•pony and curly is that couple who tries avoiding the mistletoe bc everyone is around and believe it or not they have a limit on pda depending on how many ppl there r, but some of the gang r trying to push them under it

•around christmas time is the only time the curti’s use their small fire place and curly would knock OUT when he was in front of it bc his house was rlly cold, and ponys always checking up on him bc he reminds pony of a lil stray cat seeking shelter. purring and all

•dally hates it when ppl start to celebrate christmas right after halloween, like RIGHT after, he hates the fast change, he would like a moment to himself after being w family, yknow to just calm it down. the curtis’ have a habit of doing that so they dont see dally for like a week when they start doing it

•once curly was planning on giving pony this small gift during this small party that woulda meant a lot and he was hoping to keep it to himself cause ewww showing feelings in front of others, but he just couldnt so he asked part of the gang to help him out in finding it in time

•im not denying that curly WOULDNT put a mistletoe on his belt to b cheeky, im just saying it would b above his ass so EVERYONE can kiss his ass. he even put the mistletoe upside down and said it was a reverse mistletoe where everyone above it has to kiss him. pony tried taking it off him before he walked into his house but curly has sticky fingers he got ts out of ponys drawers from his room somehow

Also late merry christmas yippe!

Today is another ordinary day in the cult with just one difference: it was Christmas! such a nice and peaceful holiday where you spend time with your friends and family, everyone was very excited about the holiday except one person... a certain black cat with three wine red eyes...

Narinder never liked Christmas, for him it was just a silly holiday and he still thinks so! But seeing his friend so excited about this date certainly did something to him, he would give it a chance.

And who is this friend? It's [Reader]!

When Narinder arrived at the cult he was angry, he was defeated by his own vessel and still lost all his power! He snuggled into a tent and stayed there for days with the purest hatred. Narinder did not eat or drink, he refused to do these things even knowing that now he needed it and the lamb knowing that they themselves would not be able to make him eat sent one of their followers, this follower was [Reader]! They began to bring food and water to Narinder and comfort him when he needed it and thus a friendship was born.

But Narinder started to feel more than just friendship, love was forming for [Reader], he helped him in his worst moment, gave him food and water and always helped him. But what if [Reader] didn't feel the same? Well I think the lamb can help in that.

Narinder and [Reader] were in the tavern drinking and having fun on this festive holiday, Narinder saw some followers opening gifts they received from friends and/or family. "Shit I should have done something for [Reader]..." Narinder thought, he took a deep breath and just looked at [Reader] drinking and with a smile on theyr face,Narinder also smiled while blushing slightly.

In the middle of Narinder and [Reader]'s conversations, Narinder heard a small bell coming from above him, he looked up and saw a small mistletoe with a red bow and small bells. Now Narinder didn't know much about mortal traditions and much less the mistletoe tradition, so he was quite confused when [Reader] saw the mistletoe and blushed slightly while the people around the two looked on in delight.

Narider: [Reader] What does this mistletoe mean...?

[Reader]: l-It...

[Reader] tried to say something but they just stuttered and blushed more and more until Alex, a yellow cat, decided to speak.

Alex: Don't you know Narinder? If two people are under a Christmas mistletoe they have to kiss!

Narinder blushed and looked around as he saw Alex and other followers laughing and waiting for the kiss to happen. Narinder sighed, this was a unique chance! He would finally be able to kiss the person he loves so much.

Narinder: Well who am I to deny a tradition?

Narinder said approaching [Reader] and holding their hand gently.

Narinder: Is that okay with you? I don't want to do anything that will make you uncomfortable...

[Reader]: It's okay...

[Reader] said shyly but giving the permission that Narinder wanted so much, Narinder kissed [Reader] gently while his right hand went up to caress [Reader]'s cheek, the people around the two celebrated the kiss but Narinder and [Reader] were too busy kissing, eventually the lack of air separated the two who just laughed shyly. behind the tavern was the lamb holding a stick that at the end of it was in the dreaded mistletoe, he hid the mistletoe when he noticed the two kissing and laughed.

Lamb: Well, my work here is done.

