One of my big compulsions is taking a fuck ton of screenshots Just In Case a piece of information is important in like 4 years and I can't remember it (sometimes the information is an instagram post that I might not remember later and of course needs to be recorded everywhere (I will Not be looking at that again)) so today is my transfer 16000 images off my phone admin day (woo)
Like yeah I never looked at any of them and they were completely irrelevant to my daily life, But what if I need them ✨️ later ✨️ (you'll see that the idea of Later is doing a lot of heavy lifting here) OR what if there's a vital piece of information in the mix somewhere that I'll lose forever if I delete them? So: onto the external hard drive they go
This is one of those cases where. Yeah. Ideally I wouldn't take 16000 screenshots in half a year. And YEAH ideally I'd just delete them and not transfer them somewhere else to never look at again. BUT at least I get a clean slate and I can maybe not mindlessly save everything for 2 seconds. It's like. Small wins? Progress. Yknow.
#rangnar rambles#i also use my tumblr drafts this way which is how i have probably 2000 drafts for this blog that are just? like me saving a post for 'later#and then theres too many in my drafts for me to even find *MY* drafts#i need to just hard reset the draft function bc its literally unusable for me#'matt this is all irrational and weird' by god. my irrational thoughts disorder makes me do weird shit? are you fr rn??? 😨😨#i get so stupidly in my own head and then i dont make progress towards Anything#even like a fun sideblog where i can actually yknow. post that 2k nightmare? i just cringe myself out like a dumbass 😔#i feel like ocd thoughts always sound lame out loud (and in my head to myself too)#like the Urgency doesnt come across#like in the moment i am Completely convinced that my national insurance number and bank deets are in there somewhere#and theres suddenly no way on earth i could ever find them again if i delete the picture. so to the hard drive they go#i Would go through that whole thing if i suddenly needed a screenshot from 2019 btw. like the crazy isnt theoretical#ive hallucinated gas leak smells before and woken up my flatmates bc i couldnt convince myself i was over reacting#its just cus the seasons have changed that everythings ramping up but omg its hard to do anything but spiral nowadays#thats a little dramatic but i am losing like. a quarter of the day to my ocd#its like. not great 😬#im not back to convincing myself i gave my dad cancer but i am not letting myself use half the kitchen again#but eh soo la voo we ball#HAH i checked my drafts after this and i was lowballing so hard#5.7k on this blog. 12k on my main 💀. its not funny but it kind of is#this is why youll never catch me running a queue#this is such a miserable post but i do feel the need to not let it sit in the drafts pile. to prove the point i guess 💀💀💀#'no one gives a shit this is your blog' 'oh my GOD WHAT IF PEOPLE GIVE A SHIT' <- omg shut upppp youre so embarassing 🙄#one more time for the gallery: i am like. aware that these feelings are irrational. like i am fine it just takes time for reality to kick in#ANYWAYS what was that who said that that was so weird im gonna go look at old romantic era paintings now#if tam is a screenshot fiend in the next fic u know what happened

Looking at spider info for Spidey and the wiki says he has super jumping. Not just as a result of super strength/speed/agility, but as its own thing. Understandable since apparently jumping spiders make up the largest percentage of spider species!
Apparently they can jump up to 50x their own length. For Spidey that's 100 metres!! But the hilarious part is they manage to do that at such speeds by literally SHOVING THEIR BLOOD INTO THEIR LEGS for maximum thrust. And in humans that kind of rapid change causes momentary sight loss and dizziness.
Forget web slinging and aggressive reflexes, whenever someone startles Peter he blacks out and wakes up five streets over.
#Lowballing the streets tbh the average house is 16m long you could probably fit seven if he was by an open window XD#This happens at the speed of LIGHT. Watch any video of a jumping spider and those guys practically teleport in low resolution#Flash probably thinks he's an invisibility meta#spiderman#spidey#peter parker#Marvel#spider man#miles morales#This would also happen to him lol#Oh btw Spidey has super speed. Like that's a thing. Buster Moon's Total Sing 1 Crime Counter
In a recent rewatch of the Sing movies, I decided to keep a running tab on the amount of crimes that Buster could hypothetically be charged with. And there were... a lot. This list is a lowball estimate in a lot of the numbers provided and I will say that I am not a lawyer, I just looked this all up. So is this perfectly legally sound? No, but then again, neither are these movies. So... have fun!
