Can’t stop thinking of the concept of Martha and Thomas Wayne getting resurrected pre-Jason Reveal, and he has all this shit planned, he hasn’t done any of his Dramatic Ideas™️ yet, but Jason “theater kid” Todd hears that his grandparents have come back from the dead, and goes “oh fuck, this would be SO fucking funny” and just. Shows up. Acts like whatever brought them back also did it to him. Alfred answers the door and he’s just like “guess it runs in the family :)”
Bruce et al. are thrilled, if a bit confused as to why he’s so Big now, but they figure whatever, it’s fine, Jason’s BACK
Martha and Thomas, though, IMMEDIATELY know something is up. But they Know in a sort of “I’ve been dead before” way so when they question him they do it out of earshot of everyone else, with an excuse about wanting to get to know their grandson. Jason, knowing he won’t be able to fool them (he’s honestly shocked he’s gotten this far with Alfred), fucking folds immediately. Thing is, you cannot tell me those two had no mob connections. Idc what cannon does or does not say. I stand by the firm belief that organized crime is the funniest possible way for the Waynes to get their fortune, and that’s how a lot of my headcannons start.
ANYWAY, Thomas and Martha are, as a result, amusingly supportive of his crime lord career. To them, this is just a family member with a hobby that reflects their younger years.
So you have
• Bruce Wayne, the Batman, fighting crime
• Jason Todd, his son, Red Hood the prolific crime lord
And
• Thomas and Martha Wayne, Bruce’s parents, who went full mafia family and are very supportive of both careers
And then there’s Alfred, who is pretty sure Martha and Thomas aren’t the only undead members of his family “borrowing” firearms, but in all honesty he feels better about Jason having a gun on him considering what happened to him
#jason todd#batman#dc universe#red hood#dc comics#bruce wayne#martha wayne#thomas wayne#alfred pennyworth#Martha and Thomas Wayne as the weird mafia family parents of Red Hood#they love their crime-fighting son and crime-causing grandson#‘he kills people’ ‘okay but did they deserve it?’ ‘mother WHAT’#it’s definitely funnier the longer it goes on#and I’m not sure what would cause the reveal#but I feel like Talia dropping Damian off would definitely result in Something#maybe it’s just her casually saying hi to Jason as if they know each other#maybe it’s a case of the two already being like brothers in the League#but she absolutely accidentally fucks everything up for them#and Bruce has to deal with the fact that the crime lord who told him he was a paragon of child endangerment last week#lives in his house#and is his son#who he had endangered#on a personal level#via him being Robin#robin

Ok I just finished reading the Absolute Batman online and after reading that I got a bit of an idea on how Dick and Jason can be introduced to the story
So we know that the absolute universe is basically taking the most important thing to a character or switching places like the joker and Bruce cause he is obviously rich (cause who else can buy their own personal helicopter). So what if we switch Dick and Jason's places?
So we know that Bruce lives in crime ally with his mom (a universe where at least one parent of his is alive unbelievable) and friends, so what if one night when he's like a year or two into the batman thing he goes fighting whoever while a young boy no older then 10 stealing the motherfucking wheels of his motorcycle and what if it was in the same zoo that he's dad died so you know it goes as usual batman finds the tires missing, he full on belly laughs cus those were some high grade tires or something and now they gone, Jason goes to back to get the tires batsy sees him blah blah blah now suddenly he's got a kid and he absolutely has not idea how to raise him
Now if mama Martha is still alive after a year she's got some questions to say to her son cause why is there a random kid in their house?? Where are his parents?? Of course she's not mad she's just worried then Jason explains his entire situation and she's like ok you can stay her and all and now she helps Bruce raise her new grandson.
He also doesn't become Robin cus i don't think this batman wants a kid running around in gotham, instead he raises him as a normal kid to the best of his abilities and Jason's living his best life he's got a loving dad and grandma, a roof over his head, food, and he gets to go to school so like cool😃😃 and generally it's all fluff
Course I still want him to die and it's all the same except this time he's not Robin and instead of the joker killing him its members the court of owls and you know he dies Bruce was to late. But I want it to be more angst cus that was a boy not a hero or sidekick or anything it was a little boy who died in his father's arms hearing him cry out his name
Now on to Dick! He's backstory is the same but Bruce couldn't come to the circus so he wasn't adopted and after his parents death he became a talon turning him into the court's newst weapon (Dick hates the court of owls for what they've turned him into)(he just wanted to be the greatest acrobat in he world).
Now one day he was ordered to kill a young boy nearly the same age as him (he felt a shiver down his spine with how similar they look) cus he's dad was causing the court some trouble and they needed to get rid of him but they were going to mentally destroy him first and ok he can do that so he stalks the two for a few months waiting for the right moment to strike (seeing these two interact with each other makes him miss them, he wonders if they'd still love him for the things he's committed)
After sometime he's got the kid and the other talons are torturing him and he's off to the side watching this watching this bull headed, stubborn kid bite, kick, and scream at the members cause the kid wasn't gonna go down without a fight and saying that his dad is gonna beat their asses while being whipped and... he didn't really know how to feel about it cause it was fun seeing the kid fight back but he knew the outcome, he knew the kid ain't gonna live and his dad's not gonna be fast enough still he felt kinda bad seeing the man cry out his son's name (he remembers it so vividly his mom calling out his name as they plummeted to their deaths the horror in their eyes a look he can see in his nightmares)
And yeah that's all!! I still have an idea on how Dick become Bruce's Robin since Jason was his son not Robin but I'ma explain that in the next post ✌️ (also sorry about my english, still have a hard time forming understandable sentences)

Reading Fire and Blood: A Son for a Son
So this chapter contains contradictions that show Gyldayn's biased lies in the previous chapter. First, he claimed that Rhaenyra was loved in the past, when she was young, but now she was aged, married and not as pretty, so not many young men would follow her, only some old lords because of their oaths. Then in this chapter Daemon goes to Harrenhal and calls Riverlands to arms and common people literally flock to her cause, only Brackens and Vances of Atranta declare for Aegon, rest of the lords declares for Rhaenyra and Tullys are torn, because old lord Grover is for Aegon, but his grandson Elmo is for Rhaenyra (which is logical, because majority of his bannermen support her).
Second contradiction is Beesbury's death. In the previous chapter, Gyldayn presented 3 equally possible versions of events: Orwyle said Beesbury was imprisoned and died in his cell of chills, but both Eustace and Mushroom said that he was killed by Cole at the Green Council, though they present different ways of murder. Then in this chapter Gyldayn writes: "The murder of Lord Beesbury at the green council was not yet widely known; most believed his lordship to be languishing in some dungeon." So he confirms that Beesbury was killed at the Green Council and Orwyle was just full of bs. As I said, clearly Alicent told Septon Eustace, her confessor, about the crime. Orwyle just tried to make himself sound better after the war, because he couldn't say that he still supported the Greens after they murdered Beesbury in cold blood.
Sara Snow's existence is completely suspect. Mushroom is the only source and he wasn't there. Also, if Jace married her under the heart tree, then the Pact of Ice and Fire doesn't make a lick of sense, as he agrees in it to send his firstborn daughter to Winterfell to marry Cregan's son. If Jace is married to Sara, he can't marry Baela and have trueborn children with her, that's bigamy and nothing about Jace the Negotiator suggests that he's stupid enough to try to emulate Maegor. Jace's child with Sara would be a cousin to Cregan's son and wouldn't need to be sent to Winterfell. Also, Cregan can't logically expect Jace to marry Sara, who is a bastard, and make her his future queen. It would be a PR disaster in addition to Jace's own bastardy rumours. Therefore, unless there's further evidence of Sara from other sources, then either she was made up by Mushroom, or she didn't marry Jace.
Borros Baratheon seems like Rogar, except he's so much stupider. Rogar didn't underestimate Rhaena's political threat, he made decisive moves to counter her influence and turn her supporters to Jaehaerys' side. On the other hand, Borros talks like he thinks Rhaenyra is like his daughters and just throwing a tantrum over something insignificant. They are literally stealing her crown, it's a big deal! He doesn't treat her seriously at all, despite her being heir for years.
Then we have 19-years-old Aemond having beef with 13-years-old Lucerys in front of multiple eyewitnesses, and Lucerys acting like the mature one and not reacting to the taunts. Once again, Aemond is the bully. I love how Maris Baratheon dissed him. He needs to be dragged more.
I guess the maester didn't have to be a part of the maester conspiracy, maybe he didn't want Borros to negotiate with Blacks because he didn't want to piss off Aemond who was right there and had Vhagar with him. Aemond was in Storm's End for days, they had hunts and tourneys as he negotiated the marriage pact, so they all must have gotten to know his temper by then.
Notice how Aemond said "I will have your eye or your life"? He was literally threatening kinslaying right there in front of all these people and that's when Borros grew uneasy and told him "Not here". He couldn't allow violation of guest right.
Lucerys was killed in a dragon fight and the various rumours of how exactly (or the ridiculous amnesia story) are pointless to debate. Just pick your poison. The story about Aemond desecrating Lucerys' dead body is interesting if it leads somewhere with Aemond's characterization. I will watch out if he later develops a hobby of collecting body parts or eyeballs as trophies.
Corlys and Rhaenys stopping Joffrey from flying off to take vengeance felt really wholesome. They both care for Laenor's kids.
My favourite part of Blood and Cheese incident is the location. Helaena lives in queen's apartments in Maegor's Holdfast. There are no tunnels and secret passages there. That's why they have to catch her and the children when she visits Alicent in the Tower of the Hand, as there are secret passages in there. Simple as that.
Daemon has a secret ally on the Green Council. By the process of elimination, it couldn't be Otto, Alicent, Cole, Orwyle, Tyland or Wylde (he was too longwinded about the Great Council), so it has to be Larys Strong. The same Larys who made the Greens swear a blood oath of brotherhood to each other (to throw them off, so they won't suspect him?). Larys who couldn't make Blood confess anything about his accomplices Cheese and Misery or even tell his real name after 13 days of torture. In addition, Harrenhal surrendered very easily to Daemon. All of this looks like there is a connection between Larys and Daemon. Why would Larys work for or with Daemon? Could it be that it was really Daemon who burned Harwin and Lyonel, so Larys owed him a big one for gaining the lordship of Harrenhal? Then, if it was like I theorized, the order of events would be: Strongs have Laenor murdered by the hands of Qarl's debt collectors, so Harwin can marry Rhaenyra, but after the funeral Aemond's eye incident causes the rumours of bastardy to surface and Viserys sends the Strongs back to Harrenhal. Daemon burning the Strongs would get him 3 things: he gets rid of his main competition for Rhaenyra's hand, Corlys is happy that he avenged Laenor for him and doesn't oppose the new marriage so soon after Laena and Laenor died, Larys becomes the lord of Harrenhal and owes him. Who knows, maybe Larys even informed Daemon of the Strongs' plot and that's how this partnership started. Most importantly, this order of events would explain why Corlys didn't suspect Daemon of killing Laenor.
I also heard a theory that Larys was glamouring himself like Varys and he was really Cheese the Ratcatcher. That would have been fascinating, so messed up.
All in all, lots of good mysteries in this chapter and I love the Storm's End part because it's the most reliable account thanks to many eyewitnesses.

if his grandmother had been anyone else, lenora would probably have felt differently about the fate of the comatose woman. if jaehaerys wanted his grandmother to be with them, she would not have protested, even if having a dowager queen at court was not preferred by any queen. the reunion of family members was usually a happy occurrence, so she would have lived with it for his sake. but his grandmother was alicent hightower, and that changed everything. while she did feel some guilt for praying for the woman's death, what was the alternative? if alicent awoke from this deep slumber, she would only cause trouble for them. the reach would want to keep and hold her accountable for her crimes, and judging by the look on his face, jaehaerys would likely want her to return home with them, which would surely anger the reach and brew yet another conflict. she also doubted most subjects in their realm wanted to see alicent return. they had already made so many enemies. the only way for this to end peacefully would be with alicent passing in her sleep.
lenora's stomach churned at the thought of ending up as a meal for a dragon. the queen consorts who had gone before her had all suffered such terrible fates. it was awful that jaehaerys had believed his grandmother might have died that way. she understood better than most that not knowing was the worst, that it was easy to imagine the most gruesome scenarios when loved ones were lost. she had done the same when cerissa had been lost to them. but it seemed particularly cruel that the two of them had been in the same place, so close and yet so far. she pulled a chair to sit beside him. there was a concerned look in her eyes as she watched her husband's eyes transfixed on the old woman he thought lost forever. sometimes she felt that she could anticipate jaehaerys' whims and mannerisms, but alicent was an unknown complication, one she had no idea how would affect him.
“they always seem much bigger when we are children. i used to think my father stood so tall that he was a giant among men, but now i realise that he was tall, yes, but quite ordinary.” children believed their parents and grandparents to be invincible. one of the shocks of growing up was realising they were only people, flawed and mortal like everyone else. “our sons will soon think you are a giant as well, that you are invincible.” but in the case of jaehaerys, the two small boys would one day ask about his scars, and perhaps they would experience the shock of realising that their parents are not invulnerable to harm before she did.
the queen had wanted to ask if he would fight to be allowed to take her back should she live, but she already felt that jaehaerys had given her the answer. if he would have never allowed alicent to be in oldtown without him then, what would change now? it felt unlikely he'd let the reach take her back. and lenora already knew they would argue about it because she had to attempt to make him see sense. it was one of those times when she imagined the grandson in him was at odds with the crown upon his head. sometimes the right decision to make as king or queen was not the right decision for them as people. but she would allow him more time with his grandmother before starting to argue that alicent should not join them on the journey home unless it was in a casket.
“when did you last see her?”
Jaehaerys was allowed to sit in and see her. He didn't think it mattered. Jaehaerys wasn't going to take her limp body and run off to the Crownlands. He didn't know what he wanted to do with her just yet. Jaehaerys didn't know if it would be good to fight for her to come home and he didn't know if she would want to be there and to know she was where her only daughter died. Where her eldest son. And then he wondered of where she would be buried? He thought she should lie with the queens of times past and yet, he did not know. Jaehaerys knew he loved her. Jaehaerys loved her so much that the hatred he felt startled him as well.
"Did I know what?" The King turned and looked at her, the look was brief before his gaze went back to the body resting in the bed before him. He hadn't seen her since he was a boy preparing to fly off to war with his uncle and eventually his mother. He heard that the whore queen locked her away and let her go mad but she didn't look mad. Jaehaerys Targaryen thought himself familiar with madness. It was a Targaryen trait.
"If I knew she was alive I wouldn't have allowed her to be in Old town without me. I was in the Starry. Not the Hightower. I thought her dead. We thought the whore queen fed her to her dragon or burned or gave her to Daemon. The tales were awful, you see." He looked up at her and then looked back at his grandmother. "She's smaller than I remember." He feared she would die and he would never hear her voice and it would just be more screams to carry him to sleep.

