#they just don't want to choose that choice

Do you think some parts of the world would have been unhappy in Aang's decision to spare Ozai? That people would be so bitter - this madman gets to live, while their friends and loved ones died? Why is that? Oh - because the Avatar didn't want to compromise his own morals, to kill someone? Tough, it's a war. People die.
The thing I don't like about the way the show frames it is that the narrative doesn't really give Aang a choice, either.
I think people who frame this as Aang respecting Air Nomad culture are trying to give the show too much credit, because the show doesn't act like Aang gets to choose a moral high ground, they act like he has no choice. Aang seems to believe that the only way he can honor his Air Nomad heritage is by not killing, and...what about all the Air Nomads who didn't have that luxury? What about Gyatso, who was faced with the choice of kill or die, and killed, and died?
I think a lot of people would see Aang's choice as a slap in the face. Every person who had to do things they considered against their personal morals to survive. People like Jet who sincerely wished to stop leading a violent life, but couldn't, because that life was chosen for him the moment his parents were murdered. People like Hakoda who felt deeply ashamed of having to leave his own children to go to war. Are these people just inherently less moral or more bloodthirsty than Aang? No, they simply didn't have the power Aang had at his disposal that allowed him to avoid the kind of violent lives that many people, children included, were forced to lead during the war.
That's also why the "Aang reminds Katara/Zuko that they are kids" thing annoys me. What Aang does is remind them that HE has the luxury of thinking of himself as a kid while they don't. The reason Katara hadn't been penguin sledding in so long isn't because she's a buzzkill who hates fun or she "forgot" that she's a kid, it's because she was forced into a role where she had to take care of her family in her mother's absence, and that doesn't go away with the introduction of another kid she has to parent. As for Zuko, that "well you're just a teenager" line is funny and it's easy to think of Zuko as someone who takes himself too seriously (and part of why it's funny is that teenagers in general do view themselves as so much older than younger children), but Zuko was kicked out of his home at thirteen and expected to be fighting a fully-realized adult Avatar. Even when he was Aang's age, he never had the luxury of thinking of himself that way. You can see this also in the way Zuko interacts with adults early in the series, notably Zhao and his crew. He is desperate to be seen as a hardened adult because he has had to act like one to survive.
These people don't act this way because they've lost their morals or sense of fun or because they don't value peace enough. They act this way because this is what they were forced to do to survive. I think people would rightly be offended by the idea that wanting to see Ozai dead for his crimes makes them just as violent as a genocidal tyrant, and they would be right to feel resentful that Ozai gets to live when he was responsible for so much violence. This is also why Zuko tells Ozai that he's lucky that Aang spared his life. Because in the end, Aang has NO moral obligation to spare Ozai whatsoever, not because of his culture or any reason. Pacifism has never meant that you aren't allowed to use necessary force to stop violence from happening. And anyone who uses the argument that Aang has to spare Ozai because of his culture or that this is his only way to honor his people is LYING.

I suddenly have a thought what if aeon! Reader is interested in amphoreus👀? when aeon!reader hear about this planet/world aeon! Reader want to visit this planet. But in human form, because you know aeon's form is so huge than a planet and so the people won't feel intimidated by reader.
Maybe aglaea feel something strong or devine is appear in amphoreus because of her golden treads.so, she inform the crysos heir about this, thinking of stronger enemy is appear but its just aeon!reader who want to know about this planet (aeon! Reader is just forget to hide their aura).
They are exploring the amphoreus, and heard about the titans and crysos heir. After hearing the story about the crysos heir, I have 2 diferent thought , here is my thought:
1. if aeon of fate! Reader have a kind heart, they will feel bad that they can't give the crysos heir a good fate, maybe they just hoping they can give it to the crysos heir but, giving the crysos heir a fate full of happy thing without the sad thing happened, will broke the balance that hooh try to maintain(because you know, story of life without bad things happen is not exist 😢). So aeon of fate! Reader don't have a choice but to give them that fate.
2. If aeon of fate! Reader don't have a heart or don't care at all, they just ignore it and thinking its just their responsibility to create fate for living beings just as Hooh told them to do, the type of someone like "oh,you have a problem? Its okay, as long as its not my problem" And maybe they will leave faster after that, to continue doing their task making fate for other living beings.
Maybe the crysos heir meet aeon!reader in their human form and have a talk with them
Thats all, I hope you understand what I'm saying because I'm not expert at english 😅
Oh, this is such an interesting concept! The idea of an Aeon of Fate visiting Amphoreus in human form, unintentionally making Aglaea and the Chrysos Heir wary, is such a fun setup. It’s got mystery, divine intrigue, and a little bit of bittersweetness, depending on how Aeon!Reader reacts to the heir’s fate.
I love both of your ideas for how Aeon!Reader could respond. If they have a kind heart, it makes sense that they'd feel guilty about not being able to give the Chrysos Heir a happier fate. Even if they want to help, they know that fate must remain balanced. Maybe they linger longer than they should, watching over the heir, quietly hoping things will turn out okay despite the hardships. That quiet struggle—knowing they could change things but shouldn’t—is so compelling.
On the other hand, if Aeon!Reader is more detached, I can totally see them treating it as just another duty. They visit, observe, and leave without getting emotionally involved. Maybe they even find the heir’s suffering interesting in a purely analytical way—like, “Ah, yes, this is how mortal struggles shape history.” It would make their brief interaction with the heir feel almost eerie, like meeting a god who could change everything but chooses not to.
Either way, I love the idea of the Chrysos Heir meeting Aeon!Reader in their human form, completely unaware of who they really are. Maybe they talk about fate, suffering, or the weight of expectations, and Aeon!Reader—whether kind or indifferent—gives them a cryptic yet meaningful response before disappearing. Imagine the heir realizing much later who they actually spoke to!

