As far as the world is concerned, Lu Ten II doesn't exist and the Royal Bloodline ends with Princess Azula. The little kid that follows Prince Zuko everywhere? That's Ten Ten, an orphaned stowaway his Crew found and adopted for some weird reason no-one ever questions—the kid is just that lovable.

(It helps, honestly, that Lu Ten II is a carbon-copy of poor, forgotten Ursa. No one would ever think to connect him with Fire Lord Ozai, long may he reign.)

Little Ten Ten loves to run off when the Crew is on shore leave. He gets into trouble sometimes, but only because of his chronic inability to look away from people who need help (it makes Zuzu both so proud and so shouty-because-he's-worried. It's fun until it isn't).

By now the Crew knows not to panic when the kid goes missing for a couple of hours in a harbor town—which is why no one noticed Ten Ten's disappearance until it was too late.

"Could someone please explain to me," what starts as a mutter becomes a shout as anxiety takes over Sokka, "why on earth did we go into town to buy necessary, highly specific supplies, and returned—not only with a stolen waterbending scroll—stolen! From pirates, Katara!—but with a Fire Nation-looking KID?!"

While Ten Ten is having the time of his life goofing with Aang, out-sassing why-is-this-happening-to-me Sokka, and melting Katara's heart—Zuko is losing his mind, sanity, and temper because how on Agni's name do you lose a Prince of your nation?

Needless to say, the pirates kidnap the pretty waterbending thief and her kid with the sharp tongue and fancy-looking clothes. Which turns out to be a Bad Idea™ because, well, a skinny guy from the watertribes and his way-too-young-to-be-bald companion? They can absolutely deal with them.

A Crew's worth of murderous Fire Nation soldiers lead by the unforgiving, terrifying, bloodthirsty Prince?

insane to me that if harvey had been even an iota less insane, he probably could have gotten mike to be a lawyer the more normal way. i mean, man is a big shot attorney who graduated fifth in his class at harvard law school and probably has a gazillion connections and he absolutely could have just gotten mike into harvard law school (and talked harvard people into looking the other way about how he got kicked out of college . . . worse people have gone to law school tbh), and then harvey could have just negotiated with jessica about not having a personal associate for another three years or just have had mike become a summer associate or something and then hire mike onto pearson hardman, but noOOoOoOoOOoOOO, harvey was so impatient to get his hands on mike that he had to go through this whole fraud thing. gay behavior

Like I know it's self indulgence but it'd be so funny to see a full kardashian style Brucie Wayne, spoilt playboy prince of Gotham, local sunshine idiot on the front page every other week for darwinian levels of idiocy or billionaire levels of donations.

But he gets kidnapped or something and there's illusions or mind magics that make him think he's in the bat suit and then he gets dumped in the middle of a live world broadcast arena to fight some goons.

Like he doesn't think anything of it, batman's been kidnapped and forced into gladitorial arenas for sport many times before, maybe he always carries concealed weapons so he's still got like grapples and batarangs and stuff, but he's just going full doomslayer on these guys. Tell you what, what about the whole justice league. Just a group of the motleyest people you've ever met. There's about as many famous people as there are absolute nobodies.

There's a renowned museum curator flying and uppercutting aliens so hard they get tossed across the room. There's a guy who spoke in science conferences about meta containment procedures running up the wall and delivering a roundhouse kick to three enemies at once. Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen. Of all people. Two world famous idiot ceo celebrities. And they're back to back whaling on armoured alien henchmen like a well oiled team. A ten year old podcaster shooting lightning from his fingers and no one in the group bats an eye.

Contact Other Plane really is such a perfect wizard and warlock spell, because it truly encapsulates the hubris of those classes. It's the most extreme "fuck around and find out" spell. It's like, you can make a collect call out of this world. You might get some answers, but you also might go insane for trying it. You'll be fine in the morning, though. honestly i think cc disaster twins make me so emo because leo is angsting about shit donnie dont CAREEE about like it's very funny and a little sad. leo is so focused on wanting to rip the stars out of the sky for him that he doesn't realize donnie doesn't want anything more than a hand to hold. leo's experiencing what it was like to aim for something he knew he was unreachable. he's learning the futility of blind, stupid tenacity. donnie's already gone through it all. the last thing he wants is leo to run himself ragged trying to give him everything.

donnie only remembers what it was like to be held. that's all he needs now, but leo is so convinced it isn't enough. and knowing what we know about ninpo, in a more metaphorical sense it is.

I was gonna get upset about all the fanart I see of Connor having a pet gourami in a shitty fish bowl but instead I'll think about him setting up a tank properly so I don't get mad.

He'd do a fishless cycle and check the nitrates, ammonia, and pH levels with his analyzing software every day like clockwork. If Hank's around to see it he'd be disgusted at Connor drinking fish water (but this is truly a rite of passage for every aquarist).

He'd spend weeks setting up a tank with a stable microbiome before he purchases that first fish, and yes I think it's fitting that he would go with a dwarf gourami. Once fish enter the picture, he'd be on top of those water changes with more precision than any human would be capable of. Only the highest quality pellets and live food for the inhabitants. Perhaps he'd sample them himself to make sure the packaging advertises the ratio of nutrients accurately.

If the first act he takes that leads to software instability is to save the life of a fish, and as a deviant he decides to be sentimental about it and take to fishkeeping, he would treat those fish with the utmost care. He isn't flippant about things like this; he would be purposeful in taking this up as a hobby. He'd research it thoroughly and lean into the nurturing aspect of it. Hands designed to kill instead carefully pruning back aquatic plants and rearranging hides for the more skittish fish to take refuge in. Hands that have taken lives instead now working to ensure these small ones are as well-lived as they can be.