The Story Of How Marinette Became Mamie Mars
Marinette had been in the Bahamas enjoying her vacation when she received the phone call. It was Bruce. Upon hearing her son’s, in everything but blood, voice, she had sat up on her lounge chair and swing her legs to the side.
Bruce couldn’t speak coherently. That’s how much he had worried her. It’s not often that she would get a call from a panicking Bruce, especially on her vacation.
Brucie, honey, calm down and speak clearly.” Her voice was sweet enough to calm her son down. “Is Alfred nearby you?” She asks, knowing that her son’s surrogate father would be close. Then again, Alfred was scheduled for his vacation soon.
“No, he’s tending the reason why I’m calling you. I may or may not have taken in a ward.” Bruce tells her, sounding off.
The words slowly register in her mind.
“I have a grandchild.” She squeals, so glad that she was sitting down instead of standing up. It’s already embarrassing that her squeal reached the others at the beach. Had she been standing, she would be dancing along with the squeal had she been standing up. “Oh Bruce, tell me about them? How are they adjusting?”
“That’s the problem, mom! I have no clue what to do. Can you come home? I rather explain all this to you in person rather than on the phone.” She can sense the longing and desperation in his voice. It warms her heart that he still needs her.
“Of course, I’ll be on the next flight out of here. Is there anything else that you want to talk about?”
Bruce murmurs a yes. And they go into a discussion more about business rather than the newest Wayne addition.
As Marinette books a plane ticket for the last flight of the night, she couldn’t help but think about her son’s ward. Never have Bruce expressed any thought about having children due to him being Batman. Though, she herself has thought about taking in another child. However, Marinette’s ability to have her body age slowly has been a blessing and a curse and keeps her from going through with it. It’s a blessing because she has a chance to look younger and experience more but it’s a curse as it means that she’ll live longer and see the people she cares about dying before her.
Nearly six hours after booking her flight, she is on a three-hour flight to New Jersey. Her vacation ended the second her butt touched the seat of the plane. It was a lovely time off from everything in Gotham, her ever-growing business dubbed Miracles Designs & Crafts, and her duties as the guardian of the Miraculous, but family always comes first.
“Alfred! It’s so good to see you again.” Marinette wraps her arms around the man. He returns the hug.
“I as well, Miss Marinette.” He responds once the embrace ends, taking her bags and loading them into the car. Marinette pouts; she could have done it herself, but she doesn’t say a word.
The drive was sweet as the two begins to catch up. Alfred enjoyed hearing about her adventures outside of the United States. Though, he fears what Bruce will say about her travel to Tibet.
“So, tell me Alfred, what are your thoughts on our son’s ward?” She inquires, looking out the window. The sky never changes in Gotham, but it certainly is a vast difference from the sunshine and clear skies that she was experiencing in the Bahamas.
“He’s determined.” Alfred states with a glance at her in the rear window. Marinette nods and continues to look out the window.
Meeting her grandchild could have gone many ways, but him winging on the chandelier was not something she was expecting. He seemed to be mourning, like him swinging on the chandelier was holding him together.
Bruce sends the boy a quick word then escorts her to the living room. The second the door closes, Bruce breaks down what happened. The boy’s name is Richard Grayson, but he likes to go by Dick. Of course, Marinette gasps upon hearing that, as she has never been around a person who calls themselves Dick. And that he was a part of the circus with his family until their demise. Dick has no family outside of the circus. There was also a chance that he’ll be the target for a mob boss.
After hearing the basics of Dick’s situation, all she wanted to do was hug the boy and give him lots of love. The same as she has done for Bruce.
“When can I officially meet my grandson?” She questions with a smile on his face. Bruce rubs the back of his neck and sends her a sheepish smile. Wrapping his arms around his surrogate mother, he guides her towards the double doors.
“Hi, I’m Marinette, but you can call me Mamie, if you want.”
Dick looks up at her, swaying in place, “Mamie?”
Marinette chuckles. “It’s one of the French versions of saying grandma.”
“Cool, but you don’t look like you’re old enough to be a grandma.” Behind them, Bruce fails at holding in a chuckle. Marinette purses her lip and keeps her eyes on Dick, even though she wanted to send her son a glare.
“Yeah, I do, but don’t be fooled. I practically raised Bruce since he was eight. Now, what do you like to do for fun?” She nudges him to talk about himself, hoping that it will help from sending him down a mourning spiral.
Bruce disappears after that, hunting down the person that sabotaged the tightrope and giving Dick his closure.
Once Dick is asleep, Marinette finds herself in the cave, watching her son’s nonstop researching process.
“You know spending time with Dick would really make him feel welcome.” Marinette pulls up a seat and sits beside him.
“I can’t. Zucco is out there, and if I can’t find him before he leaves Gotham…” Bruce trails off, turning his attention back to the screen.
Marinette shakes her head, “At least try and get to know Dick before you do something stupid. There’s only so much that I can do, but I wasn’t the one that took him in, Bruce.” Marinette turns to Alfred and gestures her head towards Bruce.
“I saw that, mom.” Marinette scoffs then gets out of her seat. “I promise that I’ll hang out with Dick before all this is over.”
“And somehow, that doesn’t make me feel that much better. He’s your problem now, Alfie.” Marinette takes her to leave, grabbing a cup of tea from Alfred before leaving the Batcave.
“Joy.” Alfred sighs, but there was an underlying hint of love there.
Life with Dick in the household was an interesting transition, especially for Marinette. Usually, when she's here, it’s silent, as Bruce is either working as Batman or being for Wayne Enterprise. The only sounds were her and Alfred talking during their afternoon tea sessions. With Dick, the manor is full of laughter and ambitious feet, running around; practically, Mimicking the sounds of the past.
With Marinette in the house, Dick didn’t feel so alone. Even though he didn’t have it in him to call Bruce dad yet, he'd definitely called Marinette Mamie on more than one occasion. When it first happened, she cried. Poor Dick, he thought she was upset or something. That day, she took them out for ice cream and to the gymnasium.
Marinette did not hide her disdain when Dick became Robin. There were a lot of baked goods in the kitchen from her stress baking. It got so bad that Alfred had to ban her from the kitchen.
Of course, once she did become comfortable with the idea of Dick out crime-fighting, she places strict rules in place so that Dick wasn’t out late at night on a school day or dealing with highly classed villains. Marinette had her fair share of fighting crime as a child, and she did not want to place that down on Dick.
On top of that, she refused to have Dick going out at night in underwear in the name of pants. That was a big no-no in this household.
Bonus:
“Mamie Mars, has there ever been a time you benched Bruce?” Dick asks one day while Marinette was helping him with his homework.
Marinette thinks for a moment. “Yes, it was within his first year of being Batman, actually. He challenged me and you know how I am when challenge, Dickie. Gotham was without their hero, excuse me, vigilante for about a month. Ladybird sure had a fun time in his stead.” She chuckles at the memory, causing Dick’s eyes to widen. He quickly finishes the rest of his homework.

Rambling about Fairies - I’m jumping around for a bit just let me talk

So I think it’s pretty clear from this scene (and the choice of the voice actor) that Faust is Edolas Makarov. But one of the biggest qualms people have with the Edolas arc is the wasted opportunity of the other counterparts, and the fact that we pointedly never see an Edolas Gildarts or Laxus.
So, to get it out of the way-- I honestly think Edolas Gildarts is the guild master that’s dead. Simply because his whole thing is that he’s always out on a mission, so it makes sense that he’d be the guild master, a role that never takes missions and thus is always home. But what stays the same is that he was most likely the strongest, was very respected, and ended up being absent for important events nearly costing the world (like GMG and Tartaros. But here he’s not in the story cause he’s dead.)
As for an Edolas Laxus. Since Faust’s son is Mystogan instead (and thus Faust literally doesn’t have a grandson), I believe Faust is meant to be all the Dreyar family at once. The reasoning for this is less of they have a contrast or anything, but that Makarov himself is already naturally a moral juxtaposition of Fantasia arc Laxus. That’s why, because Laxus and Ivan don’t exist in this world, Faust himself plays every role that Laxus did, and in the end, Mystogan plays the role of the humble King that, despite the crimes, forgives him.
(As for Ivan similarities, I think that his power-hungry tyranny is pretty much everything Ivan is. But, unlike Ivan, he immediately disowns Mystogan as his son simply because he’d turned against him. Ivan tried to push the family agenda to the end.)
Parallels to Laxus and the BOFT arc: 1. The conflict of Edolas is a time-limit-based struggle that comes at the risk of the citizens of Magnolia. 2. The final efforts are solved by all of (Edo) Fairy Tail coming together in one heart to face their enemies. 3. Faust is revealed to have a dragon-based hidden weapon, and then he is defeated by all our available Dragon Slayers coming together and fighting in unison.
4. More of all, only Faust is banished, while his underlings are let off with a warning. Faust accepts this humbly, with no complaints even though his underlings have plenty. 5. And most of all, Mystogan sends him off with the Fairy Tail hand symbol, despite the fact that he kinda doesn’t deserve it.
6. And then Faust leaves on a journey of self-discovery.
I guess the thing that Faust has that contrasts Laxus would be the fact that Laxus is a misguided child, while Faust is a man that grew deranged. Laxus wasn’t able to admit that he loved the people until Fairy Law just spat right back at him, while all Faust did was always very openly, very clearly, just for himself.
You could also say that this could be the reason Faust is the only one to not share his name with his Earthland counterpart. He’s a fusion.