Do you believe in a shadow milk redemption arc 🤔
The keyhole/key symbolism of them oh my god I'm going feral.
The way SM could've crumbled PV any second he wished, but didn't, to test him? To torture him?
Even despite the dark truth that SM could not accept and fell to corruption for, PV awakens and chooses a path of light
Pure vanilla becoming the key for SM, making it known that he can in fact, y'know... Not be evil
PV awakened despite the corruption (the origin of cookies, how they are made to be eaten, his whole life being a lie, etc...) due to his immense strength and sheer will to stay with his virtues, HE LITERALLY DID NOT FALTER (I am not normal about them lmao)
Keys symbolise new openings, new beginnings
With PV quite literally becoming a key to let It be known to SM that even under the heavy weight of such cruel truths, it doesn't have to mean becoming evil
What would happen if PV were to truly open am to that new possibility? For SM to truly try to redeem himself? Is he too far gone to go back?
(but anyway I like the idea of awakened PV just... Guiding SM to be kind. I still can imagine him being a bit wild and unpredictable, but PV would aim to guide him to make the right choices.. and maybe give him a "reward" that night if he behaved well?)
hey op! I think we should get married (just don't tell my current wife)
I personally love the idea of the beasts getting redeemed! Mostly bc i feel like them getting resealed is dumb and lazy. And I cannot live without Shadow Milk cookie. but on the same coin - Idk if i want that! I love Smilks personality as is currently, and having him become kinder feels like it'll strip it all away (but its soooooooo much better than crumbling him or resealing)
but omg the shenanigans awakened pv guiding smilk would prompt.... reminds me of this fic. My favorite fic. everyone should read it: https://archiveofourown.org/works/54490117/chapters/138047134 i need to put both the anon and the author of this fic in my basement

I agree with your Mary posts! I also think Dean asking her to "be a mom" in that scene is not about wanting her to baby them but simply just wanting her to choose her sons over the organization that let one of its members literally torture and r*pe Sam only a few episodes before that!
Literally Dean is so very clear in that scene that what he's upset abt is her choosing the BMOL over them. Not abt her not "parenting" them or playing "mommy." He's just upset that she doesn't seem to want to be around them, and that she instead has been working with their enemies. And even if that wasn't her intention, even if she was in fact doing it "for" them and trying to protect them by working with the enemy they're still allowed to be hurt by her decision.
She tells them that she's been struggling, trying to play three decades of catch up and Dean tells her they have been struggling too. They have been grieving her their whole lives. But now that she's here they want her there. She's finally alive, they finally have a chance to be together, and she keeps leaving. And that hurts. But he also understands and sympathizes. He tells her, "You said that you needed time. No, you said you need space. So we gave you your space." They have been patient with her. Dean understands very well needing time and space to process things. But what hurts is that, from his perspective, it seems like she is choosing anyone but them. So when he says, "No, you needed space from us," and when she says she's "trying" and he cuts in with "How 'bout for once, you just try to be a mom?" IMO it's less about wanting her to "mother" them and play mommy and more about wanting her to be present in their lives, to choose them, to unconditionally love and support them and shoulder some of the pain and burdens they have been carrying on their own their whole lives. He wants, for once, to have a parent that CHOOSES him over the "mission." Like, don't people think that maybe seeing another parent walk out on him and choose hunting / work over being present in his life is a little bit upsetting / salting old wounds?
Anyways, I love Mary, though some may think it's a hashtag Crime to sympathize with Dean in this scene but like ??? Some people are projecting a lot of stuff Dean did not say or express in that scene. His upset and main criticism is about her choosing the BMOL over them, that's made clear in this exchange:
Dean: So between us and them – Mary: It's not like that. Dean: Yeah, Mary, it is. And you made your choice. So there's the door.
It's not about wanting her to play some "mom" role as if they were children. He wants her to choose them over their adversaries, and to be around them, get to know them, something both Dean and Sam want to do.
Anyways, I am always saying I would have loved more from this arc esp re: Mary's grief over losing her "babies." I think a lot of what Mary's feeling would've hit harder if they'd showed us more of her grief. (The "I need you to see me" scene hits so good for me bc it's tied up with this complicated grief. Mary finally acknowledging that adult Dean IS her baby. Truly SEEING him, instead of the perpetual 4 yr old that lives in her mind). But I don't blame her for wanting / needing space to process (deancoded!) or for throwing herself into hunting to Cope (john-and-sam coded!). Or for struggling with her identity in this new life. I enjoy all the tension and her being flawed and real and messy.

why is everyone so obsessed with making ghost choose between blue and twix?
I mean I can understand why in this setting the question comes up but I will just say he will never be put in that position and I don't think putting his child's life first makes it an easy choice or takes away from his feelings from Twix. She would WANT him to put her first.
Maybe a more interesting question is whose life does he value more, his or Twix's?

