They're Dr D's actual nephew and grew up visiting him and being a little helper at the radio station he's had since the nineties.

No sense of self preservation honestly, okay so this is like my favorite headcanon for them just because its silly and they're a badass. So they grew up visiting LA but dr d took them away from it before the and of the wars so they never lived in it while it turned into battery city, and they've never been captured, but they have indeed been to battery city. Because they've broken in. Solely to be gay do crime. They sneak into the city to graffiti shit and flirt with pornodroids and recruit them to throw bricks into windows with them(not of apartments or townhomes, just the research and bli buildings and occasional business). They wear their skates or bring a skateboard, they dont drive, half the time they bring a boombox, blasting the fucking beastie boys or something in the middle of the night while they skate around the city, and somehow theyve never been noticed by bli or had to fight their way out, theyre crazy and i love them

Punk as shit, you don't grow up with your cool uncle that was openly gay in the nineties without learning that capitalism sucks and cops aren't your friends. Its a big part of why they sneak into the city and be a nuisace, becuse they want to do more than just fight from the zones, because that city was their home once, before bli took it over and put up the walls, and unlike most joys who hate battery city and just want to burn it to the ground, pony wants to save it. They want to cause a more direct change, something physical thats there in the morning, so that the juvie halls and city folk can see it and see bli working to scrub away grafiiti and fix shattered windows and they'll all know theres someone else out there that doesn't agree with bli, fighting for them and maybe theyll be inspired to do more too. And its why they recruit the droids or juvie halls they come across and put a brick in their hand, because the power that comes with that, the inspiration, it spreads, because Pony's read the stories about the Stonewall riots and knows that if enough of the city could unite to fucking fight from the inside, they could make a real change.

Cherri's their older brother, not biologically but they dont care, they were both too young to fight in the wars but thats where they met, when dr d was looking after them and took cherri in when he lost his dad, who was dr d's friend. They grew up in the zones together, learned to shoot together, figured out out who they are together, they're fuckin siblings.

Their gender is whatever annoys you the most at the moment, it also depends on who theyre around around, like with Poison they're like im ur girlfriend vs with Cherri like yeah im your brother. They dont care what people call them.

Childhood best friends with Newsie but you'd never know it. They fight like siblings but they're thick as theives. When the wars started they were kids that thought theyd never see eachother again, but they reunited years later as killjoys

They're crazy friendly, like terrifyingly outgoing. They love everybody and everybody loves them but they manage to stay pretty humble about it

I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT THE PROP STORY PLEASE. OH GOSH GIVE ME ALL THE THEATER STORIES I WILL MONCH ON THEM

Ahahahaha ok. So. We are doing this crazy-ass play in high school. And we're a small co-op of homeschoolers ok, so tiny budget, we get all the dumb crappy shows that are only good because at least it's THEATRE and we put our heart and soul in. Most of us. Most of the time. Anyway.

The whole entire premise of this play is that a bunch of 1850? Ish people are traveling out west by railroad. Idk what decade this was like 5 years ago. So 12 of these people all have the exact. Same. Suitcase. And they get swapped. Chaos ensues.

We MADE 12 identical suitcases out of wood and this leathery cover and put glow-in-the-dark glue numbers on the tops where the audience couldn't see, and each number corresponded to a character and had various props inside it. We went over the choreography like a gazillion times to make sure that when cases got swapped, everyone walked away with the case needed to progress the plot. My poor brother lost his mind trying to keep track of all the cases and all the things inside the cases.

There's way too many sub-stories going on in this plot, but suffice it to say that included in the Identical Case Club are: a gang of showgirls, two secret agents, two jewel theives, and a spy/terrorist.

Secret Agent Senior has gastrointestinal problems and barely appears onstage. Secret Agent Junior... thinks that the showgirl costume he accidentally swapped for is his disguise, and finishes the show in a bright red dress, wig, and "heels" which were actually red tennis shoes, and lipstick. The jewels and government papers are SUPPOSED to end up together, meaning that the spy/terrorist is convicted of both crimes, and the jewel theives get to start an acting studio with the failing showgirls. One of the nights, when the GI-challenged Secret Agent is supposed to line up all the cases and go through them, holding up the contents for the audience, THE JEWELS AND PAPERS ARE MISSING

So he just stares into this empty-ass case and nods like "Ah yes, here they are. The crown jewels and the secret government papers that were stolen. Yep, theyre right here, take her away!" And we are all like WHY

So yeah thats the Prop Story. I also have a Cringe Story and an Improv Story, and a Community Show Story.

long ask and kinda random but- wouldn't it be so funny if two characters are shown throughout a story, not together just yet but it is confirmed they know each other. They talk about each other constantly, and you wouldn't notice it at first glance but man its there once you notice it.

