OP deactivated, and some of the links were broken/marked unsafe by Firefox, so here's a new compilation post of Leslie Feinburg's (She/her, ze/hir) novels and essays on being transgender:
Stone Butch Blues official free source directly from Author's website:
Stone Butch Blues, backup on the webarchive:
Transgender Liberation: A movement whose time has come, on the web archive:
Transgender Warriors: Making History from Joan of Arc to Dennis Rodman, on the web archive:
Lavender and Red, PDF essay collection:
Drag King Dreams, on the web archive:
(Also, if anyone ever tells you that the protagonist of Stone Butch Blues ""ends up with a man""........ they're transmisogynistic jackass TERFs who are straight up lying)
Please also check out your local public libraries for these books and see if they carry them, to help support public libraries! If you have a library card already you can checkout Libby and Overdrive to see if your public library carries it as an ebook that you can checkout :)
EDIT: another not included on the orignal masterpost-- Trans Liberation: Beyond Pink or blue !
annnnnd in light of the web archive losing it's court case, here's a backup of both PDFs and generated epubs a friend made:
5/26/2023: hello! I am adding on yet another book of queer history, this time the autobiography of Karl Baer, a Jewish, intersex trans man who was born in 1884! Please signal boost this version, and remember to check the notes whenever this crosses your dash for any new updates :)
6/24/2023:
Two links to share!
Someone made an Epub version of Memoirs of a Man's Maiden Years, which you can find Here , as a more accessible version than a pdf of a scanned book if you're like me and need larger text size for reading--
And from another post I reblogged earlier today, I discovered the existence of "TransSisters: the Journal of Transsexual Feminism", which has 10 issues from 1993-1995, and includes multiple interviews with Leslie Feinburg and other queer feminists / activists of the 90s!
Here's a link to all 10 issues of TransSisters, plus a 1996 "look back at" by one of the writers after the journal ended, you can find all 10 issues on the Internet Archive Here !
------
8/28/2023:
"Bi Any Other Name: Bisexual People Speak Out", can be found on the web archive Here, for the 25th Anniversary Edition from 2015,
and also Here, for the original 1991 version.
Each of the above can be borrowed for one hour at a time as long as a copy is available :D
This is a living post that receives sporadic updates on the original, if you are seeing this on your dash, click Here to see the latest version of the post to make sure you're reblogging the most up to date one :)

October, 25th 2023:
"I began to dawdle over breakfast during shift changes, asking both waitresses questions. After weeks of inquiries, they invited me to a demonstration, outside Kleinhan's Music Hall, protesting the Israeli war against Egypt and Syria. I was particularly interested in that protest. The state of Israel had been declared shortly before my birth. In Hebrew school I was taught "Palestine was a land without peo-ple, for a people without a land." That phrase haunted me as a child. I pictured ears with no one in them, and movies projected on screens in empty theaters. When I checked a map of that region of the Middle East in my school geography textbook, it was labeled Palestine, not Israel. Yet when I asked my grandmother who the Palestinians were, she told me there were no such people. The puzzle had been solved for me in my adolescence. I developed a strong friendship with a Lebanese teenager, who explained to me that the Palestinian people had been driven off their land by Zionist settlers, like the Native peoples in the United States. I studied and thought a great deal about all she told me. From that point on I staunchly opposed Zionist ideology and the occupation of Palestine. So I wanted to go to the protest. However, I feared the demonstration, no matter how justified, would be tainted by anti-Semitism. But I was so angered by the actions of the Israeli government and military, that I went to the event to check it out for myself. That evening, I arrived at Kleinhan's before the protest began. Cops in uniforms and plainclothes surrounded the music hall. I waited impatiently for the protesters to arrive. Suddenly, all the media swarmed down the street. I ran after them. Coming over the hill was a long column of people moving toward Kleinhan's. The woman who led the march and spoke to reporters proudly told them she was Jewish! Others held signs and banners aloft that read: "Arab Land for Arab People!" and "Smash Anti-Semitism!" Now those were two slogans I could get behind! I wanted to know who these people were and where they had been all my life! Hours later I followed the group back to their headquarters. Orange banners tacked up on the walls expressed solidarity with the Attica prisoners and the Vietnamese. One banner particularly haunted me. It read: Stop the War Against Black America, which made me realize that it wasn't just distant wars that needed opposing. Yet although I worked with two members of this organization, I felt nervous that night. These people were communists, Marxists! Yet I found it easy to get into discussions with them. I met waitresses, factory workers, secretaries, and truck drivers. And I decided they were some of the most principled people I had ever met..." Transgender Warriors (1996) Leslie Feinberg