angel of the codeine scene — [09] over and and over again
prev / masterlist / afterword
sypnosis. [ 1.6k words. epilogue ] — The end of the suffering and the beginning of a new start.
usagi's note: HI i hope u guys read my afterword, there is so much i wanna say, but in case u guys, don't read it, i just really wanna say thanku for choosing to read this, ily guys, thanks for reading until the end <3
Rex Lapis was not indifferent.
He tries really hard to give Liyue and its people the epilogue after the war, to preserve the peace they protect, and to give his remaining yaksha the epilogue he deserves.
He tries, really.
Because he couldn't give the same to himself.
In a war where you are blessed to find love, you will be cursed to choose who to protect. Yourself? Your people? Or your lover?
There are no multiple choices, you can only choose one.
Rex Lapis had to find out the hard way.
He sends for Baizhu-yisheng and Changsheng-xiaoren again, just to make sure his warrior doesn't lose hope.
To make sure he doesn't have regrets.
To make sure he gets his own epilogue.
At sunset, they perform the ritual once again.
…
The hair on the back of Xiao's next rose once he saw the golden beacon of light once more.
He's seen this once.
Back when…
He… it… he doesn't want to hope.
The Conqueror of Demons hears his god's summons. He goes.
…
“Are you sure it's alright to do this…?” Baizhu asks as he helps clothe your…? (was it still you?) body…? into new garments.
“To do what?” Rex Lapis asks as he ties your hair up.
You- or rather what Baizhu thinks is a reincarnation of you, has been blinking sleepily for the past half hour, leaning over to Liyue’s Archon.
“To bring her back to life?”
“Hm…” The Archon thinks as he pets your head, “She's not dead, hasn't been at all,”
Baizhu's eyebrows knit together, waiting for the man to explain.
“But, the scene at Luhua Pool?”
He merely laughs, “Simply to immortalize her,” he says, “Luhua Pool is a door to a different plane of existence, it serves to preserve her memories and soul,”
Rex Lapis’ eyes stare at him and smile, “This right here is only a body, a… shell of sorts,”
Baizhu feels horrified at this but at the same time he is intrigued, with this kind of creation, would it be possible to immortalize a normal human?
“Worry not, this has been done many times before, I've done this with Ganyu, too, though her place of transmission was different, Cloud Retainer and Moon Carver have gone through a similar process back in the war,”
Changsheng hisses amusedly at her companion's reaction.
“Baizhu-yisheng, Changsheng-xiaoren? Would you accompany me to Luhua Pool?”
…
There are only a few times Xiao has felt sick to his stomach.
The first was when he was told to eat dreams for the first time.
The second was when he lost you at the river.
The third was when he learned that the other Yaksha had succumbed to death.
And the fourth was when he realized he killed you.
Seeing Luhua Pool again, with Rex Lapis' back to him, was the fifth.
The Archon knew of his presence even before he neared the ground.
“Xiao,” he greets.
“Morax,” Xiao kneels.
“Stand.”
Weapons do not question their wielder. Servants do not question their masters. Demons do not question their gods-
He faces his Archon, “Why?”
Rex Lapis steps aside and he sees…
You.
Zhongli lets out a small sad smile when he sees the warrior buckle at the knees at the sight of you.
“I… How… Is this… Is this a mockery? A punishment?” his warrior says as he tries his hardest not to show emotion in front of his god.
“No, Xiao,” he says as he places a shoulder on his and guides him to you, “A solace.”
“A reprieve.”
“I don't- I don't understand- why would-”
“Would you like to do the honors of bringing her back to you?”
You stare at him with curiosity as Zhongli guides Xiao to you.
You're quiet again.
“Dip her in the water, she already knows what to do, you just need to hold her, I'll take care of the rest,” his voice ever assuring.
“Qingxin…”
Xiao carries you in his arms, the same way he did when he brought you here to rest, he slowly eases you into the water, eyes on you the whole time, watching for any sign of discomfort.
But you only stared back at him, holding nothing of the memories from before.
“Close your eyes, okay?” he murmurs.
Once he sees you nod and your eyes flutter shut, he lowers you deeper into the water until your face is submerged and Rex Lapis begins to chant with Changsheng.
“Qingxin,” Xiao closes his eyes and presses his forehead to yours under the water.
“Come back to me.”
…
In the dusk, among the quiet of the night, Luhua Pool glows with beauty, the fireflies string around to illuminate and enhance the reflection of the moon above.
…
Your hand catches onto the back of Xiao's neck and he lifts your face above the water.
The chanting from the two has already ended and they stand to watch as the conqueror of demons wipe away the water from your face as you cough a bit.
His hand stays to cup your face.
“Xiansheng?”
Tears drip onto your face without him even realising it.
“Forgive me,” he chokes on his words, “I never- I never meant to- to hurt you, or- or to lose control, I- I should've been faster, I should've- should've asked for- asked for he-”
“Hey, hey, no,” you say as you pull him into your neck, “I'm fine, I'm here, I'm with you,”
Xiao sobs even harder into your neck, “I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry,” he repeats over and over.
You pull Xiao, your Xiao, into your arms and give him the tightest embrace you could muster with your current strength right now and he bunches the back of your hanfu as he hugs you loosely, not wanting to hurt you with his strength.
As he buries his face into your neck, you're caught with the sight of Morax looking at the two of you with a smile, Baizhu-yisheng and Changsheng-xiaoren nowhere to be found.
“Thank you,” you mouth.
He nods and leaves in a trail of golden light.
You thread your fingers into Xiao's hair and he sighs the last of his sobs into your skin.
“Xiansheng, should we go home?”
Xiao pulls away from you and nods, wiping at his face with his hands, you giggle as you help him, his eyes still rimmed with red.
“Come now, we have a lot to talk about,” you say and he warps away.
…
That night was the most you've ever heard Xiao talk, or at least according to your memories, which were still a bit fuzzy, but you remember enough from your first reincarnation.
The memories from your time with Xiao in the war were even fuzzier now, as if they were books you've read but can't remember the context of, only returning in feelings or scents.
Xiao has apologized more than eighty times that night, his tears endless as you comfort him in your arms.
“Don't worry, now that the whole reincarnating thing is an option, you won't get rid of me so easily,”
“I wish not to be rid of you at all,” he says, voice still stuffy from crying.
“How cute,” you say as you pinch the cheek that wasn't resting on your chest, “The conqueror of demons all so soft,”
…
The two of you talk for the rest of the night, helping each other understand, and taking the time to make him understand that it wasn't his fault.
Xiao promises never to hurt you again and you promise never to leave his side for too long.
After all, his karmic debt, even if significantly reduced by your previous incarnation, was still active.
You decide to get tea with Morax the next day.
…
“Ah, that,” he says as he pours a fruit blend tea, sunsettia and apple tea, “Well, to be frank with you, I haven't the slightest idea of how you reduced his karmic debt,”
“Wait, you mean to tell me that you created me to 'heal him', but you yourself have no idea how to?”
It was… a bit unnerving for Xiao to hear you question his Archon so openly.
“Yes, forgive me, dear, I only wanted a reprieve for your beloved,” he says and takes a sip of his tea.
“That's so… hmph,” you huff and take a sip of your tea.
“Well, what about how I heal him?” You ask a different question.
“I have my suspicions that it aided your untimely death,” Morax says.
“What?”
“Well, the universe must find balance, to take is to be given, and to be given is to take.”
Xiao's brows knit together, “Are you saying she died because she healed me?”
“Yes, Xiao, although I can bring her back, so I do not think it will be an issue, on another note, too, the karmic debt does not further resurface after she somehow heals it,”
The warrior holds his head, that was… a lot of information to take in… he takes a look at you and sighs, this will surely be your topic for the night.
“Wait, I don't get it, if you could bring me back, why didn't you bring Guizhong-xiangsheng back?”
The Archon smiles sadly.
“Because her body didn't have a medium to preserve her memories,” he paused, “She did not want to be reincarnated, she told me so,”
“Oh.”
“Sorry,” you apologize as you pour him another cup of tea.
He laughs at that, “No worries, my child, it is in the past, I'm sure wherever Guizhong is now, she is happier and at peace,”
He looks up at the sky and feels the breeze flow through his hair.
As you look at Xiao, who seems to enjoy the breeze of the wind, too, you think.
You'll choose Xiao.
You'll choose to reincarnate.
You'll heal him and rid him of his karmic debt.
Over and over again.
Until you both get the epilogue you deserve.