Character A is the type that is very friendly and casual, suddenly becomes polite, maybe even a bit too polite and almost distant talking about them (in a way thats obviously them restraining themselves) to the point u can't quite tell if they do genuinely care but they do know a lot about the other. Meanwhile, Character B has been cursed with a resting bitch face and makes talking about anyone sound like theyre insulting them. Their very short way of speech does not help especially out of context and without proper explanation (think; "I would chain them down to a chair if i could." But they meant that as in out of worry since A is so fucking reckless. Its maddening.) Anyways, other people think A is suddenly polite (out of apprehension?? being wary?? noone knows) but otherwise willing to talk about them (B) nicely. While people think B whose normally calm and relaxed, is always very pissed at A (yes and also no.)

The first time their on screen together basically amounts to a huge explosion on both ends with Character A nervous and unsure how to introduce them but reluctantly settles with simply. "Oh. their a good friend of mine." but B who is normally pretty quiet, just. absolutely goes off. "friend?? FRIEND??? We did not go through the shit we did, and survived together for the shit we went through for you to just call me a good friend."

listen its till death do us part in this household, i am your comrade in arms, your ride or die when you plan on overthrowing the government. I may only know maybe 2/5 of your hobbies but i know what you look like in near terror at the thought of ur loved ones being threatened and rising up in the flames of fury to protect them, and then a sobbing mess when you finally break down. Friend is fine but also man you could do to hype me up more over here-

I just need two emotionally contipated besties on opposite sides of the spectrum is that so much to ask- (also loudmouth and friendly but distant x quiet and stern but also ball of emotion ready to explode, is 💞)

Oh, this is a dynamic i’d actually love to see more of. The ‘are they friends or do they hate each other? I’m getting mixed signals here’ but then you see them in a room together and realize ‘oh, ‘friends’ doesn’t even BEGIN to describe what they two are’

They’ll kill for each other but also be the first to stop each other from killing

They’ll bite anyone who insults the other, but character B always seems ready to insult character A at a moment’s notice yet never does.

These two are thicker than theives. They’re the best of friends yet so much more. The very concept of their bond is too difficult for any mere moral to understand. Even the gods don’t understand what the heck is going on with these two.

I can think of a few pairings that sort of match this but also, this is so very specific and perfect i wouldn’t want to try and assign it to any character because it’s just…

Hello again!

Jun and Tatsuya being Akira's parents isnt exactly a secret. So, once they meet in person they all realize theyre his parents. It's just that on paper due to legal reasons Jun and Tatsuya arent his parents.

But like everyone in town knows. Like if Akira's teachers needed to talk to his parents they would just go to Jun or Tatsuya. They all remember the delinquent boyfirends being a meance in their teenage years. And they know that legally Tatsuya and Jun arent married but they had a wedding decades ago.

Morgana and Akechi are the first to meet them in person with Akechi being introduced as Akira's boyfriend. Gas chambers plays in Tokyo during their Asia tour so they stop by the cafe to check in on Akira (being told by Jun's grandma and Maya that Akira got an "oppertunity" to study in Tokyo for some program). They are both shook.

