I think I might start blocking those who don't interact with me after a month. Rant under the cut. Not about anyone that follows me.

Me, who just saw the message and couldn't respond before: ...... :/ All I asked was for a trigger to be tagged, it's not the end of the world. Oh well, they really never wanted to put in the effort to rp with me anyways.

( I just hate when people don't read my rules and/or not put in effort to rp with me when I reached out to them several times. I guess it was for the best to go different ways. But dammit, they were so cool. And followed me first! I just don't know anymore. Some words of encouragement would be nice ).

Sorry everyone had to see this but it's just frustrating that people said they would be accommodating for triggers, IM them to talk about things like that and then backtrack.

they want to talk about mental illness and acceptance and how everyone is a little ocd it's cute and quirky and their "intrusive thoughts" are about cutting their hair off and you say yours are about taking a razorblade to your eye and they say ew can you not and everyone is a little adhd sometimes! except if you're late it's a personality flaw and it's because you are careless and cruel (and someone else with adhd mentions they can be on time, so why can't you?) and it's not an eating disorder if it's girl dinner! it's not mania if it's girl math! what do you mean you blew all of your savings on nonrefundable plane tickets for a plane you didn't even end up taking. what do you mean that you are afraid of eating. get over it. they roll their little lips up into a sneer. can you not, like, trauma dump?

they love it on them they like to wear pieces of your suffering like jewels so that it hangs off their tongue in rapiers. they are allowed to arm-chair diagnose and cherrypick their poisons but you can't ever miss too many showers because that's, like, "fuckken gross?" so anyone mean is a narcissist. so anyone with visual tics is clearly faking it and is so cringe. but they get to scream and hit customer service employees because well, i got overwhelmed.

you keep seeing these posts about how people pleasers are "inherently manipulative" and how it's totally unfair behavior. but you are a people pleaser, you have an ingrained fawn response. in the comments, you have typed and deleted the words just because it is technically true does not make it an empathetic or kind reading of the reaction about one million times. it is technically accurate, after all. you think of catholic guilt, how sometimes you feel bad when doing a good deed because the sense of pride you get from acting kind - that pride is a sin. the word "manipulation" is not without bias or stigma attached to it. many people with the fawn response are direct victims of someone who was malignantly manipulative. calling the victims manipulative too is an unfair and unkind reading of the situation. it would be better and more empathetic to say it is safety-seeking or connection-seeking behavior. yes, it can be toxic. no, in general it is not intended to be toxic. there is no reason to make mentally ill people feel worse for what we undergo.

you type why is everyone so quick to turn on someone showing clear signs of trauma but you already know the fucking answer, so what's the point of bothering. you kind of hate those this is what anxiety looks like! infographics because at this point you're so good at white-knuckling through a severe panic attack that people just think you're stoic. even people who know the situation sometimes comment you just don't seem depressed. and you're not a 9 year old white kid so there's no way you're on the spectrum, you're not obsessed with trains and you were never a good mathematician. okay then.

mental illness is trending. in 2012 tumblr said don't romanticize our symptoms but to be fair tiktok didn't exist yet. there's these series of videos where someone pretends to be "the most boring person on earth" and is just being a normal fucking person, which makes your skin crawl, because that probably means you are boring. your friend reads aloud a profile from tinder - no depressed bitches i fucking hate that mental illness crap. your father says that medication never actually works.

you still haven't told your grandmother that you're in therapy. despite everything (and the fact it's helping): you just don't want her to see you differently.

he doesn’t want to be vocal about these things—he wants you to know right away that he wants your affection. a hand to your waist as it gently rubs your hipbone, him burying his face in the crook of your neck all of a sudden, and many more. he doesn’t want to be vocal about these things at all.

it wasn’t like you hated it. in fact, you found it quite adorable that your lover had this side to him. despite being a gambler in… many ways, it was cute how he had such a clingy side to him. although of course, it will always be behind closed doors.

when aventurine came back home to you, he immediately wrapped his arms around you as you felt him mumble into your skin how he’s tired. your hand reaches the nape of his neck as you gently play with the hair in that area. you feel aventurine sigh in relief—who knew that a person like him would end up acting like an exhausted child from the playground when he’s tired? 

“long day?” you asked him. he just mumbles in agreement and you couldn’t help but chuckle at him.

it’s these little moments that reminds you that love is as simple as a comforting hug after a long day.

thinking about after derry, eddie’s living with richie but maybe the divorce isn’t completely finalized and maybe eddie’s not ready to be in the public eye just yet so richie’s still flying solo to the few events he’s invited to after ditching his tour halfway through a set.

but eddie still waits up for him every time because he doesn’t like going asleep alone and he likes knowing that richie made it home safe, and one night he’s watching house hunters when he hears the keys fiddling in the lock and then a metallic kind of clunk and a low swear, and eddie snickers as he goes to open the door for richie.

and his boyfriend has the biggest grin on his face when he sees who’s answering the door, and he forgets about his keys because he’s too busy tugging eddie into the biggest bear hug. he coos, “eddie spaghetti, spaghetti man, my—hi, eds, baby, i missed ya,” and oh, richie’s drunk, and all eddie can do is laugh as he pulls him inside, grabbing the keys as he goes.

“have a good time, rich?” he teases, letting richie hang onto him like a koala bear as he makes his way into the kitchen and starts pouring a glass of water. richie nods and begins telling him all about the night, stumbling through it and interrupting himself every minute or so to insist that “it would’ve been so much better with you there, baby, missed you all night, the whole time.”

and eddie eventually wrangles him into bed and gives him another glass of water and right before richie falls asleep, face mushed into eddie’s stomach, he mumbles, “‘m gonna marry ya, eds, i swear it.”

and eddie can’t help but smile, swiping richie’s hair away from his forehead as he presses a kiss to it and whispers back, “tell me that in the morning,” but it doesn’t actually matter if richie hears him, because now eddie knows that the little velvet box secreted away in his sock drawer is going to go over even better than he’d hoped.

I wonder if Ekko ended up getting curious abt the father/daughter relationship between silco and jinx. I mean, in episode 7 we see a whole alternate universe where silco and jinx are good. I call bullshit if you’re telling me they’re not close over there. So imagine Ekko seeing this and suddenly recontextualizing basically everything he knows abt jinx. Especially if Ekko ends up talking to Silco and realizing he’s not actually that bad of a guy when he’s just hanging out.

I mean, for one, the silly potential of alt!Silco being like “I was a giant dumbass and I needed some damn therapy or at least someone to talk to” and Ekko slowly realizing that maybe the reason Jinx is so fucked up is because her and her evil dad were equally fucked up at the time and just trying to achieve their goals whilst coping, but he can’t say that aloud so what he does say is “huh.” Meanwhile silco is looking at him strange because the dude has the look of someone who just solved the world’s greatest mysteries despite him having heard this info before (in his perspective, at least.)

For two, the angst potential of “hey so I went to another universe where you and your dad Weren’t Evil and he was actually lowkey chill so I wanna know what he was like for you” and for a moment jinx just looks at him in a “wtf” kinda way but then she just accepts it bc That Might As Well Happen (also the added evidence of his little machine and injuries that Were Not There Before) and starts telling him stories ranging from stupid to cute to sad and she’s breaking down halfway through them because lately she hasn’t had that much time to grieve him properly especially since a lot of people hated him so to reminisce with someone who she actually cares abt who is willing to listen and not write her off is therapeutic. Also I just think Jinx absoLUTELY has some hilarious silco stories. They probably bond over the course of the whole thing.