I've been evading Lin for a while now. I am so complicated. I want to do content for her, but my mental health and emotions don't allow me to do it. Last night, I did some thinking, and yes, she still reminds me of some painful truths. HAHAHA. ANYWAY. That's how I came up with this idea.
Well, I've talked about villain Lin before, but what if it was the other way around? What if there's a timeline where Tenzin is the one who went rogue? Imagine a world where Tenzin chooses Lin despite the Air Nation being against it. They reject their union after learning about Lin’s decision not to have kids, but Tenzin respects her choice. The acolytes, however, take matters into their own hands.
On the day of the wedding, Lin went missing. Toph and Suyin search everywhere, but there’s no trace of her. Tenzin is left heartbroken. Years go by, and they all come to accept Lin’s passing. Then, Aang dies, and Tenzin eventually gets engaged to an air acolyte. But just before the wedding, she confesses a shocking truth—she witnessed Lin’s abduction. She couldn’t bear the guilt anymore and decided to come clean.
Enraged, Tenzin confronts the Air Nation. At first, they deny everything, but his fury is overwhelming. Kya, Bumi, and Katara try to reason with him, but emotions boil over when one of the abbots finally tells the truth. He admits to Lin’s abduction and the plan to keep her away until Tenzin marries the "right woman." But there’s more—Lin had been pregnant (the universe playing tricks on them). They kept her hidden in one of the Air Temples until the child was born, but during an escape attempt, she tragically fell off a cliff.
That was the final straw. In a moment of blind rage, Tenzin takes the abbot’s life. His family is left in shock at his actions. Without looking back, Tenzin flees, vowing revenge on everyone responsible for Lin’s and his child’s deaths.
Fast forward to Korra’s time, and the world is in a crisis—there’s no one left to teach her airbending. In desperation, they search for Tenzin, now known as "The Infamous Last Airbender."
But the man they find is nothing like the one they once knew.

Ngl I kinda hate it when you talk about lizzie cause you always talk about this version of her and the fandom that's so utterly foreign to me as a lizzie fan, it always feels like a damned if you do damned if you don't scenario where she isn't allowed to interact with men and ignoring all the depth of her character in order to overanalyze specific events or headcanons in a vacuum and then saying it's ignoring her character and misogyny, as well as ignoring the irl misogyny that shapes the cc's choices for their c's. Big sister and protector is a title she bestowed upon herself and it should neither be dismissed as "just that one time " (because so much of everyone else's characterization is based on things that were "that one time" and it is also something both her and jimmy choose to quite fondly call back to) nor incongruent with her character at someone who loves a good "i meant to do that" and self-agrandizing herself. It feels more like you have to ignore several years worth of both hers and jimmy's story and characterization and also the more problematic realities of the situation (such as it being lizzies second season, while it had been jimmy's 5th season of an incredbly prominent ongoing plot point, and that lizzie's external interactions of note were, outside of our power and for various reasons, primarily with men, among other things) to boil the whole situation down to its most barest of bones of "people make lizzies death about jimmy". Which I find an untrue twisting of the actual concept most of the time but acknowledge it is sometimes simplified to, and there are aspects of misogyny in lizzie's portrayal, but you frame it in a way as if the concept itself is inherently misogynistic and purely a fandom issue. The fact is that no matter who it was, the first first death that wasnt jimmy was always going to be a bit about jimmy, there is no avoiding it and no seasonal plot that was going to overcome that fact, and lizzie is a good friend whos become his sister who explicitely had a plot about wanting and failing to protect him, who had a significant interaction with him not long prior where he killed her accidentally, and died while specifically targetting a man who was both jimmys tormenter and joels rival whom she randomly selected to be her target, and died due to a tripping failure which has already been previously interpretted in the past as being tied to fate, and the in game reactions being cpnfusion, happy/shocked jimmy managed to not be out first, and swearing to avenge her death. You'd be hard pressed to believe these things wouldn't be still true and play out the same if she was a different gender, and most of them would still happen even if she was an entirely different player. Nevermind the copious different interpretations that fall within the framing of it as a seablings moment, from wanting to give an accidental death more meaning and connecting dots (because thats most of what fandom does with an ad libbed story like the life series to begin with), to simply enjoying the poetic irony of both seablings being the first out, lizzie showing her true cringfail colours now that shes returned to the series, to tying it into the fact that yes she didn't do it onl purpose, but she absolutely would tell people and even herself that she did just to retain her dignity in the same way a cat who missed a toy stops chasing it and starts grooming themselves like they never meant to go after it in the first place.
And also, like, you ARE a Jimmy person also, so I'm not surprised you primarily interacted with stuff that involved Jimmy. As a Lizzie fan I saw plenty that was to do primarily with Lizzie, and yeah there was a significant amount that involved Jimmy. I didn't see any one of the people who complained about that fact actually go on to make works without Jimmy. I did see other Lizzie fans before and after making such works, and the works that did involve Jimmy being works with deapth and love for their specific relationship, stories, and personalities. I saw plenty of people who hadn't watched Lizzie at all suddenly become interested and retroactively watch her series, and of course the works the made before doing so weren't centred on her, because they were coming from different povs and didn't know as much, and their works after became more in-depth and come out the gate swinging during wild life where she stole the spotlight for much of the season.
I don't know as much about Pearl and Gem's fandoms. But I do know that Pearl is frequently treated as a wet cat and a little crazy, but also she loves playing particular characters like postwoman and cleaning lady that specifically utilize their responsibility to enact chaos through malicious compliance. And Gem takes open pride at being smarter and less ridiculous than everyone else even while actively doing the same things as them, she loves going "youre crazy!... I'm in." And she's pulled a "stupid boys" move several times. Which is to say, whether you consider it a product of misogyny or not, it is an aspect of their characters, they don't live in a cultural vacuum and by the nature of the series where they are only partly roleplaying and each character exists within the framework of their cc's biases, you cannot just analyze their actions like its a typical narrative with a single author you can point to and say they poorly write women. And you cannot blame fandom when these aspects of their character are represented, and while some do do so to the exclusion of the rest, 5am Pearl is the only life series plushie for a reason. Nevermind the difficulties of analyzing what people an fandom think of characters based off of the popularity of certain art and umbrella narrative concepts from fanwork posted excitedly in the moment without going to each individual and asking them what their full thoughts are on a character assuming they have the ability to articulate their opinions and thoughts properly. I'm sure those people who complained about Lizzie's death being tied to Jimmy had a LOT of thoughts about Lizzie, but as I said none of them actually bore fruit in the form of fanworks. Most people do not have time or ability to convey complex ideas, what you see at any given time when searching through fanart and short text posts in particular are the most resonant, dramatic, small thoughts and moments that touched something in someone enpugh to inspire.
That is to say, as a Lizzie fan, one of the reasons I love her is the exact trits that lead to her choosing to become Jimmy's big sister in empires 1 in the way that she does. Her paper thin often facade of respectability and dignity, her failures despite it, her talent for mixing drama and comedy, her ability make up stories that often agrandize herself, her instant chemistry with most anyone, her ditziness and distractedness, her ability confidently declare facts even when theyre completely false, her ability to tie coincidences together into a coherent story. And absolutely all these things are also relevant to why I and others find framing her secret life death in a seablings light to be compelling. Personally, for me, I love that her death connects her to others when her time in secret life was so lonely. It can be bother angsty and, because these games don't end at the persons death, comforting and sweet. And I don't know anyone who was compelled by the potential character connection who wasn't also compelled and even directly spurred on by her as an individual. To boil it down to "she died for a man's story" is both untrue and removing it from its context, the especially when half the context is 2 narratives Lizzie herself crafted for herself and the result was something she herself enjoed enough to play into to craft a 3rd narrative in the next series.
Anyways... I know this won't change your mind. I don't expect it to. I'm just so tired of shallow takes and people who aren't even Lizzie fans talking about Lizzie's narrative through the context of the small snippet of what they see from other non-Lizzie fans based off immediate gut reactions that often stifle the way people talk about the women in this series to ironically complain about how people talk about women in this series. The feminist analysis in this fandom feels so... shallow. Like it begins and ends with the bechdel test as applied to more conventional works of fiction. Big sister bad, women interact primarily with men bad, people see women as responsible because misogyny. No further depth or context despite the endless paragraphs dedicated to these ideas, especially once theyre disseminated out to use against other fans to tell them theyre creating fanworks wrong.
Because of how politely this is written, it took me a few rereads and external evaluation, but I recognize that you're criticizing me for the things I criticize. All your ask really boils down to, is defending fandom practises that I criticize because I disagree with them. Like that of making Lizzie out to be a one-note character. You make good points, you speak the truth. The fandom IS like this. And that's why I criticize it. Because I don't like it. You're absolutely right that you haven't changed my mind
People are allowed to have their fun, I do not police people. I do not maintag my opinions 90% of the time. I'm allowed to voice my disagreements. You pointed out that a lot of fandom goers just don't care to dwell deeper into characters, that's fine. But I do
I think it says something when you have to make Lizzie's character about a relationship that was canon in ESMP1 and bears little to no actual presence elsewhere like the Life series. I don't care whether people headcanon her and Jimmy as siblings even in traffic, the issue is that she gets little to no characterization outside of that in SL, a series in which their only notable interaction was Jimmy killing her. Lizzie deserves an identity outside of "choosing to be Jimmy's sister". (She'd also gone out of her way to try and kill Scott because of Joel, it wasn't random.) And this type of treatment is detrimental to Jimmy too. Just as the misogyny in the fandom is always detrimental to the men also. Quoting one of my evaluation friends: "They aren't inherently wrong, you cant detach the men from the story and have it be the same but also to take an already interesting moment and story beat and just start piling unnecessary 'sibling' stuff onto it kind of ruins the drama and tragedy of the death itself"
Of course women can have meaningful connections with the men. It's not bad or misogynistic. I talk about Pearl and Scott's dynamic constantly and have never seen nor received a complaint about Pearl's character being made to be all about a man. Think about the relevance between those two vs Jimmy and Lizzie in the Life series
I talk about Lizzie frequently because I like and care about her character. I'm not saying that the people I disagree with don't. Clearly you care a lot too. The sentiment that people are just creating based on something that left a big enough impact on them to inspire, eg Lizzie's SL death, is very fair, but I can still disagree with it. I mourn that more people don't take that newfound interest to indulge in Lizzie's POV more, and that because of people's tendency to absorb characterization from the fandom to feed back into itself, that's all a lot of them know and care to learn about ("Lizzie taking a bullet for Jimmy" and all) and how so many characters (not just the women) in my opinion end up being absurdly one-note in their analysis and opinion pieces for being players in a death game (+ the practise of often shunning people who dare touch upon anything less desirable or popular in their analysis like abuse)
If it were a guy in Lizzie's shoes, characterized the same way that I disagree with - I would still disagree with it
I've explained it before but no, it's not misogynistic to credit the women for their successes, to point out when they're smart or protective. I see it as misogynistic when women exclusively are being accredited to successes that are not exclusive to them constantly to label them as the leaders of their groups, labelling them motherly or big sisterly solely because they're thought to be better than their male counterparts, viewing all the women as the best players specifically, etc
Lizzie's death was always going to be tied to Jimmy, yes, by the fandom, and I just don't like that personally. I don't want to resign myself to something because it "was going to happen anyway". I don't want to resign myself to approving of what little Lizzie gets in the way of the fandom because it's better than getting nothing. I shouldn't have to settle for more canary analogies than actual Lizzie centric content that barely exists. And I mean actual Lizzie centric content, I haven't seen any uptick of it that you speak of. That's all any of this really comes down to. You and I might both be avid fans of Lizzie's character but we're gonna have to disagree

