Idc what anyone says, I do not feel sorry for Rhys who went through 50 years of under the mountain when the citizen of the hewn city went through centuries of under the mountain.

Hewn city is literally modelled after utm and the torture is the same. If this guy is comfortable letting children (the kids born there) live centuries like this, he can surely manage 50 years.
