Get to know your moots (if you dare)
LOL thank you for the tag @imaswellkid
What's the origin of your blog title? I wasn't sure if I was going to like Tumblr, but I came here to read fics and enjoy myself, so it's kind of a double meaning: I'm just here for the moment (to experience and enjoy it), but also I'm just here for the moment (and next moment I might be somewhere else). Yeah... very deep.
OTP(s) + Shipname: I'm too new to fanfiction to have any of these.
Favorite color: Hex code #fa7a95
Favorite game: To play with others? I like board games like Kulami and Guess Who and Forbidden Island. By myself? Tetris or 2048 or Sudoku on my phone.
Song stuck in your head: When I first got tagged for this game it was "Fuck and Run" by Liz Phair; right now this moment it's "Old Before I Die" by Robbie Williams
Weirdest habit/trait? I rinse cups right before I use them, even if I just took them out of the dishwasher. Not like a full wash: just a little water, swirl, and dump. It's automatic, and I can't drink from a cup, any cup, unless it's "clean" first. For some reason drinking at restaurants and people's houses or drinking something someone else made, I don't care, but if I'm at home or at work and I'm about to fill a cup with water or tea or anything, I have to rinse it.
Hobbies: Writing, knitting, napping, TV, and checking out library books but never getting around to reading them.
If you work, what's your profession? the most human of resources: Human Resources
If you could have any job you wish, what would it be? Author/editor/publisher
Something you're good at: hugs (I'm stealing Maddie's answer for this one)... but also encouraging other writers, and also staying sober (12 years and counting!)
Something you're bad at: Lots of stuff, but that just means I have room to improve.
Something you love: my black cat, being right about stuff, helping people
Something you could talk about for hours off the cuff: Aw jeez, so much stuff: knitting, creative writing, Godzilla movies, forensic anthropology and death investigation (how cool bones are, and what they can tell you about the person who used to encompass them, and other stuff you didn't know bones could do, like be shaped to break at one certain spot so that something more important doesn't break and hurt you more and take longer to heal [your clavicles!] and also the really bitchin' stuff that goes on at forensic anthropology research facilities, a.k.a. "body farms")
Something you hate: Hate is kinda a strong word, but I do not react well when people treat me like an idiot and talk down to me.
Something you collect: Godzilla stuff, books, dust, friends, trivia and factoids and general knowledge
Something you forget: That I'm not actually Wonder Woman, and it's disappointing when that fact slaps me in the face
What's your love language? Listening and being a shoulder to cry on and empathizing and hugging (but only for people who reciprocate, if you constantly unload on me and never let me do it I get cranky).
Favorite movie/show: Favorite movie: The Thing (1982), favorite show: Friends or 30 Rock
Favorite food: Lots of things, but if you made me choose it would be plants, fruits and vegetables, all kinds
Favorite animal: Cats
What were you like as a child? Fearful, anxious, inquisitive, mature for my age, physically frail and sick a lot, stubborn, cried a lot, lonely, and constantly with my nose in a book.
Favorite subject at school? Language arts, or biology/chemistry/general science
Least favorite subject? Math, but specifically geometry or physics
What's your best character trait? Stubborn, fiercely protective of my people, and love to help others
What's your worst character trait? Stubborn
If you could change any detail of your day right now, what would it be? I should have hydrated more
If you could travel in time, who would you like to meet? Edward Gorey
Recommend one of your favorite fanfics (spread the love!): Good. Things. Take. Time. by @oonajaeadira (The ultimate in escapist fanfiction and I will never not be in the mood to re-read it)

So apparently Croatia will perform at Eurovision naked if they win (https://www.tumblr.com/dduane/716871796513751040?source=share) and I think Buck Havard will be upset that someone stole his idea!
LOL yes they announced it in the semifinal! They did get through to the final so we'll see. The idea is if they win the Grand Final they'll do the encore naked, which, I'm sure they have something prepared like a series of musical instruments or similar, since performing naked is against the regs (also performing with live animals, I believe, there was a foofarah a few years ago).
That's why Buck was like "Tights and a fig leaf" -- he knew Eurovision regs, but it's also a little easter egg -- it references Robbie Williams, who was somewhat the personality model for Buck, and who has never been particularly shy about going nude, wearing beige underwear adorned with leaves to appear on The X-Factor.
I'm not going to lie, watching the semifinal yesterday I did spend a lot of time thinking about what Buck and Caleb were up to. There was so much about Eurovision itself that I didn't get to cover -- fans, the little sketches they do sometimes during voting or between acts, that kind of thing. Like yesterday several of the groups taught the host their signature dance moves, and it would have been super funny for Caleb to just be like "Here's how you sit" or for Buck to teach the Mick Jagger strut he uses.
I think if I have this much staying power eventually there will be a second Eurovision novel that will be from the fan POV -- a different Eurovision, with different performers, but something that talks about the experience of Eurovision rather than being set against that backdrop. (In either Royals/Ramblers or the Football novel, I'm trying to recall which, Buck mentions the king has him and Caleb co-writing a song to send to the next Eurovision, but says they're just writing the song, not performing it.)

Jason.

Suddenly I want to talk about Jason (it's a very long talk).
I realize I never talk about this here, but I often compare him to Queen's John Deacon. There are few similarities. The "silent" one, the underrated one, the one who prefer tea when the others would prefer wine, the one whose lyrics always about life, the dark horse, the one who is not confident with singing, the one who left the band and never be seen again.

