...some long ass timebomb prompt based on a music video I watched before
The video in question is "Dreamgirl - Teenage Blues" which features the movie "Postma blues" where I loosely based this stupid prompt...
youtube
This is like...a super looooooong read, so ignore if you're not into it lol. I dont know how to write a fic, only prompts 💀🔫
Ok so like this written a long time ago in the server but no one rlly got it nor paid attention to it 😭 It's set in modern au, but it's more dreary and polluted bc of the factories
Ekko is an upcoming college student and a part time postman for more income bc his parents arent making a lot from working at the factory.
One day while he was on duty, he came across an unnamed package dropped by a man in black coat. Out of curiosity and suspicion, he opened it and found a pound of shimmer dust that can be dissolved, and a small business card own by Silco. He panicked and tried to diapose of it but got enforcers' attention when he was under the bridge.
While being interrogated at the station, several strange men came in and one of them was the man in black coat. He sees that they are in kahoots with the police, so he made an escape and ran as fast as he could until he was in the outskirts of town. He ended up in an old hospital that is barely abundant of patients. Assuming theres no one residing in one of the rooms, he got inside from the window and hid there...until his head got smacked from the back
It wasnt long until he was conscious again and found himself lying perpendicularly at the edge of the bed with someone sitting from his side where the pillow is. He was greeted by a blue haired girl dressed in a hospital gown and introduced herself as "Jinx". Jinx has been a patient ever since she and her sister got separated after a house fire then eventually got adopted. Ekko recognizes her as his classmate back in early middle school but stopped going to classes and no one noticed.
When he told her why he was hiding from something, Jinx made a deal with him that after she helps him hide from the police, he gets to take her outside for funsies. Having no other choice, he accepts. After barely escaping the hospital once the police got there, they headed to Piltover for sightseeing. Ekko toured her in the city and had fun as promised.
According to Ekko, she's a menace but is nice when shown kindness.
They eventually initiated a truth or dare game while looking down at the city from the sky tower, but got disappointed when Ekko kept choosing truth. When she asked what he wanted to do in the future, he said he wanted to graduate college so he can help the city of its pollution problem and air quality that keeps affecting his mother's lungs.
Jinx was moved by Ekko's answer and eventually confessed that she rarely got to go outside because of her heart condition and that she was deliberately putting traces of drugs in her food and medicine so her father would pay more attention to her whenever she's in need. He asked who is her father and she answered "someone who runs a drug cartel. His name is Silco." Ekko, shock at her answer, questions why she didnt try to escape.
Jinx: "I don't want to be alone. I had no one."
Ekko: "...do you feel alone right now?"
Jinx: "not as I used to be...and I'm glad."
Just before they can head back down, Jinx lost her balance bc of her weak health but Ekko caught her in time before she could hit the floor. Not wanting to upset her, Ekko joked that the floor underneath them was probably loose and they were being clumsy. He held her and began swaying with her in his arms, pretending they were dancing. Jinx cries knowing that her time would end soon and Ekko is only trying to cheer her up, brushing that worry away. She kissed him as thanks. He wrapped his scarf around her to protect her from cold as they head out
On their way back they were spotted several enforcers that were looking for them, presumably bribed by Silco. Ekko suggested it's probably best to stay at his apartment until the road is clear. Jinx enjoyed her stay and his company, entertained by his stories and his future plans on science and engineering which is something they have in common. She felt envy, but more pain from the thought of never being able to see him accomplish those dreams of his. Ekko told her he'll check up on her whenever he can after all of this is over.
Jinx confessed again that she was the one who accidentally caught their house on fire before, and that's why she called herself 'jinx'. Ekko realizes her real name was Powder and remembers that he had a crush on her back then, but never got a chance to confess. He said that she didnt do it on purpose and she shouldnt bare that burden for so long.
Before they can kiss again, Ekko's mom entered. She warmly welcomed her before Ekko could explain the situation (she wanted his son to find a partner so he wouldn't be alone lmao, plus she's sweet towards Jinx)
The next day, Ekko saw the cops entering the building of their apartment. Him and Jinx hurried again to escape, but they barely got away when they were cornered at the bridge. Jinx suggested they'd jump, but Ekko refused saying it was too dangerous for her. She hugged him and eventually pushed Ekko off before the police got to him, letting him escape while having Silco's men escort her back to the hospital for her treatment. The police couldnt find his body and assumed he was dead
4years later, Ekko was found to be residing at a different location far from the two cities. He eventually got himself another part time job that was enough to sustain him and for his college funds. Being an assistant to a professor allowed him to start plans to improve his old hometown.
