like with the bats he’s the “perfect kid.” like following batman’s orders to a t, the most “normal” of the bats

but around yj he’s the insane bastard we all know and love.

then one day, for some reason, the bats and yj have a joint mission, and yj is in charge

i do not have the ability to write the scene i’m imagining but just the bats slowly realizing that not only do they know /nothing/ about tim, but he has been purposefully obfuscating his true self from them, because it’s obvious to anyone with eyes that tim is much more comfortable with them

idk i just love the idea that tim doesn’t trust the bats enough to let his personality shine