The thing about John Deacon is that I never feel sort of bereaved, longing, or sad that he is no longer in Queen. I am a Queen fan since I could barely speak english thanks to my dad and the moment I learn that he left Queen so many years ago I was like that's ok. That's because even though Brian and Roger are the spine of Queen, the heart and soul will always be with Freddie and Freddie died 32 years ago. New fans had their hard time accepting it when they searched for Deacy but they quickly realized time has gone long and he has been living a peaceful private life. It's easy for us to let go of Deacy, because Queen regardless how good Adam Lambert is now, is over the moment Freddie died. There are no what ifs when talking about Deacy leaving Queen and public life. His statement is also clear and undeniable that he left because he thought there should be no more Queen after Freddie.
But the thing about Jason Orange is that he left at the height of Take That fandom. They just had Robbie back and they released Progress and it was very very success album and tour too. Three years later, people expect something but Robbie's not coming back and so did Jason. It feels anticlimactic for fans even though it may not be for him. There are no impromptu. Unlike the rest of the members, Jason doesn't have social media but he also didn't do or say anything leading up to that day in 2014. Take That was perfectly fine ship and suddenly one of their longest standing member at that time jumped the ship without lifeboat that could help him return. He swam to the nearest island and not planning to swim back to the ship ever again. Sure he made a statement through Take That's PR but it's just a thank yous. Something is not told and as fans we left to wonder why did he leave. What had gone wrong in the background??
Toxic fans would often like to think it's because of Robbie because Jason didn't like Rob in the 90s and, while often written off in newer documentaries or autobiographies, was the one who propagated to kick Robbie Williams out of Take That (as stated by the man himself in Look Back, Don't Stare). It's easy to make Robbie Williams a scapegoat, isn't it? However, Jason himself said back in Progress era that Robbie came back to Take That was the final piece of puzzle. Gary in his book A Better Me also said that Jason always wanted Robbie to return and felt like his job is done when he got to see all his boyband friends in the same room again.
However, it still doesn't answer the question to why did he leave? I have a habit of wondering over unimportant things and sometimes, especially now, my mind wonder about Jason and why exactly did he leave. I have some theories, it might not satisfy you but bare with me.
Here's a gif of Jason so you won't get too tired reading this post lol
First theory: tax evasion scandal. I'm not gonna pretend to be a foolish fan and not know that sometimes in 2014, Take That faced a huge backlash thanks to this scandal. Those annoying 40-50 something British guy who love to make this tax evader joke to state they never like Take That to look manly can never escape me every time I go around social media about Take That. Even though it rarely talked about among Thatters, I feel like if they are not known more now than they are a decade ago it's because this scandal still affecting them in the eyes of UK public, who are their major target market. I could also argue if only they make another big break this scandal will be gone from people's mind but sad to say they haven't done anything bigger than Progress even until now, not that I don't like III, Wonderland, and This Life, I do. But me and all of you (roughly 30 people around here) and I'd estimate less than 2 millions most royal Thatters out there who are interested are not enough. Back to the tax scandal, it is a fact that Gary, Mark, and Howard are part of the scandal but not Jason because his finance always managed by his twin brother, so I heard. I wonder whatever went behind the scene could might affect Jason's decision to leave.
Why? Because if it is true that he left because Progress is enough, he could have stated he would be leaving since after Progress or any time between 2012 to early 2014. Why did he have to wait and drag this for too long? Also, I wonder if this is why they are so sensitive about Jason leaving at first. Remember in Robbie's autobiography when they were really angry at Rob for accidentally blurted it that Jason would leave before official statement?
Second theory: anxiety, illness, physical problem or other health problems. I often wonder about this too. Progress era is the ultimate era especially for old school Thatters (lol sorry to the actual ultimate era). Who would have thought that "I'm rich beyond my wildest dream", the greatest britpop star living in private mansion in Beverly Hills with around 10 entourages including his gf, Robbie Williams, could ever reunited with Take That? I can only look this like history book and only recently realized how crazy it is. It happened. In his Netflix documentary, even his management didn't believe this that he'd rather earn so little yet did so much effort for Take That rather than earning another hundreds of millions of dollar doing another solo tour. But it happened, he needed it, the rest of Take That needed it, and we're glad it happened. And then, imagine Never Forget. One of the best Take That song ever, made in 1995 but released when Rob had left, so before 2010 this song had never been performed by Robbie Williams. The moment that all Thatters had been waiting for, to see all five members of Take That perform this song life, without others backing the others, as the original single intended. The only era where they can do this, and it only ever happened once (1). And then Jason...
youtube
And then they never did it again. Throughout Progress live tour, Jason didn't sing a single note by solo. His part in Never Forget was covered by Gary. You could even argue that his mic was never on during any of Progress live performances and I would believe you. So much downgrade than The Circus Live where he did an entire section singing two songs with his guitar. What was going on??
Why? He stated few times he was never confident in singing. Even Nigel Martin Smith berating him in the 90s for being the one with the worse singing voice (arguable though because he actually has decent voice). I'm glad Take Two era gave him the confidence to try albeit shyly. However, maybe eventually his anxiety won sometimes between 2012 to 2014. Plus the fact that we know he can't do breakdance forever. He was in his 40s at that time. Even current Take That dance lesser and lesser than they were in previous era. Maybe Jason thought there should not be more dancing in Take That. Maybe he thought his body would no longer able to. Maybe he's not strong as he used to be. He's ill? Idk, only Jason knows.
Third theory: settling down in private. It could be just my headcanon but think about it. We always joke he might as well marry to the bench because he's always photographed alone in his own thoughts. Some people even randomly thinking is he gay? He has that swag though, but I don't think at least he himself think that he's gay(?).

Lol this iconic pic
But what we never talk about is that he did have girlfriends in the past. He has been photographed by paparazzi in the past with "mystery" women (yes women as in plural) which I will not share here. He had a public relationship with Catherine Tate after all.
I genuinely think Jason is the kind who would drop everything to keep his family safe from public. This is after all the same guy who despite the height of his career barely show his family to the public, except his mom probably, but then again all TT moms always have media presence since day 1. Being in kdrama fandom and see korean actors and actresses who literally just dropped their career for their family and their privacy, I can see Jason would do just like that. Why not? He has achieved and experienced everything there is to know about being a celebrity. He doesn't feel the need to. And I feel like his relationship with Catherine Tate, since she also a public figure, was so gobbled down by media that maybe he thought this isn't right to have people judging his partner. If one day Jason appear with a wife and a child, I won't be surprised at all. I would be exploding in happiness that this theory is correct though.
Also I'm happy to see Catherine Tate returns to Doctor Who with David Tennant. I just know then that she actually is known for being in Doctor Who. I had no idea who is she outside being in Happy Now music video 😂
My theory outside Jason leaving:
Take That (and their management) know where and how Jason is (to some extent). In the interviews often Gary, Mark, and Howard would be asked about Jason to which they would say they didn't contact him for ages. Or joke that they tried to email him but then maybe he only have flip phones and doesn't even have a computer to answer the email. Look, he can be a hermit but man living in first world country and doesn't have even a smartphone to answer email in 21st century is ridiculous. I believe they still talk or see each other once in a while, especially with Howard, who tweeted that he met Jason in 2018. Hell, I feel like even Rob has seen Jason at least once between 2014 to now. I don't know, just a hunch.
His privacy is protected by Take That management and also by most of public. Continuation from previous bullet point. Yes. Because do you remember when there was George Michael's art auction in Manchester and some celebrities who came there are photographed clearly. But not Jason. It's hard to find that picture again but I found it and that's just the only the bigfoot sightings of Jason Orange that I know of because it happened after I know Take That deep enough. Between 2014 to 2017, how many sightings that I didn't know? Where if other celeb would have crystal clear pictures taken but not him on the same occasion? I wonder. Also many people claimed that they met Jason in public space in around London or Manchester, but mostly Manchester. So he is not as hermit as they would like you to think. Maybe if you go around there and if you just lucky, you might come across a wild Jason Orange.