Random Thoughts about Gelboys EP1 : The excitement of teen love, nail art and queer identity.
I made the decision to watch this series because it was centered around the turmoil of teen romance with nail art as the basis for the story. If you ask me nowadays if I have any interest for nail art, I would answer with a firm “no”. I have no interest with nail art anymore, but there was a time when I was younger and it was really important to me. I had several nail polishes of so many different colors and I used to change them a lot. I tried to make few designs, but turns out it's far more complicated to draw on your own nails than it is on someone's else nails. I forgot how I liked it back then when I was a teen. This long introduction that has nothing to do with the series, is to show you that I believe the creator of this series made a conscious choice when he decided to put nail art as the basis for the story and that's what I want to talk about in this “random thoughts” about the first episode.
I will make a quick summary of first episode, but you have to know there isn't much happening. This is mostly an introduction of the series' “world” and characters. We get to meet Fou4Mod aka Sakolphat Phlaphithak, a teenager boy who, in the first minutes of the series, discovers that the person he thinks he is dating, is actually seeing someone else too and he ends up blocking them from all his social media and crying from the heartbreak. Then, you'll watch him being a normal teenager: being embarrassed by his mom(‘s old taste in music) as many teens are, going to school, taking the public transport, spending time with friends, being bored in class and socializing. The first day he takes the BTS, he meets Chian and he noticed him because he was wearing nail art. From this point, he became really interested in him and it steers him to try nail art too. Unfortunately, this attraction may cause him some pain too as Chian is described as a “player” by his own friend “Bua”, another character who is a “friend” of Chian and certainly the future “love rival” of Fou4Mod. There is also another important character Baabin Saebal, Fou4Mod's friend.
So as you can see, nail art has its importance in the series. There has always been a social relevance of nail art in our society from a very long time. Unfortunately, I'm not an expert in this, so take everything I say with a grain of salt as my passion from nail art died with me discovering I had allergy to most nail polishes and I stopped caring for this when I entered university. Despite this everyone can agree that nail art is a form of creative expression. It is a way of creating its own identity through fashion because nail art can be seen as just another accessory. The color choices, the length and the shape communicate something about what you like and who you are. It's an easy way to show your individuality, and even if you're not making them yourself, it also shows your taste in art and creativity as you still get to be the one who chooses the design. In the series, the characters' nail art is made with what seems to be gel nail polish technique (I don’t know yet if it’s going to be relevant).
Nail art can be an allegory of queer identity. The fact that you can use different colors and shape to suit your taste, can be seen as letting go of your past self; the one where you couldn't be who you wanted or you had to be the way your parents/caregivers choose for you to be. In choosing some specific design for your nails, you're creating your new self, something that could be more aligned with who you want to be. It's a form of protest too, where you can reject the gender norms. If nail art can be tied to the idea of “femininity” it doesn't mean that it's only meant for this “purpose” (I'm sorry I don't a better word here). In the story of Gelboys, Fou4Mod starts doing nail art because he has developed an instant crush on Chian who was wearing it. It's probably a way of feeling connected to him that steers Fou4Mod to do it. In a way, he is self-expressing by doing nail art that he wants to become closer to Chian. I wonder if in the upcoming episodes, the choice he is going to make in his nail art will be showing the turmoil of his love life. I also want to know if there is going to be a larger discussion of his queer identity. I'm not saying it has to be shown, but I admit I would really like to see it. I feel there is a common pattern with LoveSick 2024 where I felt like young queer love can be mixed with the identity development associated with the transitional stage that is adolescence. Here in Gelboys the identity development could be seen through nail art.
Anyway, I’m pleasantly surprised by this first episode. You can see how I liked the introduction of nail art as I believe it can be queer performativity.

