It's been 2 weeks, since step 1 of your body exploration project, Bakugou still refuses to call it that, instead insisting it's just horny hormones possessing you both, despite it, all he can think about is you, your pliant body, laying on the floor as he explored your chest.
He couldn't get the image of you out of his head, late night thoughts spent on wondering what you looked like underneath all the clothing, he understood your curiosity now.
"When are you free this week?" He spoke, breaking the silence in your office, you quirk your eyebrow at him, silently asking him for an explanation.
"I am not free till Saturday," You rummage through your drawers, "but I do have 2 days off after that," you pull out a crumbled paper, which had your schedule for the month. "Why though?"
He let's out a deep breath, wondering if he should ask you about the arrangement you both had, on one hand he didn't want to come across as some kind of degenerate looking for nearest and quick fuck and on the other hand, he rubbed his cock raw with your face in his mind.
You watch him closely, his face getting more constipated with each second. "When are we gonna continue that?" He blurts eventually, facing heating up as you continue to stare at him in confusion.
"Continue what?"
He groans, hands coming to rub his temple, he contemplated running away in that moment, at least he knows you still haven't figured out what he is asking for, he takes his chance, "You know, showing each other..." His voice quietens towards the end of his sentence, although you instantly understand what he was asking, you still tilt your head in faux confusion, furrowing your eyebrows to emphasize your non existent dilemma.
"Ugh!" He grunts, "I want to see your cunt!" He almost yelled, instantly cringing and wondering if someone outside the office may have heard him.
You press your lips towards, trying and failing to stifle a laugh, the giggle escapes, "Jeez, Suki, way to be subtle." You tease him a little, enjoying his flustered appearance.
"Don't," he sucks in a deep breath, "don't fucking bring it up."
"I am free tonight." You put him out of his misery, showing him the light at the end of a dark tunnel and eventually your pussy.
His nods his head, not meeting your eyes, "I'll pick you up at 7." Before he brisks out the office.
-----
It's almost 9 pm when you get done with dinner, something bakugou insisted he cooks for you before you both perform step 2 of body exploration project, it warmed your heart a little, warmed your pussy alot.
Despite all the teasing you put him through while he cooked, you were the one dripping, excited to finally see him.
He snarls, face scrunched up as he examines you sitting criss crossed on him bed, face supported by your hands as you waited for him to strip, "Why the fuck do I strip down while you stay clothed?" He argued, arms crossed.
You scoff, leaning back on your elbows, "If I remember correctly," you cock your head slightly, "I took my shirt off last time, so fairly you should be next," you wave around your hand, gesturing towards him legs, "so pants off, peaches."
He gets your point, but that doesn't really help his situation, he slowly strips off his pants then his underwear, he was hard, had been hard for weeks now, the vivid images of you, making his cock drool with precum.
He watches your reaction, the widening of your eyes, how they locked on his dick making it twitch, the slight parting of your lips, he hopes it's good enough for you, "Done oogling?" He snarls, trying to hide his nervousness, "whore." He spits out, it's harmless, not even an insult you know it too.
"For you, always." You wink at him cheekily, teasing smile painted in your face, as you crawl over to the end of the bed, coming in to take a closer look. "Do you mind sitting down, I kinda wanna see it from all angles."
"Ehh! The fuck do you mean see from all angles." He groans, every second with your eyes on him, pushing him closer to shooting his load, he is scared that he'll end up spraying without touching his cock.
"Wanna observe it Suki," You looked up at him from where you kneeled on the bed, "Can I touch you?" You ask, mouth watering at the sight of him, he sure did clean shave everything, he nods his head in response, too shocked to say anything else, "Words Suki, say it out load." You mean it as consent, he follows it like a command.
"Yes, fucking touch me," he groans when your hands instantly come to hold his waist, swaying slightly as you get close enough, that he feels your breath on his skin.
"It's really pretty, Suki" You examine him, dainty fingers coming to wrap around the base of his cock, he stutters, hips bucking forward unconsciously, you hear him mumble out an apology, his hand pressed up against his mouth, to stop the moans from leaking out.
It however can't stop the leaking of his cock, precum oozes out, it's thick, you could mistake it for come, "Is it always this wet?" You queried, thumbing at his slit, pinching your fingers together, his pre stringing.
"Shut. Up." He whined, before thick cum shoots out if his cock, you are fast enough to not let it get in your eye, but not fast enough to stop it from landing on your lips and lower.
Everything stills for a moment, you stare ahead, at his cock, your hand still wrapped around his base as he continues to twitch. He can't meet your eyes anymore. He thinks it's all over, that you'll realise what a loser he is, what he doesn't expect is for you to lick away at you thumb, fingers moving to collect more cum as you clean away all of it.
You catch is expression, "What?" You pout, "It's part of the exploration," you clean the remaining strings with your t-shirt before pulling it over your head and tossing it to the side.
He stood still, processing what just happened, he dick still twitching as he finally moved to kneel between your legs, hands slowly coming to rest on your thighs.
"Excited to see my pussy, Suki?" You voice is low, mind hazy with his fingers so close to your cunt, you lift your legs, pulling off your short, plain white panties coming into the view something you chose for the night.
"It's so fucking wet." His hand moved to the back of your thighs, lifting them slightly, as he stared at the almost see through spot.
"It's cause of you." Your speech is little slurred, words coming out slow as your brain tried to imagine what he would feel like against your hard little clit.
"I better fix it then."
Oh, how the tables were suddenly turned.

the great hall dining guide : five stars or food poisoning? back to the masterlist
no hunger in hogwarts. the great hall is an empire of excess, a temple to the art of never saying no to seconds (or sevenths). the long house tables are stacked with plates that fill and refill as if controlled by some benevolent, slightly overbearing god-parent who cannot fathom the concept of "i'm full."
hi, i'm emma, i shifted to my marauders dr, i'm here to yap.
Tumblr media
❛❛ when to show up ?
breakfast :  starts at 7:00 am, but nobody with a sense of self-preservation gets there at the crack of dawn unless they have quidditch practice or are a first-year who still thinks hogwarts runs on a logical schedule. prime time is 7:30–8:30 am, when the food is still hot and everyone is too groggy to engage in unnecessary morning conversations. if you come after 9:00 am, expect half-warm toast and a few sad sausages.
lunch :  served from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. 12:30 is the best time if you want first dibs on everything, but the best people-watching happens closer to 1:00 pm when people start arguing over last-minute essay deadlines. if you’re running late and slide in at 1:25 pm, good luck – you’re getting whatever’s left.
dinner :  6:00 pm sharp, ends at 8:00 pm. 7:00 pm is the sweet spot – not too early that you look overeager, not too late that you get the rejected drumsticks and a dubious slice of treacle tart. sitting down at 7:45 pm means you're scavenging for whatever scraps are left like a victorian orphan.
 ❛❛ where to sit ?
slytherin table :  best for hushed scheming, power lunches, and exchanging contraband under the table. do not sit here if you can’t handle judgmental side-eyes while buttering your bread.
ravenclaw table :  ideal for finishing homework mid-meal. also where people pretend they’re above caring about gossip while actively eavesdropping on every conversation. the back half of the table is safer if you don’t want to hear someone dissecting 17th-century wandlore at 8 am.
gryffindor table :  loud. expect at least one person standing on the bench telling a story that is objectively not that funny. best if you enjoy chaotic meal settings or want to be involved in something ridiculous before you’ve even finished your juice.
hufflepuff table :  safest bet for a peaceful meal, but you will 100% be roped into sharing your food. the friendliest seating arrangement, but also the most likely to involve a group discussion about everyone’s day when you just wanted to eat in silence.
professor’s table :  do not sit here unless you have a death wish.
❛❛ what to eat (and avoid) .
best breakfast items :  the porridge is solid (literally, if you come too late), but the best move is the warm croissants with honey. also, the lemon & apple pasties are basically a cheat code if you want to smuggle food out for later.
lunch must-haves :  steak and kidney pie is better than you’d expect. if there’s a soup option, proceed with caution, half the time it’s delicious, half the time it’s some medieval potion that smells like a transfiguration accident.
dinner essentials :  roast anything is good, but the yorkshire puddings are a religious experience. also, the treacle tart is worth elbowing someone for.
what to avoid :  the questionable fish dishes. boiled meant. you don’t know where that’s coming from, and you don’t want to. also, anything neon-colored. if it looks like it belongs in a potions class, it probably does.
 ❛❛ general survival tips .
don’t drink the pumpkin juice if you’re not in the mood for it. it’s literally everywhere, and by week three, you will hate it.
bring your own condiments if you care about flavour. hogwarts food is good, but nobody in this castle has heard of seasoning unless it's one of those other-culture-nights.
do not, under any circumstances, take the last dinner roll unless you want to start an inter-house war.
sitting too close to the staff table means your meal comes with a free ethics lecture from mcgonagall. proceed with caution.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
  q & a .
❛❛ what is breakfast like .
if you’ve never had breakfast in the great hall, you’ve never truly lived. that’s not hyperbole, that’s just the facts.
and the thing is,,,,,, it wasn’t just about the food. it was about the ritual. it was about getting there early, half-asleep and draped over the table, while the house elves sent up silver platters of steaming porridge and eggs and enough bacon to make even the most dedicated vegetarian question their life choices. it was about the lazy hum of morning gossip, about james and sirius trying to one-up each other with increasingly absurd breakfast combinations (once, i watched sirius put marmalade on a sausage. we don’t talk about it).
breakfast started early, before the sun had fully stretched its arms, and ended when the professors decided we were done loitering. if you weren’t there by the time mcgonagall sat down, you were basically on borrowed time.
❛❛ what is lunch like .
lunch at hogwarts was less of a meal and more of a tactical battle. the great hall would be an absolute warzone of students rushing in from classes, half of them looking like they’d barely survived whatever horrors had just unfolded in transfiguration.
the food appeared at exactly midday, no earlier, no later. if you showed up late, you were fighting for scraps, and by scraps, i mean you’d be left with 99 choices for meals instead of 100. scarcity, i know.
lunch was also prime time for food theft. you could be having an entirely normal conversation and, in the blink of an eye, your pumpkin pasty would be gone. sirius was the undisputed king of this, the man had the reflexes of a thief in victorian london. i once watched him steal an entire shepherd’s pie from remus’s plate without breaking eye contact. it was both terrifying and awe-inspiring.
❛❛ what is dinner like .
hogwarts dinners were the closest thing to divinity i’ve ever known. long wooden tables overflowing with everything you could possibly want: roast chicken, yorkshire pudding, steak, treacle tart so good it made you believe in love again. it was opulence, it was luxury, it was the kind of meal you dream about when you’re in some sad, muggle diner trying to convince yourself that soggy chips and watery gravy are ‘fine.’
 ❛❛ special occasions .
feast days at hogwarts were another level. halloween, christmas, the end-of-year banquet, these were events. these were festivals of indulgence. the house elves pulled out all the stops: whole roast turkeys, mountains of roast potatoes, rivers of rich, golden gravy, cauldron cakes stacked like towers. desserts that defied logic and probably several laws of nature. on halloween, the hall was covered in floating pumpkins and eerie green light, and the food had a vaguely chaotic energy to match (one year, the treacle tarts actually screamed when you bit into them. highly unsettling, but still delicious).
christmas dinner was something else entirely. it was warm and glowing and endless. crackers snapped, jokes were told, and dumbledore drank enough mead to make even him slightly ridiculous. it was the kind of meal you thought about for the rest of your life. it was family, it was home.
 ❛❛ what’s the deal with house-elves?
the hogwarts kitchen operates with the ruthless efficiency of a five-star hotel run by creatures legally bound to service.
a hundred or so house-elves live below the castle, working in near invisibility, preparing all meals and sending them up through enchanted pathways that deposit dishes straight onto the great hall tables. you cannot see the elves. you do not hear them. but you know they exist, like the wizarding world's most overworked stage crew.
you can also visit them in the kitchens. they're nice, say hi.
 ❛❛ can you request food?
hogwarts was a lot of things, but it was not a restaurant. if you wanted something specific, you either made a pilgrimage to the kitchens and begged the house elves (a move so shameful it had to be done in absolute secrecy. or if you like....really, really, really charmed them) or you suffered in silence. sirius, of course, once tried to get the great hall to serve "a proper fry-up" at dinner, only to be met with silence and what i can only describe as deeply offended energy from the floating candles.
but somehow, it didn’t matter. because the food was already perfect. and now, i have to live knowing that no meal will ever come close to a great hall dinner. it’s fine. i’m fine. i’ll just sit here, eating my disappointing, mortal food, and pretend my soup isn’t deeply depressing.
 ❛❛ what about drinks?
again, pumpkin juice. an obsession, a tyranny, a strange fixation. every meal, every table, a seemingly infinite supply. there is also water, milk (cold, in small glass jugs, looking like something out of a victorian schoolhouse), and for the older students at special occasions, a sweet, non-alcoholic mead that tastes like it wants to be alcoholic but isn’t. butterbeer, tragically, is an off-campus luxury.
❛❛ is there a meal schedule? like certain things on certain days? or do they just pile every type of food on the table?
hogwarts operates on a structured but generous meal plan. weekday breakfasts, always got your staples. porridge, toast, eggs, bacon, sausages, and the occasional wizarding oddity like blood pudding for the particularly cursed among us. but sundays are for extravagant brunch spreads. croissants. kippers. jams that taste like childhood summers. it’s as if the house-elves know that sunday means stress, existential whatever, dread, so they soften the blow with flaky pastry.
lunch is always dependable, usually soups and sandwiches or something hearty if you’ve got a double potions period ahead. dinner, though, is where the patterns emerge. mondays are classic british, shepherd’s pie, roast beef, yorkshire pudding. tuesdays are usually a little more continental, pastas, stews. fridays are always a feast, usually something big and festive. then you have the seasonal changes: october brings pumpkin-infused everything, winter means more roasts, few first weeks of summer term leans into fresher, lighter meals. but yes, the mainstay staples are always available. if you want treacle tart on a wednesday, it will be there.
❛❛ there’s wizard candy and drinks, but is there any other food? i’m sure at some point wizards put magic in any food they could think of just to see what would happen.
oh, absolutely. you’re thinking like a true hogwarts student. you know someone, at some point, tried to put magic into a loaf of bread just to see if it would slice itself (it did, but then it also tried to slice other things). beyond the standard chocolate frogs and pumpkin juice, wizarding cuisine includes a fair bit of magically enhanced food. firewhisky actually warms your throat as it goes down. fizzing whizzbees lift you half an inch off the ground. there are soups that change flavour as you eat them, pies that hum lullabies if you’re up late studying. and don’t even get me started on the experimental drinks at the three broomsticks, someone once ordered a 'black hole brew' and forgot what year it was for a full hour. but the cuisine is basically muggle...just hexed.
❛❛ do the meals cater to dietary restrictions?
100%. vegans, vegetarians, allergy-havers. you’re covered. a muggleborn slytherin from third year complained about the lack of plant-based options, and the next morning, an entire section of the breakfast table was dedicated to oat milk, tofu scramble, and wizarding equivalents of nutritional yeast. hogwarts may be stuck in some medieval ways, but food evolves.
❛❛ what happens if you miss a meal?
if you’re lucky, a friend grabs you something before the food vanishes. if you’re unlucky, you’re breaking into the kitchens like a desperate raccoon. the house-elves don’t mind, though, if you’re polite, they’ll feed you like a long-lost child. if you’re rude, they’ll 'accidentally' give you a soup that turns your tongue blue for a week.
 ❛❛ is there coffee?
yes, but it’s wizard coffee. stronger than espresso, borderline narcotic. one cup and you’re writing your entire transfiguration essay in ten minutes. two cups and you can see through time.
❛❛ how do holiday feasts work?
absolute carnage. christmas and halloween feasts are legendary. enchanted decorations, endless courses, puddings that explode into confetti when you cut into them. the easter feast is basically a chocolate overdose. sometimes on valentine’s day the desserts start murmuring love poetry. dumbledore's delighted. everyone..... horrified.
❛❛ is there a limit to how much you can eat?
only in the sense that your body is a fragile, mortal thing. the food itself is infinite. the house-elves could, in theory, keep producing it indefinitely. but, you know, you eat four servings of steak-and-kidney pie and you’re just going to be that person in the common room later.
❛❛ do different houses have different food preferences?
subtly, yes. the great hall offers everything, but certain tables lean into certain dishes. gryffindors love big, hearty, comforting food. ravenclaws lean into the more intricate, delicate meals, think pastries and complex soups. slytherins have an eye for the finer things, often going for the more gourmet options. hufflepuffs love food that feels like a hug: freshly baked bread, warm pies, things that remind you of home.
 ❛❛ are there midnight snacks?
not officially, but yes. common rooms have snack stashes. and if you’re clever (or just have the marauder’s map, wink wink), you can always sneak down to the kitchens. the house-elves will feed you, no questions asked. some students take it a step further and befriend the house-elves outright. those students never go hungry.
❛❛ how does the food appear? is it just magic or is there a system?
magic, but with logistics. the food is prepared in the kitchens directly beneath the great hall, then it’s levitated up and appears on the tables at the precise moment it’s ready. no waiting, no serving, just instant gratification. it’s dangerously efficient.
❛❛ how does hogwarts source its food? is it all local, or do they magically import things?
combination of both. they have magical greenhouses and farms for most fresh ingredients, but certain things, exotic spices, imported sweets, get brought in magically.
❛❛ are there ever surprise meals? do the house elves ever just decide to switch things up randomly?
sometimes, if there’s an occasion or they just feel like it. but the menu is largely set because consistency is part of the magic.
❛❛ are meals ever used as punishment? do detention students get different food or are they made to help the house elves prepare meals?
not officially, but some professors (like astronomy) have been known to send students to do menial kitchen work as a form of discipline. nothing cruel, just hours of potato peeling.
❛❛ has there ever been a kitchen-related disaster? a spell gone wrong, a cauldron explosion, a food fight?
yes, frequently !!!! misfired enlarging spells, self-chopping vegetables getting too enthusiastic, enchanted ladles starting fights. house elves keep it under control, but it’s not unheard of for a whole batch of treacle tart to suddenly gain sentience and try to unionise.

