I just discorvered your blog and whilst I am primarily a choso enjoyer I do think noritoshi is also a really cool character, and I really hope he and choso get a chance for a proper interaction at some point! I'd love to know what your opinion is of choso and how you think he would interact with noritoshi :) also your art is really pretty

[Choso thoughts]

Choso feels like that big brother who's stricter when training/teaching, but lenient when doing literally anything else involving his younger sibs. Although he's wearing a bored expression the entire time, he's actually super happy when around them.

I really like big brother characters so he might climb up my favorites when I see him in action. from that one popular screenshot of him giving Jogo a goofy smirk, I can tell he's got this tiny side of playfulness to him. He can be annoying if he wants to, and he sometimes does that with his brothers. 10/10 guy!

I've seen fanart and some headcanons of Choso, and I can firmly say that he's a green flag. He's the guy who would fix you without trying. HE'S NOT DOING ANYTHING, YOU JUST FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER FOR HIM.. OR SO I HEAR

[Choso + Noritoshi interaction thoughts/headcanons?]

Choso and Noritoshi are like super distant cousins/uncle/nephew right?? They came from the same jujutsu hitler, so Noritoshi is like Choso’s many greats cousin/nephew. Be fr though, if there's someone younger than Choso and is related to him in some way, that's an instant lil sibling of his. WHICH IS WHY, their relationship has two sides to it. (imo)

First up is the teacher/student aspect. 

It's no secret that Noritoshi is weaker compared to Choso, therefore, he'd want to train under him. Choso is a strict teacher, he wants his lil bros to be able to protect themselves if he's unable to be there for them, which is perfect since that's Noritoshi's comfort zone. He wants to hone his abilities to reach or even surpass Choso, so he needs someone who'd nitpick him. 

I can see them sparring, and Noritoshi having an awe struck face every time he gets taken down with a new move Choso has yet to teach him. "How did you do that? You must teach me that next, sensei!"

Choso would probably chortle and lightly nudge Noritoshi with his foot, but internally, he's screaming. Imagine your little brother saw you do something cool, and he's shouting at you to show him how to do it. That's the same feeling Choso would get. Of course, he'd show him eventually, but Noritoshi needs to get the hang of the moves he's tasked with right now before adding more to his plate.

They're both beaming with joy when Noritoshi shows progress. Well- as much as two guys who barely emote can beam. Noritoshi is proud of himself for constantly improving and Choso proud of his lil bro for getting stronger!!!!!!

I imagine they bicker often but when they're in teacher/student mode, they rarely cross each other. Noritoshi knows he's training under a teacher and Choso is teaching his lil bro how to beat ass.

The second half of their relationship is the.. older brother/older(?) brother aspect.

whereas Noritoshi is getting little brother treatment from Choso but doesn't want it and Choso annoys/coddles Noritoshi like the best big brother he is... also my favorite aspect, as shown

Noritoshi is independent. He likes his space and prefers to do things on his own. Because of this he involuntarily became the big brother of Kyoto Tech. People go to him for advice, criticism, help with assignments, and when needing to make a responsible decision, they think, "What would Noritoshi do?" You can say he got comfortable with the role of "big brother." 

So when this new guy comes along who's revealed to be family, Noritoshi deems him as a higher authority. Noritoshi's quick to go back to his old ways of respecting his superiors and it's not that difficult. Choso is older, stronger, experienced, and generally a lot more capable than Noritoshi. However, the downside is that Noritoshi would never grow a close bond with Choso if he kept this up. You can't tell your boss your worries, that's not proper! Choso, knowing this, told Noritoshi to knock off the formalities pretty early on.

I imagine this is the first time they'd ever bicker. Choso tries to get Noritoshi to loosen up a little because they're family, but Noritoshi protests that it's because they're family that he should show extra respect!

Choso probably told Noritoshi to call him brother/uncle or something so they can grow comfortable around each other. Let's be honest, Noritoshi calls his mom "mother," you won't catch him dead calling someone who he currently sees as a superior "brother." They compromise by just using each other’s name without honorifics.

Now that the introductions were out of the way, Noritoshi was now stuck with Choso coddling him. Sure it was nice at first, someone in his family who doesn't yell at him for every mistake he makes and genuinely cares for him, but.. Noritoshi feels… annoyed. Choso reminds Noritoshi of a more tolerable Todo, but he feels like Choso still treats him like Noritoshi needs him. He doesn't need Choso around, but he keeps seeing him everywhere! 

