you felt a dip in the spot next you. well, more like an earthquake, because your boyfriend percy had flung himself on the bed beside you, a soft and muffled group escaping his lips in doing so.

you smiled softly at the mop of curls laying face down next to you as you continued reading. percy looked up at you as your eyes scanned the pages of the novel.

“baby…” percy chimed. you looked up from your task once again. you hummed softly, indicating he should continue with whatever he had to say. he didn’t say anything, he just layed his head of curls on your book as it was in your lap. you laughed softly as you moved your book over, placing a bookmark between the pages and setting it on your nightstand.

you subconsciously started playing with percy’s hair, running your fingers through it and massaging his scalp.

as you two adjusted and he was now laying on your chest as you two lay in the dark, he placed soft angel like kisses on your neck, one after the other. his hair tickling your collarbone and jawline as well. you giggled.

”i love you.” he mumbled quietly in the crook of your neck. “so so so much.” he continued tracing small shapes on your collarbone area.

“i love you too.” you replied. “more than anything.” you told him tracing the freckles on his upper arm.

he smiled, and you smiled. a chaste kiss was shared between the two of you. your soft pink lips and percy’s slightly chapped but sweet lips connected for a brief couple of seconds before breaking apart.

there was a serene silence, until percy spoke up. “did y’know you’re really pretty?” he asked, looking up at you with those eyes. you rolled your eyes softly as you blushed and couldn’t conceal the cheesy smile on your face.

“what? it’s true. you’re the prettiest, best, most amazing, sweetest person i have ever met.” he spoke. you shook your head with that goofy grin on your face, you couldn’t seem to wipe off.

the next hour was filled with kisses. all over, on the temple, on the forehead, on the cheek but especially on the neck.

as you continued moving your fingers through percy’s hair softly, he fell asleep in your arms. soft snores came from his slightly parted lips. you kissed his temple softly, as you cherished the moment and fell asleep as well.

I’m gonna add a little bit of lore under the cut :D

In my AU, Narinder’s crown never spoke to him. The other crowns spoke to their users, but the red crown refused. It would sometimes open its eye whenever Narinder had strong emotions or when he was in his domain, but nothing else from that. It’s kinda why Narinder believed he chose the wrong domain.

He begins to question himself, maybe he has to rediscover? Branch out? Hell- Even Leshy had his crown working with him before his induction ceremony. (He’s older?? How the fuck??)

Narinder’s jealousy got in the way of him bonding with the crown and took away from him figuring out his ruling. When Emery gets it, it obviously takes them a while to start speaking with the crown. (even with their vocal cords being shattered, the beginning of the cult was very rough- using sign language to talk sucked sometimes) The difference between them is the fact that Emery didn’t start questioning her role, Narinder did.

At least he believes so, maybe the crown never picked him? Who knows.

I wanna write more- but it’s spoilers ;)

I gotta say I will miss drawing them and we'll see if any of the human realm drama ever gets solved. You gotta make up your own ending for that, unless I get back into it, no promises tho. ;) Mostly I feel bad for this au's Xichen,🙈poor guy. Though of course Wangji wouldn't just fuck off forever without telling him where he is, and maybe seeing his own little brother in this form will force him to reconsider his biases. For now wangxian are living their best life with A-Yuan and the rest of the Wens somewhere deep in the ocean.

I just finished making Starlight's Step 2 Bio! This girl's trying to keep it together while dealing with her own shit lol.

I'm just gonna dump some info about her about her:

She took fencing as her after school activities cuz it looked cool (I dunno if like that even exists in Golden Grove but let me dream lol)

She dyed her hair the same color as her mom's so that it'd be easier to tell she's her child (it got annoying having to deal with people saying she doesn't look like her mom)

She modernized her outfits abit because people kept telling her that she dresses like a person in the 1900s

She's taller than most teens her age & gets mistaken for one of the upperclassmen

She started walking instead of riding her bike in between Steps 1 & 2 because her bike wouldn't be able to carry her fencing equipment

Despite her crush on Qiu, she gets nervous around them because of their cold personality

She realized she had a crush on Tamarack around Step 2 (Asteria already had a crush on Tamarack all the way back in Step 1 but she wasn't sure if it was one since the concept of having a crush with the same gender was new to her)