🐙AZUL🐙 Sleeps with a Weighted Blanket-It helps with the stress. He’ll never admit it, though.
Overthinks Online Messages-Takes forever to respond because he types out a full essay, deletes it, rewrites it, and then decides to wait five more hours before sending “ok.”
Hates Math But Is Good at It-He despises numbers but can calculate a 25% discount in under two seconds. Capitalism wins again.
Dramatic Coat Flips-Every time he turns, he does that dramatic anime coat swoosh. He does it so much that Jade and Floyd have bets on how many times per day he’ll do it.
Spotify Wrapped? Embarrassing.- His music taste is either the most refined classical pieces or nightcore remixes of 2000s emo songs. There is no in-between.
Owns an Embarrassing Childhood Nickname-No one knows what it is… except the twins. And they use it strategically.

Ferran surprising mum!reader with a fancy date night because she’s been really drained looking after their newborn son?

break
pairing: ferran torres x reader
summary: in which you and ferran take a much needed break
warnings: none!
a/n: had to write this bc ferran’s looking extra fine today 🤭💗
tagged: @barcapix, @universefcb, @joaosnovia, @nngkay, lmk if you want to be added to the taglist!
it had been a few weeks since you’d given birth to your beautiful baby boy, mateo. the little one was perfect, his tiny hands gripping yours with a fierceness that made your heart swell every time you held him. but as much as you loved being a new mom, you had to admit—being mateo’s full-time caretaker had left you absolutely exhausted. the sleepless nights, the constant feedings, the never-ending cycle of diaper changes and soothing cries—everything had blurred into one long, tiring stretch of time.
your mornings began at dawn, and more often than not, they ended long after sunset. ferran, your loving partner, had been doing everything he could to help, but you saw how much he had to juggle with his football career and travel schedules. it was hard to ask for more when he was already doing his best, but there were moments you felt like you were drowning in the responsibilities.
tonight, however, you didn’t have to worry. ferran had insisted that you take a break, that you get some rest, even if just for a few hours. and it wasn’t just talk—he’d gone so far as to arrange something special. you just didn’t know what yet.
it was the first time in weeks you felt even the slightest bit of relief. as you prepared for the night, you tried to gather the little energy you had left. ferran had mentioned something about “getting you ready for the night,” but you hadn’t had the energy to ask more. the thought of getting out of the house without mateo was a strange feeling—both liberating and somewhat unsettling.
you heard ferran in the living room, his voice low as he spoke to someone. your curiosity piqued, you adjusted your messy ponytail and walked toward the sounds.
“no te preocupes, pedri,” ferran was saying. “everything’s set up. just keep him entertained for a couple of hours, and we’ll be back by midnight. if there’s anything—anything—just give me a call, okay?”
pedri, who had become a good friend of both yours and ferran’s, gave a cheerful reply, though you could only hear the faint rustle of movement. “you know i’ve got it covered. he’ll be fine with me. besides, he’s adorable. how much trouble can he be?”
ferran laughed softly. “exactly. just don’t spoil him too much, ¿vale?”
you peeked around the corner and smiled softly at the sight of ferran. he was standing in the middle of the living room, his phone pressed to his ear, his casual yet stylish outfit a sharp contrast to the worn-out pajamas you’d been living in the last few days. his gaze flicked to you, and he smiled warmly.
“hola, princesa,” ferran said with a smile, his voice warm and full of affection as he walked toward you, hanging up the phone. “you look so beautiful, even with that tired look in your eyes.”
you rolled your eyes but couldn’t help the soft smile that tugged at your lips. “you always say that, even when i look like a zombie.”
he grinned, stepping closer and wrapping his arms around your waist. “because it’s true, my love. you’re still my beautiful princesa.”
you leaned into him, your eyes closing for a moment. “exhausted, but i’m okay,” you muttered.
“you’ve been amazing, though,” ferran said softly, pulling back slightly to look at you. “but tonight? tonight is for you.”
you raised an eyebrow, curiosity stirring. “what do you mean?”
“come on,” ferran said, his voice a mix of mischief and tenderness. “i’ve planned something special, just for you. a surprise. and pedri’s on baby duty for the night, so you don’t have to worry about mateo.”
“pedri?” you asked, blinking in surprise. “he’s babysitting? but… you know he’s never done this before.”
“he promised he could handle it,” ferran grinned. “besides, i trust him. and it’ll give you the chance to relax and recharge a bit. trust me, everything’s under control.”
you hesitated for a moment, glancing toward the nursery door where mateo was sleeping soundly. the thought of leaving him behind, even for a couple of hours, felt foreign. but ferran was right. you needed a break. you couldn’t pour from an empty cup. and honestly, you were craving a chance to just… breathe.
“okay, i’ll do it,” you said with a sigh, a soft smile pulling at your lips. “but if mateo needs anything, you’re not getting out of it. i’ll come home and drag you back to help.”
ferran laughed, pulling you in for another quick kiss on your forehead. “deal. now, let’s get you ready, preciosa.”
“okay, princesa,” ferran said, his voice low and full of affection as he helped you pull on a soft, flowing dress you hadn’t worn in what felt like ages. the simple yet elegant piece made you feel a little more like yourself, something that was a rare feeling these days. “you look amazing.”
you looked at yourself in the mirror and smiled softly. it felt good to wear something other than sweatpants and your old maternity clothes. still, your tired eyes betrayed how exhausted you were.
“are you sure you’re okay with pedri watching mateo?” you asked, feeling a little uneasy. “he’s never babysat before. what if he gets overwhelmed?”
ferran reached over, brushing a stray lock of hair from your face, his touch gentle. “don’t worry, mi amor. pedri’s a natural with kids. i’m sure mateo will be in good hands. he’ll spoil him rotten, but it’ll be fine.”
you couldn’t help but chuckle. “i bet he’ll be the one getting spoiled, not mateo. have you seen how pedri acts with him?”
ferran smiled, a soft laugh escaping him. “yeah, i know. i can’t even look at pedri without him pulling out all the stops for our little guy. but you deserve this break.”
you turned toward him, pulling him into a quick hug. “thank you, ferran. really.”
“anything for you, princesa,” he said, his lips brushing against your forehead. “now, let’s get you out of here before you change your mind.”
as you stepped out of the bedroom, ferran took your hand, leading you toward the door. he was dressed casually but with that same effortless charm—jeans, a fitted shirt, and a jacket that somehow made him look both laid-back and stylish. the kind of look that made heads turn. he was the perfect mix of athleticism and handsome elegance.
“so, where are we going?” you asked, feeling a flutter of excitement in your chest. “and don’t tell me it’s a surprise to the surprise.”
ferran grinned, shaking his head. “you’ll see. but first, we need to make a stop.”
he guided you to the car, where a sleek black vehicle was parked outside, its engine already humming softly. ferran opened the door for you, helping you inside with a playful bow. “your chariot awaits, princesa.”
you couldn’t help but laugh. “you’re so extra, but i love it.”
as ferran got into the driver’s seat and pulled away from the house, you allowed yourself to relax a little. the drive was peaceful, with the city lights of barcelona casting a soft glow against the darkening sky. for the first time in a long time, you felt like you could just breathe.
“it’s nice to have a night out,” you said, gazing out the window. “it’s been so long since we’ve done anything like this.”
ferran glanced over at you, his expression softening. “i know, princesa. but i’ve been wanting to do this for a while. i want to remind you how much you mean to me, how much i appreciate everything you do.”
you smiled, your heart swelling with affection. “you’re already so good to me. i don’t need fancy surprises.”
“but you deserve them,” he replied, giving your hand a quick squeeze. “i just want you to feel special, even if it’s only for tonight.”
you let the silence settle between you as ferran navigated through the city, eventually turning onto a quieter road. your curiosity grew, and your thoughts drifted back to mateo. though he was in good hands with pedri, part of you still felt that protective instinct—the need to be close to him.
ferran must’ve sensed the slight shift in your mood because he gently squeezed your hand again. “mateo’s doing fine, mi amor. don’t worry. we’ll be back soon, and everything will be perfect.”
“you’re right,” you said, taking a deep breath and trying to push away the worry. “it’s just hard. i didn’t think i’d feel this way, but i miss him already.”
he nodded, his eyes briefly meeting yours before returning to the road. “it’s natural, sweetheart. i promise, pedri is more than capable. you deserve this break, and mateo deserves to know he has a strong, loving mama. you’ve been working hard. tonight is for you.”
before you could respond, ferran turned into a small, cozy street lined with dimly lit cafés and restaurants. you hadn’t been here before, but it had that quaint, intimate vibe that made your heart skip a beat. he parked the car in front of a beautifully lit building—a small restaurant with a private terrace.
“this place?” you asked, eyes wide. “it looks amazing.”
ferran smiled, getting out of the car and walking around to open your door. “i’m glad you like it. i thought you’d appreciate a quieter spot. a place that’s just about us.”
you took his hand, letting him lead you up to the entrance. the hostess greeted you both with a warm smile, guiding you to a private table on the terrace that overlooked the city. the table was set for two, with candles flickering gently in the cool evening air. it was simple but perfect, just the kind of ambiance you craved.
“this is beautiful, ferran,” you said, looking around, taking it all in. the soft glow of the candles, the delicate sound of the wind, and the quiet chatter of people in the distance. it felt intimate, like the world outside had stopped for just the two of you.
“anything for you, mi vida,” ferran said, his voice sincere. he helped you settle into your seat before sitting across from you. “it’s been too long since we’ve had a quiet dinner. i wanted tonight to be special, just for us.”
you smiled softly, feeling your exhaustion begin to fade with the peaceful atmosphere. as the waiter came to take your drink order, ferran leaned across the table, his eyes warm with affection.
“te quiero mucho, princesa,” he whispered, his voice just for you.
“te quiero mucho, ferran,” you whispered back, your heart full.
when you and ferran arrived home, the house was quiet, the kind of silence only a peacefully sleeping baby could bring. ferran parked the car and turned off the engine, glancing over at you with a soft smile.
“ready to see how our little one’s doing?” he asked, his voice gentle.
you nodded, already feeling the pull toward the nursery. “i just hope pedri didn’t spoil him too much.”
ferran chuckled. “well, if mateo’s learned how to ask for snacks already, we’ll know who to blame.”
you laughed softly, making your way down the hallway with him. as you reached the nursery door, you peeked inside and saw pedri sitting in the rocking chair, softly humming a tune as he rocked back and forth. mateo was nestled comfortably in his arms, fast asleep, his tiny hand curled up in a gentle fist.
pedri looked up when you entered, his face breaking into a big grin. “they’re back! and i swear, i didn’t spoil him too much,” he said, his voice warm and teasing.
you smiled and stepped inside, walking over to where he sat. “how’s my little guy?”
“he’s been perfect,” pedri said, his eyes soft as he glanced down at mateo, who was still peacefully asleep. “i may have sung him a little lullaby… and gave him a tiny extra bottle… but other than that, we’ve just been bonding.”
ferran raised an eyebrow. “a tiny extra bottle?”
pedri shrugged innocently, though the mischievous glint in his eyes gave him away. “what can i say? i’m just making sure he’s well-fed. can’t have him going to bed hungry, right?”
you couldn’t help but laugh. “pedri, we’re not raising a baby-sized football player here. you’re supposed to teach him good habits, not how to get extra snacks out of people.”
“hey, i’m just preparing him for the real world,” pedri shot back with a grin. “the kid’s gotta know how to get what he wants. i’m just giving him a head start.”
you shook your head, but it was impossible not to smile at how much pedri seemed to enjoy this whole babysitting thing. “he’s going to be the most spoiled baby on the block if you keep this up.”
“that’s the goal,” pedri teased, standing up slowly as ferran carefully took mateo from his arms. “anyway, i think it’s safe to say i’ve earned a medal for this, don’t you think?”
ferran laughed as he cradled mateo against his chest. “we’ll get you a gold star next time, pedri. but maybe no more midnight feedings, alright?”
pedri gave a mock gasp. “what?! no more late-night bottle duty? i was just getting into the swing of things!” he joked, his hands dramatically pressed to his chest.
“i think he’s going to be fine without the extra milk,” you said with a soft laugh. “but thank you, pedri. you’ve been great with him.”
pedri smiled warmly. “it’s honestly been an honor. he’s such a good baby. he barely fusses. i’d babysit him again anytime.”
ferran smiled, his gaze soft as he looked down at mateo. “we really appreciate it. you didn’t have to do this, but it means a lot.”
“yeah, it’s like we’ve got our own personal superhero,” you added with a grin. “minus the cape.”
pedri chuckled, crossing his arms and looking down at mateo with a fond smile. “you know, i might be onto something here… i could start a side business. super babysitter pedri, at your service. i’m just saying, i’m really good at this.”
you couldn’t hold back your smile. “you’re too much, pedri.”
ferran shook his head, laughing softly. “yeah, you might be too good at this.”
pedri turned toward the door with a wink. “well, if you ever need a break, i’m your guy. just call me. i promise i won’t feed him too much.”
you both walked to the door as pedri left, giving you one last wave. “i’ll be on standby. you two enjoy the night, alright? don’t let him get too spoiled.”
“we’ll try,” ferran said, a grin tugging at his lips as he closed the door behind him.
as the two of you turned back toward the nursery, ferran gently rocked mateo in his arms. you stepped closer, resting your head against his shoulder as he looked down at your son, a soft smile on his face.
“he’s lucky to have so many people who love him,” you murmured, watching how tenderly ferran held mateo.
“we’re the lucky ones,” ferran whispered, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. “i can’t imagine my life without you two.”
you smiled, your heart swelling as you thought about your little family. “me neither.”
the three of you sat there together, in the calm and warmth of your home, knowing that no matter what the future brought, you would always have each other.
don’t forget to leave a request!

