starting with my conspiracy theorist . his name is pandora calder . 35 but he tells everyone hes 28 . really into conspiracies and the paranormal . works as a cashier at the dollar store and surprisingly has held up that job for multiple years . he is not enjoyable to be around . acts like if a robot was thrown into humanity and had to figure out how to act like a human and the first building the robot went into was a bar . has no filter just says what the fuck ever . trans guy and bi gay 🔥. hes like a soggy wet piece of paper . hes like the "can i try rizzing you up . PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PL" meme . hes also the guy from soft fuzzy man , hes Mist but he has a human form that he uses most of the time . his hair moves and floats like mist in human form . hes like if william afton didnt kill people and was a little normaler

onto the radio host . his name is laz thatcher . 41 . runs a radio show about ghost stories from people in the neighborhood , people come in and he interviews them about their experiences with ghosts . he doesnt believe in ghosts he just finds what people "come up with" interesting . he keeps denying pandora's requests to talk about his conspiracies on the radio show cause its a ghost show man wrong place . pandora only targets specifically laz's radio show because he has a little fag crush on laz . laz is also transmasc t4t ftw .... hes also the guy from lifetime achievement award , he died from getting hit by a got damn car (cringe ass) and got revived . i havent thought too hard about him in lifetime achievement award so i dont know alot of details about it yet . hes a pretty chill guy , way normaler than pandora . gets enough money from the radio show doesnt have another part-time job . hes pretty normal for now but as i work out more about lifetime achievement award he may get weirder

GIR, a robot unit from Invader Zim who often dresses up in a green dog costume, loves waffles and is loud, energetic, sensitive and emotional! (VERY frequent!)

tbh i dont really have a story w/springtrap n y/n...........the thought of making anything y/n and springer related flusters me so bad afijdslkfsjdfksdfj never experienced this w/a character b4 like. making self insert of the dca was EASY! i cant draw/think of anything self insert-y w/springer w/out turning inta a blushing pink mess. i just kinda Draw Him Hot and thats it skfjskdfskdfj any scenarios i think of are just him in isolation as a character. real talk i think that he hangs out in fazbear frights, it burns so he gets out, and he just kind of wanders for a while until fnaf 6

but IF i was ta brainstorm rq......

i think him being able ta manipulate a fazbear frights employee inta letting him out would be interesting. a sort of start of the Cult of Afton idea that fnaf was seemingly building upta b4 security breach (something i was really jiving w/until the game came out and. well. we all saw what they did). this would b his "oh wait im a suave bastard and can use this ta my advantage" moment. he just acts like this pathetic little meow meow and i think that the reader not actually being able to SEE him would aid in this. hes just a disembodied voice begging for help and who are you ta turn your cheek when someone is in need? hes very careful that you dont see him tho (you might not wanna help him if you see him) and you have no idea who this velvety get rough voice belongs ta. and yet he pulls you in, talkin about all the torture hes suffered, how hes gonna get out and "set things right" (hes very vague)

eventually you do see him. in aaalll his whore eyed glory. hes the star animatronic of fazbear frights? AND hes trapped here? well thats doubly awful. never trust corporations afterall, they'll do anything ta make a quick buck, they'd parade around a corpse if they knew it would rake in the dough. he wouldn't reveal much of himself, just enough so that YOU open up and hes able to better cater himself ta your personality. he'd reveal that hes "haunted" sure. you'll buy that. ghosts are real and they can haunt animatronics you dont really need anything else, just ta know that hes suffering here. sure they're boldfaced lies at times, but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. but whoops! in his efforts ta seem like a tragic Little Guy and get in close ta you he accidentally got attached ta you! a horrible decision really. now he feels bad. but hes in so deep. what will he do?

if we follow the canon fnaf timeline where fazbear frights burns i mean. dudes probably hangin out in the woods. not really much of an opportunity ta meet ppl there. if hes hanging out like around the woods of a city maybe he finds himself in some persons house that like,,,,tinkers w/animatronics and/or finds them interesting? and he plays "dead" (ha) as they fix him up. they treat him in such a kind and gentle manner hes sort of captivated by them? like they dont know hes alive obviously but as the days go on and they just continue day after day ta come back n check up on him, clean him up, fix parts of him, talk ta him so gently and treat him as this delicate cherished thing (that he knows he isnt) they grow on him. he'd also probably hear conversations through the walls of the room hes in, and whenever they'd come in maybe they'd talk ta themselves or ta him abt their day and stuff and as he learns more abt them as a person his love for them grows.

