Heartbreaking: person you like doesn’t like Gale Dekarios because he’s “annoying” and “doesn’t have as ‘traumatic’ or interesting of a story” and “doesn’t have that much bearing on the story” (cough cough that damn vampire too, but sure Gale has “nothing” going on.) oh you don’t like Lae’zel? Who could’ve guessed that…?
Also I don’t think 90% of people know what infodumping actually is. And besides anytime I hear it y’all just sound like dicks. “He’s infodumping” go make actual friends that don’t shop on shien and call literally anything tmi. I’m putting “infodumping” on the shelf until you learn how to enjoy a game that isn’t all killing things or action 24/7.

really actually kind of enjoy how the big lore moments are sort of quiet on a singular stream (or a small group!) instead of the events solely being the lore; i think there would be this hesitation to develop anything solo if the server reinforced this idea that Big Lore could only happen during scheduled events and days. instead the more narrative-progressing moments (take the baghera hybrid experiments revelation or the philza birdnapping for recent example) are very low-key and almost unhyped up— there’s no expectation for that kind of lore necessarily at the time which makes it more rewarding to experience as a viewer. big fan of how they do the events as player bonding time rather than serious narrative progression because it allows all the players (especially the ones who don’t engage in the rp side that much) to participate and get to know each another more; it’s very neat it’s really smart it’s nicely executed

The reason you’ll only see me write the ishimondus and not Phoenix/Edgeworth or Zoro/Sanji is very simply . I’m afraid of change

i love my econ group bc they’ll write the most complex thorough sentence about econometric analysis and data coding and then they’ll slide it over to me and i have to be like ‘nice! you have zero grasp of basic grammar though!’

i love when people seemingly do everything in their power to interpret what you’re saying in the most bad faith way possible. it’s so fun and nice. (sarcasm)

wild fucking take i saw and like. i know it’s funny to make fun of catholics bc of historical oppression but i don’t think it’s unreasonable that, if you are an unbaptized person at a catholic religious ceremony, you’re expected to not take communion. you came into their house

Two weeks ago, I sat my class down and we talked about ‘dr’ and how it sounds like ‘jr’ and if it sounds like a ‘jr’ it’s almost always going to be a ‘dr’ instead
cue them trying to think of ‘jr’ words - everything they’ve thought of so far has been either dr, gr, or j(vowel) so I challenged them to see if they could find any, because I honestly couldn’t think of any but hey, maybe I’m forgetting some!
It’s been two weeks and they’re still trying <3

even does know what plants are though. (as per doctor who canon, the way ships manage to keep oxygen on long voyages is via having literal forests in them. now, nothing to that extent, obviously, they weren’t that well-equipped or funded. but there’s definitely plants In There, probably relegated to a much more ordered existence, think the difference between a natural forest and one grown for logging.) at least they have that. they have seen plants. not often, but they have.
i don’t think they really understand plants beyond their functions (to eat, keep everyone breathing, etc.) whereas with natural beauties and animals and other such things that even has no experience with and can wonder over, they can’t really. do that with plants. the ability to admire a flower rather than immediately think of it in terms of resources lost and gained in its creation is a skill they have to learn.
but you know. at least they have seen them. that’s something. that’s slightly less depressing, right.

Seeing so many sunny posts lately where I’m like hey I touched on that detail in my fic from a few weeks back :D people would actually maybe like these little details :D but then the fic itself has so little engagement so far and I didn’t want to spoil little details in summary, and I’m also absolutely too terrified/mortified to share a link to it, but I’m just like aahh, aaahhh

Looking at predictions for Dino Entei: half are super cute and would probably make it my fifth favourite out of the Paradox Legendaries (after Iron Leaves, Walking Wake, Iron Crown and Robo Terrakion and before Raging Bolt) and the other half are just wtf. Basically, if it’s a stegosaurus, triceratops or ankylosaurus (and I’m sure it’ll definitely be one of the three) it’ll be really cute and I’ll regret being mean to the Past Paradox Pokémon, otherwise Jesus fucking Christ! What have you done to my baby Entei?
Looking at predictions for Robo Terrakion: good to see I’m not the only one predicting orange lights. Also there are about three and none of them give it the armour that Iron Leaves and Iron Crown have. And why is the Paradox Terrakion tag on Tumblr empty when the Paradox Entei tag isn’t? This is an offence!

I think the Duffers and Netflix should now be obligated to include Argyle in season five, idc, write him in even if it’s just one scene.

sending this anonymously because i dont want to spark anything but. is there like a genuine reason people consider kinning N a red flag. i don't see it
for him especially its not really about N himself but rather the types of people who end up kinning him i guess? idk its hard to explain. you get it though hopefully
