THIS IS SO TRUE, AND DO IMPORTANT!!! I cried so much at that kiss, not bc of the "confession" that it is, but bc it shows how desperate crowley was to get aziraphel to 6 was like his last desperate try to get him to understand, to listen, to stay, and it hurts so much bc there love is more than just touch, EVERY love is more than just touch, and it always showed in the way they talk, and look at each other. They don't need to touch each other to love each other, and i don't realy think they want to (asexuality does exist, and they love on a different level than we do)So for crowley to do this just hits this special part of my heart because he wanted azi to see, to understand and all that.

I realy hope that this makes sense, but it's kinda complicated to explain this when english isn't your first language :)

this should not be kept in the tags, it’s absolutely right on all counts and we should keep on saying it.

wanted to go off a little about the middle tags specifically: it’s fine to enjoy the kiss obviously, but it is important that it isn’t a joy in context. I was spoiled for the kiss before watching but I was still shocked when I actually saw it — because yes, I was expecting it to be sad, I knew it was going to be a painful ending, but no that blew my expectations out of the fucking water. it’s harsh, it’s abrupt, it’s desperate, their faces are practically shoving into each other and Crowley’s clinging to Aziraphale’s jacket, when they break apart you can feel that it really is a break, the music is swelling how it would in a tragedy (and they’ve had fairly romantic music, imo, with some of their scenes together before). And Crowley put his sunglasses back on.

all of that moment does everything it can to make itself utterly devastating. (it worked obviously I’m suffering.) it’s them doing this traditionally romantic and intimate act, but there’s so much miscommunication and misunderstanding, the door is closed between them and all it really feels like in the end is loss.
