so people think that mike was all freaked out when he looked at will (Triple Take) because he got caught looking at will right? but i have a theory. hear me out
yes he was looking at will because hes in love with him. but what if he freaked out not because he was caught but because will was already looking at him.
so picture it. mike looks at will who is already looking at him. he questions why will is looking at him. he thinks that will knows he likes him. freaks out because how does will know? what does will think of him know that he knows?
this is a dumb theory but it came to my head and i thought id share

So I have kinda a crack head spn theory that came to me in a dream, and I'm too lazy to go see if this theory would even be plausible, but what if the antichrist from that one episode was actually Chuck
...just like, think about it for a second, like God was never actually in the show and it was just Chuck pretending to be God, that would be kinda fitting considering in this theory he would technically be the antichrist

I'm so glad this is mostly isolated to tumblr (sort of because I think that's part of the issue why some people Say This Shit) but the whole "transandrophobia isn't real masculinity isn't punished in society trans men have male privilege wah wah wah" is actually fucking wild. Do any of you remember mspec discourse. Or ace/aro discourse. Fucking whatever discourse where half of queer tungler decided "actually this type of queer person is bad and privileged and they should be bullied" with no critical thought whatsoever. Time is a flat fucking circle. Stop falling for TERF and other bigoted rhetoric you are not immune to propaganda
#transandrophobia#if you say dumb shit in the notes you're personally sucking me off#through my jorts#/j#this isn't supposed to be a serious theory or praxis post or whatever im mostly just saying shit to say it

Jax 001 Theory AKA An almost definitely wrong TADC theory
I thought it was weird that they gave specific attention to Jax seeing the license plate. Like, there's a whole shot dedicated it. And it doesn't serve much of a purpose. I guess it lets us know that this is Jax's car? But it's in the episode. A full shot dedicated to seeing him notice it. A full shot dedicated to the plate itself.
And there's a shot afterwards of him reacting to it. Not even a particularly comedic shot. It feels more in line with his reaction to Kaufmo's funeral in episode 2.
True, it could be him reacting to the awful adventure he just had, but we just had a scene where his smile turned into a scowl. And, you know, pretty much the rest of the episode. Or it could be him reacting to the absurdity of the license plate, but considering the day to day adventures Caine creates, this seems a bit tame to get any reaction from him.
So that gets me wondering, does the license plate have any significance? The number at the top right could be some sort of reference. But it's the 001 that intrigued me. It's typically a number given to the first of something. Maybe even the first person to come to the circus?
Instantly the idea sounded ridiculous (because it is, this theory is almost definitely wrong). I mean, Jax himself said that Kinger had been here the longest. But take a look back at what he actually said.
"Supposedly been here the longest"
At first glance, this seems to mean that Jax can't be sure who's been here the longest. Which makes sense when you consider Kinger's memory issues and all the circus members who have abstracted. And, let's be real, this is probably what the line means. But if you'll let me be delusional for a second, there's another way to read this line.
What if Jax means that everyone assumes Kinger had been there the longest? But he knows it's not true because he's been there the longest?
For most characters, it wouldn't make sense for them to be purposefully vague with their wording. But this is Jax. It's completely in character for him to keep things from the other circus members for no reason. In the first episode alone he kept his supply of keys and Kaufmo's abstraction a secret. Jax will lie about pretty much everything, and he's pretty good at it too.
Further delusions can also be found in episode one. When Pomni tries take her headset off, Jax says this.
Could it be that Jax knows the circus members all tried to take off their headsets because he was there when they did it? Again, probably not. This is the weakest piece of evidence I have, but I figured I'd include it anyway.
And that would explain a fair bit of his behavior. Jax seems more comfortable in the circus than any of them. He has access to keys. He's only momentarily surprised by Kaufmo abstracting. He's incredibly jaded. He seems bored with the adventures, deliberately causing chaos to get them off track (his hijinks on the syrup truck, sucking up the ghost in the mansion, and trying to dunk Ragatha in the oil). It almost reads like a gamer who's played the game a thousand times and is trying anything to make it interesting.
Again, I'm fully aware that this probably isn't the case. I'd say there's a 0.01% chance that this will be confirmed in any capacity whatsoever. It will almost definitely be disproved. But until then, I thought this would be a fun idea. Maybe it'd be a good fic.
But hey, that's just a theory...
A DIGITAL CIRCUS THEORY!

