I have yet to come up with a good idea for a replacement, but i'm just saying I don't mind the change, especially if it's the only way for the show to go forward. I mean, im from a sci-fi comedy. I haven't posted here in a while because I've tried to stray from discourse for the sake of my health lately, but I really just need to talk about my hatred for the attitude that's been put forth re: the newly budding autoandrophile / forcemasc kink community on here.

it's absolutely ridiculous how many times I've seen people making fun of or treating this kink as though it's something unhealthy or dangerous - an attitude which conveniently does not carry over in regards to forcefem content. it's really just a microcosm of how a lot of other queer people view masculinity and ESPECIALLY trans masculinity as something frivolous and worthy of mockery. People saying that the kink and its community is "weird" and "dumb," which again, I have to note, is not something so uniformly believed about forcefem kinks!

This isnt me saying you can't dislike or be made uncomfortable by a kink. And before my words end up twisted, I am also not blaming transfems for any of this - my mention of forcefem and its wider reception from the queer community is only as a reference point as it relates to forcemasc. My issue is that once again, the queer community has seemingly found a socially acceptable way to mock trans masculinity once again, and as a trans guy it is really not fucking subtle what you guys are doing when you say some of the shit that gets said. The mockery and satirical fake posts, the way that every single time we find a new way to experience masculinity we just happen to be laughed at for it in a way that isn't TECHNICALLY transphobia so we can't actually be mad about it. I realize that kink is not above satire but really it feels fucking targeted when we already don't get taken seriously in literally any of our other endeavors.

a kink community on tumblr is not the end all be all of the transmasc community nor do I really think it has grave importance offline, sure, whatever, I must make a million disclaimers lest I be yet again branded as an overdramatic woman by people who are meant to be my peers. whatever. I really just wish that for once, for ONCE, we could have ONE thing that people actually respected enough for it not to be such a casual target of humor.

Hey sorry if this is weird to say n I know the tags you left on my post the other day when I was joking abt like. How all roads for Jace lead back to Porter like I know they’re old tags and I meant to reply sooner but I really liked what u had to say esp the part at the end I guess abt like. Is Jace returning to Porter even when we try to give him something new tragic or is he glad he got to experience new life with other people who also got to experience new life through essentially the act of creation. I just thought that was a beautiful sentiment. Like I joke about us being in the Zarajace trenches but I love her so much and i get she’s a minor character but it really does make me sad that she’s never seen as a character whose interiority is worth taken seriously. (I literally checked to see if i was crazy and like for example on ao3 she’s only in like 10 works and one is mine two are yours! and the others are like misc Zaraporterjace or sb content n offhand mentions.) I love her so much. Maybe this is silly but even as ‘always a duo’ can be so personal there is something to like. Imbuing a constellation of people including Zara that also get second rich life when we write abt our little blonde guy that we put in Situations :’)

I got so in the weeds with my tags on your post bc Just the idea that maybe we all doomed Jace by tying him back to porter makes me sad but then there's duality to it of, hey he got agency and maybe he's happy too. They started in such a dark place because of the implications within canon but like- the power that creation holds is so special. In the show, Zara had a lot more to work with and I remember being a little scared to write her because it felt so daunting. She already had agency and personality that felt so clear. Like I look at her and I want to be truthful to the seeds that were planted with how she's portrayed. But it really is that same internal debate of did we doom her and take away some of that agency by tying her to Jace? Or is she happy?

Just like- I came into this a starbreaker girlie and fell ass backwards into ZaraJace best friends to QPR to Lavender Marriage pipeline and I think through that, through Jace and through creation Zara is happy. the thing abt gurren lagann is that there’s a lot of really intense and typical early 2000s homophobia in it that sucks ass but it feels a little easier to get past nowadays bcuz the director and writer team that made gurren lagann made promare ten years later. which has some things that feel like they exist to directly contrast against gurren lagann and show a much better version of what couldve been. i mean most obviously u have galos entire existence w his appearance and his behavior/the way he talks is kind of this juxtaposition against kamina. where kamina can be this embodiment of toxic masculinity (some of it u can argue is intentional and meant to be read as him being in the wrong, but a lot of it is bcuz it was 2007 and they thought it was funny) galo is a lot more intentional with combatting a lot of that ten years later as another over the top masculine action movie hero kinda guy. but he has shit like 'being normal to women' baked in2 his character so foundationally you only even think about it if youve Seen a gainaxtrigger production with an adult male lead before and you say 'wow, unfortunately that isnt typical.' his attraction to men also isnt treated like a joke, his relationship with lio is another foundational block in promare and taken rly seriously as a huge part of the narrative.

