I remember someone saying that Eddie wasn’t much of a hugger and I thought about what if Steve isn’t really one either? Like if I’m remembering correctly he’s never actually hugged anyone but he’s big on comfort though even if it’s mostly verbal not necessarily physical unless he’s dating the person. I like to think that when Steve and Eddie get together it’s a slow build up to physical touch and it takes awhile for them to realize that it’s actually their love language. When they get comfortable cuddling for the first time it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off their shoulders. Just them finding peace in each other’s arms is all I need and want 😭
