Suddenly, in the Silence:

"I think the closet is haunted," TK says, fumbling the buttons of his lapelled pajama shirt. Carlos faces the opposite side of the room. "But it's from Ikea." "Not that one." TK throws an arm towards the white pre-fab nothingy unit that had housed their pajamas. "I mean the old Reyes relic." "My dad's tatarabuelo built that," Carlos says defensively. headcanon for nessian - they take at least a night a week together to do each others hair. i like to imagine both of them have elaborate hair routines in their own ways but especially cassian. no matter how casual he tries to seem i can guarantee you he has five different hair products he uses and a microfibre towel.

three good things in my life - recently got a promotion at my job which is huge for me and im v proud of myself!! i'm getting better at not beating myself up for not constantly making things in some way and trying to acknowledge more that rest is part of the creative process too. this last one is a bit silly/indulgent but the new twenty one pilots album is coming out tomorrow and im so so excited, these two white boys are like my equivalent of ppls taylor swift. ive got some lyrics of theirs tattooed on me as well :)

media that inspires my writing - my writing is such a mishmash and can often take such a conversational tone its hard for me to pin down any specific inspo? i know homestuck was definitely a big influence on me, i think especially in its more casual tone of writing. honestly, lately the things that have been most inspiring my writing lately aside from a song here or there has been other writers! im really grateful to be part of such a fun little community and it makes me want to improve my work as well as helps me develop fun ideas i may not have thought of on my own!

I have made further progress on those jeans for my mending series, but I've been busy with some other things so I've been taking my time. Part 3 is coming soon but it's not as big as the other two posts, because in this one the focus is a few small tears throughout the jeans. Then im gonna tackle the huge (kinda intimidating) holes in the knees. I know there's no schedule and I'm working on the jeans whenever I get to it, but I did gain a bunch of followers from that series so i thought I'd give an update <3

Also - I've been sick and dealing with seasonal depression/chronic illness bullshit! But I'm feeling better :) for now at least. I have been going through and fixing/modifying some stuff in my wardrobe lately when i havent been feeling awful so I'm probably gonna post some of the things that I'm the most proud of very soon lol.

Also - I have a dream log. My dreams are extremely vivid and oddly consistent as well as my main creative inspiration so I feel the need to write them all down, and I've been thinking about sharing some of it on this blog. They all take place a large alien planet and there's a lot of weird lore and history and details and stuff like that. Just some interesting world building stuff.

Occlumens- My stubborness and constant need to be right. I grew up in a family that would argue you DOWN about something for hours or even days, but then when they realize you're right, they just shut you out. So now I argue others down to satisfy that part of me that was always told I was wrong. Everyone that's been following me for the long run will probably be like "Oh, yea, I noticed that!" 😂 I'll work on it. One day.
