god hearing ads for true crime podcasts is bad enough but the ones where they use audio/dramatised audio of people screaming or crying on the phone to emergency services are so fucking evil what is wrong with you people

#at least when its some 30something amateur ‘investigative journalist’ bragging about how they did sharp objects irl #i can tune it out until i grab my phone to skip ahead #but hearing some woman scream that someone killed her baby when im not expecting it is so rough #and i don’t have any personal experience with a situation like that. it must be so much worse for people who have #generally idk how i feel about regulations and whatnot but i think advertising is something that should have limits #like im also sick of gambling ads where they just slap a Gamble Responsibly at the end and call it good enough when gambling is a huge #issue in this country #i especially hate the gambling ads clearly marketed towards kids it’s so evil #like. i understand that on the topic of gambling people think that regulation is government hand-holding and we should let adults do what #they want #but if that’s the case then why are drugs criminalised #idk it’s a topic where i’m just going off of my gut feeling because i haven’t done any proper research into it #im just sick of gambling companies using memes and video games and whatever to advertise and then pretending Its Definitely Not Aimed At Kid #s #wow these tags went a bit off topic

(Conversation between sonic and Nine after Nine messed with the Shatterverse to force Sonic to stay with him ......kinda like Chris in Sonic X just worse)

"Listen kid I may not know exactly what you went through for all these years but I know what it feels like. To long for a better life. To mourn days and people who cared and loved you. I know about all those things believe me . But burning down the whole World is no soloution to ease that pain."

(Shadow confronting Nine about messing with the shatterverse)

The dino benches are super cute. The angle is a little weird, though. And there's other seating if you're scared of dinosaurs. Looks like there's non-dino flat benches in the back on the right and a raised stone bench / retaining wall area on the left with grass and trees. I'm a little worried that there's no arm rests on any of the seating areas, though. It might be difficult for people with mobility issues to stand back up. Super cute for in front of a dino museum, though! And I totally want one.

wait do people read first person stories and think they're the ones in the story???

Saw people talking about not liking first person, which is fair, but their reasoning was like "I would not do that" and I don't understand that mindset.

First person stories are still about a character. A character making their own decisions. First person isn't about you???? At least I thought it wasn't. What am I missing? I've always seen first person as just a more in-depth look into a character's mind and stricter POV. Not as a reader stand-in.