It'd be entertaining to see their dynamic. Noritoshi, the younger brother who doesn't wanna be the younger one and Choso, using that to his advantage to grow close to Noritoshi, by being the annoying older brother. He never takes it too far. just far enough that Noritoshi is saying stuff like “Preposterous!” or “This is slanderous!!” I imagine Noritoshi takes it as a personal defeat when Choso brings him food or treats him to an outing. He allowed himself to get little bro’ed..

Noritoshi would try to take the leadership role again and "big brother" Choso back in a respectful way. Maybe suggesting things he should do. Choso probably lets out breathy laughs and pats Noritoshi's head when he tries this. Then promptly goes back to doing whatever he was doing. Choso sees this as "my little brother scolding me for something." Another defeat for Noritoshi..

I can see these two bickering about the smallest things. And by bickering, I mean Choso annoying Noritoshi because he wants to take care of his little bro!!! and Noritoshi getting upset because he's not!!! little!!! he can do it himself!!!

I feel like Choso and Noritoshi would get comfortable with this though...

Choso would get a side of Noritoshi he doesn't often give to most people. They have a special bond that unites them both. Whether it be their cursed techniques or their similar childhoods or some other third option, they stick by each other. The same is true for Noritoshi, he finally has someone that cares about him and not his status. While yes, Choso can be annoying at times, Noritoshi is growing used to having him around. It would seem too quiet if Choso wasn't making him annoyed in some way.. 

of course, they'd have their calm moments. Having siblings is both a hurricane and shallow waters.

These two are stoic fucks, so I can see them communicating wordlessly. The full fucking package like nodding, shoulder shrugs, huffs, BLINKS, you fucking name it and they just had an entire conversation. They say they make it obvious on their faces, but literally, no one can tell. Some people (Arata) think they speak telepathically..........

I hinted at it in the little doodle above, but Choso would probably help Noritoshi with calligraphy. Choso is OLD so he's got to have seen some old old Japanese cursive... He'd use his knowledge to help Noritoshi improve!!!

The whole thing with Choso cooking for Noritoshi.. Its what older siblings do to coax their younger sibs out of their shell. Who doesn't like free food? Choso learns pretty quick from what i've seen and with coffee being Noritoshi’s favorite drink, he's using that.

Noritoshi: I never agreed to this

Choso: don’t forget your jacket, it could get cold.

And then they go.

Noritoshi enjoys company if it doesn't bother him. So if Choso walked into his room and sat down to do something quietly, Noritoshi wouldn't bat an eye. and That's how they hang out sometimes, just in the same room and they both have a blast.

this one is just me fucking around but I can see Choso asking for advice on how to approach Noritoshi like a father asking how to approach his teen kid. Noritoshi is similar, but he's asking why this guy is doting on him and being annoying. They ask around because I doubt either of them know how to use a phone. Noritoshi is old-fashioned while Choso is just old.

hmm... I can't decide whether Choso would use Noritoshi's name more often to attach the name to a better person or give Noritoshi a nickname to avoid using it....... I want to lean into the former but hmm......

I would like for you to know this post sent me down a fucking rabbit hole. ANYWAY SO

Skizzleman as a hybrid of the Love Golem from the Love and Hugs update

ramble time. under the cut

to my knowledge I have watched a total of one (1) skizz video, and that was a last life episode i watched for this drawing as research™️ and background entertainment. So beyond what I've seen of him in other POVs of the Life Series and Phasmophobia, and watching his runs during the decked out special, I know nothing about this man.

THAT SAID, I saw this post and I was like "wow i've never drawn skizz before. I've never thought about him being a hybrid, I've always seen him as Just A Guy. why do so many people draw him as an angel anyway?" so i looked it up and all i could find was it being meant as an opposite to impulse?

Which is cool! I love angels and demons, and my Impulse is a demon. But I didn't just want to base it off of that, personally!! especially not after I saw the awesome designs galaxygerm shared (the ender and creeper skizz). Idk angels just didn't feel like the correct vibes to me, though i love seeing it in other people's art and headcanons.

I also found some versions of him as a demon or fallen angel which, again, fucking awesome!! but not the right vibes for my version.

But like, in my headcanons he was always just human and that's boring for something like this post, so I felt like there wasn't anything interesting to share here. I wanted to come up with something more interesting, some hybrid concept or something, not based off of fanon but based off of what i knew about him!! Which is mostly secret life and phasmo (via Tango and Impulse's POVs), so not a ton. I considered making him an ender hybrid too, but I already have a farlander enderman Mumbo, whose helsmit and fallsmit counterparts are equally enderman hybrids. And whatever joehills' hels ends up being called, he's caught an end-based disease/curse as well. So I felt like I already had plenty of ender stuff in my headcanons, even if given some of the shenanigans in the life series it would make sense.