AUGHGA the people have spoken. good god i hope this makes sense:

cole death symbolism is fairly well established i think? but here is a list of a lot of the different parts of it just for reference. one thing that stood out to me the more i thought abt it was that his becoming a ghost and s10 “death” both have him come CLOSE to dying, but never actually crossing the threshold. i think i made this post a while ago just talking abt that phenomena in relation to cole.

ALSO in relation to cole and death (which i see ppl talk abt but not necessarily as part of the overall death symbolism he has which i think is interesting) is the older-mirror scene in s5. the writers later made this scene foreshadow his ‘disappearance’ in s5 which. was not done particularly well lol, and so it can easily be reinterpreted. if we assume that, on a narrative level, this scene is not explaining his ability to disappear, but is actually foreshadowing his death. well.

it’s kind of unclear how old everyone is supposed to be when they see themselves in the mirror?? because they are legos but like. they are certainly not super old, which (if we are continuing on the assumption that cole dies before everyone else) means that cole very specifically dies young.

lets come back to that in a minute i have to take a quick tangent about cycles. also something i feel is well established, but its important for background info. one thing ninjago does A LOT of is have its main characters repeat things. both things they themselves have done AND ALSO things their parents/ancestors have done. think nya becoming the sea the same way nyad did, lloyd having to fight the overlord in a never ending loop like the fsm, etc.

the whole deal with cycles and generational trauma etc etc when specifically talking abt cole is centered on his mom; he does almost exactly everything his mom did before she died in s13 (adjusted for the situation) and of course has her element. if this extends to his actions, it could certainly also extend to his death. i think this is more evidence to the idea than anything else? like cole dying young is a continuation of the loop unintentionally created for him by his mother.

to actually return to the point i was making, cole is surrounded by death. he almost dies a couple times, but his death is stopped partially or entirely by some other supernatural force. based on this he could be seen absolutely as a psychopomp/grim reaper, but because of both the s5 symbolism and his mom, im really more inclined to say that he is more doomed by the universe to die at some point. now this is really me speculating and tbh just making things up, but i think this does lend credibility to the idea that the universe itself is keeping cole from dying at these points (s5, s10) because there is some point in the future that the universe has literally decided is the time that he is Going To Die.

and like why??? what is so significant about that (theoretical) death that the universe is literally changing the laws of physics to stop this man from dying? what is so important about this point in time that the whole world is bending over backwards to make sure it happens?

going to get emotional now but like! cole being the first to die of everyone is so crazy to me! cole who is the leader and the oldest and the most mature and the one trying so hard to keep everyone together who dies first, and dies young! just like his mom!! in a world where robots come back from the dead every single year and the children of gods live forever there is one guy who has a point that he can never come back from. despite evading death he is surrounded by it; he cant die yet because you cant fight destiny!! your time will come bitch!!

anyway tldr; i think that cole dies young just like his mom because the universe loves him and has big plans for him. or maybe the universe just cares about perpetuating the cycle whos to say.

gansey and henry are the Same in the way they make friends. they meet someone. they Fit. its strange and peculiar and no one does it like them. all of the raven kids feel the same obviously but its clearly a unique thing for gansey to meet someone and feel this way and them to look back at him and whole heartedly Agree. and im having a hard time articulating exactly why i keep focusing on this Maybe what im trying to say is if henry met gansey when blue did henry and gansey would have been making out by book three which would have been wonderful in its own way BUT