I feel like I should give context for what has been happening lately.
Nothing good, to put it short. Since I published the fic for the giveaway winner I have been having the worst time. Everything just kept going worse and worse. I lost my drive, my inspiration and the will to go on writing. It got that bad.
Due to this I rearranged my schedule. I cancelled any commissions I have taken and decided to stop taking them. I declined almost all previous arrangements for art trades except for one. I feel like I couldn't write for people, not anymore.
But the inspiration didn't come back until literally just couple days ago. I feel like it's still fragile, I'm also dealing with bad health/migraines and as always - very tantrum-prone adhd.
So as of this moment, I am still trying to get back into things. I'm working on a project that really helped me find inspiration again and I finally am finding my drive again.
So for those who are here for my long-fics, let's say for the time being they are on hiatus. I know I have made promises before and I had a full intention of fulfilling them. I'm trying not to feel like a failure for not keeping them, but I have to preserve my mental health instead of pushing myself. Otherwise I will kill my own creativity.
For those who I refused - I apologize. To those who wait for me to update - please be patient. I don't want to make promises anymore, I clearly can't function like this any longer.
However, if you want to talk to me about my ongoing works or anything in between - feel free. Just because I'm trying to arrange my hobby and find a healthy way to continue my craft, that doesn't mean that I don't love the works I have, even if right now I'm focusing on immediate dopamine giving project <33

when you had nothing to say
CHAPTER 3
uhhh if this is the first one you see it's a fic in which the world where the evolutionists all started on descended into war. after fighting in the war for several years, they fled to evo together. this fic is a 5+1 about 5 times that someone found out Jimmy was Deaf and 1 time he was accommodated :)
cw: internalized ableism
~
Jimmy wakes up in bed, gasping for stolen breath.
He’s still shaking from that death, his heart beating too fast. How had that—he’d thought it would be safe to touch, he hadn’t thought—
He checks his communicator.
Ren and Skizz down, too.
How much of an idiot—?
Jimmy messages an apology into chat, tries to shake off the feeling of exploding. It’s one of his least favorite ways to die, getting blown into bits all over the place. Even on worlds like these, where they respawn. He hates tnt.
Jimmy sits on his bed for too long, probably, just trying to catch his breath after such an intense end. He didn’t like that. Holy moly, he didn’t like that at all.
Get up, he tells himself. Come on, get up, go do something.
He doesn’t.
It’s too overwhelming, is all. He’s fine, he’s fine, he just needs a minute to sort himself out before he can bear to leave this room. He needs a minute to gather his thoughts, blown apart by the explosion just like his body—
A minute grows into two, into three, into. . . .
He isn’t sure how long he sits there, but soon enough, his door opens, and Scott, Grian, and Scar file in.
Jimmy straightens, trying to look like he hadn’t just been staring into space, limbs trembling and mind flashing through with memories. They don’t seem to notice, judging by the lack of anything but gleeful pity on their faces. Good.
Grian’s mouth moves, his voice muffled and near-silent. Jimmy frowns—he hadn’t even realized his hearing aids weren’t on. He clicks on the power on the left piece, then the right—but the right one pops painfully and he hisses, turning it back off.
He takes it out, turns it this way and that. It looks okay—he turns it on in his hand and it sparks once, but otherwise seems fine.
Jimmy carefully fits the hearing aid back in his ear, then looks up. All three of his friends are watching him, and Grian raises his eyebrows.
“All good?” he asks, but Jimmy doesn’t hear it.
He clicks off the left one again, panic sprouting in his chest. They can’t be broken. They can’t, they just can’t, he can’t afford another pair—
Turning the left one back on doesn’t do anything, though. Turning off and on the right one doesn’t do anything but make it spark again.
“My hearing aids are broken,” he manages, his throat tightening. “I—I don’t have spares. The explosion—”
This can’t be happening. This can’t be happening! He’s been exploded loads of times, why did this one break his hearing aids?
Grian’s shoulders slump; Scott won’t stop staring at his ears. Grian takes his communicator out of his pocket, types out a message. A moment later, Jimmy’s own communicator vibrates on his hip.
Sorry, I don’t remember any sign. Do you need to drop out of the game?
“I can keep playing,” he says, swallowing around the lump in his throat. “I’ve been deaf for a long time, I—I know how to deal with it. I just . . . being able to hear is helpful.”
Grian fixes him with a sympathetic expression. Scar wheels himself over, squeezes Jimmy’s hand.
“You’ve got this,” he says. “All you . . . okay?”
“I missed most of that.”
Scar just squeezes his hand again.
When Grian and Scar leave, Grian with promises to help pay for a new pair, Scott comes over to Jimmy’s bed and sits beside him, typing out a message on his communicator.
I didn’t know that you’re deaf.
“I don’t really hide it,” says Jimmy. “I don’t go around shouting about it, but it isn’t a secret.”
Why didn’t you tell me?
Absentmindedly, to help gather his thoughts in a quiet world, Jimmy starts to sign as he speaks. “Never came up, I guess. I just assume people already know—but now that I think about it—”
He considers it for a moment.
“Um, now you know,” he counts off his fingers. “Grian, Scar, Martyn, BigB. I think that’s it, though.”
Had he really told so few people?
It isn’t quite the truth, really, that it never came up. There were plenty of opportunities over the past weeks to talk about his hearing loss, to explain why sometimes he asked Scott to repeat himself multiple times, or why he usually didn’t hear calls of his name.
He avoided it, though, even if he didn’t have a real reason to. Did he need a reason to not give others a weakness to exploit? Did he need a reason to let others know this truly vulnerable part of himself?
It explains your lisp.
“I have a lisp?” Jimmy exclaims. Grian had always told him he was perfectly understandable, and Martyn didn’t say anything, and nobody else has ever seemed to realize that he was deaf.
It’s not bad, you just kind of over-do the s sound.
He never even knew. That’s so—that’s so weird! He’s had a lisp, apparently, and no one told him.
“That’s so weird,” he says, fidgeting a bit with the torn hem of his shirt. “But—erm, I’ll probably be a pretty useless ally, now. Sorry, you’re on your own.”
He doesn’t want to leave. He doesn’t want to be alone in this, when he can’t hear a thing in a world full of hearing people. It’s lonely, so dreadfully lonely, and it always has been. He doesn’t want to go back to that. He never wanted to.
He refuses to drag Scott down any more than he already has, though.
“You can use my house as storage, or something,” Jimmy says, though he still can’t quite find it within himself to get up. “I’ll be out of here by the end of the day.”
Maybe Scar and Grian will take him in? To use as bait, if nothing else. Grian knows how to be a good friend, anyhow—he’s been in circles where people just have no clue how to treat a Deaf person and just end up ignoring them. Grian’s heard Jimmy rant about far too many times to let it happen. Otherwise, he’d prefer being on his own.
Scott taps him on the arm, and Jimmy pulls himself out of his thoughts of the desert and isolation to look at his communicator, held in front of his face.
What are you talking about?
Jimmy doesn’t have an answer for that. He thought it was pretty clear.
He shrugs. Scott types something else out.
You’re staying. You’re my flower husband, I’m not just going to leave you.
Oh.
Jimmy doesn’t expect help. He doesn’t expect that everyone should be forced to work to make things easier for him, when it’s already fine for everybody else. They shouldn’t have to make exceptions just for him.
But Scott . . . Scott doesn’t care?
Scott’s already sitting beside Jimmy, but now he wraps his arm around him, presses gently on his shoulder until Jimmy lets his head fall onto Scott’s chest. It’s—it’s—
It’s warm, is what it is. Warm, and a little bit gritty with dirt but soft, and Scott smells like sweat and gunpowder and flowers, and his chest is vibrating under Jimmy’s temple as he speaks, and Jimmy. . . .
It’s really nice after the shellshock of the explosion, is all. Jimmy doesn’t think he can be blamed when a tear slips from the corner of his eye.
Scott lets him sit there as long as he likes, and it’s just really nice. He finds stability, he thinks, so that his weakest parts can stitch themselves together again after the disaster of today.
Geez, he can’t believe he died twice. . . .
“Guess we’d better get to work,” Jimmy finally says, after what is definitely way too much time of hugging Scott. “Erm, I can lip read all right? But I need you right in front of me and talking loudly. Otherwise, you can just message me.”
Scott lets Jimmy sit up, then helps him to stand, taking his hands in his own. Looking Jimmy square in the face, he speaks, loud enough that Jimmy can match some of the quiet sounds to the movements of his mouth.
“We’ve got this.”
Jimmy tries (and fails) to suppress his smile. “Yeah, we do,” he agrees. “We’ve got this.”

mm. Fear
#ramblings of a lunatic#got pointed towards a freelance job opportunity by a friend (thanks bestie ily 🤟) and hit up the asker w an email abt further discussion#since the og email was kind of vague (its a comic project! idk abt what but it is one! idk when/if there's a deadline! but it's a comic!)#and that meetings been arranged and thats all peachy keen#and if i get the job i get it and if i don't i dont#(they liked my samples despite them being old work so i definitely have that part down- now it's just seeing if the schedules align)#but as i was sitting down writing important questions I'd need to ask when we meet i was hit with a wave of. fear#and guilt?#like. It's been so long since I've made a Proper Comic (w/ the correct formatting and attention to layout and composition n stuff)#that I'm scared I'll like. forget how to comic and fuck it up. and disappoint this stranger I don't know#...and myself but that's besides the point#idk i think it's just jitters (also bc i had a bad ipad drawing day the device was NOT agreeing with me. paper was ok tho)#and I don't even have the job yet 😭 idk why I'm so nervous#maybe bc I've never had a paid illustration gig and i feel like such a fraud bc I'm a solid 6/10 self taught artist#i feel like rob liefeld bamboozling marvel into hiring him in the 90s and then Rob Liefeld-ing all over the place#(I don't think he actually bamboozled anyone. that's just how I feel rn)#in conclusion i think being on my period has not helped my feelings of mild trepidation and has in fact made me think dark thoughts#so I'm going to try and claim some semblance of rest now

#𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐔: “show me you’re shameless, write it on my neck, why don’t ya?”
cw. married!gojo satoru x female reader. smut, angst to comfort. cheating/infidelity. unprotected. crēampie. bréeding themes. soft angsty-ish sèx. petnames ‘baby, sweetheart, wifey’ not proofread !
Tumblr media Tumblr media
satoru has never loved the woman he married. he’s never felt an ounce of attraction or affection towards her. it’s hard to be around someone who he’s supposed to love and cherish, when all he can think about is you.
it’s you he was supposed to end up with if it wasn’t for his damned clan. setting up an arranged marriage behind his back and only telling him last minute of their plans— a bunch of assholes they are.
satoru could’ve declined, disagreed, ran away. he had all the power to, but he had fully convinced himself that his actual soulmate - you - would never return his love, which is why he settled.
. . . he was proven wrong after it was already too late.
“i love you s’much,” satoru grits his teeth as he nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck, his sweat trickling down his forehead. his hips move in a gentle rhythm, as tender as his arms are holding you. he never treated you roughly.
satoru wouldn’t do that to the love of his life. the one who he’s supposed to call his wife, his beloved. he’ll find a way to achieve his dreams. he’ll do anything to end up with you and escape this messed up arrangement.
but for now, he’ll love you like this. every day, behind the other woman’s back, for as long as he can.
“i love you too, ‘toru,” you sigh, tilting your head to give the white-haired man access to your neck. his tongue wets your sensitive skin before sucking on it. he’s claiming you as his— like he usually does whenever he manages to get ahold of you.
“say that again,” satoru whimpers against your throat whilst leaving soft kisses all over. the sounds of your bodies meeting bounces off the walls, the lewd noise of flesh hitting flesh is a melody that you both enjoy behind closed doors.
“please,” satoru pleads. you’re surprised by the vulnerability in his tone. he holds onto you - ruts into you - like he’s never experienced this before. his cock twitches and throbs within you, desperate to reach that aching release.
you swallow the lump in your throat. you feel bad doing this right on the bed that satoru shares with his wife, but you also couldn’t care less. “i love you, satoru, i really do,” you moan near his ear.
the sorcerer shivers at your pretty voice uttering those three words to him. his big hands hold onto your waist, fingers digging into your skin, leaving small dents. his breath hitches, “oh, fuck. y’do, huh?”
satoru curses as he lifts his head from your neck. the view of you beneath him while you take his dick all the way inside your sopping cunt is addicting. it’s also way too slippery because of the mixture of cum on your lower body and the sheets.
“ah,” you look down at the place your bodies meet the second you feel his cock slip out of your pussy. you reach a hand down and guide his tip back to your folds without much thought.
it’s a sight that makes satoru nearly bust a nut right then and there. “missin’ me already?” he tilts his head, that boyish smile on his lips reappearing again. his soaked, white bangs cover his ethereal eyes a little, yet you can still notice the playfulness in them.
“yeah, i do,” you sigh, whining a little as his cock slowly fills you up all the way again, “i always miss you, ‘toru.” you never fail to feel so full whenever you’re intimate with him— he’s big and knows just how to use that to his advantage.
satoru pouts at your words. he knows what you’re indirectly referring to amidst all the physical pleasure. he tries to make as much time for you as he can, without raising suspicion. though sometimes he fails to see you for days. balancing his work schedule, along with his many other duties and his private life was a hassle.
it’s frustrating when satoru is leading a double life, for both you and him. there’s nothing more in this world that he wants than to have you beside him forever. as his wife, not his secret lover.
one day, soon— he promises silently to himself and to you with a kiss.
“i’m sorry,” he breathes out, his thrusts resuming. two of his rough fingers roll your nipple between them, his tongue following to circle the sensitive bud while he drives his dick in and out of you repeatedly. “but i’m all yours tonight, yeah? only yours.”
you nod mindlessly. you trust satoru, he’ll figure this all out. for now, you’ll enjoy every single second you’re able to spend with him.
“mhm,” you hum before your eyes focus on his neck. you know he’s told you not to leave any marks on him, but tonight, you’re feeling shameless. your hand on the back of his head pushes him down until your lips touch his neck.
satoru’s eyes widen at your unexpected action. he can’t deny you anything, even if this is a risky thing to do. he moans when you suck and bite on his skin. you’re leaving hickeys he will have to hide from his wife.
“naughty fuckin’ girl,” he tries to groan, though it comes out as a choked up whimper instead. he bites his lip and his eyes nearly roll back when your legs wrap around his waist, all whilst you’re leaving those dark marks on his neck.
you softly giggle at your own bold move. satoru however, seems to enjoy this more than he thought he would. he allows you access to his neck while he focuses on his set pace.
“y’ just want me to get caught, hm?” the white-haired man clicks his tongue, his balls slapping against your ass, your juices sticking to his skin which makes the sounds of his thrusts even louder. lewder. satoru huffs, “want that woman to know jus’ how well i fuck you, sweetheart?”
you feel your body heat up, the knot in your lower tummy tightening. his increased dirty talk only could mean one thing; he’s close. and so are you. the pleasure of having satoru inches deep in your cunt after not seeing him for two whole days, is driving you insane.
“yes, fuck— yes,” you hiccup, feeling absolutely no shame at this moment. you don’t care how loud you’re getting, if satoru’s neighbours were to hear him have sex with a woman that’s not his wife.
the man himself doesn’t even seem to mind it either. not when he’s this close. he pants before pressing soft kisses against your forehead. the lingering feeling of your lips against his neck remind him of the hickeys you’ve left.
satoru moans against your hot skin. his dick twitches, his balls tighten and his arms wrap around you to cradle you against his bare chest. he’s going to fill you with his hot cum like you deserve. you deserve every single drop and he wouldn’t give it to anyone else but you.
“shit, g’nna cum,” satoru warns after a small whine leaves his throat, “take it, baby. don’t waste a drop, wanna breed you full.” his thrusts turn a bit erratic, body pinning yours to the mattress so you have nowhere to run. all you can do is lay there and take it— take his cum while you reach your own climax.
white dots appear in his vision as satoru releases rope after rope of hot, sticky cum inside of you. his hips are pressed tightly against yours— leaving no chance for his seed to trickle out of you.
the satisfaction that fills satoru’s chest is like no other. a small grin tugs at the corners of his lips as he leans his body weight on top of you slightly, catching his breath. your trembling frame rests beneath him while you’re trying to regain composure as well.
“there y’ go, atta girl,” satoru coos and kisses your forehead. he treats you so well, even after sex. he treats you like you’re his true wife. which you should be.
he rubs your sides with his hands to calm you down. his own breath is still shake as he looks down at you with a grin. a wicked idea pops up in his head once he sees the thick trail of cum that’s left on your slit after he pulls out.
“y’know how i told ya that i’ll make y’ my wife one day?” satoru hums, eyes focused on both your face and cum-covered pussy. he has told you before that he will find a way to officially make you his.
and he finally just realised the perfect way to do it.
“mhm,” you nod with a dazed look in your eyes. you wrap your arms around satoru’s shoulders and hug him, nuzzling your face into the crook of his neck. you can practically feel the smirk on his lips as his breath ghosts over your ear.
his hand travels down to your tummy, fingers splayed over the soft flesh; “good, ‘cause y’re gonna need to play the part for me already. gonna fill you up ‘til you’re nice and swollen with my kids, wifey.”

I worked retail for a long time and people really do treat you like shit sometimes. But between selling sex toys, mattresses, and jewelry I can say definitively I got treated worst selling mattresses.
All three of my jobs were in sales but selling sex toys we were allowed to put people in their place, and in jewelry people didn’t want to misbehave in a fancy setting. But people at the mattress store had no problem yelling at me, hitting on me, or insulting me to my face.
For a while I was managing my own store for the company. I ran a small location and had struggling employees placed with me for rehabilitation. If their numbers improved they could go back to bigger stores. If not, they got fired.
So this meant I was the manager of problem employees. At one point both of my people had a foot out the door. The company was going downhill and changed computer systems and they were fed up. Consequently, they made a ton of mistakes, because they just didn’t care about the job or learning the new systems.
I strolled into work on what was essentially my Monday to a shit show. Deliveries scheduled without product, wrong things on orders, poor expectations of the process, you name it. I spent the entire morning getting yelled at for mistakes that weren’t mine.
The final straw came when a man called furious that his moms bed for her nursing home had a delivery window he couldn’t accommodate. This wasn’t a huge disaster since we still had time to deliver it before she moved. I ran him through the options and he just kept screaming at me. Not for a solution but because I was there and he was frustrated.
My heart filled with malice and a cold fury. A calculating part of my brain had a realization in that moment that I could stay a punching bag or I could strike back.
I quavered my voice delicately, taking in a shaky, warbling breath like I was trying not to cry. “Sir,” I quivered through fake tears, “I don’t know what you want from me! I told you what I can do, I didn’t make this mistake I’m just trying to fix it!” My voice broke pitifully on the last syllables, sounding in all ways like a sweet innocent person being yelled at who’s just trying her best, really!
It was like I’d doused him with cold water. My emotional act was the realization that he was screaming at someone who was just doing their damn job, and he was being an asshole. He hastily made an excuse and hung up.
I had a third employee covering with me from another store that day who heard everything. When I hung up, I looked over to see them watching me with an awed expression. “Did… did you just pretend to cry?”
“I absolutely fucking did,” I said with feeling, “and I’d do it a thousand more times. If that’s what it takes for someone to realize they’re behaving like a fucking prick, they deserve it.” The employee looked at me like I was their hero.
The man called back, apologizing profusely, having magically arranged his schedule to accommodate delivery. He came in later that week with an apology Starbucks gift card. I was gracious in my acceptance.
I pulled it a few more times before leaving the company. I felt no shame in the ruse. If someone behaves so poorly that it’s plausible their behavior would drive someone to tears they deserve to feel absolutely wretched about it.

“Are You Jealous?”
Don’t we all love a beautiful jealous man? I like them a little pathetic🤭 (Not too pathetic though 🤨)
Tumblr media
Zayne
*Zayne coming home to MC after a long shift*
MC: How’d the surgery go?
Zayne: Everything went according to plan

*Tosses them out with his Evol and slams the door*
MC: That was so rude
Sylus: You’re spending the night with me turn the movie on
*Sylus arranges himself against one of the giant pillows and drapes a blanket over his lap*
MC: Are you jealous of your own men?
Sylus: No …. I simply want to watch a movie with you
MC: Sure

Satoru Gojo who thinks you're only with him for the money.
He's pretty insufferable, after all. And a shitty boyfriend to boot - always bailing on dates, showing up at weird times, telling you vague stories about his work that don't make sense.
Honestly he's surprised you've stuck around this long.
That you still read every message he spams you when he's bored and lonely fighting special grade curses.
(after all, he always has to go on those missions alone. there's no one who can go with him.)
You still text him back. Open the door to let him in. Smile when you see him, like it's the very first time and he can tell you're just so star-struck by his eyes as he tugs down his blindfold with a grin, "Do I look blind to you?" "Blindingly handsome!"
He'd laughed at that. You're shocked by his appearance, but you're earnest, and so obviously smitten, and he loves a woman with a little humor.
Satoru Gojo who didn't expect you to text him back after the first night, but you did.
cutie pie: omg, those look so good! what flavor? satoru: my favorite, the edamame and cream~ cutie pie: bring some for me next time you visit <3 i'll feed them to you ;)
On a lesser man, that might have sounded presumptuous. To Satoru, it's the perfect come-on. Casual, flirty, and easy to do - all the makings of a great hookup.
He hadn't expected to spend half the night on his knees like a dog, licking at your fingers. Watering over a thumb pressed down against his tongue while you drooled your mochi-sweet saliva straight into his open mouth.
Unexpected, but amazing! Satoru knew then that you were going to be a treat worth savoring.
It was just a shame that he could only enjoy you for one night.
Not even that much, really. He'd been called away in bed; one arm wrapped around your darling naked form, holding you pressed against him.
Left while you were asleep without a word. He'd texted you on the way, a blase little "sowwyyyyy smth came up! u were gr8 last night." and no real expectations of a return.
If you were (reasonably) upset with him, he'd block you - his one act of kindness to a woman he couldn't treat right.
Instead he gets "thanks! you weren't so bad yourself haha" and your enthusiasm is obviously a bit defused, but he can work with this.
He lays it out to you, next chance he gets. Tries to text you often enough to make sure you don't think he's ghosted you.
"I know this might sound like the kind of thing married men say," He says with a big, sardonic smile, "But I have a very demanding job. I don't have time for a relationship. And for personal reasons, I can't agree to be exclusive, either."
There's a look you give him that makes him wonder what exactly you think of his job. Satoru vaguely wonders if you think he's a sex worker.
He hopes you try to find him on porn websites later. Maybe he should film himself jerking off real quick sometime so you can watch it.
"That makes sense," Is what you say, instead of any of the ridiculous thinks he'd imagined.
You don't seem thrilled about it, but you don't look immeasurably disappointed, either. You're a smart girl. You'd probably already figured he couldn't commit.
"But!" He chirps, "I am very very interested in seeing you again. Multiple agains. And I'd like to come to an arrangement that makes that easier for you, since my schedule is so tight..."
For a moment, you stay quiet, and Satoru wonders if he should just offer you cash upfront. But you're receptive, and things go well.
Worryingly well, to be honest. What type of girl are you, exactly? Naughty thing. Get money from a lot of men, do you?
You laugh when he tries to bring it up in bed, "You're one to talk, Mr. can't-promise-exclusivity," you tease, running a hand through his hair while you smile at him.
He likes it when you do that. He likes a lot of things you do.
The real wonder is - although he is absolutely spectacular in bed of course - how much do you like it?
The whole relationship has to happen on his shitty, inconsistent schedule. He can't commit to a relationship or tell you about his job - you're better off that way. Even if you don't know.
Satoru Gojo who pretends to go on dates with other girls sometimes just so that no one watching him thinks he's serious about you. He can't have the Higher Ups thinking of you as a tool to use against him.
He can't even offer you exclusivity. Even if he wants to. Even if he struggles to get it up with those girls - his heart just isn't it in - when he's making sure everyone who's watching him knows you're just one of several people he's having sex with.
After all, the only thing that could be worse than people thinking you were the strongest sorcerer's weakness, was if they thought you might be pregnant with the strongest sorcerer's child.
But if he's fucking around, if he's the whore his so-called superiors make him out to be - then you're safe. Just another girl.
And god, does he take advantage of it.
Texting you late at night. Early in the morning. Times don't mean a lot to him these days.
The most sleep he ever gets is the rare night he spends with you, maybe once or twice a month, five hours in your arms before he pulls himself away and slinks out of bed while you're still asleep like a guilty dog.
He doesn't deserve your warmth or your bed. But he'll take it while you're offering. Eat it all up and beg shamelessly for seconds.
He makes up for it with money, or tries to. Leaves you treats and sweets and other gifts. Spam texts you and facetimes you constantly - when he can.
To be perfectly honest, he's kind of expecting to be dumped any day. He'll take whatever he can get.
If paying your rent or buying you a house makes you feel guilty enough to stay a few days longer with him, that's a good use of his money.
He arranges for you to receive an offer for a remote job, something flexible that will let you meet him whenever he comes calling.
His gifts get more lavish. He's always generous in bed, makes sure you have a good time.
He has a reputation to uphold, after all.
Sometimes he just stares at you when you're asleep. It feels like a waste to spend his precious few hours with you sleeping.
Look at you. All peaceful in his arms. Cuddling up to him.
He can admit, in the dead of night, with no witnesses but himself; the sight makes his heart tug.
If he could, he'd stay. Wake up next to you in the morning. Make breakfast, flirt, joke, maybe even take a little ~morning shower~ and have some fun in there.
It's so clear in his head. How you'd joke back. Smile and giggle and playfully bump against him. Give him a little kiss, a little hug before he leaves for work.
You would kiss his forehead when he got migraines. Hug him when he talks about his difficulties at work.
Your soft smile, your warm lips, your tight hug. It's all so vivid in his head. How you'd look in the morning light, staring at him while you think he's asleep.
Would you stare? What would show on your face, then?
He tries, very hard, not to imagine what your face must look like when you wake up alone every time you sleep with him.
What you think about when he's not there.
Do you wonder if he's with other women? Do you see his flirty texts - "sorry kitten daddy's gotta work late" "babygirl you're not my dad, he goes to bed at 9." - and wonder if he's said that to a hundred other girls?
Because he has. And that's what hurts, really. He could message a hundred girls and get a hundred vapid responses, all those notifications could build up in his phone and he wouldn't care.
But when it's you messaging him?
When you tell him about your day, or text him a picture, or pick up on the rare phone call he gets to make - Satoru's heart skips a beat.
What about you? He thinks about you checking your phone constantly to see anything from him, and it hurts.
You don't show any unhappiness about the arrangement. Every gift, every little arrangement or donation he makes, you accept it all with grace. Everything money can buy is yours, he makes that clear.
As long as you're with him, he'll spoil you rotten. And you were starstruck in the beginning, he could tell.
Expensive hotels, exclusive restaurants. First class flights everywhere, even a private jet if you want it. He brings you custom made jewelry worth more than people make in a year, pulls it out of his pocket and clasps it around your wrist like a passing trinket.
You get used to the constant spa days, the shopping trips. Ordering food for every meal. Living in a city center in a beautiful penthouse with brilliant fixtures. And you're happy like that. At least you look like you are.
But every time he sees you, you're with him. He can't tell if you miss him, if you're sad when he's not there.
He... he sort of doesn't want to know.
Satoru Gojo who loves you. And he hopes to god you don't love him back.
After all, if you did, then you'd want things from him he can't give. Shouldn't give.
But if all you love is his money? He's got tons of it. You can have as much as you want. He can make you happy. He can buy the love he can't afford to earn. He'll never run out of funds.
As long as it's only his money you love, he can have you forever.