The rest of the phantom theives meet them during a road trip to visit Akira in his hometown. Jun and Tatsuya arent in their stage clothes so the only ones who realize theyre from gas chamber is Ryuji Futaba and Haru. And they have a blast watching everyone else slowly piece together who Akira's parents are:

-Akira has 2 dads 💡

- Akira's dads do look an awful lot like tatsujun 💡

readers creator, lets call them r/c, is a dollmaker, who makes different sized dolls for a living, and he makes life sized dolls sometimes

so reader was made by r/c, and when r/c went to bed after completing reader's main body and features, ei's divine power somehow leaked out? and brought reader to life.

idk how r/c would react but i have 2 ideas

no 1: r/c cant support another living bring bc hes barely coping with his meager income, so he lets reader free to fend for themselves

no 2: r/c figures he could get reader to be his maid/servant and mistreats them; doesnt feed them well, no proper living conditions bc hes broke

and the night reader tries to escape, r/c almost catches them, but a gust of wind blew past reader, allowing them to run faster and escape, essentially having freedom. basically, venti gave them an anemo vision, bc reader fought for their freedom kinda?

this is their first betrayal, with their creator abandoning/mistreating them, similar to scara

nect ,reader finds a village and makes a friend, ill call them f/n. so f/n and reader become closer, and reader finds out f/n steals things for the thrill of it. one day, f/n drags reader along on one of their theiving trips, and gets discovered. f/n disregars reader, and escapes without sparing a glance for reader. reader gets caught and takes the blame for the theft. this is the 2nd betrayal, where a friend turns on them

after escaping? finishing the punishment that was met out to them, reader finds a cat maybe? idk abt this one

but they become inseparable. think of tomo and his cat maybe? reader and the cat would chill tgt and cat would sit on readers head or shoulders and nuzzle into their hair or cheek. but one day the cat gets sick and reader goes out to find some medicine/herbs to help

but by the time reader gets back, the cat succumed to its illness and passed

ik these are all pretty similar to scaras backstory but im not creative ok 😪

all i started out with was reader being a doll lol and i came up with these from the timespan of 11pm to 2am

as im writing this its 12.40am lol

reader and scara meet, and scara realises theyre just like him

one is a puppet, the other a doll, and both went through similar experiences

scara and reader open up to each other eventually and fnd company in each other ig idk

another one could be r/c treated reader like his own child, but died of age eventually, and reader is alone, then meets scara after hes gone through his 3 betrayals

scara trusts them bc theyre a doll, similar to him being a puppet. but bc reader was brought up with love, they are a lot more caring and kind, and they cause scara to develop a soft spot idk

this was just rotting in my brain for the past few nights so yea 🧍

I'll try to make sense of this with my sleepy mind hhh *cleaning glasses* I don't really have much to say for fear that it might spill over to my puppet fic already and you pretty much got the details down, but a replica of his story with so many side characters doesn't sit right with me

I do very much lean on the creator tending to them - actually the set up is quite complicated and uhhh I honestly thought they'd be a doll made for Kuni or a doll commissioned by Raiden haha. We can say that the thing that made them come to life is archon residue and that the dollmaker either slowly became corrupted while in the presence of the doll or like Teppei and met an early death

From then on it could be that the people they want to get close to or even those that have bad intentions always die in their presence and so they became closed off, viewed as cursed, and scared to be near others. And since Scaramouche is a puppet, he doesn't have to worry about dying in their presence so he's pretty much the only one they can even be close to!

Maybe Scaramouche might go mad down the route from the exposure (angst) or upon acquiring the gnosis, the divine power cleansed the archon residue or exchanged it with the gnosis' power to make them alive (good)

(for me, i like h'aanit as a apothecary since a forest lady would also be interested in the non animal life too yes? or therion using his peculiar sword skills (seriously the dagger makes sense but a sword??) to be a warrior and stop theiving (as much-) )

then tressa just looks cute in a hunter outfit and ophelia in her dancer

ohhh oh id love to talk abt this (gonna put it under a readmore bc its long)

For Ophilia, gameplay-wise, i like running her as apothecary, i really like having access to all the healing skills on her (especially the status heal) and honestly, her offensive presence wasnt great for me when i was running her as scholar, so getting axe is also nice for her. i bet she’d run starseer amazingly, though i havent tried it on her. 

Aesthetically, i do love her scholar outfit. the bun is really cute on her. 

I like running cyrus as cleric. he’s all magic and no hp so getting the cleric overheal feels basically mandatory on him in my opinion. sorc is another obvious choice, but heal utility was too good to pass up. aesthetically i enjoy that most of his sprites have capes too. i really like the runelord one for him. 