-----
Failure of payment for employees/Breach of Contract (x4)
At the start of the film, we see that Buster has not paid the stage crew of his latest show by giving them paychecks that bounced and not providing them with compensation after finding this out. We only see four of them, but for all we know, there could be more crew that were out of frame.
Traffic violations (x6)
Okay look, that biking through town scene was cute but bikes are supposed to obey traffic laws and ummm... Buster did not. Man went straight through intersections like he was playing real life Frogger. There were probably more than six to be honest but that's at least the ones we saw.
Loitering
Now this is grey area, but Buster could, hypothetically, be fined for loitering on private property (ie. in the restaurant) since he was never planning on actually purchasing anything from the business. It would be a hard case, but it, technically, has happened before.
Hiring discrimination
While I love Johnny, the only reason Buster did not hire Daniel the giraffe for the talent show was because he refused to make accommodations for the boy's height, which could be discrimination based on either a disability or genetic information. I'm not entirely sure which one Daniel's height would classify as in universe which is why I listed both.
Breach of Contract/Fraud (x7)
Due to the prize money being stated in writing and the talent show cast being hired under the understanding that they would have a potential of getting that compensation/it was available to them, it is illegal that he did continue to lie about that when he had no means or real intention to provide it (I know he tries to get the money, but when he hired them, he had no intention of paying any of them $100,000).
Energy Diversion
Stealing electricity from your neighbors is, unsurprisingly, a crime.
Aiding and Abetting the Delinquency of a Minor
This is only due to Meena was technically an accomplice to the energy diversion since Buster got her to help so, technically it could be argued that its aiding and abetting and she does seem to be implied to still be a kid.
Unsafe Working Conditions (x8)
That theatre is falling apart at the seams and the fact someone got hospitalized as a result only goes to further prove the conditions being unsafe. I really need to read up on OSHA because that theatre is probably breaking all the codes.
Negligence
So Pete (everyone remembers him right?) gets absolutely slammed in the face with a sand bag due to a series of events caused by Buster and ends up in hospital. Not only could he be sued for damages, he could get charged with negligence as well for that.
Trespassing (x2)
When building the water stage for the theatre we see Buster on both Les Calmars's (the restaurant's) private property and on another building's roof to access the water tower. Both are trespassing.
Water Theft
This should shock no one but stealing water from a water tower is illegal.
Vandalism
Plastering the ads for the squids on the front of Les Calmars is vandalism technically so that's fun.
Aiding and Abetting the Delinquency of a Minor (x4)
Buster did drag Meena into helping him with all of this meaning, yes, she has now committed five crimes due to him.
Unsafe Working Conditions (x108)
So I am not gonna count all of those squids. I'm not sure the number is even consistent to be completely honest with you. So we're going just go with it being 100 and move on to the fact that water stage was in no way up to code and created really unsafe environments for all his employees.
Negligence (x108)
His employees were not only trapped in a flooded building due to him but were also in a hostage situation. There is no way everyone walked away scratch free so this is here just as a catch all.
Endangerment of a Minor (x2)
Now, I am solely basing this off headcanon but if not just put these as two more tallies in the endangerment category, but Johnny and Meena seem to be around 16-17 years old in this movie. And, you know, he got them trapped in a flooding and collapsing building.
Endangerment (x112)
This is for everyone else, squids included, he got trapped in a flooding and collapsing building.
Public Nudity
The man changes into a speedo on the side of the road. Might be out of frame but still counts.
Public Menace
Look, this is legally described as "using threats or conduct to put someone else in fear of imminent danger"... and I don't know about y'all but the whole watch party felt in fear of imminent danger watching that bloody car wash scene okay?! They are cleaning the cars with their bodies. That's weird.
Trespassing
The destroyed theatre was property of the bank when they went back to it y'all, that is textbook trespassing. Like Judith even points it out later.
Vandalism
And while cleaning up the debris and making the stage was cool and all, not his stuff anymore so it could be charged as vandalism. It might be a hard case due to them technically cleaning up but still could be charged as vandalism. And even if it isn't, the destruction of the property definitely would be. So pick which one you want to count this as.
Loitering
Remaining on bank property despite knowing he was not allowed to be there is not allowed in a court of law apparently.
Aiding and Abetting the Delinquency of a Minor (x4)
He did encourage both Johnny and Meena to help rebuild the stage, so at the least they would be loitering and trespassing.
Aiding and Abetting (x5)
And this is for the rest of the troupe + Mike which he encouraged to help as well.
Failure to Comply
Another grey area one, but since he was given a verbal warning (that likely had legal backing to it), Buster could technically be hypothetically charged with a Failure to Comply with a court order to stay off the property/leave the property when Judith told him too.