So next stop was mob lists. I thought about what Skizz is like, and given how generally nice he is I ended up looking up a list of passive and neutral mobs. There I stumbled across the "love golem". Read through the page and it's from one of the April Fools updates, and just,,,, look at it. it's kinda ugly but it just,, fits skizz!! look at that heart!! my brain immediately just went to the heart foundation, and also just Skizzleman being Skizzleman.

ANYHOW. Started making it. Had a breakdown. Bon appetite. /lh /ref

i'm loving seeing you post more of your art!! out of curiosity, how long have you been drawing? is there anything specific you do to practice or do you just pick something and draw it? (i've been trying to learn to draw myself for the past year or so, and seeing your art more often has become somewhat of an inspiration for me!)

ive been doodling all my life! thought when i say "doodle" i mean "as an unmedicated youth i was unable to focus on a drawing for more than 45 minutes at a time"

here's some posts from an art blog i had in middle school, and the first year of highschool.

what most critically separates this art from the art ive been doing recently is that i NEVER used any refrence. ever. i looked at stuff to make sure i knew what it looked like, but the rest was always roughly estimated based on what i thought would look good (which was largely based on cartoons).

but i only ever started trying to "learn how to draw" over the past year. here's the thing: spending a bunch of hours practicing drawing cubes and cylinders is like. all you have to do to see yourself start improving in real time.

draw a bunch of cubes and cylinders, and learn how to make them look realistic in proportion to each other using references to guide you. practice drawing stuff like basic buildings, cans of soda, maybe a cake (3 short fat cylinders on top of each other) if you're feeling daring. then try to draw slightly more complicated shapes, like spheres and cones and stuff. layer these shapes on top of each other to make more complicated shapes. you're gettin the picture.

infuriatingly, basic shapes is like 40% of the "getting it to click" work done.

after than, move on to 30 second sketches of nude models using this site. yeah, only 30 seconds. it doesnt matter if it comes out looking like shit, the point is learning how to simplify complicated shapes down into their most basic lines. dont waste time erasing. dont waste time pressing ctrl-z. erasing is your enemy. you arent learning how to erase, you're learning how to draw. (you'll get your eraser back later).

do this hundreds of times. yeah, hundreds. put on a podcast or something. get in a voice call with your friends. but ya gotta practice this one. that's the next 20% of making it "click".

now, unfortunately, the last 40% is just a matter of slamming your head against the wall of art until things slowly start to look better and better. it's sort of like a chemical formula, in that the closer you get to 100% purity, the more and more difficult it becomes to distill it.

the key is to ALWAYS use reference. you cannot learn how to realistically draw something you've conjured from your mind if you cannot depict something that's right in front of you realistically.

im currently in this valley, as most artists are. in fact i dont think it's possible to make art "click" in your mind 100%, but it sure is fun to inch closer and closer!

below is a bunch of art in chronological order from april to now. you'll see that it's not really a straight road of getting better and better, but you'll see my lines slowly getting more confident and details becoming more clearly defined!

“Can you please pass me the cheese doodles?” 

“Cheese doodles? You mean cheese puffs?” 

“Do not scold me on words, cara/o.” 

You scoff incredulously, smiling to yourself. “Y’know, I get mad when you call yourself old, but you’re really showing your age with the usage of cheese doodle.” You lean over, grabbing the large tub of cheese puffs you had managed to snatch earlier from the dining hall. Usually you had to bring it back to the kitchens by morning, but Copia had some privileges. Such privileges included regular use of Clergy cars, first pick of seating at Black Mass, and apparently all the cheese puffs you wanted. You used to wonder just how he managed to get all of his Juicy Juices. The answer was that nobody had the guts to stop Papa from raiding the snack cabinets.

You hold the tub to your side, popping off the lid and setting in on the coffee table. Copia was currently leaning against you, his head against your tucked in knees. His hand was around your leg, petting it absentmindedly. His hands were degloved, though you couldn’t tell much of a difference through the lounge pants you had on, as well as the throw blanket tossed over your legs. Copia’s room tended to run cold, even during the winter. 

You lean over, turning over to see him lift his head up and look up at you. He had taken off his paints, the only hint of them ever being there was the small amount of black that had collected in the inner points of his eyes. His lips have a faint glossy sheen, the lip balm you had given him as a gift surely working its magic. Your hands dip into the tub and pull one brilliantly crunchy puff, retreating out of the tub and remaining pinned between your pointer finger and thumb. 

Copia looks at you, his head laid against your knee. His mouth opens, his hand leaving your leg and pointing towards his mouth. “Here, please. Thank you.” He says quietly, his tone teasing. 

