Wilbur has decided already that he is not letting go of Tommy anytime soon.

"I'm not letting you go," Wilbur murmurs, and Tommy, tucked safely in his arms, hums happily and tries to nestle into his arms further, as if it's even possible. "You aren't busy this week, are you?"

That makes Tommy pull back a bit. Just enough to look Wilbur in the eye. "You're gonna hold me all week?"

Maybe, he thinks. But, he says, "no, no. Just - you should stay over at mine this week."

"You're staying for the week?" Tommy asks, stunned.

"I'm staying for the month, Toms."

"Oh," Tommy's arms tighten around him. A slow smile spreads over his face. "Oh. The whole month?" He asks again. "Like, all month?"

"Maybe even longer," Wilbur says, rocking a bit. "So are you busy?"

"No," Tommy says. He sounds giddy. "No, I - the tour is over for now. Maybe we'll add more dates, but -"

"Your tour," Wilbur says loudly, letting Tommy go suddenly. He nearly falls, but doesn't, because as quickly as Wilbur lets him go, he's back, cupping Tommy's cheeks and holding his face. "Oh, your tour. You were wonderful, Tommy. So brilliant. Like, I saw clips. You have to give me a recording. The full thing. I'm just - I'm so proud of you."

Tommy flushes, and he's sure Wilbur can feel it, but he smiles. "Thank you," his voice is muffled. Wilbur lets go, and Tommy tucks back into his arms like being away hurt. "I'm proud of you too, Wil. Listened to the songs anytime I missed you." He pauses. "I listened to them all the time."

"I'll sing for you live now," Wilbur promises. "You won't have to miss me anymore."

"Promise?"

"I promise, Tommy."

I'm jumping off a bridge. Their backstory is so tragic, I can't.

The fact that even Queenie being in the state she was, Kinger still found humanity in her, the fact that he risked his life knowing she could go crazy and attack him just so he could touch her one last time.

And the fact that Queenie allowed him to do it, the fact that she was able to keep control as a abstracted just so she could feel him. Because she loved him and he loved her back and both of them knew her fate, but in that moment, it was just them, their last moment together so both made it work.

This is such a powerful image I want to hug both of them.