Aiding and Abetting the Delinquency of a Minor (x2)
And the encouraging Meena and Johnny to stay at the show and not just leave (you could argue that was Ash but they are kids and he is their boss so he technically is in charge of them right now).
Aiding and Abetting (x88)
This is a combo one of Aiding and Abetting the adults of the troupe to stay and encouraging the crowd to trespass! He's the host, he is technically the ring leader here, he would get in trouble for it. Also, I'm not counting everyone + there are too many different heights that that count would likely not be accurate so let's just go with 88 and move on.
Final Crime Count for Sing 1: 365 individual crimes!
Buster... why? Just why? One for every day of the year. You did not need to do that.
#sing#sing 2016#sing buster#buster moon#the reactions to the live tally were hysterical btw#no one could believe it#look im not an attorney#this is likely no where near legally sound#but it was fun#i have another for sing 2 for buster klaus and jimmy#so those will be here soon#oh long posts how ive missed you

(Re: The Ginyu Post) 1. If Ginyu had only ever body changed with other mutants, then that might explain why he hadn't encountered the same problem he did with Goku. Goku's power requires a lot more skill to access. 2. Not really relevent to anything but I just want to note that we also see someone who may be a Namekian Mutant: Nail, who Friexa clocks at about 42,000. Though he's also the personal guard of the Grand elder, so it's also possible he reaped the benefits of unlocked potential like Krillin did
Yeah, Nail is pretty amazing for such a short-lived character.
Vegeta should be grateful that the Ginyus showed up because this was probably about to end badly for him.
Jeice's line here has been through some fixing. The original version had him astonishedly reading that Vegeta's battle power is coming up to 20k. This, of course, doesn't seem that impressive since he was said to have been 18k on Earth and, in fact, read at 24k earlier in this very arc.
The line was later revised to set Vegeta's current BP at 30k, following his zenkai from Zarbon.
Viz hedges their bets here by using the original 20k number, but adding "And still rising!" Which is still kinda janky because now Burter's reacting with astonishment to an explicitly lowball estimate of Vegeta's ki.
Either way, uh.
Yeah, if Vegeta had succeeded in starting shit back there, he was about to find out real fast and in a hurry why you don't fuck with the Grand Elder's bodyguard. Nail was about to happen to Vegeta in very much the same way that Recoome later did.
Pictured: An approximate estimation of what Vegeta didn't realize he was volunteering for back at Saichoro's home.
It is a pretty popular theory that the reason Nail is this powerful is because he's already had his dormant power drawn out by Saichoro. It is the logical conclusion. Saichoro can draw out a person's dormant ability from someone and there doesn't seem to be any reason he wouldn't do that for his personal bodyguard and attendant. He does it for Krillin, Gohan, and even Dende.
This is never confirmed nor refuted in the manga. The only explanation ever offered for Nail's power is that he's Senshi Taipu or a "Warrior-Type Namekian". This sets him apart from those earlier 3k BP Namekian fighters, as Saichoro notes that he's the only Senshi Taipu on Namek.
Viz says "true warrior" in place of Senshi Taipu which is kind of a slap in the face to those other guys. Now it just sounds like he's shit-talking the dead. Rude.
But the idea is that Senshi Taipu is the other special class of Namekian. The other being Ryuzoku or "Dragon Clan", the sorts of Namekian mystics who do things like create Dragon Balls. The Nameless Namekian was Ryuzoku - and a prodigy Ryuzoku, at that.
It's weird to me that one is a "Taipu" and the other is a "-zoku". We have Ryuzoku, the corrupted Mazoku, and Senshi Taipu. Why isn't that one a -zoku? But I digress.
Something interesting to note about this is that it retroactively implies explanation for how Piccolo was able to reincarnate himself stronger.
"He broke off a piece of himself that's even more powerful than he is because, uh, of reasons." Kind of a weird thing for him to be able to do, right? Why doesn't our Piccolo ever spit out an egg and make Piccolo III who's 8x more powerful than Piccolo? If spawning copies of himself that are superior to the original is a thing he can do then that implies some brand new options.
The Namek arc implies some explanations. During the Frieza battle, Dende explains to Piccolo that he's Senshi Taipu, so he can't learn mystical arts like healing magic.
But the Nameless Namekian and by extension God and PIccolo were Ryuzoku like Dende. So the implied retroactive explanation for how Piccolo was able to make his new self more powerful is because he reincarnated as Senshi Taipu, trading in the mystical package for pure battle power.