what we have HERE is equally so good for EXACTLY THE REASON WITH THE SWEATER like. henry was ALWAYS going to be a part of the quest. blue didnt know it was henrys aglionby sweater when she first saw the ghost of gansey none of them knew there was a piece missing in their puzzle only gansey realized he fit in so well with their group (everyone else had to he Convinced, ronan and adam didnt even consider going to the toga party. blue, much less so - once the taste of aglionby was less overwhelming she saw it too) but of COURSE he fit in. its his sweater. his robot bee was made by ronans father. fucking maura told blue she should go to this toga party (do you think she Knew) and. god this post has really gotten away from me but i LOVE henry gansey blue so MUCH i wanna see their little road trip SO badly

the gameplay:

hsr is like. a combination of 2 of my fav game series, persona (in its battle system) and borderlands (in its structure), so for me it was an immediate click in that regard

the battles are unique, no boss is the same, even the common enemies have really interesting mechanics that actually require strategizing. there's a lot you can do with your teams, like personally i don't go for the ideal comps only bc i like using the characters i love :P but i can still get through battles mostly fine and relatively quickly

but it's the exploration that gets me the most ngl 👀 the maps are beautiful and have so many nooks and crannies for you to go through, as well as. an unholy amount of objects to interact with and hidden side quests. as a completionist it's extremely satisfying for me to unlock every part of the map and find all the chests in it etc. there are a lot of hidden jokes and lore bits to find everywhere as well as a bunch of npcs to interact with that can offer their own entire stand-alone stories that are super interesting and help flesh out the world even more!!

speaking of. the world + lore:

it's extremely overwhelming at first, but finding one (1) bit to focus on at a time makes it way more accessible - the game's world is. huge. from planets to history to gods to wars and disasters, there is so much to explore and read about. and it's told to you in so many ways, too - through the story and things like side quests is obvious, but there are a lot of readables you can find throughout all maps, and even objects you don't think much about contain stories in their description that offer a lot of information about one-off mentions from the main story (or things that weren't mentioned at all even, really)

the setting really allows for anything to happen in it. like, having a lot of planets and factions, each with their own histories and aesthetics and agendas, lets you have all sorts of characters and stories, like literally anything you could think of. so we have ghosts and cowboys and angels and robots and knights and werewolves etc etc etc and it doesn't feel forced, in part bc a lot of things are set up months in advance sometimes, through the aforementioned readables or item descriptions(/names) for example. it uses a really cool mix of sci-fi and (sort of) fantasy

this makes theory crafting so much richer (like connecting a bunch of seemingly unrelated details into something that makes a lot of sense), as well as let players do things like make their own ocs or expand upon things in their fanworks which is always fun >:3

the characters:

absolutely the biggest part for me. this is kind of a must in a gacha game, but the characters are all either extremely interesting, extremely fun, or both at once. i don't think i dislike any of them - sure there are some i may care about less, but i can still appreciate them and enjoy their stories

each one has their own bundle of short stories to offer some background about who they are and where they're from, which at times really adds depth you had no idea was there from simply playing the game. some have incredible side missions centered around them with really strong emotional highs, or their own super interesting stand-alone story, or lore expansions etc. you get to see sides of them you don't have time for in the main story, or even interact with entirely new characters that haven't shown up before but have connections to ones you know

they're very diverse (personality or lore wise i mean lol) so you're guaranteed to find at least a few that you can really enjoy :3

and! imo. despite it being a gacha game, aka characters should be likable and approachable for most average players to enjoy, some are morally grey or very clearly flawed, which in other games like this may be a risky decision. the game does a good job humanizing even characters you wouldn't normally enjoy or support in other works (also makes you have complete 180s about characters by showing you more of them). this adds a lot of depth and almost all characters have something deep to explore in them or theorize about, especially in the main cast

the story:

due to the game's format, it's divided into different types of missions, but generally there are like 2 main stories going on at once

one is more straightforward and is the one you go through in order to progress with the game. it's divided into standalone arcs for each planet and they each have a different vibe and structure

the other one is more... underneath the surface, if that makes sense, and it is ongoing throughout "side" missions you technically don't have to complete (but you should :P). a lot of really big characters are introduced in it, and it offers a lot of context about things that happen in the main story, or sometimes just gives you more to explore in the worlds you already know. this one is separated into seemingly unrelated stories, but they all offer at least a little bit of information to contribute to this plot

both of these stories are really interesting! there is a lot of hype and mystery through them, and one can't exist without the other. i can't really go into details without giving away spoilers lol but like. trust me. things pick up fast, they're just a bit confusing at first hehe.