🚨The Rise of Skywalker Detailed Review and Spoilers Ahead🚨
George Lucas: “If the boy and girl walk off into the sunset hand-in-hand in the last scene, it adds 10 million to the box office”
The “fairytale” we got: A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away, there was a curse of pain and death in a family that just went on and on. They were never able to break it and they all die, the end.
Well, you did it JJ, you little punk...you ruined 40 years of cinema. Kids are coming out of theatres crying, they can’t understand. I guess this was the “fun and hopeful ending” you were speaking of during the press tours. Are you on crack or something, or just sadistic....why would you promote it like that!? Did you forget Star Wars at its core is a story of hope, light, a fairytale in space for children? They did it...they united Reylo’s and Fanboys through hate.
JJ you do realize tragical romances are only tragically romantic if there was romantic buildup? Romeo and Juliet married in secret, Anidala did as well and flirted in the fields. How was this supposed to be satisfying? A five-second beginning, middle, and end. How this went through multiple execs is beyond me.... I would have understood if Reylo was Rian’s creation. BUT JJ LITERALLY was the one who told Rian to go forth with it...he created Reylo so you can’t say the last Jedi derailed things on that front. JJ wasn’t brave enough for his own vision. This movie was like “the crimes of Grindlewald”, a lot of stuff happening that made me feel nothing.
Okay, first things first. The OG trilogy was necessary, the prequels were necessary to set up that Vader did not start off bad. What was necessary about the sequels? They just dismantled everything the Skywalker family worked for. Why did we have to see ALL of our favorite characters die? Was the aim that a villain can only be redeemed through death? How original. I’m convinced what they were planning for since force awakens was a journey from villain to hero...but instead we got this a 10min redemption resulting in death a la Vader. Why call Adam Driver’s character a “Disney Prince”?When did Happy endings become so controversial? We go to the movies to feel hope, to escape reality...George Lucas understood that. JJ’s trilogy is uninspired, bland and contributes nothing to the saga. JJ went as far as to recon his own “The Force Awakens”.It had the chance to define generations but no. Literal and utter garbage. Rian made some odd choices but he was bold, unafraid and had the vision. HE knew emotion was at the heart of Star Wars.
WHERE DID THE SKYWALKERS RISE? MORE LIKE RISE OF PALPATINE, HE BLOODY WON
BUT my problem is not with the ending, it’s the bloody entire movie. This movie made me realize that it's not Reylo that I am a fan of, it was Ben, Leia, Han, Ani, Padme, and all those other characters. I’m upset because this movie is not my Star Wars: of family, love and above all else hope. This is just a 2.5-hour video game with no emotions. This trilogy was all angst with NO payoff.
Okay, you will never ever convince me Palpatine was planned the whole time. This whole movie was retcon for the Last Jedi that pissed off the fanboys. Lucas films did not have an outline for the three films and Rian derailed whatever they wanted to do....except they didn’t even tell him what they wanted! This should be a cautionary tale of why you need to plan. Kylo ain’t bad, Snoke is gone....well pull out Palpatine I guess. This whole film is JJ’s mad scrambling. Alright, I will humor you, tell me how Palpatine came back when he fell down a shaft and exploded....not *boom boom because of force*. The force in this movie is not canon George Lucas force, it’s just an easy out whenever JJ wants one.
1. Opening Crawl: As soon as I saw this I knew all the leaks were true, I wanted to bolt from the theatre. When I saw them in August I laughed cause it was so ridiculous it couldn’t be true. How could Disney let a whole movie leak? The plot seemed like a bad fan-fiction. Actually, fanfics are way more true to lore. Anyway, so Palpatine “announces” that he’s back. Is this the shrewd Chancellor Palpatine we know? Certainly, not...why in the world would he announce it rather than keep on the DL and just attack. Yo Palps ain’t this dumb why would you let them (the resistance) prepare?? Because of plot...well okay.
2. Did Last Jedi even happen: this film is the sequel to the force awakens, like TLJ never happened...except it’s acting like there was some movie in between that JJ made. Okay, so why is Kylo trying to run Rey over with his tie fighter...he doesn’t really want to kill her. It’s just meaningless action shots. And don’t get me started on exposition, the dialogue: “hey look its the Knights of Ren”. Except they do nothing. Cool cool. Kylo’s character goes back to Force awakens era like no development had occurred...except he’s not even there he’s just messing around not even being a real villain. JJ’s specialty is set-up and he does this beautifully....but he can not wrap up and follow through.
3. Rose Tico: yup last Jedi never happened, she has nothing to do. She and Finn are irrelevant. Finn has reverted to being obsessed with Rey. Cool Cool. I honestly feel so bad for the lovely Kelly Marie Tran. How did you relegate a relatively big character into the sidelines?? Why introduce two new characters this late. Rose could have filmed in for them...but alas we must snub Rian at every turn because that’s just how petty JJ Abrams is. ( don’t get me wrong Jannah was cool)
4. The Rise Of Poe Dameron: Finn has been relegated to a side character who does nothing and just yells “REY!”. It was a great setup, a stormtrooper who was force sensitive but doesn’t want his life to be fighting for nothing. You could have explored trauma, the discovery of the light but nope nada. Tell me the point of his character journey. So flat and static. And with Jannah and the ex stormtroopers they could have gone with the arc of these lost, sad kids coming together to find family.
5. Leia: Okay you’re telling me our Princess would give up on her son before he was born, just throw away her lightsaber and accept Ben’s fate? Cool alright. And she knew about Rey Palpatine and didn’t say anything...my princess would never.
6. Mary Sue Rey: Ahh Rey this girl feels no emotion in this movie...just like the audience. Sure she’s trained but she can just do stuff with the “force” that even Jedi masters can’t. Stopping a whole starship, something even Yoda could barely do...yup she can do it. Beat Kylo all the time except one, yup she can. Manipulate the force in mind-boggling ways, heal people...sure Luke couldn’t but Rey certainly can. Cause she is the chosen one...hell even Ani wasn’t this talented and he had years of training. Poe and Finn have a genuine connection, Rey just seems disjointed (totally understandable why)...but if so the ending is even worse. She doesn’t even find peace with her friends. She’s not realistic and human like Luke and Leia were.
Force sensitivity in the galaxy: What a perfect setup, the boy with the broom at the end of TLJ that was force sensitive. The message is that the power to use the force was spreading through the galaxy. No longer confined to the elite. People were hearing of Luke’s battle of Crate and rising.
7. Kylo/Ben: I still maintain that he, other than Ani was the most nuanced character in the whole saga. His arc from Force Awakens to Last Jedi had progressed. How great that even someone from the legendary line of skywalker and solo could fall to the dark again. He wasn’t flat, he was a tortured boy that was conflicted since the first movie. How great would it have been to see him as a conflicted supreme leader, which was set up in TLJ. But *gasps* a plot of his very own, no can do, this is the nature of JJ’s crush on Rey and Daisy.
Disney released comics that made us sympathize with him, to see that all along he was manipulated by Snoke, and Palpatine the voices in his head. Neglected by those who were supposed to love him. Adam Driver was cast perfectly, he had almost no lines that weren’t related to Rey’s charcater arc. If he were a woman I’m sure everyone would be offended. That single line’s delivery “Dad-”
Come on Poe had more lines than him, and Driver according to JJ was half of the protagonist. He was pitched an arc opposite that of Darth Vader that’s why he signed. Man JJ really did do everyone dirty.
8. Ben had no lines while redeemed other than “ow”...I am so sorry ADAM that this nasty ass JJ did this to you...this part was 100% improv by Adam, I am willing to bet my life on it. You know why “ow” was brilliant? Cause it meant he felt pain and emotion, he was no longer hiding behind the hardness of Kylo REN. Adam’s performance as Ben left me speechless, he was convincing as Kylo, intimidating...but as BEN he shines in the way only Solo’s can. The way his eyes become determined once he accepts he must give his life, and he does so happily for the love of his life. His soulmate. Star Wars and JJ never deserved the talent that is Adam Driver.
9. They are supposed to be equals in the force yet they missed the opportunity to fight Snoke together. Tell me how they are equals. He existed only to further Rey’s plotline.
Oh and the other Jedi including Anakin whisper and help Rey...when his own grandson has been asking for help in distress for like 30years. Nice real nice.
10. Finally Reylo: it felt unearned cause there was no buildup, JJ just threw it in for kicks forgetting all the P&P parallels he was shooting for. An afterthought. Driver and Ridley’s acting saved the day, they had no lines. Adam Driver is truly one of the finest actors. You could see the difference between Ben and Kylo in his subtle gestures...the sass was pure Han Solo.
11. And then the death: I wouldn’t even say we won, but at what cost. We won in no way. Had he died fighting I would have understood, but this death was so unnecessary and put in just for the fanboys. Let me say again I would have been okay with death had it been justified. How is this any different than Vader x Luke. JJ can only copy not create. How crazy that you can just bring people back from the dead...Anakin is here like, am I joke to you? I could have brought Padme back say what???? What was the point of his whole fall to the dark. The force is infinite, that’s the whole point...once you know how to use it you can’t run out of it like juice. Oh, and Ben did not become one with Rey but rather the Force according to the Disney website. So why pray tell did he not appear as a force ghost? I’m convinced JJ was on crack.
12. No Mourning BEN no acknowledgment: 5 seconds! And then she moves on from losing her soulmate, half of her soul. She loses it over Chewie but nothing, no emotion not even a second over her other half. Seriously? No one ever knows Ben came back...nada. JJ set up Reylo, time and time again he has said that he crafted the story around the romance. He was left scrambling after Last Jedi and this was a last-ditch shock ending. No Reylo theme song, no across the stars
13. Last Jedi told us you don’t have to come from a powerful family to be important. THE WHOLE thing was that you could be force-sensitive and be a nobody. Nobodies can become somebody. A Hero is not born but made. The force lives in all beings, not just powerful families. It inspired me, what a great message to young guys and gals. Kylo’s line, “you come from nothing, you are nothing...you have no place in this story” finally turns out true. You have to come from something to have a part in the Star Wars story. And Rey had darkness inside her cause she was human. Because none of us are pure, we are shades of grey. But no, it’s cause darkness only runs in families. In the Last Jedi when she wants to see her family all she sees is herself and a shadow (Ben) who joins with her. Please do explain this JJ. And if this granddaughter thing was set up I would have had no problem...but they pulled it from their asses. You can have nothing but mean something. But no pander to the fanboys. In the end, a Palpatine lived and all the skywalkers ended....and we are supposed to have hope. Palpatine really did win.
14. Rey’s biggest fear was ending up in the desert alone, we were told “the belonging she seeks is ahead not behind” and “there’s someone who could still come back”. They mentioned she felt just as alone with the resistance. Only the other half of her soul understood her. This is truly tragic and sad...I am so heartbroken for her. And don’t tell me she isn’t there to stay...the soundtrack is called “a new home”. Enjoy the rest of your days being exactly where you started Rey....but hey at least you got a droid boo. I’m convinced this is not the balance JJ envisioned in the first movie. At one point in TFA Rey looks up sees an old woman alone, scavenging in the desert. This rattles her to the core and it starts her journey of wanting a better, different life. I am so sorry Rey. Okay so you may say she has the resistance and her friends...but let’s consult the last Jedi. In the end when everyone is on the ship...Rey is surrounded by friends yet looks more alone than ever. No one but Ben, maybe Luke, Leia, and Han understood her pull to the dark.
How sad that these two hopeless souls who had never known a moment of belonging and true love, found it for all but a few seconds.
I will quote: “preventing female characters with strong, compelling narratives from experiencing love, intimacy, and affection is just as regressive as reducing them down to sexual accessories. Assumes that women must choose between a romantic interest and depth of character”
Men really can not write good female characters, can they? A woman really can’t be a badass and end up with the love of her life
15. The Skywalker’s and Redemption: How truly truly sad that Han and Leia gave their life for their son who also died at a young age. ALL the Skywalkers and Solo’s have a tragic end. This is not what George Lucas wanted. What a tragic way to end this saga...they weren't able to break the curse. AND to all those troubled kids out there that lashed out and made terrible mistakes in their youth....doesn’t matter what you do dying is the only way out. You could have exiled him, made him pay in other ways. Nothing can be done to make up for your sins but death, no amount of good means that you can come home. To the young boys that get wrapped up in terror organizations, sorry the only way you can be redeemed is death...don’t bother changing and coming back. They could have exiled him, had him start an academy with Rey for Jedi kids. He could have spent the rest of his days redeeming himself. Why tell us he was literally preyed upon, haunted, and manipulated as a child. Even in a fantasy world, a victim of mental illness and abuse can not catch a break. Ben as a child could not fall asleep due to the demon-like voices in his mind. Everyone abandoned him in his time of need. Ben never desired power like Anakin, he went over to the dark because “the voice” of his grandfather promised belonging. I am shocked that this is the message Disney sends us. Oh and yeah you can totally take on the Skywalker name for kicks...the disrespect I swear
16. The worst bit is that I am 90% sure there was another ending that was scrapped. There was a promo shot of Jannah in a field, soft lighting, lush planet. It was exactly like P&P. Daisy Ridley said the lasts scene was known to only Her, Jannah on that panel (Driver was away). Convinced Jannah was looking at Rey and Ben starting a new life away from the desert which she and Luke hate so much. Hence the production of “A New Home” soundtrack. Hence why the “Farewell” song played behind Reylo kiss was hopeful. Why Luke’s soundtrack when he became part of the force was not triumphant. Why the death scene was sudden and cut weird and no sorrow from Rey. CAUSE THEY SCRAPPED THE ORIGINAL ENDING LAST MINUTE. Everyone knows JJ was still editing one month before. The concept art which was supposed to be released this month has been pushed to March. Why you ask? They need to remove the pages with a happy ending. He just didn’t have the guts, pandered to everyone and yet no one. He was successful in creating a beautifully filmed action-filled movie with none of the heart of Star Wars.
And then she goes and buries Anakin’s saber on freaking TATOOINE. He HATES Sand and Luke wanted to get away from there as soon as possible. Of course, a Palpatine would torture them that way. But nostalgia is the cash cow so. JJ can only generate nostalgia, not create original stories. IF he had any creativity she would have buried it at Padme’s grave.

The fanboys say “leave the romance for the romance movies”....have you seen the original trilogy or the prequels? Star Wars has always had hope and romance entwined with it.
SO AFTER 40 YEARS...PALPATINE WINS...HIS BLOODLINE LIVES ON
...and people thought the prequels were bad
JJ you also said that your goal was for people to come out of the movie feeling more hopeful and happy then they went in...yet here I am. My roommate literally had to console me and buy me ice cream. I am just so numb. I am sure the casual fan will enjoy this, as seen from the rotten tomatoes ratings. I think the critics were too generous with this one,
Star Wars is very simple at its core, Good vs Bad and Dark vs Light. The kids are expected to understand that a Palpatine being the only one who lives is hopeful? That is the conclusion of three generations of Skywalker sacrifice...
This is how the Skywalkers are remembered...In Tragedy and Curse??