Goddammit this guy.
instagram
At the end of this post, thank you for reading this until this part, guys. I really miss Jason like all of you. He is truly an enigma but no matter what would always have special place in every Thatters' heart. Awww...I cringe a little when I wrote that.
Regardless my theory, I can only wish he lives a good and happy life. If you have something to say, you can also add here in the reblog or reply, or dm me, let's chat.
Also I put all Jason sightings on my tumblr with this tag called The Bigfoot Sightings of Jason Orange (because he is as blurry as bigfoot sightings).

TAKE THAT ASK GAME
Hello! I'm sick and bored so I thought why not answer all questions in one post. Bare with me as it's gonna be looong and very grammatically incorrect 😊
btw. these are all just my opinions, you have every right to disagree with me, just be nice, ok, thank you.
Favourite member?
If you had asked me this question 6-8 years ago, I would have said Gary without hesitation, but over the years, Mark has earned a special place in my heart, so now it has to be both Gary and Mark - I honestly can't choose between them, although I'm leaning towards Gary a tad bit more.
Favourite voice?
Gary
TT5, TT4, or TT3?
TT4 (with Jason) all the way, always and forever. TT5 (Progress era) never felt 100% right to me, I had the feeling Rob took all the spotlight, mainly because journalists made the whole thing about him wchich was a bit irky imo. I enjoyed this lineup nevertheless. TT3 is fantastic, but I do miss Jason, I miss all the Donage moments, I miss his input to the band. TT4 feels just right - spontaneous, full of genuine chemistry and balanced in a way that makes every member shine without anyone dominating.
Favourite album?
Beautiful World - I mean, what a way to come back to the music scene! Not only did this album rekindle Gary's faith in his songwriting skills, but it also showcased how great the other members are at writing songs. It gave us gems like Patience, Shine, Rule The World (well almost), Hold On and Jay's first lead Wooden Boat. I love how 'warm' it sounds. The only thing I don't like is the slow ballad to upbeat song ratio, I wish there were more fast-paced songs on it.
Favourite music video?
Oh I really don't know! I like 'How Deep Is Your Love' 'cause it's so different and strange lol but I think I'm gonna choose Patience. There's something so significant about them 4 all carrying the microphones almost like a symbol of the struggles they each carried and faced throughout the 10 year break, the way they all come separately from different directions to finally meet and reunite. It is a powerful video for a powerful song.
Favourite song?
Rule The World - they totally reached their peak with this song. Everything's perfect about it : Gary's voice, the backing vocals (especially towards the end where you can clearly hear Mark 💀 ), the production makes it so magical, the chorus gives me goosebumps EVERYTIME, I also loved the movie they wrote the song for. Lyrically it might not be their strongest song, but often with music, it's not just about the lyrics, it's about the emotion it conveys. I have so many beautiful memories tied to this track, I even remember the first time I heard it - it was in August 2010, Saturday afternoon. It blew my little socks off, but I was totally underwhelmed by the music video lol
Favourite tour?
Beautiful World again! I like the intimacy of arena tours. The show they put up with Could It Be Magic was imo their most spectacular performance to date and let's not forget the Give Good Feeling and Sure renditions - outta this world and omg the Never Forget hologram bit -glorious!
Beautiful World or The Circus?
Beautiful World
Wonderland or This Life?
Wonderland
Everything Changes or Nobody Else?
Nobody Else
Take That & Party or III?
Oh God, this is the hardest one yet!! Take That & Party is such a fun album! It proves that Gary is a genius! Creating such a solid album at just 19 or 20 (or maybe even younger) almost entirely by himself… DAMN! Yes, it is a bit cheesy and corny but I'm a cheesy music connoisseur, so I don't mind lol. I love III as well, it seems to be their most consistent album of the 2010's but think I'm still gonna go for TT&P 😁
Progress or Odyssey?
Progress
How long have you been a fan?
My story is kinda weird and random. It was May 2010, I had passed all my exams, I was bored watching TV on a sunny afternoon. I saw THIS Nikon ad, I thought to myself: "That's Robbie Williams, I know him, he has some great songs." I googled him initially just to listen to his music but ended up watching every interview I could find, and I totally fell for him 😬 To say I was obsessed would be an understatement. Doing my extensive research, I found out that he used to be in a band, and I was honestly shocked! I checked them out, and the first song I came across was ... 'Promises'. Now, if that video didn't scare me off, it means me and this band were meant to be xd Then I found out that I knew BFG and Patience from the radio! They'd just reunited for Progress, so I couldn't have found a better time to discover them! My love for them grew with every song and every interview. I started watching old performances, reading up on their history, and before I knew it, they had become a huge part of my life. I developed a crush on Gary almost immediately, I couldn't tell Jason and Howard apart for about two weeks, and Mark was obviously the smiley, cute one. 15 years later, they feel like more like friends or family members than a band to me!
Have you seen Take That live?
YES!!!!! I saw them last year in Łódź, Poland. Undoubtedly the best day of me life, even though I had the most terrible view imaginable.
Do you own any merch/memorabilia?
Yup, I have about 6 T-Shirts, a mug and Gary & TT calendars.
Favourite photo/photoshoot?
Hmmm I like most of their photos, but I'm gonna go with the Beautiful World CD photoshoot. I'm obsessed with that era idk why. Oh and I like how on the cover of BW there's a space between Mark and Jason and I always saw it as 'they made room for Robbie' 🥲