Hi, people are claiming you recently used lifetime intimate partner violence stats to claim lesbians are especially abusive and then deleted the post. I wanted to ask what the context is — how much of that is true?
Lmao????
I made a post talking about how women who are victimized by other women are frequently overlooked & their trauma is devalued. I added some statistics from the 2016-2017 National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey. the way I framed the data was a bit unclear & some people misinterpreted it, and I made another reblog clarifying what the statistics meant.
It ended up getting swarmed with people who openly identified as TERFs for obvious reasons. Although it also had many people talking about how their experiences being abused by women alienated them from places claiming to be "safe spaces" for exactly the reasons I outlined in the post (it's overlooked & downplayed & people often are not taught to recognize it as abusive/traumatizing). I ended up either turning off reblogs or deleting it because I was tired of the TERFs in my notes.
I never claimed lesbians are especially abusive. They may have had higher rates of women abusing other women compared to straight women, but that's a matter of proximity and also not something I can control. My point was that excluding groups like trans women & justifying it using the trauma of abuse is a bad way of handling abuse in community spaces. It's far better to have gender neutral rules on behavior & be aware of all possibilities rather than justify bigotry by saying that excluding anyone you consider "male" will make a space safe for survivors. It's also a perspective that inevitably downplays certain survivors' trauma as lesser & leaves them with fewer places to find support (lesbians, for example, may have to worry about an abusive partner showing up at the shelter they are staying at. You can't deal with F/F abuse through gender segregation, because segregation in itself only increases the likelihood that a woman will be a position to abuse her power over another woman) Exclusively cis-binary-based ways of handling abuse WILL fail and in the meantime, vulnerable trans people are left out in the cold because of our percieved or real proximity to "maleness".

This is who you really are and you're ready to move forward with your true interests. (P.S. If you're a trans girl and are struggling to accept your shifting interest in men, this may be for you. However, this is not meant to be a "sissy caption". I don't like doing that kind of shit.)
Late Flashback Friday post... posted on a Sunday. Anyways, I had this caption finished just today and I wanted to post it for a reason: straight trans women exist. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much acknowledgement to them either because they are outnumbered by trans girls of other sexualities or because straight trans girls assimilate with the rest of society. The latter reason isn't without problems either as they also face sexism and transphobia from cisgender men who view them as "crossdressers", "traps", or "sissies"*. Then, there's the chasers who only go out with them to fulfill their "dirty little secret".
As of me writing this, I'm so glad there's a subreddit of straight trans girls who support one another and talk about their problems and solutions as embracing your shifting sexuality and interests can be challenging for anyone transitioning. The caption here isn't meant to persuade you into a straight girl who lusts for men. It's meant to support those trans girls who are realizing they're only attracted to men, but are afraid to accept their change. If your sexuality suddenly shifts, don't be afraid to accept it. Try it out and find out if it feels so right for you. It's part of your journey of transitioning into a woman. At the end of the day, straight trans women are also women and should be respected as such.
*P.S. To the sissies viewing this caption and reading this post, you are welcome to like this post and reblog it if your like. However, I ask you to please refrain from using hashtags like "feminine sissy", "faggot sissy". "cocksucker sissy" or whatever explicit tags you guys use to share with other blogs. Straight trans girls are not gay or lesbians, much less a sissy. They do not automatically turn into girls after having action with men. They have always been women inside.

The worst part about being a fox therian is that even when I am partially accepted, it's usually because cats are telling me how horrible foxes are, and how I should've "picked a different species" because they think that's how it works.