Gods I want to know about the NightDad au but I don't know what to ask.
It sounds amazing
❤❤❤
The questions in my head are
What's the ages? (like did Dick just turn 18 and he adopted an 11 or 13 year old)
Are the Titans in it?
Is Jason Robin or Flamebird?
And I suppose is Dick dating anyone (Dick what is that child doing there. I didn't sign up to be a parent)
And what is the theme (fluff/comedy/ect)
And if you have anything else to say ❤
Sorry if that's a lot in one place I'm still not to used to interacting/asks
(Oh this is perfect thank you so much!)
In this au their ages are adjusted so their canonical age gap is doubled putting Dick at 20/21 and Jason at 8/9 when the story starts. In this AU Dick meets Jason during a Blackgate system failure that causes a breakout. Jason, after living a few months on the streets after his mother’s death, had gone to Blackgate in hopes of finding his father. He kicks Duck in the shin and runs when Dick tires to help him, and a few days later Dick goes to Crime Ally with the Batmobile as bait. Jason hits him with the crowbar but Dick catches up with him, offers him help, and ends up adopting him.
The Titans are a big part of the story actually! It’s similar to how they were when Roy had Lian while still with the Titans. They babysit Jason from time to time and all generally love him, and Dick is always able to turn to them for help when he needs it.
Neither! Jason doesn’t become a hero until he’s a lot older than Dick had been (so about 15/16) and he takes on the name Nightingale (Betty is already Flamebird and Robin is not a mantle up for grabs so neither title was really an option and he wanted to match Dick).
Dick is not in a relationship when the story starts but he and Wally has been about to start a relationship. When Dick adopts Jason, they get stuck in this weird relationship where they’re not together because Dick doesn’t have time for a relationship right now much less a long distance one but they still don’t act like just friends anymore. Wally loves Jason to death though, and he outright tells Dick that when he’s ready and when Jason is ready to accept another adult in his life, he would still want to be with him and Dick having a kid doesn’t change the fact that he cares for him.
The story actually jumps between it all! It’s very fluffy in the sense that there is a lot of family fluff with Dick and Jason but there is angst and drama, and a lot of it is meant to be kind of grounded in a sort of reality of what bring a single parent with a full time job and a superhero nightlife would be like.
Only other big notes I can thing of are that at the start of the story Dick and Bruce are still fighting and aren’t in contact with each other, it had been Babs and Kate who called Dick for backup with Blackgate. Tarantula and Blockbuster do happen and it’s that whole situation that finally forces Dick to go back home to the manor because he knows he’s not in the condition to be caring for Jason alone (so Bruce finally gets to meet his grandson).
One last thing is that there will be story in this au not connected to the main story but also connected at the same time? In it Jason becomes Robin at fourteen and is killed only a few months later by Joker. It follows Dick and Wally grieving their son (after he and Babs kill Joker) and trying to find a way to move forward. Then one day they’re at the cemetery and notice the soil above Jason’s grave shift... after that it follows them trying to bring Jason back from his comatose state. The story ends with Dick waking up screaming and Bruce and Wally holding him. He blinks back into reality and learns he was hit with fear toxin and the entire story was the vision the toxin gave him and his Jason is perfectly safe and waiting for him to get better.

Batfam OC Headcanons
These headcanons are all about my superfamily, who I've dubbed the Shadefam. I have post dedicated to their basic info, here. I'm posting this for fun and to invite others to make their own super family or OC family with far too many headcanon and random chapters for a book that'll never be written.
BTW when I say S1, S2, or S3 I'm referring to the certain seasons in Young Justice
Buck- trans ftm taken in by Faith at age 12 because his father isn’t able to properly take care of him. (His dad loves and accepts him, but is very broke and wants what’s best for his son)
Hope is taken in by her sister at age 8 in 2013 when their mother died
Buck dates Bart for a period of time before they mutually agree to break up, both lowkey being attached to other teammates at the time (Jaime and Tim)
Faith is bi and doing fine
Grace is lesbian and freaking disaster
Hope is ace and valid
Buck is trans/gay and perfect
Cody is ace/aro and chillin with his homies
Faith and Grace had a fling for a few months but broke up mutually
Grace has a butch lesbian girlfriend named Joana
They always go to pride and their hero atls hang different pride flags the night before July 1st around the city
Hope lowkey grew up without really registering gender and doesn’t say hello to new people, but asks for their preferred pronouns
Bart’s the closest person to Buck in the Outsiders, being the only person that knows about his true powers as well as the few that knows his birth name
Goes to Bart or Garfield when he has a nightmare at the headquarters
Bruce payed for Buck’s top surgery after S2
Keith is the only straight person in the Shadows
Lily is pan and loves her frogs
Lily really likes frogs and has a small tank for them in her apartment
Hope has one frog gifted to her from her favorite aunt
Cody is the only person allowed to cook in the Manor
Cuddle piles when the enter family is together at their secret hideout
Cody is the only one that owns an actual house and they use the basement as their “hideout”
Lots of “Are the Straights Okay?” moments when the group is people watching during stakeouts
Grace being a flirt to everyone
Hope knowing every curse word at age 9 because her sister can’t shut up
Lots of scolding because of profanity
Faith smacking people upside the head
Cody is Buck’s go to when he’s feeling dysphoria when he’s with the fam
Family nights every friday cause none of them got the most normal lives (Faith lost her parents young as did Cody, Grace wasn’t accepted by her family and lost her parents before even turning 20, Hope only had her parents for 8 years, Lily never had a father and her mother is a thief, Buck lost his mother young and left his father before age 13, and Keith lived mostly alone with a constantly working father. Plus they’re all heroes so I mean none of them are remotely normal)
Cody entered the Shadefam after S3 and doesn’t know that he was previously working with Jason for a period of time
Very confused brother reunion when Cody and Jason meet again
The pair of them both worked for Ra’s a Ghul at the same time in the S3
Lily gives Buck a frog plush that he holds after nightmares at the headquarters
Faith does daily calls to her children
Faith was raised by Bruce, how could she not take in a small child that looks like a mini her
Faith being a mom to everyone, even her brother at times
Faith: “Cody… why are you not wearing any socks?”
Cody: “Why would I be wearing socks?”
Faith: “Because the floor is freezing! Now go put on some damn socks so you don’t get a cold!”
Cody: “But-”
Faith: “Do not try me Cody North Miers.”
Cody: “Damn… the middle name.”
Cody trying to keep Lily and Grace from getting killed on the field
Faith trying to keep Lily and Grace from getting killed off the field
Faith moves in with Keith after her amputation because he has a first floor apartment and she can’t do stairs yet
Keith finds out about MJ and Faith finds out about Hunter after he sneaks back in from a patrol before the accident
Grace and Lily are chaotic a hell, pushing themselves as far as they can during training and mission
They are the two that get hurt the most often
Though Faith always has the worst injuries cause she’s a mama bear that will leap in front of her children
Cody will get pretty severe ones as well when he jumps in front of Faith
Cody: “Why the fuck do you keep jumping in front of them?!”
Faith: “I am mama bear bitch!”
Cody: “Well stop being mama bear cause you’re going to get yourself killed one day.”
Faith: “I can’t die bitch!”
Cody and Faith being responsible adults and the most mature of the group, to being bickering siblings at each other's throats
It always ends up shocking the rest of the fam as well as the Team and the Batfam
Cody: “Can you grab me a pop?”
Faith: “The hell is a pop?”
Cody: “You know a Coke or Sprite.”
Faith: “You mean a soda?”
Cody: “Yeah a pop.”
Faith: “It’s soda!”
Cody: “Pop!”
Faith: “SODA!”
Cody: “POP!”
Halo: “Are they fighting over what to call a drink?”
Buck: “Yeah…”
The Shadefam is sort of a faction of the Batfam
Buck ships Bartuardo and got Hope to agree with him after she jumped ship from Bluepulse
Bruce is lowkey protective of Buck (he loves his grandson)
Buck is Alfred’s favorite of the Shadefam children
Cody and Faith are his favorites of the adults
Faith insists they eat dinner at the table together before leaving early to go invent
Grace and Faith have coffee addictions
Hope is not allowed near caffeine, neither is Buck
Lily shows up at Grace’s and Faith’s separate apartments randomly
Faith was the shoulder Lily cried in after Jason death
Bruce accidentally introduced Buck as his grandson to a board of people when he stopped by Wayne Enterprise
Bruce: “This is Buck, my grandson. He’ll be sitting in today because his mother is busy.”
The news outlets had a field day trying to figure out which Wayne kid was his parents and the person that they knocked up or got knocked up by. Many settled on Faith getting knocked up by some random guy before realizing the math didn’t work.
One outlet found out that Buck was born female and called him a “she” in their coverage of it.
Bruce lost it.
Bruce: “I read your coverage of my grandson. I would like to kindly ask you to pull that story.”
Reporter: “But Wayne sir.”
Bruce: “You misgendered my grandson. So either print an apology or I will be suing.”
Bruce does not stand for misgendering
Keith and Faith child’s godmothers are Grace and Joana
Hope and Buck are practically their child’s older siblings
Lily is the child’s favorite auntie
Keith leaves after their child’s birth
Keith: “Someone needs to be here in case something happens to you.”
Faith: “Nothing’s going to happen to me, Love.”
Keith: “Can you guarantee that?”
Faith: “...”
Keith: “That’s what I thought.”
Faith: “I’m not leaving.”
Keith: “I know. And I don’t blame you. You were built for the hero’s life. I wasn’t.”
Faith: “I swear I’ll be careful. For you and for them.”
Both Hope and Buck move to the Outsiders and later Buck leads the Team, leaving the Shadows.
Faith: “The Team? Buck that’s great!”
Buck: “I thought you’d be a bit more… I don’t know feeling the mode about this.”
Faith: “Why? Cause my little hodgepodge of a team is losing a member?”
Buck: “Well yeah.”
Faith: “Buck. The Shadows were just a covert team for the East. Plus it’s not like I’m really losing you. You are my son after all.”
Buck: “I know. And I’ll never forget that… Mom.”
Lily moved in with Jason and the two of them focused more on Gotham, Lily becoming a true Bat.
Lily: “So I guess I’m a Bat now.”
Faith: “Yup.”
Lily: “No longer a Shade.”
Faith: “The Shades were created by a Bat and consisted of like four current Bat members. The Shades are like a stepping stone.”
Lily: “I guess. I’m still gonna miss family nights.”
Faith: “The Shadows might be decreasing in numbers, but that doesn’t mean we’re ending Shade family nights. Bring along Jason, I’m sure he’ll have a ton of fun.”
Lily: “Yeah surrounded by youngins! He’ll be ecstatic!”
Faith: “Well he does need to prepare.”
Lily: “How the fuck did you know!”
Faith: “Wait, what!”
And that’s how Faith learned Lily was pregnant
Grace leaves the hero world once she and Joana get married and she becomes a criminal prosecutor, sealing the fate of the Shadows
Faith: “So you’re giving it up then?”
Grace: “The hero's life is great and every Faith, but.”
Faith: “I know. It’s a lot.”
Grace: “I mean I never wanted to be a hero, I just wanted to put the bad guys away. That’s what I’m doing now. Plus Joana always frets over me after a mission, even if nothing bad happened.”
Faith: “That’s pretty reasonable. Keith tends to exaggerate the smallest cuts.”
Grace: “So you’re not upset that you’re losing another member?”
Faith: “The Shadows were just a covert team for smaller crimes. I always have my back up with the League.”
Grace: “So the Shadows are done now?”
Faith: “For the time being.”
Cody never left the team, but with only two members it became more of a partnership. They continued to work together, with them assisting the League, Team, and Bats whenever they were needed
Even after the team breaks up, they all gather up once a month and hang out for board games, movies, or a patrol around the city for old times sake.
The older members (Faith, Grace, and Keith) do a lot of reminiscing while the “kids” (Buck, Lily, and Hope) just goan and roll their eyes as Cody listens to the tales of his sister and her friends
Lily and Jason never planned on having any biological children, but they did plan on taking in a street kid. They ended up with one biological child and one street kid
Cody becomes the next Bruce Wayne, training and taking in kids that need a good home
Grace and Joana have three kids, two of which have Grace’s abilities
The entire Shade family is always invited to Bat family reunions. Damian was very confused by the massive amount of people that showed up after Bruce told him he only had a “few” siblings.
Damian: “Eight is not a few Father.”
Bruce: “You have seven siblings Damian. Buck is your nephew.”
Damian: “He’s nearly 16 years older than me.”
Bruce: “Yes but he’s Faith’s son.”
Damian: “Reigns is only seven years younger than Miers.”
Bruce: “He still calls her mom correct?”
Damian: “Yes.”
Bruce: “And he calls me Grandpa?”
Damian: “Yes.”
Bruce: “Then he is your nephew.”
Damian: “But Kyle also calls her mom.”
Bruce: “Your sister does it as a joke to annoy your oldest sister.”
Damian: “Kyle is the only blood sibling I have here. Why must I consider the rest of these people siblings?”
Bruce: “Because they are.”
Damian: “Well… seven is still not a small amount of people.”
Bruce: “With the amount of people here, seven is a few.”
Cody is a light sleeper, waking at the slightest sounds
Grace sleeps like the dead, freezing water and banging pots are the only thing that wake her
Keith can sleep through stuff if he’s in a deep sleep, but also wakes to small shifts in the bed when Faith has a nightmare
Faith is another light sleeper, though not as light as her brother
Lily can and will sleep through anything that doesn’t sound threatening, aka wakes only to gunshots and the scrapping of a blade in its sheath
Buck is a deep sleeper, though often wakes to nightmares
Hope sleeps a lot like her sister, though she’s easier to wake up
When Cody wakes up, he’s up. If he’s woken up, a perimeter check is needed before he goes to sleep. If he wakes up on his own, he still does a perimeter check before going about his day
Grace doesn’t fully wake up until she’s had her eggs and instant caramel coffee
Keith rises with the sun full of energy after seeing Faith sleeping beside him
Faith wakes up tired and a little sluggish, needing black coffee to really wake up in the morning
Lily lives in a permanent state of sluggishness during daylight hours, she draws her power through the moon
Buck is always a bit tired, with usual bursts of random energy
Hope wakes with the sun cause she herself is a ray of sun
Faith & Keith child
Valarie (biological)
Cody’s children
Westly (adopted)
Conner (adopted)
Grace & Joana’ children
Derek (Grace’s biological)
Sophie (Grace’s biological)
Adrian (adopted)
Jason & Lily’s children
Charlie (street kid)
Jaden (biological)
Faith, Hope, and Grace are called the holy trinity as a joke
How Lily and Jason act
PDA constantly, it’s not huge things but it’s very clear that they are together
Nightmare comfort
Got together after Jason came back from the dead, working together as Red Hood and Scarlet Falcon
Were rivals of sorts before his death when Lily was still Misfortune. They fought a lot as Robin and Misfortune, though Faith refuses to let Jason take her in
Lily runs cold so she often wears Jason’s jacket
Faith gave both Lily and Jason the “if you hurt my sibling” lecture. Jason was terrified by it, while Lily shrugged it off
Faith: “You hurt my baby brother, I will hurt you tenfold. I will get a crowbar.”
Lily: “Reasonable.”
Faith: “If you hurt my baby sister, I will hurt you tenfold. I will get a crowbar.”
Jason: “Okay ma’am.”
Buck isn’t a meta but cursed
Hope gets killed in 2023 during the first mission that the team gets together after 2020
Shadefam split by 2020, with Keith, Hope, & Buck leaving in 2018, Grace leaving in 2019, and Lily leaving in 2020 with Faith moving from High Hills in 2019
Keith and Faith move after S3 in 2019 to Star City to man the Wayne Enterprise in the West and raise Valerie in a less crime-ridden area
Cody takes over protecting High Hills, taking on two wards
Grace and Joana move to a smaller town outside of New York so Grace couldn’t be dragged back into the Life
Lily lives with Jason in Gotham
Cody was almost taken by the Court of Owls to become a Talon (their mother’s death was a result of the Court) saved by the League of Shadows instead
Valerie
Metahuman with the True Sight ability
Born 2018
Year younger than Damian
Joins the Team as Seer
Connor
Eldest of the Shade children
Born 2014