When he got back and assumed no one was looking for him anymore now that Silco was pronounced dead, he returned to his parent's apartment. Turns out, Jinx told him to hold his breath before she could push him while hugging on the bridge. His mom told him he had several letters from his old friend waiting for him. Her letters consists of longing, greeting, concerns, and wishes of seeing him again and his stupid postman hat as she calls it. She wrote that she knows he's going to come back...and he did
Ekko decides to visit the old hospital and asked the remaining staff about Jinx, but it turns out that she died two years ago. He also heard that her 'father' supposedly died a year after Ekko escaped the city, supposedly at the hands of opposing party.
He reads the last letter from the parcel signed by her that was left at the hospital and it said she wanted to help him one day but at the rate of her condition, she can't stay to even see him achieve his dreams. He also found a small handmade monkey plush and bundle cash in the box with a note saying:
"I wont be needing this to where I'll go, so won't you be sweet enough to use this for good? It aint exactly a clean money given it's from my dad, but it's a start. You're too good boy savior, I wish I could see you again but that's a dream I won't be able to reach.
I love you so much. Thank you for everything. You made my life worthwhile."
Few years forward, Ekko enters a company with blueprints at hand containing plans for improved water filtration system for the city. He wore the monkey plush on his waist saying "its for good luck".
This is for you @starry-nights12 because you make fanfics for me and I havent given you anything...not that this is on par but like I tried outside of art HAHAHAHAHAHHA. Anyway enjoy 😭💝🔫

In the beginning of The Good Place, Michael doesn't know that no one has gotten into the Good Place in over 500 years. Arguably he doesn't know every single person who got into the Bad Place, or he would have figured out EVERYONE is there, but it's so funny to me when Eleanor asks who is in the Bad Place that would surprise her and without hesitation, Michael tells her "every US president except Lincoln," which implies he's either straight lying to her (in a situation where he's trying to convince her this is real, saying Lincoln is in the Bad Place might give it away? Saying he is in the good place makes it more believable? He had to pick one (1) person to exclude to make the rest believable and chose Lincoln?), or he doesn't THINK he's lying to her. The latter is infinitely funnier to me. He's either never seen Lincoln, or Lincoln isn't in the Bad Place.
And I can't tell which is funnier: that he did indeed go to the Bad Place but escaped, or that he went to the Good Place, but there's no record of it. No one knows where he is, just that he's not in their place.
That, or he never died.

Shazam identity reveal AU where the league knew Captain Marvel was a child named Billy since day one but he stubbornly refuses to transform or tell his full name for the whole 4 years he’s been on the team and everyone’s so confused because they know like. 95% of his identity already why is he hiding this specific part?
They start thinking he’s some kind of criminal or had a dark past he’s hiding from them. They know so much about him, though. They know he’s homeless, they know he’s had bad foster homes, they know his parents died tragically and his uncle stole his inheritance. he shares everything. Everything except the one thing that would show he truly trusts them. Why? What have they done to convince him they weren’t trustworthy?
Then. He accidentally transforms back during a battle. Batman instantly scans his face with the facial scanner that’s built into his mask because he’s paranoid as hell of course he has one of those. And he sees exactly why he hid it for so long.
The tension in the air is so palpable that the entire league feels it and they look back and forth between them waiting for the bomb to drop.
Cyborg is the one who blurts it out (he IS a facial scanner)
“Your last name is BAT SON??
Billy groans into his hands in defeat and Batman sighs, finally understanding why the secret was kept so desperately.
From then on the league refuses to call Billy anything other than Big Red Robin or just Big Robin. Robin but big. they call Batman Captain Dad at every possible opportunity. Whenever Billy does something wrong someone threatens to tell his dad on him then call Batman. The robins last names may as well not exist because from then on they are only ever called Damian Bat-son or Red Hood Bat-son or Stephanie Bat-daughter, except for Red Robin who’s called Little Red Robin or, if they’re feeling brave, the Little Red Cheese. The bat children and Billy’s nicknames become so confusing and meshed together that conversations get very confusing and the names just become interchangeable. The press is convinced that Captain Marvel is Batman’s secret love child within a week.
It gets so chaotic so fast, no one knows how this happened but names mean nothing anymore and Batman is getting a DNA test. So much opportunity for chaos!

Language! Part 2
[1 - 2]
The speech bubbles are a little odd, a holdover from when I used to draw these small and all on one layer and canvas.