ꨄ︎ Single on Valentine's: ideas to inspire some self-love
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/782caebfd19979fb233a8ffe79573b62/b9813a77d1da7975-79/s540x810/7256d90220e2237a06673f1fb454fa873ef21b3f.jpg)

We all have that person in our class or friend group that is seemingly always in love. It is easy to compare yourself and feel 'Not good enough' for a partner, 'Antisocial' (In this context, Asocial), or that you're 'Going to be alone forever'. I've got news: those people who are constantly in and out of relationships are rarely happy, because they need a romantic partner for validation. They have problems loving themselves, so they need someone else to do it for them. So, whether you're aromantic, newly single or have never even had a proper relationship -- you will NOT spend this Valentine's Day crying. Not on my watch.
-------- ₊˚⊹౨ৎ ₊˚⊹ --------
ꨄ The importance of self-love, and how to attain it
The only person you can spend your whole life with is YOU. The only person who will always be with you is YOU. If you want to actually be happy in life (As opposed to constantly seeking validation from others to be happy), you need to make amends and grow a healthy relationship with yourself. Now, that's all great and good in theory, but you have likely heard this a million times and still don't know how to actually go about it. You can take real-life steps to begin to love yourself, and all you need to start is ask this question: How would I treat the person I love most in this world?
ꨄ︎ Ideas for your best Valentine's Day yet
Firstly, if you're scared to go into public on your own on the 14th, thinking you'll be judged: do it. Have the audacity. Do what everyone else is too embarrassed to do. Think of it as practicing your confidence, taking steps to have a less insecure mindset.
Writing letters to your past, present and future self: tell nine-year-old you that it's going to be alright. Write to them to say that whatever happened is not their fault. Or tell future you that you're proud of them no matter what, because if they're reading it, they're still standing.
Love language of physical touch: yes, there are ways to speak this language with yourself! A lot of us can relate to the experience of rubbing our feet together like crickets when we're comfy. So get yourself your favourite blanket and curl up in bed with some music.
Affirmations: they work. Write some down in a notebook, decorate the page with stickers, or listen to an affirmation audio from YouTube. If you have the confidence, you can even say them out loud.
Getting yourself gifts: your favourite flowers, a snack you really enjoy, a video game, a skincare product, literally anything. Great thing is, you know yourself better than anyone, so your gifts will almost always be well received.
A self-portrait: get creative. Choose your favourite art medium, whether it be oil pastels, watercolour or even photography. It's a good exercise to appreciate the little details of your body, and how it works together to create a living being.
Speaking of your body, take care of it. It may not instantly make you feel better, but lifestyle choices like diet and exercise make a massive impact on your mental health in the long run. So eat those whole foods, drink your water and do some light exercise like yoga or going on a walk.
-------- ₊˚⊹౨ৎ ₊˚⊹ --------
No relationship is perfect, and it doesn't have to be! You're allowed to be angry or frustrated with yourself, but a lot of what I've experienced is just needless hatred, and we need to fix that. That's all! Bye, Lovies!

A Letter to Varric from the Inquisitor
Varric, You are gone, and I am compelled to put my grief in ink, to seek some type of connection with you. Just when I thought there was no more sorrow to wring from my bones, I find there are oceans of it, waiting beneath the surface. And I fear if I give myself to it, I will drown. I am sorry, Varric. Cassandra, Dorian - they’ve done what friends do best and tell me not to blame myself – that there was nothing I could have done. But...how can I not? How many nights have we spoken of this very thing? The weight of our choices. The things we must live with. I still remember what you said to me about getting stuck in the losses, about moving away from the guilt of our choices so that we don’t lose ourselves to them. But I am lost right now Varric. I only put one foot in front of the other because I refuse to let that ocean pull me under. And I know what you would say to me now - you would tell me not to carry your death as another barb among all the others buried in my skin. But...allow me this moment of selfish despair before I wear the brave face again, the one that reassures everyone else that I can still hold the line: You wouldn’t have been looking for him if it weren’t for me. You wouldn’t have been there at that ritual if it weren’t for me. You wouldn’t have sacrificed all these years if it weren’t for the belief that Solas could choose another way, and maybe even be saved from himself. A belief that I held as well. And yes, Varric, I know what you would say to that too - all these years, it was your choice as well. And I love you for that. I love you for sharing that belief with me, and for being one of the few to do so. But now you have paid for that belief. I don’t know where this road will lead me. I don’t know if I will have the chance to face Solas, but I hope I do. I hope I have the courage to walk the path you walked, to make sure your sacrifice was not in vain. To see with my own eyes if the man we saw in Solas is still in there somewhere. The only thing I know is that whatever happens, whether we find a way to stop him or whether he strikes me down as well - this story will finally have its ending - and I hope it’s an ending worthy of one of your stories. I will miss you, my dearest friend. At the bottom of the page, there are additional words in different handwriting: The Stone remembers. It holds him. Warm and strong, carved with care, but never broken. He’s still there, a note in the song, humming low and steady, even when you can’t hear it.
One of my frustrations with Veilguard has been the inability for the Inquisitor to express grief over Varric’s death specifically (a constant companion in my Inquisition playthroughs). I can overlook many things as my imagination has been cooking for ten years - but this is the one thing I can't quite let go.
For my Inquisitor, for the closure the game never gave, I’ve addressed it through this letter to Varric. While my world state is Solas x Lavellan x Atonement, I wrote this to be Inquisitor neutral while still reflecting the thoughts of my Inky.
I want to thank @lotsofthinkythoughts. Without our recent chats I don't know that I would have finally finished this piece.

