so i'm writing a prinxiety fanfic on wattpad under the handle @IndigoCherry23 or @-sam_sandwich-

and i wanted to give u guys a little snippet of it so far! (by the way, prinxiety is a sander sides ship between virgil and roman......if you didn't already know.......)

...the sound of clicking locks could be heard, and soon the prince's door had swung open. scrambling off the floor, Virgil took a good look at Roman. and—oh boy. Roman's side-swept, mousy brown hair, his hazelnut eyes, his scattered freckles...Virgil felt that blush coming back for more. Roman must've been in the feels too, because he looked everywhere but at Virgil when finally seeing him in person. "so. uh. that valuable thing, huh? i'm gonna..." Roman pointed behind him. "i'm gonna go get that...thing..." he rushed into his room and started fiddling with the locks on a treasure chest.

Virgil began walking into roman's room, admiring all the fancy things he had scattered around. but the one thing that particularly caught his eye was a small stuffed animal of a certain bird.

" heyyy Roman?" he called.

"yeah?" Roman responded, finally cracking open his chest. "whats up? i finally found that valuable thing."

Virgil shrugged. "yeah, but uh...could i have something different?"

Roman walked over holding a brand new family portrait, the frame embedded with the Hamilton family symbol: a tall, red-and-yellow castle.

"huh? but don't you want this? it's shiiiny~" Roman cooed, waving the picture in front of Virgil's face enticingly.

"well- i-i mean, yeah, it's- it's nice!!" Virgil panicked, Roman being so close it killed him. "but...i-i uh, i found something else i wanted instead. this."

he reached and picked up a black cat plush that had been lopsidedly laying on the bed. Roman gasped in horror, dropping the picture and shattering it against the floor.

"wh-what..? but...but...you can't!! that's mine!!" Roman quickly snatched the stuffed toy away from Virgil, accidentally tearing off the end of its tail.

Roman inspected the toy's broken fluff, then looked at the portrait upon the floor, and lastly back at Virgil, tears rising in his eyes.

"l-look what you did now!" he cried, his lip quivering. he reached out a shaky finger to point accusingly at Virgil. "you broke the photo! you broke Madam Raven's fur! you--you broke everything! what's wrong with you? you really are a failure!!"

Virgil could only stare sadly at what he thought to be his new friend. nope. just another name-caller.

just another person who thought him to be a failure.

Hi I love your work! I was hoping I could get a romantic and platonic DC match up. I’m a 18 y/o girl I use she/her pronouns and I’m heterosexual.

Physical appearance: I am 5’7 and thin, I have blonde hair and hazel eyes, I also have glasses but I only wear them when I really need to, I am also a pale person.

Personality: I am a INTP (logician), I’m pretty friendly, if I don’t know someone then I probably won’t start the conversation with them unless I need something, I’m pretty laid back and easy going, I tend to joke with my friends quite a lot with either smartass comments or sarcasm, I’m also somewhat of the ‘mom’ in my friend group, I’m also the friend who’s willing to tell someone off if they are being rude for no reason or coming at someone sideways even if the person I’m telling off is my friend, I’m a very blunt and honest person but I don’t say anything unless someone asks me for my thoughts or if I really need to step in and say something.

Hobbies: Drawing, painting, baking, and cooking

Aesthetic: I don’t exactly have an aesthetic but I do love my pastels, sweaters, bows, flowers, and early mornings.

Favorite movies/shows: my favorite show is 911, and my favorite movie would probably be any of the Scream movies I love my horror movies and I love my drama shows.

Music: honestly I don’t have a favorite music I listen to a lot of different things. If I had to pick some favorites I would definitely pick chill, R&B/soul, and upbeat.

His curiosity grew when he overheard your sarcastic quips, quietly snickering to himself while adjusting and fidgeting with some tech.

He approached you during a break, initially making small talk about your artwork but quickly shifting to nerding out about you shared favorite movie.

When he found out you were into cooking and baking, he couldn’t resist asking, “So, can I order cookies and get them delivered through Boom Tube? Asking for a friend.”

Victor appreciates how laid-back and approachable you are.

Even when he’s having an off day, your friendly but non-intrusive nature puts him at ease.

You both bond over your shared love for sarcasm.

He loves that you’re quick-witted and can match his dry humor.

Victor’s confession comes after weeks of building tension, where he’s been trying to figure out the best way to express his feelings.

He's not the best at feelings, he gets nervous quite quickly...

But, he’s been dropping subtle hints, like lingering glances, extra care during missions, and playful comments that almost sound like flirting.