Somehow, some way, Splinter’ll always catch them and make them pony up to the swear jar! Darn ninja dads, I swear, it’s like they can hide in the walls or something
Anyway, thought it would be fun to hint at Splinter having a life and acquaintances from his time in yokai society, in that weird way that parents have when they mention a crazy skill they picked up from their mysterious life before parenthood that their kids have no knowledge of yet. Plus, it’s interesting to think about what Splinter does in his day. He loved entertaining and stardom, I doubt he’d up and quit forever. His voice is the last thing truly his after his transformation, I’m sure he’d use it somehow to keep doing what he loved! He’s also a ninja warrior specifically trained to fight the supernatural, that probably comes with some pretty fun skills!
My mom once stole a boat and sailed to an abandoned condemned island for a whole couple of days, a story which cropped up once and then wasn’t explained until years later, much to my intrigue. She’s so calm and well collected, it was crazy to hear the shit she used to get up to lol

sam and cas are so... they're like brothers-in-law that are always slightly awkward bc their relationship only exists bc of a different person. and the first few seasons getting to know each other they keep getting pissed off if they exchange more than a few words ("he's an abomination", "i'll hunt you down and kill you", etc) but there's still somehow an inherent admiration there (bc that's Dean's Brother/that's An Angel). and eventually they do become some sort of actual friends. bc along with everything else. they realized that they can be bitchy to each other without toning it down and enable each other's most insane ideas.
compared to sam+dean and cas+dean's relationships, sam+cas are remarkably unaffected by everything that happens. they might have seasons long fights or plots with dean, but with each other they're always just kinda chill. like, yeah, course he's always gonna be there. we're friends and i don't actually like him that much but he is my 2nd closest family member in the world. he can be super annoying but i'd die for him in a heartbeat :)

Prompt: Either Time and Malon have announced they're having a baby or Malon has just had a baby and they're introducing them to the chain when Time finds some big insecurities from one of his boys he doesn't expect; Wild. Thing is, Time (and to an extent Malon as well) is the only parental figure he knows. Any memories of his parents are long gone along with any record of who they might have been so Time acting in a familial manner means a lot to Wild. But he's worried now that the man is an -actual- father that it means he'll be withdrawing that affection from the chain (himself, really) in favor of focusing on his child. Time goes above and beyond to prove him wrong.
Sky glared grumpily at the postman as he delivered mail to everyone. Legend snickered and elbowed his friend, making the usually cheery knight even more sour.
“Chin up, Sky,” Wild chuckled. “Nobody can outrun that guy from what I can figure. At least that’s what the old man says.”
Time didn’t even flinch at his mention. It wasn’t new - he tended to tune out the younger ones what they got rambunctious. But something about the intensity of which he was looking at his letter from Malon caught Wild’s attention.
“Everything okay?” Twilight asked, also picking up on it.
Time glanced at Twilight, eye fixed on the younger man, then back at the letter. Then he closed both eyes and smiled.
“It’s fine,” he said quietly, folding the letter.
That looks like more than fine,” Warriors noted, wiggling his eyebrows. “What are you hiding, old man?”
“Is Miss Malon okay?” Wind asked, poking his head over Warriors’ shoulder, having been sitting on the ground behind the captain, who had plopped on a stump.
“She’s fine,” Time replied warmly. Then he sighed a little, gentle cheer dashed by a cool, worried gaze.
“That wasn’t very convincing,” Four whispered to Twilight.
Time glanced around at the group, now that everyone had honed in on him. Then he seemed to come to a decision, huffing a little and saying, “Since none of you seem to know how to mind your business, then I’ll tell you.”
Warriors scoffed, “I’ll have you know I am perfectly capable of minding my own business until gossip is involved.”
Hyrule laughed. “It’s pretty funny listening to people’s drama in town, honestly. But I hope there isn’t drama in your house, old man.”
“There isn’t,” Time assured him. “But there will be someone new living there.”
“Is it that Ingo guy you got mad about?” Sky asked, tilting his head to the side.
Time outright laughed. “No, Sky. No. It’s… Malon’s pregnant.”
The group went silent for a long while before it burst into excited chatter. Warriors was the first to congratulate Time, with Sky coming shortly after, followed by Four and then everyone else in quick succession. Wind excitedly asked about baby names, Sky interrogated him about what course this journey might take now, if they should find a way to return to Lon Lon Ranch—
That was probably the point that Wild felt his stomach twist into knots.