You pull your hand back away from him slightly, cheese ball still between your fingers. “Didn’t you just brush your teeth before we started the movie?” Right now the two of you are watching Jaws, the heat of summer making you both yearn for a good summer spook. While you have been paying some attention, the both of you had been inclined to spend this time luxuriating in the quiet of Copia’s room. While it hadn’t been the most busy week, the days seemed to move slower than molasses in the blistering heat. Every minute of this week had drug on, leaving you with a deep exhaustion that only a night with your lovely Papa can cure. 

“Yes, I did, but now I am wanting a cheese doodle. I can just brush them again.” He shrugged, a small grin lighting up his face. You can’t help but notice just how deep the circles are under his eyes in the glow of the tv screen. 

You hum, trying to hide the smile desperately attempting to make itself known. “Is it safe to brush your teeth twice in one night? Won’t you get, like, fluoride poisoning?”

He frowns, a contemplative look passing over his eyes. “Hmm, I am not so sure. Maybe if I swallow my toothpaste?” 

You purse your lips questioningly, dangling the cheese ball over him. “And do you do that?” 

He scoffs, his lips turning up into a small smile, clearly satisfied with where this is going. “Nope, I have not done this. Maybe as a kid, I remember the bubblegum one was enjoyable.” 

You chuckle and mercifully decide to take pity on him, and the cheese ball descends, quickly popping into Copia’s mouth with a resounding crunch. He swallows quickly, his body rising from your knee to look at you at face level. “Hm, thank you cara. I am thinking that Papa needs more, will you give me another one please?” 

You giggle, meeting his gaze with an exaggerated look of surprise. “You’re going to turn into a cheese puff yourself at this rate.” 

Copia chuckles, leaning in and pressing a kiss to your cheek, his lips soft and slightly sticky against your skin. While distracted by his sweet gesture, his hands come to grasp around your hips, pulling you towards him on the couch. His kisses continue, pressed slowly against your face. 

“I can be a cheese puff, I do not care about this. Would you eat me?” He whispers softly, his arms finally holding you around your middle. You giggle, no longer being able to ignore the feathery kisses that are quite honestly, starting to tickle you in the most pleasant way. 

“Is this some weird roleplay?” You whisper back, feeling his lips curl into a grin against the skin of your neck. You start to relax into his arms, his skin warm against where your sweatshirt has ridden up. He sighs, hot puffs of warmth into your deliciously soft skin. 

“Eh, maybe. I would not want to be a cheese doodle, maybe an Oreo. The makeup, si?” He says plainly, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. 

You can’t hold in the laugh that bubbles up in your chest, and neither can he. You relax against the shoulder of the couch, Copia falling onto your stomach with a small puff of air. You raise your hands, running them through the brown and silver that captivates you every day. It’s getting a bit long, you notice, and make a note to yourself to ask if he wants to schedule an appointment with his hairstylist. But for now you’ll enjoy the way the softness of it feels against your palms.

Copia sighs, and his shoulders relax at your kind touch. He would not give this up, not for anything. The feeling of your body against his is a balm to his heart, the thing he looks forward to curling up against at the end of the day. He doesn’t want to remember a time before he had heard your jokes, the way you giggle against his neck, the way you say his name so sweetly. 

“You are so soft.” He mumbles, his cheek nestled against your stomach. 

You smile, the feeling of absolute adoration you can never avoid when you’re with him making itself known. “And you’re sweet.” You whisper. You watch his eyes go from half lidded to closed, his eyelids flickering at the lights of the TV screen. Jaws has been long forgotten, Quint is hanging halfway out of the shark's jaws in a lifeless heap as it slides back into the deep. 

Your hands gingerly leave his hair, where they let the tub sit on the ground, not caring about the lid. You can feel yourself slip into the sleep you’ve desperately needed, the warm weight of Copia pulling you away from reality. Your hands return, relocating to his shoulders and resting there. His breath has evened out to nasally snores, soft wheezy rasps that surprisingly have never bothered you, only endeared him further to you. 

“Love you.” You whisper, your eyes slipping closed as the movie continues, Copia does not respond, but the way his arms wrap around your middle so softly and the way his cheek presses further into your tummy only makes your heart clench in a way you’ve only ever felt for him, and will remain so.

UPP OC BACKSTORY AND STUFF TIME!!! (plus occasional doodles)

plenty of this is spitballing, so i haven't fully cemented anything. it's all a bunch of yapping, so I'll put a tldr at the bottom to explain it in simpler terms lol. anyways,,,

Oakley moved to Deadwood when she was about 12. Right before the beginning of her 7th grade year. I feel like she definitely went down the fnaf to ghost hunting pipeline. I don't even know if that's a real pipeline, but it was for me. So she basically knew all the terms and stuff.

from what i can tell, upp was just a bunch of kids that liked ghost hunting, though ive seen the idea of all the kids in upp having ghost themed powers, kinda like wiwis but not as,,, wiwi. ill talk more about it later.