the references:

this is gonna sound silly. but. the thing that made me decide to finally play the game was seeing how unserious it is. like my god there are so many memes here (i considered making a section of this post dedicated to the humor but this paragraph may be enough hehe. it's kind of like borderlands imo in a sense that you either enjoy this type of humor or find it cringe, BUT hsr is more varied in its type of humor imo. sometimes is also gets really meta with if which is my favorite thing)

but!!! i'm talking about things like mythology too! there are a lot of small references to real-life mythology or folk stories in the story and especially the world at large, which is 1 extremely cool 2 also helps a lot with theory crafting! like for example, knowing what a certain aeon is inspired by, can give you another way to look at them which sometimes implies things about the story too!

even things like. gem meanings. animal motifs. classic pop culture. etc etc etc. really help with understanding characters beyond what you're told about them on the surface which is really fun!

every planet is inspired by a certain culture (usually a bit of a mix but still fairly consistent) and its felt in really solid ways, they all have their own identity in both the aesthetic, characters you meet, music, and even the story itself sometimes.

oh wait speaking of. the music:

it slaps 👍

and loaded with leitmotifs, clever genre and instrument choices, great production, like genuinely just good music. i watched a video analyzing one (1) song and ended up crying like there is so much there

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY! everyone is a slut 👍 (/j. but i do enjoy the boob windows)

Hey! What do you think are the ninja's love languages?

I’d love to share my thoughts on this! For those of you that do not know the five love languages, they are five ways people might show how they love (obvi not limited to romantic) someone, and speak the way they would like to feel cared for. People tend to love all five, but certain types are special to them. The five are:  quality time, words of affirmation, gift giving, acts of service, and physical touch. I determined each character’s through how they interact with the others. So grab a snack, and get cozy because this is a lot.....

Cole

Cole's love language is definitely physical touch (both giving and receiving). Imagine being hugged by cole like it would be such a  nice hug guys.  Throughout the show, you can see him hugging, touching, or a simply arm on a shoulder as he smiles at them. For example, 

+ when cole hugged zane when he found him in s4, when cole grabbed kai and danced with him, and there are too many to all list here 

and, below are examples of how Cole not only gives affection like this, but also likes to be shown affection through physical touch

anyways I also do believe Cole has a secondary  love language (again, both receiving and giving) , it being words of affirmation. We see Cole as a comforting character throughout Ninjago, like when he tried to uplift kai when kai was upset abt his powers, or when he reassures Zane when he told them he was a robot, by calling him special and saying “you're still the same zane” and remember how happy he gets when someone verbally comforts him as well. 

For example, when Kai and Nya comforted him when he was a ghost. When Cole lost the travelers tea in s11, he clearly needed someone to tell him it was alright and they would get it back. And when his father accepted him, he was so happy yk... like I always wanna see Cole happy pls

Kai

ok so Kai is.. complicated. I feel like we see him do all five of these but I'm pretty confident I've picked out the two most supported ones, in both giving and receiving ends Acts of Service, and Words of Affirmation (with a side of physical touch and quality time. ik. its basically all of them but bare with me).

First of all, let me explain Acts Of Service. This one is pretty self-explanatory ; when Nya was young, Kai undoubtably took care of her and supported them in ways Nya probably doesn’t even remember anymore since she was so young. This was surely his way of showing her he loved her, and showing that he wouldn’t leave her like their parents did. 

  Remember, Kai was attacked by skeletons, he attempted to fight them off for Nya’s sake, despite how scared he must’ve been. When he couldn’t , he become so desperate he joined a random stranger and followed him to an unknown place when this place, this house, was all he had ever known. Protection is definitely an act of service. 

This brings me to my next point: Words of Affirmation. Kai is very vocal about how he loves Nya and the others. Whether it him be saying I love you directly, or complimenting/reassuring others. For example, 

Over here, he reassures Lloyd by telling him how he himself felt, and then telling him he would look after him no matter what. 

