ok so i know thats not the point of the post but these tags are SO REAL. theyre everything

ok bc theyre both so competent and awesome alone but like… cass is So Good at reading body language and every move she makes is so perfectly calculated. tim tends to have a plan but theyre usually a little underdone and he operates on the assumption it Will Go Right - he doesnt really make contingencies plans, he just kinda does things and usually it does work out okay, i’ll grant him that, but cass would be the one to figure out failsafes and ensure things go as smoothly as possible.

tim is so fucking charismatic. dont get me wrong i love the absolutely oblivious idiot way fanon adopts him as, but hes so persuasive. and cass, who never needed to talk, is… not the best at it. so tim helps charm people for cass, and cass helps him be thorough in his plans, and she makes sure he takes breaks, and theyre both the best and worst pair. people hate to see the two of them coming

Because this man… this man has acquired all of his children with zero premeditation. Yes, he does have a bio kid, but that one showed up on his doorstep as a preteen. He did even less acquiring with that one than with the others.

Bruce has a blast acting out his disappointment, and has to turn some so that he can no longer see Tim and Cass leaning against each other and laughing, because otherwise he’s going to start laughing.

Okay waaiittt guys this episode was surprisingly very nice!

I really really enjoyed how summer and morty's relationship was portrayed, it makes me smile whenever theyre portrayed as close to each other. Or i guess more specifically them understanding each other very well, and even if they disagree they know exactly how and what the other is thinking.

Uurrmmm beth and summer were also very interesting and fun to watch, beth especially trying to be kind of a 'cool' mom/friend and sucking up to summer, and summer immediately catching and exploiting that. It rounds both of their characters out very nicely. The ending where summer disregards her entire development to get high was kinda funny to me, since i think the show is trying to make the point that even if summer currently is kind of vain and impulsive, she'll eventually grow into that smarter and more opportunistic version of herself. Idk

Rick was kind of just there but like thank god. I really dont think he could have added anything much more meaningful to the plot, or at least i think the plot was good enough to justify his 'absence'. Him being excited over jaded ptsd-ridden engineer morty was cute i really enjoyed it. In general rick was very goofy and silly here which i think was very nice and. Oh my god. Like excatly what ive been talking about for the last three billion years. Like where morty gets more cynical rick instead becomes more stupid and goofy and that is really really perfect. THANK YOU.

Umm morty was also like actually genuinely perfectly written. I cant believe im saying this but i genuinely dont think i could have asked for anything else. Okay well maybe that they made him a little gay but even then i'll turn a blind eye since he was aware of the matrix so maybe . Um. Idk. Whatever. Anyway who cares. The point is he was like actually so well done and every line of dialogue made me smile every time he was on screen he was doing some shit. That he WOULD be doing. Like it really is just so him to get attached to fake matrix people while also fully knowing they were fake(being a sentimental little fella runs in the family). And his adult design actually looking really fucking good. Also him being a firefighter😭😭😭 awesome. Im just like. Delighted. Jubilant even

I will say tho and this is me being nitpicky and annoying that the writing at times felt very. On the nose. Very much tell. Not show. Like beth and summer + morty and summer reconciliation scenes were both very much these Lets Beautifully Phrase Our Deeply Rooted Strugglers dialogues and idk ... Seemed a little clunky..... But like honestly i could forgive this episode for pretty much anything considering it delivered exceptionally on the morty as well as rick&morty front

The first submission, and a GREAT start! I love your clean style, and the colors you used. Like I said before, I LOVE the birthmark

The colors here are FANTASTIC. The fades between each scale plate are super unique. I really love the pattern of the stars, too. Just a super cool style in general.

I ADORE the idea of nightwing scales going white with age for this dude. As I said before I loveee how he’s shaped. So many fun lore ideas were added to this guy. I love old men

Beautiful wings and awesome colors. The combo of red and blue is really cool. You have such a pretty style!!! And I love their big ears

The amount of detail put into this is CRAZY. Especially with those accessories - holy crap. They were something i particularly kept note of because of the job this character has in the story …

Love love loveddd this guy. Again, the tear drop jewelry was something I kept in mind and really liked. There’s so much care put into the scales in this drawing. Omg some of you have patience that I do NOT

my design of towntrap (now changed to tomtrap), eak and cami for my fnafhs take! fhsc (five nights at freddy's high school channel! veeeeryyyy shortened)

design explanation and silly doodles under the cut!