Tressa obviously is the best runelord in the game but merchant is such a good class that she can basically run anything with it. she can do more shenanigans with warrior (and i really like the idea of her being trained in the sword by olberic.) but i also liked running her as thief for weapons coverage and support. aesthetically though, as great as the runelord outfit is, nothing beats the hunter outfit on her. she’s just so cute with the wolf hat. 

hunter/warmaster are the obvious choices for olberic and i usually just default to them. good weapon coverage, olberic doesnt care about his magic attack at all so theyre good on him. aesthetically i actually like his unclassed sprite, and the warmaster one’s pretty nice too

primrose is good in any class with a lot of support options, and also decent with magic. ran her as a cleric my second run and she did pretty great. personally, i think she’d also do pretty well in merchant or apothecary too. aesthetically tho, i really like her hunter outfit with the puffy sleeves and the starseer outfit. i also have a fondness for her sorc outfit only because she doesnt seem to be wearing pants under this giant silly coat and i think its a litte ridiculous 

for Alfyn, honestly it feels hard to slot him into a second class, i just feel like every time i was reclassing him i just gave him whatever needed filling in. he made a pretty great merchant, though. i ran him as dancer then starseer my first run tho for dark magic coverage, and theyre both supportive so he does just fine in them. aesthetically i do like the starseer on him. and the merchant one bc i like the hat :) 

Therion.... i love how he keeps the scarf in so many of his sprites. gameplay wise i have put him all over the place. thief is great both offensively and supportive, so you can totally take him wherever you want. i actually ran him as scholar most recently and he was surprisingly good at it, his magic isnt even bad. kinda like the idea of him actually developing an aptitude for magic.  merchant and hunter both give him really great weapons coverage too. (even if hunter was literally just access to leghold trap it would still be the best subclass in the game tho, leghold trap is that broken) but overall he can slot basically anywhere. maybe he wouldnt be that good as cleric but tbh hed probably still do fine. also i love his runelord outfit. 

i totally agree with H’aanit in apothecary (and the outfit is really cute) but ive never run it because of the axe overlap. once again like olberic slotting her into warrior or warmaster is just the obvious choice so thats what i usually go for. i really love the short dress outfits she has, like the ones for cleric and scholar (even though those are probably not the classes i would go on her, lol) 

in conclusion runelord looks good on everyone

my gut reaction to this was "cliff racer" in all caps, but thats not true. thats me projecting. the animal she probably fears the most is almost definitely the Kagouti. its a little silly, a level 25 or something Nerevarine running scared from a mouth with legs, but its true.

25: thoughts on marriage?

shes a lesbian, who recently learned what being a lesbian was, so i would say that she is open to the idea, but only with someone shes known for a couple years, when they both know theyre ready. she does get married after the events of Morrowind and the Tribunal expansion to her girlfriend, Bosriel.

31: who are they most glad to have met?

her girlfriend, Bosriel, who worked for the theives guild. if she never met her, she would probably be a broke, law abiding citizen with no girlfriend and no cool theif friends.

B: what inspired you to create them?

i have a whole ass rant locked and loaded, but honestly? not worth the trouble of typing it out. ill paraphrase: me. i inspired me to create her. when i was first experimenting with my art style (and copying other peoples art styles to see if they worked for me. no im not proud of that), i drew a character with long white hair and a cool flowy robe and a broadsword at her side. i hadnt named her, so she just kind of sat there for a few months. when i looked at her again, now a much better artist, i decided that it would be nice to have an OC of my own instead of drawing other peoples OCs.

so i created her in Morrowind, and named her after the city of Tel Mora. because i didnt think anyone would notice? i dont know my thought process there. once Player Character Mora was created (an altmer mage) i started drawing her a lot more. shes one of my favorite OCs.

D: have they always had the same physical appearence, or did i have to edit their look

im not going to show you the concept art, because im very embarassed of my talentless youth, but i am going to tell you that she went through a lot of changes over the years, ive fiddled with her hair length, color, height, facial features, backstory, literally anything you can think of. but in the end, i returned to the same basic look as the concept art: a tall altmer woman with long flowy hair and a sword at her side. although im very very proud of myself for at least changing her clothes. i made her some custom armor that i think ive shown on my blog before, but if not, here ya go

ummm anyway first and foremost they cannot die......like legit. sing dont exist wdym. it's some real the old guard shit actually 🤨🍷 idk if anyone here has watched tht but Basically the ppl can die but their wounds heal up instantly and they can just keep going [that movie was so sexy i reccomend it] n that's pretty much how i think the killjoys operate? it's a little sadistic tho bc theres really nothing like teens telling you all the graphic ways theyve been maimed and killed only to still b kickin.....no ones sure if the girl shares the same curse/power, and theyre too scared to truly test it.

