In case anyone missed it, Roier did a twitter space earlier where he talked about why he’s been pretty MIA recently.

Here’s a full translation, but, basically, he got really sick with some kind of flu on his way to visit his family for the holidays because some idiots on his airplane weren’t wearing masks while actively being sick (with what apparently is a potentially-deadly strain of the flu.) He isn’t actively sick anymore, but he’s still feeling the after effects pretty badly. He’s hoping to start streaming again soon with TLOU and some other stuff he’s downloaded, but he doesn’t know when he’ll be able to.

So spare some thoughts for him, and remember to mask up in public, especially if you’re feeling under the weather!

au august day 2: immortals

AU where steve and eddie become immortal but at the ages of like- 70 and 71.

they live in a big, spooky, victorian era home at the end of their street and spend (all of) their days sitting on the porch drinking tea.

they befriend the neighborhood kids and then their kids and then theirs.

it’s one of those situations where all the adults in town say “i swear they’ve been old since i was a kid!”

but this time they’re always right.

dandelion is indeed the worst but if he’s not present in the next book i would legitimately be sorrowful as the whole thing will become a slog . you basically cannot have the “short stories” era-of-the-timeline iteration of geralt without dandelion, it would be like eating unbuttered bread.

though it’s not like season of storms did them dirty, i wasn’t disappointed with it (… with regards to them), but since it’s literally been over 20 years since the saga was finished i’m trying to prepare for any potential reality