Anyway, meet Roronoa Hikoboshi and Orihime! Hikoboshi resembles Zoro’s dad, he takes over the restaurant eventually while Sora is off sailing, Shinjiro is off sailing, and Takehiko is just causing massive amounts of problems to every type of authority out there lol. Orihime is actually Pudding’s daughter, her only child in fact. Idk, Pudding just eventually gets over Sanji(good, hes way too old for you sweetie tbh; narratively I enjoy their story but ooooooof couldnt she have been at least 18?), meets a new gentleman whos just as kind to her. He, too, has an interest in baking and they open a bakery together, which eventually moves to the exact oart of the All Blue where Sanji resides. Hikoboshi and Orihime meet when theyre 15/16 years old and immediately theyre pretty infatuated. With Orihime being a fairytale and love at first sight kind of gal and Hikoboshi being just as much as a hopeless romantic as his father. When the two want ther parents to meet—its pretty awkward at first lol

Hikoboshi and Orihime is directly inspired by the myth and Tanabata festival itself. As I said, Hikoboshi more so resembles his grandfather Arashi. Orihime is supposed to look like her father the most, however I wanted to play with the idea of her resembling Big Mom a bit? Mostly just the hair honestly, which starts off as brown but as he gets older it gradually changes to pink. Which makes me think about the possibility of Pudding maybe holding some kind of issues against her early on???? Idk but I would like to explore the idea! Btw, their moles are supposed to reflect their respective stars’ positions, Vega and Altair!

But anyway heres my designs for Zoro’s parents. Arashi was s two swords style user trying to work his way up to three swords style before he died. He grew up an orphan on the very outskirts of the village after both of his parents passed away when he was roughly 10. Tera grew up on the same island but she wasnt born there, her father bringing her there when she was eeeeeh like 4-6. She didnt grow up in the village though, in fact she didnt up grow up having a home town to name, she doesnt know where in the east blue her family is specifically from, they camped out in a tiny cabin in the wood with a few other bandits. She gets lost a lot, which is where Zoro gets it! She actually ended up having to choose between “carrying on the family business” (being a thief) or Arashi, and she chose Arashi because she’s actually really bad ar being a bandit. They met when they were 18, married a year later, but it took four years to finally have a family of their own. And turns out Zoro is the only kid they ever would have. Quick little details; when Arashi was fatally wounded by the pirates attacking the village, his swords were both essentially destroyed and later buried with him. And so was his earring. Same with Tera, who had genetic illness, Huntington’s disease, however she actually died of pneumonia in the winter time, but her Huntington’s symptoms were prevalent and Zoro was aware of what was going on. She, too, was buried with her earring, two of Zoro’s earrings specifically just being replicas in memory of his parents. And gonna state it outright here: no Zoro doesn’t have Huntington’s disease, but it is a fear of his that he pushes off to the back of his mind constantly. Tbh I just think it makes him more human as a character to have such a natural fear, idk.

Something I kinda REALLY wanna expand on is my idea of Arashi and Koushiro having a relationship somewhat similar to Zoro and Kuina; Arashi being a few years younger than Koushiro who has actual training to begin with, Arashi having no formal training, just his parents’ swords that they left behind. Now neither of them even knew they were like distant cousins, to Koushiro Arashi is just this younger kid with an obnoxiously loud desire to go above and beyond to learn two swords style when he doesnt have any formal training nor does he even know one swords style! Koushiro finds Arashi annoying and even talentless—and yet for several years they met in a field so Koushiro could pass his formal lessons onto Arashi. Arashi couldnt learn at the dojo because he couldnt afford it. The lessons would stop once Koushiro is being prepared to take over the dojo one day and also when he meets his future wife—so hes about 21 give or take, Arashi is around 17 at the least. Their relationship was mostly bickering because Koushiro doesnt like Arashi’s rash attitude and tendency to goof off. And Arashi found Koushiro to be uptight and too grown up. Arashi never could surpass Koushiro in a dual, both one sword style and two sword style. Hes just always been several steps behimd Koushiro and that’s what pushed him to train more. Fast forward to present day, and honest to god Koushiro NEVER connected Zoro to being Arashi’s child. For one thing, he didnt know Arashi had a kid, thats how strained they became, and another, Koushiro, to be fair, doesnt even see an ounce of Arashi in this kid whatsoever. The ego and eagerness to go above and beyond, sure, but what little kid ISNT like that?? Anyway, it comes as a shock and a part of him feels more obligated to take care of Zoro after having witnessed Arashi’s death himself years prior when Zoro wouldve only been a toddler.

alex update: he's chilling with miles and some friends, havign a drink and watching some bands.

after the set, we all got a little bi too drunk, met up with James Ford (producer, and from simian mobile disco), james + simon (klaxons), lily allen, lovefoxx, a kook and some others (there was about 20 of us) and we wanted to go out at night to Lost Vague-ness (the most random field at glastonbury) but they didnt want to be noticed and harrassed, so we hired these random costumes. alex was a dinosaur, james was a swan, there was a chicken, a moose, me and lily were mushrooms...... was truley hilarious.

