Something a little different this time

I saw this recent collab photo with two of my favorites, ReiinaPop and Candii Kayn, and immediately wondered what it would have looked like at near their lightest weights. So I tried to draw it.

This was one really tested my limitations. Capturing recognizable facial features is something I still struggle with, but I’m glad I challenged myself to match the original photo as best I could. I struggled a lot with Reiina, and my apologies for not capturing her better. But I still wanted to share it with you all. Hope you enjoy.

luffy gets a girlfriend

He is blissfully unaware of this fact, however. He meets Torao at work, he's a firefighter and she's a doctor. She stitched up a cut on his arm and he gets hungry, spontaneously invites her to eat and she accepts, probably hungry too (or totally thinking that the cute guy with the stupid smile is asking her out).

They go out several times after that, usually with Luffy showing up at the hospital randomly, either injured or bringing in a patient, or simply to bother Torao because he was bored.

Luffy gets a new (girl) friend.

They're weird friends, though, because one day Torao just leaned in and kissed him. On the lips! And he liked it for some reason, so they kissed countless more times.

And sometimes things get too hot when they kiss and one thing leads to another and- well, they had sex. Several times. Which is weird, because Luffy definitely has no desire to kiss, much less have sex, with his other friends. But it works, so he just classifies them as weird friends.

He's pretty sure they're NOT lovers, because neither he nor Torao made fancy proposals, with roses, candles, fancy dinner and fancy rings, like Sanji and most TV shows tell, so, definitely weird friends.

And its okay, he likes being weird friends with Torao :D

(They're totally dating and no one believes Luffy when he says they're just friends. Because he shares his meat with Law, he actually, like, listens to her opinion instead of just doing what he wants, he takes her side in arguments no matter how obviously wrong she is, he fights with Ace, physically, when his brother says Law should get out of Luffy's life.They are totally dating, Luffy has a girlfriend, it doesn't matter that he doesn't know it.)

I personally love and obsess over disillusioned and self-isolating protagonists which is one of the reasons why I advocate for a Young Wizard who just leans so much into their role as the Savior that they're now just this broken down individual who now genuinely shares everyone's fears and legends of them of being this Ultra Powerful, Non-Human, Above-All-The-Peasants Legend Amongst Men. Being picked apart and analyzed (INCORRECTLY might I add) by strangers and people who fear/hate/revere you, no matter where you go or what you do, over and over and OVER it just literally whittles away at who you used to be, what used to make you happy and now you're replaced with what everyone made you into. Not You, but a Hero.

But you know what's even better 😈😈😈 a wizard who cracks in a different way and is now just baaaareeely holding it together. A wizard who just is not All There anymore. A wizard who's Good Maybe, but someone who genuinely gives you a GOOD REASON to fear a switch in allegiance. Someone who reminds you that your entire life depends on their mood

Give me Harley Quinn YW, give me a YW who cackles and shrieks in joy as they batter the evil to the ground, give me a YW who pushes at the very edge of the EXTREMES even when they don't need to. I want a YW who doesn't carry around a gleaming sword, or a mystical staff, but a bat with nails studded inside or a rusty machete; I want poems and songs of not a Hero but a wolf in sheep's clothing who just barely gets by in masquerading as the Commoners. An unhinged YW is the second to best Bad Ending you could ever get from this situation and I want everyone to think about this actually

random thought: if its called apology tour then presumably verosika is on tour and tour lengths can vary but can be a few months. so what if apology tour takes place at the start of her touring and ghostfuckers takes place near the end of the tour and that's where that shot of stolas performing comes from

I might get bashed for this one but honestly Joyce isn't a good mother to Jonathan, she's not the worst, never, actually no, she isn't a bad mother but she is far from being perfect, I guess there's a word for it which isn't coming to mind at the moment. Let me elaborate.

She lacks the sense of responsibility for Jonathan which he deserves, and she lacks responsibility that's a known fact, but after season 1, she even lacks the sense of it, as if Jonathan taking care of himself and the whole family is his responsibility by default.

I get where she's coming from, she's been through so much when she was married to Lonnie, and even after that, Will goes missing and the cards keep falling ever since, like woman can't catch a break and she does anything and everything she can and will do anything and everything for her boys and she tries, she honestly tries so much but that's the thing she fails to acknowledge the responsibility towards Jonathan.

For sure, Will has been throughout a lot and he deserves all sort of love and attention and I'm sure Jonathan doesn't mind it either but Will's not her only son, Jonathan is too, just because he keeps taking responsibility doesn't mean you'll let him keep taking it, at least acknowledge and appreciate it is what I'm talking about.

In the last three seasons they really made it seem like Joyce only treats Jonathan like Will's babysitter which he is, by soul and body but even before that he's your son. I know Joyce couldn't grasp it yet and that's why she acts the way she does with Jonathan, and if she did realise it she'd blame herself to death but most importantly do anything to fix it, I really hope the writers fix it the next season though

Sorry for the water filter but can I be honest the more I think abt it the more I kind of hate this post. I think it'd be better if it didn't namedrop an actual real life trans person for the sake of going "ew, I don't wanna look like THAT" (especially when contrasting him to these random guys, all I hear in "Elliot Page does not look like Just Some Guy" is basically "I don't think Elliot Page 'passes'"), but even then I think it's interesting how "I am a trans man who wants to present traditionally masculine" is presented as like, the hot take of the century.