i knowww troy was sick of the philosopher's shit during the ride up to the surface but it's so so so interesting to me how he responded to questions about his family. like obviously we know he has Issues with his dad (and likely his brother, if he hasn't thought to bring him up ONCE) and he doesn't really elaborate on it much further -- but he's still always relatively casual about it, if not a bit dismissive.
but going up the clocktower, his answers were straightforward and distant. one or two word answers, no elaboration, no emotion other than mildly irritated. even when the subject shifts from his family to his first name, he keeps the same demeanor until he explodes at runt. and i think it's so striking to me bc he DOESN'T talk like that!! at no other point in the campaign so far has he behaved like this, even when bringing up his father.
i also wonder about his relationship with his brother. troy has said on multiple occasions that his relationship with his dad is rocky, but he still mentions him in casual conversation sometimes. never once has he mentioned a brother. the only time he has EVER acknowledged it was this episode, when asked if he really does have a brother (to which he responds "yea" and doesn't elaborate any further.) and idk. it's interesting.
#my working theory on the lougferd boys is that his brother is the golden child and troy is the disappointment#and that despite troys INCREDIBLY successful athletic career and skills he lives in his brothers shadow (in the eyes of their dad anyway)#and like. teras right. he really is smarter than people give him credit for. but compared to his brother#he may as well just be the dumb frat boy. no ones ever expected much of him so hes never had a reason to try very hard until recently#his skills lie elsewhere but they arent valuable to his dad. they arent enough for his dad.#anyway#jrwi wonderlust#jrwi wonderlust spoilers#troy lougferd#jrwi troy#jrwi#just roll with it#jrwi show

I love the idea of teenage Malleus hating his new baby brother Silver but slowly falling for him
words cannot express how much I adore that Mal's reaction to seeing a human baby for the first time was "the fuck is this. why does it look like that. gross." (then he immediately got stuck on babysitting duty and the rest is history)
I am SUCH a sucker for that trope of "non-humans being fascinated by normal human behavior", so between that and all the delicious angst going on I was eating VERY well. >:) Malleus being so impressed that two-year-old Silver can walk, because it took him twenty years to stand on two legs! Lilia barging in on the Zigvolts at 2 AM being like "he won't stop crying what do I do"! Lilia trying to feed Silver rats and Malleus being like "...please just stick with what the books say to feed it"! it is all so. chef's kiss.

So I've been lurking in the Danganronpa fandom long enough now to start feeling insane, because it felt really obvious to me that Nagito genuinely suspected/hoped Hajime was the traitor, but I have seen no fic, no art, no posts or essays addressing this at all?? Not even one??
First of all, he accused him outright. Then he found out Hajime was even more of an outlier than he thought he was in the Final Dead Room. At no point was it confirmed or revealed that Nagito found out Hajime was Kamakura, so probably he thought Hajime was just some random mystery Reserve among his Ultimate classmates. He may have even found out about the Reserve course mass-suicide in there, which gives Hajime a motive to be fucking around with them in secret. He tried to sneakily ask Hajime what his deal was right before the trial, all "What do you think of books like that?" and was really disappointed when Hajime played dumb. He made a point to state in his final video that he was too hard on Hajime, as if he expected him to be around to hear him say that.
And despite his luck, his plan failed. Which is a little weird, because it succeeded in every other respect -- identifying the traitor, making it nearly impossible to determine the killer, setting up the Remnants for execution -- but not in actually executing them, his true end goal, which implies, I think, that his goal was a little more complicated than just killing them all? He didn't just want them to die, he wanted the traitor to live, but if he thought Hajime was the traitor...
Then his luck did work. Because Hajime understood Nagito just enough to figure out what he was trying to do, but also, I think, because that was really what Nagito wanted all along. Above everything else. More than dying, more than killing. He just wanted Hajime alive.
Am I insane for thinking this?? Or are all the fics/art/essays just hiding from me???
#danganronpa#komahina#nagito komaeda#hajime hinata#danganronpa 2#my posts#if they exist.... THEN WHERE ARE THEY#I NEED THEM#and i am AWARE komaeda was dead and in theory his luck should have died with him#so it would have no longer been an influencing factor in the trial or anything only in the set up#but nagito WASN'T ACTUALLY DEAD WAS HE???#HM????????#idek this has been driving me nuts i am ready to get pwned#there must be something i've missed that makes this theory impossible and i'm just too dumb to see it