[its not really "news" but we just had a fight. a proper standing in the rain, shouting ourselves hoarse, having to be separated argument. thats the only problem with me and al, were too similar. SO stubborn, and a tendency to take things too personally and get a bit irrational. the basics, i was trying to be a good friend and tell him summat, he wasnt listening, we both said things we prolly shouldn't have, and then were taken away to calm down. it'll all be fine by the morning, thats just how we roll. but for tonight, im not gonna pretend were okay.]

that castle is huge and full of monsters. you can't tell me only lil D's and Barb & Dia live there. where are the guards ? the other workers?? little D's are more like silly children adopted by Barb- y'know when a family has debts to pay so the child goes to work at the castle

like that except there is no debt to pay they just want that lol

anyway so there are possibly more people in the castle, and Barb really doesn't.. do work that much. he mostly just bakes for Diavolo & when there are celebrations or other important things happening. that huge castle does not have one small kitchen istg the HOL's kitchen looks bigger 😭 and he also checks on the other worker's works, I prefer to think his duties are like Dia's. Diavolo is a very busy demon*, so he mostly does the work with people, and brings Justice™ to Devildom. ofc there are things Diavolo has to be present for, but most of the things are done either by Barbatos or people he chose (in different parts of the country, not everyone can meet the duke or the Prince himself.)

alright back on track I think the workers who work "above the ground" in castle are normal people/or "light" criminals or slaves left from war times (poor guys lol)

but lower, in the dangerous/more private parts of the castle like the dungeons or Diavolo's private garden The workers are poor souls who forgot everything they were. they're not allowed in the public unless its their body. I don'y think anyone truly knows if they've messed up so bad or Diavolo. just. just wanted them to work for him. cause theyre pretty perhaps?

And Barbatos is here to grant any of the young Lord's wishes.

*I still haven't thought of why Dia would be so damn busy I may even remove that part but its cool to think about. maybe he is still learning and chose Barb to do such things cause Barbatos knows all, and is trustable. idk really. but we know Dia is a spoiled brat so ?? maybe thats whats happening.

I really have to agree, there's no way Barbatos maintains that huge place by himself, demon or not. I've always headcanoned that he has a whole crew of helpers and guards and so on.

I also imagine the castle's kitchen to be absolutely ginormous. And he probably has a whole crew of cooks, too.

I like to think most of them don't live at the castle, though. Like they just work there and come and go and have varying shifts. Uhh but that's if they're just normal people and not criminals lol!

I suppose whether or not they actually did something terrible has to do with how deranged you want Diavolo to be. Like if he was really kinda off the deep end, he could absolutely just obtain people he thinks are pretty and for no other reason. That's real villain behavior generally speaking. But if you want him to be a little less that way, you could say they were criminals. Then at least there's a legit reason for it, even if the punishment is a bit intense... they are demons, so really there's a lot of ways you can go with it!

As for Diavolo being busy, I'm pretty sure it's canon that he is. I suspect it has to do with all of the crap that comes with ruling a kingdom. Paperwork, diplomatic meetings, making appearances at various functions, consulting with experts on things like constructions projects and the economy, and if Diavolo also has his own company in the human world, he likely needs to make appearances at meetings there, too... I'm just saying his canon job is extremely demanding. And then add RAD stuff to all that? Sheesh.

But this is one of the best parts of the castle stuff - they don't really get into a lot of detail about it. So you get to fill in all the details however you like!

What made you ship it? i liked them in tt03, which you know, is truly a feat considering how terribly that comic treats both of them. but their dynamic (angry homoeroticism) managed to be compelling still

What are your favorite things about the ship? i enjoy girl antagonism from time to time. i know were all sick of the trope that teen girls all hate each others guts but considering cassie has a pretty good relationship with all the other girls on her team(s) its fun to see her just go ugh i hate this one. this one can go. theyre just fun and bitchy and i think they should hatefuck about it. but beside that theres also so much potential there ! i think you know, if anyone writing that comic actually cared about cassie or rose or about their character development, it would have been interesting to see their relationship change over time instead of getting one issue where cassie implicitly calls rose family while protecting her, and then the next one she immediately she calls her a manipulative psychopath for no good reason bc they cant figure out how to make the team interesting without having some wildly antagonistic relationship that doesnt make sense if u think about it for a few seconds. theyre never going to be besties but it would have been nice to see them go from blind hate to an uneasy truce; they dont like each other but they do, unfortunately, care about each other, and lets see where we go from that. + itd be interesting to dig into cassies hypocrisy when it comes to hating rose