<33333 you're wonderful, amazing, and incredibly strong and resilient. you've done more for lgbt people than all of the people throwing hate at you combined.
thank you, love ❤️ I know this for a fact. I know for a fact I've done and STILL do more for trans people than ANYONE on here coming for me 🤷 I've personally arranged and/or paid for healthcare including expensive HIV medications, housing, food, doctor's appointments, clothing, and more for homosexual AND TRANS people in need in my community. I've used my connections to get welfare resources for homosexual AND TRANS people they otherwise either couldn't access or would have had to wait months for. I've paid for and legally facilitated the name change of more than one trans acquaintance. I have opened my home to unhoused gay AND TRANS young adults to ensure they had shelter and food and safety and access to medicine, and paid for motel rooms for unhoused lgbt people for weeks or months while they waited for an opening in the shelter (which I also got them on the list for, sometimes when they didn't even technically qualify, using my connections as a Pulse survivor).
I've helped several LGBT young adults in need learn adult skills including how to drive, how to find and then apply & interview for jobs, how to check their vitals and what the dangerous ranges are, basic first aid, CPR certifications, harm reduction in cases involving substance misuse, how to find good medical providers & advocate for themselves to doctors/insurance, how to obtain and navigate medical insurance, how to apply for an apartment rental, how to apply for college or in one case even grad school, how to set boundaries and speak up for their needs, how to get documents changed, and much more.
I'm not wealthy, either, I did all of this while living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to feed myself. I did all this voluntarily, separate from charity organizations or guidance, on my own initiative. I found ways. I always found ways bc it mattered to me. I routinely used my unique connections as a Pulse survivor (esp connections to the lgbt resources who assisted us in the aftermath, but also to politicians like Carlos Guillermo Smith and Anna Eskamani who most of us survivors know personally) to help lgbt people in need. and what do the people who claim to be the real trans activists/allies do? harass and threaten me & women/girls like me - most often online as anonymous cowards, but even IRL (usually still anonymously) with courageous tactics such as doxxing, bomb threats, bombarding their employer's or school's phone line with hypocritical bootlickers calling for her to be fired or expelled.
What can the homophobic, misogynistic, self-proclaimed "pro trans" assholes (who are actually causing harm to & reducing public support for actual sex-dysphoric/GNC people) in my inbox honestly say they have done for trans people? Sent dozens if not hundreds of rape fantasies & death threats to a feminist lesbian who actually does meaningful and materially measurable work for the population you claim to be defending bc she says sex-based oppression is a real thing with material consequences from which all women and girls (50% of the world's human population) deserve liberation? 10/10 insane thought process.
I'm tired of it.

if you're a cool trans person who lives near me and you reach out to me about it, chances are pretty damn high that im down for a meetup because i love meeting my people :3
UPDATE: added a “mutuals fucked” counter to my bio hehe
UPDATE: "Men DNI" or anything similar will get you blocked if your vibes seem indicative of transmisogyny or misandry to me.
Edit, because apparently it needs to be specified: I have no issue with "Men DNI", I have issue with misandry and transmisogyny. In my experience misandrists and TERFs almost always have "Men DNI" on their blogs, so I keep an eye out for it, but that does not mean I have any problem with people who simply aren't comfortable with men on their blogs just because that isn't the goal of their blog.
UPDATE: I will be adding many flavors of content to my reblogs instead of just liking them, some of it is bc I want to support the artists who make stuff I like, and some of it is bc I have decided that it's in no way shameful to (gasp) be attracted to stuff. Most active hornyposting and explicitly sexual content will stay on my sideblog, but if you continue following me then from this point on be aware that I will occasionally post things that may be suggestive, lewd, or downright explicit. I have also added the URL to my sideblog down below, for those interested.
Hi there >:3
You can call me VV. I’m 22, autistic, adhd, and transfem! I’m a polyamorous lesbian system (so far exclusively t4t, but I’m open :3). I live in Seattle, and as long as you aren’t a creep or weirdo I’m open to making friends! I am currently in wonderful relationships with @cynthjam, @thevicioushotdog, @anarcho--neptunism, @lucyvaleheart, @urjunebug, @emluckyowl, and another who doesn’t have tumblr :3
Trying to try new things and to be a bit more shameless, because I figure I should try to like myself as much as other people seem to. I’m still learning some of my limits, and breaking a few, so feel free to ask me all manner of things but don’t always expect an answer. I occasionally hornypost, but most of the more explicit stuff stays on my sideblog, girlcockgarage. Horny asks should also be directed to my sideblog if you want a serious answer. I may put the URL here eventually.
I may include more about my interests here in the future, but for right now I’ll stick to introductions. Check back later and I’ll probably have this updated!
Reblogging my stuff is not only appreciated, but actively encouraged! I enjoy very few things more than I enjoy sharing my interests with others, and reblogging helps me reach as many people as possible with that!
This one is a little bit unusual I'm sure, but for the time being I will not be interacting with any Picrew stuff such as Picrew rebog chains. I have nothing against Picrew, it just sets my dysphoria off more severely than damn near anything else. Wish it didn't but it does, so for now I have to avoid it.
I will block minors, creeps, bigots, or anyone who gives me those vibes even if not explicitly clear. Ageless blogs will be blocked, because I’m not taking any chances here.