the little motifs that links them together are, for all three of them, their eye make up! i noticed in the show both towntrap and eak have got a big eye make up thing going on; towntrap has that eyeshadow on the outer sides and eak has the ICONIC little dots in each corner but in the few times we see cami's eyes she just has the usual eyelashes all girl characters have. maybe the second bump renders her eye style more original but i decided to make it furtherly distinctive

my version has instead these lines that lowkey look like a clown's or jester's, that resemblance doesnt have any intention behind i just think it looks cool on her

secondly the motif that links only eak and cami together, which in my version were the first to know each other, is their school uniform ties

in these designs they dont wear their ties around their neck, just like how in the original neither eak nor towntrap wear them at all (towntrap does in the first season though, it's in the second one and onward where it dissappears). i decided to apply that little trait to cami as well, to make her feel just as connected to these two and to really make it clear they're a package deal. most importantly, they traded each other ties, so eak wears cami's around his wrist and cami wears eak's as a ponytail before the show's events (when she's more lively and less timid and less going through the horrors, as seen with the eyemake up doodle) and around her waist as a sort of belt afterwards.

of course towntrap doesnt have a tie in the show either, so tomtrap doesnt either. the character reason is because he likes to look more informal. him having his jacket tied around his waist was because 1. drawing jackets is hard and i think having it this way makes both drawing him and his silhouette more easy and redable. the lore reason though is that he got told my a teacher that he looked too much like another teacher wearing it (this is because towntrap's first appearences on the show had people thinking he was a teacher and like, who can blame them its true LMAO).

HOWEVER i couldn't get the red tie motif on his design, the color just didn't suit him. momentarily i tried having his sporty headband be red and be eak's tie (that way the tie rotation would be: cami has tom's, eak has cami's and tom has eak's) but i decided against it. instead it served to make eak and cami's seperate friendship become more accentuated, but i still wanted eak to have a motif with his best friends so realised something. his headband and the jacket he wears around his waist are green and gray, which are the colors of eak and cami's hair! of course not the same shade but thats unimportant. so that way he keeps his besties in his design :3

also i just wanted to mention eak's boots

in the og show his taste in footwear is absolutely terrible im sorry but like look at this man

honestly i get it eddo like who cares about a character's shoes we barely even see the character fullbody anyway this is like the only scene where he's like that and we get to see that crime against humanity

i opted for some mexican style-ish boots with a simplified pattern that i think looks pleasant to the eyes with those two brown tones. used the darker one to color his belt too, so i can reuse colors and give the design an unified look. lowkey based on these bad boys

he's having an awesome time i promise this is just how he looks when he's not reacting to anything or he's just deep in thought

however it unsettles others a bit and he feels so bad about it and tries to always be smiley but it's a big effort and makes him unable to concentrate much

(also yeah that's bonbon/usagi! she shouldn't be in tom's class LMAO but i wanted to practice her design. im a spaniard so sadly the only education system i know well enough to trust myself putting in a story is spain's (although with a few artistic liberties for plot's sake) :pensive: eak, cami and tom are both bachilleres in their second year (so they're 17 years old, although tom was born earlier, he's 18 when the show happens) and bonbon and most of the rest of the cast is on the fourth grade of ESO, which would be the last year of highschool, bachillerato is like highschool 2, so they're around the 15-17 age range)

eak and cami have known him for so long they know that its just how he looks when relaxed. they reassure him about it, how it's everyone else's problem not his. they appreciate whenever they see tom like that, since it means he's comfortable

would it be fine for two characters with very similar facial differences (pretty identical, small differences and on the opposite sides of the face) to like. joke together about “oh we’re twinning!” “hey thats MY thing/copycat” “it looks Way cooler on ME than YOU cause im So cool and awesome and ur a loser :/“ in like. a very clearly teasing/joking way, both are in on the jokes and neither are offended + theres no issues with the other characters and these two’s facial differences, they don’t feel like theyre ugly or gross for it, they’re mostly brought up when these two are being silly abt it. there is also another character with a facial difference who isn’t in on these jokes, the two are teenagers and best friends and he’s an adult + guardian figure of one of them so they just don’t joke with him that way n stuff.

does this make sense? idm providing more info if needed, and I think this is fine as far as I know between general fd research and going through ur tag on it on this blog, but i wanted to be sure! ty :3

I think that's cool and silly, Especially if they're both teenagers. The "omg we're twinning" is honestly very real, seeing another person with a similar facial difference is like that one "same hat!!!" meme. Like hell yeah we are twinning.

I really like that there's not only multiple characters with facial differences but also that they get to be a bit whimsical and have friends. It's nice to see that.

as you can see i Love tenakth armor. somehow it makes the headdresses that look silly on everyone else Really Goddamn Cool, i love how it looks genuinely scary to get headbutted by one of these bitches. i love the shoulderpads and breastplates and arm guards. i wish they had a layer beneath the armor so you didnt have exposed guts, but i like the exposed body paint/tattoos since theyre individualized and tell a story about the person bearing them. i like how they manage to have bright colors without feeling tacky and still looking badass. theyre just generally my kind of design. though i think the top three are better at Being Armor, since they have full body coverage(some of the tenakth live in the snow???? cmon yall youre gonna get frostbite). i think if they were full body coverage like armor should be, they'd strike a PERFECT balance between practicality and coolness. and it is im just going to have to mourn for the fact that technically the carja behemoth trapper armor is the most 10/10 design despite the literal AWESOME BULL HORNS on MULTIPLE tenakth armor sets. tenakth armor just has somethin goin for it i love it