He also started trying to impress you, either with his tech skills or during missions.

The moment happens one quiet evening in the Watchtower after a long day.

You’re both sitting in the rec room, you sketching on your notepad while he tinkers with a gadget.

There’s an easy silence between you, only broken by the occasional hum of his tech or the scratching of your pencil.

Out of nowhere, Victor starts talking. At first, it’s casual - about how he admires your talent and how you’re one of the few people who really sees him beyond his mechanical parts. But then his voice softens, and he puts the gadget down.

“You know,” He begins, looking at you with a mix of nervousness and determination, “I’ve been wanting to tell you something for a while now. It’s… Not exactly easy for me to say, but I think you deserve to hear it.”

You set your sketchpad down, giving him your full attention.

“I thought I had my life figured out - missions, tech, all that. But then you came along with your amazing sarcasm, your pastel bows in your hair, and the way you stand up for people without even thinking twice. And suddenly, everything I thought I knew felt… Incomplete.”

He pauses, taking a deep breath before continuing. “You make me feel human. You see me. And I- I think I’m falling for you.”

His confession is so raw and genuine that it leaves you speechless for a moment.

When you finally respond, it’s with a grin, leaning slightly closer to him. “So, let me get this straight - you’re saying my pastel bows and my killer sarcasm are some of the aspects that made you fall for me?"

Victor blinks, a little caught off guard by your teasing tone but then chuckles, shaking his head. “I mean… Those might’ve sealed the deal, yeah.”

You laugh, leaning back with mock triumph. “Good. Just making sure you’re falling for me for all the right reasons.” Then, softening, you add, “But seriously, Vic... I’m falling for you too. And not just because you’re half the reason I haven’t died on a mission yet.”

He grins, the tension breaking as he pulls you into a hug, muttering something about how you always have to get the last word.

Victor is a thoughtful and innovative boyfriend.

Knowing you love flowers, he creates a holographic bouquet that changes colors and blooms with each new day. He also insists on getting you real flowers too because, “Why not both?”

Your dates often involve activities that combine your interests: baking nights where he helps mix ingredients with precise measurements, early morning walks with scenic views where you quietly share stories, or movie marathons with horror and drama films (he always claims he’s not scared, but you catch him jumping at the intense scenes).

You surprise him with personalized gifts like oversized matching pastel sweaters and hoodies and homemade cookies in his favorite flavor.

On days off, you two have unofficial “chill and jam sessions.” He plays music from his built-in library while you experiment with drawing, painting, or even attempting to teach him how to paint too. Even though he tries to cheat by giving himself a painting upgrade.

When you’re stressed, he uses his tech to dim the lights and play relaxing music, setting up a cozy atmosphere with snacks and blankets.

Victor learns to adapt his tech to better accommodate your needs.

Knowing you wear glasses only when necessary, he offers to enhance your frames with holographic adjustments so they’re stylish and have secret functions, like Google, so you can take pictures, or so you can watch YouTube videos or Netflix.

He’s incredibly protective but trusts you to handle yourself. Still, he’s always ready to intervene if someone pushes your boundaries or disrespects you.

You’re one of the few people who sees Victor beyond his tech. You remind him of his humanity and always reassure him when he feels self-conscious.

When Victor works long hours, you bring him snacks and coffee, sometimes leaving little doodles or notes to brighten his day.

You’re his hype person, always cheering him on during missions or when he’s struggling with personal challenges.

Your thoughtful nature means you always remember the little things, like anniversaries or moments when he’s expressed small wishes (like recreating his mom’s favorite recipe).

She’s your partner-in-crime for creative projects. Whether it’s painting a mural or redecorating your room, she brings chaotic energy but surprisingly great ideas.

You two have a mutual love for animals and often visit shelters or sanctuaries together. Harley tries to convince you to adopt every animal you see.

Harley insists on giving you makeovers, which often end with mismatched eyeshadow and wild hairstyles. You secretly love how fun and carefree it is. And her makeovers match your soft aesthetic.

imagine you’re a ghost haunting one of them and once they catch on that you’re watching they just start doing things to rile you up. Wearing less clothes around the house or maybe putting on a show for you as they’re touching themselves on their bed. Knowing they’re being watched has them feeling hotter and cumming faster than normal, and you would know. It’s not the first time you’ve watched them do it.