First things first: I am not deactivating. Just. Taking a break.
Mututals: You can get my discord if I don't ask for yours before I leave in a couple days. You can also give me a snap though I may be worse at responding to that.
This is my reasons for leaving so no one thinks I do anything crazy, or if anyone has their own gripe they can take this as a sign to take a mental health break of your own.
.
The Racism on this site remains unchecked, and the agression against black user who call it out should absolutely NOT be that high. You adore recreating the racist systems that got us here in the first place. You think your lense on how we experience opression, even the theories we wrote, are better and clearly so much superior.
Exorsexism is disgustingly rampant. We are a jokes to people. We are fakes to other. We are a convenient argument about people passing. We are "dangerous" to a preciously protected set of binaries that do nothing to help any of us.
Lesbophobia across the site has no reason to be so high on a site with so many Lesbians and yet!! We treat labels like they're more important than lives. People act like a personal interpretation of the idenity is an attack. We go "Being a Lesbian is so complex. It's intricate and special" And then when a butch takes t, or a femmes uses he and maybe even gets top surgery, or someones attraction isnt the simply wlw Lesbianism they're told they're doing it wrong and that it's not fair to try and over complicate being a lesbian.
Transandrophobia and Transmisogyny against me and other trans people on this site is out of control. People are infighting and people are lashing out laterally and comparing it 1:1 to the opression the system holds against all of us.
Intersexism continues to be like, so easy for you guys to commit no matter how many voices speak up about how best to be aware of intersex issues.
You guys adore ableism just as you have for years and years. You're obsessed with degrading people who do mental illness or disability "wrong." You see someone stuggling with illness and you don't wait to tell them your personal opinion on their experience. Adding ocd triggering guilt tripping to post. Refusing to hear out people about adding image ids/alt images and how screen readers work.
The Antisemitism I was seeing well before 10/7 was gross. It only increased as people scrambled not to be associated with "the bad jew." People had mutuals and friends for years that abandoned them at the first chance. They spread lies or twisted truths in order to chose Jewish bloggers off the site. I DO notice that when people make post on antisemitism there is often more Jewish people than goy in the notes acknowledging it. I don't think I've seen one without horrid Antisemitism in it's own notes in months. Multiple people have told me to leave my heritage out of pride in their attempts to keep out Jewish people.
Voices from Palstine are only used when they support certain ideas. You all turned supporting people into a fucking witch hunt against profiles on the Internet. You reblog a post of Palastine joy and then reblog an unsourced tweet about something Palstinians have said isn't true, that slanders Jewish people unprompted. For a long time some of you weren't even sharing the right sources for helping them bc you couldn't fact check before sharing?
-
And then there's fucking STAFF. They couldn't stop themselves from banning trans blogs if you paid them. They couldn't keep harassment campaigns at bay if it killed someone.
They used us to coax queer people here for years by sharing that they support queer identities and even at one point let our porn exist here! And then it was all fucking wiped off the map. Now one mass reporting of an untrue claim can get an minorties blog permanently removed.
They say "We need money!" but when people gave it to them this site got w o r se. They use distractions and try and make stuff around the fun shit we came up with to keep us from fussing.
They mute and remove users who make a loud enough point to sway people. They mute and removes uses that are so quiet no one would notice.
Minorties inboxes are a headache.
.
So I'm out. I'll probably be back at some point because I have things I DO enjoy here.
But for mental health I just gotta catch my breath.
This will be my pinned until I get back I guess im case anyone wonders where I went.
I'll have a queue going of a few last minute things i want on my blog but when it runs out thats it for a while until I return.
Thats all

[ID: A set of two flags with seven stripes. The left goes from light orange, to light red, to dark blue-purple, to light green, to dark blue-purple, to deep blue, to teal. The right goes from cornflower blue, to teal, to light green, to orange, to red, to dark pink-purple, to dark blue-purple. End ID]
Gay flag
This is a flag for anyone who considers themselves gay, regardless of their gender. It is not a general LGBTQ+, queer, etc. flag, it is a gay flag. Gay men, lesbians, nonbinary gay people, and any other gay person is completely welcome to use this.
This was both made to have a non-gendered gay flag, and as a flag of solidarity and unity among gay people in general. I do not care who uses this flag, so long as they consider themselves to be gay.
The flag and stripes:
I made two versions; one is meant to look similarly to the most popular flags made for lesbians and gay men so it fits the "theme," while the other one is styled originally without the tie to those flags. This is so that people who like the look of the sunset and wintergreen flags, and people who do not, can have their own style.
The name of this flag is Honeydew Gay, referencing the light green center or bottom. It can also just be called Intersectional Gay, if you'd rather.
Orange is for personal identity and lived experienced. It's for recognizing that every gay person is different, and so are their lives. There is rich diversity among gay people throughout history, and in the modern day.
Red is for gay rights, acceptance, and history. It's for the fight for gay rights and acceptance, and respect for those who have been fighting throughout history. It's for pushing for gay rights today, in our laws and our society.
Pink-purple is for gay solidarity, gay "family," and gay unity. It's for uplifting other gay people and recognizing each other as a unified force that has worked together and helped one another. It's also a nod to how "family" has been used as code for fellow community members in the LGBTQ+ community.
Light green is for gay intersectionality. It's for recognizing that there are other minorities within the gay community: gay women, gay disabled people, gay people of color, trans gay people, intersex gay people, and so on. It's about rooting out these issues from our community to create internal and external equality and support.
Blue-purple is for gay remembrance and mourning. It's for remembering those we have lost, throughout history as well as recently. It is for honoring their legacy and carrying forward in their names.
Blue is for gay pride and gay love. It's for pride in oneself, self-love, and the love gay people have for each other, whether as community members or as people in different types of relationships.
Teal is for supporting gay people, especially ones in dire situations. It's for protecting each other and our more vulnerable community members; the ones who can't come out or are in dangerous situations, the ones who are marginalized even in our community, and the ones who need to be uplifted the most.

