Felt like doing some physical media art again. I don't do it often, but its fun sometimes.

I saw someone say the other day about how "people who watch playthroughs instead of playing the game are valid, because not everyone has £60+ to spend on them nowadays, and sometimes their console can't play the game, or the gameplay isn't for them and that's something people have to recognise" and HONESTLY YEAH.

Being very autistic, I find it hard to adapt to new games. With anxiety, decisions become much harder and more stressful. So, I'll stick to my comfort favourites.

I also haven't got the budget for a lot of these.

But I love new stories! I still want to know what happens!

So... yeah, I find a playthrough on YouTube, no commentary so I can get as invested as I can be, and... sure, I'll have to do research on how the gameplay works layer, because the ADHD makes watching fights I'm not playing a boring thing. But? I'll pick up a hell of a lot.

And I've lately been thinking of it in terms of - watching playthroughs is to games what reading a book via Audible or whatever is to reading.

You might not be reading the words on a page, but you're still learning the story. And just the same, they're both accessibility tools for those who can't read, or who can't play a certain given game.