When People Call Faith “Mom”
Cody, Grace, Dick, and Jason call her Mom as a joke or when she’s being to much of a mama bear
Grace: “Alright. Alright Mom. We’ll stop.”
Faith: “Don’t call me Mom Grace.”
Dick: “Alright… Mama Bear.”
Faith: “I will kill you Dick.”
Jason: “Oh don’t kill him Mum, he’s a good big brother.”
Faith: “-Jay.”
Cody: “Relax Mother. They’re just playing with you.”
Faith: “CODY!”
Lily does it as a joke most of the time, though often accidentally does it
Lily: “Jeez let up Faith I’m fine.”
Faith: “Fine? Lily, you nearly bled out an hour ago.”
Lily: “Yeah an hour a ago.”
Faith: “Sit the fuck back down you asshole.”
Lily: “Okay.”
Faith: “What were you thinking Lily? You could have been killed. You could have gotten Buck killed.”
Lily: “You quoting Lion King now?”
Faith: “Lily.”
Lily: “Sorry.”
Faith: “What were you planning, Lily? What if we couldn’t have gotten to you in time? What if Buck was in your place? What if we lost you?”
Lily: “I’m- I’m sorry Mom.”
Faith: “I know you- Did you just call me Mom?”
Lily: “Aaaa- no?”
Hope never means to call Faith Mom, but it does just kind of happen
Faith: “Time to get up, Hope. You got school in thirty minutes.”
Hope: “Mmmm.”
Faith: “Come on Hope.”
Hope: “I don’t wanna go Mom.”
Faith: “It’s only for seven hours, Hope.”
Hope: “Mmm. Fine.”
Faith: “Good. Be ready in ten please.”
Hope: “Alright M- Faith. I meant Faith… not Mom.”
Buck calls her Mom the most (besides her own daughter)
Faith: “Have fun sweety.”
Buck: “I will Mom.”
Faith: “You know I’m not old enough to be your mother.”
Buck: “I know Mom. And you know I don’t care.”
faith: “And neither do I in all honesty.”
Tim accidentally called her mom once, which her reflect response was “I’m too young to be your mother”
Faith: “Tim? What are you still doing up?”
Tim: “Working.”
Faith: “For how long?”
Tim: “... I’m on hour… 56?”
Faith: “Go to bed Tim.”
Tim: “But I just need 10 more hours to finish.”
Faith: “Nope. You’re going to bed.”
Tim: “Hey! Put me down!”
Faith: “No. Tim you are a growing boy who needs to sleep.”
Tim: “But I have to-”
Faith: “Sleep! You have to sleep.”
Tim: “Put me down Faith.”
Faith: “Alright.”
Tim: “No I’m not going to bed.”
Faith: “Yes. Yes, you are.”
Tim: “I don’t need you to tuck me in Faith. I’m a grown man.”
Faith: “You’re a seventeen-year-old boy, not a grown man. Now go to bed.”
Tim: “Mmm. Fine. Good night Mom.”
Faith: “I’m too young to be your mother.”
Tim: “...”
Faith: “Good night Timmy.”
Damian also did it by accident once (Jason never let him live it down)
Faith: “I’m fine guys. Just a bit banged up.”
Jason: “Just a bit?”
Dick: “Faith you were held captive for nearly three weeks.”
Tim: “We stayed up endless nights to get you back.”
Lily: “We got to you to find you with a punctured lung and a broken arm.”
Faith: “Yes. But I’m fine now.”
Bruce: “You’re off patrol for the next three weeks and I’ll make sure you get a week off from work.”
Faith: “I don’t need that Bruce. I’ll be fine going back to work and I doubt three weeks probation is needed.”
Damian: “You nearly died Mother!”
Everyone: “Mother?”
Faith: “...”
Tim: “Did you just call Faith Mother?”
Dick: “Well it certainly wasn’t a joke.”
Jason: “I think the demon needs a mommy figure.”
Damian: “Shut up Todd!”
Jason: “Demon misses his mommy!”
Damian: “I said SHUT UP!”
Faith: “Enough! Both of you! Damian get off your brother! Jason stop teasing your brother.”
Damian: “...”
Faith: “Thank you. Now. Damian I’m fine. I’ve been through far worse.”
Lily: “No you haven’t.”
Faith: “You do remember that I got into a car accident where I lost my leg, right?”
Lily: “... Right.”
Faith: “Now I’m going to go watch a movie cause I’ve been stuck in a wooden chair for a few weeks and I have a strange urge to watch Ratatouille.”
And that's it for now. I might make another post about these guys, maybe I won't, depends if people like this.

For Day 3 of PadMay2021
How might I change Padmé’s story
The first thing is, Padmé would live, but I guess that goes without saying. It's a long one so please keep reading if you're so inclined. Also, I was just spitballing so I didn't give it as much thought. My challenge to myself was to basically keep a lot of the film elements but just have Padmé be there and I really wanted to do this prompt for today! Twitter thread posted as well.
I think what I would have done is kept those deleted scenes from Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith in, especially the ones showing the growing dissatisfaction with Chancellor Palpatine. Padmé would have been one of the leaders/founders of what would later become the Rebellion. We would see her more in the Senate, trying to limit Palpatine’s powers but ultimately failing. It is here that her faith in the Republic begins wavering. She goes to Mustafar to confront Anakin and confirm her suspicions about his Fall. Everything still plays out the same way, except she lives.
Now that Anakin has become Darth Vadar, Padmé knows that she and her babies are no longer safe near him. With the help of Bail and Brea Organa, she goes into hiding on Alderaan, faking her death and that of her unborn child(ren). Together, they along with Brea Organa, Mon Mothma and other Senators start sowing the seeds of rebellion. When the twins are old enough, Padmé comes out of hiding. She meets back up with Obi-Wan (whom she had kept in sporadic contact over the years for everyone’s safety) and everything from A New Hope pretty much plays out the same, except now in addition to Obi-Wan, Vadar now feels Padmé’s presence once more and begins questioning everything even before he realizes that Luke is his son.
Padmé encourages Leia to be part of the Rebellion and she herself becomes Mon Mothma’s second in command once she officially comes out of hiding. She is helping to organize relief efforts and encourage other planets and sectors to join the Rebellion. While Vadar still longs for Padmé, she in turn has moved on. It was heartbreaking but the only way she could survive. Everything in Empire Strikes Back happens the same. Padmé confirms to both Leia and Luke who their father really is. Vadar must choose between his family and the Empire.
Padmé truly believes in their cause and begins formulating what life looks like after the fighting is over, even though a big part of her is tired and wants to return to Naboo. She, along with Mon Mothma, begin the hard work of creating the New Republic. Everything in Return of the Jedi plays out the same, although Padmé is reluctant for Luke (or Leia) to be a Jedi. That fear of what happened with Anakin is always on the forefront of her mind. But she has raised her children to be kind, goodhearted people and doesn’t need to worry as much as she does. She was a popular, beloved senator and queen and inadvertently becomes the face of the Rebellion once she comes out of hiding. It was because of her and her story that other planets and sectors left the Empire and she is rewarded by becoming the New Republic Vice-Chancellor once the Battle of Jakku is finished and the New Republic is beginning.
Luke goes on his Jedi journey, as he did post-ROTJ and Leia continues her political career as she did post-ROTJ. She becomes the Senator from Naboo and finds herself constantly in her mother’s shadow, even after her own accolades. While she loves Padmé dearly, she has always wondered if she only got to be where she was because of Padmé. By the time of the sequel trilogy, Padmé is in her 80s has stepped away from politics entirely, living out her days on Naboo. She counsels Leia whenever her daughter needs it but is otherwise content to let her children live their lives as they see fit.
When Kylo Ren, her grandson, is revealed to have fallen under the influence of Snoke, her fears are brought back front and center. She tries to confront her grandson several times, to get him to see the light and to remind him that his grandfather eventually found his way back. But it is all in vain and he kills his father in a last-ditch effort to fall completely to the dark side. Padmé sees Anakin in her grandson, and it breaks her heart. But, she feels as though she hadn’t worked hard enough with Anakin and refuses to give up on her grandson.
Padmé uses all of her political connections to help Leia and the Resistance fight off the First Order. She works in the background to try and help her grandson but he is determined to go down that same path. IN MY VERSION, PALPATINE STAYS DEAD AND SNOKE IS A NEW CHARACTER ENTIRELY DOING HIS OWN THING.
After Kylo Ren kills Snoke, he becomes the new Supreme Leader, much to the dismay of his mother and grandmother. They realize that there is little they can do to save him from himself. For Leia, she feels like a failure of a mother. For Padmé, it is history repeating. Eventually the First Order is overwhelmed by the Resistance and they are forced to surrender/retreat. Kylo Ren is taken into custody where he has to answer for his crimes. Padmé gets one last chance to speak to her grandson and talks to him about Anakin, why she never stopped fighting or believing in diplomacy, her love for him but also her disappointment that he willingly chose the easy path. Leia also has a difficult conversation with him.
Her story ends where it began: in Naboo. While her fighting days are long behind her, her spirit lives on in her daughter and the others who were inspired by the both of them.