as somebody who was raised differently, there were certain things your sisters got than you. sure they had better tutors and trainers, but they always had the best of the best. the best dresses, shoes, friends, the best attention.
and they always got complimented. you would listen and observe, wondering if you looked or acted so inherently different from them that caused people to totally brush past you. for a while you felt like a ghost, wandering around life as people ignored you. your sisters were the light of everybody’s life, and you were just there. always in the back.
but with arranged!gojo, it’s so different.
he always finds a way to say something good about you, things you never considered before. sure he compliments your baking (a part of you wonders if it’s only because he wants more), but he tells you that your horsemanship is stellar or that your penmanship is amazing. it slips out to, as if he actually meant it.
you’ve spent your entire life believing that you weren’t remarkable. you spent years trying to mimic the way your sisters talked or acted, hoping that maybe if you were like them people would notice you. but with gojo it seems like the more you you are, the more he enjoys your company.
one day when you’re trying on some new gowns, courtesy of him of course, he happens to find you in your shared bedroom, having a little break in between his counsel meetings and training.
your eyes meet his in the mirror, widening as you turn around with a bright smile.
“satoru! you’re here! how’d you get here?” you ask, happy to have seen him in between his busy schedule. the tension in his body melts upon seeing and hearing you, eyes softening at your genuine excitement.
“i had some time to spare, decided to drop on by,” he answers nonchalantly, but you can tell with the slight blush on his cheeks that he intently came here, knowing you’d be trying on your new garments because you told him that last night.
you roll your eyes, looking back to the mirror as you survey the gown, pursing your lips. you feel him coming closer, close enough until his hands wrap around your waist and he’s staring at you staring at yourself.
“i liked those ones,” you point to the pile of gowns on the bed, “but i think i look ridiculous in those,” you point to the ones on the chair. alina offered to help you, but you promised you’d be fine. bedsides, this was something you preferred doing in your own.
“ridiculous? nonsense,” gojo snorted, his fingers tracing the beaded work on your stomach.
you lean back into his chest a little, silently looking at yourself in the mirror.
“i don’t think i look pretty in this,” you mutter, tugging at the sleeves.
“what?” gojo frowns, looking down as you and the clothing your staring heavily at, “i think it looks gorgeous on you.”
you huff, chewing on your cheek.
“i don’t know,” you murmur quietly, feeling embarrassed, “my fathers wife always said i looked worst in red.”
gojo feels his brows furrow even more.
“the old hag?” he tries to tease but there’s an underlying bite in his voice.
he’s watched you for a while now, silently. though you talk about your old life here and there, there are some things that have weighed in on you that you never voice.
he’s aware of how your fathers wife and sisters treated you. he knows you were just the spare, an extra part of the family they never liked to include. you told him once how your excludes from the family portrait that hangs tall in the foyer, or how you’ve been erased from the will. he can’t do anything but listen. and he knows he’ll never understand just how badly they treated you there, but every passing day he seems to find out more and more.
“i think you’re very pretty,” he whispers softly, kissing the side of your head as his hands squeeze your waist, his eyes catching yours in the mirror, “and i think you look beautiful in red.”
your gaze wavers from his and to the table, not used to this.
gojo sees the way you fidget with your fingers and the way your breathing hitches. he can only imagine how many times you’ve been told otherwise, forced to think the opposite.
because he wasn’t just saying it to say it. gojo truly believed you were the most beautiful person he’s ever seen. he knew it from the moment you met when you were teenagers, and he knew it now. there’s a certain beauty that you possess that everybody else lacks.
“thank you,” you say, swallowing thickly as you smile a little at him, “i think you’re very pretty too.”
gojo feels his heart clench at the quietness in your voice, the unassuming way you thanked him, not filling believing his words. and sure he’s been called all sorts of good things under the sun, but to hear the genuine kindness laced in your tone, it made him want to bottle you up and keep you everywhere he went.
his hands squeeze your wait tighter, pressing more kisses to your neck as your squirm, smiling widely at the feeling.
“you are always pretty,” he says as he turns you around, leaning your back on the drawer, “always.”
his hands rest on your hips, blue eyes searing through yours.
you duck your head a little bit, heat biting at your cheeks.
“really?” you ask, looking up at him as he sees a shine in your eyes, trying your best not to shed those tears.
gojo feels his hands tighten on your dress, the fabric snagging under him as he breathes deeply through his nose.
he wonders if this is the first time anybody’s ever told you that. he doesn’t want to know if that’s true.
“really,” he repeats, his voice caught in the back of his throat. sometimes, you find a way to reduce him down to a few words. this man who’s been trained to sway others with his speeches, and he can barely speak around you.
you smile again, bashfully, your eyes creasing and cheeks full. gojo chases after your smiles, your happiness.
because though people might’ve whispered nice things when they know you couldn’t hear, those words never reached your ears. they never drowned out the waves of things you heard around your old house or from your family. and perhaps you spent a while thinking that you were just okay, never pretty or smart or funny enough, just okay.
but gojo says it all, and he says it loud. and you lived in the quite for so long that loud is strange. but it’s new, and you think you like it.
you look down at the gown, admiring the bead and needle work. it truly was a beautiful gown.
“i think i’ll keep it,” you say after a beat, and gojo smiles, a happy smile that he only shares with you.
he leans down, pressing a soft and sweet kiss to your lips, feeling the way you melt into him, holding him close to your chest. you hope he can’t feel the sting of tears at the corners of your eyes, or hear the way your heart beats erratically.
“good,” he murmurs as he pulls away for a second, “good.”
you smile.
“good,” you say, tilting your head a bit to find his lips again.

