Thinking about the possibility of Kevin being the one who killed Jack’s parents during this VHS tape, him not trusting and thinking that they were scientists/adults to harm him. His impulses and anger causing him to break out into a terrible fit and kill them as Doey.

Thinking about Jack being helpless in this situation and all he could do was watch as his own parents were killed in front of him, only gaining control once the deed was done.

Thinking about this scene being Matthew talking, feeling upset with himself for failing the ones he wanted to protect and save. He wanted to be who they needed, to be their protector: but he failed that. Even though it wasn’t his fault, he still feels like he didn’t do it. He wanted to be better for them but it all fell apart.

Oh my god I love the New Episode!!

First of all: Can we talk about the animation quality?! The writing?! The humor?! All there have been so high above the standart set in the previous episodes. The wait really was worth it because this quality was fantastic.

Also the sounddesign was killer. The way they used musicthemes, absolute silence in the background and the echo on Blitzøs voice during the confrontation. Top tier honestly.

The song at the beginning was great. It showcased their perspectives on their relationship so well and made clear from the beginning where the conflict would be.

And they handled that conflict SOOO WELL! They didn't have a narrative. Both characters expressed their perspectives and where able to without one of them seeming wrong or unjust. Yes, they both hurt each other, but that is the whole point: they hurt each other and now they need to lose oneanother to fully understand how they can move forward from that.

The only thing I am unsure about is how I stand to CHERUBS and DORKS being reintroduced while the (lets be honest) mainplot was having a key moment. I think it was kind of distracting at times but I think my perspective may be a bit biased since I love the whole story around Blitzø and Stolas and was very exited to have this key moment in their relationship be the mainthing in this. I mean it still was but it did not have the undivided attention. But if this is what it took for me to get Moxxie, Millie and Loona to wingman like no one has ever wingmanned before, I will take it.

All in all this wasn't at all what I expectes this to be but it had already grown on me and honestly set a New standart for this series, which I hope they'll be able to keep up with. I am honestly amazed!