"You Murdered Your Wife!"
Christmas Week Review
(Episodes Commencing Tuesday 22nd December 2020 - Saturday 26th December 2020!)
Hello everyone! I'm sure it's been a hot minute since I last posed, I hope you all had a brilliant week and a brilliant Christmas! This blog post is going to be a little different, there's quite a bit I've missed recently due to working over the Christmas period and also seeing family. So instead of posting a post about an individual episode, I'm going cover the whole Christmas run up and reveal in this one post! I hope it'll give me the opportunity to catch up with you and enjoy our discussions revolving around recent events.
So firstly, I'm going to start with Honey's Community Christmas Dinner! After all her hard work of bringing everyone together and putting on a fabulous Christmas dinner for the community, disaster strikes when the fridge stops working, causing all the food to be all ruined! Only of course, Jay is there to save the day, it's clear he's been swooning over her for months now and what better way to win her over than to gather together some last minute prepared food and to add the icing on the top, announce to their neighbours how much of a wonderful woman she is! During the festivities everyone is dancing in the street, whilst other locals including Denise, Jack, Bernadette and Patrick eat and drink and be merry. Also I just want to mention how hilarious Kim was, arriving drunk and throwing up through out the day and eventually getting up for a boogie with the rest of the locals. The day ended on a high when Jay and Honey were left in the kitchen cleaning everything up, only things got a bit hot when Billy caught them kissing! (We all knew it was going to happen eventually!) Elsewhere, Tina had been released on bail after being charged with Ian's attempted murder, however when a brick is thrown through the Queen Vic window, warning Ian that things are not yet over, Ian comes to believe that Tina is not behind his attack, as Gray and Shirley both vouch for Tina being at home at the time when the brick was thrown! Also, Max proposes the idea to Linda of doing a runner and leaving together for New Zealand, he claims that he fully believed Linda attacked Ian and reveals that he got rid of the murder weapon, thinking he was doing it to save Linda! Only when Linda announces that she's not responsible for Ian's attack, he worries that if the police find out about the Lucy Beale Award, he could be sent down for a crime he didn't do!! He's convinced that Linda loves him as much as he loves her, he tries to persuade her, mentioning that Mick doesn't show her any form of love or intimacy anymore!
--
After witnessing Honey and Jay locking lips, Billy is clearly devastated, he feels betrayed that the boy he brought up as his own and his ex-wife have been intimate behind his back. He's completely and utterly heartbroken that they could've done this to him! They catch up with him and promise that their kiss never meant anything! Even though by the looks in their faces, deep down you can tell they both have feelings towards one another. They give their word to Billy that it was a terrible mistake and it'll never happen again, to which he responds that if it ever does, both Jay and Honey will be dead to him! I do doubt though however that Jay and Honey will struggle to be away from each other. In other parts of Walford, things are looking bad for Tina, after her conversation with Shirley, she's shocked when he sister offers her some money and proposes that she does a runner, this leaves Tina feeling shocked, admitting that if she ran it'll make her look guilty. But Shirley is convinced with the amount of evidence building against her, she may have no other option but to run, as she's scared for her sister. Devastated that her sister doesn't believe her, later Tina turns to her brother, Mick. Surprisingly, Mick apologises to his sister for speaking to her in such an awful way previously, he suggests that she doesn't run and that she faces it head on, and he promises to be by her side when she does. Can I just mention what an absolutely amazing scene that was between Mick and Linda! After Max being found in his flat, Mick reveals that he's already aware about his wife's infidelity. Only when Linda arrives, she begs Max to leave whilst she tries to talk to her husband. This scene was absolutely brilliant, amazing performances by Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright! After trying to explain to her husband about her actions, she pleads to him to fight for her, she is literally crying and pleading to him to show her that he cares for her, even in just the smallest way! But when Mick says that if Max makes her happy, he won't stand in her way, she can't seem to believe the words she's hearing and slaps her husband around the face, just to get a response, even taking it a step further by threatening to have an alcoholic drink! When she desperately asks him "Why won't you fight for me?!" - he simply replies with "I have no fight left!" - This is absolutely devastating for the couple, for a split moment when Mick got up from his seat, I thought he was going to let rip, fling a chair over the room or something - but there was simply nothing! After realising that her marriage isn't going to be fought for, Linda heads back to Max, when he reveals he has actually fallen in love with her, she admits that she still loves her husband but it looks as if their marriage could well and truly be over. Elsewhere, Ian tries his absolute best to apologise to his sons, his intention is to apologise to everyone he's wronged in an attempt for all the death threats to stop, starting with Peter and Bobby. After he makes an emotional, pleading speech to his sons, they invite him to attend the community event later in the evening, Ian is more than pleased and thankful to have been able to rekindle his relationship with his sons. During the event, everyone is gathered at the Square, watching a slideshow of neighbours and friends they've lost over the previous years, whilst a beautiful choir sings Silent Night. Images of our favourite characters including Peggy, Abi, Chantelle, Pauline, Pat, Dot and Ethel are shown to the community, everyone is reminiscing and sharing happy tears as they share memories of loved ones, even Phil and Karen attend as their loved one's images pop up. Only everyone is in pure shock, none more than Ian, when an image of him appears saying "R.I.P Ian Beale!" Honey states that no one put that image in the slideshow, suddenly Ian becomes aware of everyone around him and realises that the person who attacked him is close. I loved this moment when as the choir carried on singing, every single suspect, slowly looked over to Ian to see his reaction - Bobby, Ben, Kheerat, Suki, Peter, Phil - it is absolutely mesmerising, fantastic editing and camera work! Absolutely loved it!
--
And then we come to the banger, THE BIG ONE! The Christmas Day episode!! Wow, wow, wow! Another jam packed one right?! There are 3 or 4 main things I want to cover in this one! First one being the big return of Lucas Johnson and his daughter Chelsea!!! This has been such a long time coming and what an epic return it was!!! I do feel sorry for Denise however, as obviously her plans for a traditional Christmas did not go to plan. Even though she took Raymond to his church, she was left absolutely stunned and shook with fear as Lucas appeared (once again) as a supposed changed man!! But what shocked her Christmas Day even more was learning that her daughter, Chelsea, had been seeing him, spending time with him and had been doing so for a few months behind her Mother's back. This deeply saddened Denise, and it understandably made the whole family on edge as they heard the news about Lucas returning! Even Patrick took it upon himself to confront the murderer. We can absolutely see instantly that Lucas hasn't changed his ways, clasping his fist whilst being confronted by Patrick, and then also approaching Ruby as she walks along the Square, alone! I know it's way too early to say, but has Lucas already spotted his next victim?!
The next thing I want to mention is the Slater's - it looks as if it's a happy Christmas for the Slater family, even though Kat has her concerns that it could be Kush's last Christmas, they take full pleasure in enjoying presents, food and drinks! Even though Martin and Ruby plan to spend their first Christmas at home as a newly-married couple, they get dragged into spending their day with the Slater's. Before Ruby arrives at the household, Martin has already given out his presents and it turns out the one he gave to Stacey is a beautiful sparkling watch, as she's overwhelmed by the gift, we can see absolutely clearly that that gift wasn't in fact intended for her, however it's only later on after having drinks in the Vic with the family, poor Stacey gets completely the wrong end of the stick and kisses her ex-husband, informing him that she still feels the same way about him and they could work things out, only for him to sadly drop the bombshell that he accidentally mixed up the presents and in fact the watch was meant for Ruby and the keyring Ruby opened was for Stacey. However, the one thing that none of the Slaters are aware of, is that privately after buying herself a gorgeous new dress, Jean devastatingly finds a new lump. Does this mean that her cancer could've come back? What an absolutely heart-breaking thing to find out on Christmas!
Following the devastating blow between Mick and Linda on Christmas Eve, Mick decides that they shouldn't pretend anymore and have Ollie separately on Christmas Day. This clearly upsets Linda as Mick walks away with his son. Much to Shirley's surprise, Tina has invited Mick and his son over to Gray's for Christmas dinner, Shirley is absolutely over the moon when she sees her son and Grandson appear on the doorstep. When everyone is sat around at the table, Tina and Shirley voice their thanks to Gray as he carves the Christmas turkey. Tina happily passes a gift to Mick which is revealed to be a picture of him, Katy and Tina as kids - this seems to really spook Mick but he thanks his baby sister all the same, however Shirley can see that her son isn't looking right, she urges for them to inform her what's the problem. Only instead of informing her about Katy, Mick informs her about Linda having an affair with Max. Furious, Shirley takes it upon herself to confront her daughter-in-law and is stunned when Mick follows announcing that she doesn't mean anything to him anymore. These words look as if they really hurt Linda, to her, it seems that her marriage has completely come to an end, she turns to Max and mentions that she could consider going away with him to New Zealand.
Later on in the evening, after having altercations with Gray through-out the day, Tina decides to make it up to him and clear the dinner table and put all the cutlery away in the dishwasher, however in the most creepiest way, Gray informs her that she's put the cutlery in the wrong way, that the knives should in fact go blade-up! He watches her and it almost looks as if he's imagining doing to her what he did to Chantelle! I do fear for Tina, could she find out his secret and be his next victim?
And Oh my god!!! The big one, the big reveal we've been waiting for! Early on in the episode, we can see that Ian is still completely on edge of countless death threats, he looks out of the Queen Vic window and sees his brother, Ben, playing with his daughter Lexi. Ben notices and makes a gun motion with his fingers towards his brother. Instantly this plays on Ian's mind and eventually he confronts him in the middle of the Square, when suddenly the police turn up and it looks as if they're hear to collect Ben, however much to everyone's surprise, they're actually there for Peter after it's revealed his DNA was found. To Ian's surprise he asks his son "Why?" to which he responds with "I enjoyed watching you squirm!". Earlier in the episode Sharon announces to her new husband that she's going to visit Denny's grave, during their drive up to the cemetery, Ian is talking about nothing but himself and how Peter could betray him. She doesn't look a bit interested in her husband's rant and in forms him to go back to the pub. Ian does as he's told and whilst Sharon stands by her boy's gravestone, she makes a call to Phil. At first we have no idea why she's calling him, but eventually it all comes clear - when he eventually makes it to the cemetery, she informs him that she wants Ian dead today!!! WHAT DID I SAY FROM THE BEGINNING?! I KNEW SHARON WAS BEHIND IAN'S ATTACK!!! It turns out that for months they've been waiting on hearing Dennis's voicemail and it looks as if the blonde vixen is out for revenge and justice for her son! A flashback shows us that it was actually Phil who attacked Ian that night but before he could finish the job, he was interrupted by Peter spray-painting on the doors and made his escape. It looks as if Ben missed his Dad by seconds as he walks over Ian's motionless body and voices that he had it coming! It looks as if Phil and Sharon had been planning this for months possibly, however when she informs Phil to go back and finish the job today, when Phil gets to the pub he finds Ben standing over Ian with a baseball bat and he comes to realise that he can't go through with it. If Ian's blood gets on his hands, it'll come back to his family - annoying as Ian is, he can't kill a member of his family, especially when it's his son's brother. When Sharon comes home to see that Ian is still alive, she confronts Phil and is devastated when he announces that he wants out of their plan to kill Ian, he voices that she's grieving and needs professional help to come to terms with her grief. But instead, Sharon calls him a coward and informs him she'll do it herself. As everyone goes home and everyone is with their families, Sharon is seen in the Queen Vic kitchen, crushing small pills, she melts them with a blowtorch, places them into a Christmas Pudding and serves them to Ian! After all the suspects that were listed, I had a VERY big feeling that Sharon would be the one behind Ian's attack! As much as I'd love to know how she got hold of the voicemail from Denny, I am certainly looking forward to seeing when Ian realises it's his new wife who's trying to kill him! Another fantastic Christmas episode!
--
Finally coming to the final episode of this week, Boxing Day! Oh my goodness, this one had me on the edge of my seat and shaking!!! I'm sure you're all aware of what's got me shaking to the core!! That will be the thing I focus on last! Firstly, I'm going to focus on Sharon and Ian. After the previous day, Phil and Sharon bump into each other outside of the Vic, neither of them say a word to each other as they both have a silent knowledge of what's going on, it looks as if Phil is questioning her with his eyes, only his question is answered when Ian appears from the top bedroom window, shouting down to his wife. With the comfort of knowing that Sharon hasn't gone through with her plan, Phil walks way. Only little does he know that she's actually poisoning him! Later on in the episode, Sharon convinces Ian to show his face and step outside, even though he is reluctant to do so, and it just so happens that the first people he sees are his Mum and his son, Peter. Peter reveals to him that he's been released by police with no charges, leaving everyone completely by surprise. So that puts Peter out of the frame!
Meanwhile, after Denise's huge shock at seeing Lucas the previous day, she and Kim take Raymond to the park for a kick about for a bit of space. Innocently, Ruby approaches the little boy and compliments his Christmas jumper, but it seems as if recent events have spooked Denise, as she calls the little boy to stay close to her. As she walks away with the little boy, it looks as if Ruby is feeling an emotion that she's never felt before. Later on when she and Martin meet up at the Vic, he apologies for the way they spent their first Christmas. However, something even more interesting is on Ruby's mind, she questions her husband whether he has the feeling that something in his life is missing, but when he simply can't think of anything and announces he has everything he wants, she drops the bombshell that she wants them to have a child of their own.
So the last and big section I need to talk about involves Gray and all members of the Carter family! The first thing I'll mention is the brief scene between Linda and Mick, as it comes to dawn on them that their marriage is coming to an end, Linda reveals to her husband that they should discuss new arrangements when it comes to Ollie, when each of them get to see him etc. Deep down you can see it's visibly hurting both of them that it's come to this, but what else are they supposed to do? Mick won't talk and Linda truly believes that her husband has lost complete interest and doesn't want her anymore. As Linda leaves with Ollie, Mick feels like he needs someone, of course his first person to contact is Katy. When she eventually returns to the Square, once again she starts to manipulate Mick, trying to convince him that moving away would be the best thing for him, pointing out that his marriage to Linda is over, what is keeping him in Walford? The fact that he does actually still love his wife and his family and his little boy!! Meanwhile whilst all this is happening with Mick, Gray is reeling after Tina let it slip in front of his children that Chantelle was planning on leaving him. This has left him out for revenge on Tina! Even Mitch has started questioning whether what Tina has said is true, which is clearly going to rattle Gray's cage, he points the blame straight onto Tina for his children not wanting to see him, to which she repeatedly apologises for. However, he seems to think that she has completely crossed the line. When he bumps into the Detective who's working the case of the attack on Ian, he reveals that Peter has been released without charge and also the witness they gave wasn't reliable and that Tina's case probably won't make it to court. Gray goes back and completely twists his words and informs Tina that she has to leave the Square today as the evidence against her is building and building! To their absolute shock, both Shirley and Tina begin to panic, Mick hears the commotion and questions what's happening, as Gray reveals that the police could be coming for Tina at any moment and she needs to leave quick, he proposes that he leaves the Square with her. Taking Katy's advice, he seems to realise that this could be his way out of Walford! Shirley is in absolute tears as she comes to the realisation that both her sister and her son could be leaving so suddenly. As Mick hurries home to grab his belongings, Tina informs Gray that she'll forever be thankful to him and will find a way to repay him, as he begins to make plans in booking a plane flight for them. Before Tina goes to grab her belongings, Shirley stops to give her a late Christmas present - which I have a huge feeling could be VERY important - a golden chain with her name on, Tina is weepy as she thanks her sister and tells her she'll miss her. As Shirley bids her sister farewell, I have a devastating, horrible feeling that this may be the last time Shirley will see Tina alive?! Later on as Tina rushes to grab her last few items from the shop, she bumps into the Detective and states that the witness they have for her is a liar, however he drops the bombshell about her witness being unreliable and that Gray should've told her, it becomes clear to Tina that Gray has been lying to her. As she arrives back at the house, Gray is finishing packing her things, it appears to be just the two of them in the house. Everything comes crystal clear to Tina that Gray wants her out of his house and out of Walford - I thought this was such an epic, gripping scene! I was fearing for Tina the entire time!! She confronts him about his lies and even comes to the realisation that the way he's treated her is exactly the way he treated Chantelle. Gray is absolutely stunned to realise that she is on to him and she has come to know the truth about how his wife died, she threatens him that she's been watching him and she knows exactly the type of person he his! But as soon as she mentions Chantelle, about the way he treated her and abused her, you can see Gray getting angrier and angrier, denying all allegations that Tina is throwing at him! I did feel that Tina was so brave to stand up to him, but I am fearing that this could be the last time we see Tina alive? She says those very important words - "You killed her! You murdered your wife!" and you can see it clear as day that Gray knows he's going to have to get rid of her before she reveals his secret.
I have to be honest but this episode has fantastic performances from Toby-Alexander Smith and Luisa Bradshaw-White! Are you guys fearing for Tina as much as I am?! I do feel that the gold chain with Tina's name on is going to be very significant! Will Gray murder Tina, get rid of her body and convince Shirley that Tina has actually fled, without Mick and left her chain behind?! Who knows? Either way, I don't know how Tina is going to escape the wrath of Gray now she's aware of his secret. What do you guys think? Did you enjoy the Christmas episodes as much as I did? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thank you for reading, I apologise it's taken so long, but I hope you enjoy this post as much as I've enjoying writing! I'll be back tomorrow following tomorrow's episode - what will happen to Tina?! Love you all xXx