An example of how Kai is verbal with Nya is when she gives Kai a bike bc they needed to run away from Ronin. With this, Kai says,” I love my little sister,’’

Another example is when Kai reassures Nya in s10 when nya makes a ‘fatal’ mistake and cole falls off the bounty. He tells her shes the brains, and that she’s always building all the plans. This moment also stood out to me a lot because Kai knows exactly what Nya needed to hear. ( also when he entirely supported her when she told him she was samurai x, and more) + Kai reassured cole that he was still a part of their team even after being a ghost (words of affirmation) and helped Jay propose to Nya and entirely supported/cheered him on through the process (acts of service)

I said quality time bc remember how when his parents came back he was playing video games with his dad, etc - he was clearly having sm fun. Also, Kai does tend to hug/ lean against others quite a lot , as shown in images below Cole’s analysis (physical touch)

Nya

Nya isn’t as verbal or touchy as her brother, and so she’s definitely Acts of Service and Gift Giving. We see this throughout the seasons as Nya constantly helps the Ninja in the beginning by monitoring missions and aiding them through technology, making their missions smoother and easier. And in the later seasons, she could finally help them in person, since she became the water ninja

Now Nya always gifted the Ninja mechs, bikes, gadgets, you name it. I think this habit of hers could be considered both gift giving and acts of service. She tends to do it throughout the entire show, from giving them mechs to climb that mountain to get to the blinds man eye, to all sorts of other stuff the team required.

I do strongly believe the reason why both the smith siblings have acts of service as a love language is because when growing up they didn’t really have anyone else to do it for them. Nya most likely as a child probably made small gadgets for kai as to show him that she loves him, and that gradually continued to the other ninja as well.

However, when nya is on the receiving end, I think she loves physical touch and words of affirmation. This is proven since whenever kai and jay are verbal with her, she always has a positive reaction. Same when Kai and jay respond to her with physical touch- she doesn’t mind it, and happily responds to it as well.

Jay

Jay definitely has three love languages: words of affirmation, quality time, and physical touch (mostly revolving around nya)

Jay is extremely verbal when it comes to Nya, saying he loves her multiple times throughout Ninjago, similar to Kai. However, unlike Kai, who tends to do this to all the ninja, Jay usually focuses on Nya when it comes to verbal expression and words of affirmation. Telling her how they were meant for each other, regularly complimenting her, etc. 

As shown above and below, Jay is also very physical with mainly Nya, kissing her on the cheek quite frequently and dancing with her on various occasions. He loves spending time with her, preferring to go on missions with her than anyone else (as shown in the show, and that's why his analysis is mainly jaya lol)

Jay, when on the receiving end, also loves the same things. He gets extremally happy when Nya responds back to with the same actions. The biggest proof of this is how jay unlocked his true potential: Nya states that she doesn’t need Jay to wear any clothes or pretend to be anything he’s not, because she liked him for being him then proceeded to kiss him on the cheek, which led to Jay turning back human. Afterwards, Nya tells him, “You are the best You,” and with this, Jay unlocks his true potential. 

This tells us a lot about how heavily Jay takes Nya’s words, and how much words of affirmation can inspire/motivate him, so much to the point where he unlocked his true potential!

Zane

Zane’s love languages are probably: quality time and acts of service, with a side of words of affirmation. This applies to both when he shows affection, and how he likes when he receives affection.

Zane has shown multiple times to enjoy spending time with the team. Three examples of this are when he was escaping Chen with Cole (that was fun), when Zane had fun throwing rocks at Kai when Kai become chancellor (guys that was hilarious.) , and WHEN HE AND PIXAL BECAME ‘DETECTIVES’ GUYS THAT SCENE WAS THE BEST

(Also, Zane is sometimes shown to be physical too, as shown here. However the other love languages I stated seem to be more primary outlets of how he expresses affection, this scene still was too cute not to share)

Zane also cooks for the team on multiple occasions, and its stated/implied that everyone loves his cooking. He also bravely sacrificed himself for the Ninja , and as I stated before, protection is an act of service. He also is willing to do any favors the ninja ask him too, and never really turns them down, and that's very sweet. Zane has literally never been ‘rude’ to anyone.