Despite knowing a bit about ghost hunting, Oakley would never have done it before. She lived in a highly populated area, not too far from the coast and one of Prime's big cities (I'm thinking near new haven, but NH might not be on the coast). There weren't any super old buildings in bike-riding distance for Oakley to explore. Plus one big thing with ghost hunting is that you dont! go! alone! (i'm really really tempted to make a post on how will maybe did this and it lead to him falling off a cliff. idk). Anyways, she's very skeptical of the actual existence of ghosts. This is one of the times I'm pulling out of my own life for that. If you've ever watched Buzzfeed Unsolved, she's Shane. She does think ghost hunting is very cool, however. (it makes sense to me, as a person who is a skeptic irl)

As I said earlier, she moved right before the beginning of 7th grade. She moved with her mom to live with her nana. There's a couple reasons for this. 1) Ol' nana silvia was up there in age, her mom wanted to keep an eye on her an all that. 2) If you can imagine, rent prices right outside of New Haven are expensive as fuck. And nothing beats the 2 acre backyard that Oakley's mother, Mae, grew up with. Like,,, sure the place was a little freaky, but that's most old places anyways.

So they move. Oakley is lowkey highkey pissed about the move. She understands, mostly, but she *really* doesn't want to move, obviously. Aside from the fact that she'd be leaving her friends behind, she's been on plenty of trips to Deadwood. That place is freaky. Mae convinces her that it's not really that bad, the house is old, it just needs some renovating.

obviously thats not the case. oakley continues being pretty much oblivious to the ghosts, blaming it on some weird noises or something until she finally comes face to face with one.

for my ideas on the whole ghost sight stuff. I like the idea that being able to see ghosts, even a little bit, is somewhat common in Deadwood. an idea i thought was funny is that Oakley could just,,, hear the ghosts *really* well. hence why she can be such a skeptic while everyone else is like "WHAT THE FUCK IS THTATTTTTT". otherwise, her being a ghost beacon would be really funny. like she walks in a room and the ghosts in said room are able to interact with people/objects or talk more. finally, she could just have normal sight idk.

Around the current point in PD, she's just graduated high school. I think she ended up staying in town for one reason or another. I have a few ideas. I think by the time she graduated, she still didn't fully know what she wanted to do, hence why she stayed home. She's currently 19 ish, taking college courses online while she keeps and eye on her mother and the nearby ghosts. She probably still hangs around the upp who stayed around. Probably will come up with more stuff in the future.

OTHER STUFF: -She skateboards, though Deadwood is a lot of gravel roads, so it's kind of difficult -draws a bunch. if you didn't see my other post about her, she draws on her pants and whatnot. -she paints her nails on occasion before forgetting about them and letting them chip before she repaints them months later -she was that kid that always said "im leaving this town right after i graduate." (me core) -indecisive as hell -can be pretty sarcastic, to the point it gets annoying sometimes. she tones it down as she gets older.

TLDR: Girl with ghost sight moves to live with her grandma in 7th grade, realizes she has some sort of ghost sight, shenanigans ensue.

the girly ever!! one of my favourite characters that ive made for fates twine!! probably the most drawn besides mara and jootrena (who i havent shown yet but holy shit im excited to i love her)

shes mara's little sister!! (for context mara is fates twines lamb) she wont be showing up for a bit, but im. so hyped for when she does.

i took all the drawings ive ever done of her, put them on one canvas, and updated the designs to her most recent design!! (so if some of the poses seem a bit stiff, thats why. a lot of these are older doodles that i updated)

theres a bit too many drawings here to put them all down individually, BUT there was a fun accident that happened while i was trying to make this, and it looks kind of cool so i wanted to add it here

obviously i didnt fix all the gaps cuz i wasnt going for lineless, but i think it looks kind of pretty regardless

these vary in recent-ness,, im in school and im left with very little time to draw, so some of these are from a month or two ago ;; but i only picked what i think still looks good ^^ some are quick doodles, others are unfinished, or even just drawings to test techniques (like the colored shinichi one)- and the second drawing isnt even detco LMAO

the 3rd and 7th doodles are from my project sekai au, thats an explanation for a different post,, and the last 2 are APTX!Heiji doodles !! the last ones part of a mini comic i made a bit back about him first waking up shrunk, which i can make a post with the whole thing later (maybe- it looks a little wonky)

This was probably the most autistic thing I've ever done hahaha; I am glad that you liked it!! This is still not all characters I indended to draw, though.. For example, the two Witches of Hemwick before their advanced old hags state, Fort or the first Hunter of Hunters were not featured! I just got tired (yes, this is possible). But I love all of them..