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? i guess its that i would like them to grow past mindlessly despising each other ? this is not me criticizing anyone but i feel like a lot of takes on cassierose ive seen are that they should stay in the hatefucking no mushy business❌❌❌phase which is definitely fair and true to how they are in tt03. but i do have some issues with the way they were written in tt03 (particularly cassie) and would like to see their dynamic progress from that (see rant above)

papa caledera (name undecided) inherited the failing business from his own dad and has been doing everything he can to keep its death as slow as possible LMAO fully believed he was going to fail completely before he married wyn's mom + was trying mostly to keep things looking ok enough for as long as he could LOL

his first wife (name undecided) was the one he married for love. pretty, sickly, useless to his business. after she died he lost any kindness he might've had. mother of ellis + ian

his second wife (name undecided) was the one he married for business. much much younger than him, was nineteen or twenty when she married him. lives a life of luxury in exchange for continuing to do everything she can to keep their family in the lifestyle they're accustomed to, and holding up her end of the bargain very well. mother of wyn. did not realize she could love anyone until she had her son. whether papa caldera is actually wyn's dad or not is unknown.

ellis "el" caldera (eldest son, 19) is the heir & eldest son of the family. current nrc fourth year+former dorm leader of octavinelle, using his externships to build more relationships w/those who might be able to benefit the family business. laying a lot of groundwork to try and keep things from crashing but whether these will pay off or not remains to be seen. learned a lot from his stepmother re:schmoozing; does not see her as a parental figure At All (sister/mentor/potentially his first love LMAO) former gifted kid who's forced to constnatly confront thte fact that he's not a true genius solely thru exposure to wyn. his father's favorite.

tanian "ian" caldera (middle son, 17) is Just Some Guy honestly. 2nd year at nrc in savanaclaw. naturally mediocre; works insanely hard at everything and thus becomes above average at it all. solid b/b+ student. Does Not Play Well With Others, on the track team after being kicked off the spelldrive team for causing too many fights. ruggie's current roommate, they ahve a "you keep to your business and i'll keep to mine" arrangement that works well enough. no close friends but gets on surprisingly well with riddle, who values his work ethic. idolizes ellis and wants to be closer to him but deeply aware of hte gap btwn their abilities, in no small part bc ellis always makes a point to subtly remind him when they're together. gets on poorly with wyn and therefore also with wyn's mother/his stepmother.

hedwyn "wyn" caldera (youngest son, 13) is a child prodigy who's revamped the world of potionology w/his new discoveries. nrc 1st year after a special invitation (that was then deferred a year so he wouldn't be in the same school year as ian), diasomnia freshman. breezing thru all his classes; does not actually attend alchemy and instead uses that time to work on his own independent potions research. has a specialized schedule and occasionally will help co-teach the third years classes when theyre working on smth tricky and crewel wnats an extra pair of eyes to help keep the building from burning down. deeply respects malleus as his dorm leaders but has never really been able to muster up the courage to go talk to him; respects+idolizes his eldest brother even more. fully repressing any realizations taht el might not love him w/the same unconditional purity as he loves el. always fights w/ian when theyre together, dreads being near him.

i tried to have a good day today because i was going out with my sister and b-i-l for my birthday and eating later with my whole immediate family. i did have fun! we bowled for 2hrs, went to a japanese bakery and got my birthday cake n some more treats, and i went to get milk tea.

everything was fine until i was near my mom.

i dont know what it is about her, but whenever im away from her for hours n i come back home, it just.... i just get so irritated.

on the way home from dinner, my parents were talking about a house that someone moved out of; they each gave different addresses for the house. my mom *insisted* she was correct, and--even though my dad literally said he may be wrong n doesnt rlly care abt the address--kept arguing that my dad was wrong and upset.

one thing abt my mom that i despise: EVERY SINGLE TIME you "irritate her soul" she will rant abt how much she hates you and at the end WITHOUT FAIL says "fucking trash bag bitch". what comes after that depends on the person... for me she'll say "fucking trash bag bitch, youre so fucking [r slur]" and for my dad she'll say "fucking trash bag bitch, child molesting mother fucker". there is one thats universal though which is "fucking trash bag bitch, i hope you fucking die"

oh! another thing abt that, SHE WILL LITERALLY SAY THAT ABT RANDOM PPL SHE SEES ON THE STREET AND ARE MINDING THEIR FUCKING BUSINESS

anyway, back to my story! while she was arguing w my dad (after telling me theyre not arguing) she said her signature line i stated above.

my dad went into the gas station after she said that to him and heres where i come in!

me n my friend have been talking abt getting an apartment/go apartment searching after i recover from my procedure that im having next week.

