Marty McFly VS The Doc-pocalypse or smth like that idk

I put way too much effort into what was supposed to be a stupid doodle so uh. Have this Tumblr. I really don’t have a better explanation for this other than I got two more Doc Pop! Figures today, which leaves me with a growing army of 3 Docs and one singular Marty, and I keep laughing every time I look at them in my display case so here we have Marty dealing with multiple Docs from different times that have all somehow ended up in the garage in 1986. Four dimensional thinking has never been his strong suit, and trying to figure this out is not helping. He’s got two hours of sleep, a bajillion positive encouraging post-it notes from the Doc of the present telling him to sleep, hot chocolate, and four very enthusiastic Emmetts crowding the lab. Send help. And caffeine. And maybe Clara cause he’s not so sure he can keep them from blowing something up for much longer.

following on from this. not to always bring marc into everything (sorry marc) but if assen 2015 had happened against jorge, valentino would have very likely pulled something similar again imo. rather than what he actually did, which is approach marc almost immediately for a nice normal friendly handshake and backing off during the podium celebrations. should be noted that during laguna seca '08, valentino was very much committed to yapping at casey on the podium with the world's biggest smuggest grin on his face

partly that disparity is because jorge not marc was the direct title rival, partly it's because valentino was treating marc with kid gloves right until the second that he wasn't, which marc was seemingly entirely oblivious to. if anyone other than marc had said what he said in that presser, had then continued on with similar rhetoric during sachsenring, valentino would quite likely have gone nuclear. he's done it over less than that. his fondness for marc made him continue to exhibit uncharacteristic restraint... except that fondness unfortunately is what left valentino feeling so very betrayed when (to his eyes) marc could not leave well enough alone

Marc was just a kid with only half of his frontal lobe fully developed, acting just like him in his 20s messy and chaotic on the track. What happened at Sepang and Valencia was partly his fault, too. If Vale hadn't made that press conference, calling Marc out and expecting him to crumble like others had, Marc wouldn't have decided to follow him around on the track. The same goes for Valencia. With all the rumors and personal attacks, how could Marc let him win, especially when that person had broken his heart? There are two people responsible for what happened in 2015, and one of them was the older wiser one

Marc monumentally lost the idgaf war in Assen 2015 like it wasn’t even micro expressions at that point he couldn’t even hide it. Like the micro expressions were there but you could tell he was in a bitchy mood after that race and honestly I found it hilarious he had more open facial expressions back then and I’m glad we’re getting that Marc back slowly.

assen 2015 INARGUABLY the moment marc realizes smth is. not chill in denmark. does he anticipate how buckshit nasty the rest of the season would play out of course not. but assen is the moment him and vale REALLY truly disagree for the first time that season like actually fr. marc's angry in argentina but its mostly a racing incident whatever. but ASSEN. put that pot on low and bring it to a simmerrrrrr.... he knowssss hes losing that title he SUSPECTS hes losing valentino, and he is categorically unable to be chill about either of those things in such a manner that he makes it all WORSE. they ask them postrace if the relationship has changed at all after that and vale smiles and says no of course not :) marc says no, BUT. and vale's head fucking WHIPPPPPS around to him. like they DO NOT communicate about these tensions directly fucking ever, so any step out of PR speak that is specifically designed to diffuse the presscorp narrative machine is genuinely a HUGE signal flareof tension and marc is just like. i think angry/frustrated about losing and decides to be truthful ! he's not thinking ! hes 22 ! and vale (again. had to swallow a LOT of pride at laguna seca 2013 and now marc is REFUSING to return the favor AND making a stink with race direction) goes. okay. so thats how its gonna be. and files that info away to be reviewed at a later date....

a while ago i was discussing movies with my colleague at work and there was some nicolas cage film playing and he suggested i watch it and i was like "nah im good im not huge on cage" and mfer started listing off cage's films as masterpieces, starting with con air

How far do you think a game should be into development before starting a Kickstarter or some other crowdfunding?

Playable demo. these days, people won't back one unless there's a playable demo or you're a prolific enough company or team or personality that it doesn't matter. I think especially if you're using something like indiegogo where you can collect funds without reaching the goal, people trust it less than all or nothing campaigns.

How MUCH progress in the project and in the demo depends on what you're asking for funding for, though. Some projects fund like really early on at the ideas stage (especially back in the day lol but you really do need a demo now) and others fund at the last stretch and just need it for like the final VO or something. Placeholder assets are perfectly acceptable and expected, honestly. it should just be clear they're pledging to help replace those aspects. I know some teams crowdfund to like, pay the writers, so having something written is important so people Know what they're paying for but they might need the funding to get the rest done and can't afford to show off too much lol.

sometimes (and by sometimes I mean often) I laugh at how Michael Johnston was presumably casted as Ephemera because of his role as Mikleo

like the kh casting director really looked at Tales of Zestiria and saw this white-haired boy with a big plot role and an irrefutably strong bond with his friend the protagonist. They saw this tiny but mighty kid who constantly but lovingly gets picked on by the rest of the friend group. They saw this really passionate and inquisitive nerd with an interest in a special book.

They saw a character who was left behind in the wake of his friend the protagonist sacrificing his life for the greater good, and carried on the fight they started together in order to make the world a brighter place. (Maybe I should also mention that his friend the protagonist is implied to be reborn many generations later…)

The casting director saw all of this wrapped up in one jrpg twink and I can only imagine they did whatever they could to get Michael into kh immediately and honestly this kind of typecasting just goes to show how good they are at their job