series masterlist
Tumblr media
Steve’s bedroom was always comfortably cluttered—movie tickets scattered on the nightstand, a lone shirt draped over the desk chair, and a rumpled blanket that smelled faintly of his cologne. You loved it here. Loved being with him here. The two of you were sprawled across his bed, legs tangled, currently discussing the goings-on with the people in Hawkins.
He always had a soft spot for scandal, unable to shake his love for idle gossip. He kept up with every whisper in the school hallways—a habit that only worsened once he gained access to the town’s personal archive of movie choices.
Dangerous information for him to have, truly.
“You should’ve seen what Keith has been checking out lately,” he said, propping himself up on his elbow, eyes bright. “Nothing but straight rom-coms. He thinks we don’t notice—‘cause, y’know, he does it on his own time—but Rob went snooping through the store’s computer system.”
“No way. Keith?” You snorted. “I thought he was into those art-house horror flicks or those silent German ones.”
“Right?” Steve agreed with a dramatic roll of his eyes. “We’re putting money on him having a girlfriend. That would explain why he’s been giving us both more hours lately—guy’s gotta prioritise his love-life, you know?”
“Huh,” you mused, nudging his knee with yours. “So he finally snagged a girl?”
“That’s the theory,” he affirmed, voice dropping conspiratorially. “Now we just gotta figure out who it is. Or corner him into telling us.”
You giggled, leaning your head against his shoulder. “Well, I’m sure that won’t take long. Keith has never been good at subtlety.”
“Kinda jealous he’s the one who arranges the schedule, though.” He hummed, shifting closer until you could feel the warmth of his breath on your hair. “Means I gotta argue with him if I want a full weekend off.”
“You poor thing,” you teased, tapping his chest. “I can always come hang out if you get stuck working. Keep you company.”
He brightened. “Yeah?”
“Totally,” you said smiling. “I don’t mind. I'm very entertaining.”
“Well, does that mean when I get a weekday off, I can come crash your work?” he asked, waggling his brows. “I look great in a tie.”
You eyed him skeptically, but there was no denying he’d look downright mouthwatering in a suit. All done up, weaving through your office like he owned the place—it made your insides curl.
He’d probably climb the ladder faster than you, effortlessly charming his way to the top. It was unfair how charismatic he could be, even without trying.
“I wish you could.” You groan, getting your mind out of the gutter. “It’d make the day go so much faster.”
"I’d be the perfect intern," he agreed, "I could grab the coffee for a change—plus,” a playful smile tugs at his lips as he gazes down at you, “I already know exactly how you like it."
You laughed, then shrugged. “Actually, you wouldn’t have to run for coffee now. We got a new hire last week—Ryan, I think his name is? He’s younger, maybe by a year or so, but super eager. I’ve been showing him around, finally getting some of the stress off my plate.”
His expression changed with a touch of curiosity or perhaps just a pang of protectiveness—but it settled quickly into genuine affection. He reached out and brushed a stray strand of hair away from your face.
“You looking out for him, angel?”
“Yeah—well, I mean—” A flush crept up your cheeks. “I would’ve liked if someone had done that for me when I started, you know? Don’t want him to feel overwhelmed by everything.”
He almost melted as those words left your lips, loving the flustered look on your face when he praised you.
God, you’re too sweet for your own good sometimes.
You snuggled closer and let out a yawn, feeling his arm tighten around you in a gentle hug as you hid your face in his chest.
“Alright,” he said, clearing his throat as he glanced at the clock on his desk. “Come on sleepyhead. You’ve got an early morning, gotta get some rest."
You groaned dramatically. “Ugh, don’t remind me.”
“Hey,” he offered with a warm smile, “want me to drive you? I’ve got tomorrow off so it’s really no trouble.”
“Honestly, it’s fine.” You shook your head tiredly. “Have a lie-in for once, you deserve it. Besides, you’re picking me up after work anyway, right?”
A lazy, content grin spread across his face.
“Yeah, yeah. Alright,” he murmured, leaning in to kiss you—slow and sweet. “Come on, sweetheart. Bedtime.”
Tumblr media
Steve insisted on seeing you off that morning, even when you tried to do the nice thing and let him sleep in.
He woke up with you anyway. It baffled you how he could sleep through his own alarm but miraculously rise at the first buzz of yours. Even when you tried to turn it off and sneakily creep around his room without rousing him, your efforts were futile.
He followed you downstairs and sipped the coffee he brewed for you both at the kitchen counter, watching while you tugged on your office blazer, making sure your hair was just right in the reflection of the hall mirror.
It made him grin stupidly, watching you hustle around in your formal attire—his career girl.
He couldn’t help himself. He’d pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead at his doorstep before you left, telling you to “knock ‘em dead.” Which earned him a huff from you.
He was far too corny in the morning for your liking.
Only when your car was out of sight did he head back inside, now all glum that he had to entertain himself for the rest of the day.
He spent his time alone doing errands—laundry, a quick trip to the grocery store, all while counting down the hours till he could swing by your office.
It wasn’t pathetic, but he’d be the first to admit he was maybe a little too eager. Then again, he’d found his person, and he figured it wasn’t a crime to want every spare minute with you.
When the time finally came, he pulled up outside the Hawkins Post, scanning the pavement for your familiar silhouette.
He spotted you laughing with someone—the new hire, must be, he deduced as he took in the guy’s slightly younger appearance and the way he stood just a bit too close to you for his liking. His fingers tightened around the steering wheel as he examined him further.
Great. Of course he’s hot.
You glanced up just then, beaming at the sight of the familiar BMW. After a quick word to your coworker—who, he noted—looked decidedly unhappy as he caught Steve’s eye.
You bounded over to the passenger seat as he gave the guy a little wave, more smug than polite, and felt a twist of satisfaction when the guy’s scowl deepened.
You slid into the seat, barely getting the door shut before he leaned in over the console to kiss you—deep and warm, with a hint of urgency that made your pulse skip. You let out a surprised hum but quickly relaxed into it, hand coming up to rest on his cheek.
“What was that for?” You pulled back, blinking at him.
He shrugged, eyes flicking past you to the figure still hovering on the pavement.
“Nothing,” he said, casual as can be. “Just missed you, that’s all.”
He caught your colleague staring and resisted the urge to smirk openly.
Gotcha.
You huffed a playful laugh, still a little breathless. “Well, I’m not complaining.”
“Ready to go?” Steve asked, turning the key in the ignition. You nodded, and he eased the car into the street. “Oh—there are M&Ms in the glove box. Grabbed 'em for you.” He added, remembering picking them up at the store earlier. Knowing you’d appreciate it.
“Ugh, you’re the best, you know that?” you said, popping open the compartment and grabbing the bag, eagerly tearing through the plastic.
He glanced sideways, a small, satisfied grin tugging at his lips. Holding out his hand, he waited as you handed him a few—only fair, after all.
Because, yeah, he is the best.
Damn right.
And he’s glad you think so too.
Tumblr media
Dinner had wrapped up at your flat, the remnants of takeaway containers still on the coffee table, but neither of you paid them much mind. You were curled up with him on the couch, your legs draped over his lap as you recounted every last detail of your day—he hung onto each word like it was the most important news in the world.
Well, more important to him than the news you printed, anyway.
“And,” you said, voice cracking with excitement, “they’re finally letting me write my own story! The whole thing, just me.”
His grin was instant, radiant enough to outshine the lamp in the corner. Pure happiness poured from him as he watched you speak, your joy lighting up the room.
There wasn’t a trace of resentment—just pride, just excitement, just you.
He was every bit as thrilled as you were, because he knew how hard you’d worked to get here. And now, seeing it all finally pay off, he couldn’t have been prouder of you.
“That’s incredible, honey,” he said truthfully. “Seriously, can’t wait to read it. What’s it gonna be about?”
You shrugged, flustered and thrilled all at once. “I have so many ideas—I haven’t decided yet.”
“Well, whatever you choose, I’m first in line for a sneak peek.” He draped an arm behind you on the couch, giving you a playful nudge. “You gonna let me see the first draft?”
“Nope.” You snorted. “You have to wait until it’s printed, just like everyone else. No boyfriend privileges here.”
“What?” He let out a mock-offended huff. “I’m supposed to wait for the issue like the rest of town? Come on you gotta give me, like, a preview or something.”
“Alright, alright,” you conceded, stifling a laugh at his dramatic pout. “Let me get changed first, and then maybe we can brainstorm together, okay?”
He leaned back, playful grin returning. “But I like the corporate look.”
“Yeah, well, now you get the pajama look,” you countered, sticking your tongue out as you got up.
He watched you walk off, fondness swelling in his chest. He’d never get tired of that view—hair done up from a day at the office, blouse slightly rumpled from a long day’s work.
You disappeared into your bedroom, leaving him alone on the couch. He let out a contented sigh, kicking his feet up on the coffee table.
With a lazy flick of the remote, he turned up the volume on the TV, barely sparing it a glance. What you wore didn’t matter to him—truth be told, he loved you just as much in cosy attire as in your best dressed-up look.
Comfort suited you, and therefore suited him just fine.
Not even a minute after your departure, the phone rang—a jarring, tinny sound that made him glance over his shoulder. It only rang twice before he heard your cheerful voice answer in the bedroom.
His ears perked up. He couldn’t help it—he was nosey.
Sue him.
Muting the TV, he angled his head to listen, as your muffled giggle drifted through the space.
“No, seriously, don’t worry about it,” you said. “He doesn’t need it until Monday—promise.”
He rose from the couch, moving quietly toward your slightly ajar door. He caught a glimpse of you standing by your chest of drawers, one hand on your hip, the other clutching the receiver. He couldn’t quite make out every expression with your back turned, but your tone was friendly, warm, comfortable.
An unwelcome pang of jealousy flared in his chest, though he quickly reminded himself that you love him, you’ve talked about this, he trusts you.
Still, he couldn’t resist sidling closer.
“Yeah, don’t listen to what he said,” you continued, your tone soothing. “He’s all talk, trust me.”
He inched into the room, sliding his arms around your waist from behind and nuzzling his face against your neck. Your skin was still warm and you let out a tiny squeak of surprise, but you didn’t pull away. Instead, you leaned into him.
He inched down to whisper in your free ear, low and soft.
“Who is it?”
Turning to him, you quickly covered the receiver with your palm. “Ryan,” you mouthed.
Ryan. Right. Great.
He rolled his eyes a little, then brushed a slow kiss on the side of your neck.
“Call him tomorrow, sweetheart,” he murmured, voice playful but filled with an undercurrent of impatience.
You already spent the whole day with the guy, and now he's calling you? Even when he saw him pick you up? It didn’t take a genius to figure out you had other plans, and the thought nudged at him uncomfortably.
You shook your head in exasperation, though you were smiling. He continued to nuzzle you, pressing you gently forward until your back arched at the contact.
“Leave work at the door,” he teased, fingers pressing slightly into your waist.
You exhaled a soft laugh and brought the phone back to your ear. “Hey, Ryan? I’ll, uh, I’ll just swing by the office a bit earlier tomorrow if you need anything else, okay? … Yeah, no worries, meet you outside. Bye.”
You placed the handset back in the cradle and turned fully to face your boyfriend, still in your work clothes, not yet changed.
Crossing your arms, you fixed him with a look, and he couldn’t help but smirk, already anticipating the playful scolding coming his way. But all he could focus on was you—standing there in your blouse and slacks, looking far too damn sweet for him to take even the slightest bit seriously.
“Feeling needy, huh?” you asked, tilting your head.
He let out an incredulous huff, the corner of his mouth tugging upward.
“What? Couldn’t he have waited till tomorrow? I mean… come on. He could have talked to you anytime today.”
You shrugged. “I did tell him he could call if he had any questions.”
He snorted, stepping closer, fingers trailing gently along your waist.
“Questions, huh?”
“Questions,” you confirmed, heart skipping a beat at the intent look in his eyes.
His touch lingered, a tiny spark of possessiveness flickering behind his eyes. Then the realisation seemed to strike. You saw it—the slight tightening of his jaw, the faint furrow between his brows. It made you bite your cheek to stop from letting a giggle slip.
“Wait a second,” you said, holding back a smile. “Steve, are you… are you jealous?”
“What? No.” He shifted, clearing his throat. “Absolutely not.”
“You so are,” you pressed, delighting in the way his nose scrunched ever so slightly.
“Sweetheart,” he warned, voice dipping lower, “I’m not.”
You only giggled, emboldened by the rosy flush creeping into his cheeks, wanting to push his buttons just a little.
“Aw, you think I’d ever pick him over you?”
Something sparked in his eyes, a confident glint that made your stomach flutter.
“Oh, honey,” he purred, “I know you wouldn’t pick him over me.”
You couldn’t resist teasing him one step further.
“Oh, well…” you sighed, letting the words trail with a mischievous lilt, “I’m not quite sure. I mean, he knows my coffee order too, you know.”
The air shifted—his hand slid up your torso in one smooth motion, fingertips barely brushing the exposed skin of your collarbone before settling at the base of your throat.
His palm rested there, thumb gently grazing your quickening heartbeat as he angled your chin up to face him.
“You wanna finish that thought, sweetheart?” he murmured, voice low enough to send a tremor through you.
You swallowed, a sudden dryness in your throat. He smirked, clearly relishing your hesitation.
“Didn’t think so,” he whispered, brushing his lips fleetingly against the corner of your mouth before pulling back.
Your heart pounded, body already hyper-aware of each place he touched you. You wondered if he could feel the way your pulse had sped up beneath his hand—because from the triumphant gleam in his eye, it was clear he knew precisely what kind of effect he had on you.
When his fingers trailed beneath your collar again, you shivered, and the reaction only seemed to spur him on.
“Think I’m jealous, baby?” His mouth hovered just above yours, teasing, refusing to close the distance.
When you leaned in, he pushed back just enough to make you wait, to make you listen.
"Need me to show you how well I take care of you?” His other palm slid against your lower back, holding you flush against him. “Can’t have you forgetting, can we?"
The way he was looking at you, like he dared you to argue.
His eyes were locked on yours, hungry and unapologetically smug, as he backed you against the counter. Waiting for the subtle nod of your head to tell him to continue.
His fingers fiddled with the button of your trousers, and you could practically feel his heart racing in sync with your own.
“H-haven’t forgotten,” you managed to stutter out, trying to sound more confident than you felt.
He cocked a brow as he paused his motions, leaning in until his breath fanned over your lips.
“You sure? The way you were talking—almost like you need a reminder.” A slow, dangerous smile tugged at his mouth. “And you know how much I love proving my point.”
You swallowed hard. You did know—Steve was stubborn as hell, and once he made up his mind, there was no talking him down.
You’d learned that the very first time you hung out with him—he spent a whole hour building you that damned bookshelf that was wedged in the corner of your living room, refusing to even let you help him carry it up the stairs. All in an effort to prove himself to you.
And by the way he was acting, he was determined to prove himself again.
“Say the word, baby, and I’ll stop.” He tells you earnestly, as his brown eyes search your face.
He would stop in an instant if you told him to, but the way you're looking at him tells him you won’t. Something tells him that you want him to show you how good he can make you feel.
And Steve?
Well, Steve never backed down from a challenge.
You let out a shaky exhale, no response forming except the pleading expression you're giving him. A small, triumphant noise rumbled in his throat. Your slacks and underwear hit the floor, and in one swift motion, he coaxed you against the side of the counter, broad hands splaying over your hips.
He brushed his hand against you slowly, cautiously, fingers gliding against your core and making your knees threaten to buckle.
“Already?” His tone was low, teasing, right at your ear as his fingers entered you with a lewd, wet sound. “You’re shaking, baby. Maybe I have been neglecting you.”
“Please,” you whimpered after a moment, overwhelmed by how slow and teasing he was moving—he wasn’t normally quite so unhurried with the foreplay.
Steve usually never made you beg for anything.
He let out a soft chuckle, pressing a slow, teasing kiss to the side of your neck. Clearly, he was enjoying this—relishing the way your hands pawed at his shoulders, desperate, pleading for more. For him to stop playing and just give in.
“Shhh, I’ll take care of you, alright?” His fingers moved with agonising precision. “So sensitive—so sweet for me”
Your breathing stuttered; the sensations bloomed hot and electric with every brush of his fingers. But his mouth kept going, sliding into that cocky territory he owned so well.
“Bet he wouldn’t even know where to start with you,” he murmured, voice laced with pride. "Wouldn’t even know how fucking beautiful you sound when you—" his thumb pressed hard against your clit, dragging a desperate, wrecked moan from your lips, “—fuck yourself on my fingers.”
You could tell he was on a roll, completely caught up in the moment, but you mustered the courage to speak anyway.
Feeling bold, you forced a small smirk, even as your body threatened to betray you. You’d never seen him this pent up before—this utterly consumed—and the sheer thrill of it sent a sharp, electric spark through you.
Curiosity burned—just how far could you push him?
“O-oh, I don’t know—” you managed to choke out, stepping on dangerous territory. “He’s a keen learner…”
So that’s how it’s gonna be, huh?
Everything stopped—his fingers, his breath, the push of his body against yours. He stilled, letting a harsh exhale flare his nostrils.
Then a dark, knowing laugh bubbled out of him as he lifted his head to look at you—really look at you. You caught a glimpse of his determined face, before all composure snapped.
Now he really had something to prove.
“Fuck, angel,” he groaned, voice taking on a frustrated edge. “You just don’t know when to stop—do you?”
Before you could react, he flipped you around and pushed your hips down against the dresser with a firm grip. The wood pressed into your stomach, your palms splayed on either side as he molded himself to your back.
He cupped your jaw from behind and you gasped at the harshness of his grip, every nerve alive. His teeth found your shoulder, biting just enough to blur the line between pleasure and pain.
You let out a sharp cry, and he swallowed it with a low groan. Running his tongue against the dull ache as a gentle apology.
“One of these days," he muttered, "that smart mouth of yours is gonna get you in trouble—” you could feel his breath, hot and ragged, “—lucky for you, I’m the one who gets to teach it a lesson.”
His words send shivers across your skin and you tried to twist in his grip.
“Oh no, you don’t,” he chided as you tried to squirm, pressing against you back as he stilled your movements. “Stay.”
He placed one strong palm between your shoulder blades, guiding you lower, til your chest made contact with the wooden surface. Keeping you where he wanted you.
He wasn’t pushing, wasn’t forcing—just holding you there, making sure you felt him, making sure you knew exactly how this was going to go.
Your legs stumbled as you adjusted to the position, and he just laughed, sliding his fingers inside you once more, coaxing the most desperate little noises from your lips.
“Say my name, angel,” he demanded, that infuriating confidence dripping from every syllable.
“S-Steve,” you whimpered, voice barely recognisable to your own ears.
“Good,” he praised, dipping his head to kiss along your shoulder, fingers hitting that sweet spot inside that he knew drives you wild. “Want it to be the only thing in your head, okay?”
You moaned out his name once more, and he hummed with approval.
“That’s right." He cooed. "You're a fast learner, baby.”
He pulled away momentarily and you whined at the loss of contact, until you heard the metallic rasp of his zipper. He was right back against you, pressing his length along you with a low moan.
"You feel that?"  he murmured, voice thick with need as he pressed against you, rolling his hips in a slow, deliberate grind. The friction sent sparks through your core, pulling a soft gasp from your lips. His grip tightened, fingers digging in just enough to make you shiver. "You're soaked, sweetheart."
He didn’t want to wait—couldn’t wait. He needed to prove it to you, needed you to understand just how much he could give you. Just how much he deserved you.
You tried to speak, but your voice came out ragged. Then, mercifully, he pushed inside—slow enough to let you feel every inch. The stretch pulled a drawn-out, trembling whine from your chest.
“Ah, fuck—.” His own voice cracked, hips snapping forward as though he couldn’t possibly wait another second. “That’s it—see how good that feels?—pussy was made for me. Ain't that right, angel?”
You only mewled in response as he settled into a driving rhythm, each thrust pushing you into the surface, bullying his cock deeper and deeper inside.
He wrapped a hand against the back of your neck, keeping you pinned where he could use you, pressing hot kisses along your shoulders when you cried out. It was music to his ears as he continued his relentless pace.
Normally he was gentler, but now, he was done holding back. The litany pouring from his mouth was shameless, full of desire and unfiltered possessiveness.
“Should’ve kept him on that damn phone—” he rasped against your neck, each word punctuated by a thrust. “Should’ve made him listen to how you sound—‘cause that’s the closest he’s ever gonna get to having you like this—”
Your walls tightened around him as his words poured over you, and he noticed—of course he noticed. He drank in every tremor, every flutter of your pussy, letting out a breathless laugh tinged with disbelief as he felt you squeeze him deeper at his teasing remarks.
"You like that?—really?" He let out an amused chuckle at the new information. “Shit—never knew how filthy you were, baby.”
The way you gripped his length, pulling him deeper, the sinful sounds spilling from your lips—he knew he was giving you both. Worship and destruction.
And fuck, you loved it.
You dragged your nails across the dresser’s surface, searching for an anchor in the storm of sensation. His hand slid over yours, fingers lacing as he drove into you, relentless.
“Too fucking bad he’s never gonna see how pretty you look when you're fucked dumb,” he whispered, leaning in to kiss the side of your neck, his hot breath sending shivers down your spine. "That's just for me."
You felt your composure slipping, your body teetering on the edge. Your head rolled to the side, a broken string of words escaping.
“Steve, please—” spilled from your lips, but you weren’t even sure what you were begging for at this point.
He tangled his fingers in your hair, pulling you upright just enough so he could whisper directly into your ear. The pain was delicious as you arched against him, lungs gasping for air as he continued to spill every dirty thought he had.
"It's alright sweetheart—I’ll give you what you need. Just look at you—can’t even think straight." A soft, desperate moan tore from your throat as his mouth continued to run. "Just falling apart on my cock, letting me fuck every last thought out of that pretty head of yours."
His pace quickened, your body overwhelmed with the slide of him inside your walls, the heat of his skin, the possessive timbre in every word he rasped into your ear.
"But you know what you will remember?" he purred, teeth grazing the shell of your ear. "Every time you see him, you’ll remember how I had you bent in half, screaming my name—not his." He let you fall back onto the dresser, firm grip returning to your shoulder. "I want this burned into you, baby. So every fucking time you even look at him, all you can think about is me stretching you open—ruining you for anyone else."
Fuck, you knew Steve was loose-lipped in bed, but this was something else entirely.
He wasn’t making love to you—he was fucking you. Hard. Rough. Saying whatever filthy thing came to mind without a second thought.
You wished you could throw back a sly quip, but at this pace? You could barely breathe, let alone speak.
Not that it would matter—he wouldn’t give you the chance.
Your moans rose in pitch, matching the mounting tension in your core, and he groaned, voice unraveling into something so heady it almost vibrated through you.
"I—fuck—I want you feeling me tomorrow, sweetheart—want every step you take to remind you exactly what’s waiting for you when you come home." He thrust sharply, greeted with the cry that tore from your lips. "‘Cause, baby, I’ve got no problem bending you over like this again and again—’til the lesson sticks—"
That final promise was all you needed—you came hard, a wave of ecstasy rolling through you as your body clenched around him. Your cry echoed in the small space, and you felt his grip falter as he groaned your name, riding the crest of your climax.
“Fuck, baby—that’s it,” he choked out, thrusts turning erratic. “So good for me, taking me so—”
Then he followed you over the edge, hips snapping one last time before his body seized. You felt his breath come in ragged pants against your neck, his chest pressed to your back. Every muscle in him went taut, then slack, as he let out a deep, guttural moan of satisfaction.
Your name fell from his lips in a trembling exhale, and for a moment, neither of you moved—both lost in the aftermath, hearts hammering in sync.
He held you for a beat longer, both of you still catching your breath. Your body trembled against the wood, and as he finally pulled out, he stayed close—almost reluctant to let you go.
But as he pulled away brushing a knuckle over your spine, guilt crept into his eyes the moment he took in your shaky form.
“Ah—shit” he murmured, voice low. “Hey, sweetheart, you with me?”
You nodded weakly, turning your head and giving him the smallest smile of reassurance, but he still frowned in concern. Maybe he'd gone overboard.
“Yeah… all right. Can you stand?”
“I—I think so,” you managed breathily.
“Okay,” he whispered, guiding you upright with one gentle arm around your waist. Once he was sure you weren’t going to topple over, he bent down to scoop up your trousers and set them aside. You’d probably complain if they got creased—more creased than they were. Though, that wasn’t his number one priority right now.
You noticed the way his forehead furrowed in worry as he led you to the bed, helping you settle against the duvet. He slid in behind you, propping himself against the headboard so you could rest in his lap.
Your hands trembled a bit from aftershocks—adrenaline still coursing through your veins. He felt it, too, and his anxious expression only deepened.
He tucked a piece of hair behind your ear, pressing a soft kiss to the crown of your head.
“Hey, angel?” His voice was gentle, coaxing, as he sought your eyes. “Can you look at me for a sec?”
You tilted your head back to meet his worried gaze, your cheeks still flushed and eyes glazed with the rush of it all. His own eyes flickered over your messy hair, the light smudges of your makeup, and your rumpled work shirt. Guilt pinched at his features.
“I didn’t hurt you, did I?” His words tumbled out in a rush. “I’m sorry if I got carried away. I just—just got caught up in everything, and you—”
You let out a soft chuckle, lifting a hand to cover his mouth gently.
God, he’s adorable when he’s fussing over you.
“Steve,” you said softly, watching him go silent. “You didn’t hurt me. I promise.”
He still looked unconvinced. “You’re just saying that.”
“No, I'm not,” you replied, smoothing your thumb over the swell of his bottom lip. “I’m really, really good. Better than good.”
He cupped your face gently, thumb brushing soft circles into your cheek, eyes flicking between yours as if searching for any sign of discomfort.
“Didn’t mean to be so rough,” he murmured, voice laced with concern. "Should've been more gentle with you, angel."
You were still quivering in his lap, body still sensitive. He was torn between holding you tighter against him, or letting you breathe.
You leaned forward after sensing his hesitation, brushing a soft kiss to his jaw, you make the decision for him.
“I loved it." You tell him truthfully. "I love you.”
He exhaled a shaky breath, hands finding your hips and holding you there. His warmth seeped into you through the fabric of your rumpled work shirt.
You loved him.
No matter how many times the words left your lips, it still made his chest ache.
"Love you too," he murmurs, eyes avoiding yours as they dart to his lap. "Just... don't want you thinking I, like, lost control or something." He looks up at you sheepishly. "Never want to hurt you."
“I know that.” You rested your palm against his jaw, the intimacy of the moment made your heart flutter. “I trust you. And if it was too much, I’d tell you.”
He stared at you for a moment, brow furrowed in uncertainty. “Promise?”
“Promise.”
A long exhale left him, relief slumping his shoulders.
“Thank God.” He leaned forward to rest his forehead gently against yours.
“But… you’re probably right.” You managed a playful smile as his eyes snapped to yours. “I’m definitely going to feel it tomorrow.”
A rosy flush bloomed across his face, and he buried it against your neck with a half-embarrassed groan. “Sorry.”
“Don’t be.” You gave a teasing shrug, ignoring the dull ache that made itself known the second you moved your hips. “You might’ve had a point, too.”
“Yeah?” he asked, lifting his head, curiosity flickering in his eyes.
A teasing grin curled your lips. “You are kinda hot when you’re jealous.”
“Oh, God, don’t say that.” He winced exaggeratedly, making you laugh. “You’ll give me a complex or something.”
You laughed again, and he couldn’t help smiling back, brushing his nose against your cheek in a moment of affection.
“But, I mean, are you feeling jealous?” You asked him with full seriousness. “Because if you are, you can talk to me about it.”
He swallowed, his grip loosening slightly as his eyes softened, realisation settling deep in his chest.
You cared. So much. He thought about it for a brief moment—was he really jealous?
But then he looked at you, all concerned in his arms. The way you gazed at him, unwavering and sure, the way you had trusted him completely not five minutes ago, letting him take control, letting him have you.
It was all the answer he needed.
There was no room for doubt, no reason for insecurity. You were his—entirely his—and he knew it.
“No,” he finally said, voice gentle. “’M not jealous. Not really. I just—I don't know—wanted to make my girl feel good.” His lips quirked up in a small, sheepish grin. “And I guess I wanted to remind you who you’ve got waiting when you clock out.”
You leaned up to plant a reassuring kiss on his jaw. “Well, message received,” you teased, drawing a chuckle from him.
Steve glanced down at your blouse, still haphazardly half-done-up, and your bare legs still shaking.
“Let’s get you cleaned up, yeah? I kinda distracted you from changing.”
“You definitely did.” You smile softly as he gets up, offering you his hand to stand.
“C’mon, let’s get a bath running.” He tells you as he cocks his head towards the door.
He guides you to the bathroom, flicking on the light and starting the taps. As water rushed into the tub, he helped you out of your disheveled work shirt, eyes flicking appreciatively across your skin. Gently, he traced a thumb over a reddening mark on your neck where he’d bitten down. A pang of guilt made his eyes tighten.
“Sorry about that,” he whispered, pressing a featherlight kiss over the mark. “Got carried away.”
You rolled your eyes, fighting a grin. “Hey, you got what you wanted, didn’t you? Everyone to know I’m yours?”
“Yeah,” a bashful smile tugged at his lips. “I did.”
Once the bath was ready, you both climbed in. The warm water soothed the lingering tension in your muscles, and you leaned back against his chest with a contented sigh. His arms draped loosely around your middle, fingers stroking lazy shapes over your skin.
“So,” he spoke up after a moment, lips brushing your ear.  “you wanna brainstorm those ideas for your article now, Miss Journalist?”
You chuckled, letting your head fall back onto his shoulder. “Oh, now you’re interested in my writing process?”
“Course I am.” He gave a soft laugh, tightening his hold on you. “I’m always interested in whatever you’ve got going on. You know that.”
“Alright,” you teased, “I have a few pitches… maybe a feature on that new charity coffee place that’s opening up on Maple Street? Or this local teacher doing after-school science programs? I’m torn—so many good leads.”
Steve made an encouraging noise. “I like the teacher one,” he mused, brow furrowing in real consideration. “I mean, c’mon, that sounds like it’d be really feel-good for the paper. Everyone loves seeing that kinda community stuff.”
“You think so?” You felt a wave of affection swell through you at how genuine he was.
“Yeah. It’s definitely the kind of story that’ll get people talking in a good way.” He paused, a grin curling his lips. “But I gotta say… I also love coffee.”
“We’ll see which one the editor likes.” You giggle.
He helped you out of the tub once the water began to cool, wrapping a towel around his waist before carefully bundling you in another. He pressed a sweet kiss to your temple, then led you back to the bedroom, flicking off the overhead light so you were left in a peaceful glow from the bedside lamp.
You slipped into a soft tee and lounge shorts as he grabbed his own pyjamas from your chest of drawers, blushing at what transpired on it previously. He would never look at it the same way again.
You curled up against him in the bed—his arms around you made everything feel warm and safe.
“What time do you have to be at work tomorrow?” you mumbled against his chest.
“Not ’til afternoon,” he said, carding his fingers through your hair.
A content sigh escaped you, eyes fluttering shut. “Nice for some, I guess.”
“But,” he continued, clearing his throat pointedly, “I’m definitely dropping you off tomorrow.”
Your brow creased, and you glanced up at him with a sleepy frown.
“Why?”
He smirked, his hand coming to rest gently on your hip. “Because… you said you were meeting him earlier, right? The new guy?” He leaned in, voice dropping playfully. “I wanna see the look on your face when you see him—see if you remember exactly what we did tonight.”
Heat flooded your cheeks, and you smacked his chest lightly. “Steve!”
“What?” He chuckled, utterly delighted, pressing a mischievous kiss to your forehead. “I’m curious.”
You huffed in mock-annoyance but couldn’t hide your smile. “You’re incorrigible.”
His chest rumbled with laughter, and he buried his nose in your hair. “That’s me,” he murmured, voice going soft again as he held you closer.