She was the perfect girl anyone could wish for. She was a good friend of Bendy the Ink Demon, which made her earn her horns. Yet she was still kept of the Princess title. She met the Demon once in her childhood, he was a crying child, so she helped him naturally. And they became good friends despite the opposite race. And then Boris, it was when he found her trapped in a demon's oblivion and coincidentally, he was best friends with Bendy. The two helped her from her mission and the three were almost inseperable.

However Bendy wasn't actually a child at that time, it was simply his small form. Yet he chose to stay by the two toons' side. It was a closeness he hadn't felt before. And that was his family.

Alice and Boris knew this, Bendy told them and they were happy. The wolf was the eldest in thinking, by the three, Alice was the youngest in age and mind, Bendy was the eldest by age. Boris and Alice eventually fell in love and married, while Bendy was left there simping for a fish who didnt like him(at first).

more rambling abt the yumeno under the cut (it's long)

i'll get this out of the way first: it's a popular headcanon that gentaro's older brother is an identical twin, extrapolating from gentaro's novel summaries that we get a brief glimpse on in the first chapters of the fp+m manga, and last year, in the gendice duet, murder at the magic house. couple that with the ominous implication of him impersonating a known yumeno-sensei (who happens to be his brother), far removed from what gentaro used to be. i Love my possibly committing identity-theft, driven by vengeance blorbo. it would be very funny if kr pulls a fast one on us and theyre not identical at all, so let's enjoy the art and the speculation while nothing's confirmed yet wwww they already did that by revealing that gentaro's "friend in the hospital" is actually a family member

there's so little we know about gentaro's home life. there's tiny bits of it, like how much his clothes mean to him, how he would starve himself writing bc of deadlines, that there's a specific cafe he hangs out in, etc. but unlike rmd or dice, details abt his origins are p hazy...scenario liar is an entire backstory that gets shut down at the end by claiming it's all a lie. but who's believing this admission anyway

my headcanon is that the yumeno were born and lived in nowhere snowy mountain town, hokkaido (just to explain his birthdate being a wintry april 1st). they were orphaned and taken care of by their grandparents. theyre not well-off and p isolated. i like to think that w the aging of their grandparents, they depend more on eo as they get older. fast forward to some time in the future, their grandparents pass, and they both move out, maybe together, leaving behind their home mostly empty with nothing of sentimental value but the house itself. there's no one else known in line to keep or take care of the house, and it's left without the possibility of renovation. what's the point of that anyway?

i like to think this scenario of their childhood home, abandoned and dilapidated from years of neglect, having a sort of local legend surrounding it, that the house is haunted. someone goes in that house in indefinite times of the year. if you strain your ears enough you might hear faint footfalls from the inside, or a gentle voice carried by the wind. in reality it's just gentaro visiting for no particular reason. it's an empty childhood home.

last year i made a drawing w a similar lighting (and vague setting) to the one above, completely unintentional. he's all alone now....

i based it on one of the stuff gentaro said on hypradio: he likes to eat watermelon while sitting on the engawa, and he has spat so much watermelon seeds overtime that he's grown a garden of his own. he says it's a lie of course.

while there's no evidence to prove or disprove that gentaro now lives in a house with an engawa (in shibuya!), i get sad thinking abt him living in a space as large as that in the middle of a busy city, alone...

one of my favourite things abt gentaro is although he shares the then-nihilism of fp, that everything has no meaning or purpose, he's not Entirely self-destructive like ramuda or dice. gentaro doesn't seem to think he's disposable especially when he's got some avenging to do. in fact he tries so hard to be invulnerable.

the irony is that theres very little of his own personhood to destroy anyway. what's there to dispose? even confessing, although he says it's a lie, "i'm not yumeno gentaro." in a way he's done with the destruction, done with the death, and he's well in the middle of decay— and decaying is a process full of life, it is less about reducing the body into smaller and smaller pieces than it is about being nourishment...gentaro's desire is to keep telling stories that might bring joy, even if it meant he'll have to keep lying his whole life....

i feel that i have more to say abt gentaro and his brother but my grasp on the english language is getting slippery the more i type lol. he drives me insane <3
