Since book 7 part 5 (the part where we meet Meleanor/Maleanor 👀) is coming to EN this month, i would love to see your take on lilia’s proposal to meleanor! i mean they were like little kids right? it couldn’t have been that serious…i think the only reason she even brought it up again is because she could tell lilia still genuinely loved her…(even if he didn’t realize it himself?) but, oh well! oh fuck yes baby boy NEEDS a snuggle so fuckin bad. Jay is SO motherfucking - his full name is Janasheen Lagmani Mufti btw (successor, born at nightfall, one who gives council or legal advice) - Jay is SO motherfuckin touch starved that he'll get injured on purpose just so he can feel you touch him up. After a while you start to catch onto this because you don't have the heart to tell him he's not quite as slick as he thinks he is. So OBVIOUSLY I have a medieval game OBVIOUSLY I have a jousting game the only way you're gonna get him to turn into your snuggly lil bunbun (yes he does insist you call him that after you say it once as a joke and he loses his mind) is to make him think YOU'RE really the one who needs cuddles. like of course you're feeling kinda sad and tired from all your schoolwork so of COURSE you need a big strong tough cool guy star of the tourney team to make you feel all safe and cozy. obviously it's TOTALLY for your benefit. not at all because Jay was not hugged once as a child! that's hilarious and true and totally not the reason at all! I just washed my hands that's why they're wet! no other reason!

but yeah once you actually start cuddling with him it's going to take approximately less that six seconds for him to become a total and complete velcro boyfriend. it takes longer to watch any vine in existance than it does for Jay to latch onto you like a small baby bird. he did not know that touchy feely stuff could be so... nice. especially when it's with you. he tried giving Carlos and Evie and Mal bear hugs between classes when he's away from you and it was good, but it wasn't the same. Maybe it's because Carlos still thinks he's going to get suplexed whenever Jay grabs him like that or maybe it's because Mal keeps asking if he huffed her spraypaint and that's why he's so huggy out of nowhere (Evie doesn't mind too much as long as he doesn't wrinkle her outfits or mess with her hair and makeup. she actually approves of you two and likes that you're bringing out Jay's more affectionate side. she makes a mental note to give you the friends and family discount on any future designs you order from her.) but shortly after that first time you snuggled up with Jay and had him tell you all about the video games he's been playing and about tourney practice he's full on addicted to your touch and cuddles. Coach sometimes has to pull you off your extra curriculars to give Jay hugs and kisses during practice when he cops an attitude or gets too rowdy. you're known as the Jay whisperer immediately and believe me the nickname sticks. Carlos asks what the hype is once and you give him head scratches and he understands.

Md finale thoughts/spoilers but I to quite like the progression of realization from ‘is the absolute solver spreading itself to have more hosts?’ to ‘oh cyn-solver isn’t spreading the virus on purpose’ to ‘cyn-solver is actively hunting down other solver drones that aren’t her own Disassembler “worker bees” (as seen with Nori’s notes in e7)’.

it makes sense that she’s hunting the others down- they’re not potential backup hosts, they’re rival “queens”, and I say that very much in the eusocial insect way. She always knew there was a possibility that another solver drone could become the new primary host as soon as she was able to possess the Unethical Test Subjects (trademarked) via sharing the Absolute Solver. Kind of a double edged blade? More eyes and hands to possess and work through by possessing them, but always with the possibility one of the “maiden queens” would win out in a physical confrontation over the metaphorical crown. (Which is exactly what happened when V and N stopped doing their murder jobs).

he knows the answer to the first question; do you believe that? have you ever believed that? all she can do is stare at the floor, almost like she’s been caught. because she doesn’t. and he knows she doesn’t.

her role in this thing that they do is to not believe in aliens. she answered him on that first day, does she believe in the existence of extraterrestrials? she had to say no.

she can’t answer him this time, though. she stares at the floor. but he knows.

he knows the answer to the second question too, though. what do you think happened to her?

scully can stand in front of him and tell him that he’s just being emotional all she wants. tell him that it’s manipulation, that it’s impossible.

but her role in this thing is that she is the rational one, and he knows what the rational thing to think about 8 year old girls who disappear from their homes and don’t come back is.

even if it’s not this killer, even if it’s not this man, the rational thing to think is that it’s another.

so after four years of seeking and chasing and following after as he walks into the same room every day, as he wants to believe, what does she believe? what is she really saying when she says no, she doesn’t believe in the existence of extraterrestrials?

Your ghost vault propaganda inspired me to watch the first season in dominion and. I think Legundo irl left that vault and had a panic attack. His shivers were timbered. Viking was unhinged to exactly one person and it PAYED OFF. God damn.

NO FOR REAL ITS SUCH AN EXPERIENCE. like it's a known fact that The Voice(tm) does in fact actually scare Legundo IRL and Viking just. he's so GOOD at turning it on and off at unstable intervals

i think a lot about that scene though actually, because piglin 'Gundo is a fascinating character in his own right and is not a fully morally upstanding guy, and something i think is interesting is like. the entire time he's freaked the hell out and this doesn't exactly go away later in the scene, but i feel like you can see something just click in Legundo when Viking hands him that IOU back and it's so. gods. he goes from totally out of his depth to a lot more calm and almost a little dismissive once that IOU is back in his hands and Viking no longer has that total leverage. it's nothing short of fascinating.

just. in general. that's such a good scene. all the Ghost's Vault scenes are golden, and S2 of Dominion has some utter bangers if you're the type to backwatch VODs.

So, you know how the internet will go crazy over something like a step over from the fandoms you're in so you'll get spoilers about it but you don't care about that piece of media but you're just happy to see people invested in something?

Yeah, that just happened in the funniest way imaginable.

Spoilers: for the new episode (17? I think? As stated before I'm not in that fandom) of inanimate Insanity.

I was playing the Roblox game Flicker with my sisters and in that game you can set your nickname to something that's not your Roblox name, and somebody had set their name to "light bolb" (not a typo that's what they set it as) and they said it was based off of their favorite character from their favorite show and I had already heard about the object shows from said thing of the internet going crazy a fandom over, so of course I instantly knew who they were talking about (don't know anything about their personality however)

A few hours later apparently a new episode comes out and the internet is freaking out a fandom over and suddenly I feel very very bad for this poor girl because guess who dies in the new episode?

That's right her favorite character from her favorite show, Light bulb.

This poor girl didn't even know that her favorite character would die on that same day.
