But never forget that the system is rigged, so find a way to acknowledge that but ALSO, always be grateful!

I wish Fiyero’s character in the musical had more emotional poignancy and more development. but on the other hand it’s pretty funny to me that he gets the women-in-media treatment but genderbent - he only exists to be a love interest and to forward the arcs of the female main characters.

Today it randomly struck me that Claire is the only woman in Lost Season 1 that hasn't been married before?? And one of the only women in the entire show to have never been married before.

Kate was married to Kevin (well, really Monica was married to Kevin), and then they split after Kate revealed her identity.

Sun is obviously married to Jin.

Shannon was apparently married before the island.

Rose is married to Bernard.

Juliet was married to fellow doctor Edmund Burke, before he sooo tragically got hit by a bus.

Claire somehow managed to dodge marriage throughout the entire series.

When I say I'm a feminist I don't mean I am against men, I don't mean I loathe the male gender and think females are better in any way

When I say I am a feminist I mean women shouldn't be fearing for their lives whenever they step foot out of the house, shouldn't be called emotional bitches for making our voices heard . I mean rapists shouldn't be let off freely for ruining a woman's life, that women shouldn't have to 'cover our shoulders' because we're 'distracting the boys'. I mean women should not have a hindrance to uptake their basic human rights of safety, respect and dignity.

But I wanna point out how when Erickson finds Brit, she's crawling around with a sharp ass object (probably the one from the bathtub trap too), out of the room, fully ready to protect her lame ass boyfriend.

Meaning, that despite the blood loss, having her entire arm basically cut open, she managed to crawl back to the bathtub, get one of the sharp things, and force herself to stay conscious, walking around the building when she heard noises, to protect herself AND Mallick, who passed out on the floor.