but yeah they fuck around w it a lot ghoul keeps track of how many times they all die and jets like thats not funny and ghouls like im sorry i cant hear you over my winning streak. he gets to 69 and they have never seen him so happy hes sofucking annoying......but kobra also kinda doesnt take it seriously he purposefully kinda throws ghoul around like a ragdoll just bc he knows he can. to quote myself from one of kyrs and i's various conversations, "youre laughing. ghoul just died and youre laughing, kobra." u know how in the dream theives ronan throws noah off the fucking roof. yeah thats their dynamic.

can the killjoys actually die like in the old guard where they randomly stop healing? who knows? maybe theyll be like this forever, or maybe theyll slow down one day. who's to say they even age. not them.

anyway um on a less edgy note.........as for their backstories.....kobra n party grew up in the city definitely 🤨 no ones sure who stopped taking the pills first the memories are so fuzzy......what they both DO remember is doing hurried things at night like chopping all kobras hair and running as fast as they could into the desert and hiding out till they were found by dr d. i love their dynamic like yeas. party is an annoying whiny bitch who cries and is heartbroken easily and kobra is the human embodiment of B| but they love each other very much.......party holds kobra close when he cries and vise versa and kobra will never forget the things party did to make him feel so safe bc listen. that is their babie brother. they would die for him. kobra is so fragile at first like he'd never admit it but oh.....the way his voice shook when he told party hes a boy n im not going to touch on that for tht long bc that's embarrassing hiiii but kobra is So trans. look at him and tell me that is Not a transmasc as fuck guy. it goes over well tho bc party lives breathes and dies for kobra and their gender is also yes heheheh....... anyway theyre both found by jet and pony one day and dr d kinda takes em in.......theyre v v wary at first n party kind of glares at everyone the whole time and if they get too close to kobra they will Be Violent and kobra just sits very still the whole time but eventually they warm up and become all alive blah bla bla <3

oh and ghoulll yeassss this bitch........ghoul is also desertborn but hes been on his own for a while.......kobra n party were found pretty early on by show pony n co. but ghoul wasnt found until they were abttttt.........15 or so? and God they were absolutely feral still is but he Bit. so much. he hissed and everything. he just sat in the corner glaring at everyone it took quite a bit of time to actually get him to open up......and he was so paranoid theyd throw him out if he fucked up.....he knocks something off dr d's desk and they find him hiding and crying somewhere and they all hug him and tell him its okay and hes like What.......its more of a subconscious fear now he trusts the others w his life n stuff but like...deep down yknow....anyway he still bites it's mostly to piss off kobra their relationship is.....fun. ghoul brings home wild animals and growls if he wants and kobra is like Die. kobra lives to piss off ghoul oh my god every chance he gets he takes a jab at him pls....ghouls like look at this tiny little bitch i found while holding up a mouse and kobra is like thats what we said when we found you and ghouls like BITCH. he likes to write short stories! he and shifty fight over the big 90s computer in their room for who gets to either play minecraft or write some more story that night. theyre mostly cyberpunk! he really likes the future and the idea of fixing it and its potential. it’s fun. he really likes kirby games, partly cos of the fucked up lore, but also just because calm and cute. he rly likes the thrill of the steal--whereas shifty steals to get more stuff, he steals cos its AWESOME and exhilirating. so whereas shifty goes after specific stuff, lifty maps out the building and decides what to take while theyre there. plus, he figures if they need food, shifty’ll get it. also i think hes autistic :D

i wanna say theyre both cats but lemme think of something more interesting

aizawa might be a black panther, or maybe a melanistic lion (the mane would be his scarf)

shinsou’s a bit more difficult, if we’re sticking to cats i think a snow leopard or a clouded leopard would be a good fit

but branching out to other animals, i can easily see his being a bat or a raccoon (raccoons are often characterized as being theives, shinsou’s quirk often leads to people thinking he’s going to be a villain)