Zane also tends to reassure others, however unlike Cole/Kai he does so in a more logical way. He states facts  about his reassuring statements, and I think that’s an important part of who he is. His interactions with Pixal are also very cute, and I love their dynamic sm. 

Lloyd

Lloyd montgomery garmadon. I strongly believe that our boy loves all sorts of affection, since he was deprived of any as a child ): However, throughout the show I believe his ‘giving’ love language is: words of affirmation, and acts of service. 

We see Lloyd frequently uplifting the Ninja (he is the leader after all),  when they ‘lost’ zane, he reunited the ninja that left, he tried to reassure kai that even without his powers he was important, and he warned cole abt vania (this is an act of service I think? Lloyd wanted to protect cole from being betrayed from a princess like he was and he had good intentions. I think what he did was sweet)+ and various more examples that im sure you are all aware of.

His words of affirmation is not limited to the ninja, for example: when they ‘lost’ zane, he reunited the ninja that left, he led  the Elemental Masters + Serpentine against Chen in the Second Serpentine War and encouraged them all, led the resistance, etc etc. These actions  can also be counted as acts of service too. After all, he leads them and creates plans for them too.

When receiving, I think Lloyd reacts positively to physical affection (like above) and also words of affirmation. He is definitely touch-starved and doesn't mind hugs at all (he loves them in fact). And, words of affirmation are great to Lloyd too, a prime example of this is Kai comforting Lloyd on multiple occasions and Nya doing the same. Kai and Nya both promised to protect Lloyd, and always be there for him, and said so verbally. You could see how it impacted Lloyd, reassuring him and helped him regain confidence. 

I also think he loves quality time as well, since he loved spending time with his dad, talking with him, and training with him. I love their interactions and it really shows how much Lloyd values his dad, despite everything.

Focuses mainly around the gods Life and Death! (digital series) (discontinued, but sooo worth the read because the art is literally stunning)

I’m sure there’s tons more out there, but these are just ones I’ve personally read/know of!

(Also sorry that all the webcomic ones are all mlm and no wlw!! I found them when I was really young around the time when the digital apps were -just- starting to highlight queer content, and most, if not all, of the queer content highlighted was gay (mlm)! First impression

So surprisingly even before Spark's backstory/redemption ark, I liked him. I like robots, loved Hal 9000, obsessed with Portal 1 and 2. As much as I love his new story that gives him more depth and emotions I actually loved the simple minded protocol following boi we first met.

Child me actually had a dream shortly after playing the library that I found a broken little spark he was split in those two circle pieces. I swear this happened which is weird because any normal person just has flood nightmares.

I legit would wear a Spark necklace to class 90% of people thought it was Wheatley. I definitely stalked his halopedia page for new content

Impression now

So lets start from Primordium. I already loved Chakas from Cryptum (I kept joking around with the line "Chakas when the walls fell" because was obsessed with tng at the time). I remember reading the preview first chapters while on vacation at my grandma's house because I couldn't wait for Jan 3 (which is 3 days before my bday btw). I remember being pissed that my boy was a monitor right at the beginning...

Halfway through the book I started suspecting Spark and Chakas had to be connected, specifically because Spark sounded a bit too much like Chakas when talking about the librarian in the halo cea terminals. I think its crazy well done how those two pieces of media are connected, and that halo 3 the ark cutscene "compartmentalization" connection to primordium is just very cool! Especially since bungie definitely never intended this, but because Spark's memories were compartmentalized for flood reasons, it works!

My obsession only has gotten worse with the more recent lore. I think Spark looks really cool! Especially in the newest book cover. I love who he's grown to become and I love the awesome new friends hes made despite of losing his past friends (him losing Riser(and vice versa)... must have hurt, those too were so close)

might be reading this wrong but i am going 2 assume this is abt engie bee bc i just posted abt him so AUUGGHHH okay okay so he is a character from a webcomic called romantically apocalyptic. dont read it its confusing and shitty towards women and inundated with edgy shitty humor from the early 2010s but i grew up reading it so its like a part of my brain now

theres a lot of set up that is essential bc part of my love 4 engie bee is HOW he came 2 be but it also makes this super long so i put a readmore