House of the Dragon s2e2
This episode was better than the first. It had just better flow and main storyline.
I liked everyone's reactions to the death of little Jaehaerys, but especially Helaena's and Otto's. A lot was done to deepen Helaena's characterization, to show how she sees the world in a different way. She feels deeply, but doesn't express it like others.
Otto's reaction was very on brand - he only thinks about it as part of his chess game, how to turn it into his advantage in the politics. Is he that unfeeling or does he genuinely believe he honours the dead by ensuring their death isn't in vain, but helps their family? Anyway, his approach is way too callous.
I love how Otto's efforts are doomed though, because the king he put on the throne wastes all sympathy garnered by the spectacle of grief they forced Alicent and Helaena to perform. Aegon is emotional, reckless and doesn't consult his decisions. What's worse - he has the power to dismiss Otto, the brains of this whole coup d'etat, and replace him with that idiot Criston Cole. Otto's reaction to this turn of events was so amusing. The man worked all those years to ensure his position as Hand by making his grandson a king, only the grandson is a fool who doesn't listen to him and takes it away. Ironic.
Otto: "Viserys was a great king. He let me do whatever I wanted, while he played with his model of Valyria. I miss him."
Rhaenyra finds herself in a similar position because Daemon's independent actions caused a serious blow to her reputation and sympathy she gained by her son's death. The scene of their argument was good, but I'm not sure why she thought this was about Daemon's ambition for the throne. The problem wasn't his loyalty, it was him being too liberal in the interpretation of her orders. He took foolish action without considering consequences for Rhaenyra and she took the blame.
Rhaenys' one knowing look at Daemon was truly priceless. Her scene with Corlys in bed was also very nice, it's good to see them together. She should have been queen.
Seasmoke is back, I guess Laenor died for real somewhere :(
I like how Rhaenyra dealt with Mysaria. She tried not to make an emotional decision. She puts thought into her actions as queen. At least she tries. I think not resolving her conflict with Daemon was a mistake caused by emotions running high. He is her main, experienced dragon riding fighter. Is letting him loose the best idea? What about the plan of Daemon and Rhaenys teaming up against Aemond?
I really liked Arryk vs Erryk fight. The symbolism of twins pointlessly fighting for these factions fighting over the throne, then the winner - Arryk - killing himself in despair of his crime while acknowledging Rhaenyra as the queen... but she didn't recognize which twin he was.

Songs of An Outlander Chapter 15 Three Kings
“What do you have to say?” King Louis asks after a moment of silence. “We have some decisions to make. Your soldiers,” turning to George, “ and your son,” turning to James, “ are causing chaos and misery in my Kingdom. But I need to know what you wish done?”
“It is your kingdom, as you have said. I have never given orders, nor will I condone such behavior. You may do with them as you will.” King George replies.
“I agree. He is my son. His ambitions are higher then my own. He wishes me restored but,” he turns to his cousin, King George, “I do not seek the throne of England. I have lived in Italy most of my life. The Pope and I are grand mates. I just wish a peaceful life. “ He turns back to Louis. “I ask to see him before you do as you wish to him.”
“You shall. “
“I would also like to meet the Fraser’s.”
“It will be done.”
“Cousin, are you serious about not seeking the throne?”
“I am.”
“Do you think the Pope will be wiling to sent Henry to Scotland as a cardinal? A good will gesture.”
“I cannot speak for His Excellency but I can ask.”
“Wonderful. With your younger son in Scotland, serving the church, and Charles under control, I believe I can bring you back to Scotland to live, if that be your desire?”
“I would be honored to return. I thank you. I just seek to live in peace.”
“Then you shall.”
“This went so much better then I ever imagined. You two will see your subjects, and your son, tomorrow, including The Duke of Sandringham, justice will be done. I will arrange a tea with the Fraser's. In the meantime, I have a secure carriage to transport you to Luxembourg Castle.”
When the two kings departed, he sent for his spy, Raymond. “Have the miscreants picked up, along with Duke of Sandringham, and Prince Charlie. Have them jailed at Luxembourg. Also send a note to the Fraser’s requesting their presence for tea.”
“It will be done.”
“The two Lieutenants were found at a local brothel, in the presence of another dead prostitute. The Duke of Sanderhiam as well as the Duke of Bourbon, are found with the Prince. They are all three arrested.
“My love, we have an invitation to join King Louis for tea. This evening.” Jamie tells her.
“How extraordinary.”
“Aye. I would prefer to leave Fergus here under the care and guard of Murtagh and Mary.”
“I agree.” They tell Brian and get dressed for tea.
“Laird and Master Fraser and Lady Beauchamp. Thank you for joining us.” Us, to their surprise, includes HRH's George of England and James of Scotland. They quickly bow and curtsy before them.
“It is an honor, sires.” Brian speaks for them all.
“Laird Fraser, I am also honored to meet you. Master James, I certainly see what all the fuss is about. Lady Beauchamp, you are a true beauty, isn't she James?” They are shocked to hear King George speak so to King James.
“That she is. James, you must keep a good eye on her.”
“Aye sire, I shall.”
“Come, let’s all have a seat.” King Louis invites. They do and King George turns to Brian.
“I was shocked to hear of two soldiers under my charge behaving in such a horrid manner. I apologize for the trouble they have caused your family. I promise it will not happen again.”
“Oui'. Speaking of, shall we start the entertainment part of todays gathering.” He rings a bell and Randall and Grey are brought in, battered and bloody. King George stands.
“How dare you commit such crimes under my name and service!”
Randall has the nerve to sneer. “They were but mere Scots and prostitutes.”
“Mere Scots like Laird and Master Fraser here. Ladies, whatever their employ, like Lady Beauchamp. You are disgusting.”
“I hear tell of some of the same activity, John and I engage in, being done within your court, sire.” He knows the man refers to the sodomy, but as the chaps involved are breaking no other laws.”
“They do not rape and murder under my name. As you have committed these crimes in King Louis’ kingdom, he will decide your punishment.”
“Please sire'. Mercy!” Grey was less proud and much more contrite then his lover.
“Did any of your victims beg for such. King Louis, you may do with them as you will.”
“Thank you King George. Take them away. They will be beheaded in the morrow.” He waves them away. They are dragged away, fighting. Next Prince Charlie and the gagged Duke of Sandringham are brought in. The jailers had heard enough of his boasting.
King James stands. “Son, did I ask you to do any of this?”
“Father, it is for you and God. He wishes to see a Catholic back on England’s throne.”
“You now speak for me and God. Such arrogance. Your grandfather lost his life in that persuade. I chose peace and you still wish war. The Stuart dynasty is over. I have accepted this. Found a home in Italy and now, thanks to my cousin, will be able to return to Scotland.”
Claire, sitting between Jamie and Brian, gasps softly at this. She is seeing history be changed in front of her eyes.
“How can you accept such an offer father?”
“I am a realist. I just want to return to my country in peace. I love you Charlie but you don't have my support in this. As for you, duke. We know you are playing both sides. Were you planning on killing my son once you had used him? As your crimes and treason were commited here in France, King Louis will decide your fate. Both of yours.” He turns his back as King Louis announces their sentence.
“You, Charles have the nerve to fight for a rebellion on my land. A rebellion not championed by your father. And you, a Duke, using your title and his naivety to make a profit off of war, it is not to go unpunished. I will have your heads.” They are also lead away.
“Now that the unpleasantness is passed, shall we dine.”
“Laird Fraser, I hear you have some charges over your head.” King George asks as the eat.
“Aye sire. My son and I both. We are neither the traitors we have been made out to be. I just wish to take my son, new grandson, and future daughter-in-law, back to Scotland. As King James seeks, we too just wish to live in peace.”
“Then you shall. I will have papers drawn up seeing to your full pardons. I just ask that you help my cousin with whatever he needs.”
“Aye, of course. Thank you your Highness.”
“Future daughter-in-law. Master James, why have you not yet made her your wife?” King James inquires.
“Well sire, there has been quite a lot happening.” They all laugh.
“King Louis, is there a priest about.”
“Oui'. I always have one in the castle.”
“Excellent. I think a wedding is just what isneeded. Let's see these two properly joined. We will sent for your son, Lady Beauchamp and any other family and friends.”
“We~ ah are not dressed for a wedding.” An overwhelmed Claire says.
“We can see to that.” King Louis answers. She looks to Jamie with a smile. Her prince had come.