however trigger did not apparently learn anything actually about women (or race but thats a seperate post) in the last decade bcuz that shits still very present in promare. galo being respectful to women isnt a sentiment shared with the people who made the actual movie, probably more bcuz they thought people wouldnt like galo or recognize him as a good person in 2019 if he was weird to women (true but also why didnt it occur to them beyond writing their oc) (its also possible he was 'allowed' to be written as respectful to women bcuz trigger was writing him with the assumption he wasnt attracted to them so surely he would have no 'reason' to be a creep to women which is its own can of worms but thats just a possible branch of speculation based on how fiction written by misogynistic men often views misogyny and gay men)

This disability pride month, I'm left with conflicted feelings.

Whenever I post about disability-related things online, I always try to give my community optimism and hope. I know how much suffering can result from having health issues, and sometimes, you just need a break from dwelling on it. I want to provide fellow disabled people a break from the slippery slope of doom that dwelling can lead to.

But the more I do that, the more that I fear I'm showing an inaccurate representation of disability. That I am painting an image of disability to be something "struggle free all the time and nothing more than a 'unique character trait.'"

Being disabled isn't easy. You're living in a world not meant for you. And you get reminded of that every day. You might think its easier to mask if you're able to, but all that does is dig you into a deeper hole. Sure, I can suppress my tics. Sure, I can mask my autism. Sure, I can try my best to hide my POTS symptoms. I can act like my tinnitus isn't giving me headaches and making it difficult to function in society. I can act like my chronic pain isnt making me want to collapse to the floor. I can pretend I dont need a mobility aid.

Sometimes, though, you arent given the choice on if you hide it or not. And then that whole facade tumbles down. And you're left feeling a mix of embarrassment, shame, and anger. Embarrassed to be seen like that, shame that you may need help, and angry that your body did something against your will, again.

I started working 7 months ago. The first 3 months, I was so happy and proud of myself for being able to have the privilege of holding down a job. By the 4th month, I had some doubts about how long I could hold my job down. Here I am, 7 months in, and Im realizing yet again that I am not as able-bodied as I expected myself to be. The thought that I may have to find a less physically demanding job terrifies me. I feel immense shame for struggling to handle a part-time job physically.

I think what really solidified this for me was when I passed out at my job last month. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but the fact of the matter is I blacked out, and I didn't get to decide I "wasn't going to." That scared me. Or maybe what solidified it for me was when my tinnitus prevented me from being able to understand customers and coworkers. Maybe it was when I had to mask and suppress a tic attack to the best of my ability. Maybe it was when I touched something that triggered my sensory issues, and I was simply too busy to regulate myself, so I had to spend my time dissociating to forget the feeling.

When you're young and you're disabled, it's difficult to be taken seriously. People think you're being dramatic, or they think its something you're doing to be causing all the health problems. "Have you tried changing your diet?" / "It's growing pains." / "Your leg hurts? Did you bang it on something?" / "Give it a few days. You'll feel better." The search for accommodation and validity is made even harder when doctors refuse to listen. Sadly, the medical system is not immune to being abelist. You can't request accommodations if doctors document you as able-bodied.

I have never claimed to be a voice for my community. I am a voice for nobody but myself. Maybe in sharing my Expirences, someone else can feel less alone. Or maybe this is unique to me alone.

Am I proud to be disabled?

I think that in some ways, yes. I am proud of what I have accomplished in spite of my health. I am proud that I have found tools to manage my health. I am proud to say I am a part of an amazing community such as the disabled community, and I am proud of what we've accomplished.