Halloween was a big thing at Hogwarts. Each house held their own parties and own costume competitions; There would be snacks — courtesy of the kitchen elves — and drinks smuggled in from home or Hogsmeade. It was one of the best nights throughout the school year.
From your fourth year to your very last, you enjoyed every single second. Of course, you were dressed differently every year in hopes to win the costume contests. You were the Corpse Bride, then Dorothy, then a pirate. But this year, you chose something a little closer to Hogwarts itself.
“You know we have to get down there now if you want to be in the competition, right?” Pansy flicked her hair back and adjusted her Cher outfit.
You huffed and finished the last bits of gold adorning your cheeks. You loved Pansy, you really did, but jesus, she was a stickler to rules and schedules sometimes.
“Look, I’m done now.” You dust your hands off and arrange your golden wings to be more presentable. “How do I look?”
“Hot.” Her eyes roamed over your body and winked at you. “Draco will totally drool.”
You send her an amused smile before rushing out the dorm hand in hand. When you got to the Slytherin common room, everyone and everything was already upbeat. The lights had been dimmed even more and green lights were casted all around. The floor was sticky in spilt drinks and the room reeked of sex.
"Let's go get drinks!" Pansy shouted over the loud music and elbowed her way through the mass of Slytherin students, gagging when one couple was getting too intimate on the dance floor. "I am so happy you and Draco have boundaries!"
You roll your eyes at her and grab a plastic cup, filling it with firewhisky and downing it fast enough to forget what Pansy had said. She gave you an unimpressed look and took her own shot.
After joining the infamous costume contest and winning, mingling with the others and downing more drinks, a fifth year finally announced the arrival of the Slytherin Prince himself. And the party only got rowdier from there.
The second the blonde stepped into the common room, drinks were shoved into his hands; A courtesy of Blaise. Draco made his way over to the group of seventh years he deemed his friends since childhood before his eyes landed on you.
His eyes roamed across your body. From the golden makeup adorning your gorgeous face to the golden dress that hugged your curves and accentuated them, it was like he fell in love all over again. He watched you down another drink and shook his head in amusement. You looked so confident and happy and excited and ethereal in what you wore that he wanted to keep you all to himself.
“Well, what do we have here?” His free hand found its way to the curve of your hip and pulled you close to him, smirking when your eyes get blown wide at his sudden presence. “You look ravishing.”
“I know. I won the competition like always.” You brag as you murmur and wrap a hand around his tie, softly tugging on it so you could meet his lips without needing to strain. “And who are you supposed to be?”
“James Bond.” He pulled you even closer, wanting to be completely flush against you. “But I should’ve worn my Quidditch uniform because I believe I have my eye on the golden snitch.”
The smile that graced your lips practically emits warmth when you realize Draco knew what you were. “You should probably keep your sight on her because she’s not straying far.”
“Better not.” He planted a mind searing kiss to your lips and thumbed the costume, parting when he felt how rough it was. “Your dress feels uncomfortable to the touch, love. It’s not real gold, is it?”
“No, not all of it. Daddy wouldn’t let me get one.” You sigh as you lean your head on his chest and hiccup when he pats your ass softly at the remark.
Draco could practically see the flashing signs around you saying how plastered you were, and it was truly entertaining at the most. He knew you were drunk when you flaunted your father’s money around, which you typically never do. He finished his cup before tossing it somewhere, holding your hip with two hands now.
You look up at him at the movement, wide eyes only reflecting your pupils. “What?”
“Nothing, love. Just admiring.” He scanned your body once more and planted a kiss to the top of your head. “How many drinks have you had so far?”
You shrug and gasp when someone poured a fresh round right behind Draco. “Let’s go get some more!”
He shook his head and locked his arms behind you, “No more for you. You are so fucking drunk.”
“I am not!” You huff and almost stomp your golden heel on the ground like a spoiled child. “Blaise and Pansy are! Theyre practically fucking behind you!”
Draco pursed his lips and pulled you away from the center of the common room. It was funny how only during Halloween you would be more drunk than he was. Any other time, he would be absolutely plastered and ready to throw you over his shoulder for some quality time in the bedroom. Besides, he was also drunk, but not as drunk as you were at the moment.
“Hey—!” You whine and stumble up the staircase to his dorm. “Where are we going?”
“You’re done for tonight, my love.” He opened his shared dorm and quickly shut it behind him, quieting the room from the loud mass of music and people downstairs.
You blink at the sudden quietude and look up at him with eyes that made him want to abandon everything and take you there. Draco cleared his throat and adjusted himself, rubbing his palms against his eyes.
“Let’s get you changed into comfortable clothing, yeah?” He dug through his clothes to find a sweater and guided you toward the bathroom, flicking the light on.
“Draco?” You mumble as he sat you down on the counter and pulled your golden pumps off. “Draco.”
“Yes, baby?” He look up at you from his kneeled position, eyes equally blown wide. “What is it?”
You blink again and just watch him for a little longer, keeping eye contact with the blonde. Even in your intoxicated state you still found time to admire him.
“Nothing.” You sent him a cheeky smile at his expression, taking off your golden wings and handing them to him.
He stood from his spot and kissed your shoulder, “Do you wanna shower or go straight to bed?”
“Bed.” You yawn.
Draco hummed and helped your stand, slowly removing your dress and replacing it with his quidditch sweater. You smiled tiredly and leaned your body against his when he began wiping the makeup off your face, playing with the end of his tie.
“You remembered.” You murmur sleepily, blindly reaching for your toothbrush you kept in the boys dorm.
“I’ve been doing this for two years straight, I think I would know.” He handed you your toothbrush and toothpaste before removing the rest of your makeup and golden pins from your hair. “There.”
“Thank you.” You spoke with your toothbrush still in your mouth and leaned against the counter as Draco moved around you to change.
When you were both settled into bed, you wanted to just fall asleep right then and there, but you still had one thing to do. Your body was practically on top of his when you thought of it, your head rested on his bare shoulder.
“Draco?” You murmur and trace hearts on his chest, splaying your hand over his beating heart.
“Yeah?” He tilted his head over to you, resting his cheek on the top of your head.
“Happy third year anniversary.” You smile softly and fiddle with the promise ring he got you years ago.
“Happy anniversary, my love.” He hugged you tighter, head now buried in your shoulder and neck. “Thank you for being amazing.”
You kiss his cheek and sigh, “I love you.”
“I love you more than you could ever know.” Draco murmured and kissed you properly. “Cheers to three years.”