Favourite dynamic in the band?
This won't come as a surprise but BARLOWEN! I will ship these two to my grave lolz. There's something so wholesome about their bromance, you can totally tell Mark absolutely adores Gary and while Gary is a tiny bit more reserved when it comes to showing his affection for Mark on stage you can tell he really, really loves him too. Call me stupid, but I find it hard to think of anything more manly than a couple of straight guys who are not afraid or embarrassed to show how much they care about each other publicly. I was a big fan of Donage too, I bet Jay broke Howard's heart with his departure becuase it was clear they were very close friends as well.
Do you listen to their solo work?
Sure I do. Rob's solo stuff has been with me since early childhood. It could be my own little Mandela Effect but I'm almost sure I remember hearing "She's The One" at a *school in Poland that you attend when you're 6 that has no English equivalent* 😆 Then I spent years listening to the radio and Rob's quite famous here so they were playing him A LOT! Mark's solo work is so underrated I wanna scream until people stop sleeping on his talent! I'm very much an indie girl so his solo material is a gift sent from God. I like his style, his creativity etc. Now … with all my love to Gary and appreciation of his songwriting skills I have to say - his solo material just doesn't do it for me. For some reason he becomes very monothematic when he’s not in the band. Slow, high pitched ballads are just not my vibe, although he does have some great songs like 'Forever Love', 'Lie To Me' or 'Open Road'. Don't throw me out of the TT fandom (am I even still in it? lol ) but his last 2 albums were awful 🤐
A song you skip?
There's only one song that I skip and it's 'Keep Your Head Up'. Was Gary in the middle of eating a sandwich when they recorded it? 😂Honestly, so weird! I also don't listen to 'What Do You Want From Me' too often because it makes me feel a lil bit uncomfortable.
A song you find comforting?
There are so many but 'What you believe in" stands out, definitely. It's like medicine for a troubled soul.
A song that gets you hype?
Strangely, 'Giants' made me scream like crazy at their gig, also 'Get Ready For It" always gets me so excited.
A song that makes you cry?
I shed a tear during 'Rule The World' live but that was to be expected. Usually 'Freeze' makes me emotional because JASON 😭
Favourite lyric?
Everytime I listen to 'Every Revolution' I catch this lyric: "Up ahead the blanket full of stars, a pencil sketch to lie down underneath" and it makes me strangely happy! Unexplainable, sorry!
Any hot takes/general thoughts to do with the band?
What else can I say about the band? I left social media for over 6 years, they also had a longer break. They've changed and so have I. I noticed how their music matured, they've matured as people, minus Howard who hit snooze on the maturity and sensibleness alarms, but nevermind lol. They are still extremely important to me, their music is always safe, comfortable and familiar, like a warm blanket on a cold day. I'm so happy I've been a part of their story for 15 years, on and off. They went through a lot, they made mistakes, but I loved watching them learn from them and grow as people. Their story is wild, full of highs and lows, but that's what makes them so real and relatable. Despite everything they went through, they never gave up. And neither did I. I stuck with them and will support them 4evaaaa.
#this was far too long i apologize but I could talk about TT for hours#nah days!#sorry again for my dreadful language#but I have a temperature and am currently being squashed by an overweight cat siting on my lap blocking my vision XD#take that#gary barlow#mark owen#howard donald#jason orange#take that ask game

Ooohhhh what are your top 5 favorite moments from the show as a whole
the entirety of the s2 school fight - i feel like this one is pretty popular amongst the entire fandom, but i remember watching s2 on netflix prior to the release of s3 and it left me flabbergasted (lol). i didn't expect robby, who had so much growth in s1 and s2, to be the one who would make the move that sent miguel over the balcony. also, it's clear that the cast still thinks this is one of the best fights in the show and it really is. they worked their butts off and some of them were still pretty new to karate / doing stunts as a whole.
sam's arc in season 3 - i know this is very broad and isn't a specific scene, but i'm going to consider it one anyways. i was really worried the writers weren't going to touch on sam's trauma after the school fight because before this point, i felt they weren't doing her character justice at all, but they actually did. and props to mary for portraying it so well with such little screentime to do it! the one scene that stands out to me is when hawk goes to break demetri's arm and she just completely freezes, or her scene with amanda at the hospital. i still think it's one of mary's best performances.
sam and tory making up in s6 - another sam scene? *pretends to be shocked* no, but because i originally wrote sam prior to writing anyone else from this show, a lot of my favorite scenes have to do with her. i was never a big tory fan. i can't even lie about it lol. i started to like her more during s5, but it was still pretty difficult for me to forgive her much like it was for sam. this was the first scene i felt like tory and sam really took the time to talk about what happened back in s2 and took accountability for what happened.
robby losing to axel in part 3 - i don't like saying robby lost because i honestly believe he could've won if axel hadn't played dirty. but robby accepting what happened, especially after coming out of that fight with a broken leg, was incredibly mature of him. i was definitely someone who rooted for robby to win the sekai taikai when we first found out about it. i thought he needed to win to be happy in the end, but part 3 showed me a side of robby i had forgotten about. he didn't start karate to win tournaments. back in season 1, he was genuinely curious to learn about miyagi-do, and a lot of his reason for doing karate was to find balance in his life. yes, robby didn't win, and i'm sure he was upset about it, but one thing he did was accept that loss. he won't let it eat away at him for 30 something years like it did for johnny.
johnny and kreese scene in part 3 - i think this scene was so important, and it's really a bummer we didn’t get it sooner because it completely shifts how we see the tournament in '84. johnny's confession, that the worst part of that day wasn't losing, but how kreese treated him afterward, adds so much depth to his character. the man he saw as a father figure, someone he looked up to, ended up tossing him aside like he was nothing. looking at the show through this perspective, it makes so much sense why johnny's anger toward daniel 30 years later isn't really about daniel at all. it’s more about kreese and the loss of confidence he felt that day. johnny was crushed, not just by the defeat, but by the man he trusted abandoning him. that realization really changes the way we view his character throughout the series. ALSO, SOMEONE GIVE WILLIAM THAT EMMY! THANK YOU! his acting during that scene was phenomenal.
my top 5 / top 10 anything, still accepting. ( @mskwtz )

TAKE THAT HOGWARTS SORTING
ok so here are my opinions, let me know what you think!
i asked chat gpt to write a little about each member to back up my decisions.
Jason
starting off with baby !!