He didn’t quite know what was wrong, at first. He congratulated the old man alongside everyone else. This was a great occasion, after all. But Sky mentioning how maybe Time would want to visit Malon really made Wild realize…
Was he going to leave the group now?
Wild… didn’t want him to leave.
It wasn’t that he was particularly close to Time, more so than the others. Wild was closest to Twilight, after all. But… something about the eldest Link was… comforting. Guiding. Wild couldn’t put words to it, except that… it reminded him of… he didn’t know. He just… he couldn’t remember anything. He didn’t know anything. But the Hero of Time became a staple in his life the last few weeks, a father figure of sorts (and he knew he wasn’t alone in this—the worried disappointment that Wind was trying to hide, the way Legend suddenly became aloof as if already distancing his heart from the matter, the way Sky took four steps away from their leader after running up to him to congratulate him—these were all indications of the same sentiment) when Wild could hardly remember any family at all… and he… was going to lose him too.
He supposed the only true constant in his life was Zelda.
It wasn’t as if he didn’t know this journey would come to an end, but he hadn’t expected their group to lessen during the journey. It had been horrifying when Twilight had almost died - now Time was going to just leave them? Leave him?
Wild found he couldn’t speak after his initial words of cheer for the old man, and he started to slink away into the woods. He wandered aimlessly, shivering a little, feeling far more alone than he had in a while. He tried to cheer himself up with some kind of logical argument—even if he does leave, you still have the others, you have your brothers, you have Twilight—but none of it quite filled the hole that was quickly forming.
At least this time he’d have a chance to say goodbye.
Wild eventually made his way back to the camp just in time - Warriors had been readying to search for him, and he didn’t want to cause such a fuss. He avoided Time for the rest of the night, settling in to take first watch as everyone else went to bed.
He hadn’t expected Time to sit beside him.
“Something’s bothering you,” Time said. It wasn’t a question, but it was held in the air like an invitation.
Wild sighed. “I… wouldn’t worry about it. We’ll find a way to get you home, old man. Wouldn’t want you to miss your actual family.”
There was a period of silence, only interrupted by the crackling of the fire. Wild felt a strange ache in his chest, a longing for someone he could no longer remember. He shriveled into himself a little, shoulders slumping, letting time pass by as he looked into the flames.
“Link… I’m not going home.”
Wild didn’t register the words for a moment, still lost in his own mind and thoughts, before he blinked and glanced over at the older hero. “Wait, what?”
“My place is here,” Time explained quietly, almost what seemed gently. “I would never abandon all of you like that. I love Malon dearly, but she isn’t my only family.”
Wild wasn’t sure what to say to any of this, but the hope in his heart couldn’t be ignored, and he burst out, “You’re not leaving us?”
There was something about Time’s expression that Wild couldn’t quite read. The older hero’s eyebrows seemed to relax from their previously stern position, face softening, eye looking Wild over. “No, young one. I’m not leaving. What we will do, though, is turn back towards the town. I want to write to her. I want all of us to write to her. We’ll have to keep tabs on how she’s doing far more often.”
“Why all of us?” Wild asked.
Time reached forward, messing with the teenager’s hair as he smiled. “If I’ve had to parent all of you, then you’re certainly earning the right and responsibility to ensure your new little sister is alright.”
Wild yelped a little at the gesture before laughing a little, swatting Time away. “Sister, eh? You think it’s a girl?”
“Goddess, I hope so. I have enough boys to take care of.”
Wild’s laugh nearly woke the entire group at that remark. When he’d settled, Time smiled at him, laying a hand on his shoulder. The gesture was reassuring, a physical representation on the promise that Time hadn’t spoken. He didn’t need to. What he’d said was enough.
The ache in Wild’s chest didn’t squeeze quite so hard. But he yearned for the contact, and so he leaned forward a little, just a little, just enough to be perceived without invading the man’s space. Time understood the motion for what it was, and he smiled a little more, pulling Wild into a hug. For the briefest moment the champion felt a little silly or embarrassed at the vulnerability he’d just shown, and then he decided he didn’t care - if he truly viewed Time as a father figure then he should be comfortable showing such insecurity around him. He’d done as much with Twilight.
Twilight. Time’s descendant. Between being viewed as a brother by Twi and a son by Time, Wild actually… he really…
He let out a shuddering breath, and Time’s hand swept up and down his back slowly.
For the first time in as long as he could remember, Wild actually felt like he belonged in a group, in a team, in a family. He could imagine the Champions smiling at him, and the tears finally did fall.