even world champions deserve love letters. after missing the mexico gp, you're determined to see max have a good weekend in brazil. maybe all it takes is a handwritten note.
cw: fem!reader, being in love, softness, a track-side kiss, love letters. and google translate, sorry to any dutch speakers.
a/n: was this inspired by that video from austin? yeah, it was! sue me! also, written/posted before the gp, so. no race details <3 xx
__
You miss race weekend in Mexico. It happens. You can't be there every weekend, much as you'd like to be. You're even more peeved about it after, considering you quite like Carlos and wish you had seen him earn what very well might be his last win with Ferrari. But you're mostly upset because Max, though he won't say so, could probably have used your support.
Years of experience have him calm, cool, and collected despite the team troubles. Flippant, some headlines say. Mad Max, others. But you know he's probably just tired. Tired of the media, of the FIA, of the churning conflict between him and Lando -- something you all knew was coming someday, but maybe not so suddenly. The longest season ever continues to drag and drag and drag.
"Twenty seconds was...Christ, Max," you say. You know what happened, of course. You watched what you could, saw the sharp moves around the corner and heard the radios. It never gets easier, watching him take risks like that. Usually, everyone else backs off, but McLaren can see victory on the horizon and won't let it go. You can't blame them, either of them, you just wish it was all a bit less tense.
"I know," he says, voice raspy over the connection. "I -- well, you know how I feel about it. Don't want to say anything in case the FIA is tapping my phone."
You laugh into your hand so you don't disturb the other people in the airline lounge, not entirely used to places like this, still. Max has told you over and over that it's absurd for you to spend your own money when you're coming to see him all over the world. When you told him you moved things around so you could come to Brazil, he booked you the nicest ticket, per usual.
"Oh, ha, ha," you say. "Don't give them any ideas, Mr. Community Service." You sigh. "Do you need anything? Be honest."
"Aren't you at the airport already? Your flight should be leaving in --" A pause, like he's checking his watch -- "forty minutes."
You glance up at the departures screen. He's right, but you don't give it to him so easily. "Know my schedule, do you?"
"Well, I booked your ticket, so I should think so."
"Your assistant booked it, you mean."
He hums and you picture him in his hotel room, maybe at the window, looking over the city. "I know your flight information. Don't be silly."
"I mean it, Max," you say again. "Is there anything I can do to make the weekend better?" It's a bit of a useless question and you expect him to answer with a snarky get me a new car or apply for the position of steward.
But he doesn't. He clears his throat.
"I'm just glad you're coming," he says, softly. "I've missed you."
You never doubt how Max feels about you, but he must be pretty tired to admit it like this. He's all about actions, this man. Making sure you have what you need when you're at the track, arranging your travel, remembering your schedule. He shows you how much you matter, and that's more than enough. He never wants to make you feel bad for having a life beyond being his girlfriend. And this doesn't, not really. It just makes you ache, fills your chest with the hopeless affection you've felt for him for so long.
"I've missed you, too," you reply. "But I'd like to be useful."
"Oh, I can think of a few things, then," Max says, all of a sudden all cheek. Such a boy, sometimes. A boy in love.
You can't help but laugh, face hot. "Hush, you!"
He huffs. A few beats of silence, the comfortable, well-worn kind. Sometimes, when he's halfway across the world and up late on the sim, he'll call you just to hear you breathe.
"Max?"
"I -- do you remember what you did for my birthday?"
He'd wanted something small, quiet. There was a lot of work to be done with the team but three weekends off meant you had a little time to yourselves. A few days hardly leaving his place, a dinner with some of the guys, a cake you made yourself, hand-delivered in bed. Gifts for a very wealthy man are difficult, especially since Max doesn't seem to want much.
"Oh, the pillow with my face on it?"
Max laughs. The lounge loudspeaker announces that your flight is going to board soon, so you gather your things but keep your phone wedged next to your ear.
"No, the other thing," he says. He clears his throat and summons some of that World Champion courage. "The letter."
You'd written him a fairly long love letter, thinking it would be a nice thing to carry to the races you couldn't be at this fall. It was tempting to be embarrassed about it when you gave it to him the morning of his birthday, but his cheeks had gone pink and he'd buried his face in your neck.
"Oh, that," you say. The airport is busier outside the lounge and you push your case in the direction of your gate weaving between. people.
"You could write me another, maybe."
Max is direct. He is honest, at work and at home, but this surprises you a little.
"You do know I'm about to get on a plane to see you, right?"
He huffs, and you imagine his cheeks pink, eyes bright. "You asked!"
"I'll write you another love letter, Max Verstappen," you assure him. "I'll write you a hundred."
"One is a fine start," he says firmly. "You should be boarding soon, and I've got to go to the press conference. Text me when you've landed?"
"Of course," you reply, eyes rolling though he can't see. "I'll see you soon, okay? Love you."
"Love you, liefje."
On the plane, you tear out some pages from your journal. You'd prefer to have some nice stationery like what you wrote on for his birthday, but maybe this is more romantic, more real. Making do with that you've got because he asked.
In the last one, you told him your memories of when you first met. How your stomach swooped when you made him laugh, how his blue eyes wouldn't leave your dreams. In this one you tell him about when you first realized you loved him. How absurdly early you were sure, how badly you wanted to tell him for weeks. The way you remember every second of when you blurted it out -- his face, his smile. His voice in your ear, telling you over and over, geliefde, ik houd van je, zo veel. I love you, so much.
"You're working hard on that," someone says. You look up at your seatmate, a woman a few decades older than you with a heavy accent.
You feel a little like you've been caught doing something illicit, but you just smile at her. "For my boyfriend," you tell her. "A love letter."
She flattens her palm over heart and sighs. "How lovely," she coos. "I hope he takes care of you, too."
We take care of each other, you want to say. You could tell her about how he sends you postcards from every country he goes to after you told him you like to put them on your fridge. You could tell her how sometimes you text him during his streams to make him laugh on camera. How he remembers your favorites, how he saves you his special team gear, how he sends you flowers all the time. How he likes to sit on the couch, your toes under his thigh, fingers around your ankle. How you've been learning Dutch and how he patiently corrects your pronunciation. You could go on and on and on.
"He does," you say instead.
__
The plane lands safely in Brazil, but the pilot tells you that there is no open gate and that you'll be sitting for a while. You text Max.
stuck on tarmac, will be later than expected! :(
He must be in media responsibilities still because he doesn't reply until you finally get off the plane.
go relax at the hotel. i'll see you for dinner!
You find your ride easy enough and take a deep breath. The letter you wrote on the plane feels heavy in your pocket, and you just want to see Max. To be near him again. To give him this small thing he asked for.
"Excuse me," you say to the driver. "Do you think we could go to the track, instead?"
You text Max's assistant to say you're headed there, hoping it's not too much of an inconvenience. You're told he's almost done, maybe an hour left, and when you arrive you're led to his driver rooms. His shit is everywhere, per usual. Max is quite neat except in here -- Carmen once told you that George is the same. Clothes strewn about, his race boots unlaced and left in the way, warm-up equipment in a pile. On the table are a few of his things -- his wallet, a notebook, some papers.
Wait a second. One of those papers looks...familiar. It's been folded in three, the envelope it came in nowhere to be seen. His name is scrawled on the blank side in your hand and when you tug it from the pile you can see that it's creased, the edges a little more worn than when you gave it to him a few months ago. Max Verstappen, three-time World Champion, actually carries around the love letter you wrote him. Brings it to the track. It's darling. You love him so much. You pull the new one from your pocket and set them side-by-side on the table where he'll find them.
You ask to be taken to the pit wall, please, so you can see whatever the drivers are doing on track. Some dedication, you're told. The timing ends up being perfect and you get there just as they're finishing. You lean on a gap in the barrier where, on Sunday, crew members will be holding timing signs as the drivers zip around the hot pavement. The crowd in the stands is loud, as always, and maybe you imagine it but it seems to get a little louder when you look out.
The guys are talking amongst themselves and a few of them wave at you. You spot Max as he turns away from Charles and you can't help but grin. His eyes meet yours under his cap and his entire face chances, softens, and he breaks into a jog. You lean out over the concrete ledge and meet him in a kiss that's more two smiles pressed together than anything else.
"This is a surprise," he says when he pulls away. Eyes sparkling, he shows no signs of rejoining the other drivers as they head to whatever their next thing is. Photos, probably.
"I missed you," you tell him. "I've left you something in your room."
"Oh?" He straightens the lanyard of your credentials with careful fingers.
You reach for him, palm on his cheek. His stubble tickles and he leans into it ever so slightly. It doesn't feel like there are thousands of eyes on you, not even a little.
"Yeah," you say. "As promised." Someone calls his name. "Go on, then. I'll be waiting."
He kisses you again, a quick brush of his lips on the corner of your mouth.
Later, you'll wake from your nap in the hotel room to those same kisses on your cheeks, your forehead. Max will gather you in his arms and tell you all the moments he almost told you he loved you, how he could hardly believe when you said it first. You'll tease him for how many times he's read that first letter and he'll cheekily say that's why he needs more. And you will write him more, you'll write him as many as he wants. As many as you can, for the rest of your lives.
But now, in front of thousands of screaming fans, he smiles at only you, boyish and pleased.