I mostly use he/him AND she/her pronouns
I’m an asexual lesbian!
I also have 2 alt accounts, which are:

@littleasexualraccoonguy (my reblog account)
Do NOT interact if you are:
An Israel supporter, a supporter of Russian invasion, antisemitic, racist, homophobic, transphobic/a TERF, sexist, fat phobic, ableist, a bigot in general, anti-furry, a proshipper, a zoophile, a MAP, or a scam account
This account is a safe space for: queer people(duh), trans people(including those who use neopronouns :3), furries, therians, neurodivergent people, and people of any religion(as long as you aren’t a dickhead ofc)
(More info below)⬇️
Now for my interests: BoJack Horseman(my favorite character is Todd), Octonauts, Tails Noir, Breaking bad, Scott Pilgrim(manga, show, etc.) dinosaurs, silly critters especially raccoons, art(duh), history, Fight Club, The Boys, Taxi Driver, The Mule(2014), Cooties(2014) and the SAW franchise!
But the things I mostly post about are Octonauts, Indigo Park(not as much anymore), Tails Noir, occasional fanart of Todd Chavez, occasional Scott Pilgrim fanart, The Mule(2014), but since Saw is my primary hyperfixation it’s what I post the most about :3
Also one more thing, incase anyone wants to repost my art(which i doubt) im okay with it for the most part but PLEASE give me credit!!!
These are my userboxes so far⬇️ feel free to save and use any of them for yourself, i only made 4 of them anyways

- disabilities/cluster b disorders/systems/AAC users. i am not any of these things so if i say/do something out of line please tell me! but i love you guys and you're absolutely welcome here.
- proshippers (if this bothers you block and move on)
- furries. not personally one of y'all but i think you're neat and you make cool art :]
- literally, like, anyone, as long as you're not a dick
you are not welcome here:
- terfs, transphobes, exclusionists, anti-mspec, anti-lesboy, and people who think transandrophobia is "fake" or whatever. go away i don't like you (or at least be prepared to be blocked or yelled at)
- similarly to last, anyone who starts queer infighting or hates on less visible queers/strangers who don't "look" queer, the whole "bi girl's straight bf" nonsense (i don't care if you think someone is cishet. you have no way of knowing that. let's stop hating people for immutable characteristics and start having thoughtful criticisms of people's actions thanks)
- ZIONISTS. BYE BYE
- (but also antisemites because come on now let's notttt. judiasm ≠ zionism)
- ableists, fatphobia, racists/bigots, general dickheads
- antishippers (again, you can either leave now or expect to be argued with)
other general stuff:
- i accept anonymous asks! and also non anonymous ones. ask me shit idk
- i am autistic and VERY gullible. if i reblog a "bait" post, or something that's clearly fake or a joke with a genuine reaction, i'm probably not playing some 5d irony chess i'm probably just stupid. sorry y'all i'm trying :\
- i don't rb nsfw. not as, like, a rule, i just don't see the value in doing so lol. if i ever did i'd tag it and probably update this
UPDATE: thought i should clarify, i don't rb nsfw but i do rb nsfw humor, like dick jokes and stuff. hope there's no confusion
- i argue with people!! i enjoy arguing with people!! usually it's in replies and not reblogs but still. if you are allergic to stuff like that maybe don't follow me? i also rb "discourse" posts, mostly transmasc support stuff and callouts of transandrophobia, general solidarity stuff with the trans community or lgbt community as a whole, proship stuff, politics, current events, that kinda thing.
- this is, shockingly, supposed to be a fandom blog! (i got carried away; i always do.) current fandoms include: ace attorney (the one this blog was supposed to be about), doctor who (childhood hyperfixation come back to bite my ass), and splatoon (no excuse). also mha is basically my abusive boyfriend stockholm syndroming me to stay at this point but i'm trying to get better (not). you can find the records of my failing recovery at @alex-is-losing-sleep-over-krbk /hj (i also sometimes shamelessly rb this blog's posts over there lol)
and i guess since i'm mentioning fandoms, here are my fav ships: wrightworth, klapollo, franmaya, thoschei, pearlina, agent 24, & cuttletavio.
anyways, that's about it. love you all :]