I dont think I am proud of the abelism, shame, or pain through. Im not sure anyone could be. If you are, I truly envy you. I am proud that despite the pain, I push forward. But I wonder if that's an unhealthy habit to encourage. To push my limits and ignore my body, screaming at me to give it rest.

This disability pride month, Im reflecting on my health and how it affects me, and taking the time to be patient with myself. Because Im doing all that I can, I do not need to hold myself to the standards that able-bodied people are held to. That is an impossible standard for me to reach.

Im going to celebrate the small victories. This time last year, I was passing out multiple times a week, and I overall had more tic attacks. Now, my fainting has been almost non-existent, and my tic attacks- while they do still happen - have noticeably been less frequent.

If you made it this far, please be kind to yourself, and happy disability pride month. You are allowed to be upset by the things your disability puts you through. You're doing the best you can. I see you, and Im proud of you.

and i have advice: you ppl need to stop taking any symbolism or parallels or whatever too literally and seriously. like, actually look at the scenes and not just go "well they are certainly saying words".

we agreed that crazy = (romantic) love, and love makes you crazy. that is true. but its not that simple. all three instances of it, are in three completely different contexts and situations.

jonathan tries to get nancy to leave but attacks steve after he taunts him about his family and insults not only him but the ppl he loves. he’s not just defending nancy from being slutshamed.

"only love makes you that crazy, sweetheart" - the crazy = love thing is made all romantic because the series tries to put the focus on the fact jonathan has feelings for nancy. its a tool. but theres context for it, and that is the fact that jonathan went crazy because of his love for joyce, will, not only nancy. they are treated as side characters of sorts here, though, because the show focuses on the romantic implications of that scene and how it involves jonathan and nancy, plus a character with no knowledge of jonathan’s issues making assumptions. this particular line isnt about jonathans family.

"crazy together", is another instance, and again you cant take it too literally. jonathan went after steve because of his family not just nancy but the show is trying to make going crazy symbolize romantic love specifically. they make it about jonathan and nancy for sake of this. same with byler. its a scene between the two discussing their traumas. in this instance the things that make them go crazy arent romantic!! what makes will go crazy is literally UD visions come on. and mike’s issue is feeling he sees el etc. he is just a child going thru survivors guilt. mike constantly calling el and having hope she survived isnt him being in love and peak romance. just like, i remind you, mike being devoted to finding will isnt proof of him being romantically in love with him. remember lucas risking it all to find will? yh its a weak argument. the romantic thing about it all is them saying they’ll go crazy TOGETHER.

in short jonathan sorta went crazy over joyce and will too but the duffers went for making it about jancy and the family love thing is shoved in the bg in favor of presenting the romantic love makes you crazy thing.

will went crazy over ud visions, mike went crazy over the situation with el. but thats not the romantic parts. its them going crazy together.

and third - "they do say it makes you crazy" which again isnt meant to be taken 100% srsly as proof mike loves el or whatever. context, context, it matters. this is supposed to show us that oh crazy together wasnt so friendly, mike himself mentions love makes you crazy so —-

I've been seeing this post about MLK Jr being a misogynistic abuser going around this site and how no woman should support him. Then I searched for sources and it turns out that it's from the FBI.

I'm not some MLK worshipper who believes he could do no wrong, and I do have plenty of disagreements with him, but I just wish people would stop spreading baseless rumours, and that too from the FBI of all things. I actually would've taken this seriously if this allegation was made by the actual woman concerned. The tape of this alleged incident is not even released yet, it's sealed until 2027. The least that feminists could do here is to atleast wait till it is made public, and then make their judgements.

Anyone who knows anything about the history of the civil rights movement knows how much the FBI had tried to destroy and discredit MLK and many other black freedom movement leaders. It's so annoying when you see people who have absolutely no idea of the struggles that black people face in a white supremacist state or about how the FBI had murdered black panthers, happily spreading FBI propaganda without any critical thought. But I guess it's too much to ask for white feminists to understand this.