Turned out that I've made a mistake with Yharnam Hunter of Despair, and he does actually use the default face data! What I confused for grey hair was actually piece of clothing 💀 Well, I've altered his look compared to what I used as a base enough for him to be unique.... but still, scrap the justification for this design :p

Anyways thank you for the nice words!! I love your art style too, you have a very good way to depict unique facial features of the characters I admired from the very start! During drawing Eli and Micolash I was impressed by the effort you've put to make their faces distinguishable! I strongly recommend doing extensive face data and models study on your own, it really helps to build your own way of drawing the characters! I hope I'll do the same exercise with Elden Ring and Dark Souls characters eventually, but this will be hard x)

umbrella - i assume this doesnt need an answer for both of them, bcuz they belong 2 the same story. i imagine ian and rammys story being a vidya game, and i guess itd b a psychological horror? which feels like, pretentious to say but the main scaries of the story are how much ians life sucks and he wants 2 die. so... i think itd count. thats all overarching stuff tho... most of ian n rammys time spent together is lightheared, i think. theyre two dudes hanging out and one of them is slowly coming to terms with the fact his suicidal thoughts won. whatever genre that is

pencil - WAHHH it depends a lot of the time... ian and rammy have definitely made a big resurgence in my brain recently (past month) bc im 18 and can post bout em, but also just cuz i love them sooo much and want to chew on them constantly. id say i write abt/draw them pretty frequently tho!! i doodle them on my school work and in notebooks a lot and they have some of the bigger galleries on my toyhouse lawl. i dont write much directly for their universe, but ive typed... many paragraphs to my friends just braindumping the shit i think about them. so, yeah, less often than id like, but theyre up there in my priorities of ocs :3

apple (for ian) - GRAHHHHHHHHHHH u dont know what demons uve unleashed w this. i already twed this post for suicide but im gonna move this part under the cut bc mentioning ians dad specifically ties a lot into the suicide aspect of the story

OKAY SO. ians family consists of his mom, sister, and him. his dad was in the picture when he was a little kid, like early elementary age, but ditched after some time. his relationship with both parents was relatively normal, they definitely couldve done a better job raising him, but they were never intentionally hurtful nor did they scar him at all. (well, correction, his MOM didnt scar him at all)

after ians dad left, though, his side of the family still kept in touch... they gave very flimsy reasonings for his fathers absence, why he couldnt make it to holidays, why he wasnt saying all these things directly, etc. it kept things strained and tense as the family knew things were being kept from them but never got to know why. the last interaction ian ever had w his dads side of the family was on his 18th birthday, where his uncle gifted him a silver handgun with his name carved into the handle. it was a hollow attempt to connect with ian, a display of violent masculinity that ian would later use to try and take his own life.

i dont have it fully figured out what this *means* for ians character, but its something i go insane about. ians only memories of his dad are him doing stereotypical masculine dad things w him, like fishing. maybe he didnt interact w ian ass if he was his child, but if he was his son, and that improper socialization is part of the reason he hates himself- why the gun is what kills him. but... i dunno really. ians social anxiety, addiction, and general collapsing in on himself are cuz of a life time of mental illness that went unchecked until he successfully isolated himself to the point no one *could* care, not just cuz daddy give him gun.

okay! that is NOT what u asked at all but now u know it. hehehe. of course ian and rammys story is a big wip forever so excuse me for any side tangents and/or general plot points w loose ends

but! as for his actual relationships w family (ill include sister since his relationship w mom isnt rlly fleshed out yet):

he and his mom havent spoken in 6 years, nor have he and his sister. he slowly faded out of their lives when he moved away, partly out of a subconscious desire to isolate and partly due to just not having the social confidence or energy to maintain regular communication w his family. his mom is the first person he talks to when he escapes his Puter, and she's his rock in his remaining months of recovery. shes very underdeveloped as a character atm, but what is certain is she tries her hardest to understand her sons struggles and support him, offering to pay for therapy for him. ian loves his mommy lalala

ian and his sister are... dddifferent. ian also had an average relationship w his sister, but shes a lot more upfront with him when it comes to talking about how his 6 year absence effected her than their mom. their mom, while wanting her children to seek help for their respective struggles, doesnt really want to actively talk about those things with them. shes terrified of saying the wrong thing, and it doesnt help that she doesnt even have a clue what *to* say. ians sister, though, isnt afraid to tell him "hey man we fucking missed you. your absence hurt a lot because i didnt have any friends either, and i wish we couldve had eachother. jackass" post main-story they are friendly and hang out. during his time w rammy, ian does talk about his thoughts on his sister before he left, that being that shes a "crazy bitch"... family <3

technically the last thing i drew was what my newly-organized sock drawer looks like but that was in my diary so im choosing not to count it. instead heres this scene from a dream that i drew earlier that same day

no they have never met. also ive only spoken to that kid two times. it was a weird almost-nightmare that had a consistent theme/fear which is very strange for my dreams (the theme was not being given a choice about doing things i didnt want to do/seriously stressed me out) and youll never guess what happened later that day that seriously stressed me out (i was forced to do something i really didnt want to do and had a Meltdown.)