I think as someone who has followed you for a very long time (pre 2016) other anon will forgive me for saying that you have had open and long mutual interactions with trans women on this website the entire time I've followed you. I recently found an old post you wrote about trans women's right to determine how, what, and to whom to label genitals when "penis repulsion" was the special flavor of terf panic over lesbians dating trans women. I know you would never wave around what you've been doing as an answer to these people because it wouldn't change any missteps you actually made.
It's quite a lot to me that anyone actually could have followed you during that era and believe anything but that you were a little too credulous of butchcommunist's excuses when she started to get called out. Early on, she had trans feminine mutuals who also stood by her. You're certainly not being more supportive or writing completely new content about fighting transmisogyny to cover your tracks. You have been this way for as long as I have followed you. Feel free not to publish this if it seems too defensive, but I think some people's memories are shorter or more muddled than mine.
you're right that I'm wary of appearing to be 'doing PR'—people who are upset with me about this are perfectly within their rights to be upset, and if I can set anyone's mind at ease by clarifying that I believe that to be the case and informing my current followers who may not have been around at the time of what happened with this a few years back, then I'm happy to do that.
the post and the time that you're talking about were around the same time that I first started to feel reservations about some of her posts (like referring to "gender nonconformance" when asked specifically about trans women; or saying that no one is ever obligated to have sex with anyone else, and then later saying that she never "said or implied" that she thought it was trans women who were pressuring cis lesbians to have sex with them, when, like, you kind of don't have to, that is obviously what people are going to assume).
I discussed these reservations with people in my personal life (this must have been 2017?) but basically came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to unfollow or block her yet because my stance on counter-recruiting is that, when it seems like things could go either way (like, someone is still vocally denying animus for trans women or support for policies that limit transition, but evidently flirting with terf ideology), it is the opposite of helpful to cut them off.
because for sure the people who are not going to cut them off.... are terfs..... and so now you've closed the possibility (however large or slim it might have been) of them reading what you write and reblog on the subject and changing their mind. and I believe that terfs know this, and play up the whole "genderists ostracise you just for asking innocent little questions" thing, and use this to drive recruitment. but maybe this is credulous of me.
I also believe that if someone is plainly a 'crypto'-terf to the extent that they are knowingly interacting with self-professed terfs (so, barely 'crypto' at that point) then it is too far gone for that, and the only thing you're doing by continuing to allow them to reblog from you is furthering the point of crypto-terfs in the first place (namely, to draw people in by degrees through 'legitimate,' 'respectable' engagement with left-wing people that gradually shades into more and more overtly terf circles—same as any other fascist or far-right ideology). so that's why I unfollowed when I did.
during 2018-2019 I was attending grad school, which required 16-17 hours of work from me every day, and so I wasn't online very much at all—if memory serves, the 'private terf chat' thing came out somewhere in the middle of this time, and I unfollowed when I was 'back' and able to investigate / catch up to what was going on.
people are welcome to disagree with my ideas about terf recruitment and potential strategies for counter-recruitment, which I am not even sure that I'm right about but am merely trying things out as I go. it makes total sense for people to guess that I saw the writing on the wall and to view this kind of thing as affiliation, and I sincerely am sorry to anyone who felt less safe, then or now, because of my actions.
the reason that I haven't talked in depth about this before is that, like, again, it seems like spin! lmao

Welcome to the Black Cat lounge 🐈‍⬛
Tumblr media
A bit about me:
Hello my name is Elliot but I much prefer to go by Black Cat. I’m a 24 year old black butch lesbian who stays in their corner of the internet. I go by any pronouns so don’t be afraid to use any on me. I live in the US and work in the early mornings and basically have the rest of the day off. I also have three cat babies (Barbie, Broomstick, and Kirby). I have ADHD so I tend to be a bit scatterbrained at times and don’t always focus on one thing.
Tumblr media
Media I’m into (stars meaning I’m super hyperfixated on):
⭐️Marvel
⭐️Spiderman
⭐️ATSV/ITSV
Undertale/Deltarune
Resident evil village
⭐️Fnaf