Yes I agree. And there's so many other examples of this type of stuff being used against male revolutionaries. So I think we should give it a fair consideration that ruling class actually does use some feminist points and concerns against males. I've used the Gaddafi viagara troops as an example before because that's a good one. John Stockwell talked about how CIA worked with journalists to create fake stories in print of Cuban rapists. I mean even journalism is in the control of ruling class. Ofc we know male revolutionaries are capable of misogyny so this isnt to say it's not possible. These attitudes of taking words of a community and twisting them reveal an attitude that informs all types of oppression.

You see, oppression doesnt *start* in the streets. It starts as a concept, a paradigm. Then a word. Then calling us that. By the time laws are made, its like a mushroom spore. Its BEEN there forever. If you are waiting to talk about nonhuman oppression when a law is passed against us..... Boy i got news for you.

That attitude towards a word is governed by preconcieved ideas that could literally be ancient. Those ideas govern unsaid "laws" that govern how ppl treat us. No matter what law is out there. Transspecies, alterbeing, nonhumans of all kinds are afraid to be fired, not taken seriously , and yes, even unaliving themselves or having someone do that to them. Some work is more risky and has glass cielings for a nonhuman, public work or corporate where you either have to be serious or deal with public perception. Red states ect. The truth is people against transgender identity see us as one and the same, no matter how much yall yell BUT WERE "NOT"!!!

The idea humans are separate and greater than animals. I mean society (western) is So engrained in separating human and nonhuman they reserve the term animal for nonhuman s, call themselves people, and all other nature "things".

Not every culture has this vocabulary but you can see how this separation and hiarchy created an obvious rift for transspecies identity but also it created a philosophical weapon for humans that think like this could use , toward other races cultures ect. holiday headcanons

Epel loves Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. He sees it as a story of how everyone thought this guy was worthless but in the end he proved everyone wrong, he wasnt what they thought he was, he wasnt the names they called him. He has a similar attitude himself, enjoying making others "eat crow" (labwear vignette).

DEFINITELY believes in Santa Claus

He's canonicaly the youngest in his village, so instead of the (canonicaly few, if any) older kids telling him santa isnt real, I think the adults would keep them from telling him. I know he's older in this canon but hes still a teenager, and also i dont think his family would care how old he is, he's still the baby of the community (something that annoys him sometimes honestly. Take him seriously!!)

In addition to believing in Santa Claus, he also believes in Elf On The Shelf. For those unaware (as I was until it was explained to me in the #headcanons channel), the elves on the shelves are meant to watch the children and make sure they are being good, like Santa's agents that report to him. Others have definitely taken advantage of this information to mess with him.

Epel is an avid knitter, mostly a stress knitter. Most of the gifts he gives his friends are hand knit. He, for example, knit Ruggie a hat, scarf, and pair of socks for the holidays.

Epel has probably been drunk before, or at least buzzed/tipsy. His family runs an apple orchard. Hard apple cider anyone? He's definitely been allowed to drink even though hes underage (assuming twst has tha saem laws as america), because its just around his family and he's in a safe environment and it's fine. Even in canon/at NRC I think he's been allowed to drink, its not like he's gotten blackout drunk but yknow. Sippy sip feels warm in the winter.

THAT IS TO SAY. Jingle Bell Rock and Rockin Around The Xmas Tree are great songs to sing with friends while drunk. Which is one of tha reasons he lieks them (moreso the latter, if he had to pick a favourite). Imagine Epel red faced and laughing as he loudly slurs the words to xmas songs in his living room. Today I saw a post that disturbed me. For those of you who dont know, today is International Men's day, which only makes this post even more necessary. I do NOT name and shame so I will keep this post as vague as possible.

I do NOT support child grooming and paedophilia regardless of gender. If you think that it is ok for an adult man or woman to seduce a minor boy or girl into sexual acts, please do not interact with me.

Oscar Wilder, Gian Gastone, Sergei Diaghilev, Philippe I Duke of Orleans, Philippe, the chevalier of Lorraine, etc... were all groomers and paedophiles. I do have them on my blog as I find them interesting and some even attractive BUT I do not condone their actions. I know some people struggle with this, but I can sometimes seperate the person from their actions.