“Jason Orange is likely to be a Ravenclaw. Ravenclaws value intelligence, knowledge, creativity, and originality, all of which are characteristics that can be associated with Jason. As a member of Take That, Orange's musical talent and innovative approach to songwriting demonstrate his love for intellect and creativity. Additionally, his thoughtful and introspective nature supports the idea that he would fit well into the Ravenclaw house, which praises individuality and intellectual curiosity.”
Mark
it was a toss up between gryffindor and hufflepuff for this cutie

“Mark Owen is likely Gryffindor. Gryffindor values bravery, daring, nerve, and chivalry, which are qualities that align with Mark’s public persona. As a successful musician who consistently performs in front of large audiences, he undoubtedly possesses the courage and boldness required to take risks and push boundaries onstage. Additionally, Owen has often demonstrated loyalty to his bandmates and his fans, showcasing a chivalrous side that further supports his potential placement in Gryffindor.”
Robbie
either slytherin or gryffindor… but i went with slytherin because when slytherins want something, they really go for it and will do whatever it takes. nobody talks about a slytherin’s bravery enough and they are judged often… rob is a sweetheart and yet some people only see the persona they are shown. also slytherin is my house so wahey !! 🥰

“Robbie Williams can indeed be placed in Slytherin. Slytherin values ambition, resourcefulness, shrewdness, and determination, all of which are traits that can be associated with Robbie. Known for his sharp wit and quick-thinking, Robbie has consistently pursued his goals and strived for success in his career. His ability to adapt to different situations and his resilience in overcoming challenges demonstrate the cunning and resourcefulness that are characteristic of Slytherin. Additionally, his ambition to constantly push boundaries and explore new creative avenues makes him a fitting member of the Slytherin house.”
Howard
ok so sue me but hufflepuff look how sweet he is

“Howard Donald is likely to be in Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff prioritizes fairness, justice, patience, and loyalty, all of which are qualities that resonate with Howard’s personality. As a member of Take That, he has shown great teamwork and loyalty towards his bandmates. Additionally, his humble and down-to-earth nature aligns with the values of the Hufflepuff house, which emphasizes hard work and fairness rather than seeking the spotlight.”
and… Gary!
i meannnn it was either hufflepuff or gryffindor imo!

“Gary Barlow is a perfect fit in Hufflepuff due to his hardworking and loyal nature. He dedicated his career to Take That and worked diligently to achieve success, which showed his commitment and perseverance. Additionally, Barlow's loyalty to his bandmates is notable; he has always prioritized their well-being and stood by them through tough times. His reliability and dedication, coupled with his humility and down-to-earth attitude, make him a strong candidate for the house of Hufflepuff at Hogwarts.”
this is my first time doing one of these and getting the text where I wanted was near impossible lol. i hope you enjoyed <3

I was not expecting the Robbie Williams monkey film to make me cry but here we are... as a Brit I am obviously very familiar with his music but I don't know much about him as a person, I wasn't expecting it to be so sad (even though it had a happyish ending)
The monkey thing was definitely a memorable schtick and actually I kind of stopped noticing after like 10 minutes or so? Weirdly I found the Knebworth concert scenes more immediately jarring because I grew up a 10 minute drive away, have visited several times so I know it well and it was odd seeing it on screen like that (hope I didn't dox myself there oops)
I hadn't been to the cinema in ages and had a crappy week so thought I would do something fun. I am not sure if this film was the best choice for that lol but I enjoyed it and am glad I saw it. I really would recommend it, although tread carefully if you have a Difficult relationship with your father

in a conundrum because I have this big like idk what you would call it, it's not a story or something (yet) just kind of a lot of ideas about a universe where liamon and gallaghercest both happened. where liam gets into this on and off again fling with damon but it's super toxic because he's only doing it when he's upset with noel and he's trying to make noel jealous and of course damon is oblivious to everything. I imagine he'd also be doing the same thing with robbie williams as well. but like no one wants to write about that because a lot of the liamon shippers are unfortunately pretty anti gcest, it's literally like the split between hellers and wincesters so idk. maybe I just have to add this to the "write it yourself" pile lol

Hi! Can you do Headcannons to start off? You can do whatever you want!!🧡
Sure! I was listening to Candy by Robbie Williams and this just popped up, hope you like it!! :) <3
(I’ll also do the datables later!♡)
The Brothers with a Bubbly but Shy MC
Lucifer❤️
At first he doesn’t really care
Shows the least bit of interest in MCs kind hearted gestures when they first come to The Devildom
Will act like it’s a waste of time sucking up to him
(but he super lowkey likes it)
Doesn’t want admit but misses MCs smiles and giggles when they aren’t themselves some days
When he compliments the coffee MC made for him one day, he saw how quickly her face went red- Realizes how easily they get flustered
Starts to tease MC because it boosts his pride
(because his heart goes sicko mode when they blush)
Finds MCs hugs also make his heart go wild
Keeps them around as a major stress reliever
“Diavolo needs you to fill this out-“
Mammon💛
At first he doesn’t like MC but then OBVIOUSLY he would literally die for them
Lowkey get those butterflies when MC giggles or smiles
Literally could just be being polite and he’d still want to blush
Loves MCs hugs because it lets the Great Mammon protect ya’
(He’s just in love bro)
When he got MC a gift for the first time and saw how red they got, literally sends him to the Celestial Realm
Realizes they also get flustered really easily too and finds it F*CKING ADORABLE
Will come behind MC and give them hugs just to see they’re face heat up when really his is too
Just the sweetest pair like look at them making each other blush like that💔
Leviathan💙
Doesn’t pay much interest in MC in the beginning, because f*ck normies.
When he starts to warm up, he notices how MCs smile makes him feel tingly and nervous
Gets super excited when MC giggles at one of his jokes
Immediately would degrade himself because he’s just a ‘Yucky Otaku’ (💔)
“They only laughed because they feel bad for me”
When his hand brushed against MCs when passing the controller, literally a deer in headlights
Started sputtering nonsense about how blushing is normie stuff and blah blah
(Obviously his heart’s about to burst and his face has created a new color)
Lowkey loves how MC get just as flustered as he does
SO. MUCH. BUTTERFLIES??
“W-w-whatever, Normie-e”
Satan💚
Stupid Human. Did they really think he wouldn’t see through the kiss-ass act?
Turns out it was never an act, MC was just, Happy?
Is intrigued by how easy it is to be happy and forgiving, because he’s never had it like that
MC has started to make him want to be like that too, it’s tiring always being angry
Starts asking MC to come read something with him just to spend time with them
See’s the red flare up on their cheeks when he said that this character reminded him of MC
Starts purposely comparing MC to the glorious characters of his novels just to get them riled up
Secretly starts reading Romance more, just for some ideas-
“Maybe MC will like the dominance the prince possesses over the princess-“
Asmodeous💞
Thought it was his charm at work when really he realized MC is just like that
Immediately noticed how easily flustered MC because he obviously said something within minutes
Definitely just wants to tease MC
Loves knowing he can make them go 50-shades-of Red doing the bare minimum
Thinks MC is literally the cutest thing ever, after him of course
(Although he do be feeling kinda threatened 🚫🧢)
Loves how bright MCs smile is, literally in love with the little cloud of hearts always hovering around them
Invites MC to his room for important matter which is obviously an entire spa day because self care>>>school and responsibilities
Maybe tries to go a little farther if MC doesn’t pass out before hand because hearts be pounding
“Here is my favorite anti-wrinkle cream! Use it every night and you’ll still have your gorgeous smile with smooth skin in 50 years!! ♡”
Beelzebub🧡
Likes MC from the start, because ‘They are very sweet, and I like sweet things :)’
He enjoys the company, MC makes him feel a lot better even though Belphie is gone (💔)
Loves MCs food and goes ‘:D’ when they offer to make him food or try out a new recipe
At first was concerned when MCs face went really red after complimenting their food, ‘maybe they ate something too spicy? :(‘
Concerned Beel.Exe
Realizes it was his compliment that made MC blush and thinks ‘Cute. :)’
Will ask MC to feed him just to see them blush like crazy
He l i k e h u g
Beel MC
↘️ ↙️
Being Wholsome
>🤝<
Belphegor💜
Thinks MC is a fool for being so kind and forgiving
“Stupid Human”
Actually kinda feels bad about manipulating such a wholesome person (💔)
After all that drama (totally didn’t almost murder them lol haha what are you talking about)
Starts to flake because MC is just so ‘:) <3’
Peeked his eye open when he fell asleep on MCs lap to see them blushing profusely, and he realized they really are just ’:) <3’
Loves feeling them heat up after he pulls MC down for mandatory nap and cuddles time :)
Belphie has the sweetest smile and it seems like only MC can bring it out :D
(-_-)zzZ

“It’s a fake article apparently.” The quotes from the parody account are fake, but there is real article about Harry Lambert in The Times.
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/meet-harry-lambert-the-a-lists-secret-style-weapon-8ml3q06jl
Meet Harry Lambert, The A List’s Secret Style Weapon
Whether it’s Harry Styles’s internet‑breaking cardigan or Emma Corrin in head‑to‑toe Miu Miu, he’s the stylist responsible for the hottest celeb looks of the moment. So how did a former River Island shopboy become the man influencing the way we dress today?
In February 2020 Harry Lambert was helping Harry Styles get ready to perform on NBC’s Today show. Lambert, an affable, bright-eyed 34-year-old, had been Styles’s stylist for a good five years by then, helping the One Directioner develop a distinct visual brand — and yet Styles still wasn’t quite sure why Lambert was so insistent that he wear a bright, multicoloured patchwork cardigan by JW Anderson.“I remember him saying, ‘OK, I love it, I just don’t know why we’re wearing it for rehearsals,’” Lambert relays from his east London studio. But the stylist had “a weird feeling”, he says with a little smile. “I was like, ‘Wear it for rehearsal — I promise you.’”The choice of the garment, and the knowledge of when and where to wear it, sums up Lambert’s gifts neatly. Pictures of Styles promptly went viral, so much so that the cardigan became a TikTok craze, with fans trying to replicate the knit at home. By the end of the year the V&A had announced it was buying the original, since it said so much about fashion in 2020. “It makes me a bit giddy, I guess,” says Lambert, to think that this moment he concocted will sit in a national collection for ever.
Right now Lambert can lay claim to being one of the most influential stylists in the world. The Styles collaboration is of course his calling card: a parade of eye-raising and/or mouthwatering outfits that have progressed from a much-memed floral suit at the American Music awards in 2015 to a couple of feather boas at this year’s Grammys and a Gucci women’s handbag at the Brit awards last month. His few other celebrity clients (it’s an elite bunch) include Emma Corrin, who, in the absence of any awards ceremony red carpets to be seen on following her star turn as Princess Diana in The Crown last November, took to Instagram to showcase a series of exciting, adventurous looks; and also her Crown co-star Josh O’Connor. It’s no surprise that, along the way, Lambert has become a name in his own right: his Instagram account boasts more than half a million followers. And to think — the Topman in his hometown of Norwich turned him down for a job as a teenager because “I wasn’t cool enough”, he giggles. He got one instead at River Island, where he was occasionally allowed to style the mannequins in cardigans of a somewhat less avant-garde calibre.Lambert, dressed in shorts, T-shirt and a plaid shirt, is sitting in his whitewashed studio surrounded by clothes racks for each client and mementoes from friends. He was an up-and-coming stylist, with lots of edgy editorial work and a long stint working for Topman’s head office on his CV (the brand did eventually hire him), when industry insiders introduced him to Styles in 2014. The 1D megastar was setting out his solo stall (1D would officially split in 2015) and Lambert brought racks filled with pieces by JW Anderson, Saint Laurent and future long-term collaborator Gucci on the hangers. He got the job the next day.“Harry has always been interested in fashion essentially,” Lambert says. “You could kind of tell already from the way he was dressing and the decisions that he was making with brands. So there’s never been, like, a battle. Everything with Harry is super-collaborative and it’s always been, it sounds cheesy to say, heavenly, but … !”
The two are clearly mates — they call each other Susan and Sue (Lambert is Susan), and a poster from Styles, signed “To Lamby” (his other nickname), has pride of place on Lambert’s desk. From the way he tells it, neither has blinked when it comes to the sexy, campy, gender-twisting work that has made Styles stand out from his peers. Indeed, other boy band veterans — Robbie Williams or Justin Timberlake — never tried anything this visually brave. But Lambert is clear that this isn’t just him dressing a marionette: “I think it’s part of his, you know, part of his character — it’s part of him. I never want it to feel like he’s wearing a costume, I never want to feel like something is wearing him. We’re not doing it for lols — it should feel like part of the performance or part of the whole, you know?”Lambert admits to finding online critique culture overwhelming, but he points out, slightly apologetically, that most them, for him, have been good (no doubt partly thanks to the millions of Styles superfans). “I’m lucky that I have a lot of positive feedback. But when I see something that is negative, you remember that so much more than the positive things. I used to be like, ‘Social media doesn’t bother me,’ but it does kind of f*** with your head.” Still, he’s all for it: “What’s worse — being so boring that nobody talks about you?” As for Corrin, they actually met at a Styles gig and the two became friends before she asked him to work with her for the media blitz for The Crown. “There’s something about her energy that’s just so infectious,” he raves today. Many have loved her appearances in fashion-forward London brands such as Knwls (a stringy black sheer party number, showcased in a lift), or more eccentric insiders like new-era Schiaparelli and Miu Miu. For Lambert, who loves to champion up-and-coming British brands such as Maximilian, SS Daley or his good friend Harris Reed, it was a no-brainer. “There’s a tendency sometimes for young actresses or young talent to make them look older or more ‘mature’. People are trying to hurry them along.” Corrin may be a leading lady already, “but she’s young too, and cool”, he reasons. “We didn’t want it to feel stuffy.”
Being a stylist is a star turn in itself now. In the glory days of the Noughties Rachel Zoe styled the likes of Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan in a very Zoe way (big sunglasses, bigger bags, gladiator sandals and anything boho). She has been followed by the likes of Karla Welch, who has put clients such as Tracee Ellis Ross and Elisabeth Moss in considered yet still fashion-forward choices, and the other current hot favourite Law Roach, who earned the respect of the entire world for decking out Céline Dion in Vetements. Lambert’s contribution is to blur not only genders, a bit, but also the distinction between “editorial” (traditionally edgy, fashy) and “red carpet” (which is to say glossy, a bit staid).Lambert finds most red-carpet dressing fearsomely dull, to be clear: “I really cannot see another black tie! Just no. No, thank you.” The last “iconic” red-carpet moment was, he thinks, Rihanna’s omelette dress at the Met Ball, and that was 2015. In fact what has really got him buzzing is RiRi’s latest series of outfits papped as “she comes out of restaurants, goes up escalators … it looks so good”, he says. “It’s better than most of what’s on the red carpet!” Back in Norwich, Lambert had no clue what a stylist was when he was growing up. The child of a policeman dad and a nurse mum, he had an extensive interest in clothes but no knowledge of fashion per se. It was only when he went to study photography at the University for the Creative Arts Rochester, in Kent, that he was alerted to it. He interned at fashion magazines during his summer holidays, then started working for a senior menswear stylist, and then the position at Topman came up. He speaks fondly of home — he says his dad is quite a “flamboyant” dresser, actually — but admits it took everyone a minute to suss out what he does. “Even up until five years ago my parents would tell people, ‘He’s a stylist,’ and they’d say, ‘Oh, he does hair?’

And there's also the misogyny apparent on your page, and the thinly-veiled homophobia surrounding Jerry. I was actually quite shocked by the way you laughed about him beating his kids in that one video, and your horrible little "I don't think he acted on it" in the discussion surrounding his possibly being bisexual - 'acted on it' like it's a compulsion, that's so horrible. Plus your confusion about Jerry not doing Some Like It Hot. Maybe he just took drag seriously? Your queerphobia is showing.
LMFAO WHAT???? I’m pretty sure I know who this is. Nerigby96, since I asked why you block me but still reblog my posts. If you have such an issue with Jerry spanking his kids, then why are you still a fan of him or Martin and Lewis. Get outta here. I was spanked as a child much more than Jerry spanked his children, which was literally twice according to Anthony. It was common place in the 1950′s and 60′s. My dad was whipped with a switch from damn tree. My mom was spanked constantly as a child, and that is just the way it is in Hispanic households. In fact if you look at some of the comments from people on that video, there are people who can’t believe Anthony or take him seriously, because in Latino and African American households, children are spanked every day STILL. My mom grew up in all that and it’s commonplace, so are you going to call those communities abusive for discipling their kids in the way that they see fit? Spankings on a child’s bottom, are not abusive. However hitting them elsewhere is definitely abuse. I was not abused and my family members were not abused in reference to what you said in your other ask. I never laughed about Jerry spanking his kids, so wtf? I have always said exactly what I said here.
I’ll just respond to your other ask here:
“ Why do you act like what Jerry did to his kids was just 'discipline' or 'spanking'? It's either ignorance or willful obfuscation at this point, seeing as in the 1960s he bragged on TV about beating his son with a belt and leaving welts. I'm really sorry that you and your family members experienced abuse too, that's awful. Abuse is not a hierarchy, though, and it's awful to say that because you and others had it 'worse', that other 'varieties' of abuse are okay. I love Jerry but he was an abuser. “
You can just piss off. Stop being a fan if you’re going to be so hateful to Jerry Lewis and lie about him. Patti Lewis was abused as a child, and she would never have married someone who was abusing her children. She didn’t put up with it from her parents and left when she could. Jerry Lewis was practically abandoned by his parents. You’ve got a method of disciplining children from the past which literally everyone did, and you’re trying to think of it in today’s views? Please. And I have no idea what kind of queerphobia bullshit you are trying to accuse me of, but sorry you’re an idiot. Jerry Lewis literally said he didn’t like doing drag and he explained it in an interview from 1963, which is sadly not online anymore, but he literally said he didn’t like doing it. Which of course is odd because he did it in his solo film Three On A Couch, and some Jerry Lewis show specials. So I think Jerry was just contradicting himself when he was saying that, and that he did think it was fun to do in order to be silly or get a laugh. Was he doing it to be a professional drag entertainer, absolutely not. What exact misogyny is on my page? lol I think you’re just trying to throw out every term you can think of to attack me with absolutely nothing to back it up.
It is my personal opinion that Jerry Lewis did not have sex with another man. I don’t care if you have a problem with that. Just because you want him to have had sex with another man, doesn’t mean it actually occurred. Did he kiss and have crushes on other men, absolutely? But there is literally no evidence to support that he indeed had sex with another man. If you want to show me proof where actually said he did, or someone else besides the FBI said he did, I would be happy to change my opinion. The closest he might have had sex with a man, may have been Tony Curtis since something definitely happened there to make them fall out with each other. I don’t he and Dean had sex with each other. You can still be bisexual and never have sex with either the same or the opposite sex, or not have sex at all for that matter. It doesn’t make you any less of a bisexual. Singer Robbie Williams always claims that he is bisexual, but could never go through with the sex part with a man. Those were his own words! Now I don’t believe him, and there is more evidence of him actually having sex with Gary Barlow and others, than there is of Jerry having sex with men. We just don’t know. Jerry had a compulsion to cheat, so yes “acted on it with men” would be the correct term as would he acted on his cheating instincts with women, would literally be the same thing. Either way he would be a cheater. Some people don’t act on their feelings whatever they may be sexual or non-sexual, and the term literally is not an offense to anyone’s sexuality at any time. But you want to find fault with everything I have to say. Also my friend Audi in the video you are referring to, is himself gay, and he found nothing wrong with my statement. In fact I just showed him, your post, and he thinks you're a nutjob. In fact he doesn't even think Jerry was bisexual at all. I'm the one who brought up that he likely was.
Definition of act on/upon
: to use (something, such as a feeling or suggestion) as a reason or basis for doing something. They never acted on the information they had. It's okay to feel angry or jealous, but you mustn't act on those feelings.
Anyway I really don’t care what you think, because most people aren’t crazy enough to go off on a tangent like this. Most people love what I have to say on Jerry Lewis. So again piss off whoever you are. Do yourself a favor and leave the Martin and Lewis fandom if you’re so easily disgruntled by my opinion, because I’m literally everywhere. I’ve put the most amount of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis content online, and at least half of it wouldn’t be there without my blog or my youtube channels. So remove yourself. You don’t know me at all.
And I'm sure the only reason you commented here instead of my actual youtube video is because you're an anonymous coward, and you know that Audi and others would come and kick your ass in the comments section. Audi has roasted people before and he will again.

I watched Mark’s program and it was okay, although I’d hoped he and Steven would’ve shed some light on their choices but they didn’t. Apparently there’s a podcast, so maybe they did it there.
Anyway, the last episode was mostly about death and quite a downer and had long boring dialogue bits and seemed like a Doctor Who episode. Especially in the beginning. Oh, and it was anti-cremation. Lol.
What’s with all the sun worshipping? It pissed me off calling it a she earlier but I thought they just did it because it was meant to be a surprise, as in he’s not talking about a woman. Should’ve stopped there. And Dracula having these fears for centuries and none of them were real? What an idiot. Besides, they already made it clear that he absorbs his food’s ideas, like the fear of crosses. So who was he drinking to get his special fear (and love) for the sun?
One woman in Mark’s program said something about Dracula being handsome making it more believable that women would fall for him. Well, I didn’t quite get what Lucy saw in Dracula and the whole thing was weird. Not in a good way. Even though she looked pretty spooky afterwards. And of course there was this loyal guy she’d never loved in life who then managed to make her properly dead.
And there were women’s rights and abusive hubby stuffed in the fridge. Dull. Boring. Predictable. I’m waiting for someone bright to dissect the female characters and point out all the crap. Well, I’m still waiting for someone to do that for Good Omens, so maybe it’s no longer a fashionable topic.
There were too many characters, no time to get attached to anyone really, and not much interest in what happened to them. In the whole show, I mean. But even Dracula and Agatha/Zoe’s relationship seemed a bit pointless. They weren’t really friends, definitely not lovers, and I don’t understand why she was so intrigued by him while he had zero interest in making her his best bride or whatever. Should I be affected by the way they died together? Meh. I was more touched by Lucy’s funeral.
Speaking of which, loved the music, not only Robbie Williams, which was a good choice and for the maybe best scene in the episode, but all of it. Can’t say I paid any attention to the music in the previous episodes but it was excellent here.

Yup ive lived round stoke since forever! another really weird/funny thing about stoke is that everybody has some kind of connection to robbie williams (eg for me his nephew or something went my secondary school so he gave us like a signed record for whatever reason lol) I can imagine Murdoc having some weird ass connection too! Also yeah Murdocs voice sounds nothing like a stokie accent! 1/2
A stokie accent sounds like a watered down liverpool accent so he must have put in some fair effort to get rid of it! another fun little thing about stoke is that everyone is obsessed with a food called staffordshire oatcakes! look them up online but im pretty sure murdocs diet as a child consisted purely of them bless, kinda feel like they maybe a comfort food for him maybe even if they do remind him of his childhood 2/2
Asjkdsjd thank you so much for sharing all of this! I’m glad my memories about his accent weren’t imagined. Him deliberately trying to get rid of it (idt that’s something you do by accident, esp since he was living there into adulthood) gives me all sorts of feelings :’( and ideas. I’m going on a tangent here but iirc 2D mentions him landing a role in a musical in G-Magazine. I wonder if there’s an inner theatre kid in there, and I wonder if that was an unexpected result born out of his younger self doggedly trying to learn different accents to replace his own because he had a goal to leave and erase himself/that period of his life as much as he could (at least at first)
And him loving oatcakes would make a lot of sense esp. if it’s a local favorite. Nostalgia for a childhood things (i.e. food, games, tv show etc.), regardless of the context, isn’t something many of us can escape, thought it may come with mixed emotions like you said.

There is no sabotage either, he's just very difficult to work with and has already been rude to my friend. //
He might have been difficult to work with but no sabotage? Like I didn't believe all rad theories of Sony sabotaging his career but how do you explain the media blacklisting then? Like that's not a theory we can see it. There's something fishy going on over there for sure. And I can't believe a person who took the lead for 1D behind the scene would be so difficult to work with more like maybe he was standing up for himself cuz they didn't believe him maybe. Turns out to be true doesn't it since he has done really well this year on tour.
Also doesn't this seem like a perfect way to start LT2? Make everyone believe without a doubt the official narrative. He is out there with a 6 yr old son and long time girlfriend. Eleanor goes to X-factor backstage and calls him my boyfriend in front of Robbie Williams n others. He is not in a glass closet like Harry. Ofc a newly joined BMG employee is not going to know about it.
Truth be told, the “no sabotage” sentence caught my attention, too. How would a BMG employee be able to speak to anything that happened under Sony? It was… oddly specific. Anyways, I’m not interested in entertaining the idea that the post was “planted” or something, lol. (I have also been accused of being a plant). I don’t know what happened bts or what that person’s friend heard or saw. But yeah, the vibe was a little off.