⭐️Castlevania
⭐️Minecraft
Nintendo
⭐️Lumpytouch Waldo series

Before you follow:
Before you hit the follow button I’d like to put out a few things. This page is 18+, I don’t feel comfortable with minors following or interacting with me. I don’t post or reblog heavy nsfw content but I do tend to say or share things that are suggestive in nature. On top of that I want to have an adult safe space where I don’t have to be careful about what I say just in case. So sorry if you’re under 18 please don’t follow me until you’re a legal adult (and if you do you’re going to get blocked).
On top of that I tend to swear a lot so if that makes you uncomfortable then don’t follow me.
I am not interested in nor will participate in any fandom discourse/drama. It’s the same thing that rears its head up every two months or so and it’s repetitive. I don’t care to see or hear about it. I have my own opinions and I welcome other’s so long as they are respectful. We can agree to disagree.
I do tend to talk about serious topics that’s going on in the world, specifically race and politics. If you don’t like seeing that then my page isn’t for you. The world and its people are suffering and we can’t stay in the dark anymore.
My beliefs:
I am fully ACAB. I do not like or trust the police no matter how “nice” they may be. As a black person living in the US I am constantly nervous about being around the cops, especially if they’re white. Rest in peace Sonya Massey, say her name.
I am pro Palestine 🇵🇸. Fuck isnotreal and anyone who supports a genocide and an ethnic cleansing.
I am also pro Congo 🇨🇩, pro Sudan 🇸🇩, pro Yemen 🇾🇪, pro Hawaii 🌺. Free them all.
I am pro choice. Abortion rights is human rights and no one should get to choose but myself.
Sex work is real work. The porn industry is shady asf and takes advantage of its workers.
Trans rights are human rights 🏳️‍⚧️
Black women are the goat. Will always give flowers to my queens 🖤🤎
Black Lives Matter ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽
Health care should be provided to everyone and should be easily accessible.
Homeless people are human fucking beings. Treat them with respect and kindness and leave them the fuck alone.
Fuck AI art. It’s not real art it’s stealing from other artists who actually put work into it.
Tumblr media
DNI (Do Not Interact):
Do not engage with me if you’re into the following
Zionist
Proship
Pro life
Racist
Xenophobic
Zoophilia
Fatphobia
Homophobia
Transphobia
Erasure/fetishizing lesbians
Trump supporters
Tumblr media
End notes:
I want to end it off with saying at the end of the day this is my page and I’ll handle it however I want it. If you don’t like that or don’t like me for any reason, block me. I don’t need any negativity thrown my way. I don’t mind talking to people and interacting with others who share the same interests as me. My ask box is always open! My page is also a safespace for black people, queer or not. As a black writer any fics I make with a main character or Y/N will always be depicted black since there’s few fics that have us in it. If you want to see my fully feral and nsfw drabbles or thoughts you can follow me on @bearlybella-but-sluttier (although I need to revamp that blog)

Good evening fuckos
My blog is changing. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. So I’ve decided to make a new pinned post to make sure everyone is on the same page
anyways
Hi I’m Hestia! ❤️
I’m a 22 y/o astronomy student, trans woman (she/her pronouns), pansexual/lesbian/dyke/whatever, self described hedonist, and all around dork.
Small blog specific shit: my DM’s and asks are open so come say hi! Also I am not afraid nor will I hesitate to use the block button at my own discretion.
Particular interests of mine include Star Trek, Brandon Sanderson’s “Cosmere” books, Dungeons and Dragons, video games such as The Outer Wilds and the Horizon series, Avatar the Last Airbender, Starkid, and so so much more
As I said above, I am a trans woman. If this upsets you, keep it to yourself. Your opinion about my life is irrelevant and it will not influence my decisions or choices. If you think trans people (women, men, anything in between or outside) don’t deserve respect and dignity you are a straight up bad person and I wish you the opportunity to expand your understanding of human experience so that you can stop being a bad person
As for that hedonism bit, I will, on occasion, reblog or make posts about sex, sexuality, intimacy, consent, kink, aftercare, etc. I will also occasionally reblog things like nude artwork.
With all that being said, it’s probably best if I say
This blog is an 18+ only space
This blog is not a safe space for TERFs, Exclusionists, and/or anyone who thinks there is a right and wrong way to be queer. Labels are just words someone made up. Go make up your own!
Finally some statements: I am and always will be an avid and passionate supporter of Asexuals, aromantics, anyone on the aroace spectrum, intersex folks, folks who have conflicting identity labels (MSPEC Lesbians, etc.), neopronoun users, and anyone else who has had people tell them they aren’t being queer the right way.
To all of you, the broken the beaten and the damned, the lovers and the dreamers, the human and the dancer, Have fun. Be queer. Love with all your heart
Life Before Death, Strength Before Weakness, Journey Before Destination