Another note, just because a victim of grooming and abuse, physically enjoys the abuse, that does not make it any more acceptable. It is still rape, that minor might not even realise at that time the gravity of what occurred and only suffer the psychological damage later, it is still rape. They may not have screamed and fought back, it is still rape. It happened in the 17th century when minors married all the time.. it is still rape, we live in the 21st century and should know better by now.

I am tired of seeing posts supporting the acts done by Oscar Wilde, the acts done to Louis de Vermandois, the several victims of Sergei Diaghilev. The "love that dare not speak its name" isnt consensual between two adults, its not even love. Its pure, predatory lust, its illegal today for a reason. I am saddened to know that even today, men and boys who are victims of sexual predation, are still not taken seriously, not heard, not cared for.

Yesterday it was the anniversary of the death of Louis de Vermandois. I am sorry, my heart goes out to him and many other young men who have had their lives destroyed by predatory adults. I am sorry Pete Burns, I am sorry Lord Byron, I am sorry Vaslav Nijinsky, I am sorry to all children who have been molested and raped by clergy, teachers, family, etc...my heart goes out to you if you or a loved one reading this, has been taken advantage of by an adult who was meant to respect and protect you. I respect your opinion about it. But i think Dual Process makes for a better story than 'crying child is left nameless forever because ummmm... Scotts still salty we couldn't solve Fnaf 4? And toysnhk is a random girl who has nothing revealed else revealed about her and is mostly a fanon construct. Instead of one of the main characters. (And is also referred to with male pronouns because... well, Scott made this same mistake in save him I guess?)'

Though, i know you believe more in Andrew being toysnhk. Yeah, he could be. I havent read the frights books, so i dont have any particular attachement to him, and cant say either way.

Thats one of the things that makes dual process unlikely in my eyes. Its too much like a real story. We know Scott was just pantsing his way through the story- nothing was preplanned. He isnt a genius storyteller- hes just a guy whos personal final fantasy got big, and he got the chance to make more games in that series. Fnaf was never meant to be a huge, lore heavy franchise.

(Thats not nessasarily a knock on the guy- weve all got different ways of writing. His way just doesnt help make a consistent multi-entry franchise. It does however catch people and refuses to let them go!)

And if Scott had been preplanning everything. There would've been more clues. More foreshadowing. It wouldn't have taken people this long to figure out that crying child= Cassidy if crying child WAS Cassidy. Because it would have been obvious. It would've been made more obvious that Michael was toysnhk, in a better planned story.

I guess thats my deal here- I'm not gonna pretend I'm a theorist. I gave up on trying to seriously solve the lore years ago, when I realised it just wasnt possible for me to do so.

I just want a story that makes sense.

(Which is why, as much as I've been posting about dual process recently, I'm more of a 'Stormister was right and this is just Scott Cawthons New Nightmare' kind of girl lol. It allows for the inconsistency of old fnaf to be, well, the fictional indie games in universe, and gives steel wool and Scott a new place to start from, that they SEEM to be choosing? Time will tell. Maybe Scott will make a mockery of me lol?)

if you're wondering why there are so many posts every 30 minutes its bc im scheduling stuff.

i started writing the chatfic bc i was bored and wanted to be silly. and also so if i ever get 3 lines or decide to move ot down i will be ready to post it. this is your only preview of it until then by the way. it might be months before you see it again. unless you want it so badly you plead with me for happy tree friends chatfic. i will actually write more of it if ppl like it when it does get posted btw.

- the Gang is already found family and splendid and splendont have told everyone they r shiver and spice (reasonably they would still use their aliases when texting in a Non Silly world but. who cares.)

- nutty breaks the 4th wall a lot

- sniffles is the one questioning the inane bullshit

- splendid/flippy is established like in oblivion (bc it is basically oblivion but they're in a group chat and its just crack and silly things amd isnt meant to be taken seriously At. All.) but as of the scheduling of this post the only other ship im 100% sure about is cuddles/giggles (who are also together when oblivion starts - toothy isnt apart of the polycute at the start of that and im not sure if he is here either). theres a good chance that splendont is with the twins at this point though. not guarenteed.
