the Spiderverse fanart I did!! I had a lot of fun finding inspiration in the movie while keeping my own style. Also... I just love them so much! i wanted to have Pav with them... but I lacked time to have a 4rth character!

Another way that Mihawk’s perfectionism and obsessiveness rears its head is that he wanted Shanks to love him best.
Realistically in terms of people Shanks was probably all Mihawk had and so by default he loved him best but Shanks has so many people an ever growing list of people that he loves and where does Mihawk fall on that list? It’s easy to belive for a long time that he’s at the top. After all it’s him that Shanks keeps crossing oceans for. It’s him that Shanks comes back to again and again testing steel against steel, skin and skin. And things are good
But then Shanks goes to lay low in a little village in the east blue and meets a little boy.
And Mihawk doesn’t even know that he’s “lost” till it’s too late. Until Shanks has already sacrificed an arm and a hat for that boy and how could Mihawk ever compete with that?
And what’s the point of competing if you can’t win? If you can’t be the best?
So he leaves.

honestly here for gay francesca/Michaela and very much here for bi Benedict but are you telling me they're gonna completely ignore raging resident lesbian eloise!?!?!
I didnt read the books (bc I don't care to) but I heard eloise's story has her being pen pals with the love interest? so how's about, and walk with me here, since she's in Scotland and everyone's favourite repressed mean lesbian cressida is in Wales, they start a correspondence, first patching things up and eventually getting to scissor?

my tiktok fyp has been a crazy fucking experience today, from Max x Bradley ship edits (FROM THE GOOFY MOVIE) to dsmp nostalgia discussions 😭😭
ANYWAY this tiktok audio that goes
c!Dream: If you can't kill me, does that make me some kind of god?
(Challenging and smug(?) tone + almost mad, power tripping?)
c!Tommy: you're a monster
(deadpan, negative in denial but not sad, slowly losing hope?)
c!Dream: I'm a god, I'm actually a god!
(Showing off, smirk, reveling in power)
This audio plus a religious Tommy itches my brain right because he sees dream as someone dirtying what it means to be a ‘god’. Tommy believes in Prime who provides him wealth and is overall a helpful and caring powerful being.
Meanwhile this green dude that tortures him claims to be a ‘god’. How dare he, a sadistic man, dirty the title of being a god? How could he compare himself to a being at the same level as Prime? Prime who he worships, built a church for, and who provides for him and graces him with wealth?

Even though it's canon that Makomo never actually met Sabito and Giyuu while she was still alive, I love how many people (including me) still pretend that they are a trio regardless. The vibes are just too strong.
But it makes me think though, if Gotouge may have originally intended for them to be a trio, but maybe scrapped the idea when they realize there's no hint of Makomo in Giyuu's design, except just having a slightly similar hairstyle.

I just want to talk about the nursery being painted and the purpose of the Tomb to be without a door. Anastasia had a family - and putting to the side the pact with Alecto there's some implicit symbolism to John asking for the workers of the Ninth to die constructing the Tomb with that image of new life. (Still can't articulate my disbelief that he went and didn't think that asking Anastasia of all people, The one who lost her cavalier to him, would have problems)
Yeah. Especially finding this out about the Ninth, where nurseries becoming tombs is a thing we're sensitive about.
On one level we've always known Anastasia had a family. Like, we know she's Harrow's direct ancestor. You can't be heir to the line of someone who never had children. But the nursery.... Yeah. It really hammers it in. Her friends painted a nursery mint green for her children.
And now it's a tomb.