i support all neopronouns, xenopronouns, and xenogenders as long as they aren’t meant as a mockery of some other identity/group. i support “weird” identities like contradicting labels, mspec lesbians/gays, etc. i also support other “weird” groups like furries and therians. i support you no matter how you identify, as long as you are not harming anyone. if you disagree with me on this, feel free to leave.
i will add to these lists if i realize i forgot something!

disclaimer: i’m not very good at tagging consistently so the tags might not be very reliable lol
“brain thoughts”: non-fandom posts

Browsing through a hard disk, I stumbled upon an old edit I did of Hogwarts castle with many Pride flags on its spires. Now I’m going to tell the story behind this picture.
Back in June 2020, after Harry Potter’s author started vomiting her anti-trans rhetoric, I found a nice picture on Instagram of Hogwarts castle from Universal Studios Park in Florida with many Pride flags photoshopped on it. The message was about Hogwarts always welcoming anyone, no matter what HP's author says. The trans flag stood out higher over the other flags to show particular support to the group that was, and sadly still is, being targeted. Since I liked it very much, I shared it here on my Tumblr blog, crediting the people who made it (as I always do whenever I share something that it is not mine).
The thing is the Lesbian flag was nowhere to be found, but I honestly didn’t notice when I posted the picture. Why the authors omitted it, I can’t tell. Probably their focus was on the Trans flag, or perhaps they just forgot. Whatever the reason, they surely had nothing against lesbians: they included the Lesbian Pride flag in other edits they made.
After I published it, the post went literally ablaze, with an incredibly large number of interactions that just kept skyrocketing by the minute (which is unusual for a blog consisting mostly of reblogs like my own). While the picture and the message were generally appreciated and understood, a lot of people were vocal about the missing Lesbian flag, accusing me of omitting it on purpose and, long story short, of being lesbophobic (no matter how I clearly specified that I merely shared and didn’t make the edit).
Out of rage and concern that some trolls might go on Instagram and harass the original creators, I impulsively deleted the post. What made me particularly angry was both the accusations of discriminating against Lesbians, whom as a Gay man myself I actually see as sisters in this heteronormative world, and the fact that none of those folks who complained had never bothered to reblog any of the important articles and petitions about LGBTQ+ rights I shared on my blog. A missing flag in an edit I shared caused much uproar, but LGBTQ+ people (including Lesbians) being persecuted and killed was treated as an inconsequential matter here. And this is the issue with many toxic tumblrinx, who see themselves as experts and activists of LGBTQ+ rights, when all they do is shipping same-sex fictional characters, prioritizing them over actual LGBTQ+ people.
Someone commented that I shouldn't use the “big tags” (I guess they were referring to #transphobia and #trans rights), for “this crap.” Well, whenever I used the big tags for really important matters, this person never showed up; I know because those posts usually get three reblogs at best.
There were even people who took the time to make memes about the missing Lesbian flag. Again, they had time for this, but they could never spend a few seconds to reblog important posts I shared. But also: they opened Photoshop to make those memes, but none of them thought about using it to add the missing flag.
I suspect that maybe not all but certainly some of those people who stirred such a shitstorm were transphobes, who tried to shift the concern on transphobia to something else.
The specific Gay/Vincian flag was also missing in the picture: since I am a Gay man myself, was I self-discriminating?
So, after I took down the picture, I made an edit of my own with my limited Photoshop skills. Not only I added the Lesbian flag, I added even more Pride flags that were absent in the edit that caused so much controversy. Of course, not every existing Pride flags as that would be impossible, especially considering that more and more orientations and gender identites are costantly identified (mind you, I said “identified” not “invented”). But of course, all of them are valid and identified in the Rainbow Pride flag and its variants.
At the time I didn't post this edit of mine, because right after finishing it, I believed that Tumblr simply wasn't worth it, given what had recently happened. And if I believed that it was possible to separate the art from the artist then, I'm not exactly sure about it anymore in Harry Potter's case. I think that the whole series is tainted by the author's hateful views, and that just keeping it relevant, even without buying official merch, will still fill the author's pocket. However, to give some sort of closure to this matter, here it is:
