I think it'd be funny if postcanon Falin was able to rationalize everything Marcille did as like. "She was just pursuing her dream of being able to be with everyone she loves and she loves me so saving me was a secondary part of that."

But then she sees Marcille scream and squeak and cry while carefully trapping a centipiede in a cup before gently leaving it outside bc she knows Falin likes bugs and she wants to be less mean to/scared about bugs. And THAT'S when Falin's like "oh she LOVES me loves me i need to put my tongue in her mouth right now"

Lil bit of Helios info. He represses his feelings a lot because as an Eclipse he feels these things Strongly, which especially after learning about other Eclipses is scary for him and he fears he'll hurt people. Even positive emotions Helios is worried will come out in a toxic way, affection turning into possessiveness and so on, so they purposefully try to restrain themselves.

From a meta perspective bolas team did a perfect job in becoming the most popular team and marketing (whether intentionally or not). like its quite impressive to see:

they set themselves up as underdogs day 1

they had a fun insane behavior thing that people were attached to

they had awesome imagery with the gas masks and being red

they had a group of ccs who were very close to each other beforehand and had great dynamics and were great at rp

They streamed all together at the same time

I have to say they did a great job at making themselves seem like the better team and painted blue as the enemy (like its fair of them to have done but anyone can say some of their comments were kinda biased)

the BOLAS chants are peak way to rally people together

Had the advantage of bigger ccs with intesne fanbases

the rivalry with bbh was also fun to see

they were sometimes the targets and victims and losing (highlight sometimes, they were not weak, they won a lot) and did a great job and focusing on that and using it as fuel

In the end they were great at what they did, too good at it, which caused the fanbase to be super biased towards them and some elements of it was what caused so much drama.

New ccs: please be worse at marketing for our sanity

To represent his descent into guilt and his LIES becoming undone.#course as the player i have already used my magatama and seen his 35894 psychelocks. but theyre those BLACK psychelocks #representing his repressed memories taken by the brimhats. also his glasses shatter out of nowhere when you keep presenting evidence #and tartah's testimony etc. and the player is like UHH this guy is A PUPPET MASTER but coco's heartfelt testimony commands the tone #and of course he's someone who has been twisted and damaged by trauma like adrian andrews. the mastermind is of course the brimhats #only me with my magatama knows that... only i can do it. It has to be me.....#just like how as the reader i can see everything about qifrey and i can hold him dear as much as i judge him #whereas if i were oru things would not be ok unless memories can be restored and mentally ill decisions can be illuminated #WELL ANYWAY !!!!! what i appreciate about ace attorney is its ability to mix silliness with seriousness #i cant usually make jokes about serious heavy heartbreaking stuff in witch hat because it is all very intense emotions for me #but i appreciate ace attorney's mix of sincerity and psychological pain and the inherent silliness to being a character in a situation #so.....Get Iguin on the stand. #this question is very hard for me to answer so obviously I have to torment everyone else with it #cause like. like I can really see the potential in either answer. both are feasible #I will say. most realistically. to me. edwin first charles harder #because I think…..I think the reasoning behind the other way around usually tends to be about how edwin absolutely was slower to bond and #open up in general whereas charles hit the ground fucking running #but i don’t think that particularly applies to their romantic relationship #if you mean ‘fell for’ in a general sense rather than a romantic one then yes 100%#but that’s not what im talking about here #I have a few different reasons but generally I think edwin fell first because like… the way he attached himself to charles and accepted him #as his person and etc is so unlike him to do with literally anyone- especially at the point where they first met/the first years they knew #each other. charles just seems to have hit him as something very very special and irreplaceable quite quickly for him to open up the way he #did and change and flourish into a fully realized person because of how safe and worthy charles made him feel #he took to charles with an unusual amount of ease and trust and I think that says something about how charles struck his heart Early #whereas with charles… yes on one hand he did stay on the mortal plane largely because of edwin and absolutely would’ve been impacted by the #tender act of mercy that was edwin reading to him as he died so he wouldn’t be scared. that’s absolutely what got him to trust edwin and to #want to be with him and protect him and so on #but charles would still do that and be like that under intense platonic circumstances I think #but most importantly I just think charles fell harder. when he fell is less important to me here- more important is that by GOD that boy is #down so fucking bad and outright SAYS IT in so many ways that he doesn’t realize– the sheer amount he restates how he’s content so long as #he’s with edwin. how he doesn’t want to be anywhere where edwin can’t follow. would and Did go to hell and back for him. believes him #to be the kindest and most incredible person he’s ever met. prioritizes him above anything and everything. etc etc etc #that’s not to say edwin doesn’t feel a similar amount of devotion– but charles just. really loves him with his whole person. loves him as a #fact of his existence and a piece of his very soul #idk man. it just feels like he is so incredibly smitten and he doesn’t even know it.#like I said though I can see both options and give reasons for both options so this question EATS at me I GENUINELY don’t have a super #strong feeling either is absolutely correct. it’s so difficult to answer they’re both so smitten and have such a history and GRAHHHH #payneland #dead boy detectives #rambling #polls

Im super proud of how this piece came out, especially as it's my first ever sculpture!

The concept is as follows: The dusk warden is a gentle protector, but it's face is off-putting so it wears a mask so as not to scare anyone. Despite this, the true face is far more interesting, and mask or no mask the creature has just as sweet a personality!

i watched the original x-men movies when they first came out, but never bothered to watch the prequel/reboot movies. just randomly decided to watch first class and was reminded what i've always felt my whole life: *whispers* magneto was right

AHA thank u i was mostly just. frantically pulling the "no hetero" card bc farcille is super super always endgame for me and the "marcille has two hands" thing is absolutely not for me and my personal characterization of marcille

i like. can't find it anymore for some reason but there was a farcille fic set just after the shuro confrontation where laios reaches over to hold marcille's hand and ask her if she likes him or if she's just tolerating him too and it was so. the vulnerability. the puppyness.

that safety and security he must feel in knowing that she wears her heart on her sleeve and he will always know when she's unhappy with him because she will absolutely let it be known. the way that falin's first revival was the turning point for the way he felt about her because, for the first time in his life, protecting falin wasn't something he had to shoulder alone. there was finally someone else who cared about her as much as he did (in his eyes, resenting his parents for failing to protect her) and would stop at nothing to save her. the way it must have been proof for him that, not only was falin not alone anymore, he wasn't alone anymore.

idk why i like rather than dislike the fact that his only framework for parsing how he feels about "the first girl other than his sister that he's ever cared this much about" is a comphet romantic lens. like he would have the autism moment of fully assuming that he's in love with her for a while and just like. not? doing anything about it? because he doesn't feel the urge to, nor is he sad that he knows marcille would mostly likely never "feel the same way" about him?

like. he "figures out" that he's "in love with marcille" with all the passion of printing out a label and sticking it onto a favourite scrapbook for organizational purposes. he's equally happy to be her husband or brother-in-law so long as it means she stays close and is part of his family.