2. what’s your favorite thing about your style

this is a tough one. i really like a lot of things about my style.

i like how i do tall pupils with round irises a lot i swear ive done it digitally before but i just cant seem to find any drawings ??

i like how i let my drawings be silly and expressive and i let myself draw things that arent the best most anatomically correct thing ever

but most of all. i like how all my art looks like it was drawn by me and how each part of it kind of tells you something about myself :3

2. a piece from this year that you’re really proud of

ive only made like two finished drawings so far this year and one of them is only "technically done" lol. so

ill be honest the second drawing i made this year looks..a lot more Impressive than this one but i still really like it :3 i think i did a good job on the colours and composition. aside from the flashlight. whats that thang doing over there. this drawing almost looks like itd be on a trading card for a trading card game

Animagus Fox Sebastian Doodles

As I seen before with other people's headcanons from @cursedonyx's post as to why Sebastian's animagus form would be a fox to @tamayula-hl's awesome drawing of fox!Sebastian, I couldn't help but do some doodles of Fox!Sebastian.

Featuring my MC, Iñaki Marquez Cariaga (or MC for short since she gets tired of people using her full double last name lol) and my head cannon how he felt about having a fox as an animagus form.

MC: Come On Sebastian! What are you so mad about? You're finally an Animagus!

(Also I was too lazy to color in my MC, but she's a brown Type IV skin tone on The Fitzpatrick Scale)

Originally when Sebastian shifted to his animagus form, he disliked his animagus fox form. Unlike a true red fox, Sebastian's fox fur has more of a brownish tint but it's still red enough to fool those who don't know his fox form. He also has black spotted fur where his freckles would be, but again most people would write it off if they didn't know what they were looking for.

After holding that mandrake leaf under his tongue and making a potion out of it under the supervision of Natty, he was finally able to become an animagus like Natty and MC.

However when Sebastian shifted to his animagus form, he was rather surprised at how small he was compared to the animal forms Natty (gazelle) and MC (jaguar) had. In comparisons to their forms, he felt that his own animagus form was lame and boring as he looked at himself in the compact mirror MC used to have Sebastian look at his animagus-self.

Sebastian: What's wrong? You want to know what's wrong? I got the most common animal seen in all of Britain! I'm a fox. That's my problem 😤

He wasn't a big fan of his animagus form.

At least until MC reminded him how useful his form could be since he's just an everyday fauna native to the UK unlike hers or Natty's animagus form. Since then, Sebastian has lived up to his animagus form's mischievous reputation, being able to sneak around the castle freely without any issues since it's isn't uncommon to see foxes nearby Hogwarts.

Sebastian soon learned to love his form, getting into all sorts of mishaps and out of it like a real cunning and adaptive fox.

if you ever see a fox on MC's lap out on Hogwarts grounds, she will lie and say it's just a friendly fox she befriended while petting the grinning purring fox 🦊. (Apparently foxes can purr as seen here, here and here. I didn't know that till recently 😲)

If you asked her what she named the fox, she's say Zorro in a panic, since it literally means fox in Spanish and also because of the Zorro vigilante character MC introduced to Sebastian earlier that day.

Sebastian ends up liking that name and keeps it for his fox form.

Anyhow, here's fox!Sebastian resting after a long afternoon of being mischievous. He probably feels pleased with himself after burying Leander's wand he stole and got belly rubs from MC who is unaware of what he just had done. Now he's napping.

(And Yes I know Iñaki is a boy's name in the Spanish speaking world, 🙄😒 but I liked the name for her. Besides Anglophones will probably see the letter "i" at the end of a name and assume it's a girl's name like Nikki, Rikki and any variants of it 😅😂🤣

MC underwent a different process to become an animagus back in the Americas where's she's from; one day I'll write a story about her if I ever feel up for it...

...just know that if I ever write about my MC it will more so be of an AU of Hogwarts Legacy that takes place during the late 2000's cause I wanted to see how the cast will react to muggle I mean nomaj technology MC introduces them to when this Yankee ends up transferring to Hogwarts due to her dad's job. Unfortunately for MC, her family was also a victim of layoffs right before the Great Recession officially started. Luckily for her family, her dad got a job but they all had to move to London.