how many people are there in bunnyville?
ive been a little bored today so i thought i'd crunch some numbers quickly to figure out just how big bunnyville is. now of course most of this is wildly unsubstantiated so don't take what i say as gospel or really anything within an ounce of truth. but it's fun thought experiment so bear with me.
quick warning — this is a bit of a long post. proceed with caution.
i'm solely basing this on the episode "community service" as it's a) the only time we see democracy in action in the whole series and i'm a nerd; b) has numbers! and c) i can't remember if they touched on this anywhere else in what remains of the english dub
part I - the poll
so as a quick reminder at the beginning of the episode there's a "judicial phone-in" where citizens vote a la x factor/big brother/other tv show to decide bunny's fate. i've compiled a nifty table for the results, shown below:
So we can gather that at least 1,537,768 people voted in that very short poll. which is a lot, all things considered.
but there is also the issue that we don't have an exact number for how many votes that third option got. the government of bunnyville doesn't keep records on account of being a fictional nation with a dictatorial government but i'll lowball a little and say it's around 1,250,000. additionally, we should account for stan calling the fourth option 1,000 times a second.
so how long was the poll? i hear you cry. the timer shown on screen is very fast, and would probably only amount to four or five seconds maximum. in the episode, there's about a minute between the polls opening and the results being shown, so we'll say it's around a minute and 15 seconds to account for some margin of error. this means stan would've made a whopping 75 thousand calls for life imprisonment. this leaves us with a number of around 1,712,768 people – 1,712,759 of whom wanted bunny to be punished in some way.
so how does this help us calculate bunnyville's population? we can account for cell phone usage in 2009, average turnout for this sort of thing, etc. and that'll hopefully lead us to a number.
part II - what's in a vote?
at its core, this poll is a form of direct democracy. in a direct democracy, citizens vote directly on laws and issues, with the will of the majority (or even just the plurality) making the decision, sometimes in spite of an elected government. good examples of direct democracies (or representative democracies with direct elements) include switzerland, liechtenstein, and ireland. so let's use some turnouts to decide what percentage of bunnyville's population voted in the poll
one problem is that turnout in referenda varies wildly. the average referendum in switzerland has a turnout of about 45–50%, but referenda in singapore and scotland have had turnouts as high as 80–90% – so how important is the issue of bunny maloney to the general public?
on the whole, it's clear the protecteam have a tendency to dominate the news cycle a little, so we'll place the referendum at a bit higher turnout. obviously not too high, maybe just around 60%. i'm sure that's reasonable.
doing a reverse percentage calculation on this number gives us a result of 2635027.692, which we'll round up to 2,635,028.
part III - mobile telephony
there's a lot of statistics to deal with in terms of phone sales and phone ownership, but as i live in the uk and the world revolves around me i'll be using figures from the uk.
uswitch states that in 2009 only 28% of people used their mobile phones to access the internet, suggesting quite a low usage. however, according to statista, in 2009 81% of households in the uk had access to a mobile phone, quite the increase from even just a decade before. however, this number only accounts for households and doesn't take into account individual people. another statista figure states that only 44% of people used a smartphone in 2011, a few years after the show's premiere.
so which of these numbers do we use? all of them! i took the average of the three and got 51%, which may seem a little low for a population as tech-obsessed as the bunnyvilleans but it'll do.
so doing a reverse calculation with this percentage gives us an answer – 2,635,028 is 51% of 5166721.569, which we'll round up to 5,166,721.
part IV - a minimum age
if there's one thing that telephone polls and referenda have in common, it's a minimum age to vote. as is standard across most of the world, we'll be setting this at 18 years old. according to the 2021 UK census, 20.7% of people in the uk are aged between 0 and 17. that is to say, 79.3% of people were over 18.
this is a farely simple one – 5,166,721 is 79.3% of 6515411.097. we'll round this down to a final number of approximately 6,515,411 citizens.
part V - what does it all mean?
so – bunnyville has a population of around 6,515,411 people. this is quite a respectable size for a city and indeed a country – bunnyville would be the 46th largest city (with a population slightly larger than zhengzhou and rio de janiero) and the 109th largest country (with a population a bit smaller than all of serbia) in the world. while it's not the largest in terms of cities, it is very large in terms of city states (though only because the bar is so low). it far exceeds states such as the vatican, monaco, and even macau in terms of population, and is even larger than singapore. by my calculations, only hong kong is larger in terms of citystates.
