Archelona is here to join the heroes' side! Still swapping some heroes around, so Alya and Nino are up next. I'm not completely satisfied with her colour scheme yet, but I'll change it accordingly when I figure out what I don't like about it. And Nino and Alya are siblings in this au because I apparently like them with a sibling dynamic more lol

Alya has been working in the same 4-star restaurant since she finished her culinary degree. She's sharing an apartment with her brother Nino, and her life has been perfectly unassuming until she got mixed up in a murder case investigated by the legendary Detective Roux. After successfully clearing her name, she was contacted by a mysterious creature, which gave her the power to assist Detective Roux on a mission to clear the streets of Paris from criminal activity, supernatural or otherwise.

Do yall ever think about how the show takes place over a few months? I think about that dayly and how it makes literally no sense..

Like i get quick friendship but Chat Noir and Ladybug are a bond of like 3 years. Same with Marinette and Alya, honestly they act like childhood friends more. The only ones that act appropriately for how long theyve known eachother is Nino and Adrien. And youre telling me Marinette is *that* obsessed over Adrien after a month or 2??

Its not just relationships either its hawkmoth and the city too. Most of the time it feels like an issue going on for years but then we find out that theyre barely done with the first quarter? Wtf?? Like dont get me wrong i dont want paris under brutal attack by this crazy old man everyday for 3 years but like, it definitely couldve been paced *way* better.

Like he attacks sparsly at first and then after a bit it gets more common and then mayura is added in and then hes like doubling up attacks every day. Or y'know they actually defeat Hawkmoth in a timely manner instead of dragging it out for 5 seasons. Idk im just rambling atp

Rest of the fandom: Noooooo! Chat Noir should have fought against Monarque alongside Ladybug and found out his identity! This was his right! Adrien shouldn't be in the dark all over again! I love miraculous but I think a massive misstep for the show was to barely have the unit of ladybug, chat noir, rena rogue, carapace and queen bee work together. I love the season 2 finale because I think they worked so well together as a unit! Rena and carapace’s banter, chloe being snarky, carapace having chat noir’s back etc. it was so great. Sadly it wasn’t even in heroes day that much because they got akumatised pretty quickly. When I saw it again in miraculer (one of my fave eps) I was so glad they were continuing with it!! (Chloe’s writing in that ep was also rlly good). I wish they kept the group going rather than giving everyone in the class a miraculous (although I did end up liking this more than I thought I would and how it fleshes out the class more). Maybe if Thomas Astruc didn’t hate Chloe :/ (why would u start writing a redemption arc for a character and then stop halfway through like???). But yeah. I wish they had lots more interactions as heroes 😭 at least in season 5 we’ve had mari, adrien, alya and nino hang out again.

Alix wasn't in school with Marinette and the others last school year. If she were in another class like Mylène, she would've showed up, but nope.

Since Alix wasn't even in the same school as Chloé...

Ladybug in this au is a lot more serious, and straightforward. She's very strict in her regiments, I mean she's allowed to be tense when fighting her boyfriend. Especially since she knows it's not who he really is, because she's seen his softer, sensitive side.

And Rena and ladybug are partners!! :)) after Fu realised the black cat was used for misdeed, he moved quickly and gave the necklace to marinette, telling her to pick a new partner. He also told her to disclose her identity because they won't be AS in sync as the Ladybug and black cat would have been so it's important they know eachother completely:)) (cue the bordering on gay alyanette scenes!)

And Fu telling her that the black cat is her literal other half is how she rationalises her interest in chat, and how they got to kissy kissy

Marinette hates Adrien, he never apologised for the gum on the seat, and well, was honestly a dick to her the first day, because he INSTANTLY crushed on her and didn't know how to go about it. He still kept up that "better than you" and "don't talk to me" attitude as Adrien, while also hitting on her then crying in his room when it doesn't work (eg. "Marinette, you will go to this event with me." "No wtf." "Ugh, whatever." *Later* "PLAGG WHY WON'T SHE GO OUT WITH ME *SOBS" "gee, Adrien. Idk. Maybe it's the fact SHE'S DATING CHAT??")

When he's chat, he notices her little crush and decides to go about it in a different way, being kinder and more gentle. He keeps up his civilian persona for consistencys sake and because he has a reputation to uphold :))
