nah cause like you dont get it!!!! the sully kids and spider are a unit!!! they're puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly. the very definition of "the gang is what i trust"!!! they're together their whole lives and then spider gets taken and all of a sudden the puzzle is in disarray. kiri's so spacey cause she doesn't have spider to bring her back down to pandora. lo'ak's acting out cause he doesn't have his usual partner-in-crime/fellow outcast to make light mischief with. neteyam is like two seconds away from a heart attack/stroke the whole movie because the other kid he used to parent his siblings with for the past like decade is gone!!! and spider on the other hand? is completely alone. at least the other four have each other. all spider has is his alien racist, genocidal, imperialist dad dragging him on the world's worst war crime road trip. there's no kiri to get him out of his head. there's no lo'ak to to be outcasts with. there's no neteyam to have a quiet reassurance that they're in this together with. there's just him and his stupid, fucking mind. and then they blend his brain at bridgehead and it's over for him.

My main hobby is just procrastinating in any way I can. The plan was to make a cup of coffee and then start working. What actually happened is that I watched a 3 part video series (by james hoffmann ofc) on Aeropress coffee and made a few cups with different variables. Still not sure if I found The Recipe for me, but it’s getting better (tho I don’t love the coffee beans I have)

The Fly 1986 is a great movie, but when Brundle states that his telepod isn't worthwhile until he can teleport living matter, I'm like 'bitch you fo real?!' You'd eliminate the cost of transportation for literally EVERYTHING ELSE. Do people understand how expensive shit is half the time because you got to get it on a boat, on a truck, on a plane, in a car and that's if it even stays fresh and/or intact the whole way? Emergency drops? Bam, medical supplies and equipment. Need to build a house? Boom, wood and steel. Oh no you forgot your wallet at home? Sike, I'll just teleport it. Like damn Mister Brundle, think of the logistics you dummy! Homer Simpson figured out how the common man would use it more than you did bro!

I recently found an erasable pen. a) this has not really solved my Inktober problems (and may in fact have somehow increased them since it was the day I found it that I first missed a day and then missed several subsequent days). b) there comes a point where something has been erased enough times that it ceases to be erasable. :/ c) it’s funny how different it still is from pencil. With pencil I can more easily get variety in shading. d) Faramir.

happy sunday!!! i'm so back! i've been writing more of my neighbour au recently. i really love this au so much, and i can't wait to share the whole thing. idk how long it'll take to complete, but i'm really enjoying the process right now.

for now, here's some loki feels.

Normally, he wouldn’t dare express his emotions so explicitly to any of his partners for fear that he’d be left. That didn’t seem to stop rejection from finding him, however. In fact, his dating history had been one rejection after the other. Keeping people at a distance would do that, he supposed, but upholding his image—the confident, witty and put-together persona he’d meticulously crafted—took precedence. It protected him; no one wanted to mess with him, but it also meant that no one took the time to get to know him. It was a double-edged sword of his own creation. Now, he felt that protective persona begin to unravel; threads that he’d once weaved into something he deemed to be beautiful came apart at the seams to reveal something plain; brilliant gold faded into a dreary brown, greens became muddied with uncertainty, and what once shone dimmed in fear. Would Mobius still find his tapestry beautiful once he showed his true colours?