could this mean bunnyville has the cultural impact some of these other countries have? maybe! but given how insular the city tends to be (both literally and in the sense that we don't really see much of foreign lands in the series) i'd argue that the little dictatorship serves more as an oddity the rest of the earth gawks at rather than some powerhouse of culture and advancement.
or i could be entirely wrong. you decide!
part VI - tl;dr
it's around 6 and a half million people
#bunny maloney#i'm not entirely sure why i did this#if anything it took way too long#but i had my fun#so i guess the real population of bunnyvile was the friends we made along the way

It really shouldn’t be surprising Hakuba is strong he’s a modern Holmes like Shinichi and Holmes casually straitened a fire poker a villain bent to intimidate him. Wouldn’t surprise me if he worked on being surprisingly strong just because he wants to be like Holmes.
Mm yeah.
I always kinda forget that Shinichi’s that strong, too, since most of the times we see Shinichi, he's actively melting from poison... but yeah, he's pretty strong.
And as far as the Gosho boys go I had honestly always thought of Hakuba as being physically stronger than Kaito or Shinichi just by pure merit of being bigger (he's a little taller and wider canonically, but I tend to make him a bit taller than that still). But like while its safe to assume that as a sherlockian detective he'd take up some kind of hobby or sport to train his body I’d really just thought of him as being strong in a casual way.
Strong enough that he doesn't sweat when he's chasing after Kaito. Sure. Strong enough to lift a person? Yeah probably, there are any number of reasons a detective may need to carry someone-
But what really got me was how effortless it looked.
My boi didn't struggle.
He Strong.
Let's break it down (cause I assume no one asks me these things expecting me to be normal about them). Fair warning there’s about to be a lot of estimates here:
We know Hakuba is 180 cm (5'11") and 65 kg (143 lbs). These are numbers Hakuba gave us himself so they could be inflated, but it actually tracks with the height that we have for Kaito so Im just going to assume this is correct.
Now then the numbers we have for Kaito are 174cm (5'7") and 58kg (127lbs).
Making Kaito approximately 89% Hakuba’s weight.
And of course its going to be quite a while before this case gets animated so we can't have a exact measure of how long he was holding him, so im going to lowball it and say it was 3 minutes, maybe I'll revisit this when its animated.
And maybe I’m projecting... but it would mess up my back if I held that much weight for that long.
#dcmk#asks#hakuba saguru#no idea why this bit has impacted me so much#i am more focused on this than i am on the panel that looks like Hakuba give kaitos butt a grab#i consider myself unexpectedly strong but i also have scoliosis... i could not do this#my back would object so hard the phoenix wright soundtrack would start playing

How many picarats do you have so far?
Bear in mind that I don’t check very often. I have more than enough to access whatever bonus content I desire!
As much as I wanted to reference this, I actually decided to do some math! Over the course of the mainline games, which is about 3 years in universe, Layton and co can earn 40,812 picarats. That’s an average of 13,604 a year! So taking that number and applying Hersh’s age, 37, we get 503,348! I know he probably wasn’t solving puzzles as a literal baby, but since I know this man is doing puzzles offscreen, I feel like this number is actually lowballing it.
#please don’t let my picarats intimidate you! solving puzzles is a hobby of mine :)#// do picarats do anything?? can you buy treats with them???#ask#doodle#hershel layton

how many people did misa kill? i usually estimate like 400 but also that’s probably way too little of a number
Yeah, I think that is lowballing it immensely.
I don't really know why there's an assumption around that Misa stopped killing people when she and Light teamed up - Light keeps her around for usefulness, there's absolutely no way he wasn't making her do some of the actual killing during the timeskip. Personally I think she'd have been doing the lion's share of the actual manual labor of writing names (and thus killing people) because it saves Light a whole lot of time do outsource that.
Under this assumption, Misa might have killed more people than Light when just counting volume of actual names written - since she'd have been doing the main killing for the longest period of time out of all Kiras.
But even if you don't share this understanding of their work division, I don't think Misa's kill count is anywhere less than the upper thousands. None of the Kiras have killed less than that.

Just One Question for Trump and Vance: What Is Wrong With You People?
By Thomas L. Friedman, NYTimes Opinion Columnist, July 25, 2024
Ever since President Biden’s Sunday announcement that he would not seek re-election, clearly because of age, I keep thinking about Donald Trump’s and JD Vance’s contemptuous reactions to one of the most difficult personal decisions a president has ever made, and what it says about their character.
