One of my favorite things about Rise is the utilization of nicknames in the show. This is the first iteration of the TMNT that really dived deep into nicknaming the boys. ❤️🧡💙💜

Also, the fandom has come up with quite a few great names of their own!

I wanted to list off some of the names from the show, some names I’ve heard around the interwebs, and some of the ones I’ve personally made up.

live in a house with a home gym in the basement as heros get recognized too much and they fight each other ALL THE TIME

kiri brags about being above him in hero rankings sometimes just to tease

kats is actually super proud of him and it adds to his motivation to become a better hero

they never really argue, even tho kats still yells, they solve a lot of their disagreements by talking it out and it's sorted out quickly

have a HUGE dog like great Dane big bc kiri loves them

also have a siamese cat. named princess. she loves katsuki. kats says he doesn't like her but they always cuddle

dinner dates every saturday, no matter what. they always find time to have a night for themselves

fans love to see them together as they aren't super public about their relationship, but everyone knows they're together

they spend christmas at katsuki's and invite kiris moms every time, their families are super close

kiri proposes first, and by first I mean kats was also planning to propose kiri just beat him too it

kats gets kiri "just because" gifts all the time

they're so juicy 👀 they're so great that i even forgot i started this show bc of michael emerson 💀 i would've definitely freaked out over them in 2014 tbh. not sure what root's trying to do but i can tell shaw definitely likes it LOL like if you watch their scenes out of context, you'd say this show's about two lesbians trying to seduce each other while doing dangerous things 😬 hope they end up together and happy 🥹