So nobody knows if those text messages are actually legit and even if they are it's literally just thought crime at this point?
Also really brings in a question why you or anyone sat on these for what two or three years as everybody keeps saying so was it really about outing a dangerous person or more likely a vendetta considering other people you claim have allegations against that you didn't expose or what your play in all this is.
There are actual dangerous and creepy men running rampant but you choose this and to do so on the day you did for a reason but tumblr ppl like yourself are retarded and dont need much to bark up a tree.
Do better.
I'll break this down bit by bit
>So nobody knows if those text messages are actually legit
I confirmed they were real when I got them, there's no reason for me to post what I saw for that bc it drags multiple other parties in purely to convince like three people. I've been extremely diplomatic with this drop because it's real, and I think the fact he deleted immediately speaks for itself.
>even if they are it's literally just thought crime at this point?
This is literally the same logic as "no you don't understand, she only looks 10, she's 9000 in the lore". Yeah, it's a "thought crime" -- it's not acceptable to think children or dogs are sexually attractive, and it's even less acceptable to indulge those fantasies. This is not revolutionary thinking.
>Also really brings in a question why you or anyone sat on these for what two or three years
I got the screenshots at like 5 AM Saturday (Serbian time) and gave myself until Sunday to have the post ready. That's about 36 hours.
>so was it really about outing a dangerous person or more likely a vendetta considering other people you claim have allegations against that you didn't expose or what your play in all this is.
This is so stupid and I have to break this down into chunks
Yes, it's about outing a dangerous person. I don't see why "Pharma doesn't like people who want to fuck kids and dogs" is such a hard thing to believe.
I never had anything against him before I found this shit out, in fact I don't think I ever even talked to him the entire leadup to this. I'm extremely loud and annoying about people I hate, and the worst I do is start fights and talk shit. Like come on, you're writing fanfiction at this point.
All I've posted is that I have allegations in my inbox about other people, I didn't say which people, and the purpose of doing that is to encourage people who've actually got evidence to come forward. Would you rather I just post a bunch of "he said this", "he did that", anons with nothing backing them up? Use your head here.
>There are actual dangerous and creepy men running rampant
Yeah and we just got rid of one of them. Again, send me evidence and I'll do the same shit to whoever tf it is you're thinking of.
>tumblr ppl like yourself are retarded and dont need much to bark up a tree.
Very unfortunate choice to use a dog metaphor here is all I'll say to that.

I loved the list you made about the things that Stan and Ford can and should or can't and should not be accountable but like there are somethings I don't get and I hope you could help me see things from your perspective. Like, the majority of people agrees that Ford has the right to hold a grudge at Stan for him breaking his machine since he did not apologize to Ford and time is not an apology. Ford also thought that Stan would be fine on his own and that was the reason he never checked on him. Also, Bill is a master manipulator, so Ford believing in him is more about Bill being good at manipulating people than Ford's ego.
I also think you forget to add some things, like, Ford didn't explained to Stan the situation that he was in, he just shoved the Journal 1 on him and ordered him to hide it without even saying if he would contact him to come back or not. He also brought up their childhood dream while doing that and later said to Stan that did nothing worthwhile with his life until that moment. And he also burned and branded Stan. While Stan called Ford selfish for not using his grant money to help their family and later tried to burn Journal 1 out of spite. He also messed up with Ford's infinity sided dice, which put him and Dipper in danger.
Thanks for the ask!
Regarding Ford not checking on Stan, I think you are correct that he figured Stan would be fine… but I also think that Ford believed this at least in part because he doesn’t want contend with his mixed feelings about his brother. He just wants to feel justifiably angry, so that he can forget about Stan and focus on himself and his future. Knowing that Stan was suffering would force him to confront how he does still love and miss his brother (but his aim is getting better), which would burden him and put him in a position of having to choose whether to make a sacrifice (whether it be time, money, emotional effort, part of his career goals) for Stan’s sake. Which he doesn’t want to do. Ford isn’t a bad guy, and he does love his brother… but he is really good at believing things just because he wants to believe them. I don’t think this is a reasonable view of reality though. Stan was kicked out at 18, with no money to his name, no friends, no family, no home. Ford should have considered the possibility that Stan may be suffering and need him. I certainly don’t blame him for being upset with Stan about the project or even necessarily for holding a grudge about it (especially given how terribly Stan handled that confrontation), but we know Ford cares for his brother despite that, and he doesn’t really show it when he chooses to never check on him for 10 years.
As for Bill and Ford, well I think it’s both Bill’s manipulation AND Ford’s ego. Like yes Bill was a good manipulator, but it worked because there was something for him to target. Ford was so desperate to believe he was special and important, which goes back to Ford being really good at believing things that aren’t actually reasonable just because he wants them to be true. I’ll link a more in depth post that I made that is kinda on this same topic, if you are interested :)
Then for the other points you bring up, you are right that both of them did a lot to escalate that situation into a fight. I will admit I am extremely lenient towards Ford in this situation because he was in the middle of a mental breakdown. I mean he’s been essentially tortured for days on end, I don’t blame him for being a bit thoughtless. I think the onus was on Stan to see that and realize he needs to be the bigger person in that moment. As for the infinity sided dice though, gotta disagree about that being on Stan… who puts an incredibly dangerous object like that in a cheap plastic case in a little sack? 😂 but to be fair, that dumb choice was more just for plot purposes so the episode can happen.
Here’s a link to the post I mentioned:
And thanks again for the ask, I love the Stan twins and talking about their relationship!