Hugo, the main antagonist of Carey’s story, finally gets his time to shine! Bio under cut.
Age: 45 Occupation: Head of Empire City’s criminal underground (Essentially a mob boss really) Location: Empire City State Penitentiary
Personality: Assertive, cunning, unforgiving, and violent - that is how most people would describe Hugo, and they’re not wrong. But Hugo didn’t reach the top by being a dumb, angry brute; he’s far more intelligent than he lets on, and when not giving orders or dealing with his enemies, he’s rather soft spoken. He actually dislikes using his voice and had to force himself out of his childhood shyness that plagued him well into his teens. Despite his best efforts, his emotions sometimes do get the better of him and lead him into making some rash decisions. But make no mistake - Hugo is still a hardened criminal at the end of the day, and he has dealt out many violent ends to those who have crossed him. He’s no longer the pushover he was as a child. Skills: Hugo is a skilled leader, willing to take charge and do what needs to be done. He focuses on being efficient and practical, but is still very willing to take whatever measures necessary to put others in their place. His large size also grants him raw, brutal physical strength and while he moves slowly, he’s a dangerous opponent in a fight. He’s also skilled with firearms.
Backstory:
Raised by his harsh grandfather Heiko, Hugo was the middle child between his older brother, Yama, and their baby sister, Pema, Hugo has always found himself at the end of someone elses leash. His parents had tragically been murdered by a local loanshark shortly after Pema's birth. Despite his hardheadedness, Heiko wanted a future for his grandchildren, and moved the small family out west, to try and find a better life in Empire City over in Northamer. Hugo was only 7 when the move was made; Pema had just turned 2 and Yama was a boy of 14. Together, they sought out to find a new beginning in the promising land of Empire City.
Unfortunately, the big city wasn't all glitz and glam as advertised. The small family found themselves living in the slums, barely eking by even when Heiko landed a factory job. Yama was put to work as a delivery boy for a nearby company, and Hugo was made to watch over and care for Pema. All three children had to grow up quickly, but the most affected was Yama, who had grown irate and bitter towards Heiko for moving the family in such a hurry. Hugo grew quiet over the years, keeping his head low to avoid the tempers of both his grandfather and older brother, all while caring for young Pema.
When Hugo turned 12, he was made to work with Yama, while an ailing Heiko grew unable to work and stayed home with Pema. Hugo was valued for his obedient, reliable nature - but Yama's other co-workers quickly took to bullying the boy for his quiet nature. While it stung, Hugo didn't think much of it; Yama, on the other hand, was infuriated at how his little brother was being treated. Things unfortunately came to a head on a fateful night when the son of the company's owner accompanied the boys on a job. The heir of the company quickly took to bullying Hugo, and went so far as to begin kicking and beating on the boy while Yama was dropping off the delivery. When Yama returned and found his brother bloodied up from the encounter, he quickly retaliated and broke the heir's jaw in a skirmish. After collecting their pay and heading home, Heiko punished and berated Yama for his actions; Yama's job was the only thing keeping food on the table, and his recklessness and refusal to keep his head low is exactly what got his parents killed. A fight was about to break out between the two when there was a knock at the door. Pema rushed to answer, and a group of armed men made their way inside, dragging the young girl by her hair as they approached the others.
It turned out that the delivery company Yama and Hugo had been working for was a front for one of Empire City's big mafia families, the Guōs, and the boy Yama beat - Wei Guō - was the son of the head of that mafia, Chen Guō. Despite the skirmish that had almost gone down, Heiko didn't hesitate to throw himself at the feet of the mobsters, begging that his grandchildren be spared for his grandson's foolish behavior, and offered to take whatever punishment had been intended for the boy. His pleas fell on deaf ears. Heiko, Yama, Pema and Hugo were all brutally beaten, and all but Hugo and Pema were executed. Hugo was told he owed the family a great debt for sparing him and his sister - a debt he would work tirelessly to pay off if he wanted to ensure his sister's safety.
Working for the family, Hugo did a lot of work, taking orders from Wei and his friends and often having to push himself to the brink of exhaustion, much to Wei's amusement, as well as helping at the Guō household by cooking and cleaning. Because Wei was often off with his friends and causing trouble, Hugo often found himself working quietly around Chen, who took a liking to the mastiff because of his devotion and competence, especially compared to his own son who he often criticized as a "manchild". Hugo continued to work for the Guō family for 7 years, spending whatever downtime he had playing games of chess with Chen or otherwise keeping the aging head of the family company while Wei continued to shirk his responsibilities and often abuse his power. Hugo had become known for his intimidating presence and his strength, but was ultimately defined by his loyalty to the family. Eventually, Chen's health began to deteriorate and he passed away, leaving Wei to take his place.
Working in the family under Wei's rule was difficult; Chen's teachings had fallen upon deaf ears, as all Wei cared about was making money, flaunting it, doing drugs and sleeping around. He had no understandings of how the system worked, how to maintain hold on their territory, or how to keep his men in line. Fortunately for the family, Hugo had been paying attention, and did as much damage control behind the scenes as he could without alerting Wei. This went on for 5 years.
Pema was killed at the age of 19, after being taken hostage along with some of Wei's other men -- Wei openly mocked his enemies in response, and was utterly unaffected when his inaction lead to the the hostages being killed. Wei's men had been growing increasingly frustrated with Wei's poor leadership, and few took issue when Hugo, enraged, called Wei out on having single-handedly destroyed the family.
Wei was unimpressed and unmoved, and, tired of hearing Hugo rant at him, ordered his men to put the mastiff down -- only to find no one would follow his orders. Hugo had been the one running things for years now, while Wei wasted his time partying and ignoring his duties. In the end, no one stood between Wei and Hugo, and when the latter caved in Wei's skull, no one complained. Hugo was now officially recognized as the head of the family, and he was going to make some changes.
Hugo’s rise to power saw the Guō family steadily rise up in the ranks, and within the first few years under his charge, they killed and took the territories of 3 rival families. By the time Hugo was 30, Empire City was left with only 3 other major crime families. Hugo managed to negotiate an agreement between the factions, assigning territories as well as helping buy off or blackmail some of the city’s more powerful politicians and officers. After this, Hugo handed over control to the Guō family to a subordinate he’d been working closely with, and began “cleaning up” other aspects of the criminal underground, setting up rules and reigning in the previously chaotic and out-of-control rabble into something a little more structured, and far more profitable. He still maintained his status within the Guō family, and had the respect of the others.
Hugo knew he could never truly leave this life; he lost his parents to it, his grandfather, brother, and eventually his sister. He’d always felt the pull of this life since he was a boy, deep down knowing no matter where he went, or what he did, he’d always be pulled back in until the day he finally drowned in it. And so he came to the conclusion that if this is how it’s going to be, he’s going to take charge and maintain it until his dying breath. And so the next few years were spent doing just that - Hugo was recognized as the unofficial head of all the families, in charge of organized crime throughout the city. He had a penthouse within the city, a degree of immunity from the law, and power. The few who challenged Hugo rarely even made it past his men, and those who did met a violent end.
But just 6 years later something happened that would forever change Hugo’s life.
When a small, ragtag couple of nobodies looking to earn his favor picked up a 14yo orphaned girl who came from the Southern Baronies, nobody could have imagined the waves their actions would eventually send throughout Empire City. This little girl, a plucky pup named Carey Jess, realized the people who took her in were planning to betray her and present the fruits of their “labor” to some guy named “Hugo”, she got the drop on them instead and got away with the prize. This got a chuckle out of Hugo, and he continued to hear of this kids exploits, her skills as a pickpocket, her cunning and adventures. Eventually, he sent for her and got to meet her face to face.
Learning her story, and how much she embraced this life as a part of her, Hugo couldn’t help but slowly be endeared by the pup. He saw himself in her, and he took her in as a protege.
Over the next 6 years, Hugo grew to love Carey as a daughter. She was quirky, optimistic, and eager to please and was, for Hugo, a bright light in a rather bleak world. But business was business, and he couldn’t risk growing too soft. He was sure he wasn’t, but his men began to talk in whispers of how his adoration for Carey was clouding his judgement; Carey would be a poor choice to replace him, she was unfit for the gig. Some even believed she would betray Hugo given the chance.
When Carey had turned 20, Hugo decided it was time to put her to the test, to put an end to all the doubts and accusations abound. The target was Empire City’s biggest bank, a heist unlike any other. And Carey was on it. Hugo had gifted her a much-needed prosthetic as a sign of good faith. ... Faith that may have been misplaced. The heist was a calamity, with Carey at the center of it all. The last Hugo saw of her was the spaniel running away from the scene as the cops came and apprehended him, his immunity out the window for making such a brash move.
Now Hugo sits in prison, waiting for the day when he can exact his revenge on Carey...

Scary (ending it with a Narc):
I have lived with a narcissist my entire life. I was raised by one, and only through the benefit of the police, family court system (namely, restraining orders) and lots and lots of counseling, have I been able to survive, thrive and life my own life. That said watching Harry and Meghan, I can say that all Narcissists basically follow the same script, the same behaviors, and thus far, Markle has followed them all to a T.
We have seen the love bombing stage prior to marriage, shortly followed by the devaluing stage when she didn’t receive the adoration she felt entitled to, namely that she wasn’t as held in high esteem as Catherine, who will be queen someday, and now that the fact has finally hit her that she and Harry will NEVER be equals to his brother and wife, in fact actually losing status as time goes on, it appears she has now moved on to the discarding phase. It stuck out to me that through her entire scripted documentary, she referred to their married relationship in the past tense, all the way through. The thing with narcissists though is that they never go easy, and they never give up without a fight.
Narcissist Rage is a very real thing. Narcissists do not have the ability to feel empathy for others and they are never fully pleased/ satisfied. They are always looking for their next fix of Narcissistic Supply, much as an addict craves their next fix. This is why they can easily suck the personality and self esteem from their victims. They NEED this fix. They are truly emotional vampires. They derive all of their feelings of self worth off making their victim feel bad about them selves. It is air to them and their life force and what they live for: destroying others to keep themselves going. This is what makes them so completely dangerous.
When a Narc does not get their supply, what they want or what they need, they will fly into something called a Narcissistic Rage. This is not a normal anger where a person gets upset, gets over it and solves their problem. A Narc rage consumes them, it eats at the person, burning inside until it is the only thing they can focus on. The punishment for the perceived crime against a narc is always disproportionate and usually quite evil. They go way overboard out of justification that they were wronged and they have no bottom. Think of young Greta with her “how DARE you” admonishment, and multiply that by 1,000, with vengeful actions thrown in. That is a Narc in a Rage. The greater the embarrassment they feel, the greater the rage. Remember, to a Narcissist, how they feel they are perceived is everything. It’s always all about them, and the slightest perceived humiliation will set them off, right down to if they feel you have asked them a question in the wrong way. Even more so if this is done in the public eye.
Now I have been following this relationship since before the engagement, as many of you have, and know that many of you have experienced your own dealings with a narcissist in their lives, not all malignant, but at least to some extent. What I can tell you about a narc is the next step, after the love bombing and idealization, the subsequent devalue and discarding inevitably come, which we are seeing now, comes the end. But not before the very last, and WORST stage of a relationship with a Narcissist, the time when they know you will no longer be around for them to victimize, and that is the “Going Desperate” phase. This is truly the worst, where they will pull every last trick to suck every last bit of lifeforce out of you. Hauling you into court, smear campaigns, employing their flying monkeys to threaten, harass and intimidate you, playing the death card: ”I won’t be around long/ forever” “You’ll never be able to live without me”, “I won’t let you live without me” right into “I will make you wish you were not alive/ never born” And boy oh boy do they mean it! They will destroy property, stalk you, have others threaten you, have you tailed, post embarrassing photos/ videos, leak your innermost secrets, take (or try) your children, turn people against you. You name it and they will do it. No bottom is too low for these people. They will destroy you physically, emotionally and financially. ANY way they can, to hurt you as hard as they can.
This is what will be happening to Harry next. What worries me is that I’m not sure his family have a clue as to the dark monster that is coming for ALL of them. Because to a Narc, destroying you is never enough, they have to destroy everything you love, everything you stand for, your family friends, any relationship you have, right along with you. This includes children, especially children, if allowed to do so. They are nothing but a pawn to a narcissist, just another means of getting what they want, and the reasons they make such horrible parents, especially if it’s a Malignant Narc with Sociopathic tendencies, the most dangerous subgroup..
As an American I have always admired the queen as a role model, her commitment to her country, her duty, the pride in her nation and most of all her work ethic which she performs flawlessly thanks to her stiff upper lip, never complaining, never explaining. I don’t think she has ever encountered someone like Markle and i certainly hope she never does again in her remaining time with us here on earth. I have not always cared for her sons, particularly Charles and Andy, for various reasons, however she is a 93 year old Head of State who has always had the respect of the world, love her or hate her. She commands respect. I have never seen anyone dare disrespect her the way Meghan Markle has. When you think of the sheer gall, it is actually downright scary. The queen has been said to have met over a million people in her life, even despots and not one has dared disrespect her the way Markle has. I don’t think either she, nor her family have a clue as to what is about to hit them. She doesn’t seem to realize that yes, Meghan Markle has the absolute power to destroy everything she has worked her entire life to build....Harry obviously, but also her entire family, their lives, their children, the Crown. God only knows what ammunition her gullible grandson has given Markle during pillow talk when he naively believed she was ever on his side. A wide awakening is about to come to this family, and when she should be living her final years in peace happiness and pride, it’s going to devastate them all. This is not an “if” but a “when?”
I cannot stress just how bad it is truly going to be. She will use everything in her arsenal, everything she has heard them say, seen them do, all their secrets, anything and everything to hurt them and bring them down. Feeling embarrassed to a Narcissist is the gravest sin committed upon them. Right now, Markle is probably the most loathed woman in the world, and despite her own actions being the cause of her social demise, she faults them, the press and more importantly the royals. She is on a tear and since she is so disliked, has nothing and I mean nothing to lose, no friends, no family, no support, no loved ones. Possibly the most desperate Malignant Narc ever. She is now infamous and hated. She knows she has no future now, is a social pariah on the likes not seen since Casey Anthony, and it’s going to be a vile take down of those she feels have wronged her in her not being able to achieve her goals. Again, she has been at this a very long time, lazer focused and has NOTHING left to lose. For the UK’s sake, for the family's sake and mainly for the queen, William, his wife and children’s sake, and even Harry’s sake, I hope they realize just what they are headed for and I truly hope they can solve this problem before this happens. They are in grave danger as things stand now, and that is no exaggeration.