umm shoutout to @handmethelilies actually revived my interest in grease because i saw them posting in the nihil and sister tags when first getting into it and OBVIOUSLY i had to encourage that and likeeeee i saw the grease posting and went waow…… sister imperator is so rizzo….. also i recently rewatched the movie and gawddddd that shit is funny af. don’t me that papa nihil WOULDNT pull a “don’t make me laugh sandy.. I'm still sorta workin on the story plot wise but basically I imagine it as like the lifers are brought into like a semi-reset realm of Mianite under the guise that it's supposed to be like a regular life series (but its not 👀!) Ianite's back to being imprisoned and maybe there's also some other underlying happenings Watcher related or not idk haha

(the god followings i mention later on were based off @ranababamboo , they made some awesome art for this crossover u should totes go check out :D)

I think it'd be funny if theyre still greeted by a version of Dec (or maybe Pix or Iskall would make a funky cool prist :Oc) and are introduced to the mechanic of the game- It works similar to Secret Life where they're all given a set of tasks; One from Mia, Dia and Ianite, and based on how they go about the tasks each session, it leads into them forming factions (aka the god teams) with Lizzie starting off with Mianite and later finding evidence of a Marthanite and BigB doin his funky backrooms things (he's set to follow the World Historian how he gets there I'm not sure but if anyone wants to add on feel free! /nf)

Tiem Reester isn't present but I think it'd be interesting if there's like traces of them (implying this takes place post-s2 but funky multiverse relative universe things hehe) I have plans for Jordan and Tom specifically in linking this to their hardcore series from last year I affectionately named Linked Life bc of the whole "if we all die the server resets" but ye. ye ;]c

I imagine tons of shenanigans ensue ofc from both just them all bein the silly goofys they are, and then as they start to form their factions (maybe both by god followings but also if the factions are mix of the different gods too would be interesting to see... Like Mounders with two dianitees (pearl n joel) a mianitee (bdubs) and an ianitee (mumbo) for example👀 As the sessions go on the tasks become more interesting/offputting or odd that are maybe more lore related, like one big one I keep coming back to is Ianite sending Mumbo to the S1 skycage via a book only given to him with a chest of redstone supplies to make a flying machine

How much the gods appear kinda varies, I've already half written this bit that Scott, Tango and Mumbo are the first to see a physical form of Ianite after a redstone-filled night of building and Pearl becoming Dianite's champion so yeyeyeeyeyeeee!!! :D

do you have a favorite fontaine character? 👀

Ok so like, multiple reasons I do not have a clear cut answer for this:

The thing about Fontaine is that they genuinely have such an incredible cast I legitimately cannot pick a favorite character. Like seriously this is such a hard question because so many of them are just AWESOME!!! Many are just well written, beautiful, so interesting, tragic, all of it

I am waiting for Clorinde's story quest...I have been waiting for more Clorinde content since Fontaine P1. Since her cutscenes with Navia and Wrio. I HAVE BEEN WAITING!!! I WANT MORE OF HER SO BADDDDDD BECAUSE!!! OMG!!! So far, she's had both such a serious and dutiful persona, but also she's so sweet and kinda awkward??? she also may or may not have family baggage because of her family heritage... If they do her character justice (haha) she might be one of my favorites

Ok currently the actual contenders for favorite are, like, Neuvillette and Furina. My stance on neuvifuri as a ship tho is a whole other mixed bag, but both of them individually are just so!!! YO!!! THEYRE JUST SO CHARACTER!!! Neuvillette, this beautiful, gentle, and truly dutiful dragon who learned to love humanity. Furina who's madness and goodness are what allowed her to fulfill her own duty. Man. They're both just so interesting and SILLY EVEN. Just wonderful little bbgs to mess around with.

Not to say I don't love Fontaine's other characters either. Far from it. I have not liked a character this fast ever (?) like I liked Chevreuse in just one event. Chevy is so goofy and passionate and genuine I like her a lot!!! Wrios is just. Such a cool fucking guy idk what to tell u man. He's both so chill but also godDAMN you do not mess with him. Navia!!! Such a lovely lady who's so strong, after all that she has gone through and all the responsibility she now carries!!! Truly girlidol girlslay girlboss she's incredible!!! AND OF COURSE THE TWINS AND FREMINET!!! Lyney and Lynette are such an amazing duo in their magic tricks, their agent duties, their siblinghood. Freminet is such a precious boy, please protect him he just wants to swim with the ocean creatures :<<<

Not to shade on the rest of the cast of course. Arlecchino (aside from being sexy as fuck) I'm also just waiting to see what else she actually has under her sleeve. Sigewinne and Charlotte are both nice and cute! By no means are they boring or uninteresting, just not my type, Chiori as well.