X-Men pick sides during Schism

Logan and Scott have fallen out and the former is leaving Utopia to restart the school. All mutants have to choose whether to stay or leave and there's a sense of campaigning by both men. Their stump speeches are captioned over the framing device of a delightfully homoerotic caveman fight.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/89a40b40614ccd4f263a6b91e022ef22/6d698acd20316ec3-bb/s1280x1920/c8b7ab6bfbcf1b7d4f9ba3584008e8b5dc09dbb4.jpg)
Rogue and Mags, who are kinda dating at this point, discuss. They both laugh at the idea that Magneto would leave, but it's not as funny as his jab at Logan. Rogue leaves.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/32adcf0426935c791a00f545ceaec40d/6d698acd20316ec3-76/s1280x1920/067fb5a54f6df50d3be0f443eb5ab89edfa02ac1.jpg)
Ororo's in the middle of packing her bags until she and Scott have a very frank conversation. She's not cool with the direction of Utopia but agrees to stay as a moral compass (and to support her friend.) It feels like the whole 'endangered species' thing isn't really being discussed.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/6cd4b182acf5d3f590b804b7a5d31af6/6d698acd20316ec3-c4/s1280x1920/03c286aa5a48925c805443f7956b3dd6694be648.jpg)
Namor - not going anywhere. Probably wasn't invited. Rachel - might not have all the context, lol. She's leaving. Danger - primarily interested in rehabilitation of criminals, for some reason. Also, she hates the school. Quentin - would stay but doesn't get a choice. Doctor Nemesis - is a dick. Stays. Laura - goes to Avengers Academy, eventually
Magik - a prisoner. Martha Johanssen - staying, possibly because she's a brain in a jar. The Cuckoos - split, but they choose the school to be where Quentin Quire isn't. That doesn't work out.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4437bd2d9b4a56b498f8d55df9a22cfd/6d698acd20316ec3-47/s540x810/6d3bd7b8587d21af2084919e20c478a337360cf1.jpg)

Frenzy - leaves because she loves Scott after choosing to keep her memories from Age of X. Being here sucks for her. Gambit - gives a laconic reason, but he's probably going when Rogue is. Avalanche - he's like what? I don't even go here. Why are you asking me?
Toad wants to leave but Logan basically tells him to fuck off. He explicitly rejects him on the grounds of past violence - a bit rich coming from Logan. Toad begs and Logan only agrees when he offers to be the unpaid janitor. This is really shitty and unheroic. For someone who had their own journey of reform (kinda? I feel like people just got used to him) he's quite callous with other people's potential. Quentin Quire gets treated like a prince no matter what he does; Toad has to beg for the privilege of cleaning up shit and worse. I'd betray Logan too in his position.
The Academy X kids - their opinions are overshadowed by Prodigy and Hellion's pretty one-sided rivalry. David makes a good point backed up by facts and Hellion is understandably pissed off about not having hands. Rockslide is the sensible one, lol. These character models are so off.

Gentle advocates for everyone following their own path until Santo returns to oafish form and derails. He asks Blindfold where she's going but cuts her off before she can elaborate. The prophets are always ignored.

Emma lets Scott sweat for a bit before revealing she liquidated her corporate holdings to bankroll Utopia. She'll regret this, but it's a very selfless thing to do.

With that, the Schism is Schismed and the two sides go their separate ways. The only hard feelings are between Scott and Logan though, and even then it's mostly the latter. Thus, The Jean Grey School and Extinction Team were born.

We're back!
After almost a year, the Touhou Crack Month is back for a second edition, hopefully filled with many more fun pairings and fun fics, and for this second edition, artworks as well!
What is this event?
This is a month-long AO3/Tumblr event where artists are given randomly-generated crackships, and have to desperately wrangle with whatever absurdity the RNG has wrought upon them. This event is meant to celebrate creativity, originality and adaptability in shipping.
If you're looking for a challenge, something to break your routine, a breath of fresh air, or want to experience with never-before-seen interactions and dynamics, look no further!
Proceedings
The event lasts the whole month of March 2025, starting on March 1st at 00:01 and ending on April 1st at midnight (both CET), ideally all works should be published before that deadline (not that it's a huge deal if they aren't). Each participant will receive their pairings on March 1st, each distinct from everyone else's.
You are only expected to make a single fic or artwork, but if you are really determined, nothing stops you from making even more than that, of either kind! There are never enough crackships.
Guide for potential participants (keep reading)
To participate, simply sign up using the form provided at the end of this post. In there, you can select different options to customize your experience. First is a 'difficulty' setting:
Easy: 4 randomly-generated pairings, with one to choose from for your fic.
Normal: 3 pairings.
Hard: 2 pairings.
Lunatic: only 1 pairing, so no choice!
You also have options to exclude some characters, for instance if you know them too little, or if you don't want to make ship content involving them.
For writers
Completed fics are to be published to the official AO3 Touhou Crack Month 2025 collection.
For visual artists
Completed artworks are to be published on Tumblr, under the #thcrackmonth2025 tag.
Eligible pairings
There are some restrictions put on the pairings, both to avoid uncomfortable ones, and to ensure the "crack" in the name isn't cosmetic.
Generally, eligible pairings are those where the two characters have no significant canon dialogue, interactions or strong backstory links (the latter case covers pairings such as Miko/Saki). Generic, one-off fight banter generally doesn't count (especially relevant for playable characters), nor does VS mode-exclusive dialogue (not counted as canon), nor do very brief manga/print work scenes (e.g. the big banquet of Silent Sinner in Blue).
Also excluded will be ships with strong fanon presence despite little canon basis, such as "successive bosses" ships (e.g. Wriggle/Mystia, Doremy/Sagume).
This event is yuri only, so male characters are excluded. Non-humanoid characters are also excluded unless otherwise specified by individual participants.
Note that these rules aren't exhaustive and I may exclude some other pairings in keeping with the general spirit of the rules above.
General rules
No NSFW, no intense depictions of abuse be it sexual or not (e.g. pedophilia, child abuse, etc), no incest (though all such pairings are already ineligible). Beyond that, there is no issue with delving into more mature themes, as long as they are tagged properly.
FORM LINK
The sign-up form is available here. Make sure to read all the instructions properly.
In case you have any additional questions, just send an ask to the blog and I'll try to answer the best I can!

60, 17, 28, 71, and 90 for the ask thing with Tori and Poppy!
EMMA MY DARLING! Thank you for the ask! 🥹🫂♥️
60. Are they willing to show PDA? If not, is there a reason?
They are not afraid to show affection in public, but they don't want be disgusting lmao It's mostly chaste kisses and holding hands. What happens when they find a private place tho 👀
17. Who steals whose clothes? Does their significant other mind?
Well, Tori can't really steal Poppy's clothes because the gf is smol 😂 On the other hand, Poppy might steal some shirts or scarf hehehe Does Tori mind? Pft the golden retriever is imploding for the cuteness
28. Do they trust one another? Are comfortable discussing their fears with one another?
They 100% trust each other. Actually Tori trusts more Poppy than herself lmao But it is Poppy the one who's more confortable talking about her fears.
71. If someone were to insult their S/O, how would the other handle it?
Tori is Hufflepuff but hasn't the patience of one so if you insult Poppy she is ready to fight you. But if you manage to piss Poppy off, the sweet and patient Poppy, by insulting Tori, congratulations you choose death!
90. Who likes kids more? Who can't stand them?
They both like kids! Little spoiler for the future: Tori and Poppy (like after a few years of marriage) will become accidental parent of a little baby they find in a poacher camp they've just raided. Basic choice, but the name is Eleazar 🥺