i remember literally peeing laughing when feyre was talking to rhys about the tithe and rhys was like god no we don’t have tithe how cruel, and feyre was like omg so you guys don’t tax people? and rhys was like no we definitely tax people
i literally cackled like c’mon man
#wouldn’t the taxes have to be hella higher bc of the amount of houses and stuff that rhys has#i know it’s dumb to think about taxes but i was dead#also yes i know the point was that that rhys (probably) doesn’t hunt down people for not paying taxes like the tithe#but surely there would be some consequences like it’s taxes bro#my favorite theory is that feyre nor rhys with their one shared brain cell understand how taxes work#i love them#a court of thorns and roses#acotar#a court of mist and fury#sarah j maas#a court of silver flames#a court of frost and starlight#a court of wings and ruin#tamlin#rhysand#feyre archeron#feylin#feysand

Not sure who has talked about it yet (prbly everybody) but I love how Cale was a bit more capable of letting people from Roan in than in Korea as TL.
Like he seems like the same person, and he is, but it's visibly easier to get close to him from the perspective of Choi Han, the Molans, everybody. And I love that the reason is because they, to Cale's knowledge, had nobody. Choi Han has nobody from Korea or Harris, the children have no parents, neither do the wolves, the Molans lost their home, Rosalyn left her home and faced assassins, Alberu was scorned his whole life, and the list goes on.
It's pointed out that he tried to distance himself from the members of his Team after he became leader because they all had families and he did not. And that he, Choi Jung Soo, and Lee Soo Hyuk became close because they were people who already lost everybody. Then those people died, and he couldn't do it again.
Then he arrives in a world, surrounded by people who lost their parents, their homes, their whole worlds, and.
There is no family they have to go home to. So. Couldn't he help them have that? So he doesn't push them to leave, he just grumbles.
And I love how it's awkward for him (at first) to interact with the Henituse family. Not just because they were supposed to know Cale better than anyone else, but also that they were already their own family and he had to consider if he should be there at all, both as an 'outsider' and as 'Cale the Trash'. But then the Henituse household does that thing where they look at him, and no matter who they see past the eyes, it's a member of their own ranks. So even if they knew from the beginning about it or not, whether there is somebody else there or if a person truly chose change, this person is in their family and he is welcome in their house. Especially after all he's done, they have to chain him down somehow so he doesn't kill himself like a moron.
Anyway, I went back a couple of arcs to reread and catch up on part 2 cuz I haven't gone past Murim yet, how are u guys doin
#tcf cale#cale henituse#trash of the count's family#tcf#lcf#That last bit#was part of a theory i had btw#where the henituse household or at least deruth#were told something about the soulswap or time oddity#and thats why they didnt push the matter but kinda rolled with it#not just a plot armor or the henituse family being dumb but#knowing something from a warning by the thames or some last words jour left behind#idk#I kno im very behind DONT RUSH ME