i was wondering, how did you get to develop your art? im currently in a process where i am trying to experiment and go beyond the need to create art that is realistic (as in "objectively like reality as it is", like I was being told by both school and family). i feel like I struggle a lot to follow my inspiration because of this, and I am also trying to learn how to draw scenes from my own ordinary life, but unfortunately I am quite impatient and frustrated with my inability to create what I wish to create + perfectionism in general makes me scared of using colour as well 😭 I really admire your art so much, both your sketches and finished pieces, and I have always wondered your own learning process throughout the years. please feel free to not reply if you feel uncomfortable cause I know it is a very personal process as well, and above all I hope you are doing well and I am sending you endless love <333

🥺🥺 this is so lovely to receive because if im completely honest there are multiple moments where i feel exactly as you've just described and despite pushing through it, a message like this is very validating that ive progressed in some way

i dont mind sharing at all. i started drawing/painting when i was 21/22 which is relatively late and i was so fearful because despite having a vision for what i wanted to create i lacked any skill that could help me bring what was in my minds eye to fruition. i was also insanely depressed and in the middle of getting my degree at uni (so felt like i had no time to pursue art, at least not to the extent i wanted to). — my plan to get better consisted of multiple things. id draw everyday. i had/have two styles i'd practice, one realism, and the other 'freestyle'? basically draw only from my head and from the rhythms that came naturally to my hand, no references. by doing that, or drawing the human figure/portraits/cars/buildings from my imagination, not only was i reinforcing what id actually learned from my study of the fundamentals, but i was learning to incorporate my own creativity into the rigid structure that sometimes comes from only drawing from reference. by doing that and drawing studies every day i began to build a library in my head of images/poses/character archetypes i could pull from which made drawing from my imagination easier, but also had the structural knowledge of forms/perspective/anatomy to make them look credible. id do this whenever i had free time, and once i left uni began practicing anywhere from 6-9 hours daily. a bit extreme but i felt like i had time to make up for since i started drawing relatively late in life. only tip there is to balance practice with making finished pieces. finished pieces will show you which fundamentals you still need to work on & how much progress you've made. they also show the completion of a thought whereas practice only gives you the tools to bring that thought to reality

just so u know, ur practice of the fundaments is not in vain. you just need to revive your own capacity to draw from your imagination/subconscious. the main thing is knowing your going to find your work horrible for a long time before it gets better. the joy has to come from the process of creating rather than the end product. by the time it gets better, your eye will also have improved, so you still wont be satisfied. thats where growth comes in. being your biggest critic is what will make you great, as long as you remember where you came from (date and keep your work so you can look back on it) and the role criticism plays. separate your skill from your self worth.

something helpful i was once told is along the lines of 'perfectionism is a lie we tell ourselves to justify our procrastination. no one is ever perfect, so the only way to gain skill is to practice. you cant grow if you dont begin. so if your really a perfectionist, your only solution is to start'

i would love to see your work someday and hope i will. wishing you luck and sending you all the courage to begin and be great. you got this <3

he's super tall (6'8), likes to dress super fem, and inherited lycanthropy from his mother. he comes from a warm, loving family, but his ambition and intellect led him to advance very quickly through wizard school and isolate himself from anyone who cared about him for no reason. then he had a magical accident at age 19 which left him a kind of half-ghost partially trapped in the ethereal plane. he ages very slowly so despite looking like he's in his 20s he's actually 143. in that time he became a hired killer because he realized he enjoys killing and is good at it.

to summarize, things he is:

werewolf

wizard

dancer

skilled swordsman

remorseless assassin

half-ghost

problematic bisexual

things he is not:

able to have an honest conversation without hiding behind 7 layers of facades

oddly, a good liar (+1 is not sufficient for the amount of deception rolls i've been making, it seems)

i created him for a short term, one-module game (four sessions total), but holy shit did i get obsessed to the point where i neglected my other 2 characters who have long term games lol. in the time since we started he chatted condescendingly with, then saved from a boar attack, then homoerotically tended to the wounds of, then homosexually had sex with, the very first npc we met. and now he's trying to rizz up the hot trans woman npc and getting called the fuck out for being allergic to giving out any meaningful information about himself

my main objective creating him was to, for once, try to play someone who isn't a good person. it's very hard because i'm super nonconfrontational and a WAY slower thinker than he is. he's a showoff and a murderer and thinks everyone is either smart enough to play the same game of manipulation he is, or stupid enough to actually be earnest and trustworthy. absolute smug fuck piece of shit who needs to unwrap like 50 layers of trauma and self isolation before he has even a slight chance of being a well-adjusted decent person. i love him sm

if you for some reason want to learn more, here's a lore document I've been writing for him including a year by year timeline (incomplete but it has his early years where a lot of the self-inflicted trauma happened, plus some random tidbits)
