, why and where it goes. I suppose Tobias decided to thicken the Ghost lore a bit and will have more clarity in the nearest future. -Remember when Copia jumped at the end of the Watcher in the Sky? He ended up in one of those stage boxes (for equipment or something) and is taken to the stage B. While he's carried to it by Kevin he has a chat with Nihil's ghost. Nihil says he recorded not 2, but 3 songs. That probably means that we'll hear a new one. (UPD: the new song we heard during the credits, "The Future is a Foreign Land" is Nihil's 3rd song! Confirmed by Tobias himself in a new interview). He also tells Copia to breath in deep and then farts. -On the Stage B Copia sings "If You Have Ghosts". 3 Ghoulettes played piano and violins and the 4th one did the haunting ghost-like opera vocals. It was beatiful. Copia kissed her hand. -He then wore boxing robe and went next to crowd. Almost the whole scene was shown in the trailer. -Btw, remember that silly moment when Nihil's eyes were crossing? Well, Kevin was also included in that staring contest. -Twenties live. The skeletons, the performance and one of those skeletons who crawled between Dew's legs...that's hot. -Nihil calls Copia "son". Copia calls Nihil "Dad". Cardi will insult him later, don't worry. -Nihil/Seestor cartoon during MOAC. Yes, that's when Sis hit him with the car. Basically it's what happens after "Kiss the Go Goat" mv. Sister leaves and Nihil runs after her. "I'll never let you go". They end up kissing in a coffin on a graveyard , later Nihil wakes up naked in a bed in a motel and we see Sister leave. -There was a moment in a movie when we see Ashley (stage crew) bring Copia a new pair of shoes and put the on on his feet. Tobias, goddammit what the hell was that? :D -Seestor was a in wheelchair all the time -She and Nihil encouraged Copia throughout the whole movie and gave him a piece of advice. -About the baloon from the poster. Copia flies on it after finishing the set...or he imagined that because a few moments later after Nihil/Seestor flashbacks he ends up on the floor and watches Seestor die. All of the Ghouls and Ghoulettes also stood right next to her. -Copia has a twin brother -Copia didn't die and became the head the Clergy (Father Imperator or something like this). He found out about his new position from a letter Seestor left for him. -New song during credits (credits show dictators, assassinations, wars and the use of nuclear war). Years 1984 and 2024 mentioned. The song is not heavy. -Ghouls/Ghoulettes real names mentioned in the credits -Funny post credit scene with Copia. He had no piant on and had a new cool drip (with black jacket and red and black cross). Seestor is also a Ghost now. Tobia's children cameo. They're also Ghosts. -Papa V is teased the same way Copia was teased in a chapter 1. They even used the same music (Pro Memoria). No face reveal. Either he will be revealed in new Chapters or at some point during the new tour???

-aaaand my biggest disappointment: no footage of Primo, Secondo and Terzo. Literally ZERO.

I mean, Nihil is a Ghost, Seestor also became a Ghost, even Tobias' children made a cameo as Ghosts, but nothing for previous Papas? Really?! The same could have been done for them, but i guess Tobias doesn't care about them anymore :( And it hurts. I know that's my fault that i had so many expectations and hopes, but holy shit :( As a newbie who never saw previous Papas, i'm so sad i'll never get a chance to see them and there won't be any new footage of them. Being Terzo widow is so hard. Guess that's why i'm a bit salty Copia lives (sorry, guys, i like him, but i also hate him haha)

And yes, as it turned out the twins theory from Square Hammer was true...but not for Terzo 😭

I enjoyed the movie nevertheless. It's fun and kinda gives you an opportunity to see the band "live" if you've never been to a ritual before. And yes, the movies was'nt just about Papa IV and his fate, i believe it was also Tobias' message for us to enjoy the life rite here rite now! As i said, Copia's girlies and boys truly fucking won.