basically engie bee is the test tube clone of a guy named alexander gromov who created an ai named annet (annie 4 short. she rules) that started out as internet in ur brain but very quickly spiraled out of control (examples. dreams are copywrited and ppl who go into debt and not pay it off in time are literally turned into indentured servitude robots). the earth starts falling apart because of climate change and overharvesting (parts of it absolutely uninhabitable, called the dead zones. the main character of the comic worked as a dead zone tourist guide b4 the world ended). at one point gromov gets stung by the last bee in existence and bc hes allergic to bees it triggers a failsafe that creates a backup copy of him on the moon (which gromovs company the GOOD corporation had hollowed out and turned into a huge data center/luxury getaway basically) but annet synthesizes an antidote so he doesnt actually die

the test tube clone that just got spat out on the moon is engie bee. hes a completely unnecessary copy of the most powerful man on earth almost entirely alone in the center of the moon except for maintenance droids and those sorts of things. being up there on the moon and being able to look down at the earth and physically visibly SEE the planet crumble to bits under the force of the constant hungry consumerism the GOOD corporation created and feeds into makes him have a total about face and he realizes things CANNOT continue like they are but every attempt he makes at reaching out to ppl in power on earth is met with silence (one of my favorite details in the entire comic is that engie bee sent emails TO gromov with subject lines like ATTN: DR GROMOV!!!!!!! FROM: DR GROMOV which is SO MUCH? i love him)

so he goes the more extreme route and starts up civil unrest by forcibly disconnecting a number of ppl from annet (called the unconnectables. the way he does this is weird and confusing but it happens and they start stirring shit on earth) and then the unconnectables sabotage cube 15 (its like a big cube building full of the top GOOD directors. the name is very lame lol) and kill all of the top GOOD ppl (who also had moon backups. so engie bee wasnt alone up there anymore yayyy) which in turn made gromov panic and order the nuclear launch that wiped out like all of earth bc he thought ANNIE was the one killing everyone which rlly gets me bc like. engie bee was TRYING he really was trying 2 save the earth and extreme action was literally the only course of action but it was ultimately his actions which sped everything up into nuclear winter [insert image of the tower tarot card or smth]

BUT ALSO up on the moon engie bee wasnt just sitting around being emo or whatever he basically turned the huge servers system of the moon into his own brain and fully gave himself to The Machine (hes just a skeleton full of mushrooms in the comic) and starts calling himself THE LUNAR OVERMIND and is like a weird mysterious ghost haunting the planet prodding at things from the shadows (a few examples. the cottages that director-clones are assigned on the moon are also sentient. one of them never had their director die and grew bitter over watching other cottages fulfill their purposes. engie bee was the only one to keep upvoting their posts on the lunar social media (LOL) about being upset over it. eventually he encourages it to construct legs of its own and storm down the other cottages to kill their director-clones. also the machine created to look after gromov-clones (one being created every time the original gromov almost dies back on earth. there were 27 copies total. also the machine is named butler <3) LITERALLY calls engie bee a ghost haunting it and says he is always watching and always whispering demands)

engie bees actual appearances in the comic is kind of lame because it is literally nothing but exposition and dialogue like he doesnt DO anything actually physically in any of the pages but oh my god his entire backstory makes me want to run a mile or something it is SO good just the idea of an unwanted spurned clone doing a total volte-face and coming to completely oppose everything he once stood for in life and still ultimately bringing about the end of almost all humanity thru his own actions by mistake is so good. i wish there was more in the comic about his emotions like how there is nothing he can DO now but he still demands that gromov-clone 27 gives him his GOOD shares like that means ANYTHING at all because if he gives up that dumb little bit of hope there is literally nothing left in the facade of life hes living. its implied that engie bee was behind the death of every single gromov-clone on the moon and butler never actually got to meet with gromov-22 so i am going to say that engie bee physically strangled him to death. something something about engie bees hatred of gromov-a and all of the gromov-clones being self hatred and suicidal ideation projected outwards because actually acknowledging how he feels would mean losing hope that there will ever be a way to reverse what he thinks he ultimately caused