“The Democrats pick a candidate, Crooked Joe Biden, he loses the Debate badly, then panics, and makes mistake after mistake, is told he can’t win, and decide they will pick another candidate, probably Harris,” Trump wrote on social media on Monday. He later added: “It’s not over! Tomorrow Crooked Joe Biden’s going to wake up and forget that he dropped out of the race today!”
Not to be out-lowballed by his boss, Vance wrote on social media: “Joe Biden has been the worst President in my lifetime and Kamala Harris has been right there with him every step of the way.”
All they had to say was: “President Biden served his country for five decades and at this moment we thank him for that service. Tomorrow our campaign begins against his replacement. Bring her on.”
I can guarantee you that is what Biden would have said if the shoe were on the other foot. Because he is not a bully.
Biden’s good character shone through on Wednesday night in his dignified, country-before-self address at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office. As I watched and listened, I remembered a lunch I had with him in May 2022 in the dining room next to the Oval Office. After we were done and he was walking me past the Resolute Desk, I mentioned to him a reading-literacy project that my wife, Ann, was working on that she thought might interest Dr. Jill Biden. The president got totally excited about the idea and said, “Let’s call your wife. What’s her number?”
He then took a cellphone out of his pocket, dialed it and handed it to me.
“Honey,” I said, “I’ve got someone here who wants to talk to you."
“I’m in a meeting,” Ann replied. “I can’t talk now.”
“No, no, you’re going to want to talk to him. It’s the president.”
Then I handed the phone back to Biden, who engaged her in a conversation about reading and how much his wife was passionate about that subject, too.
Look, I’ve been to the rodeo — this is what smart politicians do. But there is one difference with Joe Biden that I observed over the years: It’s how much he authentically enjoyed it, how much he enjoyed talking to people outside his bubble and giving them a chance to say, “I got to meet the president. He talked to me!”
That sort of kindness came naturally to him. It brought him joy. And I have no doubt that Trump’s and Vance’s venomous first reactions to Biden’s resignation came naturally to them too.
I’m sure it brought them joy. But it sure left me wondering: What is wrong with you people?

Question for you both. Did you the amount of plot you've condensed surprise you? After all, Tigerstar was the cause of a lot of unnecessary fluff, before and after his death. I can't help but wonder how much stuff is going to be cut and rearranged before you reach the lake lol. -Formerly known as Ravenwing anon, now an anon no longer!
LYNX: Yes and no. A lot of excess fluff in Warriors is due to page-filling exercises of hunting and patrolling and (more relevant to TPB) getting into pointless battles. Time that could've been spent developing characters or culture or going into further detail for the plot. I've yet to see the exact numbers on this, but the core series books are 60k-65k words long, with a full arc being roughly 375k words long. A Kindling is 102k words long, Burning Hearts is 93k, and Charred Legacy is shaping up to be roughly 150k words long, and I have no idea how long the final book will be so I'll just lowball it with 100k words. That's probably going to pan out to 445k words in total, longer than the median length of an arc.
I think Warriors' issues are more of a consequence of focus. They have so much to do, but too little time to do it. I unfortunately wasn't able to read Thunder, but at least from what I heard, Frostpaw developed entirely off-page. Closing out her chapter she is learning to relax and opening up her next she's like, "I KNOW ALL," like, something's missing here. An older example: Into the Wild skips two months from Firepaw joining the Clan to meeting Yellowfang for the first time. The story just tells us he's gotten more acquainted with Thunderclan without letting us see it, preventing us from getting to know his Clanmates and their culture more. Why not develop myths of the Legendary Clans? Why not let Firepaw babysit for Frostfur? Why not let the characters breathe?
Reading a Warriors book feels a lot like being at an airport: hurry up and wait. Hurry along the plot, but then suffer another damn hunting scene shut up shut up shut up no one cares about your stupid mouse this is not relevant to the plot nor interesting in any way.
DULLARD: No longer in the void of anonymity! Welcome!
As for the question, we did actually just cut two chapters for being unnecessary fluff. Those chapters took up an entire subplot in canon and wasted some valuable time. I think you'll figure out which subplot that is once chapters start being posted.
I would say that the changes made to remove fluff aren't what surprised me. Rather, it was the stuff we kept. We largely have the same foundations as canon, just simultaneously condensed and expanded upon. In some areas, we did swap stuff out for something we consider more interesting, but it's remarkable how many things still remain. Granted, they're going to be painted in a different color, but they're still there.