And MC will definitely sing or play "The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?)" song to annoy Sebastian to no ends after it comes out in 2013 and has it as her ringtone for him when he calls her on her cell phone since then🤣)

(I like to think that the UK is more behind or...really against on merging magic with muggle tech which is already super popular in Japan/China/Korea, popular in the Americas and other countries as well. It's not as popular in Europe, at least within the purebloods, but you can see some muggleborns and half-bloods trying to import/make it and using it if they are able to get it. 😅)

big long rant abt how happy i am rn but its LONG ^_^

holy shit . its a sunday evening and im somehow SO FUCKING HAPPY. like. nnothing even HAPPENED today i just had A GOOD DAY IN GENERAL this is incredible. like. i watched a nice tv episode and saw a funny video and played some minecraft and hollow knight and watched a fuckin crazy jrwi episode and woke up before the sun and felt the wind and watched the sun and heard the birds and. man. and tomorrow i know i have school and thats not even ruining my mood at all. because i have history. and my history teacher is nice. and he wont mind that i havent done any of the work because he gets it. and he explains things in interesting ways and hes kind and he never shouts and its the only class i not only feel comfortable asking questions, but where i WANT to ask questions because hes NICE about questions and i usually probably wouldnt care abt the shit were learning abt but he tells it like its actually REAL and not just a sheet of information. and im just happy. and whilst i didnt finish my codeflippa drawing like i hoped i would, i think ive come to terms w the fact i dont think i wanna ever Finish it, bc my creativity for it died down. i think ill just surround it in a few more flippa doodles n then post it bc ITSF FINE !!!! man. and like. i think ive remembered how it felt to be 5 again. when everything was SO EXCITING and i had no worries about the future because the only thing that EXISTED was here and now. and the world WAS big and scary but it was also incredible and interesting and full of light and colour and. like right now i can smell dinner cooking and for once im taking a moment to feel excited about that. because YES dinner happens everyday but !!! isnt it great that theres gonna be food soon !!!!!! and ill be able to eat it and i hope its smth i like. my sense of smell DID get fucked up 2 years ago BUT THAT ONLY MEANS DINNERS EVEN MORE OF A SURPRISE !!! it smells vaguely of HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT IT SMELLS LIKE THAT ONE CHICKEN DISH I HAD A LOT LIKE 5 YEARS AGO it most likely isnt that but ica nt belive i remember what that smells like . and like !!!! right now im listening tot he celeste soundtrack AND ITS SO GOOD !!!!!!! and MUSIC SOUNDS SO GOOD !!!!! and i played minecraft today and i tamed a dog called. smth. i havent named it yet. and a cat named smth toast related bc i was rlly hungry 4 toast and then i saw it. and i found out there r 3 seperate villages all really close to my base and i built a farm with potatoes and carrots and wheat and i mined for ages and realised my sense of direction in minecraft maybe isnt as bad as i thought it was because i spent like 2 hours in a cave and got utterly lost, but still knew which way west was. and i played a little hollow knight and didnt do too much but got across greenpath because i started a new save yesterday where i did all of crossroads. and if i play more hk later im gonna complete greenpath (or atleast what u can do b4 any other areas). and i saw my cat this morning !!!! and he was so friendly and he went meow meow meow and i went meow meow meow. and i just watched the new DW episode and !!!!! it was rlly good !!!!! ofCOURSEit had its moments of :/ BUT THAT DW FOR U IT ALWAYS HAS ITS :/ MOMENTS but it was SO good !!!!!!! and i love life sm rn and i can hum along to celeste music and my room is a good temperature and. my face ghurts bc ive been smilng so much. but im happy ^_^ and who knows how ill feel later tonight but what matters is that RIGHT NOW i m so in love witht he world :3

2. I love how you portray Anya and Dima, in both your art and your fics. Your stuff is part of the reason I like them, and also their side of the PAFL story more than before.

3. Your fics are so good. You’re scary good at, like, gory ones too, like with Divergence and the one where Sanya beats you up(sorry, forgot the name). Those two fics made me feel exactly where my heart was and made me feel the bile in my stomach. I mean this in a good way. 👍🏽

4. I think this is the last thing. Also, first reason for me wanting to send this ask. I saw the alík x sanya playlist and thought “hey that’s sick as hell, lemme like that.” First thing is, are you okay with that? Can I have the playlist in my library? And second, on a funnier note, I made a playlist filled with songs that made me think of sapphic longing, and it was unintentionally very similar to the alík x sanya playlist.
