more particle system stuff. this time: eyelashes
#the left hand side is the cc eyelashes i usually use & the right hand side is the particle system lashes#kind of subtle but#i think i actually kind of like em#they're not perfect but i mean. they do the job yk#i thought maybe eyelashes would be an easier place to start as opposed to an entire head of hair#& i was right but. this was still a lil difficult#mostly bc i couldn't figure out how to easily mirror it so i had to do like. 4 separate particle systems but.#whatever. it's fine. i did it#i did make kelly take his makeup off though bc it's a lot harder to see when he's wearing eyeliner so yea.#but it's ok bc his red eyelashes are kinda cute#he looks so tired without his makeup but that is genuinely just his face#n e way. moving on i guess.#rainyrambles

Currently watching this very cliche (but still decently enjoyable) Christmas movie and it has this horse girl subplot where the older sister is falling in love with horses, but there are these long, lingering shots where she's looking at this female farmhand working with the horses, and she keeps talking about how great and cool that farmhand is, and I can't decide whether it's actually a burgeoning lesbian subplot or just a heavy accidental implication, but it really does feel soooo close to overtly romantic.
Anyways my hot new ship is these two. Time to build it from the ground up ;)

I was thinking about dispassionate romance, where they're just in love as a matter of fact, when sparks don't fly when they touch but it's casually intimate -- y'all know I love passionate 'bloodlust in multiple ways' romance, but dispassionate romance is severely underappreciated!
And I was thinking that I would even be interested in a straight dispassionate romance (straight romance genre generally holds no appeal for me whereas queer romance does), but I realized I was only imaging a very old-fashioned and formal period piece couple, so I tried imaging a modern straight couple, like normal people I would see around campus, being sweet and casually intimate, just leaning into each other (way more high contact that historical couple's hand-kiss cause Change of Society Norms) and y'all, I gagged.
So it's shaping up that I definitely have some romance-aversion/repulsion xoxo couples stay away!
